Hello, hello, good morning, good evening, good night, wherever you guys are, how's everyone
doing today? Hey man, how you doing? Good, good, just getting the word out on this space
and getting everyone in here, whiskey's in here, bringing up some more panel members,
still waiting for that co-host title because it's the only show of me as a speaker, you
know, don't put me in the cockshed just yet, okay? I'm waiting for Ash to come, ah, so
we'll bring Pulsar up as well, I think we got Ash Robin, a very avid gamer I must say
or can say, coming up as well, hey Mark, welcome, welcome, spring roll, welcome, waiting for
a few more guys, let me see if we can get Coop in here as well, I think he has been
in spaces for a long time this day, so might not pop up, but yeah, we can do some light
intros already, whiskey, maybe you can introduce yourself.
I mean, my introduction is everybody already knows who I typically am, so there is no introduction
needed. Yes, and normally the co-host introduced the next person, but I will do it, and Mark,
can you introduce yourself, please, to the audience? And Mark is not here either. People
are trickling, and everybody is starting to get that fact. Hold on, Mark, don't cut
off the co-host. As we're just starting, and people are starting to trickle in, and everybody
is starting to get understanding about what we're doing here in the Alpha and all that,
you know, nitty gritty T, retweet, like, and comment, this space, get it out there, we
want everybody here today, we are showcasing an absolute banger that I don't think everybody
understands. Pulsar game, I put it up on the Jumbotron, if you know, you know, but if you
don't know, you want to know, get familiar, get situated, it's going to be a great space.
And on that note, Mark, please, introduce yourself.
Yeah, it's Mark here, I'm just a dog on the internet, that came from Selina to Avax, you know,
a great community over at Avax, so that's where I can go, back to you, Adio.
And the next person who would like to introduce themselves, I brought them up, the man, the
myth, the legend, Ash Robin, tell the community about yourself.
What's up, guys? Thanks for having me on here today, Elio, and everyone else that's up here.
Yeah, I'm Ash, I game, I make content around NFTs, I don't know what else to say, man,
I'm glad to be here, and I'm excited to see what we get into today.
You know, Ash, you always come off as such a, sorry, I'm still trying to get over this sickness
that I've been fighting for the last two weeks, you always come off as such a humble human
being, but we know the pull you got, young man, and you're an absolute legend, and I
hope you know that, especially in the ETH communities, if you don't know Ash and you
are ETH dominant, you got to exit Web3, you just don't know what the fuck you're doing.
On the next, let's get Scottie B to introduce yourself.
Yo, what's up? Scottie B here, I'm on the team at Cozyverse, we are building games,
originally started out on Eek now on Avax, and I'm definitely an avid gamer myself,
and playing entirely way too much Power World lately.
Scottie, how's that, wait, wait, wait, wait, how's that Power World Avax community
server holding up, is it still performing up to your wishes, my sir?
It's going great, actually, they applied some patches and everything is running smoothly now.
Sweet, yeah, I've seen, so if anyone didn't know, we have a community server Avax,
I'm not sure if it's pinned on the gaming icon right now, but we might pin it up a little bit later.
But yeah, it's really cool, good reception, I think, we're going to try out and mess around more
with these community server initiatives, because it's just fun to bring the people together,
and I think the reception so far has been super great.
I want to give a little shout out to Acilla, which is a new gaming guild,
community manager on Avax, he cannot be here right now, but it was his idea,
and I think, yeah, it's popping off quite well.
My main question though is, Scotty, you've got to answer this as abruptly and quickly as possible,
you don't like the flashcards when you're sitting there with a psychiatrist,
I need you to answer this, no ums, no ifs, no whats.
Mash or you, who's better?
We all know what Mash's forte is, who's the better builder of Fortnite?
Oh my god, Mash will dumpster me, hands down, he's a builder, he's a Fortnite gamer.
Okay, that's all I needed to know, so we all heard it here, it's a recorded space,
Mash will dunk Scotty B, end of question.
Yeah, that's not even a question.
On to the next panel speaker, I see here, A.J. Mart, introduce yourself my guy.
Hey guys, what's up, good to be here.
So I'm Alvaro Martin, A.J. Martin, I've been two decades already in the video game industry,
since 2017, buying and selling crypto, doing my stuff in Tradingview and so on,
and since 21, we started building Pulsar.
So it will be a pleasure to talk about it today and share this time with you guys.
Thank you for the invitation.
Great one, great one, A.J., man, we're all advantageous followers of you.
I mean, I'm sitting there like a lurker in the background following every one of your movements.
If I had a fly on the wall, I'd probably be in your bedroom right now in your office.
I'm looking around, I'm looking around, I don't see you, but I believe you.
And now I just got to see, who's behind the Avalanche account today?
Can you introduce yourself?
Of course, yeah, total.
I feel like maybe I should pop down and come up as the gaming account.
I've got the gaming account up on my phone, would you rather the gaming account be...
Hold on, 100%, 100%. Bring the gaming account here.
No questions asked.
All right, I'm going to switch out here, stand by.
And of course, I can never not forget, you know, my lovable spring roll.
Everybody loves a spring roll.
Please introduce yourself.
I'm a spring roll.
Everyone loves a spring roll.
I do shit in Web3, specifically more on the IRL side.
If you see that Vibes account, could you get him up as...
Could you get them up as well?
Love it, if that is a possibility.
For sure, for sure.
I think we're going to go into the first question I would have for Mr.
Can I call you Mr. AJ? Is that cool?
No, Mr. Yes, just AJ, man. How is it?
Just AJ. Okay, Mr. AJ. Sir AJ. No, sorry, just kidding.
