Drop it hard, let's break the core.
Boom, boom, boom.
Take a step.
Mark, check your telegram.
Feel the sound.
No, keep the music going.
I'm trying to coordinate with Mark.
Feel the heat. Pressure. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. the rush now it's time to turn it up In my life, in my mind, I create these stories all the time
Painting pictures of a world so bright, but I'm still standing in the dark
Lately nothing's the same, there's a voice that's whispering my name
Would you be proud if you saw me now?
Wish you were here somehow
But he's not you
He's not you
He will never be you
Photographs, memories fade
All the dreams we had but never made
All the words I long to say out loud
But I keep them locked inside
Winter comes once again
In the snow I trace the steps I've made
Wondering if I'll ever feel at home
When I have everything
But he's not you
he's not you he will never be you Oh Yeah
He will never be you
When the lights don't feel the vibe Bases pump and take you high
Let's get lost inside the sound
No regrets, just let it out
Alright, alright, let's kick it off, that's good, let's kick it off Alright, welcome everybody No regrets, just let it out. thank you guys for remembering that they're going to stay this time for the next two months so um
and uh yeah so anyway welcome everybody another beautiful saturday hope you guys had a good week
um uh yeah kind of crazy times in the world i'm in bangkok right now and you guys probably saw
heard about that earthquake that was really fun i was up 34 and then i was
actually talking to mark at the time and uh my building just started shaking like swaying shaking
and swaying side to side that was really fun um there's nothing really you can do when you're on
34 right kind of kind of just uh hope for the best. And then watching the building across from me sway too is really,
really exciting.
Just like got my adrenaline pump.
So yeah, everyone here in Bangkok is a little bit shell shock from that
experience, but luckily nothing really happened.
Just a minor, minor damage.
So God bless.
Anyway, hope you guys are doing well.
Hope you guys had a good week and uh you know
making getting ahead step by step every day so yeah without further ado uh again welcome
everybody let's talk about let's kick things off with kind of uh some some of the latest news uh
or recent events anyone got anything good besides the the earthquake
yeah yeah go for it little less yeah what's up Tommy sorry if my service is a little spotty
I'm driving but uh I don't know if it's really in relation to crypto I guess it kind of does apply but um I don't know all over the timeline I was seeing people use this
new chat GPT update for con you know and just generating these crazy AI images so I went ahead
and got it and uh dude I'm telling you whether it's an NFT brand whether it's a token um kind
of a game changer as far as like just individuals making content.
You know, I'm pumping out graphics that, you know, typically you'd have to hire some, you know, some expert in the, you know, expert artist to do.
So very cool.
I think this has definitely changed the game when it comes to content creation.
So again, not maybe not really too crypto related, but I think
you're going to see it directly affect a lot of builders in this space. So just wanted to
throw that out there. That is very crypto related. Thanks for bringing that up. Yeah, indeed. I mean,
AI is just what a game changer, you guys. What a game changer. That is a whole conversation we
have on it. And probably we'll talk about that a bit in the space, but man, I don't know if you guys
are using AI extensively. If you are not, you should be, I'll tell you one thing that I do.
Um, whenever I'm consulting, I consult chat GPT and Claude, both Claude is my second favorite one.
Actually, excuse me. They're both my, they're like, they're, they're both kind of better different things. Uh, so those are my top two, Chad, GPT, and Claude.
Claude is like actually really good at like any sort of legal writing or anything. Very, very
strong. Um, but I liked, I, I look at them kind of like having two eyes, you know, like you run
things through, run things through like one filter and then you take the same set of questions and
run it through another filter and between the two. and then you can see like do they agree are
they saying something different if sometimes say something different and you're like okay let me uh
that means you got to zoom into it and then you get better clarity but yeah you know thanks for
bringing that up like graphic design uh website design just uh and even even this is a big one you guys mentorship you know I mean previously
if you guys wanted to have a mentor you'd have to go through the world and try to find someone you
trust and I had a mentor and you know no longer because AI is actually a better mentor you know
honestly you know seriously guys if you guys you it anything, if you guys are not using these tools extensively, you are at a major disadvantage.
So I highly recommend picking up what most people probably have ChatGPT, but pick up Claude as well, too, or some secondary one to weigh against.
to weigh against. Yeah, tell us a little more what you're doing with it. I want to hear.
Yeah, tell us a little more what you're doing with it.
I want to hear.
Well, just for instance, you know, we're working with a 3D artist and, you know,
the work that we're having done is a little bit different just because, like, you know,
with our little lettuce monsters, they're all, like, fully rigged and game ready.
So AI, I don't believe, can do that yet. So we don't regret, you know, we don't regret doing
the art. But as far as, like, you know, individual graphics, I mean, not to shill too hard, but I guess look on our timeline.
You know, last night I just typed in like, take the graphic or take the character in this graphic and put them on a roller coaster.
And that's our that was our good morning post.
And I'm just like, I could never dream of drawing something like that up, you know? So, again, it just kind of takes that, you know, that ability to, you know, create content yourself.
Someone like me who has no experience and no talent in that field can just, you know, type a little prompt.
So, again, I think you're going to see a lot of collections pop up out of nowhere.
I think this is going to also kind of invite
like some bad actors into the space
because I think anyone and their mother
is gonna think they can drop a collection
because they can speak into an app.
So just something to look out for.
But again, I'm just kind of impressed
at the whole thing.
I know this technology has kind of been around,
but just to have it so accessible to everyone right now um you know you don't have to go to some crazy
site and then you know um i don't know it's it's kind of just at your fingertips so it's very cool
very uh interested to see kind of where this goes again this is just the latest chat gpt so you know
ai is just evolving so it is kind of crazy to think of like
what this is going to look like a year from now or even six months down the road so but you know
i'm here for it man i was going to say the same thing what is it what does it look like a year
from now two years five years what does that look like because because time moves you know a couple
years past past few years i feel like is you know it's come and gone pretty quick. But in that time, we went from a really...
I started using AI, probably like most of you guys, probably about two years ago.
And man, now it's just like, how do you go back from not using it?
It's like one of those massive game changers, massive.
I think this is like a bigger game changer than say even like the iphone coming
out or stuff like that this is probably one of the biggest game changers i have certainly seen
in my life so yeah again if you guys aren't uh exploring those tools we can talk about uh agents
too but you know this is one thing uh i know mark really loves but you know ai agents are kind of
imagine them kind of like you're hiring someone.
You're hiring someone to do a specific job, and you just have them, like, routinely do that job over and over again, and they just do it really well.
But you're not managing a person anymore.
You're just managing an agent, which you basically taught that agent how to do the job and just keeps doing it forever.
So, yeah, that's where the so so these
smaller groups like smaller companies you don't need a huge company anymore it's actually you
just want to have like really smart people around you and those people using ai effectively and can
leverage their power so much like i don't even know how many times 10 times 100 times thousand times so 100
glad you brought it up yeah certainly you know that's that's kind of what i've been dialed into
but uh you know also i one of the first things i've created i will say was a awesome you know
3d rendition of my uh my gummy invasions, one of one NFT.
I know Foxen was excited to see that.
But yeah, dude, I, you know, and also, you know, not only for the brands, but like community members.
I encourage you guys, you know, if you're rocking with a brand and trying to promote, you know, help your,
even if you're not like a community manager or something, you just, you know, hold the project and you want to, you build make those graphics you know i've got community members sending me you know content that is far superior than what i you know was putting out it's just
awesome you know what i mean it's you know and and me being a founder of my own brand like yeah
i like to surprise and some of my group chats be like hey what do you guys think of this gummy
invasions hey what do you guys think of this whoopsie you know just throwing out uh and and i guarantee you that everyone in chat loves those kind of loves those
kind of custom images because before when i would pay people again no shade to artists still pay your
artists but when i would pay people to do art for me and i would drop that art in the chat of like
my nft uh everyone loved to see that so you know you're not i like
to think no one's annoying people with this everyone's excited to see the new renditions
on the timeline and in the chats well said yeah go for it queen hey guys i just wanted to get in
the conversation and say just how much ai has had an impact on my life and everything that i do daily
i mean there's not a post that that write that I don't, you know,
proofread with the chat GPT or Grok or try to make it a little bit better
and more engaging.
And the art, oh, my goodness, it's just crazy what you can do.
I've got this AI app that I can, like, train the model,
and then the images are consistent.
You know, if you're working with a project and you want everything to be kind of streamlined and and symmetric that's
really been cool and one project I'm in even has um it's called a flu spot and it's um you know
someone trains it and then all the community members can just come in the telegram and just
recreate that art you know just put in a simple simple prompt and spit out that image and use it all over social media. So it's really come a long way, this AI art in particular, but I was excited
this week. I've been super busy working, you know, in the real world, but I've been trying to keep up
with the news as best I can. And that one thing that I thought was pretty interesting that broke
last night was XAI bought the X platform in a big deal.
