Hello, can everybody hear me?
Reactive you can hear me. Okay, great Morning, good morning. I realize as soon as I ask everybody that can hear me that they can
So yeah, all good. Sorry. Hi everybody. How you doing? And again, forgot your condenser. Just give a thumbs up if you guys do well. Good morning to everyone.
Welcome, welcome, welcome.
Yeah, welcome to the first, I don't know what to call this yet. All things NFTs is what we have gone with, but we'll come up with a name shortly. So Julian and I have an idea not too long ago and I remember I posted in the discord response is pretty positive that that's is the NFT department. You know, Twitter spaces are a great way to connect community.
It's a great way for us to get immediate feedback from you guys on how things are going, which you see with the marketplace. And in general, we wanted to just include a new channel of communication with you guys. So, yeah, we don't have a name for this, but we want to start during this on a relatively regular basis. The idea is
A very casual situation we all talk, we all discuss what's happening with NFTs in general, how Ultras marketplace falls in, and specifically what we're doing with the marketplace. So we'll be going over, you know, work we're busy with, what drops we're sort of trying to put together. Obviously certain drops that are
exclusive and we find an answer here we won't be going over but you know things just our general day today and then also talking about it. Jillian do you want to unmute yourself there quick thanks and yeah talk about the space in general so this is also going to be a platform where we're going to invite you guys over to you know raise questions talk to
and make it a two-way discussion. So without further ado, we can kick it off. And I thought I'd start off with something that's really interesting to me, and in fact, I want to actually pop it on the thread of this Twitter space, which is
Paris Blockchain Week, where a lot of people in my network who went and apparently was a huge success specifically for the NFT side of things. Let me just share this in here we go. Yeah, apparently the NFT side of things was amazing. A lot of bullishness in the NFT space and
a lot of people are very positive on NFTs. You wouldn't say that looking at the markets. But yeah, good news. And what I just shared here is BodeG Yacht Club, the Yacht Club IP being displayed in the Louvre in Paris, a huge step forward for NFTs in general. We all know BodeG Yacht Club are in a league of their own. But at the
same time leading the way like that. For me personally it's a big sign that NFTs are here to stay at least for the future. I wanted to hear what other people thought about that. Julian, what do you think? Yeah, I mean first of all good morning to everyone. I think there's a bit of delay on my side. You may have heard my coffee machine going off there.
good morning to you guys something a nice cup of coffee. Well this is a coffee morning so in fact I'm gonna make a coffee while you tell everybody what you think about boarding. Yeah man I mean we we've had a busy morning so far. I'll just jump off a meeting so maybe we'll go a bit but later the upcoming very very interesting
interesting project I think it's got a lot of potential so yeah anyone interested in the old train FT which I'm sure most of you are watching ultra unique and we've got something cool cooking out there we just got a full core on so yeah pretty cool but yeah talking about NFT Paris I mean I saw the
I saw the board, I kept board, I kept getting a shout out there and the thing is called the Louvre, is that I pronounced a Douglas? That is not a pronounce, sorry for my cock machine in the back. Listen to that thing go bad, all that. Yeah, I know. I think it's great. Listen, it's
Obviously there's a lot of eyes on it. It's a massive, massive venue to have these NFTs get displayed. And I mean, it's just another add on to the way that NFTs are expanding into the wider space, the wider, I guess you call it the normal world.
Yeah, exactly. It's just constant exposure. There's more and more players entering the space, more and more big players, corporates, web twos. So there's a lot of cool things happening, I must say. I mean, even just this week, you know, information about, you know, Microsoft
I've seen a lot of interesting comments on that, for example, like people saying it's bolted, not an add-on, and Microsoft's just making plays wherever they can at this point to get a piece of the pie. So who knows what they could develop in the future as well.
just interesting. I mean, there's a whole bunch of things that happen in the last few weeks, bringing a lot of attention to Web 3 in general. I mean, we pretty immersed in it as it is. So for us, these things don't seem as massive because to us, this is our everyday bread and butter. But when you actually take a step
back and look at it, there's quite a few big things happening at the moment. It's very exciting time. Yeah, and it's funny that Facebook, oh, meta, as they like to try and be called, is recalling their idea to implement NFTs into Instagram and transferable within Facebook, et cetera.