Yeah, so you come from a background of gaming and crypto.
What makes you interested in crypto in general?
What was the move for you that made it exciting to go into this venture?
Oh, that's interesting.
So I remember when Bitcoin back in the days hit like, I don't remember, 3K or something,
and my cousin came and told me, yo, it's 3K.
Now it's the time to buy this thing.
What do you think?
That was very many times ago.
And I told him, no, man, it's crashing.
But I didn't have any Bitcoin.
So basically, one day I dropped all my shares of Tesla and so on.
I bought Bitcoin, I bought Ethereum, I got interested in the space,
and I started learning basically.
I'm following every day the development and the different advantages
that can provide the website, like probably everybody at the beginning,
we didn't know what the heck was that.
And at the beginning, you get interested in the profits,
but then you learn how everything works.
And how this link with the gaming is because it was starting fascinating me
how good idea is to replace entire economy engine of games
and put the blockchain in the middle.
For instance, if you play World of Warcraft, you know that you have a whole secondary market.
I played a lot, War and Order was this forex game that is still already out there.
And, man, was people getting banned left and right to just wanted to sell their accounts
or maybe make some profit out of it.
And actually, what started interesting me, the idea of A, why...
I mean, I'm super fan of multiplayer games and I started with Ultima Online,
so you can imagine since when.
And, man, I don't know, the future is going to be these kind of online modes in games, MMOs.
Of course, all the industry are going to stand solo player and whatnot.
But, man, it's going to bring another level.
All of this Web3, when we are going to replace the economy engines in the future games.
And additionally to that was very spicy.
The part of A, if a company...
I work at King for some years being tech director, looking for 300 million active player was crazy.
And it was when they were part of Activision Blizzard.
Everybody knows here what was doing Activision Blizzard and, man, was...
Taking to my mind the idea, if this was tokenized and the players are super pissed,
they just need to protest dropping the bloody hell token of the company and making them change.
So I thought that was something healthy in a way.
And I started building a few things around in my free time around the technology,
experimenting how to replace the critical parts of the infrastructure of what we know as Web2 games.
And, man, one day I got fed up with how things were going in previous companies.
And I abandoned a huge yearly salary to just drop everything and say, fuck it.
I just want to make something new, something interesting, something powerful for the future.
That's why we are here. That's it.
Nice, nice, nice. And how is the journey going so far?
Are you happy where you're at now or were you more happy at the other position?
Just add me one more moment before we answer that question.
Ladies and gentlemen, mistresses, kings, queens, dogs, cats, wolfies, whatever you call yourselves nowadays,
if I can get 69 retweets, likes and comments on the space link that's posted in the Jumbletron,
I heard, Alfa, that Elio might be giving away a wolfie.
Yeah, so long story short, retweets and comments, the tweets pinned up above.
I will be giving away an additional wolfie.
So for people in the group which we have, we have an additional one.
So essentially two are going to be given away.
So long story short, two wolfies to be up for grabs.
Cody, get your dogs in here and we'll go on.
I completely forgot the question, but I think it was somewhere along the lines.
Are you happy with the decision you made? Because it was kind of a radical move.
It was very radical.
And I got lucky that maybe my wife was crazy or something.
But I remember one Friday I called my co-founder, Fernando, the game director.
And I told him, I will drop my job and we are going to start with this shit.
And after a month, my wife is telling me that I feel more happy so that she can see it.
What I see is tons of work because you need to start a company,
call your friends in the industry to help you out with the project, organize absolutely everything.
You can imagine the mess that is make a startup and try to disrupt the market.
But man, it's a hell of a ride.
I think we are doing something unique which fulfills myself.
I think the journey is worth it.
And what makes balls are unique?
It's a nice bridge towards the in-depth of the game.
So I tried it out yesterday.
Unfortunately, you guys have maintenance, but I did try out the demo in the dungeon.
I failed horribly, but I tried several times.
I was live streaming to the other community managers in the headquarters in AVEX Discord.
But yeah, we really were pleasantly surprised.
But yeah, what was kind of the choice?
Why did you guys move to Web3?
And why balls are and why is it different?
There are three questions.
There are many ones.
Okay, I will try to answer doing my best.
So basically what we wanted to build was the inception idea
that I put on the table to Fernando was,
hey, why don't we make something like the Bitcoin mining,
but instead of mining with machines that understand me when I say do nothing
in terms of video games, machines that are mining, why are not your units?
And that was appealing to me like an RTS.
It was like perfect.
I played a lot of StarCraft 1, StarCraft 2, not too much,
but the first one I played like 24 hours.
So it was very appealing to me that the first steps in StarCraft was,
hey, you just put your base, you start mining minerals,
and then afterwards gas and so on, and you have the progression and the intensity,
and then your barrel, you have fun.
And that core loop was very appealing to me in my mind with the blockchain behind,
because I thought that was easy to understand.
Then we started crafting the different tests in what to do with Pulsar,
or this Pulsar today.
And basically we created a multi-mode MMO RTS.
What the heck is all of that?
Basically it's the mixture or the influence of StarCraft about how you play,
World of Warcraft or any other RPG about the NFT progression.
So we only sell the level once, and we have 100 levels.
And then something that marked me in the past was the Evo line
that we are using for this kind of sense of player-driven economy.
And then on top of that, we mixed it up with the Forex economy,
which I played the last few years, a few games,
and actually Fernando is playing one nowadays even.
So we are making something very unique to wider the audience of the games
I started with, which was Settlers, Warcraft 1, then StarCraft,
Command & Conquer and so on and so forth.
So that is what we have.
And what we knew was to make that a reality in Web3,
we needed to create all the infrastructure on top of whatever the blockchain.