And so I'm listening to a few spaces last night trying to figure out, you know, what exactly that entails.
But I think some exciting stuff for AI and how it's integrating into the algorithm with X.
Yeah, I saw that. That was that was kind of crazy.
XAI. Yeah, just just casually bought x right
yeah just for a few peanuts
yeah super crazy but yeah rock has taken over the world it's
for real i wonder you know i think ai is gonna have a huge role you know in the next nft surge
one way or another so yeah for between uh the art stuff
too i think uh honestly i love how it's opened the door for art because if you're a good you
can have a good artist mind but like not have the training you know with your hand or whatever
but with uh with the ai stuff if you're you know if you're good at bringing your vision to life and stay with it long enough and learn how to use the
tools, you can be really a top-tier artist. And I think we're going to see a lot more of that in
the coming years, which I really like. Yeah, just the productivity that it brings with art. I mean,
it would take you hours to days to create a piece before by hand or to illustrate or animate it by
hand. And now you can just pop out multiple
images in minutes. And still there's a place for that hand-drawn art and that 3D animation. But
just for the folks that aren't as skilled and don't have that tech savviness, this has been
a game changer for us to be able to get out there and help on socials.
What's that meme called?
Is that how you say it? I don't know how to say it.
the meme that went around.
I'm not exactly sure.
I haven't used it yet.
I think it's the paid rock version,
which I don't have,
but I've been seeing it all over the timeline.
That was absurd.
It was like every meme you could think of,
like turn,
turn into that.
it speaks to a. It's a really cool can think of, like, turn into that. You know, it speaks to...
It's a really cool art style, too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally.
Well, again, I think these things are just going to continue to pick up.
What do you think about it, Eric?
You played around with these yet?
I have pretty extensively, actually.
I was going to jump in here in a second
but no using these using this technology has saved me probably six months in building time
with gummy invasions it's probably about to date about fifteen thousand dollars that i would have
to hire out we're working on a chain bridge portal, which the original founders were trying to accomplish with the dev and they spent like $50,000 and you know how dev time, you know,
that could take years before they even get to it.
And I just don't have that time.
I'm ready to build.
I'm ready to move this forward.
So I started employing these bots and oh my gosh, I've completed 80% of the work basically
for free that costs them 50,000 and two years. So just to put it in perspective, like Tommy, I'll completed 80% of the work basically for free that cost them $50,000 and two years.
So just to put it in perspective, like, Tommy, I'll reiterate what you said.
If you're not using this technology, you are at a severe disadvantage.
I was talking to Jacqueline Mars at a horse show in Paso Robles.
And, yes, that's the Mars bar gal.
And she said, no, we need to start using AI because we're at a severe disadvantage and these smaller confection companies will start kind of taking the space over simply because they can just do more things with less people than they can.
So just put it in perspective.
And I will say this.
That's actually good.
Sorry, go ahead.
No, you go for it.
The one severe disadvantage and the only cap for AI is power.
It is the most power-hungry thing on the planet.
So just kind of keep that.
So if you're investing, not investment advice, I'd be investing in power platforms.
Speaking of power, do you guys see that stuff under the pyramids?
Dude, I always thought the pyramids was a was a power thing you know i thought i thought it was a for wireless electricity that
was my thinking for the past years and seeing those things underneath they look like these coils
like big electric you know conducting coils you guys see that yeah is that real they go down a
long way that's. That's crazy.
How did we never discover that till now?
You know, like, did they use AI?
Somebody asked AI, yeah.
That's hilarious.
Hey, AI, is there something on the pyramids?
Well, actually.
Yeah, if you just dig down 500 feet, you'll find them.
Hey, a couple other topics, Tommy.
I don't know if we want to change subjects, but it seems like everyone and their brother is launching a stable coin this week.
Trying to keep up, it's been impossible.
But World Liberty definitely is launching one.
I think the Wyoming state plans to issue their own stable coin by July.
So it's kind of crazy out there.
Some FDIC crypto restrictions
being eased for banks. And yeah, just the world is changing definitely with the regulatory landscape,
isn't it? Yeah. And great, great point. And if you guys have seen that chart of, you know,
stable coins too, the market feels rough right now, but you know, the stable coins are,
yeah, they're, they're, they're ticking up. Um, yeah, it is, uh, kind of a, kind of a crazy time in the world. I mean, it's, it's weird cause, cause crypto, I feel like this is one of those
opportune times, you know, or like ETH is really undervalued in my opinion right now. Um, and,
uh, I mean, Bitcoin's done well, Sol's done decent. ETH is surprising,
but ETH is a reflection too of the whole state of the market because if ETH is struggling,
well, that's why anything with a smaller cap than ETH's also probably struggling.
But again, I do logarithmic regression charts and fair valu valuations. And, you know, it's clocking ETH and a fair value of eight grand right now, which is nuts.
So two grand is like severely undervalued.
And, you know, Bitcoin's around a fair value based on those.
But, you know, I guess it is what it is.
Whatever weird kind of weird time in the world.
But yeah, lots of subjects we hit here. Queen, tell me some of the other subjects. Let's throw them all out there and we'll like just go down whatever branch we want.
Yeah, I think one that surprised me yesterday was the SEC violations being lifted for several of the folks that have been convicted in criminal behavior. In fact, the Hawk Tua. Did you see that one?
The SEC is not going to know.
I did see that.
Hey, wasn't that Hayden?
No, it wasn't Hayden.
It was another dude who had a hand in that, right?
Siliami or Salami.
I can't remember who the name of that one is, but he's a serial rugger, I guess.
and I don't know if she was taken advantage of or if she had more insight.
And I don't know if she was taken advantage of or if she had more insight.
I don't see her being a super savvy crypto investor,
you know, just coming from the TikTok world.
But definitely they lifted those SEC violations against her
and not going to press any charges.
And so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
I guess, you know, you learn your lesson if you did invest in that.
You know, maybe that's a big
red flag not to do that again. But I do hope somebody is held responsible for the loss of
investor money on that. It's sad to see. Yeah, I wonder if they're going to hold the other guys
responsible because, man, I really hope the space matures past that because that's, I mean, the reason why so much of the space, especially meme coins are hammered right now is because the liquidity got extracted.
It sucked all the money out of the crypto players and went in the hands of value extractors who don't give a damn about us.
And man, if the space doesn't learn from this situation and I just don't want to go through that again.
I'm sure you guys are all on the same page with that.
What a, it's like an apocalypse.
It definitely is.
You know, it still is.
It is, but you know, I'm seeing the tide turning on, especially in X against the crazy casino that was going on.
I'm seeing a lot of posts now that are supportive of, you know, not getting involved in that gambling mentality where at first it was all you know everybody was all in and so i'm
really really glad to see that i think it was you know everybody has
got max extracted enough to finally say enough is enough
man i hope so i really hope so let's hope. You never know what's around the corner of crypto.
I wouldn't be surprised if somehow we get a worse crime meta,
because I really feel like the trajectory is crime seems to continue to get worse
until one day people will demand a solution.
But, you know, so far it's just continued to get worse.
So I guess we'll see. I hope not.
I hope not either, but crime season seems to persist.
We'll see how that goes.
And then the last thing I was just going to mention is GameStop announced they were going
to adopt Bitcoin as a treasury asset this week.
So I saw GameStop stock run up and then it just dropped back down as always.
So that was kind of crazy to see more and more companies adopting Bitcoin.
Yeah, good ones.
Queen, thank you for bringing these.
By the way, if you guys have good subjects like this,
please bring them on through just like Queen did.
So great subjects.
Yeah, a lot of stuff we can talk about today.
The GameStop thing I actually really like
because what they do is when the stock goes up,
the powers that be kind of push them like hey
we'll issue shares and raise money to like kind of so they so they're selling you know they're
basically minting gme stock and selling it on the people kind of like killing the pumps so however
if they use that money to buy bitcoin i like that i really like that. So, yeah, it's weird.
The stock crashed after that.
I think it seems kind of like manipulation to me.
But, yeah, I actually think it was a really good move for them.
Yeah, definitely always a lot of manipulation around GameStop
for the short sellers and the folks that are wanting it to squeeze.
So it's really volatile and hard to predict.
By the way, I noticed there's two people
who have my Dragon PFP in the audience.
So I'm flattered.
Thank you guys.
We are one day going to have a portal
where you can customize your Dragon
so you can make a custom Dragon.
So that day is coming.
Stay tuned.
So thank you guys for your support dragon dgens
um let's see all right yeah what else guys we got we got an open field here you guys just pull up
your uh choose your best your favorite gun and take a shot whoever wants to come in here whatever
you want to talk about let's talk about it.
