T-M-G-M. Hello. Can you hear me well?
Yay. Hello, everybody, and welcome to our Building on Polygon Twitter space. This round is really all
about the Biddle on Polygon Village round that we've got hosted right now on Giveth. It's an opportunity
for projects to share the spotlight and talk about the work that they're doing and try to write some
funds, and it's also an opportunity to just kind of talk about some of the details of the round.
We've got Grendel up here on stage. I think behind the polygon icon, is that true? Are you with me here?
Liz is Smoky. Oh, hey, how's it going? Thanks for joining, Smoky. I'm so glad that you're here too.
Yeah, I think Grendel's in the audience, but if you want to give him an invite.
Yeah, I think Amun can do that. She's here behind the Giveth icon hosting. So once we get him up
on stage, yeah, we got him up on stage. Great. We're tracking. Hey, Grendel, how's it going?
Hey, Lauren. Well, everything is fine. Thank you. I hope everyone of you is okay,
and thank you for having us.
Awesome. Okay, so I think we can kind of just get started here. I'll just introduce myself and kind
of pass the mic around here to the speakers, and then we can just talk about some details and then
start getting projects up on the stage. So also, if you're a project and you're listening in the
audience, you can start requesting the mic a little while later. We'll probably talk for like
15 or 20 minutes just about the round, and then we'll be passing the mic to projects that are in
the round on a first-come-first-serve basis. And hot tip, pro tip, if you can put the name of your
project in your Twitter handle or join from the official Twitter handle of your project, it'll
really help us in order to get the right people on the stage at the right time. So anyway,
without further ado, I'm Lauren. I work with Giveth, and I'm helping to manage and operate this QF
round. And yeah, I'm really just here to just kind of share the mic and chat with some of the
projects up here. So I'll just pass the mic over to you, Grendel, to introduce yourself.
Well, I'm Marco Grendel. I go with Grendel, and very happy to be here again. And well,
I take care of Polygon Village. We are running the grants, the build on Polygon Grant,
and I hope that we'll be able to listen to all the projects that we'd like to talk about
there. They are a proposal today, and very excited to give everyone the chance to be,
well, in front of the community in discussing what they're building.
Amazing. Yeah, and do you want to talk a little bit more about the intentions of Polygon Village
and the purposes of this grant? Oh, yeah, of course. Well, Polygon Village was announced
back in November, and where Polygon committed 110 million MATIC over time to be distributed
for ecosystem support. What we are running now is just the first part of this amazing and
very big support program that will go on for the next month. We wanted to start with something
that was very community, something that we never did before. So we decided to go on with two
quadratic funding grants. One, it was very community, very open to everyone that was
building in a community, and he's building on a community, meaning project, but also
creators. And regardless, their development stage, regardless of what they were building,
the use case, et cetera. We wanted to offer this, you know, it's an opportunity,
but it's also a learning opportunity of some sort, because through QF, you're forced to understand
how Web Free works. You need to learn to use new apps and new platforms. You need to
teach what you're doing to many people and get new community. It's a validation that you can get
from the community that is reading your proposal and deciding if they want to vote for you,
donate to you. It's like, you know, it's not just a poll. It's something more than this,
is establishing from the community side who are the best project that could shape in the future
the ecosystem. And this is what we wanted to offer as an experience to everyone. But next time,
we will have more rounds. Maybe the criteria will be a little bit more stringent. But our will is
always to be able over time to offer support to everyone that is building on polling. And it is
what this is, what Village is. Village is not just the financial support, because we're going
to launch very soon new programs like the voucher program, the mentor program, the master classes,
the workshops and many more. So it's a collection of many ways on how projects can grow over time,
learning, listening, networking, receiving support of many different sorts, etc. So this is what
Village is. And this is how Village will grow over time. I love it. I really think I love what you
said also about quadratic funding rounds being an opportunity for projects also to onboard their
donor base and to teach and educate about Web3. Actually, my very first touch point with Web3
personally was also donating a quadratic funding round to give us. And then from there,
I dove down the deep rabbit hole and I'm running these rounds. Yeah, so I think that's a good kind
of introduction to just kind of sharing a little bit about quadratic funding. Probably most people
in here already know about quadratic funding and how it works. But really, the idea behind
quadratic funding is democratic distribution of funds. So Polygon Village has put up this
grant funding, this 250,000 MATIC, which is the matching pool. And the community of donors,
of unique donors, get to decide how those funds get distributed to participating projects
by donating. So the projects that are basically most popular with the community, the ones that
get the most unique donors and the most donations end up getting the greatest percentage of the
matching funds. So it's a really, really interesting and unique mechanism. And you see
all kinds of things emerge here where there's a huge incentive to then start onboarding your mom
and onboarding your brother and your sister and getting everybody to rally around donating to
your project. So it's a really great onboarding opportunity for new people into Web3 and also a
really great opportunity for projects to really kind of get their mass community kind of behind
them and supporting with donations. So this round has been really exciting. I mean,
it just started yesterday and we've already seen 1,881 donations made from 1,500 addresses.