Then I studied all of the blockchain out there,
sent emails, trying to ping people in the different discords and everywhere,
trying to do my tests and my studies in a few documents
about how to do what I wanted, and I couldn't find any alternative for it.
Until I came to the Discord of Avalanche,
and one of the things that makes different pools are nowadays
that was impossible if Avalanche didn't release the subnets.
Actually, when I talked with the guys, it was a fantastic experience.
I dropped questions, the people started answering me in Discord.
It was something very frustrating in the chat.
But then we had calls with the tech team, it was fantastic.
I was telling them my crazy ideas,
and they were debating if it's possible or not,
and maybe you can do A, you can do B.
AJ, I just got a quick question for you in a minute,
and I don't mean to cut you off.
No, I was finishing.
My main question is, why Avax?
What made you choose the Red Dorito as a launch?
Actually, I was in the process of that,
because I studied, let me recap a bit,
I studied Solana, Polygon, even I got met with people of Cardano.
I remember back in the days, the people of Polygon were telling me,
well, we are building this thing of the supernets and whatever.
First thing first, if you don't have technical support
with the expert of your base layer
that you are going to base on your infrastructure,
you're completely fired because you are developing completely blinded.
Even though people say, ah, blockchains are open source,
it's fantastic and whatever, yeah,
but those blockchains are built during years and years,
and they have a know-how, if that know-how,
it's not well-documented and well-driven,
how you learn what to do or what are the different capabilities,
it's impossible to make it.
What made myself to choose a launch was the people,
the people that were supporting me, telling me what to do,
how to do it, which things I can learn.
Then, of course, I was posting them,
hey, guys, this doesn't work for me or I don't understand that,
maybe we need to improve this, maybe we need to improve that.
A good relationship with the developers and sharing ideas,
knowledge and so on is essential.
Pulsar cannot be what it is today,
which is a tiny thing that we hope is going to explode
in the future without the Avalanche team.
That's my...
Very nice.
Spring, you had a question?
I'm really...
I'm looking at your Twitter right now,
and I'm really liking what I'm seeing with regards to the game.
I'm wondering, where did you draw your inspiration from
with regards to the style,
and when it comes down to it as it is more of a mining type of game,
how do users get their rewards, so to speak?
The inspiration for our game became a bit of
how do we make a kind of dark story about the human race
if we all decide to, hey, we need to evolve.
There is a whole story about the big consider one
and so on that we posted around.
The styling at the end is a ping pong between the lead artists
throwing me ideas, the guys that are in the illustration part,
and me basically with tons of influence of whatever I see,
like Ghost in the Shell and those kind of things.
Actually, we started with that idea in mind
to do a kind of gothic or dark kind of Ghost in the Shell
mixed with a bit of matrix here, there and there,
and it is what it is.
Of course, we have tons of inspiration in reading and plenty of things,
so everything at the end makes a mixture of styles.
It's going to evolve, anyways, it's going to evolve
because we have five tiers in the game for the aspect of the NFTs.
What was the second part of the question, please?
The second part was about the reward mechanism
and how the players will be able to both scale up within the game
but also, of course, be able to find a reason to consistently play it
as it is a mining-related game.
Yeah, well, it's not a mining-related game, I would say.
We have three different softwares.
Miners, builders and warlords.
Everybody is going to start being a bit of everything
starting from the mining.
If someone is thinking that Pulsar is a mining simulator
or something like that, it's far from it.
Right now, we have 50 million Pulsar
before we go to mainnet in public lands.
But the journey at the end starts with,
we give you a free pack of NFTs,
you have a referral code, fantastic.
You enter the game and you start in a land,
either a public land or the land of whoever,
your guild, your friends, or maybe someone you even don't know.
So the pleasure journey is going to start in a very recognizable manner
compared with StarCraft.
You have your base, you put your miners to work,
then you start doing stuff.
You're going to recognize at the very beginning
that you're going to start leveling up.
Things are going to blink in the screen
and you have a little thing that is a level.
There is one, it's starting the player progression.
This is very typical in forex economy games
where you start in a very simple manner
and then things get more and more complicated
and it's not like a shot of adrenaline in 15 minutes
unless you decide to do a mission or something like that.
But you are going to mine around in the public lands
is what we call a game in Aftrop.
It's what we are doing right now
where we put publicly available Pulsar
to bootstrap the future liquidity.
And while you mine, you need to refine
because there are miners, refineries,
and then you have your combat units.
Then the game is going to introduce you
more and more into the battles.
So once you start and you start doing some upgrades around,
you're going to get bored
because maybe you need to wait one hour
for an upgrade or something.
And then you have your button to go to the dungeons
and it's already cooperative.
Right now we don't have yet PPP mode
because that requires tons of balancing and polishing.
But you can enjoy it with your friends in the land
searching for nests that are around to kill them
or you just go and you do some dungeons.
Dungeons are inspired in the Rift of Diablo
where you are going to experience that
the more dungeons you do,
the more dungeons you go down and down,
deeper and deeper, things are going to get more challenging,
not more difficult because the mechanics
and so on are kind of the same.
And one difference that is when you start feeling
a bit the difference between StarCraft
or the others with Pulsar
because maybe you don't have the ability
of a StarCraft pro-pleasure.
I don't have it.
However, you can come back to your land,
do your mining, go to the dungeons,
your units are quite experienced,
and then you can invest those resources
that you can mine around to level up your units.
Of course, the unit has three different types of rarity
which helps a bit on the progression.
But you can, it's more friendly
because you can balance your skills and abilities
with the time you need.
AJ, I don't mean to cut you off again,
but we do have another question
and I know that Vibes has been waiting patiently.
