Hi guys, we're just setting up right now, so just give us a few minutes while we invite some more guests.
How you doing Ed? You excited about the news today? It seems like it's a, you've made a lot of posts about it so. Yeah, super exciting, right? Super exciting. It's interesting on how these two things happen at the same time.
I mean literally what a half hour apart. Yeah it really is like do you think there was any coordination or did one company find out that something was going down and say oh this would be a good time would give us
put more less attention on us. Oh, I think this was the perfect time for Don Le Mans. I mean, there couldn't be... Is it Don Le Mans or Don Le Mans? Because Dr. Carlson always used to say Don Le Mans, but I'm not sure if it was because they were making fun of them or...
Sorry, somebody texted me yelling at me. But anyway, yeah, I think it's Great time for Don LeMond the fact that people care a lot less about I mean if you imagine he got fired on Friday or something, you know, or Thursday last week,
I'm just letting you know. Yeah, that would be kind of funny if he was fired and then Tucker Carlson talked about it and then Tucker left. What do you think? Do you think Tucker was fired too?
No, you don't believe so. Absolutely not. No, I wouldn't believe that for a second. Um, just over the fact especially that highest rated anchor, he didn't have sexual assault allegations. I know that seems to be how
the biggest anchors get kicked out usually that's happened a couple of times in Fox and if you remember Bill O'Reilly that's why he got blooded he had the top rated show at the time. I believe it had to do with and I did tweet about this actually that
I think that after the Dominion settlement that CNN had, they tried to take full editorial control, or at least more editorial control over Tucker Carlson. Because Tucker Carlson always had freedom to put whatever
content he wanted on there, whatever commentary he wanted, and nobody was really vetoing him on anything. So I believe that it came down to the fact that they were going to try to take some of that freedom away from him.
Nick, like he was one of the only ones that actually had created control on his contract. He expertly negotiated that years ago. And I think it's 100% a knee jerk reaction to the lawsuit saying we can't have people out here with creative control. And I think that that was a big piece of it.
But it was in his contract wouldn't they have to wait until that contract expired or fired? Well, they've been doing contract negotiations the same thing would happen with Dan Bonjino last week. I'm imagining that was the same conversation. Yeah, what I'm saying is so
you're saying Tucker had this contract that basically gave him control to say what he wants unless that contract was coming to an end, why would he part ways, wouldn't he still have that ability to have just as much control until that comes?
My sources are telling me I talked to two people who text to him in a modern regular basis. They couldn't get a hold of him, but they talked to his producers or at least they texted back and forth. I think it absolutely the one confirmed thing I had is that it had to do with the text messages of the
lawsuit. I'm guessing from the other conversations I've gotten confirmed this weird that way that it had to do with him wanting to clear the air, maybe put his name in the right light. I was confused myself as to how DP was