And we've seen just not including the matching funds at all, there's already been $36,000
of funds of like equivalent US dollars donated to projects just from individual unique donors
since yesterday. So the round is going until the 24th. You have basically from yesterday until
end of day on the 24th to donate in the round. And I'm just really excited to see
all of the extra donations that will be rolling in all the extra support coming into projects.
Yeah, in the round. Yeah, so I'll just pass it to you one more time, Grendel Marco. If you want
to share a little bit more about like some tips to projects for kind of making the best of
quadratic funding and just kind of like anything you want them to know, like with regards to
just keeping in mind awareness about the spirit behind quadratic funding and the spirit behind
the Polygon Village round. Well, I will share a couple of them. Maybe then I would ask you
to share more tips because you are far more experienced than me on how quadratic funding
campaign could be successful. Well, first of all, I would like to say that one of the main
aspect of quadratic funding is mutual respect and mutual wishes, wishing that everyone will get
something out of the round because this is a community and the community wants to grow
together. Of course, everyone of the participants have and will have also some, let's call them
egoistic means because you want to get more funding because you need more funding to grow.
This is normal, this is logical, but it is just one of the steps on how a project grows. I would
like everyone well to focus on growing their own community because this is how you can
receive more donation without being too rude, of course, asking people to vote or go through
very annoying campaigns because it is not going to pay. It never pays. What it pays is being honest
and being organic on what you're building and being the first advocate of what you're building.
This is what is going actually to attract more people to what we are building. Within the round,
you will be able, each one of the participants will be able also to find new friends but also
new partners on what you're building. Everyone should see it as a community that is participating,
as a community that is helping one another in order to grow over time.
Yeah, I couldn't echo that or agree with that more. I think that this is a really key point
of quadratic funding rounds. Of course, there's a matching pool there and you want your project
to be the most successful by attracting the most donors, but what we've seen in past quadratic
funding rounds, both ones that we've run on Giveth and also ones that we've participated in
as Giveth, is that collaboration even with other projects and supporting other projects to
also get donations, then you kind of get your message to go out even further. Say that you're
working on an NFT project and you know three other NFT projects that are in a round, a great
opportunity to get a boost of funds is to share a tweet thread that's listing all those different
projects and talk about the other projects in the round that you also support and you also
really get behind. I mean, I think that an interesting thing about quadratic funding rounds
as well is that like the mechanism for distributing funds is donations and donations are inherently
like altruistic. They're inherently a giving act, so we can really kind of get behind the spirit of
giving here and rallying your community of donors to give not just to your project, but also the
other projects that you support and that you believe in and take it from something that could
just be kind of like competitive into something that can actually be like a really warm community
focused, like growth focused effort. Yeah, we've actually prepared, from Give As We Prepared,
I don't know if you guys have seen the projects that are listening here and even the donors that
are listening here, we prepared a notion guide that has a bunch of different tips. It explains
a lot of different things about the round, including round details and how funds are going
to be distributed and things donors need to know, but it also has a whole guide about tips for
promoting your project. It explains things like, you know, sharing your story and kind of like
really creating kind of like a heartfelt compelling story that like people really want to get behind
and donate to and things that I was just talking about, like rallying with other communities of
like-minded projects and kind of like kind of making use of each other's audiences as well. So
I think Amun pinned that tweet, yeah, Amun pinned the tweet to the top of the space here that
shares a link to the notion guide that has all of those different resources in there. So if you
haven't checked it out already, like get into this notion guide and yeah, check out all the
information that's in there. I mean, there's so much in there and if there's something that's
missing, you can also always reach out both to Give Us and the Give Us Support channel. You
can join our Discord, discord.giveus.io and then from there, ask in our support channel and then
also you could also open a support ticket on the Polygon side. So maybe Marco, could you just explain
how people could contact Polygon if they have questions? Well, if they have questions, the best
if it is not something very quick that can be solved without or even too much about the project,
we have the support portal that is always open to, well, to reply to everyone that has some needs.
