All right. We should be live. There's a delay, but we should be live. Let me check on make sure they populated the link on X.
It did. We are live on all platforms.
Let's refresh.
I'm about to win the big pot. Give it to me.
Oh, give it to me. Oh, no. No. Oh. Give it to me.
I'm tied with someone.
Who is this?
I think I'm out.
No, I'm in.
I lost on the death match.
I just want to.
That's the worst.
What's the split on this?
Did I get a part of that?
Because it's 15?
Or maybe it's from previous rounds, I guess.
That's the new feature we're implementing,
like revenue speed between the top players.
But by the way, we're not seeing the screen on the live.
I'll fix that right now.
I'm trying to do that while
picking, share.
Oh, geez. I don't know about this one.
Oh, I got it.
Well, easy one.
Yeah, that's easy.
Because guys are lazy.
Is that what you're trying to say?
I think there's two rules
when it comes to sex positions.
From behind, always win.
That one was from behind.
That one was lost.
There's a blowjob supremacy happening.
Damn, everyone got fucked up except for you.
Mavos came in and just started wrecking everyone.
I got lucky with this one.
All right, let's go.
We're 10 people playing.
This is really amazing.
How big is 10 max on the room right now?
Yeah, what we noticed is that 10 is is kind of okay because it can get really
really long yeah um and it's still chaotic enough to to have the fun oh english breakfast is always
breakfast man but it english breakfast is not a cuisine you know what i mean
English breakfast is not a cuisine.
You know what I mean?
You got to be okay with the beans.
Oh, this one always jacks me up.
Oh, wait a second.
There we go.
I would want to pick the one on the left,
but I don't think everyone else picks the right.
Oh, you're a mid-ball guy.
I'm with my gut.
Yeah, I always go with my gut i i feel like whatever my
intuition is whatever my eyes are immediately drawn to it's less about the actual thing and
more about like the as i get dunked on because i pick a platform right there
i don't know shoes enough so i know those are nikes jordan's i don't know on the left nice
those are nikes jordan's i don't know on the left nice
oh death match i don't know if i made it though oh i did make it to the death match uh you make it
yeah this one is an easy one yeah oh i always draw the boomer food come on
drops come on oh yeah like right now i wish i could i could cheer or even like i don't know how
what the best best um way to do it is if it would just be like kind of like the twitter spaces
stuff if you could see the emotions just like by my little oh yeah by my picture just to see like clapping clapping clapping or yeah whatever oh damn it oh
oh dang it i wanted to click it i didn't realize that was a car on the right at first
that'll go for the moon for sure oh no way
oh these two guys i feel like they're gonna oh no
do you guys ever do you plan on having um
do you plan on having the ability to like search other people's profiles and stuff like a deeper
yeah as well the whole idea of of what we're doing is to connect people, right? Essentially, the kind of feeling you have when you play the game is kind of like those late night couch conversation with your friends, you know, just hang out. And so we want to bring that experience in the game.
in the game because it's just such a great way as like a conversation starter great way to
communicate with people as well like um but again those features are hard to implement
yeah yeah jeff actually i read it so long since i played that um for me it's like um
like doing it in this mode like this is so fast i could rack up a bill
not realizing it just like throwing money in here like we're you know someone just
likes five bucks like okay it's a big one they gotta get serious got a little bit of pressure
then okay pull it off and then it's like this one's only a dollar um you know i don't i really
don't think it's behind this time but it wasn't okay maybe that's pro tip
ah shit duane yeah i would go for him nice
that match dang it i thought i want to get an all outright win
oh damn this one's hard i'm not even in this one oh you guys went perfect
this one oh you guys went perfect i really like the idea of oh i do like that year is it you mama
did you win that or no oh no she didn't yes i can agora's
all right so where did this idea come from were you on the original team your co-founder obviously
so like you're part of the original idea here how did this come from like what was the what was the
um yeah oh there's a big one okay okay here we go okay go bigger. Let's see what's going on.
Is this in a whale chat?
Because you said $1 was the biggest, right?
But then you had whale groups that were created?
No, you have bigger.
You have bigger bet.
Basically, when you open a friend's room,
you set the betting amount.
So it can be anything.
You can go as big as you want
as long as people in the room follow i don't know man i still i don't know who's setting that price
i'm not setting it i did you set that price there yeah so i get so even though but i created the
link so shouldn't i have that power yeah but i think that because
you skipped it at some point this one's gonna be hard oh i got it on you okay damn dang it
they're both behind there oh crap oh god that's a hard one yeah that's close okay oh shit oh duh that's easy no you gotta go left right
how much did you win that's a big win okay but yeah to answer your your question red um
the idea behind this was very simple we were looking at prediction markets and our vision is that prediction market are like pretty
like battle-proofed, you know, only with the presidential election that reached
a big liquidity volume, it kind of like really emphasized and validated that. But our theory is that prediction market are very niche for two reasons.
The first one is that the topics are super serious.
You're going to do prediction around wars or like economic outcomes,
stuff like that.
And then it requires you as a user to be very skilled.
Like you basically have to know how to read a chart.
So we say that it's niche because essentially my dad or my friends would never get involved
into prediction markets.
So with GuessBest, what we're doing is that we're bringing prediction markets
to retail, to mass market.
We want to make prediction market a mass market product.
And so we're pretty much doing the opposite of Polymarket.
While Polymarket, most of the markets resolve in, let's say,
a few days to even a year.
We do instant resolution.
We focus on Kingian Beauty Contest as opposed to real world events, which is also super different.
And then our markets are just much more diverse and much more numerous like at the moment we have something like 35 000 markets live we plan on having a hundred k how do you call how do you quantify
a market a market yeah a market is a combination of two image so two image so each guest is a market for us nice okay so yeah so like good but you also
have it categorized into sub subsets right so like obviously sexual positions always get matched
against each other so oh man this is yeah we create categories just because um otherwise it
was kind of like it would be kind of like a mess.