It's just an indicator that the space is getting rid of the non-traduit, the welcome platforms. For me, it's a good thing. We need to keep the small and community oriented. It doesn't mean we don't welcome big IPs, which brings me to
the next one, which is Sotheby's. Sotheby's are kicking off the natively digital oddly satisfying NFT auction. So they launch their own NFT auction sounds like running from March 17th to 24th, so actually ends today. And at Paris
It's a lucky weekend. They did a total of physical pieces or physical spaces. And you know, the Sotheby's have been a big player in the space anyway. They were originally auctioned off people's collection or people's piece. So, like I said, a lot of movement in the space.
immutable and polygon going into partnership which is the gaming space into a huge tiz. Obviously for us it's a great light, it's a good sign because the gaming industry and I've seen a lot of talk about this lately in my network. The gaming industry is becoming a big focus
in the Web Through Space always has been, but it's picking up some steam now. I think people are taking it seriously. And yeah, there's more spending, if I'm not mistaken, the most spending predicted to happen in the gaming space of Web Through than in all the other industries of Web Through combined by the next three or four years. Now, that's not financial advice.
I'm not here to tell you guys about anything. But, you know, we're planted firmly right within the middle of all of these intersecting sort of developments. And for us, it's really exciting and we're just trying to steer our projects that we list and we're trying to steer our platform in a way that is, you know, in line with the
developments. So on that, you know, I want to know from the community, everybody here, there's a lot of really dedicated Oculus news here and I'm sure a lot of you are tuning in either very late or very early in the morning. So anybody want to jump up and give their two cents on what's happening in the space in general. Yeah, and please remember it is early
So keep your questions like we are still waking up as you can hear me in Jolene on making coffee but anybody here want to speak feel free to raise your hand and we'll bring you up in the meantime we'll continue talking about what it is we are doing. I mean Douglas I don't know if you if you've seen
I know you're not as much in the gaming, especially as a gamer. You're very in touch with the news and whatnot, but there's a big streamer, Dr. Distrospects, someone that I... I've heard a lot about Dr. Distrospects, and you are quite right. I don't know enough about it. Just talk about it, but go ahead.
Yeah, sure. I mean, it's just an interesting time. Like we're speaking about these big players coming into the game, coming into the gaming, blockchain gaming industry. You have someone like Dr. Dush respect, who's a very prominent gamer, prominent streamer. I'm sure a lot of people in the audience know him. I'm sure a lot of people in the audience even know what's
The news that I'm sharing because it is quite massive, but anyway he's releasing a game. I think he's a director of the game or at least a big contributor and yeah, it's going to have an NFT integration aspect to it, which is huge. We're talking about someone with a massive following.
I don't know the numbers off the top of my head, but it could be quite a big catalyst to get the wider web to sort of gaming community into our space. There we go. He's got like five million subscribers, for example. He's a massive gaming streamer. Everyone knows him. He wins all the streaming cups or even all of them.
but a few of them. So yeah, this guy's heading a game that's going to come out. I'm not sure the timelines, but as far as I understand, it's a sort of survival extraction game where, you know, depending on the lute you collect during
During the round that you're playing if you extract with it then you'll be getting sort of a NFT, you know, version of the item that you that you've You've won from from this round of playing so it's it's quite it's gonna be interesting to see how it's sort of it how it's gonna work the dynamic sort of You know the more finer detail
But it seems to be a great user acquisition vehicle for just Web 3 and blockchain based games in general. Any integration on the blockchain at this point is powerful and it's caused a lot of controversy. He's got a lot of backlash because of it. But again, you need
the sort of things that happen and you need one flagship game to come out that attracts a lot of new users and then all of a sudden you get a blockchain gaming boom and you start seeing token prices explode, you start seeing a lot of volume coming into the space and I think this has got the potential to do that.
And we're talking about dead drop. We're talking about sorry. Dead drop, Dr. Distresspect. Yeah, I think that's the name. I think we got it here. Yeah. Looks Brad actually. There you go. That's the one.
Yeah, very very cool. I'm super excited for it as far as I know they've already done a drop Is it access pass that you can get to play the game and this will start the NFT? Yeah, it's called like a tower key or something Yeah, something like that again. I've just read a bit about it. I would love to
to do a lot more research into it, but it looks like it's going to be very promising, very excited about it. Very cool. Again, it's another indication that things are moving in the right direction for us, and it's going to be ups and downs. Again, if anybody feels like saying, "Oh, I see we have a request, somebody to speak." Here we go.
