allow us to sell, transfer, buy, and make many things with it,
but because it is a way for us to record this art or the metadata
and everything else inside a chain, a decentralized chain
that will make it last forever.
So it is a fact of source because it is linking an NFT to the blockchain
and it's linked an NFT to a certain person and linking the collector to me.
Exactly that. I love that expression of you saying that we are exploring NFTs
not only for selling, but also this kind of soulbound that allows for so many things.
And soulbound, it's a concept that for the ones that don't know,
it already existed for a while and Vitalik actually coined this term, soulbound,
but basically means non-transferable.
So once it's attached to a wallet or to an NFT, that's what Remark developed
because before the soulbound NFTs could be only attached to one wallet,
but now they can be attached to another NFT, which is also mind-blowing if you ask me.
This is a concept that it's really interesting to explore.
And for now, it's maybe we don't have so many ideas about it,
but in the future, I'm sure that it's going to be even more used.
For example, myself, I'm also an artist and one of the arts that I did,
I created also a soulbound NFT, which is an award that I received for that art piece.
And then I created this soulbound that it's the award and I send it directly to the art piece.
So it's connected always with the art piece because that's what makes sense.
So the collector will get the art piece and see that there's a soulbound NFT, which is the award for it.
So this is also great examples.
And thank you also, the philosopher, for explaining a little bit also your collection
and these different variants that you have.
And one of the cool things also about Singular is that it's going to be a cross-chain marketplace.
So in the sense that it's not, it doesn't mean that we can transfer NFTs from one chain to another,
but it means that it's going to show all the NFTs from all the different chains in the same marketplace.
So when you are filtering, you can actually filter for the network that you want to see,
for the chain that you want to see, or you can see all networks and it's going to show all the NFTs that exist.
So now you've got the Singular, you're going to see everything that exists already on Kusama
and everything that exists on Moonbeam.
And in the future, we're going to add Ethereum, K-Sync, Arbitron and many more chains.
So then it's up to the artist to choose which chain to try it and to use it.
And it's a perfect place to just choose, to have the freedom, not only because of the NFTs 2.0,
but because of the chains also.
And again, just a reminder that anybody that is listening now, if you want also to come and speak,
just make a good request and I will add you here with pleasure.
We are now listening to Diffie Goldsburg and Mikael about their collections on Singular
and what are their plans.
But I know there are more people here also.
So here we have already a request.
And I'm adding now, back to point, welcome.
And please make a short introduction about yourself.
Back to point, I think you are already here.
I don't know what happened.
I tried to figure out what the problem is.
I tried to solve it on two different phones, but something happened and, you know, I was able to attend the channel.
You are here now, so you manage and that's what matters.
Introduce a little bit yourself and your art.
We are a duo consisting of me and my brother, Tuna.
We are from Turkey, based in Istanbul.
I don't know, is there any artist from Turkey?
We founded Back to points in 2020.
Before that, I was a practicing video artist who was active at international video art scene,
exhibited at many experimental film festivals, video art festivals, and media art festivals.
I was mostly creating video essay kind of documentaries at the intersections of video art and documentary film.
And then my practice mostly was based on the idea of the transformation of individuals before different agents of powers.
At one point, I was very satisfied.
I wasn't so satisfied with my practice, bored of the international scene of video art and experimental film.
I said, okay, I should stop my practice and I should focus on something which is challenging for me.
And I started working on animation, 3D animation and simulation.
For three or four years, I created mostly commercial videos, 3D animations, for different kind of sectors.
At one point, as I was having a conversation with Tuna, we asked why we aren't working together.
Tuna then was working on a video game.
And we tried to create our duo, Back to points.
So, we founded our studio in 2020, then our focus was mostly creating works for gallery spaces and museums.
I mean, mostly contemporary art scene.
As we were trying to figure out what kind of artistic voice we should have.
As we were discussing about it, the NFT scene was flourishing.