But someday maybe we'll do a mix of categories.
At the moment, we're really focusing on having the widest range of topics,
bring more and more internet culture in the game,
and really just represent what's not on other prediction markets app.
Yeah, honestly, I do think the proximity of the images does,
like having them in categories is useful.
I don't know that I would like comparing a bad tattoo to a food item.
Like that's kind of weird.
I can't even conceptualize that in my head.
That wouldn't make sense either. Yeah. Right.
Hey, that's a nice PNL.
No, totally. I'm with you. But, uh, what we're really excited about is,
you know, like on Polymarket, only Polymarket can create markets.
But with this, we're going to give the power to users so that they generate content and get a revenue share for the market they create.
That's interesting.
OK, so like this is like a specific or a full category.
Like I can't come to the table with like a single market.
I have to come with like a category, right?
Yep, exactly. You don't have to come up with the whole category.
I'll give you a very practical example.
I'll show you too.
In the bad tattoos category,
I uploaded one picture of one of my best friends, terrible tattoo.
If I ever come across it in the game again, I'll send it to you.
But it's funny for me to participate in that way.
Another one I did was one of my friends crashed his car.
And I uploaded the picture of that crash.
And it's there.
It's live.
So there's just so much content that we hold on our phones,
and we want to make it super easy and super engaging for people.
And having them seeing their markets, like I have the thrill.
When I see the bad tattoo I uploaded or the car crash, I love it.
It makes it so much more personal so okay so question on that
um because now like when i think about these images i think about i i assumed it's trained
on what other people are are clicking on like what the aggregate choice is between the two images
it sounds like in your description there like if i were to upload two images i would upload them
and then like choose the outcome of the market.
I would say this one.
But is that true?
How does the actual ranking or the choice of what is corrected in the market come to be?
And how would that happen for someone uploading a market?
I mean, the whole upload side of things doesn't come across the resolution.
These are two separate things.
So the fact that you're uploading a market isn't going to have an impact
on whether that market is chosen, right?
But the idea is once you upload your choices, wow, why did I choose Biden?
Yeah, you make that choice
and you go, I know immediately I fucked up.
Fuck, Athena?
I picked Athena
because Athena is the good one
but Cardano is the popular one.
Yeah, you're right.
I didn't know Cardano
was really that popular. hard i know what i want
it's okay they win like every poll because they because of their their shit all right we need we
need gustavo to fuck up here oh for sure berlin no no come on istanbul is a great city
i want to go. I never have.
It's amazing.
I have no clue about this.
I'm just guessing.
You're going well.
But yeah, like we have our own resolution mechanism, but essentially we scrap a lot of data.
And also every time players are training, et cetera, we're gathering that
data as well. Okay. So a market can change over time. Oh, the market changes in real time. So
you might have the Cardano Athena thing today, Cardano one, but tomorrow Athena could win.
That was one of the questions I was going to ask because I've seen that.
It does change.
And what's super interesting is if you look at it on a demographics perspective,
as we're bringing different users, depending on their localization,
culture is different.
And so it impacts the game a lot.
it impacts the game a lot.
So during the bets, so like, you know how like,
clearly there's people that click the wrong bet.
So is that the data is getting taken too?
So the number of people that are getting that, that bet wrong,
it goes towards that one.
Is that how you're collecting the, the, the choices, right?
To change them or to.
So I guess.
That's how we.
Yes. to change on erda yeah yes i guess yeah that's how we could yes
as i said like if if you and i hammer the wrong choice all day like and everyone else does then eventually that'll eventually flip it to the right choice um yeah but essentially you'll be losing
money doing right of course yeah yeah so yeah yeah that's why we decided before we had a training mode
and you could essentially just warm up
before getting in the USDC arena.
But we decided to limit it
so that players are actually answering carefully.
And we've seen this working pretty well.
Oh, okay, okay, are you ready to breathe?
Okay, okay, here we're both wrong, we're both wrong,
we're good.
Was it for you?
Because I fucked it up.
You never go with the bad guy?
Well, it depends on the bad guy.
It depends. I agree.
But the bad guy of Harry Potter, usually they win.
People are obsessed with them.
Okay, so what's the split of the pot for this?
Is it winner take all?
Until now, that's what we had.
Winner takes it all.
But we just launched this feature where there's a revenue split.
The winner is always going to get the bigger part of the pot.
Of course.
But up to four players can win, actually.
Nice. So I see win, actually. Nice.
So I see 8, 10.
There's 10 of us playing.
Or no, 9 of us playing.
So it means, what is that, like 5%?
How much is being split?
Like, are going to the protocol?
How much is going to, like, the room owner?
What's the split here?
Because this was $9 thrown into the into the pot eight ten is available now so that means 90 cents is up for
dibs between like just like as a protocol right what are you guys doing with that so we use our
fees to also like feed the treasury to pay bigger payouts and also um when you create a breakdown of that 90 okay you're telling me
yeah yeah so when you're creating a room we actually do a fees revenue sharing so 50 of
our fees go to the room creator because he's essentially the person that makes the game happen
nice so yeah starting from yeah starting from six players, revenue split.
So the gap is quite big between the first and second player.
But as the money pot is bigger, then it still makes quite an impact.
You have a nice piano.
It's about consistency
and one giant pot.
And one giant pot.
I see a gore
on Twitter now.
What was your first impression when you played the game i'm i'm actually curious mine yeah oh big pot um all right let's do this guys um yeah so um i didn't know what to expect
i actually so my first actual interaction with it,
I wasn't even playing it.
It was Amir.
I was in ETH Denver and Amir sat down next to me.
You don't want to start off that way.
This guy just got a good face.
Oh, this one.