Connect in All right you are muted feel free to unmute and talk Crypto crypto crypto bro. What's up? Hey you guys good morning first of all Good morning. How you doing? Have you got a coffee? I got a coffee. Yeah, just getting started
What time is it where you are? It's 10.44 in the morning here. Same as you do. 11.44 here, but it's been a busy morning so far. Nice. Yeah, where you calling from? I call from the Netherlands.
Oh awesome, where in the Netherlands? The South, South of Netherlands, Traba. The one thing I was going to talk about as well as I was in Amsterdam recently and I went to two different NFT exhibitions was relatively underwhelmed, to be honest with you, but yeah, what do you have to share with us Christopher?
Yeah, but the dead drop game I just tried it yesterday. It's pretty pretty cool. It's like you get dropped in a big tower It's a vertical extraction game and the objective is to get to an extraction point while you collect a bunch of loot in the game so you can kill other guys collect
their loot and then try to not be killed and get to an extraction point and they can take the loot to your home base. So it's quite cool. Okay. Is there? Sorry, Doug. It's a bit of a delay. So we might talk over each other. But is there? Because you played the game, I mean, I haven't touched it yet.
Is there any blockchain integration yet or is it purely just like beta at this point? I don't think there is blockchain integration yet because the items do not seem to be NFT yet but I think the goal is that they will become NFTs. But you can they have like
a PFP collection so you can buy in-game character I think. It's like a 10k collection of game characters and they have those tower keys. The tower key was I paid I think 20 bucks and they can get early access to the game.
That's right. Okay, that's what I was going to ask. The actual the tower key is what gave you access. Yeah, the tower key is on the G you know what they're going for now. Yeah, they are $25, but you can find this count coach online and they get five bucks off. Okay, cool. I'm definitely gonna have a look at that. I want to get involved.
I'm starting to get good. I mean, if there's going to be some play to earn aspect here, I'm definitely interested. And I mean, the other part of it is sort of how they combat cheaters and all of that, I would love to have a deep dive into that aspect. Because as soon as you start earning money on these mainstream games with a lot of players, you're going to run into these problems a lot. Yeah, for sure.#
And it's also like... What do you... Yeah, you go, sir? It's also like when you drop in the game, the stakes are quite high. If you bring your valuable loot and you get killed, you just lose your loot immediately. So it's quite intensive to play. I see. The adrenaline aspect is there. It's like... Yeah, for sure.
It's not like a simple FPS shooter where you get killed, respawn and all is good, you just lose your loot. So the way this is being released is essentially as a standard title and then with much
later. Here's to hear actually what you guys think about that sort of release strategy because obviously introducing it to a wider market first and then specifying on blockchain aspect of it might be a clever move especially with the bad rack that blockchain games are getting.
I think that's key actually just to mark it yourself towards a wider audience and maybe drop the bomb a little bit later on once you've got the eyes on you because a lot of people will just see the integration and see the word NFTs or whatever, especially more mainstream and it will instantly put people off.
I can't necessarily understand why the whole time we got such a bad connotation, but I think it's just education at this point. And like I said earlier, this game could be sort of a catalyst to get a lot of mainstream game is interested. I mean like Duckey-Dash did, it's an NFT game, it's Uglash,
As performing 95% of Web 3 games in the moment by the way and Patrick who is in the audience is actually got access to Play Duque Dash. Yeah, and I mean that just also showed you how it attracted normal traditional gamers. I mean the Valorant Pro was winning
one the golden key for example. So it's an avenue to really bring these guys on and just because it's play turn doesn't mean that traditional game was won't be interested. I feel like that's just an excuse at this point that it will attract cheaters and all of that. I think once we have really good playable games with
You know the validity to earn in a way that's you know reasonable I think it'll attract a little attract a lot of people We'll have to see how it goes. I'm really interested to see how dead dead drop goes in the future as well. I would love to get it access key and test it out Well appreciate you coming up
crypto bro you got anything else to add? Anything else you want to talk about questions maybe? I think I have to take a question or two. Perhaps I had a question about the marketplace in the ultra app. Obviously we will have like tokenized games in the future. How are we looking to distinguish
English like games from collectible Uniques. Is there a plan for that or just over and actually why? Yeah, we've actually been in talks and that's been a specific conversation we've been having. As much as I can't tell you, I'm not on the developer team so I can't tell you what the progress of that is but we've made it very clear that
We want games to be identifiable on the marketplace. We want NFTs to be identifiable. Currently, the UI and UX upgrades are in motion. I think it's going to be relatively, I don't want to use words soon. It relatively is a new feature. But UI and UX upgrades have been
And then a big focus point for Julian and myself because we want to get the marketplace to do the same standard as other marketplaces in terms of navigation. And a big part of that is obviously, you know, what can I say, separating what the different pieces are and how they function within the ecosystem. So definitely games are going to be identifiable immediately.
