Thank you. Thank you. I'm going to go to the next one. We're still resilient, the base space where the bears and bulls are brilliant. Red days, green days, we're always building.
Market swings, but our faith is on wounds in every depth, every climb, and we stayed resilient.
The base space where the bears and bulls are brilliant.
Hustling hard, analyzing every trend.
Risk and reward, knowing how to blend.
From dust till dawn, we never pretend.
Face junkie, we do TC on us, you depend.
Digits and decimals the language we speak.
Read in the future through eyes and peeks.
Whispers of Wall Street, but our game unique.
Cashing in knowledge what the mind seeks.
Red days, green days.
We're always building market swings.
But our faith is on wealth in every dip, every climb.
And we stay resilient.
The base space where the bears and bulls are blue.
Red base, green base, we're always building.
Mark is swings, but I think there's something built in.
Every dip, every climb, and we stay resilient.
The base space where the bears and bulls are brilliant. awesome Thank you. We'll be right back. Thank you. yo yo yo and welcome to the base space our weekly builder show where we highlight the builders who are here on chain showing up red days, green days.
It doesn't matter if you are building for the long term.
Guys, just as we are getting started, if you could show some love for the speakers that are coming on and for everybody here,
if you could smash the purple pill in the bottom right of the screen uh like
retweet comment let's get elon working for our bags firstly i want to say thank you to elon today
for not rugging our smooth sax intro so guys uh smash the purple pill and retweet if you want to
remove the retweet later that's okay with me but let let your voice
be heard let people know where you are and let's give it up to the builders so without any further
ado let's pass it over to our wonderful co-host as always based utc how are you today good evening I'm doing quite good we had a sunny day here and yeah it was
actually it was a fun day how are you how was your day not quite so sunny I must say you know living
in Portugal we are always spoiled for the weather but now it seems like the rest of europe is rubbing it right in my
face uh wonderful weather everywhere else but it is rainy here uh but hey hey i mean i just i just
came off uh an amazing space with a metacade great great chatting with russ uh i must say it's
actually kind of weird now to be on the uh on the uh presenting side of the equation you yeah i'm loving to like
you know speak to builders hear what they've got going on but it was i was wearing different shoes
today and sharing more about what i've got cooking on but um yeah happy to be here it is it is it's
so weird when you're hosting these things and then you get to be your guest someone and you're eager to take
control or something you're used to taking control and then you have to just sit and wait till the
questions are asked well as well i was with um i was with bill like lena on base who's my co-host
so yeah like he's he's looking to grab the reins as well. And it's like, it's like three hosts having a conversation.
And it's like, it's a tango.
But I just, I'm a gentleman, I'm a British gentleman.
So I just stood back, enjoyed the conversation
from two smarter people.
And I was just like, yeah, this is, I enjoyed listening.
Yeah, they are building some amazing stuff
over there at Medicaid.
I know we had them on the space a while ago.
Yeah, truly an impressive team.
I mean, they just keep rolling out the activations.
I felt so bad, though, because I told Russ beforehand,
like, hey, I've got a hard stop.
I need to be there for the base builder space starting on the hour.
And he's like, okay, it's fine.
You can leave.
And he's like, here's what we're building on Medicaid.
And I'm like, oh, no.
You know, we've been talking about us for like 58 minutes.
And now you get your little two-minute, you know, segment.
And I'm like, yep, not interested.
See you later.
But, no, I am interested.
And I really am a fan of what they're doing.
I think they're doing some really fun tournaments.
And one thing I really love about what they're doing over at Metacade is the fact that they are doing lots of,
providing utility for communities through different tournaments.
So if you haven't checked them out, make sure you do check out MetaCade.
Yeah, it's a really cool game, gamified game concept.
It's way bigger than I've seen before.
Yeah, I mean, Russ has quite a strong background
and I think they even take MetaCade up to like 50 million
market cap.
I mean, right now it's on discount discount but I think most of the market is but yeah I
mean in terms of utilities they're just continuing to roll out and just a
partner up with different communities yes speaking of utility well maybe not
utility but I got to pick up something really cool for my project today
i didn't know i i i did have you posted it on twitter uh i think i have i think i made a video
okay well uh make sure you pin that up to the top uh in fact i'll look for the pin while i'm looking for that do you want to tell everyone what the big update is for you
While I'm looking for that, do you want to tell everyone what the big update is for you?
Well, it's really cool because in my project, which is at the NARCAD,
we have two really nice gifts that Dan, our artist, made with the cat riding in a little red car.
And I may have bought a car that's really resembled the Ed car.
And I may have ordered some big magnets with Ed's logo and put them on the car.
So we have the Edmobile right now.
So just trying to see how we can use that as a utility.
Maybe I can drive to some of our holders, but maybe we can tokenize it with Marcos.
But it's really cool.
And it resembles the gifts exactly.
So for me, it's just really fun to have it at home
and drive around in it.
Yo, I just pinned it to the top.
It's special, it's unique.
Yeah, and it's so cool when you have real things
in the real world attached to a project,
because we sometimes forget being in this digital space
and people with PFPs and stuff
that were actually human beings that bought that,
that are inspired by a token
or that really love the narrative
or that really have good feelings
about the main character. And we live in the real world and it's cool when stuff bridges over because
then you get remembered of, oh yeah, it's real. It's not just on my laptop. It's in the real world too.
Yeah, I absolutely love that. And in in fact that was one of the one of the the topics
on the the spaces i was just on how like this this cycle of like nfts and meme like culture
there's really been a stronger push for for bridging the gap now now i remember like last
cycle in the 2021 days, Web 3 was quite a
new term. Everyone's like, yeah, build Web 3, build Web 3. We're always moving forward. Yeah,
Web 3.5, Web 3.5. No, I'm building Web 4. And everyone's like, oh, I'm building Web 6. I'm
like, okay, okay. But if retail, if normal, like the normies, like traditional people that aren't in crypto, I'll consider Web2.