That's this one. I think I'm wrong though
yeah but I saw that I was at
Denver and Amir was playing it right next to me
and he was just like talking about it
it's kind of weird it's kind of like it's passive
like you don't even realize it you can just kind of hop on
and start playing it and you just like something to do in downtime
oh man we're getting
murked two people with a green streak man that was a bad run for me um so for me that was
the first interaction and the first thing observe observation was just like oh it's a smooth ux like
that's very it's very very clean right it feels like a good good interaction it's smooth like
simple it's understandable or whatever and it's like so
that was the first impression the second impression was the like philosophical like um
um what it is you're trying to even predict element of it right because it's like you first
start off with it and your first impression is like okay cool i know the game choose between two images and you go down the journey of
I'll pick the image that I want.
And then you go,
I want to choose the image that everyone else wants to choose.
So then you get into this like fucked up mental psychology aspect of it.
I shouldn't have showed you never choose raw meat.
Why would you choose raw meat?
Tartar is only popular in France I love it I but
I would never choose it for the global global populace okay that's my friend's tattoo to the it's that bad this one oh it's gotta be right
it gotta be the
what the fuck orangutan it's gotta be orangutan
yeah so like damn I got flipped
damn we're throwing out some money on this huh
racking up pretty decently
um so um we're throwing out some money on this, huh? And he starts racking up pretty decently. Um,
so, um, yeah. So the, the second thing is like the psychology aspect of it was like, okay,
I'm choosing social consensus that are like, I'm starting to choose the social consensus
that I think people will ultimately like for, which is like, okay, it's kind of a cool, like
trippy, like psychological thing that I'm playing with now and then uh once i got a hold of it myself i i started playing with
it like okay it's cool it's simple and like i could just the the speed of the game you're like
you said there you talk about the resolutions damn it the resolutions and how fast you can actually
do it and that uh that became apparent to me when i was like sitting down trying
to play like a mobile game or something i just had some down time i was trying to do something
and i pulled it up and i was like i can hop in and out of doing this stuff in like literally
30 seconds like it's basically nothing and i i didn't have that ability even with like the
passive mobile games fuck passive mobile games that other people are that i had been playing so
like that was really appealing to me and then the experience of like i got my
girlfriend next to me and like explaining it to her like i takes like
literally no explaining okay i was just like in the middle of a game and like i
could just like turn the phone and say choose one for me and then like she could
have just as good a chance as me frankly as picking the thing which i thought was kind of fun i could just put her
in that scenario really quick and she would be proficient at it um and then so that was that
just like it's a raw game thing the next thing for me why would i pick that why would i pick that um
the next oh i feel like I fucked that up too.
I went for the dimension.
Same. Okay, good.
I thought because they were kissing each other, it was kind of cute.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
They're going to go with a funny one?
No? This reminds me of your back piece.
They don't go with funny.
This is actually a cool one. It's not that bad.
Yeah, it's actually pretty decent.
Don't go tribal fuck tribal
i hate tribal tattoos too i know that's like 19 like 90. my brother has one i'm giving crap for it
oh man um so then but it's like okay that's cool that's like the product side that's but that's a
separate conversation from the um the if i was a builder and like my
thoughts on it as a builder thing and for that i was like okay it's kind of cool how do you build
up the actual like um profitability of something like this right it's like okay uh usually you
need to make sure that you have confidence or you instill confidence in people, right? So that they feel confident to bet and like, okay, so this is the place bet thing.
I think it's like rotate.
That's, that's just bounces around the room.
It's like if you miss it, it goes to someone else in the room.
That's kind of, okay.
There's a waiting room behind.
So players waiting to come in, for example.
That's pretty cool so then like if i
don't vote and i fall out for a little bit other people can step in yeah the idea is not to have
spectator like the whole point of guest best is also like we're not a we're not an app when you
just watch and do nothing every step you take you're taking an action and we want to preserve that you have to participate i go for cheese no way me too um and so yeah you were saying as a builder like the whole
profitability aspect yeah okay like so the flywheel right so it's like okay i want to
it's the same thing with um this one's to be tough and it might make her break me.
Don't fuck me.
I just went from a win to like sudden death with like 19 people.
How's your P&L?
That one went perfect.
Number two.
Um, so, so, okay.
So like profitability, right? because like poly market right it gains
so much volume and so much attraction especially towards like the the um political stuff that you
called out that right people think that they have an edge right they think they have they have the
ability to make money on something that gives them the confidence to come in and place money on it and
you know do whatever that's the same thing with anything any kind of trading anytime anytime you
put capital at risk it's because you think you have a chance to make more capital because you
have an edge you understand something going on vibes going on whatever right always and i was
skeptical of this is like there's no way for me to like meaningfully gain an edge here which is a is changes it from like a a pvp thing to just like a um passive thing
which i i don't know i don't know if it's good or bad yet uh i think it's good like as i sit here
and i'm like throwing a shit ton of money out and like because it i don't have an edge i also know
no one else can have an edge outside of just like how i feel about society so like that gives me the
confidence to go
in because i know i'm not going to get murked by some shadowy person that has you know whatever
i know it's top gun but i just love inglorious bastard so much i chose it
um so like that was like my back and forth like i i obviously you can hear like through like through
that process i went back and forth on how i felt about this shit whereas like first i was like skeptical it's like i can't get an edge so i'm
never gonna throw up a meaningful amount of money but here i am you know probably passing around a
couple hundred dollars worth already because it's just fun and i know no one else has an age it's
just like us kind of just like like sloshing shit around having a good time which is like just as
good if there's value in that that's a totally separate thing from like i'm playing this thing to make money as opposed to i'm playing this
thing to have fun and then also make money yeah we're leaning towards the fun and making money
yeah i like it from the content like when i first thought of it i was like this would be really good
for like live streams content creation yeah it's super streamable
i think that's the first message i sent you was about streaming yeah it was actually
i don't know how so like there's no love in this i think it's all because it's gen z people
i am um i think it's because it's gen z so like neither of the
old school games won no doodle jump didn't win and then the other one that we saw earlier i forgot
what it was but it also did not win yeah it's it can make some people like furious but uh one thing
that we envision and as we'll be onboarding more and more people. We also want to go more niche in the categories.
