Yo, yo, yo. How's it going, Nara? How you doing today?
Yo, yo, yo. What's good? What's good? Appreciation Station.
Episode 46. Let's go, Danny boy. How you doing?
Nara's fucked out. Let's go.
Yo, I'm just mad that no one can hear my song when I start the space.
It really saddens me. It's like, yo, I just sit in silence and I'm here jamming to this class and bullshit, but it's high.
At least I get to hear it. It calms me down and shit before the space.
What's good, yo? How's everybody doing?
Pretty well. I need to top up all my coffee.
Oh, is that coffee something we're going to be talking about today or is that just normal coffee?
Yeah, that's one of the things we're going to be talking about today. Yeah.
Awesome. Awesome. Well, while we get people in here, just go ahead and like the retweet space, get settled in, and we'll get it started.
What's up, Crooksy? How you doing? I hate your PFP.
I love your PFP, Crooksy. What's going on, man?
Just like in between the room, Crooksy, Nardau.
Oh, man. Thanks for coming in today. We appreciate you so much. I'm out and about. I'm mobile. I'm on the road today, but I'm here and happy to chop it up, man, and learn about what's going on with you guys and get that alpha out of you guys.
So, who do we got behind the account? Is that Nardau behind the Nardau?
Right on, Nardau. Thanks for coming in.
Right on, man. I appreciate you. My name is Joe. Joey. I don't know if you got a name or just Nardau is what you want to go by, but nice to meet you, man.
How you doing today? And we'll get right into it. We'll touch base with our host here, Danny.
But, yeah, I'm Joe. That's Danny behind the Appreciators account or the Station account. You want to just go by Nardau or what's up, bro?
Yeah, you can call me Caleb or Nardau. I mean, my main account is at Caleb Tykes. It's me. I've always been me.
So, Nardau has been my sort of persona, but it really is just an embodiment of me and me being silly and me being a kid and having fun and bringing back the feeling and the vibe of the 90s.
That's – I was born in the 80s, but I grew up in the 90s, so I have a lot of just great memories.
Just it's – yeah, it feels –
Yeah, man, for sure. And you know what? Like, it's kind of cool because it seems like, you know, as the days go on and we revert back to old fashions and old fads,
you know, these days things from our generation are popping back up and they're – you know, they're – things are getting exciting.
But we're happy to have you here today, man, and we're happy to, you know, learn about what's going on with the Nardau and the NRAF-Dau.
But we'll shoot it back to the host and while things are rolling.
Danny boy, how you doing?
I actually – before we go back to the host, just want to give a quick shout-out.
I'm terrible for these things, but there's very few in the room right now.
So, Respecter, thanks for coming in.
And, of course, Crooksy, thank you so much for coming, you guys.
Respecter, man, you're, like, here right on time, bro.
I fucking appreciate you.
Yeah, he's just doing it on purpose.
He's trying to show off his PFP when he knows that I'm the original Joker.
I don't know why he's trying to pull.
He's coming up here, too.
So, let's see if he's got anything to say on his defense.
Dude, my mic cut out for a sec.
I think when I was coming out, what do I got to defend against?
Were you guys attacking me or where are we at?
Yeah, I was just saying you're trying to show off your Joker PFP when you know I'm the original Joker.
So, you showing up in here almost as a disrespecter, but I don't want to bring him in.
So, we'll keep you as a respecter.
But, yeah, man, just busting your chops, basically.
Yeah, but also, I just want to comment.
Like, did you just pick that up?
You know, I went and I snooped the last time when you were, you know, bragging about picking up that family one-on-one.
But, you know, I saw that fangang and, man, you picked up a one-on-one again.
Hey, let's fucking go, brother.
So, yeah, man, I appreciate it.
You know, it's kind of funny because I've been a member of the fangang for quite a while now, probably closer to two years.
And, you know, I usually don't – I'm usually not able to pick up my favorite one-on-one from a collection.
But I've actually had this thing in my favorites tab for literally the last two years, man.
Like, I saw it – or I never saw it listed.
Or maybe I saw it listed once and it was, like, listed for five ETH or something crazy, like, over a year ago.
Like, something that's not obtainable.
So, yeah, dude, I saw it was the only one listed and it was my favorite one listed.
I made an offer and my offer was ignored for a couple days and I started getting anxious.
So, I was like, all right, I'm just going to pay full price.
And, yeah, I had to rock it for a little while, but I feel like I got a steal on it.
So, you know, I'm pretty –
That's fucking sick, man.
I've definitely gone and looked at the collection more than once.
You know, I've been in their Discord for, I bet you, over a year or two.
But I never did bite the bullet.
I know that they were way up there in cost.
I never thought I would see it.
I saw them way down at, like, 0.02 and sub 0.02 and I don't know what it was.
I just – you know, obviously, I should know better than to think that anything goes to zero
because you never know, man.
Things that have, you know, gone way under, you know, a long time ago somehow, you know,
can be revived and revamped.
And it's happened and it will happen again.
So, you know, I feel like Fangang, I've always had my eye on them.
And I might have to, you know, follow suit, go pick up something.
Not a one-on-one, though.
But let's not get too far off track.
No, all I was going to say is, I mean, to be fair, I know, obviously, like, all floor prices are down.
But I'm pretty sure Fangang never, like, went anywhere.
Like, they've always – to my knowledge, maybe they took, like, a month or two off at some point.
But I feel like they've been pretty consistently, like, putting out some sort of content, like, engaging with the community.
At least I'm pretty sure Pacca has.
Pacca, Pacca, I don't know how to pronounce his name, but one of the founders.
I know a lot of brands are kind of like, you know, they take time off.
But I'm pretty sure they've been here the whole time, just in their defense.
But, yeah, man, very, very happy about it.
But, look, this is not the Fangang space.
This is the NAR AF DAO space, which I'm also a holder.