It is very, very simple. The link is support.polygon.technology. You open a ticket, you explain
what is the issue. Please remember to add your project name and the team will come back to you
very, very fast. Usually the response time is about one, two, three hours and sometimes it
could be a bit more, but we never waited more than 24 hours before reply. So every time that
you have anything that you want to ask that is related to this round, that is related to anything
that is about Village, feel free to open a ticket and the team will come back to you soon.
Perfect. Thank you so much. Yeah, I'm also wondering if like we've also got, we've got
Polygon. I can't remember who said he's behind the Polygon handle up here on stage. We've
got Almond. Do you guys have any other tips or tricks for projects or things that you think
that projects should really know while participating in the round?
You're asking. I'm the community manager, so I'm not super up to speed on everything going on,
but yeah, I think, I think Grendel could give some good tips for this.
Oh, for sure. Sorry, go ahead, Marco. I mean, if you don't, if you don't got any tips,
I wanted to just pass you the mic in case you had something to say, but even if you wanted to share
what you are excited about in this round or like what you're really kind of motivated for
supporting the Polygon Village round for. Yeah, I mean, I think it's super essential. You know,
I'm a big community guy, right? So, but like with supporting community and projects, like there needs
to be the proper infrastructure within any ecosystem, right? Like if you're trying to
attract new participants like coming in, like it needs to be an environment where they're able to
come in and just have a smooth experience, right? So coming in and having this this info round,
I think is just essential for Polygon as an ecosystem.
Awesome. Yeah, great. Thank you so much. Cool. So I think that's a perfect kind of like segue
into passing the mic to projects. I actually see that we've already started by bringing
projects up here. So before we get started passing the mic, I'll pass it to you in a second,
Green Digital Guardians, but projects who are here listening in the space, if you want the
mic, please just request it and we'll be kind of bringing people up on a first come first serve
basis. And just keep in mind though, like try to try to keep the mic for like three minutes
or three to five minutes, no more than five minutes, because we really want to get as many
projects up here to share what they're what they're doing as possible. So without further
ado, I'll pass it over to you, Green Digital Guardians, if you want to talk a little bit
more about your project and yeah, how it relates to the building on Polygon Round.
Hey, hello, everyone. Yeah, the history of Green Digital Guardians is like,
we want to preserve lands around around like starting nearby Medellin or the whole department
of Tokyo and then in Colombia. So we start in Selo, but we then decide to move like to be
cross chain because we are planning to launch like a different like, different collection of NFTs
and every holder of each collection of one of these NFTs are going to be like a holder and a
member of the of this big community. So you can enjoy the the land so you can go and visit the lands
and everything. So we have our first collection in Selo, but we are we are also launching our
like second collection in Polygon. So and for the verification process, like in our webpage,
you can use, you just will need to go to the webpage and connect to your metamask or wallet.
And we can verify if you have any of these NFTs. It doesn't matter if you have a Selo NFT or a
Polygon NFT or an Optimus NFT, if you hold one of these NFTs, so you are going to be able to
enter to the like private access to the section of the webpage and you are going to be able to
connect to the surveillance camera and some kind of like privilege that you're going to have.