You said open field, huh?
That's kind of where we thrive.
That's kind of our place.
It was a subtle cue.
No, you know, I appreciate being up on stage, but I am very worried. I'm just driving through this area where I always leave service,
blue service, and I'm kind of excited. I haven't yet, but it's inevitable. So I'm just going to
listen until I, you know, I know I won't be robot mode for sure. If you hear me sound like a robot,
the AI that I'm speaking of is not taking me over. I haven't been possessed by it. It's just
a very weak signal. So I just don't want to concern anyone.
Thank you for that. I was about to ask you, so I appreciate that. We'll keep that in mind.
Hey, how about China? They're turning on the first world's first fusion fission power plant.
It's almost two times more powerful than a nuclear power plant.
I did not hear about that.
That's pretty cool.
Yeah, well, it ties into the AI.
They're trying to power AI and try to be a level above us.
We don't have a fusion power plant yet, do we?
They created the first one in the world.
There's only one in existence.
That's too bad we probably got to get doge in there to clean up our stuff a little more did you guys hear by the way i don't know if you guys heard that when they want to fire government
employees they have to get their records from a from a limestone mine did you guys hear about that
so they can only fire like 10 000 people per month because the limiting factor is how fast the elevator moves you guys hear that that's not surprising at all
some sometimes we're just back in the stone ages that is the most absurd thing i thought i thought
that was at first i thought it was a joke when i saw that and then i was like and then i was like
oh no no i get it it's just the government being retarded. I'm just really good. So I think that's what's going on. It's just like an intent, an intent, an intent way of just being as wasteful
as possible. You know, I don't know. How much money we spent on that is probably where we'd
all be sick to hear. Man, I will tell you guys something. I'm here in Thailand right now. And
if I want to go to see a doctor, any specialist I want to, I can go see them same day or next day. We have a lot to fix in the States. We have a lot to fix there. Like our whole healthcare system is, uh, is disastrous. Anyway, that's another conversation, I suppose, but it does tie to the, uh, the matter of government waste and how come we don't have fusion power.
to the matter of government waste and how come we don't have fusion power.
Did you guys see our high-speed rail in California that we spent like $50 billion on,
the three-fourths of a mile we got?
Or maybe it was like a fourth of a mile.
I can't remember.
Did you guys see that thing?
Yeah, I did.
And I've actually been on that portion of the track.
It's ridiculous.
They should have used AI.
They could have saved a whole bunch of money.
Man, well, we could talk about problems all day, I suppose.
But yeah, AI is definitely the ultimate solution.
Yeah, one thing you were saying earlier, by the way, Eric, in regard to companies and
using AI, a lot of companies have a lot of manpower, a lot of manpower, you know, sometimes thousands of
people for doing a job and AI comes and does what everyone's doing there for far, far less.
And what happens is because they are so much more efficient, they would bring the cost down
and then those other companies won't be able to compete those low costs and they will go belly
up. So major disruptor to kind of big zombie-ish companies.
I don't know if you could do it for the government because that'd be really nice,
but certainly zombie companies are going to get really, yeah,
I think it's going to cause a lot of companies that don't adapt to the new environment.
And they're going to have a hard time too, man.
Those mature companies have been around around they're typically slow moving you know what what are the industries you guys know
what are the industries that are going to get disrupted the first that already are
confection well i could just speak from experience the confection but i'm sure there's plenty of what go ahead green yeah i think it like marketing you know the socials right now you can you can
create an ai bot that can pretty much take over your socials that's um pretty interesting to see
i think that one of the last ones and maybe you guys can brainstorm you know how this might work
but um but construction you know to see ai work I work in those remote areas where people are, you know, getting down and dirty is hard for me to imagine.
I'm sure robotics will take over to some extent. But yeah, it's a lot of a lot of tech is definitely going to get disrupted.
But, you know, when we first started talking about this in spaces, I don't know, a couple of years ago, everybody was against it.
I mean, it was like a taboo subject but now you see
so many spaces and everybody being more open to ai as they get more comfortable with it so
i can only imagine in the next couple years how fast it's going to take off
do you guys see that chart where it was like the adoption of ai was faster than the internet it's
already like 40 after two three years you guys see that yeah it's amazing
i feel like everyone's using chat gpt or at least most of us here already that's probably just
going to accelerate yeah just just one example when i went um to amsterdam i you know asked grok
the voice grok um you know to help me plan my trip. And in
minutes, it shot out a full itinerary everywhere I wanted to stop, if I wanted to get a certain,
you know, cuisine that was native to the area, what I needed to pay for certain tickets, where
to go for those tickets. It was just crazy. It would have taken me hours, days to plan that out
with a, you know, the dummy's guide to Amsterdam, which is what I typically do. So yeah, Grok is super powerful and, you know, it pulls
that real-time info from Twitter. So yeah, definitely, if you're not using that for sure,
check it out for your trips.
Yeah, I just actually asked ChatJPT. I said, what?
Which industry slash roles will be most disrupted by AI?
Data entry, admin, and back office, that's 90% plus.
Customer support and call centers, 80 to 90%.
Marketing and content creation, that's what you said.
Queen, 70 to 85%.
Accounting and finance, 60 to 80%.
Legal services, 50 to 70%. Healthcare, non-clinical 50 to 70 percent it's true it
helps you like diagnose stuff education 50 human resource 50 software development 40 percent
um yeah and then kind of goes down from there but that is yeah man marketing huh to your point queen yeah you could do a lot with the
marketing um it is really game changer there big time and also for outreach as well too i've heard
it can do that we're working on getting these systems plugged in probably everyone else's too
um but yeah so i think i think i think things are, like, the way we're hiring now is we're looking for people specifically that have, like, AI skills, you know?
So I think that's the way to do it.
I think that's the biggest barrier is just learning how to use these AI systems and these apps.
You know, prompt writing is going to be such a big deal in the future because, you know, you get your prompts right and your output is so much better.
I'm trying to get my kids to focus in on that type of thing, you know, with their schooling.
Of course, they just want to play the games. But like, let's let's build something that's going to help you guys in the future.
What a world for kids, man.
Those kids who are motivated and man,
can you think of the access to knowledge?
Like we had Google and I thought we're lucky because we had the world as our fingertips.
These guys can ask the most intricate,
intricate questions and become like experts,
subject magic,
the subject matter experts are like eight years old.
I know you have 11 year old that's
coding as part of his classes and i'm like wow like coding his own website i'm like teach me
how to do that and then another one that you know the school can find i guess they have tools that
can tell if you're using ai and some of your classwork and then they have tools that can go
around the tools that the schools have to to hide. So it's just going to be really interesting to see how that plays out in schools and colleges in the future.
Yeah, for some reason, I feel like they'll be resistant.
I don't know why.
At least like the government directed schools.
I don't know.
But I guess it's inevitable.
It's really inevitable.
How can you...
You can't.
You have to.
You have to get using AI
because it's going to get so competitive without it.
Yeah, 100%.
Hey, Little Lettuce, you still there?
hey little lettuce you still there we didn't lose you did we
We didn't lose you, did we?
did we lose him to the void we might have lost him to the void if we hear a response
from him we know it's going to be bought even if it sounds like respecter
okay you still hear it all right let's's go. I mean, let's grow. Let's grow.
Let's grow, dude. I don't, I'm like, uh, I'm hearing you guys in and out. I'm still here
somehow. I don't, you know, I've just been saying a prayer this whole time, but luckily I'm here.
Not here enough to probably contribute, but, uh, but I am here. So yeah, let's grow.
tribute but uh but i am here so yeah let's grow you didn't miss much we just made a huge giveaway
we had to pass you over unfortunately but uh you know other than that we're good
let's grow
i know that's kind of catchy i was gonna say i'm so glad you were safe from the earthquake. I was just on X and that was terrifying.
I saw this couple that were in a pool, a rooftop pool when it started shaking.
And I was just like praying for them to get out.
And all the rafts they were laying on were overflowing off the side of the, that, you know, skyscraper pool.
I was actually watching one because I could see one out my window i don't know if it was the same
building or another there's a few of these pools out here but when that was happening i was watching
it and i like i didn't know what was going on because it was obviously the earthquake had just
started well this actually started so i was on the phone with Mark at the time, actually. And then, and then I felt like,
I felt like the ground was shaking a bit, but I was like, man, am I just like really high?
I swear to God, that was my first thought. I'm like, I was like, man, what is like, man, did I
get like, like super high? Like, you know, I don't think I smoked that you know that day so um but i was like man
that's weird i was like my center of balance feels a little off you know like and then and then it
became and then it became obvious that it wasn't me being high because my building started uh
it was it was crazy guys it was like uh the building was swaying like it was straight swaying
and i saw some some um videos of other buildings they had some serious structural damage still It was crazy, guys. It was like the building was swaying. It was straight swaying.