I always thought like this whole idea of Web 3.5 is like we go in the wrong way.
We need to be focusing on Web 2.5, you know, bridging the gap.
And I think that is where, you know, Web3 IP in the real world really does that so elegantly.
So, you know, I see we see we got jacobi in the audience
uh with the shredding sassies i mean like that that's a nft nft collection that's doing great
work in terms of you know bridging the gaps with physical physical stuff and then of course what
you're doing with the ed the narkat merch and like actually getting the iconic car from the comics,
it really is a great way to show the Web3 IP in the real world.
Yeah, and for me it's also really cool to be driving around.
I'm actually going to drive a rally with it this month.
Not one of those racing ones, but really old people boring kind of find your way ones but still that's really cool but um
i think i think when you're telling that story just say the first part nothing's old and boring
just just let the world know that you're going rallying in it that's that's bad i'm going to
race it and i'm going to shred it to bits. Or maybe not.
That would be a waste.
But I see another UTC moose just entered space or entered space.
Crypto B, how was your day?
My day was good.
And base junkie, don't worry.
It's been thunderstorming and raining all day here in the US.
So we're right there with you.
I think the Europeans are stealing our limelight.
But friend, a car is amazing.
I love seeing the pics today.
And it's not just a car, too.
I think you're building a whole atmosphere here about how we actually get to things the real world, which I'm super excited about.
And I keep telling you, we'll steal your ideas soon,
and we will.
But, you know,
basically I've seen all the comics
that are coming through.
We've seen the merch.
We've seen, you know,
I know we have some exciting merch coming up too,
but just seeing that bridge that's been built,
kind of, I'll go with Bates Junkies 2.5 idea.
That's been great.
I've seen a lot of people get excited about it.
Obviously I am kind of the quasi-fulfillment house in the US too. So I get to see all the cool merch
and steal some along the way. But it's really cool seeing how excited people are to get
something in real life. Like, hey, I have the token. I have the meme's cool. But now
I have something physical to hold in my hand. So my day's been kind of, it's been good.
It's been raining. It's been fun. but I've also been more excited about all the things you've been working on than anything else. So that's kind
of what I've been doing today, checking out your car and making sure the merch is all set.
Ah, that's so nice. Thank you. But I've been distracted by a dude in a banana suit
all this time.
all this time. Am I the only one?
Am I the only one?
No, he's got to talk.
Plus, he doesn't have a website.
When you go to his account, it's coming soon.
So he's mysterious.
A mysterious banana.
I would love to hear from him too.
Yo, Biffy, you are the most punctual guest
and the best dressed rocking Rocking the banana suit.
Welcome to the stage.
How are you today?
I'm so happy, man.
Thanks for having me out, bro.
I've been enjoying the conversation for a while, man.
Generally, buddy.
I'm doing busy.
Generally, I want to listen to the station.
Thanks for having me.
Yeah, that's it.
I'm just coming'm just i'm
just going back i just uh i got like seven hour drive just to go back
well i just love doing my space man thanks for having me bro
well thank you for coming um if you are i so lumpy says that you have a website coming up but by the way just in
terms of your microphone is there like a is it like under a pile of clothes or
something it's a little bit muffle right can you hear me now I'm sorry I was I
was at my airport I was sound like tired ofidy on my place. I was on my airport, man.
Come on, I'm good.
I'm good now.
Yeah, and back to what you said about the website.
Yeah, so we are creating a marketplace, right, where you can launch your NFT and your reward
And that's not the only thing.
Our marketplace is going to be so cool, right?
We're also integrating an AI prediction
too that will help predict the market for NFC and reward assets too and another
thing is the fee is gonna be little to nothing like you don't have to worry
about the fee right and we would love to collaborate with a lot of NFC project
love gaming project right we almost done collaborating with weeping pleb if you
guys know what we can play this it's a it's a game, it's a game-fired project
on base. So,
we're going to collaborate with them,
launching, using our platform to
trade their in-game assets.
You know, we're integrating a lot of things.
We are very flexible
and we are trying to build this for
everybody, right? So, we are
building this for builders, for creative.
We, artists, have to strive not worry
about paying about uh worry about paying huge gas fees and stuff like that you know because i've
launched my nft myself and i and and i really and i really um you know there sometimes the tools the
utilities are so limited in so many marketplaces that you just you know you just have to like manage what you have but we are giving you the
access to watch us innovate your work right and currently we haven't launched yet so we are in
the building phase and we are almost done with the utility at this point in time so we'll be
bringing it out very very soon like i said and thanks for man thanks man i just had a dress
well man uh it's your space so i had to i had to put on my banana bro I'm saying oh yeah oh
yeah okay thanks for having me and if you have any question about what we're
building you can drop it I'm right here I do have a question so what's what's so
special about the the biffy platform that makes it so different than everybody else?
You sound super excited about it. So it sounds like there's something that we want to hear about here.
Yeah, for real. Like, I'm very excited about it because, OK, give me a sec.
I think I can. OK, can I can I piece something, John?
Is that loud? Yeah, of course.
All right. All right. Thanks uh okay so our a lot of platforms
don't really uh give you uh access to like uh use ai2 to predict the market but we are building a
platform that we hope people are not really too good into nfc people don't really have a
idea about how to buy and what to open you know we're building ai2 to help predict the market
and we are also making sure that for those minting and trading on our platform you're paying little
to nothing like you're not even like it's more like you're even playing you're not paying anything
because you won't really feel it right for independent artists that really is trying to
push out their work push out um their art you know uh into the platform and we're so worried about
like huge fees because you know i've been an independent artist before and
I've put out my work before and I know how much I pay for it and stuff like that.