So that's why we applied for the Polygon round because we have we have three different,
at the moment, we are going to have three different collections, one in Selo, one in Polygon,
and one in Optimus because we think that those are like the main ecosystem that we are focused
focusing at the moment. And we are we are we are also helping like we are going to collaborate
with GloDollar and GloDollar has the GloDollar token in Polygon. So we are holding our treasury
instead of DAI, we are holding in GloDollar like we are we're commitment to always hold like a 50%
of our treasury in GloDollar. That's awesome. I love the I love the work that you guys are
doing supporting I mean using blockchain really to support the planet and even just using GloDollar
which is an awesome token. It's like a stable token that supports poverty people and poverty
uplifting people out of poverty. So thank you so much for sharing about your project. We'll pass
the mic on to the next project who came up here. We've got Pauli Raiders. You have the mic if you
want to share a little bit what you guys are doing. Hi everyone, my name is Riajala. I am
8 years old. I'm sorry I'm 9 years old. I'm a photographer and a model. I love to draw and
snap. When we make ourselves we provide sanitary parts to young girls and we have provided to
1,259 girls so far and my blockchain is polygon. Thank you. So this is Mozi's point. I just want
to keep it simple. I'm daddy behind the PFE and I realize my daughter. So we are a family that is
into web3 and basically we are like she said providing sanitary parts to young girls. We have
been able to do that via our NFT sales but when we got to learn about these grant rounds and the
possibility of doing better we had a long-term plan of building a web3 hub which is a five-year plan
but when this came up we felt this is the opportunity for us to be able to onboard more
girls in Nigeria and play to state Nigeria to be precise. That is our state and I've been a teacher,
I've been a principal for the past 10 years and I've experienced firsthand where my students are
not able to come to school because they don't have access to the sanitary products. So we want to
build a web3 hub where we will be able to provide services like tailoring or teach these kids how to
do stuff like tailoring, fashion design, hairdressing, bead making. I'm a fine arts teacher so we have
photography, painting, tie and dye and such. That is basically why we are here and why we are on
polygon. Mainly we started on it actually but the community we came to polygon and stayed on
polygon for the community how people rally around us you know do a lot of stuff as it is in the
weeks time we will be having a donation that was given to us by a project Legion of Gloom headed by
Tony Matikman. Some of you may know him so he gave us 750 Matik. I would be giving sanitary parts and
school materials to young girls and little kids over here in Nigeria in a weeks or two weeks time.
Thank you so much and if permitted I would post a grant round up on the jumbotron and I'm
happy to answer any questions. Thank you so much and God bless.
Thank you so much. If you have a link or a tweet about your project that links to your project
it would be great if you could also share it to pin it to the Twitter space so then people can
find you better. I talked about your project the other day I really love the work that you guys
are doing and you just got verified too and give us their congratulations.
Yeah so I'll pass the mic on to the next project let me see who's next up for your message. We got
the Order of the Redeemed so pass it over to you. Hi everyone thank you for being up here today
it's amazing to be up here with everyone so I'm Kane and I'll be representing the team at the
Order of the Redeemed today. So we're a trio of artists streetwear fashion designers and history
podcast hosts and we began to transition our career over to Web3 in 2021 and since working
together we've had our artwork at some of the biggest events in galleries in the world.
So we've had our clothing and fashion at London Fashion Week also Metaverse Fashion Week in
Decentraland. We've had our fine art at Saatchi Gallery and the Science Museum in Miami. Our music
collaborated with mixed cloud and our animations at Pinewood Studios Film Festival. So we've come
together to create our project which is the Order of the Redeemed and within this we focus on
three major areas. So number one is our culture and history documentary and podcast series.