He's been pinging me like about 69 times here
to ask his question before we get ahead of that.
Before we get ahead of that,
I don't see enough retweets, likes, and comments in this space.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you have any questions
for AJ and Pulsar game, put them in the comments.
Elio, myself will ask those questions.
And if the question is probably one of the best ones for AJ,
we'll have AJ pick, then maybe you'll get something as well.
Vibes, go ahead, ask your question.
There's a few questions, really, if that's okay.
It's got nothing to do with the gaming element,
so it's more to do with the company.
Firstly, have you still got your ponytail?
My what? Say again.
Ponytail, because it looks like in one of the pictures
on your LinkedIn you've got a ponytail.
I know, that is Fernando, that's for sure.
I've never had a ponytail.
I don't know if it's the picture or not.
It looks like you've got a ponytail.
I'm looking at it.
I don't think...
I don't know.
So the question is, I've checked your LinkedIn
and I've also checked on Crunchbase.
Now, what's the name of the company?
Is it Pulsar Tech or is it Pulsar Games?
It's Pulsar Tech.
Apparently, in LinkedIn, there is a few Pulsar Techs around.
And the guys changed it for Pulsar Games
to be more recognizable with our symbol, I think.
I think that was the reason.
Okay, and is Pulsar Technologies or Pulsar Tech,
is the company based in Madrid or is it in Barcelona?
Because what I'm trying to do is in Dubai,
I'm struggling to find your company information.
Because what I was going to ask was,
in terms of funding,
let me see if I can even find a Pulsar.
Because I'm on Crunchbase at the moment
and I'm really struggling to find it.
I find three companies, but one's offering MPV and AR.
The other one is Basic Software,
which is based in China, which isn't you.
And then the other one is Madrid.
So that's what I'm struggling to find.
But in terms of funding,
that's the reason I was on Crunchbase.
What kind of funding have you received?
How good was your funding rounds?
Or is it literally bootstrap all the way?
And if so, how have you managed to financially last for two years?
So maybe one thing you can try,
because the name of the company we changed the company before
was 12 random words.
And then we changed it not long ago, but we changed it.
You see, it's based on Dubai.
I don't know why up here where you found it in Madrid.
That's not accurate.
Anyways, so jump into your question.
You can go to pulsargame.about.
I think the guys need to update the website in general.
But we did a small see-through.
For instance, in our cap table,
we have people like Colon in lab.
We have Firestorm Capital,
the different Blizzard and Avatar from an Avalapse.
The fans.
Aventurestow, Pangolin, Fief, and Bredertau,
which are the two guilds.
Avalanche, Taorion, actually Dexalot invested on us,
and Keychain Capital, which are the guys of banking, if you like.
So what basically we did was go Fernando and I
to the first avalanche summit in Barcelona with our backpack,
showing a demo around.
And so far, we raised almost 2.5 million.
We put also our bit of money into the company.
And we put Strapit in a very humble way.
Actually, the founders, we didn't earn any salary
for the first year and a half.
And we spent everything we had calling our friends
and having a very kind of intimate way of developing the game.
We put our souls.
If you think about it, what we have,
with all the infrastructure and all the technology we did
for two and something million, I think it's fantastic.
No, that's really cool.
And the second question is, in regards to the final case,
you got 2.5 million to make the game.
You've been bootstrapped pretty well.
I think you started in 2021, September, till now.
So that seems really solid up until now to launch.
So you seem like you're ready to launch.
Have you got a strategy after you've minted your collection?
Have you got a strategy to keep the momentum going post-mint
rather than premium?
So there is one lack of the project that I didn't talk about.
So the core loop, the dungeons, and then the events.
So we started with the events in 23.
And we saw crazy jumps in NFT sales,
people preparing for the event, whatever it was, pitch black.
And now we have main Armenian in user acquisition.
That was fantastic.
It's like the season pass.
So we have that tool to attract more and more people,
where we take some fans, or the part of it,
right now we are taxing 50% of the public lands
and we put it on the leaderboards.
So we are going to run all sorts of competition and rankings
that are going to be regular, at least one per month,
to attract the users.
And then there is one particular thing in the tokenomics
of Pulsar, where we are not going to sell more Genesis land,
which has a portion of the total supply
until we reach some limits, some milestones in our user base.
For instance, when we hit 50k, 100k players.
Up until 1 million, we are not going to put all the Pulsar
in circulation in one way or another.
That gives us a kind of nice balance between what the Pulsar
that is in the market, which depends on the miners,
ultimately putting that in circulation.
And being very strategic, not floating by ourselves,
the market at the beginning.
So it's engagement based.
It's going, unless we see demand,
we are not going to sell more land at all Pulsar.
So of course, there are going to be more modes, more competition.
We are going to PVP.
We are going to mobile.
We can talk until tomorrow, but these are highlights of general,
like the general highlights of how we are going to do it.
And my last question is,
how has the Avax family treated you in regards of onboarding you?
I think I got lucky.
I would not say that it was everything super easy,
but I think I got lucky that I linked quite well with the tech guys
and they were helping me out a lot.
We need to think also that Avalanche is quite, is new in a way.
And all the subnets even are new.
And all this projection and focus on gaming, it's also new.
So when a guy like me that don't know anybody in the web3 industry,
try to follow the typical strategies of web2 that you expect to have,
tech support, I don't know, an account manager or things like that.
People are understanding the needs of your technology.
They need it also to bootstrap.
So actually when we started trying the subnet, it was a very fresh product.
So it was not super easy.
And nowadays I'm sure they have plenty of people to care about in new commerce.
And also we need to take into consideration that they had the huge demand.