Initially, we didn't understand what was going as many artists experienced then.
And Tuna told me, brother, there are so many artists creating artworks for these spaces.
I mean, because as a digital artist, before the NFT space, it wasn't so easy to sell your artworks.
Particularly if you are creating video works, because, I mean, there are so many reasons, already you are familiar with this.
I said, Tuna, are you sure about that?
I mean, are you sure something could be easily sold on the internet?
Of course, there are so many venues, not as an NFT space, but as a space where you can sell your works.
But there is a different kind of idea behind these spaces.
So, first, we try to understand what NFT is, you know, how does it work.
But still, we had some second thoughts, you know.
So, after initially grasping some ideas of NFTs, we started creating artworks.
We applied for some spaces, like Foundation, make Rarible, and we sold some artworks there.
And then Binance invited us to put our works on their newly created space.
For a year, we were very active on Binance, and we sold very well there.
And, I mean, at one point, Nifty Getaway invited us as a publisher on their spaces.
Also, we created some specially commissioned NFTs for some brands, like Icon, which is a leading marketing agency in France, and some other venues in Turkey.
Also, more or less, we have been active on NFT scene for more than two and a half years.
It's really impressive, your background and experience, and how you joined NFT space, and how things start to roll, it seems.
And we are excited also to have you on Singular.
So, can you tell a little bit about what it's going to be, your art concept for Singular, what it's going to be your collection about?
I mean, we have some works available, but we don't want to put these works there.
I'm talking with Tuna what kind of works we should create for this space, because the idea behind the Singular is quite new.
I mean, these nested kind of works, I mean, kind of adding extra NFTs to your already created NFT work.
It is very interesting idea, very challenging.
And we are thinking about, I mean, what kind of future this could have.
I mean, of course, this is a future, but I believe that, I mean, this could create so many different kind of uses, you know.
Rather than its initial idea, for example, an ongoing artwork.
We are currently thinking about that.
Rather than finished artwork, instead of creating already finished artwork, I mean, like constantly evolving artwork.
I think you were not here before, when Mikhail was talking actually about this concept,
that he also wants to deliver something that then it's by chapters, so each chapter is going to be revealed after.
And one of the ways of doing that, it's with the multi-asset NFT, so because at any time, you can send a new asset to the NFT that you already created.
So, like you were saying, it's an artwork that keeps evolving, so you can really add more and more assets.
More nested NFTs, so one NFT upon the other NFT.
And this is just the primary feature that we have now, because in the future, we're also going to have the equipable NFTs built on UI.
And then this kind of sense that you are saying about an art evolving can be even further explored,
because I can imagine, for example, all these artists that are here collaborating to make different collections,
that all can be equipped in each other.
So then the collector can also have this power of creating their own art piece by combining the different art pieces from different artists.
This is something that we are eager also to explore.
But yeah, go on and tell us a little bit more about this.
I mean, you know, the historical avant-garde, one of the major art currents at the historical avant-garde was surrealism, you know.
And one of the terms of surrealism was to create an artwork created by different artists using different techniques.
It is so suitable to that kind of idea.
I mean, the NFT is already a kind of avant-garde to me, because, you know, the historical avant-garde,
it was avant-garde because it transformed the whole culture, whole art scene all over Europe and many different countries.
So since the onset of NFTs, we are more or less seeing, maybe not in the scale of that time,
but it's changing so many things, how people look at arts, you know, how we are thinking about arts.
So, I mean, that new kind of minting and creating artworks probably will add to that, you know, that kind of thinking.
So currently, Tuna and me, together, we are thinking about that, how we can, you know, use this kind of working to our works.
We are thinking about that. We are not clearly, currently, we don't have any clear idea how we can apply this kind of working to our own working practice.
But I believe that, more or less, we will come up with something which is quite suitable to our practice.
But it's very challenging, you know, rather than creating already finished artwork, you know.
So I believe that it will inspire us to create different kind of artworks. I believe that.