So you don't have to worry about that.
You get me?
And also, like I said before, we are very flexible.
If we hit up a project that also wants to work with us and actually have a lot of demands
and so many things, we can actually integrate what they want into our platform, right?
That's how flexible we are.
So, yeah, that's like one of the bullish things.
Because I'm so happy about what we're building.
I'm seeing a lot of returns from people with base affiliate marketing, you know what I'm saying?
So, affiliate badges, you know what I'm saying?
So, it's really motivating for people to actually love what we're doing at this point
so if you're here and you you enjoy what i'm saying probably you like my voice
and you love and you love the i love the sound of what beefy is beauty right now please do well
to give me a follow and do well to stay connected with us come on come in the dm we'd love to talk
with you and stuff like that so yeah thanks for giving the mic man we'll appreciate it and uh yeah next time
i will i will put on this eye bro i'm i will just put on this eye i promise
nah man you're absolutely rocking it with the banana so uh yeah best dress in the room but i
want to say i want to say uh yeah thank you for for the passion and what you're you're building I look forward to I mean make
sure to like you come on come back on the show sometime when you have the
website up and running I would be good to keep tabs and see how you're
progressing sure man thanks I really appreciate it bro like I will always
come up I go in the discussion found on and I'm staying close man I don't I don't want to say it in a very weird way man I'm staying close
all right man love it all right well let's pass it around the room so guys if
you are enjoying the conversation so far make sure you hit that purple pill in
the bottom right and show some love for the builders next up
on the builder stage we have Lev Smaggin welcome to the stage hey what's up guys
GM GM good time it is from West Coast Bass Coast California and Nevada USA
we're building ProAgent on base it is a automated LP manager and it allows you
to turn dust to gold use any token on base and start saving start micro saving
from your timeline so the way it works is you spin a LP manager and then you
tweet hey banker bot send all of my dust or let's say a dollar of dig butt token into USDC arrow pool and
so banker bot converts it into a 50 50 ratio it sends into your LP manager the LP manager takes
it in and deposit and stakes it for you and you see a beautiful receipt says you are LP manager
now so again we're turning dust to gold every
single tip from banker you see now should be converted into reputable pools
such as USDC arrow we built on aerodrome we support aerodrome automated
pools soon coming we will do concentrated pools and uni swap as well
next week we're rolling out official announcement this friday the product
is already working you can see it on pro agent ai i'm gonna put the pin in here there's a demo
everything is great we just went through the contracts with aerodrome team uh hoping to get
an official endorsement and announcement by friday by both base Airdrome. So you heard it here. First, folks, ProAgent is the app.
PA is the ticker.
We are built on ElizaOS, and we're here to give API access to everyone
and every agent in the Bass universe who will have to,
I mean, who wants to use the LP manager.
And we're building in the open.
You can check our contracts.
You'll live. manager and we're building in the open you can check our contracts let's go you're live i must say i'm loving the alpha so guys you heard it here first uh so uh live have you pinned something to the jumbotron yet if not make sure that you do uh this sounds it sounds
like an interesting use of bank bots and one thing that
i love and i'm not a developer but i love that you're building in public and that people can
check it out because at the end of the day safety is priority we've got to keep the community safe
so if you're developing useful tools for people to um benefit from yeah and and it's in public and people can check it out
let's go man, let's go
yeah thank you, I just pinned it
I just put it in the comments
it's from ProAgent and yes, building
in the open is the idea, it's two developers
we're just like one of those
deployers or the clanker developers
we just published our contracts
so that people can go and test them
people can implement them if they want.
But ideally, obviously, it's an ELISA OS plugin that will be wrapped with an API that can be implemented into any agent in any framework.
But yeah, again, you heard it here first, folks.
Where are we going?
We won't need agent interoperability. We will have a decentralized agentic economy of agents of all frameworks interoperating on base.
And what made you think I have to do a project that involves dust?
Well, we actually started with with an intent yeah yeah we actually study with
the solving users intent and the user says let's say if I have any token on base and I want to be
an LP start a liquidity pool how should I do it and our agent solves this intent and so we noticed
that people don't
really use X to like send thousands of dollars to each other, or they won't like open positions
for thousands of dollars. Well, they will do, however, just like Acorns, you know, if you're
familiar with that app, where people like round up the credit card purchases. We don't really use,
you know, Banker or Twitter timeline to purchase
things, but we do use it for sending those little tips in micro transactions. So we thought it would
be a great way to start earning your, you know, start building your little savings with base,
with the reputable players like Airdrome so that those can be funneled into like small piggy bank
and, you know, $5 here, $5 there. your friend sends you a tip and you just add it to your piggy bank and yeah heads up well i actually think it's a really good idea
because we all have dust hands up if you have dust in your wallets yeah thank you and banker can tell
you hey you can actually prompt banker and say hey banker turn Every token below let's say dollar value in my toe in my wallet and send it to LP manager and
Just watch it turn like you know a proven swap 10 trends. I mean 10 tokens in front of you and actually send it so
That's the magic of it. So it will save you hours just doing that and then ProAgent will save you hours in approving
depositing improving depositing, approving, depositing, then depositing into LP, approving again, staking, unstaking.
So you see there's like 15 transactions that we automate for you as well.
Dude, that's huge because when I have a – I stake through Alien Base, all my Alien Base coins.