The last time that I was talking with Ed Chang,
he couldn't talk with all the projects to follow up every week.
It's very complicated.
AJ, so I just heard and I chimed into the question,
you brought an ecosystem into the...
And as soon as you said ecosystem,
my brain just populated a question for you.
Just to do curiosity, the Pulsar ecosystem, what is it?
What are the NFTs that you're going to be using for it?
Is there a Pulsar token?
And what does your collection look like in regards to the art?
So a Pulsar is our first project.
Actually we are going to follow the same principle as King.
We are going to do the first game that we love
and probably we are going to operate it for more than 10 years,
what I'm used to, which is Pulsar the game.
But we are also Pulsar the chain, right?
That at the end of the subnet is an L1.
And what we are planning to do is just you take the infrastructure,
you take the technology and tools and you rescue the game
to amplify your audience.
So all of that is going to work with the Pulsar token.
It's not yet in the market.
We are going to do around the Bitcoin halving,
the public round with our partners, TokenSoft and Nava Lounge.
And what was the last thing that you told me?
Have you got any sneak peeks or something in irrelevance
to the art of the NFT itself?
That's stuff that typically, you know, in the arts and culture type of...
You want me to leak content, right?
I didn't say it indirectly, you know what I mean?
But you said it and I know everybody here else wants it.
Yeah, so, okay, two hints here.
One is that for the people that love robots and so on,
is in one of our trailers,
you are going to be able to customize your NFTs in different ways.
That is going to be along the road when we are going to develop
what we call builders, you know, the builders layer of the game.
And then we have...
I don't know, this question is tricky.
You know something, I don't know, someone told you.
But anyways, so...
I don't know anything.
I'm just curious into what, you know,
the art is going to have to look like
because of the fact that myself being a collector and a gamer,
you know, you typically resonate with something you really like.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, there is a project that we stopped,
a layer of Pulsar that was all that has to do with the profile pictures
and the human parts.
Because in Pulsar, it's to resume this a lot.
In Pulsar, there are some factions
that is very similar to what can transmit to you or hammer.
But we have different factions that are more, how to say,
more ghosts in the shell, like full robots that appear human,
robots that not appear totally human.
Then we have some kind of pre...
We have some illustration already, but we never publish it.
Regarding alien, different alien races.
And everything is a kind of...
with a gothic touch, cyberpancish...
I don't know, it's very weird, you know?
I love it, but we need to develop it much more.
Because to jump from an RTS unit,
there's something that you can personalize or drive into the game
that has, as you were saying,
all of this environment should, in my opinion, when we launch that,
we should have a full story, episode of the story.
We should have tons of illustration to cover the environment as well.
Not only the profile pictures or these collectives.
Nice. And how does...
Because you guys, I think, just for the audience,
you guys have a token on testnet, is that correct?
And I think what I would like to see, how does that tie into the game?
I know there is a minor event being out there.
I'm not 100% sure if it was running right now or it's coming up really soon.
But how does that all tie back into the token to a certain degree?
So you guys have Bulsar, you can play it.
It's an RTS or strategy game thing.
Starcraft, it might be mixed with Command and Conquer to a certain degree.
Not graphic-wise, but I think I tried it yesterday night.
It was really good. I recommend everyone to try it.
You can try it on PC or Mac right now.
I use it on Mac because I'm paranoid
and I don't want to use it on my Windows computer
for things emerging which were played to earn.
But essentially, the installer didn't work and you get trained.
So I'm always very, very careful.
So question goes back.
So you guys have Bulsar, which is testnet right now,
and how does that tie in with...
Is there any play to airdrop kind of mechanisms right now
and stuff that the Digians would get excited about?
Yeah, so the Digians should know a couple of things.
First, it's free to play.
If you're a free pack of NFTs, ask for a referral code.
You're going to get more powerful NFT extra.
We are running now minor mania with public land.
We have 15 million Pulsar that everybody can mine right now.
Actually, minor mania is still more than almost two weeks
to finish minor mania, one week and a half,
where the Pulsar extraction is multiplied by five.
So if someone was...
Bulsar is not going to be dropped.
It's our gas token.
We care about it and we are one token economy.
So we care about it a lot.
However, to bootstrap the liquidity, the community,
and at the same time be doing changes in our infrastructure
and our game testing and having fun is the time to join.
Because in Q2, we are going to do the jump
and I don't want anybody of your audience
not getting Pulsar.
It's very simple.
Install the game, PC or Mac.
You don't need to link your wallet just to let you know.
First install it.
I think Elio, your comment was nice.
Mac is safe.
So if you want...
It's safe to play.
Yeah, it's not a drainer or whatever.
It remains.
I don't know.
Maybe you have...
So you guys have the minor mania.
There's 15 million Pulsar to be mined to gaming.
And how much is currently mined approximately?
The last time I checked, we were around 200K only.
Because we started with this program not so long ago.
So just the intent of how fast we can spread the word.
Maybe we don't need to mine all of the 15 million
before they launch in Q2,
maybe we can run after those with that budget
which is 1.5% of the total supply.
We can run events.
So you have minor mania.
You have the competition in the leaderboards
that we are going to introduce leaks.
So just install the game, jump in.
That's nice.
Yeah, that's nice.
Hint, you're saying the word launch.
What does that mean?
Is there like a TGE coming up?
So we are running now our private round.
Yeah, actually we started this exact week
with a private round meeting with investor and doing the pitch.
In Q2, so there are two things, right?
We have the game launch and the token launch.
For the people that are thinking TGE is going to happen in Q2.
So before that, we are going to do a lounge token soft.
Then it's going to be available in Dexalot, Trader Joe, Pangolin, and so on.