Yes, another percent. And that's why also we're going to try to have more of these kind of fitter spaces
to inspire each other, because the idea is really that we are building tools for creators to unleash their creativity.
So the artists that are here, including you and the philosopher, Michele, and other ones, Kaminsky, Zio, Vinay,
similarly artists that are joining also Singler, Irena, and for sure we're going to explore a bit these tools.
But that's exactly the idea. We want for artists to have the freedom to explore.
And, of course, there's still going to be some limitations, because we cannot do everything.
But what already exists on Singler already allows for this exploration of creativity.
And the philosophers, for example, already explored with multi-assets and soul bond NFTs.
Michele also is talking about that, of sending assets through time.
So the collection keeps growing and the NFT itself keeps growing.
And that's exactly what also excites me about this, to see what other artists are creating.
Because I'm an artist myself, and I'm already creating some things also on Singler.
But I'm excited to see others and to see what other people will do and how they're going to explore further this kind of NFTs.
Because then we're going to inspire each other and we're going to foster more collaboration.
And for me, this is the real revolution on the digital art.
The NFT started, the NFT is 1.0, but now the NFT is 2.0, are really unleashing that.
And the philosopher, Michele, feel free also to chime in about this and your ideas about it.
I mean, maybe the most powerful side of the Singler is that collaborative side.
Because, I mean, the other spaces, they're all closed spaces.
You know, as an artist, you're just there and you create artwork.
You mint there and it stays there and a collector, you know, buys it.
Of course, I mean, there is kind of, you know, a collaborative side, but it's very wee.
It's very tiny, you know.
It cannot be, you know, enlarged easily.
I mean, that kind of working on the Singler, I mean, it's very fruitful, you know.
I mean, there are so many possibilities of that, you know, adding constantly, you know, evolving.
Like, as I said, you know, a kind of surrealist activity.
I mean, that kind of, you know, working should be emphasized.
So, maybe even you could create puzzles, you know.
I mean, like, you create an artwork and you create a gap and you could say, please, other, you know, fellow artists, come up with an idea and fill that gap.
So, so many possibilities.
Yeah, you're really, really looking forward to seeing, you know, how we can work with other artists there.
I think one of the ways, actually, that we can explore already is with nestable NFTs.
It's because any artist can create a normal NFT that's right there.
And then other artists can create their own NFT and send to this one as a nestable.
So, imagine that it's like, and the cool thing is that imagine the collector just buys the main one and all the others come attached because they are nestable.
So, but the cool feature about this is also that anytime the collector can unbundle them.
So, it can detach each NFT and sell it individually.
So, this can also create a cool way for a collector to buy a bundle of parts together, you know, and just detach everything and seal single ones because then it can make more profit, for example.
So, I think the feature is not only for the artists, of course, mainly for the artists, but also for the collectors.
It can also be interesting to see how they can use it and how they're going to develop for them.
So, just a break again to remind everyone that we are talking about NFTs on Singular, NFTs 2.0, and also with the artists that are already joining on Moonbeam Network and already trying.
We have a sponsorship program that we support by covering the minting fees.
And exactly because we want this, we want artists that come and explore, even if we are still in the better stage on Moonbeam, and there may be some bugs and some features that are missing, but everything is being developed.
And this feedback and your experimentation and your experience will bring us also added value to that.
And that's why there's also this artist role that I have as an artist advocate, to listen to artists, to see what is missing, to see what features they want, and also to see how they use these features and how to use their creativity with our NFTs 2.0.
So, thank you very much for all of you that are listening and already using, because you are the pioneers of Moonbeam.
And I imagine that in 5-10 years, you're going to be able also to tell to other friends and say, yeah, I was one of the artists that started on this Singular and started with NFTs 2.0.
So, that's for sure, it's going to be something to brag about.
I don't know if the philosopher of Mikhail wants also to come in and say something about it.
Yes, that can be very cool.