And so let's say you're like a big fan of like anime,
old school video games, and I don't know,
like American cinema, Hollywood.
Then you could be able to choose these categories
and you would be competing with people
that purposefully chose that category.
So it creates kind of a circle of expertise
where you get more and more close to the truth.
If you see what I mean.
Yeah, I was gonna ask that.
And even then, like it's still,
like I think that's the thing, right?
Even then, you still don't really have an edge outside of like repetition right like if i can memorize like everything i can have a good
but even i know it changes right but exactly but it changes over a longer time period so like if i
if i was grinding for a day just like over and over and over it did my best to like try to memorize
stuff i could probably have a pretty good peg of it like on a subset like let's say you do your thing and it's it's uh snes games
like old school shit um and i just keep playing the thing over and over and over i probably spent
a couple thousand dollars to like learn it but like eventually i can get to a point where i've
like memorized enough depending on how big the data set is well actually we're resetting odds after a certain threshold.
So when we reach an X amount of answers, we reset odds.
So we do that so that we don't have obvious patterns
and so that some players don't gain the answers.
Oof, Call of Duty?
It's got to be Call of Duty, right? Bowershock was good, but Call of Duty it's gotta be Call of Duty right
Bioshock was good but Call of Duty is more popular
I love Bioshock but yeah
everyone knows Call of Duty
I'm following Mava here
it's the left one
that's what you said
behind always wins
I think that's the alpha on those
but yeah that's why we we do it as well so our goal is to introduce many new markets as possible
as we're growing and to reset odds also randomly um so that you don't have that feeling of unfairness
as a new player our old players should not have an edge uh and like cannibalize on the
liquidity that your players bring and this is really important right right yeah i think that's
smart like and obviously try not to reveal like the um
when you're doing that stuff right so people don't know when they're going to reset exactly
that's why i didn't share more about it but all this we've been discussing with the community
taking the feedback it's been great to have onboarded a like a big new cohort for that
It's been great to have onboarded like a big new cohort for that.
And we can really balance out feedbacks between all players who still have a very valuable input.
Because what you're trying to achieve essentially is to retain people, right?
So we do listen to them a lot.
But at the same time, how we make how we make it keeps it fresh for them though
right like if i felt like i like like there's people that are purely money i'm gonna do it but
i'm gonna hate myself for this i already feel it yep i knew it perfect score i didn't have a chance
anyways um yeah like um it keeps it fresh for for those people that are long term
players too right because they just know
like they can never get too comfy
exactly it has to be
challenging as well
otherwise it's just
straight up too easy and boring
but like you've already mentioned it
the content is evergreen
like it's literally
what you could actually put in here.
Managing all that data is going to be
impressive at some point whenever you see
how much they...
I did the drag.
I initially clicked.
All right.
We love Temple Run.
Yeah, so managing the data, everything.
Yeah, it's going to be a shit ton, right?
That's going to be like, eventually,
you said you're at how many thousand markets right now?
We have more than 30,000.
And if we just look at the TX on MegaEath Testnet,
in just a couple
yeah in just like what
a week not even a week
like six days
oh I love Hagrid
we're going to showdown here
yeah so is it
literally like so talk to me about like
what's going on Jane here
so every choice that you make, every...
Oh, you got it.
All this is recorded on chain.
What we're trying to do is bring as much as possible on chain.
At the moment, these are the only two elements.
So the first element is obviously all choices are recorded.
And this is going to be also really important in order to bring transparency to our users,
and especially as stakes increase and more people come in, and it will become harder and harder to communicate what we're doing with people.
This is going to bring a big sense of transparency and trust.
The other thing is on-ramping and off-ramping.
At the moment, we're on Solana.
See, this one for me is difficult.
The lazy option.
Yeah. one for me is difficult nice with a lazy option yeah
berlin surprised me last time so i'm just gonna go with it i don't understand your obsession over berlin like what no i went against it last time and it damn it yeah it shifted i don't like berlin germany's okay but
like i went to like frankfurt and i got i was next to a hostel or like your drug den it sucked
oh geez i agree and it's way too cold for yeah okay i haven't i haven't passed that cap yeah
so um so okay so like you're putting this stuff on chain you're you're gonna do on-ramp off-ramp
stuff are you does that mean you're good the other thing is like the moment we do the uh ugc
user generated content we're essentially transforming our cards into NFTs, right?
So this is also the part that is really exciting with the possibility to bring on chain.
So what does that unlock for you guys?
Yeah, if you do NFTs, is there a specific use case you're thinking that comes from that?
do nfts like what like is there a specific use case you're thinking that comes from that we're
basically it's it's a kind of like it's a new asset class and that's in the sense that we're
financializing opinions which you cannot find outside of blockchain really i mean outside of
what we're doing really hmm web3 loves lisbon yeah and so does that mean that um you talk about like training that
we're training this on web 3 users right so it would have to be damn it's like bmb for solana
that's surprising to me that it goes to bmb yeah what dude i'm getting fucking murked
oh why did i go dude i got got clobbered there
um i was is making a shit of the money yeah right you're number three
stream snipers i'm starting to fall off a little bit yeah
i'm an embarrassment for my game i'm not even that good Number three. Stream sniping. I'm starting to fall off a little bit, yeah.
I'm an embarrassment for my game.
I'm not even that good.
You're letting us win.
Yeah, I was going to say,
it shows you're not cheating.
Honestly, guys, even if I wanted to, I could not.
Oh, Fight Club.
The rings.
Yeah, you're right.
For sure. I hope so. There's some, some yeah there's some people that choose fight club but like it's mostly nerds i guess one of my favorite
once i get two in a row i just like sometimes i just feel better if I just, if I just get them all wrong.
I did that.
It's perfect one way or the other.