So, yeah, man, happy to be here and, you know, hear a little bit more about what they're building today.
So, appreciate you for coming in, Respecter.
Coming up, DVA, Patrick, Phil, thanks for coming in, you guys.
So, Danny boy, I guess let's fire it up.
And I'll let you take away here with the first question for Mr. Caleb.
So, Caleb, let's get into NAR.
What, first and foremost, what is the NAR AF DAO?
How, you know, how can we learn more about it?
So, the NAR AF DAO was an idea that I hit upon in February of 2022 following my third or fourth rug on Sawana.
I am a little over two years in NFTs.
I have just seen a lot of things happen, seen really resonating with art, resonating with either the energy or the community or the things relating to it.
And then it all went away.
And then now I have this piece of art that I enjoy.
But there's no community.
There's no project anymore.
So, almost every single project was giving its members IP rights and allowing them full commercial rights to do what they wanted to do with it.
So, the problem is most people don't even know the first thing of what to do with IP.
You're like, okay, yeah, go exercise IP.
All right, how do I do that?
What are the things I need to do to protect myself?
How do I develop a brand?
These are all things that I learned from my background in legal cannabis.
I've been in the medical marijuana, medical cannabis.
The word is still in my mind.
The U.S. is the only place where that word is really used anymore besides Mexico.
That's where it comes from.
I was in medical cannabis in Arizona 13 years ago.
Been in the game for longer.
And you all know what I mean about that.
So, I've always been a huge proponent of personal choice.
I don't need the government to tell me what is okay and what is not okay.
I can make my decisions and evaluate it.
And so, that's really what drew me to cannabis.
And then, ultimately, what drew me to crypto.
And when I started looking at NFTs and seeing what they were, I saw that it was metadata and it was images.
But the power of the blockchain, the immutability, the public nature of it.
And I think it was probably one of Zach ZBT's just crazy deep dives of showing, like, this is the future.
This is how, like, all of our systems, all of those are things that are built and that companies have had to personally invest tens of millions of dollars and continue to maintain.
It's now being spread out.
And the costs are being spread out.
Miners are being paid through mining.
And the system itself is set up to where anybody can come in and use the blockchain.
Like, you don't have to get a password or have developed some aspect of it.
Like, you can go get a wallet and you can go on the blockchain.
And it is now super easy for anyone to go and mint anything.
NoCodeTools didn't exist in 2021.
I would have saved a lot of money on the first collection.
Because I came into the space, I was very, very excited.
I hit upon the idea of the Narnar Walls.
And the entire story and background and all of it, it just all started flowing.
I kind of tapped on something that I hadn't really exercised in a while, which was my sort of creative side.
And I had done my creative side through, like, my custom Excel reports because I did a lot of accounting and other aspects of selling licenses.
And you're doing due diligence and wanting to make sure the inventory tie-outs or doing that stuff when it doesn't close.
And you're doing it four days in a row at midnight of trying to say, here's the ending balance.
And then it doesn't actually happen, so then you have to do the whole thing the next night.
It's a lot of – I learned so much in that world of this is how business works.
This is how it operates at that level.
I mean, these are multimillion-dollar deals that I was working on and supporting through.
So it really opened my eyes to how the world works, that luck plays such a huge part, but luck is having the preparation and being in the right spot and choosing to act.
So there's those three pieces that, yes, it is luck to be in a certain – some things are lucky, but you've done the preparation to be able to execute on that opportunity.
Because we all have opportunities to show up, and it's whether or not you have the skill set to do something about it.
So along those lines, I hit upon the idea for NAR-AFDAO and 95%.
95% of all of the operating profits are structured to stay within the DAO with its members or treasury or to the founders.
I came up with the idea, and I purposefully got other founders because having gone through my experiences in cannabis and being by myself
and not necessarily having somebody to bounce ideas off of and knowing that I had that support, it's pretty lonely when you're the only CEO
and you just – you really – you can't talk to anybody about what's going on because nobody can really relate outside of the business,
and you don't want to talk to your subordinates because that's just – you don't.
It's just part of leadership.
It's things that I learned as well in my rapid advance.
So I went and reached out to my buddy, Big Bear, who has always had my back throughout my entire time here.
He's always looking out for me.
He can be a bit gruff, and I love him.
He's just as looked out for me, and he's always just been amazing.
He introduced me to Cups, who is our IT, our residence as far as, like, Web 2 side and having that part covered.
And I had already met Nightman, Valerie, now, through Stuffy Bunny and I think through a couple of others.
So I talked about my idea of here's what I want to do.
I want to create a DAO that pools all of the members' NFTs with IP in order to do print-on-demand merchandise
because I saw that as one of the biggest bridges.
I mean, everyone's talking about bridges and how to bring more people over,
and it's not about bringing them over.
It's about creating value that is going to draw them or creating something that allows them to experience a piece of it
without necessarily being in it.
I'm very, very excited about the account abstraction stuff, and I'm going to be excited.
There's a lot of stuff in 2024 that we're going to be doing.
But I was looking at, like, okay, I have all of these NFTs, and how do I share them?
And that's going to be through exercising the IP first and foremost on merchandise.
So that is when I was developing the brand and just taking the time of what do I want this company to be?
That was one thing that a lot of things and just that the terms and words matter.
We are an NFT quote-unquote project, but we are a fully licensed DAO in Wyoming,
as well as our LLC for our operating company is in Delaware.
So I ensured that we had that portion set up, structured, our governance,
how do we do on just basically the process of how things are going to function at the DAO.
But not only that, what do we stand for?
What's our reason for being?
And you've heard me here talking about it is the power of the blockchain gives equality,
and equality for me is equal opportunity.
Everyone has the opportunity to either succeed or not on their own merits.