And I saw some videos of other buildings.
They had some serious structural damage.
You still have two of the elevators down in our hotel.
So sometimes you get a bit of a queue there.
But yeah, that happened.
And then, yeah, that was super intense.
And I was watching another building.
That's what I was saying.
I was watching a building.
And I didn't know it was water at the time. I was freaking out. but i thought it was like the building falling apart i'm like oh shit but uh thank god yeah
huh have you ever been through that before there
no i i've been in like a minor earthquake thing and like you know where you like kind of feel it but no one even notices probably but this
was uh this was uh no this was crazy man i mean it was a scary experience like when you're in
there you're like because you don't know how bad it is you know if it's going to be worse it could
have been worse and who knows you know but um yeah no i've never been in a situation like that
it was really fun the only one i've ever been in was last year at NFC NYC. They had a, you know,
small one and I was at the top of my hotel packing up to leave and I barely felt it.
And, but you know, it's all over the news and stuff. And I think the lights got canceled,
but yeah, to feel a real one, I would probably freak smooth out. So I'm glad you're okay.
Yeah. Thank you. The whole city is like kind of
still on edge from it you know you kind of see it kind of everyone you can feel like everyone
has like this kind of sense of relief um you can still feel it um all the public transportation
was shut down yesterday so the traffic was obscene getting around was really hard um but uh
yeah i think things are like stabilized and everyone's
everyone here just kind of feels like they dodged a bullet you know because we kind of did like it's
actually pretty miraculous how little harm came i feel like it was pretty close to being you know
but then i also heard that bangkok's not like on a fault line so it shouldn't they shouldn't have
strong earthquakes here.
So I don't know.
And what about tsunamis as a result?
Any, any talk of that or are you in a safe area?
I don't think that would happen in Bangkok, but that could probably be an island or problem for the islands. You know, that's what happened previously when those tsunamis came because those islands don't have a lot of, you know, those sea levels pretty low on those.
So yeah, but. a lot of you know those sea levels pretty low on those so yeah but hope and pray everything is
good with everybody and everyone stay safe yeah yeah what an experience man that was crazy
that was wild it was just yesterday um is it beautiful well i mean normally this is a whole
nother conversation we probably won't talk
about extensively on this but normally bangkok is i actually love the city it's uh there's so
much energy in the city vibrant um i get massages like every day like i just got a massage before
the space two-hour massage what did i pay i paid like 20 bucks and then and then i and then i tipped 10 and that's like a
very you know a lot of people don't tip you know because they're from like europe and stuff you
just like you just tip 10 bucks like when i'm in the states and you pay like 100 for massage
and say you're a really good tipper there and you tip like 30 bucks or whatever you know so
um 130 bucks here out the door 30 bucks so you can you can like kind of guilt-free and they're
really good massages and you have so many options there's like there's like 10 massage shops on each
street so um you're making me jealous yeah the quality of life here yeah you order you order
something from uh they have grab instead of uber you order something from grab the hotel person
will bring it up to your room.
It's just like you get treated like a king in every way.
You don't get that in the States.
It doesn't matter if you live in a nice place in the States.
A lot of times you still have to go down, get your food.
No, everything they can do here to serve you.
So Thailand is an incredible place.
The people are awesome.
Very good culture.
Very respectful people, which I like.
So if you guys haven't been to Thailand.
Every year for a couple of months?
Not necessarily every year.
I didn't go for a few years during COVID, but it's probably my favorite place to go.
Spend a couple months every year.
I like to come here.
So I have to kind of circulate around the earth for business purposes.
So Thailand is one place I like to, I like to spend a few months.
It's just great. You know, like I feel like every time I'm here,
I just release a lot of stress and tension. So highly recommended,
highly recommended.
I've never been, but it's on my bucket list.
That would be super fun.
If you get an opportunity, definitely do.
By the way, there's like a Bangkok blockchain week, I think this coming week.
So if any of you guys.
Is that DevCon as well?
Yeah, I think so.
Yeah, I think so.
So I'll be buzzing around here.
You guys are around and say hi.
Hit me up.
Did we lose Little Lettuce?
Where'd he go?
And Gummy, too?
The AIs are taking over.
We got Suzuki up.
Still, I think a speaker. That's the only one one i see but maybe there's more that are not showing yeah yeah i think we might be having a little bit of
technical difficulties too we're gonna know we're working on that um well let's see let's see what
else you guys want to talk about i'll give you guys a quick update on gonna make it um
we know dev team's just plugging along uh we are very focused on uh getting again uh aggregation technology going uh these uh these indexers and also working on uh expanding to more
chains so that it's just underway you know how dev goes it just takes time so you know that's the name of
the game um lots of lots of good ui improvements on the site if you guys haven't seen we have now
the instant cell feature so if you go to a collection you can now have the instant cells
like the first box that shows out of the nfts that show so um some little improvements there
different ui improvements around the place we've been doing a lot of upgrades on the mobile UI.
So if you guys haven't seen it recently, check it out.
Our application is getting really good.
I run that through AI as well, of course.
And it seems they, you know, Claude and Chad Sheepity both seem to really like our design.
They say that our design is actually cleaner cleaner which i agree than all the incumbent
marketplaces and easier to use and more user friendly so that's something i'm really proud of
it's easy for like new people to onboard on onto the marketplace so we're really getting to that
level of uh a top tier marketplace i'm really proud of it just takes time to build you guys
tell you that three and a half years.
I've been building for seven years,
and the last three and a half years have been highly focused on going to make it.
So it's a journey, but also rewarding.
So hopefully, I'm optimistic.
I think this year is going to be really good for us this year as we get we get expanding on on on these uh on our multi-chain expansion plan
so um so yeah those are some updates um leon i see you in the audience by the way if you want to come
up um go ahead and request leon is our uh head of tech so he oversees all that, can answer any questions you guys have.
Mark, send him an invite if he's available to talk.
No pressure, Leonie. You don't have to.
If you don't want to, but if you want to share anything on tech,
you are most certainly welcome.
Hey, Tommy, I wanted to mention we had a great crypto check space this week.
We did that weekly and talked about different topics that we think are interesting to the community.
And this highlight this week was Web3 Amsterdam, my trip there and the panels that I spoke on.
And I wanted to see your thoughts on a couple of these topics.
I had two panels. One was on fragmentation.
How do we, you know, how do we avoid fragmentation and decentralized space? And
the second one was on collaboration, which was pretty easy for me because, you know, I love to
community build and to collaborate with other projects. So it wasn't quite as tech heavy as
the fragmentation topic, but it was really a cool conference if you've never been. And I hadn't been,
but it was, like I said, a little tech heavy, a lot of devs, a lot of builders.
But I did meet a team that was really excited
to learn that I was with CryptoChicks.
That was a Volt Enu team.
It's not a token I'm affiliated with.
I just met the ladies, found out
that we followed each other on TikTok.
And when they found out I was with CryptoChicks,
they were all excited.
And so that was really cool to see,
you know, people that really love and support the chicks.
Any thoughts on fragmentation or collaboration?
Yeah, wait, what team was that?
It was Volt Inu.
They're a meme.
I've seen them around.
We hung out with them before.
Yeah, they got a great community, you know, really pushing their tokens.
That's cool.
Yeah, maybe 10 million market caps, 20 million, something around there.
But yeah, it was really cool because, like I said, we followed each other on TikTok.
And I was like, oh, yeah, I know Raquel from Bolton.
And she's like, that's me.
And I was like, oh, wow.
Because, you know, you just see the art.
You don't really see the people's faces to make that connection.
But it was really cool.
And they joined our space on Monday night or Wednesday wednesday night sorry and uh and came up to speak and so just cool to collaborate with other
projects and you know grow the the crypto chicks presence in the space yeah that is that is a very
cool to hear and uh yeah happy happy uh you know we've seen crypto chicks continue to just plug away through the bear.
You know, you see how many projects don't stick with it, right?
And like, again, even if the budget is tight, you got to keep things just rolling, you know, to the best of your ability.
And I think that's what defines the winners.
That's what reveals the people who are committed versus the ones that aren't. So, yeah, that's great to hear. Thanks for sharing that. That's what defines the winners. That's what reveals the people who are committed versus the ones that aren't.
So, yeah, that's great to hear.
Thanks for sharing that.
That's cool.
Did you say one other thing I wanted to mention?
We had a poll that went up, I believe it was last week or maybe the week before.
But I was in a private DM group with another community, a women's focused community.
And they said, here's a poll.
Which NFT project do you feel
like is most likely to come back? And it was like World of Women, Crypto Chicks, Crypto Tech Women,
and one other. And so I kind of hijacked the post and tagged everybody that I know. And so we ended
up winning 60% of the poll. And so, yeah, it just goes to show you a little bit of networking and collab and rating power can go a long way.
