I just opened the room so
Welcome everyone. Hi, I'm just waiting for a few folks to trickle in here since we just opened the room.
I should be really playing some hold music or something. Well, we wait.
Hello, hello, hello, Mark. Hey, how's it going? Everything's great.

Accomplished digital artist and working on this really cool NFT game called exotopia. We'll be getting all into that in a minute here once we get them in the room and Susan my audio sounds okay, right?
One moment on boarding scott.
Fabulous. I hope everyone's had a good post-merge couple of days. Relaxed experience with the future of blockchain.
Any Santana dot mark? Yeah, I mean I love it to me
There's been a very false equivalence between things like proof of work, blockchains, and oil and gas in terms of environmental impact. And the great thing about softwares, you can upgrade it. And Ethereum just proved that, rolling out a new
system software for their blockchain that uses 99.95% less electricity, less power. So it's just fabulous to see that things like blockchain technology can continue to get better year after year after year and can fix problems when they arise. We're not stuck.
in the past, like some industries. Obviously it's easy for me to say, it's a lot easier to upgrade a blockchain than it is to roll out 100 million electric cars, but it's awesome to see that kind of work going on all the time around the world.
Yeah, totally great with that.
Yeah, and I guess we'll see what Bitcoin does next. Obviously, there's a much bigger coordination problem with the Bitcoin miners. There's a theorem's a little more organized. So I don't know how long it'll take them to get around to doing something similar.
Yeah, yeah, for those who don't know this is Mark D'Linder. I'm CEO of Icon. I know I'm on the OR network Twitter account.
right now to host the room but you can see me @mblindor on Twitter if you want to see my face. Oh yeah I realized you changed your profile picture
last week, right? Yeah, I was I still had a mask on which I thought at this point was getting a little ridiculous for Twitter. Now I've got Homer Simpson.
It's weird I cannot see Scott here. I don't see him either.
And I saw him tweeting about it today. So he's obviously around tweeting the link to this. Exactly.
Yeah, I think I'm asking him to request a speak. Oh, great.
Yeah, I guess while we, while Susan works this out, just to introduce what we do at Icon, you know, we build products on top of the or network. I hope there's a lot of our community in the audience today.
Or is designed to be the truly self-sovereign cross-chain identity and kind of cross-chain wallet for the mass market. So our most famous product is ORID, which basically allows a user to log into a blockchain application.
