...everyone to roll back in and then we'll continue where we left off.
Sorry about the inconvenience there.
I hope I was in the...
Okay. So, yes, in case you didn't hear me previously, I'm not sure why that ended so abruptly, but I'll just continue where we left off.
So, yeah, I guess there's a lack of clarity in the community about what sort of proposals can be made through the L of Zero governance platform and what the process is for deciding which ones actually go through and to the stage where they are getting voted on.
So, yeah, if you could provide some information about that, that would be amazing.
Sure, of course. Yeah, I mean, the ending was impressive, I would say.
Okay. Yeah. So, in terms of the proposals, I also might be kind of wrong here, but this is what I observed, this is what we discussed, et cetera.
The proposals can be made purely by the foundation and for creating, let's say, those proposals, they need some sort of like the options to spin up.
So, those options means, you know, we need to provide the title, descriptions, et cetera.
This is like very basic, but also decide whatever this proposal is.
So, whatever it's like utilizing basic or weighted voting and also spin up the set of time, like how long this proposal will go.
And in terms of making those proposals, it's purely on the foundation decision, because right now the foundation only can spin up them.
And as far as I think this was like discussed internally, internally, I'm not sure there, definitely.
This was discussed and those proposals are made based on the Discord decisions.
I mean, Discord discussions, and maybe it's a good time also to announce that on the governance platform, we also like added slash implemented thoughts,
which can be like a good place for discussions related to the governance without spinning the proposals, and those can be added by anybody.
So, I think like, I'm not making decisions here, but this could be like a good opportunity to also try to push something visible.
Sweet, yeah.
I do remember when we were discussing the Thoughts platform, but yeah, at the moment, if anyone has any proposals that they would like to share
and potentially get put forward for vote, yeah, as Przemek mentioned, the Discord server, specifically the category called Governance,
is definitely the place to do that at the moment.
So, we'll move on to the next question then.
Let's see.
So, this question is, how are voting decisions made, and what mechanisms are in place to ensure fairness and prevent manipulation?
So, I guess I don't fully understand that one either, when it says how are voting decisions made, I guess it's just,
or maybe I'll ask you about how you guys collect votes and decide on results, perhaps.
Yeah, I mean, so, I think I answered that roughly.
So, basically, everything is purely on-chain, so that's the part which ensures fairness and prevents manipulation,
because the governance token can be used only for the governance purposes.
It cannot be transferred, it cannot be, like, anything besides just voting.
And how are the voting decisions made?
I think voting, in terms of, like, the usage of a particular strategy, is based on the common sense for the given proposal,
and how people made the decision about voting is, I would say, about the gut, whatever they feel is the best for the chain.
Let's take a look here.
How does LF0's voting system address the issue of quorum and ensure that a sufficient number of stakeholders participate in the decision-making process?
Yeah, I'm not sure what quorum is, but if you have any information about that, feel free to answer that.
Yeah, so, quorum essentially means minimum amount of people slash tokens used for deciding that the given proposal is qualifying to be resolved.
And in those terms, I'm not sure what the exact quorum we set, because we made this with the foundation,
so it's rather for the foundation to answer this question, but I think the kind of the decision was to make minimum amount of tokens to basically decide that,
okay, this proposal can be resolved, and later is based on the actual vote from the community.
Okay, sweet.
This is the last one here from the Google form, so the last question that we had submitted before today,
and I guess we will have some time remaining after this one,
so I'll go through and check the previous post, since it's obviously ended abruptly,
and see if anyone left any questions there.
And we'll invite you guys to leave some questions under this one, too.
And if there's anything on topic and relevant, we'll go ahead and go through that.
But first, I'll just ask the final question here that we received from the Google form.
So that would be,
what are the potential benefits and challenges of Alicera's voting system for users and developers,
and how does it compare to other decentralized governance models?
Yeah, that's a good one.
So I think right now there is not a huge amount of challenges.
I mean, if we just take like the governance platform,
we have kind of like, you know, good processes for ensuring the GovToken distribution
and the voting mechanisms, but I think the big challenge which is coming very soon
will be the EVM itself.
So having like, you know, two chains for one network,
kind of tokens, I mean, tokens,
and trying to ensure the governance in a fair matter between both of those,
that's the good question.
To be honest, we have still not decided how we're going to solve that.
So yeah, I think that's the challenge,
which is like ahead of us to basically think about.
In terms of like, you know, the development, etc.
of the platform of the solutions is, you know,
rust, I would say in one case.
So you, like the future developers,
potentially interested in working with Aleph,
is like, first, rust is not easy language,
but it's really cool when you learn that.
And second, in terms of like in development,
but I know that EVM is coming and it will be way easier
to make the products, etc.
But particularly in terms of ink,
there is not many tools,
not many, many stuff around libraries, etc.
And that's why we created like the Ascan, etc.
So just to make some sort of development easier.
But this is kind of problematic.
So the amount of documentation,
but for EVM, it will be really, really,
really good environment to work on
with all those features Aleph is working on.
It will be like really good,
really good environment and ecosystem, I would say.
Thanks for sharing, Shemek.
Now, I've gone through and looked at the previous space post here
and I wasn't able to find any live questions left
since we started that space and before it ended.
So if anyone has any burning questions
that they'd like to ask on the topic of Synchra
and A0's governance votes,
feel free to just drop them under this space here
if that's possible.
And if not, you can go ahead and drop them
on the previous one.
And if there aren't any,
then I'll go ahead and include the space now.
But yeah, if you have any,
feel free to drop them in.
By the way,
someone has posted a scam post
with an impersonation account
and do this one.
So everyone just be careful of that, of course.
Yeah, those scam posts are kind of,
I think, everywhere.
Even we have a lot of them,
Discord, it's like,
but you literally can do anything with that
besides manually banning those people.
I mean, that's kind of...
Yeah, at least in our channels,
it's kind of easier
because we can get rid of it,
pretty much instantly.
But when it's here on X,
it's pretty hard to get them taken down.
You often need quite a lot of people
reporting them
and the reporting system
on our end is a little bit tedious,
but that's okay.
Okay, so I can see questions
that anyone's dropped, please.
I guess we can go ahead
and end this session here then.
I'd just like to thank everyone
for joining for this AMA.
I'd like to thank you as well,
for joining and answering
the community's questions
about Sninkro.
You've got a lot of great information there
and I hope every listener here
got some value out of that.
And, yeah,
just like everyone
that the inflation updates
are being announced
so we'll be announcing that soon.
We will have another AMA,
well, not an AMA actually,
a strategy update,
the second one,
in a couple of weeks from now
and then we'll have the Alicero Talks session
another two weeks after that.
feel free to just say some final words
before we go to the pandemic.
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you very much for having me.
It was a big pleasure
to give this talk,
to literally work with you
that closely on the platform,
on everything around.
we are totally glad
to be a part of this
awesome ecosystem.
All right.
Well, I'll go ahead
and end the space then.
Cheers, everyone.
And probably day, night,
afternoon or morning
for everyone in the world.