So we've released the first 10 episodes of this so far and we've had episodes including Gandalf the
White and Divine Resurrection, The Matrix which is Neo's secret book Simulacra and Simulation
by John Baudrillard and Nietzschean Philosophy in 2001 A Space Odyssey. Channel number two is
our streetwear fashion design. We're really proud to say our eco garments are up there in the top
of the world with some of the most ethically sourced and sustainably manufactured clothes
in the world and channel number three is our artwork. All of the art that you see from us
is created by the core team which is myself, Jessica and our head shaman, Cosmos who you'll
see down in the spaces. We have an absolute passion for artwork and it is really the driving
force of what we do. If anyone's local to Manchester we have an exhibition next month
in the home gallery so if anyone's local to that drop us a message. We really get to meet
up with some people there. Currently with the Order of the Redeemed as well we have two major
partnerships running. The first is with the Church of England. We're actually raising money
currently through NFT sales to fix a thousand year old church in London and it's famous this
church is famous for being Tolkien's favorite church. His daughter actually got married there
and it's the first NFT project to be raising money for a listed building so I'm really proud
to be working on that and secondly our partnership is with Lively World TV show. So the Order
NFTs are currently on a modern tech TV show and this is airing in Argentina and Spanish speaking
regions of USA including New York. So a huge reason of like why we do all of this is we have this
passion and enthusiasm to preserve culture all over the world. We're really into our history
and as well as that we want to support the world that is existing today including people,
animals and nature. So far in our journey as a team we've had In Real Life events and raised over
Β£13,000 for a domestic abuse charity. We've raised Β£13,000 for an art charity, for an art therapy
charity. We've funded wildlife habitats. We've paid for forest volunteer training. We've got
trees across forests that we've paid to have nursed and protected. We've even covered
some of our community's pet medical bills and we've offset over 20,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide.
We have a vision with the Order NFTs to not just be a hub for spiritual teaching, history,
art and fashion but together with our community we have a vision of being a cultural movement
and we're really happy to do it on polygon. Our DMs are literally always open so if any
of this like interested you definitely reach out because we'd love to connect.
Wow amazing! I'm just loving the art on your Giveth project as well. There's like really
great pictures on there too. Please send a link, share a link to your project.
Put it to the Twitter space if you can so people can find you. But yeah thank you so much for
for jumping up here on stage and sharing about your project. The next group we've got up here
is Polly Doge so I'll swing the mic over to you. Hey Lauren, thank you so much. Thank you
everyone for having us and I mean let's just take a moment you know like Polly Doge we've
been here since April of 2021. We are the first meme coin on polygon. We're one of the most held
tokens on all of polygon as well I think third in the running and this is just a historic moment
you know for all of us here on polygon all this builders all this founders communities
uh you know that love polygon that bleed purple that are all about the purple wave
and uh it's it's just amazing that we have this opportunity now where we can do this quadratic
funding round and many more to come uh you know to support the the amazing projects that that
are up here and the thing that that gets us most excited at Polly Doge um you know the secret
to our success is the partnerships we've made the relationships we've made along the way
and so we we just look forward to hearing that all the different projects and seeing who
we want to back and who we want to be uh you know working with and um and helping to also
get donations because I you know I was hearing what Lauren was talking about and you know
that's really a part of the ethos and the culture of polygon is that we support each other
we we uh we're not a chain that fights one another we're we're um we're the type that link
links arms and and we all try we're all trying to you know go for the same goals the same vision
and uh it's it's just absolutely amazing so with Polly Doge uh we've we've had all kinds of uh
you know different things that we've done we've done NFTs we've done metaverse events you know
we do polycon which is the biggest metaverse event uh for for polygon and we will be doing polycon uh
you know 2024 this year um and we were just exploring all these different utilities and
different ways that we can build community because that's that's the that's the core driving force of
of everything that we do is we want to build communities and build strong communities and
my background uh my name is Jordan Charters I'm one of the co-founders of poly uh
Polly Doge um I I have a massive background in non-profits and fundraising and also I built one
of the biggest Facebook groups in the world called Worldwide Unified that has about 565,000 people
in 138 countries and through that whole process I just saw that you know when we work together
that um we're stronger together and and when you build communities that can create moments with
meaning it's it's such a powerful thing and what we built with Worldwide Unified was like a slice
of heaven on earth and so we really want to continue you know with what we've built in the past and
and try to you know find the the best way that we can push this forward and so for us at Polly
Doge um I personally am a bingo fan I played bingo with my my friends family different communities