Yeah, they'll be properly categorized and you'll be able to identify what's unique and a lot of this like Douglas said will be rolled out with the UI/UX improvements. Needless to say, it'll be streamlined for the end.
user to identify exactly what is what? I see. Yeah, I think that's an important step for sure. Maybe like a little icon next to the unique that shows whether it's a collectible, whether it's a utility unique, or whether it's a game. Exactly. That's exactly what it is.
Yeah, and I can't remember what the final decision was, but overall we know that there's going to be an easy identifier. I can't remember if it's a little simple or if it's a separate sort of page, but we'll, you know, as soon as those updates are publicly available, you guys will see. But we have made that a specific talking point.
you can be sure that you'll be able to tell immediately what's what. Cool. Okay. Thanks. That was my question. No problem. Thank you, Crypto Bro. If anybody else wants to, I'm going to, please don't feel bad. I'm going to remove you from speakers. I feel so bad because it's such a harsh term to use for move from speakers. But there you go. If anybody else has any questions or anything
to add the conversation, please request to speak and we will definitely bring you up. Moving on specifically, I don't know if anybody saw but Pokemon, the company that owns the IP are busy advertising for corporate development principle, which has experience in Web 3 blockchain NFTs in the metaverse.
That's kind of cool. I actually know a few people in my network have applied to that position, but so Pokemon are considering moving to Web 3 or at least not fully, but at least exploring the idea, which is going to be a big IP moving over. That's exciting. I don't know if anybody else here has a plan with Pokemon in the beginning.
I am well versed but wasn't the biggest player but I'm interested what was the specific position they were hiring for was it a corporate development principle is what is called what are they
So here, let me see here what you'll do, what you'll bring 12 years of experience in a number of different years of corporate development. So good luck to my network, but it does talk about how you need to have a background in Web 3 NFT blockchain. Here we go, deeply connected to a network and investors and entrepreneurs in the technology
sector is above Web 3 and Metaverse, deep knowledge and understanding of Web 3 including blockchain technologies and NFT and/or Metaverse. So I like the fact that they have avoided like Metaverse officer or NFT expert in the job title, but that is basically what they're looking for. Yeah, very, very cool. I mean,
Yeah, it's just another sort of level on all of these big players coming into the space, creating a lot of traction, creating a lot of noise. Yeah, I guess it will be interesting to see when the crypto markets turn in the right direction.
but I mean again I'm not a not a specialist not giving any advice or anything like that we just we just here for the right to see how it all unfolds. One hundred percent. One thing I wanted to actually bring up I saw this this morning, Bryson who is in our sort of communication network with all
He's been named as a captain in the second, what's it called, you galabs always have such an interesting name there. Where is it? So he's been named as a captain in you galabs is a second, I don't want to say sprint, let me just see what's called Patrick, maybe you know what it's called, but yeah so Bryson has been named
named A-Captain, which is pretty cool because I know that we are in contact with him. I'm not going to, like, not for any collaborations or anything, everybody just in contact for future collaboration possibilities. But yeah, he's now connected to Google Labs and he's getting some traction on that side, so that's pretty cool. Patrick has a request to speak, so he will correct me on these things.
Thanks for joining us, rates. Good to have you on. How did you guys start all the fun without me? No, I was just under the second trip of the other side. Thank you second trip. I had it open here, but I think I moved to a different article.
