CoinAlpha, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Mountain View/Silicon Valley, is a FinTech software engineering company specializing in trading software for digital assets, combining expertise in data engineering, machine learning, and blockchain engineering to create trading solutions. The team believes that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies have the potential to revolutionize finance, amongst other industries, and are deeply involved with the global Decentralized Finance community that is dedicated to bring about this change. CoinAlpha created Hummingbot in 2019 - now the leading open-source crypto trading bot with a 26,000+ member Discord community. This community represents crypto/tech/trading/DeFi-savvy members, including token issuers, exchanges, professional traders, funds, market makers, and developers. Hummingbot serves the cryptocurrency market’s need for liquidity by enabling anyone to become a liquidity provider by building market-making and arbitrage bots. Additionally, CoinAlpha pioneered the concept of community-powered, decentralised market making by writing the Liquidity Mining whitepaper and built the first such platform: Hummingbot Miner. Miner has turned into a successful, standalone business that provides liquidity to hundreds of tokens across multiple exchanges, powered by thousands of individual market makers running Hummingbot. We build advanced tooling and systems on top of Hummingbot, working alongside the Hummingbot Foundation to democratize algorithmic trading and promote user adoption. CoinAlpha’s mission is to be the World’s trusted software solution for liquidity. For more information, check out: https://coinalpha.com/