different church communities and also um I I also you know played bingo with with in like nursing
homes and different things like that but um we saw that there was this this really cool opportunity
to build a platform for web3 and also for web2 that's account abstracted that takes the
antiquated models of of what bingo is and then brings it to the digital age and so that's
that's what we're building right now so you know we're building a way that communities can play
bingo together they can earn prizes and also with our model which is a revolution of changing the
model with bingo is it's bingo to earn so you know the the the og way of of playing bingo is you
you know maybe pay a fee and you might win a prize you might not win a prize but with our
model you'll be able to collect points and then those points will go toward all kinds of different
things when it comes like gift cards or um or other tokens or nfts there's all the
there's no limit to the amount of different rewards that we can do and the really cool
part about this is that it's not just for web3 we can reach out to any business any community
any organization any church and have them run bingo events off of our platform and so that's
what we're building so this grant is going to be going toward uh our mlp which is our minimum
lovable product and then we're going to be using that to raise even more funds uh we actually
have been talking with different bcs and and uh interested parties and they think that it's
a really amazing platform that that we're you know getting ready to build for web3 for web2
for adoption and just have fun playing bingo so that's uh that's what we're that's what we're
here to do with that we have many other things that we've been doing and we have plans for this
year but that's what this uh grant round is going toward so thank you and good luck to everyone
that's participating thanks so much probably does um make sure that you can add a link to your project
to the top of the first place so people can find you and send a donation um we've got the next
project up here on stage it's refi managing um so sling the mic over to you
hi and thanks for the opportunity so we refi managing we have been
uh creating some opportunities to level up the life of the people in managing um so
we do have a collection of nfts that they are in polygon um and we also want to
to expand our credit platform that we just launched last month and is currently in
cello and optimist so we also want to include polygon in this platform and that's what we have
been doing that's all for the moment awesome thank you um and same same to you please share a link
to refi managing at the top of the the twitter space here you can pin it at space and people can
find you and donate um the next project up here is freeze reverse um so wait are you still here
yeah freeze reverse you're next um i'll swing it over to you thanks lauren yeah i'm still here
you know uh hi grandel i think it's it's multi give it every one of you you know um it's so
grateful to be here you know always the polygon supporting all the the projects so basically we
started three servers two years ago you know in the bullish market uh from 2021 now in that time
like most of the nft projects were all about just gpg uh art but we wanted to do something different
so we started with our main collection that is the pfp that we have it's paletto you know and we
wanted to give like something back to our community here in mexico uh so yeah we decided to to give a
percentage of all of the meant to donations and we were looking you know for a lot of months uh
uh ong that wanted to collab with us or to refine uh one that was aligned with our main values that
was save the children so that's basically also why we always do that like food collections you know
and also cut finish because we're all about helping children that is in hunger you know
uh so yeah basically that's the main thing that we will we were doing since we started
last year we started with the donations but then we realized that it wasn't that cool you know to
donate to our organization we wanted to see the funds and going directly to the children so our
free donation uh was to poly riders that was also here speaking you know we made an event with them
and we're also going to do more donations i think then then we have you know fox club and i think
then for the society you know all of them part of these polygon collections that are
helping the children you know doing a real change in the work and nowadays we are
we have launched another three collections always looking to help other artists like a lot of
artists were asking us to hope to deploy a generative collection so we deployed one with
my little niece she was only 11 years old and she loves to grow so we deployed also collection
then we did our third collection also about the laddos and now we are doing also a phone collection
it's a polyto pfp that i got you know it has like 80 percent of of prices in all the collections so
if you meet a palacio a paleto you might get an nft from the top uh collections in polygon we
have given already uh put a misty rex dogs you also you know it's it's a fun because we always
try to do uh new innovative collections this one is also super fun because each paleto has a
backstory made with artificial intelligence so if you see each nft description you will see
like the flavor you know the toppings and also like some sign phrase about it and yeah
nowadays we are looking to give more value to our holders my eyes or talking yellow
that basically we have like a small marketplace made in tier one also we will not support another
artist so they can also list the nfts there nowadays we are looking to partnership with
another marketplace to list all nfts in our rc20 token and also we are working in our merch
same trying to to help other collection that wants to to sell their merch but nowadays we are only