I am here to support anyone, everyone who is choosing themselves and is willing to put in the work,
and let's do it because that's one thing that has been really important to me is making sure that with my partners and members
and the people that I'm meeting and connecting with, that they align with my values, that they align with the vision,
and I know that they're going to put in the work because it takes work.
Anything that is worthwhile takes time to build, to grow, to be, if it's anything beyond height,
like things with substance that have value.
So our value system, an RAF.
So a lot of those are pretty straightforward.
Like, I've been very blessed, and I have a skill set, and I'm in a position to help other people,
so I'm going to do it because I want to.
So nimble is that we are able to pivot.
We have our roots on Solana.
Our first 333 tokens are on Solana.
We are a multi-chain, also on Polygon, and we launched a diamond on Polygon.
If you're not familiar with the diamond protocol, it is infinitely upgradable, modifiable through function calls.
You can add facets, as many as possible, to your central immutable diamond.
So it allows you to update with standards.
It allows you to add new trait groups.
It allows you to add ERC tokens, the ERC 4685, I believe, or the EIP, whichever one is the account abstraction,
which is going to be very, very huge next year.
It gives us just so much flexibility and really goes to show for us of we're chain agnostic.
Art is going to come from blockchain, digital art, your brands, your companies.
My original focus was specifically on NFTs, and it's grown from there.
Like, why limit myself just to this medium?
Any digital art, anyone who is looking to either exercise their IP for a business,
or if they just want to save money on cool custom products featuring their designs that they bought,
they resonate with, they either want to have it on a mug or a shirt or a metal print,
or if you want to put it on shoes, if you want to get an all-over and get a pattern.
Like, we have thousands of options on hundreds of products.
And if we don't have it, I can probably find it.
And I found quite a few that don't do print-on-demand, but they're pretty close,
like really low MOQs, like 50 or 100, which is super low when you're talking about printing custom stuff.
But we're always looking at ways that we can improve, that we can do better,
that we can give back more, and how we can support.
And it's really, I have found that it goes back to just our collaboration as part of us helping others
that are helping themselves through partnerships.
So initially, it was only two NFTs, and you could become a partner,
which would get you a dedicated page with your own branding and dedicated listings,
and you would have more control over the look and that aspect.
It went up to four in November, given the response from everyone.
And now on December 1st, it's going up to eight because of the response that I've gotten this month
and knowing what I have for December.
And I got a busy weekend, and I'm excited about it because I'm creating, I'm crafting, I'm helping,
we're starting new things, I love, I love this.
I love taking an idea and turning it into, here's the steps, here's what we're going to do,
here's the aspects, and then seeing it come to fruition.
I mean, that's why we build.
That is part of my journey is I'm a teacher at heart.
Actually, I've been teaching cannabis business classes at a community college.
So I'm not only a teacher at heart, I have also taught some cannabis at college.
Super cool, love saying that.
Helped open the very first dispensary in Utah.
I was born in Orem, so the fact that I helped open the first one there is mind-blowing.
I don't know if my daughter's laughing at something on her screen.
So yeah, it's been a really wild, it's been a wild ride.
We launched in November on Solana.
Our community made the decision to go multi-chain, and that is part of our expansion onto Polygon for those tokens.
We're 1,000 NFTs in our collection, and we have, I think, just under 500 of those left.
So we are very excited of just helping more partners, more people that see this vision of, yeah, let's do things together.
Like, let's support, and we're going to get so much further than we would on our own.
Plus, it's really, really lonely.
It's just, it's, I will, I don't want to say never.
I have no plans to start a company being the sole owner.
I, it just, it's, it's good to have partners in things that you do, different perspectives, different eyes.
They can help you see things that you got blinders onto.
It's part of, thank you to my wife, of helping me recognize different things.
And I am now three months into, I've had ADHD my whole life, and I just found out three months ago.
So there's been a big adjustment to that aspect.
But it makes so much sense of, like, my hyper focus and just the way that I'm able to see things.
And it's, it's all about accepting yourself of who you are.
Like, yes, I have, I have bad aspects of me.
I'm going to make mistakes.
And I'm accepting that, especially as a father to a four-year-old and seeing how I'm reacting to things and then stopping and being like, what am I doing this?
Like, and, and it's, it's really, really, there's just stuff that's in your mind and you have no idea where it comes from.
And then you realize, like, I don't care about this.
Like, like, why do I care about this?
I can't even give you an example because at that point it went out of my mind.
Like, it was, it was like a shedding moment.
And so where I, a connection was made and I'm like, no, actually, that's not the way that I look at this anymore.
Parenting is really wild.
It has shown me so much about myself, especially now that she just turned four.
So it's just very, very exciting.
Just, she melts my heart and frustrates me and I love her and all the things that are just part of being a, being a dad.
So I'm, I'm here doing my thing.
You're always going to get me.
I bring my energy into what I do.
I'm very passionate about what I do.
I'm here to help people and help to show that you can set up companies this way.
And this should be the norm where most of what you're making is going to the people that are supporting you and that help you build it.
And it's, it's a little different than like, I'd say like Winco, like the employee owned type of company where yes, they have stocks and stuff, but they don't really make any decisions or anything like that.
Like that's, that's the difference of the people who want to be involved in leadership and the people who want to be contributing and making a difference towards what is happening in the community, in the community, in the company, you have that opportunity.
And if you don't, you can be part of it and get the benefits and be part of it and learn and see if maybe you want to be involved in the next one.
Sometimes it's just learning and being there and seeing it and experiencing something to show either I can do that, or that's not as complicated as I thought it was, or here's the secret.
Most people have like one or two things they do really, really well.
And they are kind of making up the rest as they go along.
Myself included on a lot of areas, I have confidence and I trust myself in knowing what I've done.
But still, like these are all new experiences.
Like this is new stuff in the blockchain.
Every day is something new and different to adjust and adapt to and see if this works.
Let's try this direction.
Let's, I'm, I'm more, especially with return on demand.