Then the game itself, when we talk about pass the game to main
because we have two things, right?
The token is going to be probably easier
and it's going to be out for trading.
While when we do the transition of the game,
we are going to publish it in the Epic Game Store
and all the Web3 launchers that we have almost ready.
But the big deal at the end is a big game store.
We are going to try that that happens
at most likely the same time of the token.
It has a complexity that when we are going to bootstrap
the liquidity of our mainnet,
we need to kind of stop the game, do a snapshot
and copy to everybody's wallet for their mainnet in testnet.
Nice, nice.
So essentially, I know you guys cannot say entire value to the token,
but essentially, I think Heroes of Mafia launched last night
doing really good numbers on mobile.
They have a similar system there where if you install,
like let's say the public launch from the phone,
you get a percentage cut of the token, which will come later.
I think Emark is an avid Heroes of Mafia player.
But I think that's really good.
Yeah, that's why you're not saying anything nice.
No, I'm just kidding.
I get it. So for the audience, what you guys have to understand,
so there is a token right now, it's on testnet.
If you play, you basically get the emission.
Will the emission be 1-1 with the public launch to mainnet as well, AJ?
The emission of Pulsar in the game, you mean?
Yeah, because right now they can mine this through the event, right?
By playing, essentially.
Right now it's boosted.
And the guy has tons of help leveling up NFTs.
So he's going to be more tough in mainnet
because we need to balance the issuance of token with the demand.
So if you want to have fun and have tons of tokens,
I encourage you to play from time to time in the testnet.
Yeah, but will there be 1-1 like snapshot towards the mainnet launch?
Yeah, okay, check.
I see, Ash, you have your hand up. Do you have a question for us?
Mr. Ash Robin.
If not, I will continue.
I'm not hearing Ash.
There you go.
Yeah, I was quick. I was very quick.
Yeah, no, I didn't know you were passing it to me.
Yeah, I did have a question.
So I know that throughout this conversation that we've gone over
like the launch and what the NFTs would be used for and such.
And I was just curious if there was any plans for content that you had in mind
just because I know that there's different ways that obviously
like games can be marketed and such.
And so I was just curious if you had plans for content,
what that would look like.
And then I guess just like on another level as well,
like what your thought is around like community building
and like how you plan to build that up.
So we can link actually both.
We have plans to release our map builder to the community.
At the end, what we want to do is something like Neverwinter Nights.
I don't know if you played or you have a simplified tool,
where you can use the same tool as the developers, but simplified.
Of course, we use Unreal Engine 5.
We need to do like a kind of simplified UI for that.
But you are going to be able to craft your own little stories
and mission and so on, pack it into our NFT and sell it to everybody.
That is in terms of content, community-driven content,
that at the end is what every big company wants to promote.
It's kind of nice that the game feels more vivid with the community.
For the content that we are going to do a lot,
we still need to add more units.
We still need to do five tiers.
We have illustrations about that.
And we are going to do a story mode.
The story mode, it's going to drive tons of attention.
And from time to time, we are going to be releasing more missions
and make the game more complete, right?
The second part of your question, please.
I forgot.
What's the community?
Craft in the community.
Ah, there is one thing that...
So, we have, of course, on the table, we are going to use it.
How we are going to do the user acquisition with the traditional channels.
However, what we have now in the table is to craft an affiliate program
where we are going to share the benefits that your referees are going to buy.
So, I think that is going to be the most powerful driver in the future
in user acquisition for the community.
A part of, of course, when we are going to do leagues and guilds
and things for the intra-game, let's say.
But at the end, we have this dream, like if someone plays Pulsar actively enough,
it's going to pay the bills.
And if you have a large community, one way to profit from what you bring to the community
is share the cat that we get.
So, the prices are the same for the public.
With the affiliate program, everybody that is your referee is going to drive you benefits.
We hope that with those two things, story, the future tools,
and all the campaigns and so on, we are going to be building the community step by step.
Of course, in West Bay, it's very powerful.
That's a good way to do a building community within certain factions or guilds
and getting everybody kind of to drive each other within the game
to benefit each other as well, right?
Now, I just have a question because we do have another gamer that's actually here within this space.
Scotty, have you got any questions in the actual gaming ethics towards the Pulsar?
Have you tried it yet?
I haven't tried it yet.
I did have a question earlier, but Elio asked it about it being free to play
and sort of, you know, creating that top of funnel so you can attract more players.
But I did have a question actually regarding the endgame of Pulsar.
So I saw that you have the different tiers.
So, you know, you go into these dungeons.
Will the endgame be sort of, will it be PvE based or PvP based,
where you like have raid bosses or things like that?
What's the sort of like capstone?
Yeah, so we are PvE right now.
You can do, actually, we deactivated the PvP in the lands
because it was a mess.
The people were bothering each other to mine all the Pulsar.
However, a part of the PvE, the dungeons and the bosses that are inside,
of course, we are going to create more bosses, more different strategies and rarities for the dungeons.
One day, which is in maintenance, one day, we need to activate the switch to activate the PvP,
which ultimately will mean that people from other lands are going to attack your land.
And that is when the game is going to be less about mining and more about competition.
For the people at the start, of course, you can add them like a shield that is very typical in Forex.
So they have a nice initial right.
But the ultimate goal is going to be all the time killing each other's guilds,
having problems with each other and making it fun and competitive.
Wait, so I mean, if I understand this correctly, so the surface level is going to be sort of like,
I mean, that's the MMO aspect where you have everybody sort of on the safe lands.
So I'll be having to defend my base like it's rust, like people are going to take my base and take my team.
Yeah, they are never going to take your Pulsar.