And so I was excited to see that.
I'll pin it if I can find it.
Yeah, that is awesome.
And I think that, again, that's because we've been, you know, we've continued just plugging away during this time.
time so yeah that's awesome to hear because we're having that you know the visibility out there so
So, yeah, that is awesome to hear because we're having that, you know, the visibility out there.
background as he's listening in but um nothing really to add to what i said they're focused on
aggregation and uh and working on getting uh more blockchains onboarded to our marketplace.
So, yeah, good stuff.
Cool. Let's see. Let's see. What else?
We lost, I don't know what happened to Eric,
and Little Lettuce has turned into a robot.
So the speaker panel is kind of light today.
Yeah, go ahead. All right. yeah tell me uh i can see some
questions from the uh comment section also come can i go ahead and read them for you oh yeah yeah
please do all right yeah let me see that um like uh we have a first question here from winter i
don't know maybe he's still in the audience or not so um he's saying
that uh most of the questions people ask in the ams section are about the strength of the project
so on the contrary i'm interested in difficulties and challenges so what difficulties did the team
face while developing the project and how did they overcome them?
This is his first question.
All right.
Well, the first thing I would say to that is dodging earthquakes.
You know, you never know when an earthquake's going to hit.
It could be life-threatening and you need to make sure that you survive to keep building another day.
So that's the first part I'll say to that.
On top of that, you need to, man if if i were to summarize uh being a builder
of being a builder is about commitment man i've said that in past spaces and i'll say that again
you got to be committed you know like the tortoise and the hare analogy is is uh
it's basically reflective of that We see projects that come out
and maybe they raised a bunch of money
or had that initial success.
But without the proper follow-through,
it's worthless.
You have to be able to stick there,
stick through the bear market.
When times get tough,
find a way to persevere.
And that's what really,
I think, defines winners.
You need to,
and I think if you want to go even a step further back than that, that's what really, I think defines winners. You need to, and I think if you
want to go even a step further back than that, that's why I said before, you need to find out
what your life purpose is to find out what you want to commit your time to, because you can't,
you can't commit your time to everything. There's only so much you can do in this world. You know,
there's there, I have like a list of like a hundred things I would want to master. If I had
infinite time, then I would be happy to
do that. But we don't. We have a limited time in this world. Every day that passes, we're a little
older. We have our family around us, family we care about. We want to spend time with them.
We want to have a meaningful life. We want to enjoy our lives. It's not all work, right?
You want to enjoy your life. so all of this in consideration really
clues you in that you need to determine what are you going to dedicate to because you just don't
have that much time and if and the people who are like not dedicated when you have five ten options
coming at you they're going to go from one place to another and they're never going to finish
anything and and that's what
you see in the space right they had a good start times were easy all is good as long as things are
gravy they're there as soon as things get hard i give up they throw the towel in you know that's
that's that that's not a recipe for success if you want to be a winner you decide what you're
going to be good at and you just stick with it. Thick and thin, you know, find a way to find a way to keep going. That's it. That's what the
biggest thing I would say. So I think people a lot of times see the success on the surface,
surface of a project. And certainly there are projects, plenty of projects that got lucky,
but I think the real winners are the ones maybe who don't get lucky, but they're just like the law of, you know, like a large numbers,
putting in the time comes into effect. That's how I'd answer that question. You want to add
anything to that queen? Yeah, I think just like you said, consistency, that's the most important
thing. When I see someone continuously showing up and, you know, doing what they say they're going to do.
It builds that trust and transparency.
And, you know, you can you can start depending on them.
And, you know, if you ghost for a few weeks to a couple of months, then you've just ruined all the progress that you've made.
So just continuing to show up.
And, you know, even if you're not making huge strides or progress every day, just, you know, 1% better every single day.
Just continue to show up and keep grinding and, you know, balance that with trying not to burn out.
I think that's a real risk in this space because we do.
We just put our whole selves into it when we're passionate about something like we are about, you know, crypto and NFTs.
And, you know, just just really taking time for yourself to do that self-care like you're taking time to travel, doing massages and things.
It's, you know, just really important to take care of yourself so that you can put your oxygen mask on before you help someone else, including your project.
So, yeah, just a balance.
And it's hard to do.
It's a lot easier said than done.
But, you know, just try to, you know, when you can, take that time for yourself.
Well said.
And I had something to add there.
I lost my train of thought because that was just a perfect ending.
Let me think.
What was I going to say?
We were talking about commitment.
It was a good one.
But that was awesome.
Oh, on burnout.
So to avoid, one thing you will find, too, when you get into the thick of things is you have to be very selective in what you do as well.
You're going to have, your plate is always going to be full.
It's just always full.
There's, you know, and then it's like, so really it's a game of the 80-20 rule.
So determine what the top 20% is and you got to focus on that.
And you can't focus on the other.
That's a huge one that I learned.
Because again, that ties to you want to do 100 things in your life too.
It's the same concept where you have to just be really selective.
What are you going to focus on?
What is going to drive the result?
And I think that's really, really important for both business and your life.
So what other questions you got?
Actually, wait, wait.
So, Zach, wait.
Go ahead, Queen.
Oh, yeah. I was just saying in Web3, there's just so many opportunities out there to get involved.
And, you know, you do a good job with one.
And then, you know, you tend to get involved and you know you do a good job with one and and then you know you tend
to get more and more offers and so just like you said tommy choosing the ones that are you're most
passionate about and you feel like you can make the biggest impact is important because you can't
do it all there's it's just impossible and you'll you'll definitely burn out if you try
so yeah taking breaks and and prioritizing is so important
right on let's grow all right so zach what other questions we got
all right uh let me see this one um yeah here's another question from winter again
uh he was saying on your road map i saw a program finding partnership and major investors
I saw a program finding partnership and major investors.
For your project, can you provide more details
on where you are targeting to look?
Any hints of the big names to come?
And what are your plans if the search doesn't work?
I didn't catch that.
Can you say that again?
Yeah, you say?
Okay, can you say that question again all right yeah let me read it again
um i think tommy is asking about a project uh we have mentioned in the roadmap that we're trying to grow by having more partnerships in the future.
Hey, welcome back, Eric.
We missed you.
I thought, did you get taken by the robot
ai2 we lost lettuce i did it was a lettuce monster ai bot that took me over no i'm actually
at the barn so i have terrible reception out here so if i dip out again i'll just go down to listener. Okay.
we missed you.
are we having a moment right now?
That's awesome,
I'm just kidding.
friends for life.
Did I miss anything important?
Unfortunately,
but unfortunately I got to keep the space moving.
It's a true bromance.
All right. the space movement it's a true bro man all right let's see what I what was what next question so Zach you hit us yeah all right I'll repeat the one I read
recently but I haven't heard what you said about the roadmap.
Okay, I'm sorry, you gotta repeat that question. I think, did Mark answer that?
No, I haven't heard him.
Maybe I think my network was glitching
or something like that.
I heard him talking about having a list in Twitter.
All right, here's the question.
He was saying, on your roadmap, I saw a program finding partnerships and major investors for your project.
Can you provide more details on where you are?
Can you guys hear me?
On your roadmap?
I can hear you.
Yeah, I can hear you just fine
yeah yeah let me continue with the question let me repeat it again
no okay i heard it i heard it um partnerships partnerships well i was just getting an echo
uh mark can you hear me i think he's having some troubles yeah it seems like it um well i will answer that question
the answer to the question is that is exactly what we're doing that's what i was talking about
earlier the partnerships uh with blockchains
you guys we have built a fully featured nft marketplace that is uh pretty much at a tier
one marketplace in terms of functionality ui airdrop capabilities etc etc and the tokenomics
to back it up so our next move now is you know a lot of blockchains really need a good nft marketplace
so that's that's where we pivoted with energy you know we built the blockchain first which is great
and i'm glad we did because we're the only ones who've done security right and then but then we're
like hang on a second we need but we need we need apps on our blockchain that's what we figured out
and we built our own decks built our own own bridge, built a few other things.
And then, uh, and then, you know, gotten NFTs in 2021 and, you know,
fell in love with them and, you know, bought the top of them,
which was a great move. Um, and then, uh, but then still,
nonetheless still fell in love with NFTs. Um, and, um, and yeah, so we're going to focus on building an NFT marketplace.
Fast forward three and a half years.
Now we have an NFT marketplace.
And now we are in a position where it is serving our blockchain.
But we also have learned that it is also very beneficial for other people, other blockchains.
other blockchains. They badly need a good NFT marketplace. So that is one of our strongest
They badly need a good NFT marketplace.
avenues of partnerships right now is pursuing those blockchains, which we are actively in
conversations with and have had a pretty good response thus far. So those are in the pipe.
