We're very excited to have you. Thank you so much for having me. I'm excited about this conversation and look forward to it. Thank you.
As our we I know our audience is pretty excited as well. So you know to get started why don't you take a moment to introduce yourself to our beautiful audience and give them you know a little bit of a bat of your background in this space. So I actually I'm from Calgary, Alberta and I actually started my
career as a deologist. So I should grow well just drilling in production and I got into the Web 3 space quite recently two years ago but deeply into it. Before this I was more into I was a founder of my own clean tech company that was backed by NASA I worked with tech stars. So
So it kind of gave me that insight into what it's like being a founder and then I got into the VC world as well. So it's been exciting. I love the blockchain space. There's a lot of movement not only in terms of new products that are being launched, founders that are solving big problems, but also the regulatory framework.
There's a lot of movement and I think this is the best time to be in the blockchain space for sure. Yeah, I went 100% degree and it's really cool to get a little bit of your background. You know, one of the things that I'm always curious to learn about our guests is really what brought them into this space.
So many of our guests are naturally very curious. They're often very creative and of course they're often brilliant. So what's the case with you? What wasn't that attracted you to the World of DeFi in Web 3? This is a very good question and a pretty good story to you.
So like I said, I was in the the clean tech, oil and gas space being a founder. I got a LinkedIn message about two years ago and someone had asked me to become a founder of their yeah, a founder and a partner in their blockchain incubator. And I was like,
This is an interesting opportunity. Why don't I just check it out? It turned out to be Vitaly Gretrens mom, Natalia Emily, and she had launched Crypto Chicks in Canada, which is a hub for blockchain education to get more women involved