And I can't tell you how many airdrops and just like random dust of coins I have sitting in my wallet just from staking so like that's gonna be useful for me
Yeah, thank you. Thank you guys. It's one use case
We are again. This is for the users for the agents itself. We are for humans and for agents
so the agents can use these API's and let's say if you have a
you have a NPC character in your video game in your building and you know this NPC wants to
NPC character in your video game in your building and you know
launch a clank and it just launches a clank and you have a token and then there's a liquidity pool
that comes with it so you can stack all three let's say pro agent clanker and banker and have
the entire suite of depositing swapping and LP rewards for your video game character. Or you can use it as an ATM
in the video game that you're creating.
So it's both for humans and for agents.
So all join us.
We're building in the open.
So soon you'll be able to,
I'm not saying like soon as in like in a month.
I'm saying like within like week, within days.
That's why.
Yeah, super excited.
I love it, man. I love it. I think I pinned it to the top. The pinned posts aren't showing for me. Fran, can you see any pinned posts apart from the Ed one?
I can see them.
Yeah, because sadly I'm looking at my own face all the time.
Well, think how we feel.
Yeah, so we, yeah, this is the
Sorry guys, I'm going to do the last
plug. It's basically, it's called
the no-click LP campaign,
where you can just basically start LP from your timeline.
And that's what we're going to go to market with.
But yeah, that's basically, you know, just a slogan.
Hands-free LP, no click LP, LP with me, micro LP.
Just LP, you know, with ProAgent.
Catchy slogan, man.
I thought you were starting to rap there i was like
yo i'm i'm digging it uh and if you do if you are if you are a rapper if you are one for for music
make sure you tune in to uh the friday nights base udc telegram uh for some uh some karaoke
for some karaoke.
Or a music quiz.
Well, we end up singing.
That's the thing.
Or if you want to rap about LPs,
I'm sure there could be a little interlude for that.
Yeah, just a candy rapper with four bars.
Call me Kit Kat.
Yeah, more like two mile.
More like two. mile yeah all right well let's uh let's keep this party going first of all i want to give a
shout out to a few chads in the audience i see we got we got rachel on chain who has been
absolutely crushing it this year um super proud of her i actually have a show with her. Late in the week, Let's Fucking Build.
Yeah, always a big fan of her.
Top Builder.
I also see Coco Codes.
So, Spiral, Captain, Marcos, Doodle on Base Driven.
Man, we've got so many heavy hitters today.
Disciple, Wingo.
I see some of the Base bobas showing up in force area von guys
love it loving the turnout today love it and remember a gist whoa i almost missed just just
the man oh always bringing the vibes and spiral we actually have a collab with spirals collection
it's actually in in the comments so guys remember these are open
open builder spaces and of course towns uh i haven't actually looked too deep into town i i
checked it out briefly i was like oh man i'm loving what i'm seeing but towns if you want to come up
up to the stage i would love for you to share what uh about the platform that you are building
uh but yeah let's keep this party going and let's
pass the mic over to silky welcome to the stage yo how's it going man good talking to you again
yeah man it's been a minute dude i must say you keep planning those dom spaces at the
like two in the morning dude i know and it sucks because You and a couple other of my homies who I've been
Really connecting with lately they're on different
Time schedules and just like
It's like it's weird because
So for Dom he lives in Oregon
In the USA so he's two hours
Behind me so for him
It's like 630 for me it's 830
For you it's like 230 in the morning
For my other homies like 1 in the morning
Everywhere man but what's cool about that is we do record our spaces too so
yeah i could always catch it catch you later but um tell us what what have you got cooking
over at the doms i mean i see i see that you're always active and uh like active with the
collaborations and of course he's uh making his
music but um yeah man what's what's popping yeah so a cool thing that we got going on for doms is
we just finished up our first partnership or half of our partnership with decentral bros um we're
bringing a lot of music utilities on the base through decentral bros's platform so what we did
was we set up the nft uh so basically you
wrap your nft and d bro tokens and that'll give you access to the future music store that we're
gonna be having through on the decentral bros platform and then having you know our dom's nft
wrapped with d bros tokens will give you access to other merchandise and discounts as well so we
just got that side finished up and we're also working on our staking platform
so we're going to also be doing our staking through the dbros and it's going to be 30
for the year apy so i'm really excited about that it's going to give our holders more chances to
earn some rewards just by holding our tokens and as far as more collaborations go so we are still
in the minting stage there's 8888 doms we're right at 5100
and to spice things up a little bit we kind of thought of you know why don't we why don't we
replace some doms with some collaborations so we kind of did some digging around for a couple months
and uh we got mr miggles is going to be on the one-on-one collabs we've got glue net and what's
cool about glue net is we don't have a gif dom but glue net collab is going to be the only gif dom within the minting process that
you can get as well um no punks we're doing a collaboration with no punks the notorious pocket
cows toro and all them uh base knock amigos and then dragon punks nft is another um another nft artist that we're working with and
they're on the abstract chain so i've been we've been trying to hone in our collaborations and just
trying to um also bring people up with us as well and just you know i'm really excited about these
collaborations honestly because i didn't really think that don was gonna want to do that but now
that we're doing it it's just making things way more exciting because we're getting some other
artists in here and getting some more recognition
and just building all together you know what i mean
100 and building together is is more fun and you know i'm saying it i think i sound like a broken
record i think i said it three times on on the medicaid spaces before this but yeah a rising
tide raises all ships.
And we are stronger together.
So I think it's definitely a good way to push the collaborations.
I'll slide into your DMs
and see if we can get one more collab going over there.
But we can do that.
I was just about to bring that up.
So like, because we had a little teaser yesterday
in the team chat.
He said that he would want to do another one and i instantly thought about you and i wanted to ask
you like a week ago but i know you guys aren't close to releasing yet so i didn't want to like
you know have you guys have released one with us before you guys even started your
minting stage yet so there's always gonna be room for collaborations on our end with you homie
i appreciate that man uh and you, that's one thing I love about
base and this cycle is that,
you know, it's not a
you, your project
versus my project. It's a, hey, guys,
let's grow the...