I mean, we can try anything.
Let's try any, anything silly, anything fun.
Like, let's just try stuff and let's see.
And if it's, if it hits, awesome.
And if it doesn't, I hit delete and it's, there's no stock.
There's no a hundred, a thousand, whatever you got to get rid of.
The stuff's not going to end up at Ross or end up somewhere else where it's wasted and all of that extra wasted gas and carbon.
And it just, it's all of those aspects back to print on demand and why print on demand is so important about for the responsibility that we have to be accountable for ourselves and accountable to the future of knowing that all of our actions, little actions all add up to big ones.
Um, I remember hearing when I was young, like, well, I'm only one person.
Um, that's common thing when people talk about why they didn't vote.
We don't have to talk about that, but, uh, every action makes a difference.
Every one of them has ripples and it's the wake of the boat that's moving forward.
The past does not define us.
The past is what happened.
Um, I personally have been working on not immediately thinking about past things when I wake up about not thinking about the thing that frustrated me the day before that I wished had gone a different way.
Um, some mornings are better than others.
Um, and that's part of the daily practices and things that I'm learning through this journey that it's, it's, that's the stuff that helps, helps.
Helps us to get into that mindset, helps us to, uh, be our best possible selves that day.
And also giving yourself the, uh, giving, allowing yourself to have a bad day and not getting mad at yourself because you're having a bad day.
Um, I do that all the time, which just makes it worse.
It's, it's, it's, it's, you're just like, why am I being like, it's, it's, ah, it, yeah.
So, um, I, uh, a lot of the times when I'm talking, I'm talking to myself.
Um, I have to hear it vocalized and as everyone knows, it's easier to give advice than it is to take it.
So, um, that's why I sometimes go off on tangents like that because I just lost my complete train of thought.
Um, especially as soon as you said ADHD, I kind of saw it coming.
So all good, but let's see, let me see.
Um, a couple of things to touch on for sure.
Um, you and well, the money down there, the appreciators, you guys are a lot similar.
He can, more than anything, touch a lot on the fact of, yes, being the only one at the top, it's very lonely.
Um, that's basically why he created us.
He created the A team because he needed that backboard.
He needed those other people to stand by his side and share the same vision that he does.
And that's kind of why we're here.
So, I mean, I'm glad that you see that.
And I hope that you can find, um, your own tribe, right.
Your own people to kind of support you the way you say you, your wife has been, and she's been pushing you.
Well, yes, that's definitely what you need.
What you need to, um, you know, surround yourself with.
Other than that, yeah, same thing.
We are, we are very, very, um, I'm trying to say the word you said, but yeah, we were very accommodating and we moved a lot through different chains.
Like you said, you know, we started on Eve, we've gone through Polygon.
And, um, well, for now, that's all I'm going to leave it at because I'm not the money.
I'm not going to be leaking everything.
But yes, everything is always a possibility, like you said.
And, um, before that, I just, I want to, because I'm not one to not give someone shit.
So, um, I'm going to go ahead and give shit to my co-host for being late.
Big Ben, you keep saying daylight savings time.
It's been like three weeks.
You got to get used to it.
What's going on, brother?
Cuckoo, cuckoo, motherfuckers.
Ah, fashionably late, as always.
Yeah, I was cooking bacon and parking around and, yeah, lost track of time.
You know how Saturday mornings go sometimes.
Love to hear what you've had to say, Nar.
I couldn't, I couldn't help, and Joe's going to laugh at this, but, uh, when I first saw
your name, I thought of, uh, Nardwar, the, the human serviette, which is, I think just
a Canadian thing, but that's where my mind went initially.
I'm like, I like this guy.
Cause I have not heard of that.
There's a Nard, there's a Narwhal song from like the seventies that somebody played for
Cause my first collection, again, was the, the Narnarwhals.
No, I'll, I'll, I'll find it.
I'll find something with him on, uh, X here and I'll post it up top.
Just, just for a bit of reference, he, he was, uh, I love it.
He was a, uh, much music, uh, interview, like a BJ or whatever, eh?
Like he was like a character on, uh, the Canadian version of MTV and yeah, he's, yeah, very Canadianism.
Um, so I didn't really expect you to, to understand it, but, uh, that, that aside, I, I love, uh,
yeah, I love, I love to see what you're doing.
I totally agree that, uh, yeah, bringing, uh, bringing web three into web two and making
that as, uh, simple as possible, uh, and as clean as possible, uh, for, for people that
like that hold NFTs or don't, um, to be able to add stuff to their own merchandise and just
have a, uh, one-stop shop to do that.
Um, and tied into a DAO, uh, setup as well, uh, definitely, definitely is a, a cool, uh,
So yeah, I love, love what you're doing there.
Love what you had to say, love your energy and, uh, yeah, just your, your overall take
on, on how you're going about it.
So yeah, just keep building, bro.
And, uh, yeah, happy to have you here and sorry I was late.
Thank you, uh, for all that.
I'm, uh, I used to have Caleb time, uh, that all my friends would joke about.
Uh, that was another thing that, uh, was part of ADHD that my wife, uh, helped me to break
Um, I used, I was the guy that would get to the airport, not stop walking.
Cause I had already checked in and I would literally walk to my gate as they were boarding.
I would cut it close all the time.
I traveled a bunch for business when I was doing a lot of consulting, uh, in other States,
I went a bit more remote at that point, but, uh, yeah.
Um, now, uh, I realized I was creating so much extra anxiety for myself, but I didn't
need to, if I would have just, you know, left a bit.
So, um, but yeah, yeah, no sweat.
It's I've, I was late for everything for like a solid decade.
Don't, you don't need to give them excuses.
Danny, Danny knows I like, actually I have PTSD over being late.
I I'm actually the, the least late person that I know.
Uh, my mom used to notoriously be late to bringing me to school.