I'm not too well versed on this entire campaign. To be honest, I wasn't really looped in with the first trip. So I don't know man. I jumped into the UGA Labs ecosystem because I fo-mode into a swirpass. So I'm kind of
I'm just crawling my way into it, but I haven't bought any other side a deed yet. I would love to do or to have a quota or something like that, but I will be watching the livestream definitely. I think it's tomorrow. So, so yeah, to answer your question, I don't really know what the captains do or how it works, but I will be watching the stream. So definitely will
I'll give you guys the update when I see it. Well, if you feel like splitting the cost for another side deed, I'll go in with you. And I'm just getting in. I'm down to just be a uglab some fanatic.
what they're doing like Eugalybs always might go to for how to do an NFT collection properly and as much as they have funding that we certainly do not they just the campaigns are always just genius in the way that they engage is everybody I mean again Ducu Dash outperforming 95% of Web3 games it's not a massive
massive pool of competition at the moment, but it's still big enough that that's an impressive stack. But yeah, there's a phrase that's that makes more sense every day that's called that is don't fade yoga. And it's for a reason, man, these guys have been at the top since the beginning. And I don't know if you've noticed, but they have been
some really complicated issues going on, for example, with doodles. They did a very, they did a very like conflictive statement the other day that they're not going to be an NFT collection. And so doodles, moonbirds, evolve and crumbling and seems
that the only two blue chips are in my opinion that are standing strong yet are a suki board APR club. I mean, eugleps and clonix. Those three are the ones that are still standing strong, but doodles and moodbirds met at the floor price when crushing down after some recent events. And you know what? Like I wanted to actually bring up
the whole doodle statement thing in this conversation because for me personally up I built whatever I have now like career wise and getting into alternate everything completely on NFTs and and as much as I understand NFTs can sometimes be taken in the wrong way or you know they're bad actors in space for me it's just like if you're an
the community that built you and NFT community is the one that built you so don't go around distancing. So for me I fully understand it and again I agree with you boy Abyoklub, even a Zuki with the founder of a Zuki saying he's basically done run pulls in the past that still didn't kill the project and that just speaks to how well the campaigns are working.
Yeah. Yeah. Thanks, Charlie. Sorry, I'm a bodice these later. That's all right.
So, you know, in the spirit of these casual conversations, and again, June and I are hoping to do this more regularly, and you know, throw a thumbs up or a purple heart or whatever, if you think these things are interesting to you guys and you want to see more of it and have more of this platform to talk to our community.
But if anybody has any questions specifically about the unique marketplace personally, I think I'm awake enough now to take them and Julian if you are then maybe we can get to feel some questions But you know overall again Julian and I work in really hard in tandem with all the other departments Patrick being a huge part of that
We're trying to always direct the marketplace towards your guys' interests and definitely with new user acquisition that's one of our big focuses and I think no one understands that better than the community that's already involved. So if you guys ever have any suggestions feel free to feel them for this goal.
feel free to jump onto these platforms and tell us what you think. And we will always take the hard criticism as well as possible. We'll always take constructive criticism even better. So yeah, if anybody has any questions about Mark's Place, please raise your hand and I will add you. But just to give you an idea, Julian and
I usually spend most of the week talking to new potential drops. We've got a lot of the hackathon entries that we're busy talking to. And one of the things we've noticed recently is we want to make sure that these drops are ready to drop on the marketplace. We've been in a position where we want to get as many creators we want to, you know,
create content for you guys to engage with. Recently we've decided that it's a good idea to start building or start helping these projects build a bit more before listing them on the market place, which is why I'm sure you guys can see. Our content pipeline has been limited recently and that's because we are, you know,
not putting more restrictions on these projects, but more making sure these projects are in a better place, not only to promote new user acquisition, but also to provide more value to you guys in the short term, rather than promising things in the long term. And I think that's our goal at the moment is to make sure that those projects are where they are. So at the moment, we're talking to a lot of hackathon projects that end
and I see ultra apes is in the crowd. We've been talking to ultra apes a lot as well. So I unique apes and I don't know if you want to jump up unique apes and talk about what you guys are building at the moment. Obviously just so you all know we haven't got any dedicated dates for a launch pad drop or anything but unique apes
have been really amazing in talking to us about what they wanted to even. We've been doing our best to help them do that and that's the whole point of our marketplace is to help creators build the project they want. So unique apps if you want to jump up and say anything feel free. If not, if you're a camera shy don't worry. Yeah, do you learn anything to add to my monologue
No, I mean a pretty well put. I think you hit the nail on the head. I mean at the end of the day we won our projects, projects launched on Ultra to be ready. We want them to benefit the Ultra ecosystem as a whole, but I mean, yeah, at the same time we would love for them to create different
different channels of value, different channels of user acquisition and just grow the value for our users and just the space in general. So we're taking our time, we're making sure projects are ready to be launched. So we want to keep the quality and our standards to a certain level and really
generate that value for our community and by generating that value hopefully attract a lot more users to the ecosystem for us all to trade with and communicate with and be part of the vibe because honestly I don't see many communities like the ultra community you guys are great especially the die-hard guys
It's been fantastic. I've only been with Ultra for about five months now, but I must say you guys leave a really great impression on the community in general and I think as Ultra grows in the coming months, I think you guys will be really important and a big proponent. So for us, it's about rewarding.