When let's not split this grape, let's
grow this into a watermelon and let's just grow it together.
let's talk off it about a
potential collab because I would love to see.
I'm a big fan of what you guys are doing over at Dom's.
I would love to see a topi in the mix.
But, hey, man, we are actually closer to launch than you may think.
We are intensively launching next Tuesday.
Just finally.
Yeah, that's perfect because I got some play money now.
Now that my bills and shit are taken care of.
So the fact that I have noticed now,
I'm going to save some for the side for you, bro.
Okay, brother.
Yeah, well, I think we have one or two more calls
just to dot the final I's, cross the final T's,
and just make sure this thing goes off without a cinch.
Yeah, it's been a long time brewing
under the surface uh probably first concept art was maybe seven months ago so it's uh we definitely
want to we want it to go off with a bang and uh yeah man bullish that is finally around the corner
i was about to say dude you guys got a solid support system You've been working your freaking asses off dude. I mean even even since I just met you not long ago
You've been getting a lot of traction lately
And so I'm really proud of what you guys got going on and it seems like you guys got your foot in the right places
Thank you brother. I think you know, I think that
To say to anybody in in the audience who is, you know, building and feeling like frustrated that frustrated that you're not getting the visibility like these things don't happen like linearly.
Like it doesn't happen just. But what you need to remember is like consistency is everything.
You know, like I wasn't seeing huge results in my channel's growth or my viewership or any of that stuff when I was doing it a bit ad hoc.
In the very beginning, I was doing spaces every single day and I was connecting and meeting a bunch of founders.
Even when I had like 20 followers, 30 followers, it just takes time.
Just consistency is everything.
And then one day you'll start to get picked up by all the people who start
adding you to to base lists people say okay this guy is is providing insights this guy is using
dunes analytics or this person is specializing in this particular thing i don't have the time to
keep up to date with all all that stuff let me follow them and tune in to hear their insights so you know focus on what
you're best at you know sharpen that sharpen that tool and be consistent and be loud you know and
also uh we had we on on monday we had the the first uh the base nft show uh you know uh supported
by the base team and we actually had one of the guys from base on the panel and we got to ask
him questions. And one of the questions was, you know, for,
for the builders who are looking to get exposure,
what's the best way to, to, to raise your profile and get noticed.
And he said, you know,
tag the base account to add base in your tweets, in the relevant tweets, that is.
You don't want to to whitewash all your tweets with just like, you know, you want to really pick out the nuggets, find the polished ones, find the find the gems and tag base so they can see that.
And then just keep being loud, keep being public.
And then just keep being loud, keep being public.
Building in public is absolutely the way to show that you are being consistent.
And that's how you will get noticed.
Dude, absolutely. I kind of had the same ish.
I mean, I'm not blown up by any means, but I have 800 followers now.
But I remember not even a couple of months ago, dude, even while in DOMS before I was officially on the team,
I was I only had maybe 50 or 70
followers and then once i got picked up by crypto stoner and big man in their spaces
i went from like 70 followers and i think a couple days to 300 and then i did once i got
more active in the base communities and started doing like giveaways for doms i shot all up to
800 in no time so yeah it's very possible guys like if you're a smaller account like i was or even am or still a small account your time's coming just be
consistent make sure you're connecting with the right people and make sure you have a good
intention as well i mean if you have the intention just to go out there and get a shit ton of
followers i mean you're gonna kind of attract the wrong type of followers you gotta kind of
pinpoint what you're best at like he said and and really build off that like for me i have a background in the music industry and the and like having a production company and
bringing people together so i kind of utilize me bringing people together in real life and
and i'm starting to do that here on x now so that's that's kind of my strong suit and i guess
is getting to know people and understanding where they're coming from and what they're building
is a strong suit of mine because I'm just passionate about everything I do
and just all these projects that are going on.
So find something you're good at, stick with it, and be consistent.
I promise you guys will see results.
Absolutely.
And people can sniff the bullshit.
So be authentic.
And I love that.
Dom's has the music connection connection you have the music connection you found your tribe and you you're being authentic
about it and i think i think that really shows yeah i appreciate that and like even we struggled
with doms a little bit when i first got in um you know we're always still building new family and
bringing new people along the way but sometimes know, especially when the market's bad, sometimes it's not hard to get down on yourself when things are bad,
but if you can look past that and just stay positive and consistent,
even when things are down,
you guys got such a head start and everything.
I promise.
And I think,
working together,
building together and vibing over things that are more than just the charts,
you know, vibing about the culture, what you're what you're you're doing the movement or just finding your friends
You know, I think that that makes the the red days
That much more tolerable and it keeps you guys moving forward
Absolutely, dude
Once I stopped worrying about the chart life got a lot easier
But I honestly haven't looked at the dom's chart in like three or four days. I'm just not worried about it
You know what i mean so once i kind of got rid of that aspect in the back of my
head and more and focus on just getting new family members within the community everything started
becoming a lot easier for me yeah that was what i was going to say just don't look at the charts
it's really easy just don't look at it and you won't know what's going on. And if you got something you believe in, then just keep on building because that will keep you going.
But just one last question before we move on.
If I remember it correctly, in the Dom's collection, there already were collabs with other real life artists, right?
So he's done collaborations with Miggles before,
but it wasn't on the Dom's collection.
It was like a separate collaboration thing.
So no, Dom so far, the minting,
or all the Doms have been all him lately.