So beyond that, of course, as we get going on more blockchains, we're going to be catering
to a lot more new projects. There's a lot of those people on those other blockchains, we're going to be catering to a lot more new projects.
There's a lot of those people on those other blockchains need to get an empty marketplace.
So boom, we're going to plug right in.
They're going to come over.
Oh yeah, by the way, we have 0% marketplace fees, so that helps.
And a good airdrop program, that helps. So I think what this year is looking like for us as it's setting up is a lot of expansion.
Again, the analogy I like to use is this is how I like to think of it for myself.
Imagine going to make it this nice hamburger shop, right? We've got really good burgers and everyone loves the burgers.
And we're taking our burger shop and
we're expanding to more cities energy i imagine energy like a kind of like a 10 000 person
town i wouldn't even say a city because that's that's we got a tight-knit community but
we're not huge compared to some of the incumbents but we're taking our uh you know our hamburger
shop and expanding to to more cities so we're going to 10 cities this year or more. That's what it looks like.
Anyway, that was kind of a long answer,
but I think that should answer the question. So yeah.
Yeah. I hope winter you can hear your answers.
Hope what Tommy says answers all your questions.
I think he's got another one like
let me let me see yeah tell me all right i'm gonna start charging five dollars every question
answer but let's just keep it going all right um yeah the last one he's asking what is the
function of the taking in your platform? So your plan to reduce inflation?
Plan to reduce?
Well, the purpose of the token as core is to take over the world.
But before we get to that level, we got to just, you know, look at the high level.
The high level purpose of the token is obviously governance,
They all have that,
it's a way of giving people exposure to going to make it indirectly.
This was like a taboo thing to talk about because of the last
administration,
but tokens ultimately function as a kind of exposure to the,
to the ecosystem,
especially if they have demand drivers behind them, which we do. Right. but tokens ultimately function as a kind of exposure to the to the ecosystem especially
if they have demand drivers behind them which we do right we got like really good tokenomics behind
it that are gonna every season on our airdrop after we do the the tge the token generation event
which just to be clear by the way you guys we're not going to do the token generation event in a
bad market it's got to be when the market's hot.
This is the one thing I learned in crypto in 11 years is make sure to launch a token when the market's hot.
It would be a very bad idea to launch a token.
I mean, some people are obviously still doing it, but I think they're missing out big time.
Unless they have some big urgency to do it or maybe under pressure by their VCs or something.
But beyond that, you should really wait till the time is ripe.
It's like picking an apple off a tree.
You don't want to pick it too early.
You just ruin it.
If you did,
but if you guys don't know how our airdrop is going to work when we do do our TGE,
which we're tentatively planning for probably late this year as things are looking right now,
every, we're going to have a new airdrop season.
Those are going to be now three-month seasons.
Currently, our seasons are one month.
After TGE, the seasons are going to be three months.
And every three-month season is going to come out with a liquidity pool
that you can pair the GMI token with that reward token,
as well as a couple other pairs so every season that comes
out and that's where the majority of there's going to be a lot of gmi to earn from doing that so in
other words every three months every three month season that ends there's going to be a new demand
driver for the gmi token in the form of a new liquidity pool with attractive apis so no one's
built tokenomics like this i'm not trying to say that
to my own horn. That's just me being hungry because when we launched Energy in 2017, we did
not have these tokenomic capabilities that we have today. And people, in my opinion, don't take it
seriously enough and don't realize that doing tokenomics right literally can make the difference
of billions of dollars, not millions, billions.
So I've taken it really seriously and optimized tokenomics literally over the course of years.
So it's been kind of, it's kind of like a, another kind of like major work that I've done in, in context of everything we've done.
So that's, that's one thing i will say to answer that guys uh
the demand drivers we have every every three months there's going to be a new demand driver
for gmi to lock up that gmi and uh you know when the gmi is locked up um you know a lot of that's
going to get locked up in the 6.9 year liquidity pool and that's going to stay locked up one thing our dev team is working on actually is uh making it so those those uh contracts could be sold so let's say you lock up like a thousand
dollars worth of gmi and a thousand dollars of eth right and you got it in your and you you put
it on uniswap provide some liquidity you know uniswap now gives you an nft back right so we
want to make a market for those nfts it's not set in stone because our devs are still testing it to make sure this works.
But what ultimately this will do is it will make sure the GMI remains locked up because
that's really important to me.
But at the same time, if people need to sell, there is some way that they can effectively
exit their position without having the GMI hit the market.
exit their position without having the GMI hit the market. So just really kind of sophisticated
tokenomics design that you're not really seeing for most projects. Most projects just either they
release a token or maybe they have staking and then their staking mechanisms usually aren't
extremely well thought out. I'm talking about big projects, by the way, that just they don't have
that experience maybe or the hunger. Maybe that's it. Maybe they're just kind of content that they're like, I've already made a lot of money, so
I don't need to do tokenomics perfectly.
But for me, I'm not going to leave any I'm not leaving anything on the table here.
We're taking every advantage we can get for GMI for the benefit of GMI holders.
So hopefully that answers the question.
Yeah, I can see Winta answers the question. Yeah, I can see Winter from the audience.
I hope that all this has answered your questions.
So there is one question, but it's about the AI.
So maybe we should go back to this question about AI.
So if you can allow me, I will.
Yeah, yeah, of course.
Let's talk about
our new overlords.
All right.
The next question about AI
is from Blabla.
Yeah, he's asking,
do you think AI's
recent developments
on image generation skills
kills jobs opportunity
for graphic designer?
I mean, I don't want to be like negative, but kind of.
I mean, if I were you right now,
I would learn how to use AI for graphic design.
You know, that's what I would do.
Use it to enhance your skill.
I'll say that, you know.
AI doesn't flat out replace every role.
If you're doing some job already, say you, you know, AI doesn't flat out replace every role.
If you're doing some job already, say you're doing marketing,
there's still so much need for a human as of this point in time.
Maybe this will change in five years. But as of this point, you still need someone who knows what they're doing,
who knows what a good output looks like.
Let me underline that.
That's really important.
You need someone who knows what a good output looks like, and it should help them get there much faster. And that's the
point. So that's what's really, that's what's really coming through for me, for AI. So whatever
skillset you're using for, whether marketing, whether, you know, data analysis, whatever,
whatever it is, it's, it's ultimately, I think, again, it puts a lot of emphasis on the operator
and their ability to think and clearly have a clear perspective on the problem and prompt
engineering, how to prompt the AI, how to guide it to get to where you want, paying attention to
detail, this and that. So, yeah. So it did say, didn't I pull up on the, I think I pulled up on
the chat GPD earlier that I think graphic design was definitely one of those. And for us too, it's, it's, it's been one of the things we used to, we don't have a, we don't have a graphic designer right now. Our graphic designer is AI and it fills, and it fills the purpose and it does it better than a lot of, sometimes a lot of other, uh, what you'd get from a human and very cost-effective obviously so yeah
is that all the questions yeah that's all but I don't know maybe there are some
questions let me check but for now I have to read all this. Anyway, on that note, we are reaching the last inning or two of the space.
So if you guys have a subject you are itching to talk about, now is the time.
I think, Tommy, I've been experiencing some issues with X but I finally figured it out.
I think some of my devices are lagging. I think when you run like multiple devices to record or
something you just so are you guys able to hear me just give me a thumbs up. I just want to make
sure I'm not lagging or speaking over anybody. Okay got it. I think Tommy the answer to that previous
question is AI gonna make graphic designer obsolete. I mean did it make Beeple obsolete
or tripled his popularity? And I would say the folks that
And I would say the folks that are not following out with the graphic artists, like, you know,
Violeta is a good example for like a Web3 musician, like really good example, right?
Beeple is a very good example, like an AI NFT artist.
ai nft artist and uh the ai actually tripled his popularity like literally like tripled his
popularity um and so that's uh that's the thing that people caught on to these ai stuff very
early on i mean he he got his hands on really advanced tools um and he really like you
know captured the entire market he's a celebrity right so uh the question is uh the question was
whether you know the ai would change the landscape or whether we'd make the job obsolete um i don't think so. And it has happened throughout our history, right?
What happened to those people that took extensive courses in shorthand writing, right?
Now we have note takers.
There were dedicated classes for people teaching on how to take shorthand notes.
So while you are in an interview or somewhere like that,
you know, you can quickly write, right?
I mean, that's disappeared, right?
Like students are now going to classes
and just turning on that AI and actually going to sleep, right?
And just coming home and then summarizing the points
and the AI also makes them the quizzes and, you know, everything.