The celebrity ones I never get.
Cause like.
You had to go Gen Z there.
I got this one in the bag.
Give it to me.
So yeah, our, our users right now are crypto native,
and that's who we're starting with.
But very soon, we're going to help our community onboard their friends,
because naturally that's what we all did.
Like everybody, exactly the example that you said, Brett,
like playing with your partner or all those situations.
Right now, the USDC part is kind of like blocking for that because, yeah, normies don't have wallets, don't have crypto.
But the first feature we're going to implement is A, allowing you to top up your friend's wallet.
Like very easy.
On the profile, you can copy the the address i'll
go for boobs yeah um boobs always win oh this one's tough old school or new school i'm going
i'm going new school i'm going new school school too. Yeah.
Oh, it's not a big like it.
I'm going to go against the alpha here.
So exotic sex positions are not a thing, by the way.
That was clear.
Two maxed out, though.
Now, I think you're going into the death match, right?
Yeah, two did.
I didn't make it.
Oh, well, that was short.
That was a quickie.
The video games are difficult.
But yeah, sorry, what I was saying.
We're going to allow you to do this just to smooth the onboarding.
And then you can settle um outside of the game
using venmo revolute whatever you like oh sick but we're already preparing for card payments
and so we're discussing changing um the currency to maybe an in-game currency to you know not
scare normies yeah well if you look like that's what Ton even does, right?
But that's for them to stay,
gotta be beer, right?
You gotta have a,
like that's what Ton does, right?
Or Telegram to have their apps
still be in the app store
and still have a currency on the front end
that, what?
Damn. They use stars so that their app can stay in the app store and they can transact with currency and it's redeemable for
usdc or whatever in the back end um boobs
no i didn't go for boobs. What? It wasn't boobs.
Hair over boobs.
That's the easiest pick in the game.
Oh, easy, yeah.
Eiffel Tower.
Damn, big one. Is it oh yeah he's a real gambler yeah i see his name like all the time
like everywhere his yeah it's hilarious it's oh wow oh round that's dead okay guys okay
are you ready focus i'm the only one that lost it
oh no oh yeah oh no
i'm the only one that's got one wrong fuck this
a bit embarrassing but i feel we're gonna join you soon oh no holy shit everyone is perfect
oh i'm so biased no there's so many people. How did everyone get that perfect?
No, I'm out.
We lost one
and we got out. How does that even happen?
Carpenter, we believe in you.
Represent the stream.
You got to go right.
The vintage car never wins.
I don't know which one.
Damn. The vintage corn never wins. Oh, shit. I don't know which one. Render. Slashia.
This pot's going to flip the leaderboard, I think.
Everyone locked in for this one.
Who do you think is going to win?
I mean, Noam or whatever's in there.
He just won a $40 pot, and he's getting ready to claim another one.
I think it's this dude. You guys can't see my hand that one to the left yeah i think this is
your rank yeah johnny yeah no no way johnny dad oh this is the elon one yeah that one's easy
these ones i don't i'm not good at see and like i like that it's
fast-paced enough that you feel like you start getting a little bit of an edge right like he
felt really confident yeah i'm like okay cool i got this one i earned this one this one's a free
pass for me but then like the next one just like fuck who knows 81 boys dude maria came in and
started fucking us up i'm down to five she's really good
i don't want to know what this is going to look like on my taxes but um it's it's fun anyways
i swear uh hey that pepe the oh no 10 other pepe the frog um meme sitting there with the little typewriter so first i voted on doing anal versus uh head and then i chose the bag of doritos over the
oh man oh i missed not the time for me to start fucking up
christmas tree ones are i'm i have no i have nothing
they're tough but there's some kind of logic i feel
i always go for like the one in the trash like whenever i see that one i have to go for 20. oh no oh that's what i did i think i think this stuff just skews new school so you gotta be
ready for that yeah okay now i get it cardano wins yeah i always picked against cardano because like
i seem like a joke chain or whatever not really joking but like that's like the meme on it against in some circles so
like yeah now i realize they have a cult following so yeah it's
i really didn't expect it but to be honest in my billing to the big pump of ada during uh
taintable market
20 double market
so this is so this isn't actually your pnl on there it's just your total amount one
right which is sorry that's so looking at the looking at the
the winnings at the end right it says i'm plus 70 something dollars oh yeah it's piano
is that true though because like i think i came in
i think it's the total amount i won but i could have spent more than that because i think my total
balance is actually down a little bit well let's check again at the i should have okay good yeah
fucked up that one um yeah french soccer is like um soccer teams are not uh easy right
yeah i mean it's just choosing your favorite logo for americans we have no idea that's Yeah, French soccer teams are not easy, right?
Yeah, I mean, it's just choosing your favorite logo for Americans. We have no idea.
NFL or anything.
Which might be a hack.
I mean, that's a...
You keep saying you don't like Berlin and you keep
choosing Berlin.
Oh, no, it's you.
Let's see.
Who's in? Oh, shit, I'm in.
You're holding us down this time.
Yeah, it's you in the...
I don't know, I forgot.
You broke your own rule.
I did, but but sometimes you know it feels good to choose the one you
would have chosen you know
okay who's placing the bets yeah it's like i try to like go one high one low one high one low
or at least go kind of like that this person is yeah it kind of like different people can place
beds yeah what does it must have got to be matrix right yeah i wanted to pick pulp fiction though
nice good start uh see like a meme versus a i guess they're both memes uh Nice. Good start.
See, like a meme versus a... I guess they're both memes.
I don't like the Patriots.
I can't click them.
I'll go for Patriots because it's more famous.
The Lions had a better season.
Distribution.
You got to go distribution.
You'd be surprised by
how popular Teslas are
among the community.
Yeah, they're all over the place
in Scandinavia.
I was going to lose that.