So there's 650 of the Doms were hand-drawn,
and then 350 of them, of the raresres have original music attached to it that he made
personally so yeah this is the first time we've ever had any type of collaboration within his
project in the collection itself uh okay then i get what you said that he was a bit anxious to
do some collaborations because i can understand foreign artists it's being vulnerable
if you let other people also work with what you've created but i see someone with his hand up for a
while um emmanuel coco codes the man the myth welcome to the stage
Welcome to the stage.
Okay, let me know.
Now we got you loud and clear.
I was glitching.
Anyways, I'm excited to be on the space with base donkey yo i've been always bullish on you man
and so excited to be on this uh this space you have created this atmosphere and this uh
home you have created on your space so it takes it takes it takes uh positive vibes it takes being optimistic it takes being original to
uh with the space and people like feel comfortable and uh kind of like just feel the vibe so kudos
to you base junkie and uh everyone else working with you yeah uh so my name is emmanuel
name is Emmanuel for planning as Coco codes on the TL basically I am I am very energetic and I'm so
passionate about building a family right so I don't call it community anymore I'm so passionate about
building a family real humans real human connection group of people that want to get better group of people that wants to go higher group of people
that believe in this group of people that believe in the new internet and what it's uh promised for
us that are tired of the old system of things and believe that they deserve much more for their
creativity this is the movement this is what I'm all about right from on change
summer watch for munching summer I've always been bullish on the mission of
increasing innovation creativity and freedom especially the word freedom
because to be honest things are not easy in Africa like things are really really
hard in Africa like a lot of times people do not know what to to use people don't even know what to do with
themselves people don't people don't even know how to give value people don't even know how to
communicate so it's so hard and they even have twitter account and you like see them on the
tiers and like and they are like please can you help me with money to buy food or please can you
help me with this or please can you help me with this it's so hard for people and i i could relate because
there was a point in my life that's a piece of backstory i'll soon be done there was a point in
my life where i was still grinding i'm still grinding in the trenches by the way i was still
grinding uh participating in hackathons bounties but the funny thing is that most of them i wouldn't
win so okay as i'm not winning now how
do i survive for the rest of the month it's not easy so it's hard sometimes i don't like like
i figure out what i'm going to eat for the next day so it's kind of it was kind of hard so i could
relate like some people are passing through that experience but i ended up joining a team called
looting on the solana ecosystem and basically what they do was that
they kind of like are focused on new people coming into the space newbies coming to the space
and they also focus on how they could train you boost your skills show you how to communicate
with projects show you how to give value to projects show you how to be a better mod show
you how to be better tg uh twitter reader show you how to post and build quality for yourself.
And that's the movement I'm trying to build on base
because I believe it's highly needed.
I believe that a lot of people
do know how to communicate value.
A lot of people do know how to utilize their skills on base.
There are different people coming to base.
There are reply guys, there are mods,
different people, NFT guys
that do not have
any opportunity yet so i'm creating this movement creating this network creating this talent pool
so that it should be useful it should be very very useful to project on base early project on
this new project on this new project launching that probably like need uh assistance with building
of that community mods or whatever it is uh need assistance with uh
getting the vibe getting the family in the in the in the vibe building the community real people not
bought so this is the movement uh i i started this is what i'm doing and i believe it's going to
create a lot of opportunity for a lot of creators a lot of newbies a lot of normies uh and through
our platform we will make onboarding we are changing entirely how people
are coming on chain we are changing it entirely and we're trying to make marketing very great
right for me in africa everybody will do their parts so this is me doing my parts on our platform
we'll onboard people you get started as a djn or you get started as a creator or builder and we
streamline your onboarding process we are streamlining it for you we'll streamline your onboarding process. We are streamlining it for you. We'll streamline your onboarding process.
Any project or any on-chain project that is joining the network,
they will be on the platform too.
Literally, every newbie coming on-chain,
every person coming on-chain,
because, of course, I'll be guiding.
I've always been guiding.
They are basically going to be working with those projects on the platform,
learning about these projects,
learning how to give value to those projects.
More like an incubator.
This is what I'm building. This is the movement I'm building. I launched my token, A&B. It's my baby. It's our baby. And I'm going to ensure
that she keeps on growing. And I'm going to ensure that we create a network that is well
sorted after when it comes to Africa.
So I'll hop in because this kind of hits close to home in the lumpy group.
So I do ask some questions.
You say you're building family and it's kind of what we're trying to do in a lumpy group
It's kind of why we started it.
And a large portion of our group is a lot of the others like Bayes Junkie or Bayes ETC
can tell you.
A large portion of the community is from Nigeria and from Africa.
We've got some Rwandans in there, some South Africans as well.
And we've been kind of trying to build the same thing.
We've been trying to build a community.
We've been trying to help and educate.
We've, you know, played games, do a little bit of everything.
We're obviously not creating a company like you are where you're training people.
But we're also, you know, Marco, as I'll call you out, even if you're not a speaker
today, we're also looking to kind of build things out and help. And we don't know where to start.
I think we've had a lot of conversations and want to help the community. Obviously,
we've made sure that we have a friendly community. It's accepting. And there are a lot of groups you
go into where the Nigerian community specifically is not really accepted that easily because of all the backgrounds and everything
you hear about it but we have some great people and we love our community you want to keep growing
it but we also want to help the community um mark it's it's i don't want to steal marco's idea he's
always wanted to do this he kind of brought some ideas back a couple weeks ago i know fran from
base utc's been wanting to do this as well.
But we're also going to do it in a way that's manageable. So I'd love to hear from you to see sort of just, yes, we're training somebody to be a Raider or a community mod or things like that.