Also, I think that with Nestable NFTs, it can be a good opportunity for artists to collaborate, to create interdisciplinary forms of art.
I think that can be very interesting, and the possibilities can be endless.
You state a very good point, this interconnection also between different areas of art.
Because with Nestable, you can have one, imagine that you have a big video that has got soundtrack and animation and everything.
But then you can also have different NFTs inside that one, for example, just the audio track, just the music.
So, then you can collaborate with the musician, you can collaborate with the video editor, you can collaborate with the animator.
And all of these can have different NFTs that can get together on the same Nestable one.
And I see that also, especially now listening to your stories about the background and filming, this can be also very interesting to develop, for sure.
Yes, that's definitely what I was thinking about, yes.
And I would like to tell one more thing based on what you're talking about on collaborations.
That is, it could be an interesting way of making a fundraising where every artist from the fundraising add one NFT, a nested NFT,
to a single NFT, in order for it to be sold in a whole time, you know, and you can split the resources in an easy way and deliver one NFT together with lots of NFTs with the other people.
And the collector would be able to split it and do lots of things.
So, it's a good way to make fundraising, I think.
Definitely, that's also a brilliant idea, actually.
And again, just a reminder, if somebody else wants to speak, also just make a request, and I'll be happy to bring you on board.
Not only to share your experience also as an artist, but also if you have some questions, feel free to say it.
Mikkel, do you have to say something?
No, I think I told everything I have to say for now.
No, I thought you had the mic on.
I want to thank all there for attending this event.
I want to thank the Singular for giving us that chance of being on the platform.
Really, really looking forward to seeing how we can all together create artworks and share the space for space with so many different artists and collectors.
Let's see how we can shape the future together.
Thanks to everybody for your attention.
And keep in mind that we also have a Singular Telegram group for artists, because that's the point also to collaborate, to share ideas there, to support each other.
And also myself, Magus, as an artist advocate, to be there and to answer any questions I can.
And I'm really so happy for all of you to be sharing this experience with us and trying Moonbeam Network and trying also to meet something there and exploring NFTs 2.0.
And believe me, there's going to be also some more cool features coming and also some rewards for people that are already meeting on Moonbeam, because for us, it's really important also the community and the users.
And again, like I said since the beginning, Remarkable is that this idea of developing tools for creators.
And of course, everybody wants to sell and everybody wants also to make a living of it, but the possibilities that all this can bring are huge than any selling point, I think, at the moment.
So thank you again, everybody, and thank you for attending these Twitter spaces.
I will give just a few more minutes.
So if somebody wants to speak or make a question, feel free to ask me.
If not, while I'm speaking, please make the request.
If not, I want to say thank you again to the Philosopher, back to Points, to Mikael, and so many other artists that are here that I know that also are already on Singler and going to be meeting there soon.
So I'm so excited to see your collections and if possible also to purchase some of them and because I'm also a collector.
And yeah, just final words from, ah, there's a request here.
So let me just add, Irena is joining, so I think she's also an artist that's going to join Singler soon with a new collection.
So we get also to know, Irena, welcome.
Hi, hi, hello to everyone.
I'm really happy to be on Singler and I was really excited when I, you know, when I get a message that I was in the competition that I was in.
So I'm really looking forward to see how, actually this part of artist collaboration is really very interesting to me.
And I would really like to explore that, um, that part more, uh, I'm, I'm artist for all my life and, um, I have art degree.
So, um, I also do art in, uh, you know, like traditional sense.
And, um, when I kind of find out about, um, NFTs and, um, I, I researched the place, but, uh, for me in the beginning, it was, uh, really uncomfortable because, um,
you know, I'm, I'm dyslexic.
So, um, to be able to kind of code and, um, at the beginning, like the, to mint without a really kind of clear interface was, um, super scary and super difficult, uh, because I couldn't believe my, I couldn't trust my brain actually to, to kind of like really replicate, um, the sequence in certain order.