Brad, do you have a lot of cyber trucks where you are is there everywhere here
mob is holding it down um they're starting to spin up yeah like um it was uh i didn't see it
i didn't see a ton of them but as of late they're starting to crop up more and more
over in over in norway there was a sheet uh not cyber trucks just teslas in general
yeah we don't have a lot of them down here because i live in like the sticks but like
this last week when i've been driving up to the city there i didn't realize how many there were
of teslas and cyber trucks but cyber trucks are like there's so many in the us um but here in europe you would
not see any like i generally never cross any industry or yeah oh wow you get a lot of tesla
though just not cyber trucks tesla yeah for sure because also we have a lot of like European kind of like subsidiary,
like from the European union to buy green cards, green cards, sorry.
And so, yeah, there's a lot.
I love this meme.
Gotta be. I feel like that's one of the most...
Okay, I'll go with...
If it's too complicated, sometimes the other side wins.
Yeah, whenever you start seeing the commasuita shit.
I went for Harry Potter, but...
I was going to say, that one's deep because it's a meme, but it's Harry Potter.
So, like, Harry Potter
could win out
over whether it being your favorite
meme. Come on.
Underrated.
Yeah, 100%.
Oh, I made it.
Okay, come on, man.
Let's see if we can get it in.
Boobs. Sorry.
Shit, this is hard
wait ah boy what for the beer but does win okay yeah so it doesn't make its way back to me so All right. I'm setting the bet. Oh, let's go.
It still hasn't made its way back to me.
What do you want?
Oh, are you setting it right now?
Okay, let's go.
Oh, well, we have over 328 views.
We're watching eyeballs or whatever easy
mj oh fetters international man tennis but it's basketball okay yeah
the trees i'm never good with the trees it's such a funny one though
did you just know you won this one i got that one finally
it's what's easy shrimps yeah shrimps
yeah i was the only one that got that you can apply your own like crazy theory to this too it's like oh shrimps never lose like you gotta anytime you see a shrimp you gotta do it
oh reverse always gotta go
always gotta do whenever the girl's backwards that's it oh it's crazy
two people three people with streaks and two have got it damn
oh no okay okay no bias okay okay good
don't do inglorious yeah don't do inglorious no i did i'm sorry no i panicked god do that try helping you out look
inglorious has fucked me like three times already okay out of i love that movie i know it's so good
when you're seeing have you seen the one where he's the the tank the uh uh what is it fury
yeah we have furious yeah furious awesome i wish you that fury to the to the questions we
don't have it what was your you said that you have a scene that's your favorite no big one
yeah i just want to know who plays the bet but i'm pretty sure i know who it is but i think it's that one guy this dude over here on the right yeah all right that's lagging me out i didn't have a chance probably for the better though
oh you didn't get in yeah it's just spinning i'm waiting for the admin to place bet so it
saved me for myself here oh oh i don't know oh nice
Oh, I don't know.
I knew it.
I did not think I was going to get that one.
I picked him last time.
I should have picked him this time.
This guy in the first place has got it.
Oh, he got it wrong. We're in a death match. There's a death match. Okay, let's go. got it or oh he got it wrong we're in death match
there's a death match okay let's go i can't believe he got that wrong he had that in the bag
i'm a father i picked wrong i was like kids always get me
oh shit i don't know yeah oh you got it you and one other person okay okay okay well london i
don't know london more popular or pool yeah i'd say i would have went i wouldn't have known i
would have guessed it's for me oh nice okay first. Okay, we need to play this one again.
Okay, let's go big again.
It's really fun.
Who's the admin?
Is there like a thing that shows?
Like, do they have like a crown or something?
No, we should do that.
I would say that would be a good
quality of life thing.
Just shuffle it to see who's picking the bets.
There's light.
Are you out of this?
Yeah, I gotta go back and find the link.
Someone hit me with something, so I gotta respond real quick now that I have a little bit of downtime.
Okay, yeah.
Okay, goals or eagles?
I'm going eagles.
Where are you from, Lava?
I'm from Paris.
Nice. I would say that
French food
or not, sorry, not in French food.
France has the best food even
outside of their own cuisine.
So it's like the best Spanish
food I've ever had is in France.
The best Italian food I've ever had is in France.
You need to send me your
Spanish food address because I'm missing some of... I think Italian food is've ever had. You need to send me your Spanish food address because I'm
missing some. I think Italian
food is pretty decent.
Sushi is pretty decent too.
I mean, I guess like Paris,
London, all these places, you
kind of get good food.
The level is quite... Oh, I
love this there too.
And honestly, I haven't spent a shit ton of time in France.
I did a lot of backpacking through Europe.
And like I said, I lived in Norway for a while.
But it's just like the small amount of food that I did have while I was in Paris.
All of it was just top notch across cuisines.
What I like is that pretty much everywhere you go,
you're sure to have decent wine.
And this is quite important in our culture.
But where are you guys based, by the way?
Are you in New York, Brett, for example?
No, the team's in New York.
So I'm on the West Coast right now.
But like I said, I lived in Norway for four years.
I grew up in the Midwest.
I spent a couple of months backpacking throughout Asia and Europe the last couple of years.
I've been all over the place.
What about you, Carpenter?
I am Midwest, born like always.
Born and raised and lived throughout you you never moved from
there never well like i go and like travel and stuff but no like not actually like lifted roots
up because i've got like a farm here and stuff like farmland and like a timber and a mill and
all that fun stuff so i definitely got roots down um i was talking to brad before but like when we get a little bit the kids get older we're
gonna travel a lot more nice so it's just oh yeah it's just a mess yeah with kids i can imagine
yeah it's like it's just weird like whenever i go places that's not in the midwest it's like
we're so it's i feel like we miss out on a lot of stuff and just because we just have corn and cows
no come on a lot of people yeah but you do get like space nature and yeah yeah we're very outdoorsy
that's like my favorite he's a woodworker too.
He's got some...
He's a craftsman.
I really like it.
Oh, I thought that was...