That's something we decided early on.
If you mine the Pulsar and you refine it, it's yours.
However, the resources, if someone attacks you, he's going to take a bit of your resources like a spoil of wars.
But it's going to happen.
Land versus land, guild versus guild, and people kill each other if you want a part of the aliens.
So that is the end goal here.
If someone wants to be in calm, they will have activities for that.
But if someone wants a bit of faction, they should have it at the end.
It's an MMO, right?
Yeah, that sounds super crazy.
So then will there be seasons to sort of reset it?
Like if some guild or faction has control over a large portion of the map,
and someone just starting out is constantly getting grief.
I think seasons might help.
Yeah, exactly.
That's the perfect thing because you cannot create a perfect system, right?
A super balanced system.
So it's better to create some mechanics, create a system, and let the people try it out, compete.
But at one point, of course, you need to offer the chance of not only the OGs,
the new people that are playing since, I don't know, imagine three months,
to A, we are going to have the chance that it's going to be a reset and we can play those things.
So there are going to be different layers of participation in the game.
All right, I apologize again because I feel as if Mark is probably going to try to reach through the screen
and beat the whiskey out of me since I kind of overlapped him.
And Mark, I see you have your hands up.
Do you got a question, my young man?
Yeah, I mean, to be honest, at some point, I thought you weren't going to call on me.
So I already kind of, you know, the typical whiskey thing to do.
But I do have a question.
So I think you said you raised $2 million.
I don't know how much of that you already bond through to build the game.
So my question is, what is your projected profit calculation for the next year for the project to keep it running?
Oh, wow. So we have multiple projections.
And actually, I think the bear case was around after all the payments and so on and so forth.
How much was it?
$40 million per year or something like that.
But it was a very bear case.
And we actually crashed it with the latest user acquisition with it.
We need to revisit that.
What I can tell you is that we are not king, but there we were moving $6 billion.
So we know the potential to do the right thing.
Another mobile games and other companies that I was being that what I told you for 24 is what they do every month.
This is going to be progressively moving up and up.
Nice. Does it answer your question?
There's more as his hand up for some time as well.
So just wondering, I mean, I'm not counting the token price and all of those things.
Is the projection the bear case for 24 this year for the company?
Yeah, of course.
So, Mark, I'm taking that answered because we have to move to the other question.
Yeah, I mean, it's just not the latest question.
Awesome. Awesome.
Omar, what's your question?
Hey, thanks for having me up.
Just a quick two questions.
First, I just want to say that the game looks incredible.
I stopped playing games years ago.
After completing StarCraft II in Civilizations 5, it was the proverbial greyhound catching the rabbit.
I just had zero interest in anything else.
So to see this has sparked my curiosity in a great deal.
My question is, and a few other questions I had were already answered.
I was up here long enough to actually have those questions asked by other folks.
But my question is, how many races are there?
And also, I think you had kind of spoken to it when someone had asked about content.
Is there a lore for the game?
Because I'm really curious about that.
It is. It is a lore.
In terms of races, now we have two.
But actually, what you are playing right now are drones.
So, super fast.
I would try to simplify before Elio kills me.
So, beacon zero is like, I don't know if you know the sound of a pulsar.
That should be irregular.
But in this case, it was detected an irregular, which holds a message, like, zero sound one.
So, the race of the human with a destroyed planet was jumping between solar system and planets,
stealing everything, getting all the resources to go to that beacon zero.
Before the latest jump, they stopped in what is called like the pulsar planet.
Because the resources of pulsar, which is in form of a mineral, but is the highest density energy in the universe,
they drop technology to control the planet.
And they left because it was the last jump to go to beacon zero and know if there is an advanced entity there.
So, what you are managing right now is the bots, the droids that they left with singular AI.
So, you control one of those with a mothership.
Then you have the aliens.
I will not tell you what those aliens, I don't want to spoil.
Anyway, right now it's alien versus those robots.
The human race needs to come back.
And other folks are going also to get interested in the pulsar planet.
That answers my question.
Thank you for having me up.
I just wanted to say, and I'm going to front run risk here.
Dude, you have a beautiful voice.
Have you ever considered doing something like spaces?
Because your voice is so good.
That's true.
This guy, I was going to ask that question.
I was literally going to say that because of the fact.
Maybe I will replace whiskey.
Omari, you can replace me any day, man.
All I got to say is that voice is sacked.
You're lucky there's only men in here, man.
But, yeah.
I appreciate it.
I'll take that as a minute.
I'll hold you all to that.
All I heard, as soon as you came on that mic, man,
all I could think about and came into my head was,
let's get it on.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, it's a good voice, man.
I love it.
We'd love to have you on more, man.
I think it brings good energy.
There was...
I'll definitely stop by.
I'll definitely.
I'll follow either of them right now.
There we go.
I got to notice we got more people on the space
when Omari was speaking and we lost them all
when whiskey was speaking.
So you can maybe change that.
I think that might be you, Mark.
I apologize, bro.
All right.
One more question.
So there was a question in the comments from AJ
and he asked...
It's a very long one, though,
so I'm going to try to keep it very compact.
The Pulsar team has previously teased up to 16 people
playing together.
AJ, could you elaborate on possible game modes
in the future and also how might the game Pulsar
be integrated or do campaigns with Web3 esports communities?
So essentially esports, if there is anything like that.
So that esports, maybe when we finish with the PvP, right?
So you need to think about that in terms of AAA,
we just started.
We have a long way to go even though the looks of the game
looks very professional and feels fantastic already.
So give us time.
Give us time for that.
And for the other question that I just forgot
because I'm completely tired.
The game modes.
No, but you asked something specifically about the game modes.