doing the shipping in mexico so we want to to grow to grow worldwide but yeah basically
that's all i wanted to say already thanks for all for your time and i will leave you my
my link for you to donate you know it doesn't have to be much you know one one dollar can
can really make a difference and don't forget to to support the people that are beside your
profile so thanks a lot thank you so much i love that you guys are also using a portion
of your proceeds to be supporting impact projects and and donate as well it's really really great
to hear um um yeah pin your tweet if you haven't yet um i don't see it yet but you know you got time
um so people know where to find you and we'll pass it on to the next project up here is nifty limos
hello everyone it's bigel speaking on behalf of nifty limos team and super happy to be here and
introducing my project today give it community and polygon community
we started this project back in 2021 during the bull market and much like many other projects
starting at the middle east or third world countries we didn't get the exposure we were
hoping for and we only managed to maybe sell 69 minutes out of the 10 000 supply of our
energy tokens but alas we didn't let that discourage us from pursuing the building
process of the game and over the past two years we managed to not only get the big game the
entire rebuilt but also some of the features that makes our project unique for example the
decentralized marketing aspect we are the first nft project with a rentable outer space
inside the nfts which is one of the areas that was very passionate about finding a
intersection between decentralized marketing and nfts so i'm very proud of achieving
all the goals i set out for myself back then but still we have a lot a long way to go
and that is why we are currently trying to convince people to donate and support us basically
slowly build the community around the game as a token of appreciation we are offering all
the donors to our project means from the original collection and i think one of the aspects that
set us apart from other gaming projects is that usually in gaming projects in web tree
the dilution of the nft collection is a major problem because the early supporters who often
spend a lot of money maintaining those nft tokens early on end up seeing their collection diluting
over and over by the growth of their project but we have decided a new we have to say to
follow a new path for scaling the game which is basically a bi club manager narrative so
there is always going to be only 10 000 nft cars in our game but new players who are not nft
holders will start as collab managers basically they will be able to play the game but they have
to rent an existing nft car or nft limo for the racing so if they participate with a existing
cart existing car in a race and win their reward money will be split between themselves and the
holder of the nfts they have rented or members of their club basically so this way the community
of the gamers can scale and grow beyond the initial 10 000 nft holder community of the
game but also the early supporters of the project will be rewarded for their support via
various monetization methods whether it's just renting their cars to other club managers or
finding a sponsor for their cars via our nifty billboard smart contract so we are very happy
to have this opportunity provided by polygon community and give it to not only introduce our
project but i actually have a path for getting support and donation from the community so we
are very grateful for the opportunity and would like to thank both polygon and give it platform
for this opportunity once again and if you want to support our project you can check out our twitter
page and there's a link to our give it profile for the donation and yeah that's it thank you
for the opportunity once again i will leave the two bars continue thank you thank you so
much nicki lemons and i see that almond shared already a tweet that links to your project there
so you can you can find me if you want us through the pins tweet and donate to them there we've
probably got time for like three or four more projects so i keep passing the mic around but
just for any projects that are kind of in the queue and they're not really getting a chance
to take it up onto the mic we will be having another twitter space towards the end of the
round it's on the when day is it on oh it's on the 22nd on the 22nd we'll be having another
twitter space um so i'll get maybe almond you can pin a link to that space as well to the to the top
here so if you're kind of like oh no i'm not going to get a chance to speak don't worry we've
got another one coming up um so without further ado i'll pass it along to work beam you're up next
hey laurine thank you for calling and inviting thanks grendel all polygon team and all the
family and yes we all are builders and making a huge and nice and really good project so what's
about our war beam for beam is space television it's open community television and we're changing
the way how the broadcasters as a channel owner is exist and we're doing it and making it
available for everyone meaning every person can be the part of the television and provide
the content no matter are you starting dancer singer player fashion designer or whatever
you are free to go and use our platform yes we're launching in 24th already 11 23
our license is opening and we are starting from satellite transmission to
uh to mobile application apple tv and uh smart tv televisions applications directly
uh the platform is very good and the most beautiful thing is that our token is
war beam and it's linked like not a stable coin but stable service token so meaning each second
one second or one photo of your content is one token that's it no matter what's gonna be priced
later in euros or in dollars but it's stable service token yes we will provide free access
and we giving unified storage like five gigabytes and uh oh my my princess came a little bit