guys and yeah and keep the show going so yeah thanks thanks for that. Keeping the show going is a perfect analogy and you know I was going to make it clear that Patrick acts as a middleman for us when we're very nifty in the and a few side of things and Patrick is always communicating with us feedback to us and we always take
into account and yeah big shout out to Patrick for that but also big shout out to you guys in the community who speak up and say like you know this is shit or this is great and we take both pieces of criticism to heart and we always try and you know change direction if need be and and push on through if we really believe in it at the end of
We try to have you guys best interest in hot. We don't always get it right, but we are building and that's all point where community focused. So we make mistakes, but we are definitely here to sort of build as best as market faces we can. And we got something special. Like I've been with Altris since June and July now.
And in the short year that I've been here, I feel like your guys' usernames have been burned into my brain. I know when it's something's coming from crypto bro or you call or ultradict, I know it's something serious. So we stand up when we take a listen. And yeah, just super grateful to you guys for being so involved and building alongside.
I see ultra added to the question which is yellow panther announced that new wallets will be dropped one of the three new unique for different utilities collectible raffle entornment. Is this also the case for the other four influences? Is this raffle different from the gather banners collection?
Patrick, Patrick, please. Yeah, I wanted to jump in here because I knew this question was definitely going to come. We haven't done any official announcement about it yet, so I can understand why there may be some doubts. But just to give you guys a little bit of context, as many of you may know, March is the
trial month for some of the ambassadors that are onboarding into the ambassador program. And what we wanted to do is create some type of tool that they can use to motivate people to sign up at ultra to basically incentivize them to join and create accounts. So with the NFT
We created a small NFT collection that has different types of utility attached to each. In March, we're doing a closed campaign, especially with ambassadors, to basically measure their success, see how they do, see how they deliver.
Yeah, so March was going to be more closed in regarding ambassadors, but we also just so you guys know we're not going to leave you guys out in April. We will have a different type of campaign that will be more open and it's going to be definitely connected with your referral link. So you will have chances to win these NFTs. You will have chances to
use your referral link and gift these NFTs to your referrals and we're gonna do even more fun stuff like a leaderboard and with some cool prizes I can't go into more details because Nat is gonna get angry but we have something come up with everybody so don't worry. Thank you for jumping in on that Patrick and don't worry, Nat is not here and no one will tell.
But yeah, I hope that answered your question ultra addict. We are again, we're always focusing on new user acquisition, trying to reward people coming to the ecosystem as well as balancing that with rewarding the long time OGs who are helping us build out the ecosystem. So yeah, bear with us. We always try to balance the rewards
system, but ultimately the more users that come to Ultra, the more you guys get rewarded. So we are Patrick's Ambassador Program has been working like a charm. He's been sharing the numbers with us and we are super stoked and super impressed. It just gives us more people to interact with, more people to build with, and you guys more friends to talk to.
We're happy about that. So thank you Patrick for putting together that ambassador program. And yeah, the NFTs we obviously finalizing now, but we're looking forward to the next phase of the campaign where we get to give you guys all the access to those referral links and reward that. So awesome. We got another
Another 20 minutes or so, I'm very surprised that people aren't asking more questions about the marketplace, but also very relieved. Thank you for taking into account that it is early morning for me. It might be afternoon for Julian, but again he's right, it has been a busy morning and we're constantly trying to find new projects and develop existing ones to get
30 minutes 30 minutes 30 minutes space I thought it was an hour
I think it was originally set for 30 minutes. I mean, we've gone over a bit. I'm actually not sure to be honest. What was it set for? It was set for 30 minutes, but maybe we'll extend it to 45 if everybody's fine with that. I see there aren't too many questions today, so appreciate that guys.
Again, give a purple heart or a thumbs up if you guys want us to continue doing these kinds of things we're thinking maybe every two weeks or so. Just so we can sync up with you guys, you guys can ask us questions if there's something that develops in the marketplace. Excuse me, and you guys feel like you want to say something about it. This is the place to do it. And Julian and I always, you know, respond into criticism, especially#
because we know if it comes from Patrick it comes from the community. So yeah we wanted to create these spaces so you guys can communicate all of that to us. And a big thank you to Crypto Bro for jumping up and giving us two cents not only on Dead Drop but also asking questions about the marketplace. Much appreciated I think.