Yeah, so the guy mentioned that the 16 players
and that's kind of like PvP, I guess.
So one day we activated 16 players in a dungeon
and it was a mess with many units in the screen.
We beat the hell out of the boss super fast.
So lands in our plans are that lands in the future
are going to hold 64 players.
But for that, we need to do some technical activities before.
The biggest land that you can buy right now is 16 by 16,
which are those 16 players.
And now we are planning it.
We still need to test the lands for four people.
Right now, one thing we are learning
with the eight players in each land is that it feels a bit empty.
So we need to figure it out how to modify our algorithm
of creating the land that make it feel more vivid
and the player more close to each other.
So more game modes are going to come.
Our final goal is 10K units in every land at 60 FPS, 64 players,
and dungeons and game mode will see as much as possible.
It is more fun.
But you need to take into consideration that an MMO
like World of Warcraft, you are one character in the screen, right?
When you play Pulsar, you have potentially hundreds of units per player.
Yeah, that's very good.
Scotty, you got a question.
We will be rounding it up in around five to ten minutes.
But shoot your questions, Scotty.
Yeah, real quick.
With any PVP game, competitive integrity is super important.
Will there be any anti-cheat tools or anything like that
that you guys will be building for the game?
So Andrea has in place a few of them already
that they are actually improving in Unreal Engine 5.
We need to have them at the end,
or base everything even more heavily on the server side
for that type of competition.
The time will tell, but before it's a valid concern
before we move to that competitive mode.
We need to craft first how it's going to be with the blockchain
because we have a similar kind of system like the poker design
where you fight with me, we put 10 Pulsar on the table,
whoever wins, take it all.
And no joke with the competition.
They didn't need to be very polished
and anti-chits and all of these stuff need to be well-crafted.
We'll see, we'll see.
Still a long time for that.
I think that answers your question.
Is there any final alpha you could leak?
Because we do need to have a scoop,
so we heard there's probably going to be a TGE.
Right now, I think the most notable,
if we look at metrics for the Deagents only,
there's 15 mil Pulsar to be mined,
there's only around 100-200k extracted so far,
so there's still significant sum you can get.
How long is the miner mania still running for?
I think that's a good one to know as well.
For almost two weeks.
Okay, so you still have two weeks to front run,
as anyone can hear.
And is there anything else which you want to give the audience now?
Is it possible to get maybe a private code
for the guys in the Telegram group?
Because they do want to try out the game.
They were also very, I don't want to say reluctant,
but they were street smart about installing something on a computer
where they're potentially holding money.
Is there any way we can get maybe a special code
or is there any way we can bump those numbers for you guys as well?
Sure, definitely.
We are going to take care about that later.
And then the final, is there anything else you want to leak here?
So leaks, what we can leak?
Well, I think I already leak not all the pitch deck
of the private investors, but almost everything is on the table.
We actually announced here that we are going out in Q2,
officially.
We are going with tokensoft.
Now we are raising $12 million in the private round
that is going to give us a breather for the upcoming years, guys.
So that's everything.
Leaks in the game, if you want to know more.
All the Digi in details, please join our Discord
and see you in the next one, guys.
Really appreciate the time here.
Yeah, nice.
I would recommend everyone to try and download the game.
Try it out, have some fun in the weekend
or maybe later tonight, today.
And there is a few disclaimers here.
So we still have a wireless giveaway going on for 30 friends,
which is I think running off in I would say 24 hours from now, roughly,
give and take.
So if you head over to the pinned tweets up,
which is discord.gg slash Avax,
there is still a quest which you can do.
Also, I highly recommend to keep an eye on the questing
we have on the official Avax Discord
because there are some cool things coming out
in the next few days slash week.
And by that, I want to thank everyone on the panel,
recommend everyone to follow each other.
Definitely follow him up more
because I want to get him up with his sexy voice
a little bit more than usual.
Yeah, I want to thank everyone.
I'm going to raffle the Wolfies in, let's say,
roughly 45 minutes from now.
And then I want to thank AJ and everyone from the panel for being here.
And I'm going to wish you all a good night.
Have a good night. Thank you.
See why I took it. They asking me who would've thought.
I keep it in humble in person like, oh my God, I can't believe it.
Okay, I'm lying straight to the back when it be here and right.
I just say how I'm feeling. No, I can't hide it.
Feel like I'll take on a giant Goliath.
I'm slinging a shot to the island.
I ain't ever missing. I put in a word.
Every verse gets written.
I ain't no menace, but they heard my penance.
Every word like a purpose is served as sentence.
Every time I hit a beat, I got like infinite flows.
Different approach flow fast.
Yeah, I'm ribbing and bulking for the gap.
Go back now. I'm picking a blow, giving a gift.
When I rap like a ribbon and bow and I'm tying up these loose ends.
I want to know where the roof ends.
If sky's the limit, what's true then?
Why doesn't moon have supremes? Switch to the beat.
I don't know what my style is.
They wanted something that sounded like violet.
I said, okay, then go listen to violet.
Crying about it, then cue into violence.
Shout out to bands. We kept it spinning.
They feeling dizzy. I keep on winning.
Feel like I'm drizzy. Shout out to Toronto.
That's word to the city. I've been switching lanes like I'm Tory.
They know that I'm pity. I say that I'm sorry, but no, I don't pity.
The lanes are my story. That's going against me.
I'll pave a new way. If I wanted, I get it. I'm titty.
Whoa. Yeah. Back to back flows. Back to back hits.
Had some bad friends. Had to ask those.
I don't make friends. I just meet and stack the cash.
So I caked in. Now my tax guy wants a meeting.
Had to show me what I owe.