In real life, how do we, how do you see either what you're doing or what we can be doing as a team
to help the communities of the, you know, anywhere? It doesn't have to be Nigeria,
it doesn't have to be Africa, it could be anywhere and what are you doing from a community perspective do you have
any suggestions yeah um so absolutely i think i'm so happy and you say that you're building
something in that direction also so from my own aspect it's also like coming from a place of
experience because um as i believe as i like say, we all had to start from somewhere.
Everybody started from somewhere.
All of us being here right now, we didn't start from here.
We started from somewhere.
Me, I started from somewhere being a mod, being a Twitter reader, learning it.
I got promoted in the team to a senior team manager.
And then I expanded.
I come into the base ecosystem.
And I now knew how to give value.
I now knew how to communicate,
get Jesse Pollack attention,
get base's attention,
get the big, big people on base's attention.
I started from somewhere.
I started learning these skills.
People do not have these skills.
People do not know this.
People don't know how to give value.
And this is the process I'm trying to build out with AMB.
So the process is quite strategic and uh it's going to
like change how people are coming on chain entirely and also streamline how marketing can be done for
the different on-chain apps on base because i've noticed that a lot of on-chain projects coming to
base they are not being seen they are not being prioritized as they should be prioritized i think
like i feel like most focus are just being focused on big, big
projects on base, which is not right.
It has to be equal. It has to literally
be equal. And if
it's not going to be equal, I'm going to make it equal
in my own way. I'm going to focus on
all the projects literally coming on base.
Building the community up for them.
Ensuring that we have
the talent ready. Any
services, anything that they need, we provide
it for them. Ensuring that
they have access to my energy.
That's one of my unique power.
They have access to my energy
for spaces and AMEs.
So from our platform,
from our platform, we are streamlining
this process. When you get started,
you get started as a DGEN or you get started
as a creator slash builder. We also have some guides like tutorials can i can i interrupt sorry yeah
um i think uh you're not answering uh lamp's question because he
criptovi can you repeat your question oh you're i was trying to be nice and let him finish, but thank you.
He was going to repeat himself, so I had to do something.
Oh, I'm sorry about that.
I'm so passionate.
Yeah, so my question is, and these are a lot of the conversations we have here in this
space specifically.
It's about builders, but it's also about people.
So what is the real world impact?
How do we get the real world impact to our
community members? Maybe they don't want to be raiders. They don't want to be part of the team.
They don't want to kind of go through this whole process. They're not interested in that type of
space. But like I said, we're talking to Marcos, we're talking to Bates UTC, we're talking to a
bunch of other people that, and we're not talking about charity or just giving out money. It's how
do we make an impact in the communities? Where do you see what you're doing making an impact in the community
forget crypto forget jobs forget anything else is how do we all get together and make a really big
impact when especially you you have boots on the ground you're from there we're not we don't know
we don't know that anything around there and we want to learn and we also want to help the right
way how do you see yourself what you're doing. And we also want to help the right way.
How do you see yourself, what you're doing or what we can do to help in the communities that you're focused on?
Yeah. So the basic, for that reason, I think the way I see it happening, like scaling for like reward impacts for other regions, Like basically this is a platform that different communities
can also come together because trying to like build
a global talent pool also with this movement.
So different communities have their own people,
have their people that they know and they trust
that are good at whatever they are good at.
So creating that space whereby different communities can come together
and work together in in the sense that let's say like uh some project on base or or anyone like
probably like need some kind of talent or need something any community could vouch for their own
member from the community to fill their role and it could just like happen seamlessly right plus
the fact that this is a platform that um this is a platform that anybody could just like use,
even though like you're not interested
in being a mod or whatever.
It's kind of a platform that helps streamline
how you come on chain.
Like it helps streamline how you come on chain.
And if you think about it,
communities coming together and working together,
I think that should create that kind of space
for more massive impact.
Got it. So really just kind of by them getting jobs and then being able to
get educated, kind of spread out. Okay. I mean, that's a good start. I think we're looking for
something a little bit different in our approach where we're trying to see actually how we can
impact the community a little more directly without having
all joined in the same company or the same process.
But I think what you're doing is amazing.
I think it'll make a huge impact.
And the other thing I really like
is that when you first said Bass Junkies name,
I thought you said Bass Donkey.
So that's going to stick going forward.
so bass donkey you are up
So Bass Donkey, you are up.
oh man to be honest you know like when i when i chose the moniker bass junkie
you know i was like yeah this is to let everyone know i'm passionate about bass
you know i'm like um i'm a baseline junkie like i'm based i'm
based and then like everyone keeps like like shorting it to junkie I'm like no like
I'm not a junkie like I don't look at a drug problem so maybe maybe donkey is
actually better than junkie and we also learned the other way you can make it
shorter but that didn't help either yeah so, literally in order of preference, it's like bass junkie and then a big gap and then everything else, you also hear bass donkey?
So if we both heard it, it must be true.
So I see we have one more speaker and we have three minutes.
So let's make this a quick one.
So I think that was a friend's charming way of saying, hey, welcome Wingo to the stage.
Yo, what's up, guys?
Do you guys hear me?
Loud and clear, man.
Cool, cool.
It's very, thanks for the opportunity to speak, guys.
I do see Bass base junkie everywhere.
I never joined one of his space yet. I mean, I have joined one of his space, but I never,
I never got a chance to speak on one of his spaces. So really appreciate the opportunity.
So, you know, one of the things I guess I'll just get right into it, you know, uh, you've got three
minutes. So this is kind of like a speed run. I've been part of
BASE since the inception. I've been part of Toshi community since the very beginning.
