How's it going? We got Josh on the community count. Are we in front of you?
talking. I know Brad is on as well, but he has a couple things going on, so he's going to be listening. Cool. All right, well, yeah. So I think the idea is to kind of give people understanding of what AI arena is.
I know you guys put out an awesome video kind of walking through that, but maybe we can break that down a little bit. And like how things will work, because I think there's like confusion of like what is this AI based smash look like, right? And how training works.
and things like that. So diving through those things would make sense. But if you want to give a high level explainer of what AI arena is and the goals first, then we can take that and also introduce yourself. Yeah, sounds good. So more
I'm the CEO and co-founder of the project A.I. Arena. The company developing the game is called Arena X Labs. We're a team of 19 people now that are working on the project full-time. So yeah, that's a bit about me. There's a few of our team members.
actually here in the audience as well. There's a seeking guppy that's a CEO and Brandon who's leading the engineering efforts. We have the MC here as well as autonomous 0x. They both work on the business team doing a lot of like community.
development strategy, etc. So yeah, at a high level, as you mentioned, AI Arena is a game that we're building on Ethereum, more specifically Arperture. It is visually, it looks kind of like Super Smash, but behind the
scenes the characters are actually artificial intelligence models. The core game loop is one of humans interacting with the AI and training the AI from basically something that doesn't really understand how to do anything in this game to potentially a very powerful AI that can play this
game quite well. So we can dig into that player journey on the training side. And I would say the training is actually the core game loop. It is very different, is very novel. Like I said, dig into the mechanics there. Once you have trained your AI and
you're kind of happy with its progress, what it's learned, and how it can potentially perform. You can enter it into the arena where we have a matchmaking engine based on this kind of ELO scoring system, and you're able to battle against other AI's that have been trained by other
players from around the world. The competition is kind of like an evergreen competition. It's intended to be kind of infinite. Really over time we just want people to continue to explore how to ultimately train their AI, explore different types of policies, and really allow the spirit of
competition to continue to drive the game forward. So yeah, that's a description of the game at a high level. In terms of the overall objective of our project, we really see AI Arena as a platform that will allow us to help
on board people into the world of AI in a way. We believe AI is one of the most important technological and mega themes that's unfolding alongside Wethree. And its applications are going to be ubiquitous across all different aspects of our lives.
is progressing at an unbelievable clip. Many people talk about we're living in the exponential age, I think with AI, people are really going to start to feel what exponential progress in advancement actually feels like.
The challenge with that is there's a risk that people get left behind because there's a general perception around AI that it's a black box, it's threatening, it's going to replace my job and people don't even really want to engage with the technology. I think, fortunately, more recently, things like