So the thing is, but those students are now have to learn the
new skills right because they are understanding so they're not everybody's gonna do that not
everybody's gonna take the AI and you know to the classes because not a lot of people are gonna
invest in that new technology there'll be like late adopters early adopters similar example was the the people that were using typewriters right
uh it got completely replaced by computers so we i mean they were replaced by somebody else like
right and uh after the typewriter, it was computers.
And after the computers, now it's like, was like oral note-taking, right?
We had softwares like 10 years ago doing that.
And now we have AI note-taking, right?
So I think the lesson that we're learning from our history is that, you know,
every piece of technology is going to go obsolete at some point of time. And those that catch catch the wave now there is a point where you
know technology advances and takes a big leap there's a short leap and then there is a big leap
right uh cell phone introduction of cell phone was a big leap right uh and introduction of smartphones
was another big leap right so in between that you had cell phones like
you know going shorter shorter shorter but really the big leap really happened with
iPhone right where you had processor capabilities in that and the next big human leap was the AI
and you know you're seeing that every technological advancement if you look at throughout
the history right if you look at human beings going from like human beings to
like evolution to like Stone Age like it's eons from Stone Age to Bronze Age
Bronze Age to iron, iron to gold and all of that to industrial age to technology the the common factor is the gap between
those years is decreasing significantly like extremely and it has been only
possible I personally feel because a lot of globalization so if that trend
continues I can see all of us working together.
If we are working together as human species, right?
Because there are very hidden factors inside where you don't see it uphand, right?
But there are like millions of quotes that needs to be written by a person from like a cheaper country.
And that is a significant contribution that reduces the cost and helps the company to focus on, you know, major developments.
And without those recipes, those technological advancement will not happen.
So the biggest thing is we as humans, we need to identify those technologies and really invest our skills into knowing them.
And it would depend upon like, you you know what you want to do with your
life like how deep you want to go right if you are an artist you really want to go only into the art
structure i mean you should not be worried about like you know examining the code using ai for
that so as humans we need to really really think that you that technology is going to absolutely make things obsolete in
the past. And sometimes the adoption will pick up real fast and then it will drop off.
But then over the period of 10 years, it will slowly gather momentum.
Same thing happened with Amazon, right? From an online bookstore to an online giant.
It did not start that way so
so if anybody's listening and their question is like whether their jobs are going to be obsolete
uh it is inevitable but it will be replaced by some other skill set so the solution is just to set. Yeah, that's a good point.
Anyone else want to add to that? And the funny part is, you know, you see a lot of resistance actually from us, from us
humans, you know.
And it has happened to me before.
And then once I realized that, you know, okay, I can't overlook this piece.
Like, you know, you have the first reckoning, right?
Oh, I missed Bitcoin, but I don't want to miss Ethereum.
And then after that, it just follows like, you know.
So any new piece of technology, it's just, I don't want to blink my eye on it because, you know, once you master that technology,
it could set your life for like a decade, right?
Because it's a skill that you need to invest into
both financially and, you know, time-wise,
the monetary and time, both it's needed that,
but you'll be ahead of the first, like the course like we're ahead of the curve
And all the people would say that I use chat GPT
And this is this is like I've been working with chat but chat GPT for two years Tommy and this is a reality
Okay, I have only unleashed the, chat GPT for two years, Tommy, and this is a reality. Okay.
I have only unleashed the power of AI in the last three months. And, uh,
the thing is the most important thing is like, I,
I feel like, you know,
there is a learning curve and you got to learn from,
from people that are actually pioneering it
and you got to find those people and that's going to significantly decrease your learning curve
man let me let me tell you let me tell you something i love about ai doesn't i love it
is man when when you're when you're hiring people for a job what what a pain in the ass
excuse my language you know just dealing with all the, you know,
there's, there's so much like, like, like sometimes you just need to have a seat filled,
you know, like there, you have certain jobs that need to be filled. And when you, when you have to
have it done by human, you have to manage that. And sometimes they're sick or sometimes they just
flake out for no reason. And one of the things I love about AI, just reliable, you know, the reliability, you plug something into an AI agent into something, and then you could just consistently rely on it.
There's no sick days.
There's no drama.
There's nothing.
It's just they just get the job and they do it.
And it's one thing I really love about it.
And, again, that's going to be a big disruptor for, you know,
I guess for the human workforce.
The funny part here is, Tommy,
people were really fond of
virtual assistant positions, right?
And now they're becoming completely obsolete
because people are now going out there
and are actually buying
virtual assistant agents from the market.
That job is like, in the few years,
it's going to get obsolete because people are just going to have an application that's going to like do all the,
watch the stuff that, you know, virtual assistant does.
Yeah. And much more than that too, you know? So.
Well, right on. Oh yeah. good oh yeah i saw your hand oh yeah i was just going to add to the conversation and see what you guys thought about this with the studio
ghibli coming out with chat gbt this this month and it kind of or this week and it kind of ties
into to the the question from the audience about you, the obsoleteness of graphic designers, like, how much will copyright, you know, legal issues affect what we do as far as AI? You know, are we
going to have any protection from artists from some of these generations? Or is it going to be
considered fair use as it has been up to this point?
I think that's an interesting conversation to have.
What? Yeah. Say that one more time, Quinn. Any catch up? What was the
conversation to have around what? I got it. I got it, Tommy. I think Queen is talking about the copyright issue
that is actually coming out of using the AI stuff.
And I think I came across this thing, Tommy,
if you would like me to go ahead and talk about it.
yeah go for it so it was regarding um the uh people were asking a lot of questions i was in
Yeah, go for it.
a session and they were asking questions like you know hey we are making these images we're
making this we're making that um can we monetize our image um so they said if you're using the free version, absolutely not. And do not even
attempt to do that because, you know, as soon as you're trying to do that, you know, because your
email account is linked to this, this, these stuff, like AI is really smarter and they are like
already like punishing people, you know you know uh for
using the free version and you know monetizing it whether it be graphics or whether it be video
um and then the next question somebody just turned around and asked oh well i'm i'm paying for my
stuff am i still have to will i still have to face the issue of copyright if I am using the paid version
and the host you know politely said that okay this is a question you got to read when you
actually sign up in their in their agreement and most of the AI tools,
they give you your monetization rights.
And so you've got to be really careful
what AI platform you're using
and whether the paid version allows you for monetization
or whether, you know, it allows,
even the non-paid version allows you for monetization or not,
or you will end up in the copyright issue.
Quinn, is that answering your question?
Yeah, yeah, I think so.
It's just kind of came to light, or I guess the conversation heated up this week with
Studio Ghibli from ChatGPT.
You know, is that an infringement of the rights of the studio?
I guess it's a Japanese studio that
creates that particular type of art. And, you know, is that going to be, you know, copyright
issues in the future? There's still some legal cases that are pending against, you know, ChatGPT
and some of the other AI art image generators. And, you know, it's just an interesting topic
to see if that might provide
some protection for those artists, you know, will they be paid for their work, you know, in the
future? And, you know, is that a way that they can continue to, you know, have successful careers?
And, you know, you definitely can't rule out the, you know, fine art, we still, you know,
pay good money for our Rembrandts and all of our fine art.
And, you know, I was at NFC NYC last year and, you know, the amount of hand drawn and, you know, original art is massive there.
And what people are paying is crazy amounts.
I don't think it's ever going to replace that hand art or hand animation, but it definitely is a new market for this AI-generated art.
Oh, you mean the Ghibli art, right? They are talking about it's a concept, right?
Yeah, that's what really brought it to the conversation this week.
well under well the question is which jurisdiction is gonna be
entertained right whether somebody from japan could go in the japanese court or simultaneously
go into the uh the u.s courts or some other country and who they're going to pursue in terms of copyright
infringement, whether it be the open AI platform or whether it be the individual and how many
individuals like you can, you know, and you had some history in the past. Tommy, you remember
that torrent guy, the BitTorrent guy? I remember BitTorrent. Who's a BitTorrent guy the bit torrent guy uh i remember bit torrent who's a bit torn guy that justin's son
um so this guy is like a german guy and he actually lives in new zealand under house arrest
i think so i don't know whether he's out of the house arrest but like it's oh yeah i know that
like that's the guy behind mega what's's his name? Dot com, right?
Kim.com, right?
I think so.
Yeah. So the agency here was like the U.S. agency, FBI, and they pursued him because he was the owner of the platform, right?
owner of the platform right BitTorrent and he they they did not they did not
BitTorrent.
pursue the users basically who were you know you know downloading movies and
sharing movies and all of that stuff so if if this kind of stuff is going to
happen then I personally feel like regarding the copyright infringement the users won't have to face it
I think it's the it's the it's it's the I guess the platform which is helping the users do that
it's going to face that and also the other thing is whether this this piece of like you know art
or technology was even patented or not, right?