I'd make her coffee, have it on top of the car, warm up the car.
So I just ended up starting walking and biking to school.
Cause I'm like, I can't, I can't trust anybody anymore.
I just got to get my, myself here.
Uh, but yeah, like no excuses.
Uh, I blame the bacon, but yeah, I'm going to find Nard war here.
Um, yeah, you find our words.
Let's, we'll get back to that.
Um, in the meantime, Nard, I do know you mentioned, uh, custom merge.
Well, in between that first brand.
So if we can just, you know, hyperfy into that one right now, how do we get into getting
our, our merge, you know, through you?
So, uh, one NFT, uh, gets you access to create any items you want with any images, uh, from
And it'll go into our, uh, general, uh, categories through, uh, uh, yeah, like, like shirts and
hoodies and accessories and home goods and that kind of stuff.
Um, if you have up to four NFTs, uh, that is a partner page.
So the, uh, partner page gets you a dedicated link, uh, with branding where, uh, we take your
designs, if it's a, uh, a company or, uh, we, we take things related to your, uh, brand.
If it's an NFT company slash project, and we let you list as many items, different types,
multiple, uh, if you want to have six different shirts with V-necks and tanks and different
material, uh, as well as, um, like I said, all over prints and, uh, other stuff, uh, for
the home goods, kitchen goods, um, outdoor stuff, uh, we were able to customize sporting
goods and on basketballs that I have seen.
Um, I just am continuing to look at different niche items for that.
So, uh, the process is you, uh, uh, either go, uh, purchase one of our sole NFTs off of
Um, though I believe that's, they're also on OpenSea and just default to Magic Eden.
Um, or you can go and mint one of the Gnar, uh, AF arcades on Polygon, and those are 33
And what we're doing today, uh, as part of my gratitude for, uh, this weekend and just for
today, anyone who mints today is going to get a free Gnar AF arcade airdropped to you.
Uh, anyone who refers, someone who mints, you both get a freebie because referrals are
And then we got the buy one, get one for today.
Um, we're also running through Monday.
If you, so this, this is separate.
If you, if you get one free, you have to mint and pay for three, uh, NFTs.
Uh, that would be 99 Matic.
You'll get your fourth one free and that gives you enough NFTs for you to be a partner.
And all you need to do to request that is make sure that you open a ticket, um, in the
Gnar server before, uh, November 30th.
I'm going to be marking all of those down and we will get, uh, everything sorted, mapped
out as far as our initial call.
That's basically what happens is I'll get on the phone with, uh, with you through discord
or, and then we can kind of map out the, the, the plan.
These are the things that I need from, from you as far as your brand development.
And, uh, then we, uh, hit the ground running.
So, um, a couple of different ways, again, that you can go about, uh, doing it.
If you just want to register your wallet and you don't want to pick anything, uh, you can
do that, uh, as far as on us, uh, listing items.
Um, if you want specific items with your NFTs, uh, that, you know, exactly what you want,
either it's for a gift or it's something that you want to purchase yourself.
Uh, we have, uh, a, uh, Google form that is there for you to be able to submit and say,
this is the NFT, this is where it is.
And then I go grab it off the blockchain and, uh, upscale or remove backgrounds or do whatever
I need to do, uh, for the particular item, uh, depending on how big it is for shirts.
Of course, they always need to be, uh, upscaled, which, uh, I, I've got multiple processes
depending on what it is that I'm starting with.
So, uh, first and foremost is, uh, go snag and NFT, um, if you want to check out what
we're doing, uh, also I am doing 35% discounts to everyone, uh, no limit, single order.
So you have to, uh, uh, make sure that whatever you get, you get in that order.
Cause it's only one use per person on that code, uh, for you to be able to check out our quality,
check out what we can do, uh, be able to, uh, get some cool custom merch from our brand
partners or our members, and that'll show you what it'll be like on the, uh, the site
and how your items could be listed.
I mean, it's, it's really the, the beauty of the internet, the beauty of the computer is
we're working with a blank slate.
If you want it to look completely different than other ones, uh, on your page, we can do
Um, if you only want to have some very specific and you only want to do mugs, like you want
Like there's, there really is no limit, uh, besides your imagination.
And then I'll tell you if we have the technology, uh, set up to do it, uh, if not, I'll find
out if it exists and then I can give a realistic timeframe on how we can, how we can do it.
Um, cause, uh, stuff changes fast, uh, new protocols come out, new things that allow us
to, uh, interact, uh, more with the blockchain and non-blockchain, uh, protocols.
A lot of that is happening.
So, uh, again, it's really exciting time with, with all of the things that are happening.
Um, I started going through your website, actually, I was looking into a lot of stuff.
Um, so anyone out there, if you guys want to go and try to link up with NAR, if you go
to the website, you go all the way down.
They, that's where they've got their link tree.
So you've got access to obviously our, you know, Twitter, discord, the whole thing.
Ben, I'm going to kick it over to you so you can explain to us what this Nardwar 70s looking
guy, what's going on here?
So that, that's Nardwar, the human serviette, which if you don't know what a serviette is,
Uh, so he is a human napkin and yeah, he's got some, he's been around forever.
It obviously, yeah, look through his page.
People, uh, still dress up as him for Halloween.
That was a great interview with Snoop Dogg.
He's interviewed everybody.
Uh, so yeah, obviously spelled different, but that's, that's where my mind went.
That's the guy that, uh, he knows super random specific facts about people.
So he like, he knows everything.
He's like, he knows everything.
He has like a photographic memory.
So I saw, uh, an interview with him in like Nas, like Nasir Jones.
And he was like, he's like, yeah, man, when you were, when you were a kid, you used to
hang out with this guy named Buck, right?
And, and Nasir was like, what the fuck, man?
And he's like, yo, like, how do you even know that, dude?
Like, yeah, now it's all come back to me now, man.