I think, you know, as we, I mean, obviously we'd like to gauge the interest from you guys to see if this is something we could continue doing, but I mean, I, for myself, I've had a lot of fun. Good to chat and just chat about general news and catch up with the community. I think, you know, as we continue doing these, we can get more guys on stage, maybe get more guys a bit more comfortable
to chat to us, ask questions and just have good vibes because I mean that's what we're about at the end of the day. Building and good vibes, that's what we like. So yeah, I mean as we continue to do this, hopefully we'll hear a few more of you guys appear, share some of your opinions, have some cool discussions. I think it's a cool forum to do that.
connected with you guys have some fun. That's what's about. And it's a more improvised manner. It's a different time than normally. Normally we do AMAs in the evening and you know after work, but this is like in the morning everybody's fresh with the caffeine starting to get into your system. So I really like this.
initiative guys I'm going to be trying to to log in and to hear you guys for sure I always have fun hearing you guys and jump in and yeah and jump in and speak Patrick because you know the three of us usually talk at least 20 times a day so why why not have another place to chat more I'd be happy to
I mean, I know there's a lot of cool stuff to talk about. We can talk about stuff related to ultra or general NFT with three games, whatever. And yeah, I also wanted to say like if anybody from the community wants to, you know, jump in and talk also we I think we know each other pretty well and it's the place to do it. So thank you guys for
for building this cool initiative. Of course. It came out of a conversation. I've got some connections of GameStop who work there in the NFT marketplace. It came out of a conversation that I was having with them where they really struggle. There's a lot of red tape in GameStop and I'm not going to shoot on another marketplace or anything, but there's a lot of red tape there with community
engagement and they don't do Twitter spaces, they don't do a high level of engagement, etc. And I mean a few marketplaces do Twitter space, etc. But we're super interconnected with our community and I thought like, well, we're not doing that and we have the option to and it seems like a waste. So that's when you know, me and Julia wanted to do this a lot earlier, but the weeks
in 2023 have blurred together. It has been a crazy 2023 so far. And we're finally glad that we can deliver the first one. And in all honesty, super happy with the turnout. Thank you to everybody who's jumped in. I know that some of you are joining in. Ultra-Apes have, sorry, unique Apes have said that they are at work. So yeah, appreciate you jumping in.
while you're working and a few of you are jumping in early in the morning or really late in the evening and we super appreciate you guys taking any opportunity to communicate with us and join in and listen. We hope it's been relatively informative and eventful and at least entertaining. I think that, you know, during the drive we did schedule
this for 30 minutes and we've got work to do which will benefit you guys in the end. So we're going to jump back to work. I think in future we can do 45 minutes, 30 minutes, but we'll see how it goes. If you guys have any feedback on how this went and you're not in the mood to jump on now and give us feedback, feel free to put in the Discord, put in the Telegram group.
And you know maybe in future we can bring on some guests again. We want to keep this as casual as possible. That's why I'm swearing swearing is allowed here. This is a safe space guys. So feel free to swear. Um, and yeah, other than that, I think that's it. But guys, thank you so much for jumping on Patrick. Thank you for speaking. Crypto brother. Thank you for jumping in.
And as always Julian, thank you for being the strength behind me. Appreciate you. (laughs) - All good, man. Y'all, thanks guys for showing up and I hope to help the connectivity guys more in the future as we continue to do this. And yeah, it's been a good time. Thanks for listening.
Actually, I want to pop something up sorry Patrick to interrupt but if you guys have any ideas for names of these towns and events these Twitter spaces feel free to pop it in the discord Maybe Patrick we can even do a little voting thing I had an idea it was the name that we that we used for our
Rocket League team do you remember that one Julian or what the word from homies know the other one Julian knows it he's laughing now For some reason I caught here Patrick I'm not sure Patrick saying that the the name you guys
you for your rocket league team should be the name of this event. I think it was the work from homies. Was it the work from homies? Well, if the community has any ideas, please feel free to pop in the discord. Patrick Maybrook can organize a voting system or something to decide on the name W. Cool.
Awesome. Thank you guys. Cool guys have a great one. Have a good day.
Cheers guys, catch up soon.