Because a lot of movies and all of that stuff,
they go through all of those things where you can't pirate it.
It's already mentioned, right?
There is laws regarding that.
So I think OpenAI will face the heat if that thing happens.
Yeah, it sounds like right now they're operating under what's called fair use,
or if it's sufficiently transformed and not from an original piece,
it's considered reproducible.
But these broader artistic styles like the Ghibli might have an uphill battle
because it is just a style and not necessarily in particular.
Can you copyright an art style? That's kind of weird.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, they're just saying that, you know, in the things that I've read this week, that it's, you know, they're going to be more and more copyright lawsuits coming,
and there's just not a lot of clear licensing agreements with creators. So just
something to kind of watch out for in the future and, you know, possibly some protection from these
original artists. Who knows? We'll see how it plays out.
Yeah, that's definitely some food for thought.
Yeah, I have a feeling that AI is just going gonna get better though you know it's gonna get more
yeah i guess i guess we'll see we'll see interesting all right guys we are entering
in the last 10 minutes of the space here so this is prime time so if you have something you've just
been hanging on to you're starting to share but you've been kind of
nervous or maybe a little you know stage fright now's your time it's your opportunity seize the
opportunity i'll tell you guys something in life you got to take the opportunity when it's there
sometimes it's there and next thing you know you come back around and it's gone and you're like
damn i thought about doing that but i didn't do it and now it's gone. And you're like, damn, I thought about doing that, but I didn't do it.
And now it's gone.
So don't let that be you today.
If that's you today, take a stand.
Well, I'll start it off then.
I'll do a shameless plug for the crypto chicks.
We've introduced them in detail here on this basis.
I won't go into super detail, but it is a collection that got me into NFTs.
And one of the reasons that I've stayed in the space, it's a wonderful, you know, a collection focused on empowerment of women in the space and the unique beauty of every woman.
And it meant it in 2021. I was looking on OpenSea for an NFT project that, you know, reminded me of myself.
And I found my PFP, my forever PFP there. And I've
continued to add to my collection and we have a great community that's, you know, continuing to
thrive through the spare market. Gabby in the audience is one of the core team members and she
is an amazing speaker and friend of mine. Such a positive environment that we have developed in the
last, you know, couple of years here. And so happy to be part of it. We'd love to have
you guys check out the project on Secondary Marketplaces. You can stop by our Discord and
chat with us, find out what's going on. We have weekly spaces. We have merchandise available.
And we have all our socials, TikTok, Instagram, and of course, X. So please follow us. And we'd
love to have you. If you have a friend or family member who's, you know, just kind of curious about NFTs, not really sure how to get involved.
We'd love to, you know, talk with them one on one and and, you know, do some handholding if we need to to help them get onboarded.
So thank you for having me so much, Tommy. I appreciate it. Thank you for all your support.
And I'm excited with everything that Energy and GMI is doing in the space. Thanks.
what everything that energy and GMOs do in the space.
So thanks.
Yeah, for sure.
And a great rep in CryptoChicks.
You know, best female PFP art, in my opinion.
And by the way, Gabby, you should join on these spaces too.
I see you in the audience.
Love having you on the panel.
You don't have to, you know, you're welcome up here.
Just say that.
Although this space is ending here pretty shortly. But for future reference or whatever, please do feel free to join.
Okay, good stuff. Anyone have final closing thoughts before we go to some music.
Yeah, Tommy, I would like to announce the winners for today's spaces.
Yeah, good call.
Good time for it.
Go for it.
As you guys know,
I've pinned the tweet on the top and all you had to do was just post your referral link from the airdrop in the comment section.
Two of the spots in our daily 100 usdc pool
um is reserved for our raiders so today's raider rating winners are rompton and h2so4 so
congratulations um we do have a special rating group in energy. And, you know, every week as we do the spaces, two rewards are reserved for that.
So if you're interested in becoming an energy raider, make sure you hop onto our Discord.
And just, you know, share your interest of being a raider in the Zeely channel.
We have a Zeely channel inside our Discord.
All right.
Let me check for the rest of the
winners surprisingly looks like everybody got a cold feet uh and unfortunately i'm not seeing
anybody uh you know even after like making a tweet and uh posting and pinning it on the top uh
nobody did just give me the money mark just give it to me
i'll take it yeah yeah i was gonna say that and i and i think this this is like you know i was
in one of the other spaces tommy and like literally like you know those spaces are full
with a lot of people right and that's like an organic space. And for the first time, I was seeing like so many few people
as the market like started tanking up like real bad.
And I would just like, you know,
those people that were inside the spaces,
that were attending the spaces regularly,
they got a chance to talk and, you know, network.
So many things that they got to do.
And even yesterday um i i
you've you've been with mikhail right from certic correct so do you remember mikhail uh tommy
yeah yeah so he is a really great guy by the way tommy he's like a very good soul and um you know
he hosts uh like meet and greet with like Web3 Network.
And he actually was like, I was so scared to even like have a meeting
because looking at the market condition,
I was like not sure whether people were even going to attend.
And to his surprise, some people attended,
but not a whole lot of people attended.
I think there were like only four or five people,
like five or six people, maybe I'm wrong, but not more than like of people attended. I think there were like only four or five people, like five or six people.
Maybe I'm wrong,
but not more than like 10 people in that meeting.
And by the way,
this telegram group is like filled with like a hundred people,
so people are getting cold feet.
I tell you what,
when people are getting cold,
I think these days I'm getting hot,
Like, especially with AI. I don't know, man man i think as long as we just take care of ourselves and
stay focused the world's really our oyster these days more than anything
so you know keep that keep let's keep that mindset man attitude of gratitude just take
i just want to pause here as we're getting here putting in space and just pause here
and if you guys haven't recently, then do this.
And I'm doing this too.
Just take a moment and reflect on how grateful we should be for living in this day and age.
Truly, especially with AI now.
It's almost like, man, I mean, if you were the richest person in the world 20 years ago, you would not have what
everyone has for free today. And I would, if I was like a billionaire 20 years ago, I would pay
billions of dollars to use the AI tools that we all have for access for free. What a game changer.
So highly recommend everyone take a little time today, do a little gratitude practice,
count all your blessings, you know, and stay in that vibration. And that's really what I'm, what I'm trying to do because
yeah, you know, things are, we've been in a prolonged bear market and blah, blah, blah, but
we have a lot to be grateful for. And I feel like if we leverage tools properly,
it doesn't matter. You know, you just, our lives can be on such a positive trajectory
with that. So I want to, I want to stay in that vibration attitude of gratitude.
I think that's really,
really important.
I think the opportunity is like so significant Tommy,
nowadays you can attend like some spaces,
and you get rewarded for that.
These opportunities never existed before crypto don't
you think yeah there's so much opportunity man i mean anyone can find their avenue again and again
i want to just emphasize again ai mentorship you guys if you guys are not using ai as a mentor
you're that's another you're missing out you know you should be asking ai about many things to help guide you in your life uh i use it again
all the time for direction in in in what i need to do i use it all the time all the time and i
get multiple opinions so i don't just go to one ai because one thing i noticed too is the ai will
will kind of fluff you up you gotta watch out for that and ai can fluff you up so what i mean by
that is uh you know it just it tries to like agree with you.
It tries to be agreeable.
So I've noticed that like, so you need to be a little bit careful to get second opinions,
especially for sensitive things or, you know, important things.
But beyond that, regardless of which, just fantastic insight.
Absolutely fantastic.
So a moment of gratitude for us for that.
So thank you universe. Okay okay and zaki do you have
that song load it up don't start it yet but just asking if you have it ready yeah yeah i have it
ready yeah all right so here in asia this is a song that's like pretty popular right now you go
out you hear it if you go out to the clubs you'll probably hear at least once during the night and
you if you're on tiktok you've probably heard it already too but i'm
going to share with you guys a little taste of asia so um let's wrap things up that way any last
thoughts before we wrap up before we go to music i hope you guys have a great weekend
um before that tommy i want to apologize i think uh i've been tracking like multiple time zones
uh so i accidentally put 10 a.m instead of like 9 a.m eastern standard time uh so i'll be very
careful next week guys uh make sure you know i don't slack off so i apologize once again
all good spaces are the same time that we're doing so that's uh it's 8 p.m bangkok time
which is now 10 p.m bangkok time and i think it's uh i think i am i don't know you guys know what
you are in the u.s just the same time we started the space two hours ago that's when they start
so plan for that um we'll put we'll keep it that way for again the next uh the next two months or
so i'll give you guys a heads up when we're going to switch back.
And I might have to adjust my sleep schedule then too, but don't worry about that.
All right.
Any last things before we finish, before we go to music?
I think you guys will like this song.
It's like really catchy.
So I actually was looking for this song because I heard it and I was like, damn, that's a catchy song.