This is SpongeBob. this is spongebob i don't even know what those are smarties
why do they look so funny
yeah it's a weird box
i think it's the excel version
this has been a long death match.
It's a good one.
Yeah, going through one of these is the reason I sent a DM
to the team earlier.
Because going through this, I was like, man,
I wish I could cheer it on.
I felt like I was a part of something with everyone.
It's like, go, go, go, go.
Like, yeah, I finally settled it.
Yeah, we'd love to implement this very soon.
Also, something we've been thinking of is kind of like a battle royale gameplay where you're playing in a league.
So you actually do rankings and shit?
Yeah, but also, let's say we're on the same team.
We would get the same screen.
Wait, is it over Cape Town?
Why did I do that?
Oh, so interesting.
So five people with the same screen, say three click on one image, two click on the other.
Majority is validated by the vote of the league.
And that's pretty fun.
This is cool because then it creates chaos within your league.
Yeah, yeah.
It creates chaos at another level.
It can be pretty fun.
Yeah, that's actually really cool.
I would go for lasagna. That's actually really cool.
I would go for lasagna.
You can never pass up on lasagna.
All right.
Well, this was fun yeah the fact that i was able to burn an hour and i now got to check my
actual numbers to see what i came away with because like i i finally forgot do you guys are
you guys gonna do like a pnl like page for profiles so like i could actually just go to
my profile and see like yeah that would be super cool.
We'll do an all-time kind of like P&L so that you can just check how much you want compared to how much you lost.
We made a lot of...
The thing is that in the past, since we launched, actually, we're kind of...
We're a bit crazy, right?
crazy, right?
We decided to launch on a Friday night.
We decided to launch on a Friday night.
Who does that?
Who does that?
I mean, we decided to completely change the game
during the launch, which also created a few bugs and everything.
But we were fine just solving them as we go.
It's fine.
But that's why right now we're like, OK, let's consolidate
this, make sure it's super smooth.
I'm very happy with the experience we've had so far.
We played an hour, no problem, no glitch, no nothing.
But it's really important that we bring that to users
before adding stuff that can have a chance to, yeah,
kind of the experience. yeah um yeah i think experience yeah i mean and just to be totally transparent i wasn't even aware
like the level the like the level of like i knew you had your solana component to it i didn't know
you guys were like going live live like i guess because i was always looking through through the
lens of like our stuff was like okay i'm testing we're going to figure this stuff out whatever
you guys are going through the launch right now it's like you guys are actually handling this shit and trying
to come to market it's like it's a different it's a different product or like the lens is different
in that sense so it actually changes how i perceive this yeah totally um it's it's been really
honestly it's been great like we we've had some sleepless nights, but it's been really, really cool to put the product
How are your user numbers?
More users. At the moment, we have 14,000 users. Yeah.
Oh, nice. Okay.
Really good.
Yeah, not bad. But I mean, for us, we're just starting now.
We still have a gate.
We're going to remove the gate very soon to really let more people in.
Yeah, okay.
So, yeah, this actually changes so much, like the realizing now where you guys are actually adding this versus, again, where I was perceiving it, which was just the test nut thing.
Changes the energy on your guys' side. Like that's exciting.
It is. It is. It is. Like it's, it's very cool.
How long have you been cooking? How'd you meet your co-founders?
What's the.
So the story behind.
So Kunda and I have been working together for the past four years in the crypto space.
We previously...
Wow, okay.
So, sorry.
So hard to think.
No, I get it.
No, because we do have a lot of Eastern European players.
So, like, yeah, for sure Ronaldo.
So, yeah, actually with Kunda and Bain, we had a previous crypto project together, completely different.
We were in the lending space RWA, and we took the same founding team and started guest best together
and what's really yeah on that i so when i started going through twitter and i followed you guys as
we started doing this shit i saw the like old chats popping up and i said yeah like i had like
a dm from like kunda in like July of last year. It's
like, Hey man, like, yeah, talking about the, I guess it was the RWA project. It's like, just
changed a little bit, huh? Like, sorry, I missed it. The story of guest best is so funny because
like we were at the office, like chilling and discussing polymarket kind of stuff.
like chilling and discussing polymarket kind of stuff.
And then we had the idea of guest best.
And from the moment we had the idea to the first version of the product,
but also the first version of the product in the hand of users,
less than 24 hours.
So, and every time we're like, okay, we just try it out.
If it works, we keep going.
If not, we stop. And we kept pushing and pushing back this
and in the end we yeah i think i guess the key was to put the product in the hand of users from day
one and getting that feedback was the initial feedback you got like how did it feel like what
what was the thing that that you saw there that said this is the thing we need to bet on
i think it was the simplicity like the universe cell um potential of the game
that was something that was really attractive to us because
we we onboarded our first users were our family our friends, and we saw them engage with it.
And we're like, wait, if we can crack
that level of engagement with such a shit UX,
like it was really terrible.
If we do it well, we can really win.
Come on, Clooney.
Yeah. I was going Clooney. Yeah.
I was going with the young guy.
I thought Gen Z would come through for me.
You never even die young.
The Bears over Cowboys?
Oh, I went old.
Yeah, I feel like friends is like a
generational defining thing yeah i gotta be better
who's in the death match not me not me just you
well much would be true or paris paris paris okay see i would have it's iconic eiffel tower's iconic
oh kill bill tell me no i would have done kill bill there i don't know that's where i would have
i would have too i guess tarantino is not very popular anymore okay so the the candies yeah i
think i saw somewhere you said like one dollars
worth 100 candies does that mean my bet like i put in ten dollars i get 100 candies was that just a
meme no no it was just like the kind of like deposit competition type yeah i'm coming for
this next round i think i got cheated a little bit the last one that's fine i'm gonna make it
up in this next one i I'm going to win.
I'm waiting for you.
I need to see you on the leaderboard.
I think you were there, right?
That's to say I was number one last time.
