Okay, hi there folks, can you hear me?
You can hear me fantastic. That's the first problem that you get when on these spaces. So I think we'll just wait a little bit longer and have some more footage. We just opened up the space.
Just a quick introduction. My name is John. I work on the Clipto.com Capiturty where I'm a partner. I'll be your host today. We're going to be talking about all things Kronos with Alan Can that we'll get there in a second.
Let's start with some basic questions, Shoe. Ella and Ken, whereabouts are you in the world at the moment?
I'm Carly Singapore. Hey, I'm Paris France. Very nice. So we are international in very much in every sense of the word. Exactly. Cool.
Okay, well I'll start slowly, I'm sure people are going to keep joining so we'll get to it. But this is the first time a series of Twitter spaces that we're going to be hosting with L1 companies. So we'll be interviewing a whole host of L1 blockchain companies.
And this is really around this stems from the fact that Quizz.com we recently introduced a research paper looking in a lot of depth on layer ones and out. They're obviously a very essential part of the blockchain ecosystem. The sort of main road that every transaction travels through.
Now a few years ago there were a few layer ones and a few and these days there's a whole bunch and there's new ones starting seemingly every week. So the team at putt.com on the research side have put together this very interesting and very deep dive on
on, layer one and layer two tech. So go to quick.com/research to find that paper and all the others that are being released every week. And I'm sure you'll learn plenty and have plenty of questions to ask to. So as I say, this is the first that AMA that we're doing.
But we plan to do I think five or six going forward on a weekly basis. So again, make sure that you're following the principal comment count and you'll be kept up to date with who we've got on and when we've got them coming. Okay, so let's start. So we're starting off with with
us. They say the two speakers that we've got here, Elevand and Ken are very much critical to what's being built here. So I'll let them introduce themselves and explain how they came to be at the Cronus team and also what they do here. So Elevand and Ken, take it away please.
Yep, sure. So my name is Ken Timzit and I'm the head of Chronos chain and most specifically the head of the entity called Chronos Labs, which is the team in charge of coordinating the technical
And also the team in charge of promoting its adoption by users and developers. Yeah. Yeah, everyone. It's a pleasure to be here. My name is Al.
I lead ecosystem partnerships at Cronos Labs. So our team is responsible for getting developers and projects to onboard to Cronos and provide all the different supports and resources that I will talk about later.
Awesome, thanks so much guys, great to get your intras again, just recap anyone who just joins. My name is John and I am a partner with the Cups.com Capital team. I'll be your host today. We're going to go in depth on
Okay, so let's start from the top. So just curious guys, can you and can this is probably a good question for you? Can you explain the origin story of Kronos? How did Kronos come to be and what's the mission that Kronos has?