Canadians, the first Canadian stalker.
I want to do, uh, Nasir though.
I did, I did, I did, like, did you touch on IP or anything?
Um, like, I know you said that there's a Google form that you have to fill out if you want
to, uh, if you want to use your own NFTs.
Is that, is that just so you can ensure that, that they are the owner of it?
Like, is there, is there an ability for somebody to just print out or make a collection of someone
else's NFTs or like, how are you going about controlling that?
Ben, are you out of Waterfall or what, bro?
I'm cooking more bacon, man.
That's just the sound of, that's the sound of beauty right there.
So, um, yes, uh, that is part of the, the process is I, I verify it's in their wallet.
Um, and, uh, I also, uh, do, uh, uh, uh, an ongoing verification when I'm, uh, to, to
Part of my grand vision of the, uh, aggregation through using, uh, blockchain and real-time
data is going to completely remove that.
Um, but, uh, I definitely know in the, the space, if I'm not sure I can go and check terms
and conditions, uh, in this space, the, the default is that we get IP rights.
Uh, many collections don't even have terms and conditions.
Uh, they just state you get IP rights, but they don't really define it.
Um, there's some good agreements out there that I've looked at, uh, that really helped
to, to lay it down of like, this is what you get, but making sure to like on trademarks
Um, you, you can't necessarily use those.
Like for example, like if you look at me, my PFP is the hippie life group and I have
their logo in my NFT that I could use, but I couldn't go and snag that logo and use that,
uh, specifically because that's part of the collections IP.
Um, so just, just making sure on those things, that's part of the education piece of, okay,
Um, and, uh, even, even with rugs, 90, I'd say 90% of the time, uh, it's your
art, but if they stole it, then no, but most of us aren't really, uh, uh, necessarily highlighting
when, when it's that instance.
Um, but, uh, but yeah, I mean, I have some art from projects that I know that, uh, rug
that it was original art and the, uh, the founders just decided to do whatever they decided
Um, so I now have the, uh, the IP and I own it and I can create a new story around
Um, part of the, uh, the things that, uh, are, are on my, uh, my agenda to really get
going on these, uh, story aspects of stuff that's been marinating for a while.
The, the kind of, what would be kind of cool, uh, just kind of sent me down a bit of a, a
mind rabbit hole with like, and then people have done it in the past, like send me all your
rugged NFTs, uh, it would be kind of cool to make like a whole collection in your site
where it's just, everybody's like, like, cause yeah, we, we all have hidden folders full of
That's just kind of worthless quote unquote on the blockchain, but like still is amazing
artwork and still would look super dope on a t-shirt or something like that.
So that would be kind of cool to just like have, have a little section where it's, yeah,
the, the best of the worst kind of thing.
See that that's, uh, yeah.
And I have some pretty bad ones.
I just saw, I was going through my wallet, wallet, uh, on Thanksgiving.
That's a funny thing to do on Thanksgiving.
You're just like, I'll go look through my hidden folders.
I have some bored ape goblins.
Oh, I also have a goblin hot dog.
That is just, no, my gobzuki.
Anybody else have gobzukis from like, like they were a zukis, but fucking goblins.
I don't have those, but, uh, I have OX ape MFers, the ultimate derivative.
I'm actually still in a chat group with, uh, quite a few of, uh, of those, uh, humans.
I mean, it, it's, it literally is exactly what you think.
It's the yellow background with an MFer with a, uh, an ape head.
We've all, we've all made, uh, learning decisions in this space, but.
But think about the ugly Christmas sweater.
Like a Christmas sweater collage of rugs.
Like that would be the best.
I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll.
Collages are definitely something that I, uh, my hidden folder to that.
Now, uh, the, the question is, uh, now for the, for the dev, for Gordo of how do we do
Let that be dev problems.
Make, make, make their head, make their head for once.
We, um, uh, if, if you, any of you are not familiar with the diamond protocol, I think
Um, uh, he, uh, launched it on, uh, when he took over eight fathers.
Um, it's, I'm trying to recall the name of the guy who, uh, who authored the protocol.
Um, but, uh, uh, Gordo was able to adapt it for use on the polygon POS.
Uh, he had to do some adjustments that didn't, uh, wasn't just a straight, uh, cut and paste
like, uh, uh, you can do with, with some contracts currently on polygon.
So that part was really big for me of, uh, uh, ensuring that I can make changes and I can
add, uh, things as far as like stuff with, with tokens, or if there's ways of, uh, um,
like partnership aspects and just, there's just, who knows what the future holds.
So the ability for us to be able to grow as the technology grows has, uh, I, it has
been, I mean, I, I, I get a great feeling and not in a, I mean, it sounds kind of bad,
but, but when the others have to like go and migrate or if they're stuck and it's, I, I,
I don't feel good that they have to do that, but I feel good that, uh, I thought through that
and saw that, uh, I don't want to get stuck where my contract's completely immutable.
And if I have to swap everything out on it and that standards get better, like I know
my, uh, original Narnar Walls contract on ETH was a 721 before the A existed and gas
was just as much as the NFTs were, uh, on every single one.
So it was not optimized and just seeing now of what we have with, um, all of the, the
amazing no code tools, uh, manifold's awesome.
Um, um, launch my NFT is really easy to use.
They got tons of crap that everybody knows.
Um, I've used, I used auto mincer to relaunch Narnar Walls V2 on Polygon.
Uh, that was an amazing experience of just, okay, like this is, uh, I want to do this.
Uh, I had all of the, the different layers and they had the ability for me to do the layers
and traits and, and all of it.
Um, and it was just something that was really important to me of like, okay, I,
I, I want to get this out there.
I want to get it over on Polygon.
They're, uh, I think it's like 0.69 Matic.
Uh, so those are out there.
It's fun, silly storytelling, uh, collection of, uh, some silly Narnar Walls with, with
It's all about just trying to be silly and have fun.