So it's very cool to see how BASE grew to how it is now. There's so many new communities,
so many new people. It's very interesting to see everybody talk and hear the story. So
kudos to everybody here that's building on base for the greater good, right? So for us here, I'm building a platform with a team, a gaming platform where communities
compete and they connect through gaming and on-chain avatars. So it'd be very cool if I can
get a Topi avatar built avatar on-chain on the platform if you guys want if you guys want to compete in the
tournament that's coming up in June but yeah we're releasing some speedrun games some you know
bombing games not in that sense but you know like you gotta dodge the bombs and stuff so
it's gonna be a very fun time and if you guys want to join, if you're an NFT community, meme community,
you guys want to join the 10 plus communities that we have onboarded so far,
feel free to join.
It's going to start at a decent price pool.
And every mint that we get will be contributed to growing the price pool.
So let me know if you guys have any questions on how things work.
I was kind of zoned out listening to everyone talk here,
so got put on the dial real quick there.
So Wingo, tell us a little more about your platform.
Is this like a TG platform?
Is it a web platform?
How does everybody play?
How do we compete?
Like we do games every week in the lumpy group, and we love to compete we're going to be talking to medicaid soon to see if we can join
them um so kind of what how does it work like if we have a sat we usually do like game saturdays
that's something you do in your platform like how does that work yeah right now we have a beta uh
open uh that you guys can actually try if you want but it's uh the competition is a leaderboard
game and it's a pixel platform so the way it works is that you just join with
well we're going to be releasing something called shadow it's an on-chain avatar and what's going
to happen is we're creating potions for every IP community that we onboard.
And if you want to take the potion, you transform into an avatar of your IP.
The potion revenue will be shared between the creators, mainly the creators themselves.
And pretty much every week we're going to have...
...going to be collecting points based off your leaderboard position.
And it's going to go into this one giant leaderboard.
And whatever place that you land is whatever prize that you get.
So it's going to be a lot of fun.
You can give it a try.
The game is pretty hard.
I heard a lot of people have Rage Quaid a couple times.
It's based off speed running.
So the idea is that you've got to complete the level as quick as possible uh there are other game modes for week two week three it is still based off
the idea of how quick you can complete the levels uh but yeah that's pretty much the gist of it
we had done an mvp mode in 2022 on the theorem side when when the NFT craze was a little bit crazy.
And we gave away about $20,000 a liter board.
And we had some crazy speed runners.
Like I'm talking about like three minutes nonstop
without dying, like beating 30 levels at once.
If you're into stuff like that,
hit me up.
I think Elon got him.
He got him at the end.
Or he really took the three minutes really seriously.
I mean, so Wingo has the speedrunner competition.
I'd definitely be hitting him up about that. But, yeah, he absolutely did a great speed run through that introduction.
So, yeah, shout out to Wingos.
But, hey, I know we just passed the one-hour mark,
but I saw we got one more speaker on the stage.
And if we can have another three-minute speed run,
I just want to say hello to my friend, oh, Captain, my Captain.
Yo, yo, what's up?
Sorry, Elon's been rugging me harder
than a 2021 NFT project.
So I don't want to take up a lot of time.
I actually just wanted to come up here
to show love and kind of help the algorithm out.
So if you guys are closing down, no worries.
I want to be respectful of that.
But it's always a pleasure to, you know,
just hear you guys on space
and we'll hear you guys on space and uh
we'll hear you guys and gals rather um and just support the community i love to see it
we love we love to have you man um dude uh we didn't really have time to get into it about the
uh about the shadow Shadow Souls last time.
I'm sure Fran will forgive us if we just touch on that,
but it's something that's upcoming.
Can you share it with the group?
Yeah, absolutely.
So Shadow Souls in itself is the next iteration,
the next story activation from the Save Souls IP,
more or less to keep it as like a TLDR,
it's essentially Pokemon Colosseum on-chain.
With our IP, we have five different Shadow Souls
that we've released initially,
so like a collectible card edition.
Each different evolution, or each different card,
will have three different evolutions to it,
very similar to Pokemon,
so like a Charmander, Char charmeleon charizard type of effect
um it's very very reminiscent so our whole ethos is nostalgia with a twist creating something very
very simple easy to use and something uh that is very recognizable subconsciously um that'll be
coming up here in the next month or two we'll have the pre-alpha version of that coming out and then
we're just going to continue to expand upon it so the coliseum battler will be a first uh you have three different modes you can
play as you can just have fun and do like practice rounds or practice battles you can wager in-game
currency as we'll be building an in-game economy with rare cosmetics skins and so on and so forth
and then you'll be able to wager eth as well and we'll be doing it through uh coinbase smart pay so
completely abstractionless and just making it as frictionless as possible.
So it's going to be a super smooth experience, and we're looking forward to inviting everyone on board as soon as it's ready.
But yeah, we'll be releasing some more sneak peeks as we go.
I think we have a new one coming out during the next day or two.
So yeah, just stay tuned.
very juicy well what a what a great great uh cherry on top of a uh a wonderful spaces
Very juicy.
hearing from different builders building in different sectors nfts defies community building
music it is it's all popping off here on base now guys we do host these spaces every wednesday night i think we next week we might
be pushing it one hour earlier uh i'm going to talk to the different to the co-hosts and just
see about the time but yeah we just had the clocks change and it's a little late for our beloved uh
friend behind the the base udc account so let's uh let's accommodate builders around the world because as you can hear
from emmanuel and everyone like base is global and we have builders across across the across the
world across the chain so guys i want to say lastly thank you to everybody who tuned in today
thank you to everybody who retweeted if you enjoyed this make sure you follow the speakers everybody is building actively try and
supporting each other here on base we do this every week so make sure to tune in for the next
one if you are building or supporting a project let the project that you want to have some
spotlights come up we don't want to hear the hundreds show at 100x chills we want to hear
and have the real conversations with the real builders so much love to the community until
next time stay safe stay healthy but most importantly stay based peace out everyone see you later homie Thank you.