So, um, for, for me, that was kind of like the impediment, but, um, right now that, um, through, through the space and merge all these, um, user friendly solutions, I think that's really great.
And I think that kind of, um, enables more artists to, to come and, um, include them into this really, um, I, I agree completely with you, um, uh, back to points.
I, I, like, this is something that's, um, developing right now that is completely new, I think in our historic moment in, in regards to art.
And then I discovered, um, uh, AI art, which is completely, completely different than, uh, my regular work.
Um, but, um, what, um, what I did and I really like was to, um, be able to experiment and that part that you can experiment and make your own data sets and train your own models was that really kind of, um, was interesting and to me and I really embrace it.
Um, so, uh, so, uh, it also, uh, opened, uh, my regular practice in a different way.
So, I, I feel like I now have, like, expanded my horizon significantly and, um, I would also like to include, um, you know, like a coding element into my AI, but because I don't know how to code, I'm looking forward to this, um, collaborative part in singular, really.
So, um, so, thank you for, um, making it possible.
Thank you for, for also being here, sharing a bit your story and being able, we're going to be meeting on singular soon and, uh, and also because of that, of, of some, um, learning difficulties that all of us have.
That's why we also have the Telegram artist group and also our Twitter DMs are open.
So, anytime people have any questions, just feel free to ask.
We are here to support and we really want this to be as user-friendly as possible.
And, of course, we know that sometimes it's not easy to understand also all the NFTs 2.0, but that's why we have this kind of support.
So, um, again, thank you everyone to being here.
Uh, we're going to finish now this space.
Uh, I go on to make it regularly, so hopefully next week or in two weeks we'll make it again with the same artist or other ones, whoever wants to join.
And, um, I opened the mic to, to the artist here, to the philosopher, back to two points, Irena and Michele.
If you want to say some final words, please do it now.
I want to thank everyone to, to be here, uh, and listen to us and everyone also that, uh, spoke because I learned a lot of things with all of you.
I'm following, following everyone and I'm craving to, to, to meet you inside Singular and, uh, know your works and see what you're doing.
I'm excited to, to meet new friends.
I hope you like my new series, Kinetic Abstractionism.
And please, if you like, and if you have, uh, something that you want to talk to me, please feel free to, to, uh, get in touch with me on Twitter or in any other means.
And if you can, please visit my link tree where you can see my physical work and my digital work inside many blockchains, including Singular.
So thank you so much for inviting me here to speak.
I appreciate a lot and see you next space.
Thank you, the philosopher.
And I think, sorry for this, but, uh, blue duck just join and I think you want to make some questions or share something.
I just, uh, just joined this space and, uh, thank you for this space.
And Rina, I was, uh, just admire your work and I'm also dyslexic and, uh, I know how hard is it and love the life and, and a real job.
And thank you for your art and thank you for this space.
And if you, if you like, uh, I follow you also, and I would like to follow you in this group and thank you for the space.
I just want to share just like, like some, uh, just to add some words.
Feel free to send any DM if you need some support.
Back to Bones, Irene, Mikael, last words, something to say.
Yeah, just want to say, um, happy to, to have this occasion to meet some very interesting artists.
Um, I would like to, to collaborate with all of you.
Uh, I think we can, all together, we can create some very cool stuff.
So, uh, I'm quite excited.
I, I really appreciate all, all the words of encouragement from you, Blue.
And, uh, I, I hope that we will now have, um, really nice group and, and space that we can talk about art and how we can develop it to be really great.
Just, uh, uh, have a good evening to everyone for who is in the evening time.
And, uh, and have a good day for who is in another day time.
Thank you so much, Mikael.
Thank you again, everybody, for joining.
And, uh, just last words also, Blue, Blue Duck, if you want also to meet on Singler, feel free to send us a DM and we can support on that.
And any other person that is listening.
Thank you again, everybody, for joining.
Hope you explored this NFC 2.0 on Singler.
Have a great day or night, whatever you are.