And, uh, um, I was really pushing on the storytelling aspect, uh, with them and, uh, who knows what
the future holds there, there may be additional, uh, uh, things with the new characters that
I have that may go underwater and find some new friends.
And then who knows, you know, it's, uh, that's what I love about this is the, the ideas are
still out there and, um, somebody may, uh, have another idea to add to it.
Or, um, I mean, it's, it's been two years since I had that I've changed a lot.
I've experienced a lot, so I have some other things to kind of add to it.
And, um, yeah, it's, it's a fun world, I imagine.
Well, I personally just want to say, fuck you, Ben.
Um, I've been through, I've just been looking at all of my, um, rocked-ass NFTs.
This one would be amazing.
I'm like, can I get a call out on maybe this three or this one?
Uh, I, I just thought about it.
I actually have an NFT shirt from a project that runs.
So, I mean, I do have that one to cross off my list, but I would love the costume one.
But, NAR, um, let's get back to the beginning, right?
Let's kind of circle this thing around.
You started this space with a cup of coffee, if I believe.
So, could you tell us about this coffee you've got on?
So, uh, through our network, we are also offering NAR AF Coffee.
Um, we, uh, have partnered with a company in California that has 65 plus, uh, bean options.
Uh, we went through and found the ones that, uh, that fit us.
Uh, we got six blends get across the, uh, the spectrum.
Um, I really like Colombian and Costa Rican.
And so, those are in there.
Um, honestly, the only one that I don't like myself personally is the dark Italian roast.
It's just, even with my French press, it's just a little too much.
Um, because that's how I always drink my coffee is I just drink the blackout of the French press.
Um, but I know some people really like dark coffee.
So, uh, it's, um, available on our website.
Uh, it, uh, has the same discounts for, uh, members.
You can set up subscriptions on it.
Um, I know it's the, uh, the, the only coffee that I drink, uh, cause it's really good.
I wouldn't, I wouldn't sell it if I afford it.
Same thing with, um, the, uh, merchandise that I put up, the people that I partner with.
If it's not a collection, if it's not something that I support, uh, or we don't vibe and we
don't have the right values, it's not the right fit.
That's part of what I was going back to of finding the people that you can cooperate with
and it's not going to be everybody.
Um, so you just, you find people aligned with, with what you're, you're looking at.
So, um, we, uh, yeah, we have coffee.
Uh, we are going to have soap very, very soon.
Uh, excited, excited on, uh, some stuff, uh, that, uh, that we are doing there and, uh,
continuing to expand into other, uh, consumer package goods, other consumables, other thing
We want to support those that are choosing themselves.
And that includes, uh, like small businesses and, and, uh, uh, people that are producing
We're, we're using Shopify, uh, right now because that's what we need to do in order to
Um, the ideal future is going to be with, uh, continuing to support others that we've met
through our journeys that are doing these things that we can, uh, set that up, uh, for
them and be working together.
I mean, that ultimately is, is a big part of the, uh, the long-term vision is to help to
support a lot of smaller businesses that are choosing themselves and, and making, uh, making
their living and, and enjoying what they're doing each day.
But it starts with good coffee.
Um, I am actually more partial to a dark roast myself, unfortunately.
So I would, if I'm trying anything, I'm going to be trying the Italian, Ben, you can go fuck
Uh, we love Brittany, by the way.
I, I guess I have to call you Brittany.
My, my nickname doesn't make sense anymore.
So like, it just, it doesn't make sense anymore, but, um, I'm glad you get to spill her alpha
for us because she wasn't sharing any of that with us.
So I'm, I'm so happy you're here and are.
I know I was in her, I was in her space this morning and she was just talking about books.
She didn't talk about any alpha or anything.
Well, yeah, that's the book space though.
It's all about, uh, topic.
I just love, I love the connections.
Like that was so Joe, I got to say, it was amazing when I saw you in a petty gang, like
Oh, and it just, I have so much of that, uh, getting into the appreciation and then seeing
Um, shout out to the hippie life crew and just the amazing crew that, uh, I found over
there and inspiring me to just continuing to do what I'm doing, which is bringing my
energy and, uh, trying to share as much as I can and give as much as I can and be there
for my web three family, for my family here and, uh, find the balance to all of it.
That's what we're all trying to do.
And you're doing an amazing job, my friend.
That's why we wanted to bring you in.
We wanted to put you on the stage, put that spotlight on you and, uh, anybody who goes back
and listens to this recorded space can tap in now, you know, you got the rundown.
Uh, so, you know, once again, we appreciate you so much for coming on and hanging out
with us, uh, the appreciators, we are a community takeover project and, uh, we're just out here
We, you know, we've got our glue D money who, uh, he's down there and, you know, he he's
the, he's the one running the show, but, uh, you know, there's a lot of people who are standing
beside that guy with linked arms and, uh, you know, we ain't letting go for nothing.
So, uh, appreciate you in our father, Caleb for coming on today, man, and sharing what's
going on with Nare F Dow.
Um, you know, what a beautiful space.
And today is a lucky day because today is a double appreciation station space.
Uh, so today there's actually going to be a second space in about seven hours or six hours
Uh, so we're actually going to run episode 47 tonight as well, uh, with aura exchange is
going to be our guest tonight.
And they're going to tell us all about what's going on with them and, and how to tap in with
Uh, so thanks everybody who's here today and, uh, appreciate you.
I, I see we got Brittany up on stage.
Um, sorry, I'm a little under the weather right now, so forgive me, but, um, I did just
want to come up and shout out Caleb.
It has been a true gem working with you.
And if anybody has any, even remote thought of doing something like starting a business
like D money, this is your guy.
He is so easy to work with.
And when you think that you are overthinking it, he just reminds you of your basics and
allows you to just figure it out for yourself with like the simplest, most subtle guidance
that exists and he just proves how easy all of this is.