I thought I hit it right before the cutoff,
but apparently I missed the window by like two seconds or something.
A lot of people came in right before the end.
Orchid's one. Needle for it. for the end nice orchids one
nice so if you don't pick it randomly chooses for you it does but randomly yeah yeah okay and say because like i had noticed that i had always won on those like the two or three times that it happened so i was like is my shit broken it's like i'm automatically winning do i
have a cheat code here nope it's just uh random and i got lucky you see the first dream i ever
did it kind of did that uh for a couple in a row and the first like there's a couple people
watching they were like you're just it's just streaming the cheat code. Just streaming it all.
Pick the right one.
But then the next one, like, I got it wrong.
I was like, I'll just not touch it.
I got it wrong.
Let's see if we all go on the same journey at some point.
Dimitri's crushing.
All right.
Should we do the last one?
Yeah, let's lock it in.
Let's do it.
I'm not even putting the...
Whoever's listening, you got admin.
Go big or go home from...
Let's see.
I guess the admin is thinking...
They did it.
They did it.
All right.
120 bucks.
See, I'm going with this because it looks more like my mullet.
There we go.
You're always.
Oh, I have to go with my Vikings.
I'm a huge Vikings.
Vikings, right?
Don't tell me you guys are going to sweep this.
Oh. Panda. Panda. Panda. Panda. Panda. Panda. Panda. are going to sweep this. Aww.
I need you guys to fuck up here, Maba.
Let's think.
She won it. it got it she got it oh and like nine of us got lost one
yo damn okay wait one last one
oh she's got yeah she's got the bug i don't know who did that one
okay let's go big again last one are you controlling it no i'm hoping someone is listening
i think it's rotating admins 10 let's go a 10 what's the do you guys have any info on like
what the biggest uh single pot has been oh yeah this will just continue to scale up right yeah i mean we've done 100 bets per person
and um and actually we're releasing now um so i don't know yeah because one's cute the other
one's like the the good good guy right exactly oh bring him out i have to vote kill bill
i saw kill bill lose damn it
good character easy oh no
dark soul league of legends dark soul is kind of niche though. I think it's got to be
None of us.
We're too bad.
Are you saying the biggest pot?
Yeah. So one thing that we're releasing
soon, actually this week
i'm working on it um with agora's by the way we're working on a whales mode so basically you will
have a whale portal and that's going to be for the guys that just want to bet big amounts and
compete so there's a leaderboard there's a chat. We're going to make it interesting for Wells.
I think the important thing is to like, or not important thing.
It's just like something I'm thinking of because I'm a whatever.
It's like the ability to share and flex and like, like take,
take the outcome outside of, outside of guests.
So we have a share on X that we used to have
on the online mode.
We're now bringing it to nice.
Would you, I think Carpenter, you're, yeah, you're on.
Oh yeah, I forgot that was our last one.
I don't know why I kicked it.
Yeah, so the share on X is coming tomorrow actually.
We tried to ship it for tonight,
but it was just a lot on the dev side.
We have really cool designs. We're trying to bring something different, A, in the crypto space,
in terms of brand identity, but also in general. The idea of guess best is kind of like,
Like the idea of guest best is kind of like if you know how to guess best,
you're cool, you know?
And so we're bringing that kind of like cool kid energy.
We're bringing in characters.
We want you to be able to associate two characters depending on your betting
So, yeah, there's a lot of like cool little stuff coming up.
We're working also on like videos, stuff to kind of like share the values. So yeah, there's a lot of cool little stuff coming up.
We're working also on videos, stuff
to kind of share the vibe.
But I'm with you.
In-game, you will have the opportunity to flex your games.
Nice, nice.
Yeah, I think that'll be pretty cool.
I was very happy to do this stream with you guys.
First time I stream.
Yeah, it's probably pretty late for you though, isn't it?
No, it's fine.
It's like 10 p.m.
No, it's not too bad.
No, it's not.
Usually at this time I'm at the office, but I decided to do this from home in order to
avoid the chaos of the office.
Yeah, yeah.
That's cool.
Likewise, thanks for having me on Carpenterenter this is a lot of fun and like uh like it's pretty cool like passively like i would like
to see like the volume the volume of that room right so we could say like we were just like
sitting there chatting like yeah it's kind of distracting but it's not too distracting to where
like you can't do anything so able to progress and passively spend a couple hundred thousands of dollars
while we're all just hanging out, having a thing.
And like, yeah, it's been an hour and a half.
Hey, that was that one really quickly.
It went really fast.
It was a lot of fun.
I love that.
We'll make that experience even better.
Let's coordinate another one.
So whenever you, whenever you get some time,
you said you're going to be doing this pretty consistently. Yeah. Yeah. yeah. We should coordinate another one. So whenever you get some time, you said you're going to be doing this pretty consistently?
Maybe we'll invite special guests
or get the community in Megath
to get involved as well.
Yeah, that's what I was like.
Yeah, I would like to make it a little more formal
next time and have a community event where like,
hey, you guys want to come play and actually formally announce it,
announce it in the Discord, have people line up for it.
Because we do games and shit already, right?
There's already Discord games where everyone hops on
and plays cards and shit.
Now I'm actually going to go to our mods and say,
hey, you guys should set up weekly guest best games.
Do it for an hour, hang out, chat, play guest best. Yeah, do it for an hour hang out chat play guest best like
yeah it's a good idea i'm gonna i'm gonna sing soon with uh he's in bra and
look at some specific like special mega content yeah he said we're gonna i've been pushing for
that because i really want that um yeah i was like i forwarded like three times like guys i
want this pack i wanted it last weekend i was like i want this fucking pack made. Let's make this pack, start
talking to the Discord, start spinning it up.
I think I'm going to be on that call, too.
Cool. Okay, we're going to
sing on this then, I think, early
next week.
Cool. Nice.
All right. Thanks for having us, Carp.
Yep. See you later.
See you soon.