So I just have to give a big shout out to you.
Um, I, I would, I would drop alpha, but it's not my space.
You didn't catch in the cold.
I caught it through talking to you on the phone, Caleb.
I didn't know I was that powerful.
I mean, I know I'm a wizard, but.
More powerful than you think, but for real life, everyone needs to connect with you because
you are a, uh, a genuinely honest, just fantastic human being.
I don't know what other words to give you, but you are just a true gem to work with.
And, uh, I'm excited to, uh, set this, set the sucker into motion.
It's been, whew, it's been a fun journey, but I'm excited.
I appreciate you, Brittany.
I just wanted to say, uh, thanks for coming on the show, NAR.
You're amazing human and, uh, get ready, you guys, uh, what he's going to bring to the
web three spaces, not just positivity, but it's creativity, right.
And it's unity and it's pushing forward.
Um, I heard a lot of keywords, the whole, it was great to sit back and listen to you,
Um, all I was thinking was learn together, grow together, build together, you know, show
up, grow up, blow up, right.
We've been preaching this, you guys, right.
Uh, it's not what, you know, it is who, you know, and your, your network is your, is your
So, um, if you're not following everybody in the room, um, you slipped and bumped your
Um, if you didn't hear the alpha, um, it was probably because you had earplugs in instead
of earphones in, but yes, it's Saturday, you guys, you guys could be anywhere and you
choose to be here with us.
And we truly, truly appreciate each and every one of you.
Um, if you like what you hear, just know every Tuesday, every Thursday and every Saturday,
this is what you're going to get.
It's appreciators all up in your spaces, appreciate appreciators all up in your faces.
But yeah, and our, um, Brittany's been, been speaking very highly of you and, um, everybody
was just fighting to get you on the stage.
So, um, I know I got some guys down there that were hearing alpha.
You didn't need to, uh, say I'm leaking alpha.
Tons of alpha was leaked and, uh, whether you meant one or three or you grab whatever you're
going to grab, right, um, be ready, um, things are happening, you guys, and it's not just
So yeah, um, I can go on and on.
And, uh, it's an honor to have you on our stage, buddy.
I look forward to chatting.
Definitely love the vibes.
Yeah, no, lots of, lots of cool things in the works.
And it sounds like, yeah, I'll just, I'll just shut up.
Like, uh, we'll, we'll talk and we'll just keep learning and keep growing and building.
And, um, we have a lot of things coming, you know, I've been saying this and, uh, I,
I've been saying potions are in motion for geez, you know, over a month, but, but that's
because, um, it's not just potions of appreciation.
You guys like, uh, five, six things are cooking up in the background and, um, everything's going
I'm, I'm a firm believer of everything happens for a reason.
And when the time is right, everything's going to just happen.
Um, potions of appreciation, emotion.
And, uh, there's a lot of things that go with them.
So yeah, um, having you on the stage, having Brittany here, um, having hycoon in the building
One of the OGs and Isaiah's here, shorty talls, right?
Crooksy all the way from the UK.
You guys, um, this is true appreciation.
And, um, one thing we want to spread throughout web three is appreciation, right?
Um, we are the appreciators.
We appreciate community and we appreciate the blockchain, you know?
So, uh, everything that you were speaking of today, just aligns with the appreciators.
And we just want to show our appreciation to you and what you're doing.
And, um, we can't wait to watch you just keep growing.
Because it sounds like you're just getting started.
Yo, I'm not going to lie.
Um, I'm glad the money pivoted so quickly from like, I was about to mute him.
I was like, all right, you're leaking too much.
And then he pivoted and went back to like, you know, appreciation.
I was like, I swear, I was like, God damn it.
The one time I'm going to have to fucking boot the money off the stage.
We're not going to say no more.
On that note, we are over the one hour mark.
And as always, we want to, you know, let you guys have your Saturday.
Unless you guys are DJs like us.
And we'll have another space in less than six hours, my friends.
But we've heard from some of our latest.
I always like to have people say, you know, something to the stage before they leave.
Something they want to share with people in Web3.
So what would you leave with us?
Ask what you can do for others.
And don't be afraid to reach out to someone that inspires you and let them know that you appreciated it.
That has created amazing relationships for me just by reaching out.
Danny, on that note, you can head over to Artie's page and not just reach out to them, you guys.
You can grab them a sub-donate and get them a NAR, you inspire me.eth, right?
This is what Web3 is about, you guys.
Bringing real people on that are doing real things.
And just the connections, right?
I don't know where my brain went there with Artie.
But it was truly the you inspire me part, you guys.
So, each and every one of you guys.
I see Big Fudd down there, right?
And it's why I show up every day.
Thank you for being here.
He's one of two of our amazing community managers, right?
We're going to wrap this up.
So, thank you guys for being here.
And like Danny's punk ass said, you're going to have to hear us in a couple hours.
We got an amazing show later, too.
And the team from Aura Exchange, Andy, one of the OGs from the appreciators, actually.
We'll get into that later.
He's going to tell us everything they got cooking, you guys.
There's a lot of things going on.
Like I said, it's not just one thing over here or two things with the appreciators or three or four.
And we're honored to build these bridges, right?
So, yeah, you guys, have a wonderful, wonderful Saturday.
Happy holidays if you celebrate Thanksgiving.
I hope you had a great Thursday.
If not, just I hope you had a great day.
Thank you guys for being here.
And, yeah, get used to it.
We're not going anywhere.
Thank you all for being here.
I appreciate all of you for giving us your time.
If you are down and free, 8 p.m. EST, we will be talking to Andy.
I really hope he doesn't know that I'm the one behind the account because I just want to give that, you know, a little surprise.
I'm going to give him so much fucking shit.
I'm going to work on my Australian accent.
I'll be back in six hours.
Thank you for being here.
And, as always, we will catch you next time.