i got sorry so so the biggest part is uh right now we are raising some funds to finalize
and some testing stages already we have a lot of partners who's who is working with us
and uh you should uh i just i cannot just mention so our friends from community center
all our heaven snooks companies and uh and uh a lot of more projects and companies also joining us
and yeah it's really great opportunity so even even today i could say already we got
like 5000 followers on twitter in one day so this is really huge achievement yeah
wow amazing and oh sorry yeah it was probably some network okay cool wow man your project sounds
so cool i was just checking out right now streaming service and um please post a link um to the project
as well on the twitter space and we've probably got only time for the next like i think we'll
have time for three more projects that are up here on stage um so i'll just pass the mic around
to you um next up is market land hello hello lauren thank you so much for hosting this
space and greetings from here marbea spain okay so i will present you marketland what is market
land marketland is basically a web free infrastructure for creators so we have been through
development the last two years and we luckily finished the mvp of our product recently the last
month and now we are looking to launch the beta of our platform in february in the beginning of
the february maybe mid of february what is market land about um market land basically um
makes everything easier for the creators in the web 3 becomes because when it comes about web 3
almost of the creators have a lot of doubts or even technical acknowledge gaps that they don't
know for example how to uh deploy a contract or how even to write a contract or how to create the
pictures or how to convert these pictures to metadata how to connect a website or minting
page to this contract so we are solving every of these problems in market land first of all
we are launching our platform with a pictures creator that is generating all the graphical
assets that is required for an ft project and second instance these pictures are easily converted
to metadata that is also a trouble for some of almost all the creators when it comes to nfts
uh a part of that we also have uh easy user and friendly interface uh smart contract creator
so the people is able or the creators better say is able to create their smart contracts
on 10 blockchains uh in an easy user interface way just uh fullifying different fields like supply
price white list private list etc there is a lot of different options to customize and
in this way we are giving the opportunity to the creators to to control itself their projects and
not relying on a technical team let's say a part of that once the contract is created and deployed
that could be made in like 10 five minutes uh automatically it created uh a minting page website
this is not a common minting page website that we usually use it to see this is a complete website
that is completely customizable with links barums you can input videos you can input pictures and
this website is directly connected to that deployed smart contract so uh the creator uh in question
in terms of 15 20 minutes or maybe you know in one hour uh could have uh their running smart contract
connected directly to the to their uh minting page website a part of that we are also giving
other peripheral services to give trust or to give easy access to the customers of the creators
like uh via to crypto payment getaway like uh swaps to receive uh payments and different
cryptocurrencies and the creator will be receiving these payments in the uh wanted uh cryptocurrency
as also kyc kyb um services uh that rely on the creator so the creator itself is deciding
if they want to uh get verified to give trustability to their community or if not we are making these
kyc's and kyb's uh procedures and for for the creators a part of that all also we have a smart
contract audition service that is also made directly from our platform and in a very fast and
let's say cheaper way that made by any other company so we have closed some key partnerships
on the on the last months that are giving the ability to us to to offer these services
um a part of that uh right now we are uh on the on the final stage so we already have the
running mvp we are preparing our beta to be launched on the first weeks of february
and we are uh also launching a token with uh with our beta platform to try to fundraise some
funds to to finish the second phase of our platform on the second phase of our platform
we will be including a white level marketplace service to the all previous mentioned services
so the people will be able also to trade their digital assets on their own marketplace and the
focus of all of this or the focus of our project is to as i told is to give to the creator that
power that maybe they sometimes lost because of the technical lack knowledge so we are here to
help all these creators to go ahead and and control by themselves their uh their projects
awesome thank you so much um please uh share your your project as well intended to the space
um we're running out of time in our twitter space right now but we've got time for two more
projects we got gravity dao up next and then and then we'll end it off on patara so um yeah
let's bring it over to you gravity um i guess you got we got wonka back here so it's about
what you're up to thanks loren thanks everyone um yeah in gravity dao what we try to do is to
care for um the human beings um in projects in web3 projects we think that sometimes we focus too
much on on products but we think that the humans are um really the the most impactful
product that is coming out from from the web3 movement and um we try to offer education on
on soft skills um to facilitate coordination in web3 projects the first uh product that we have
is a conflict management training that is online and you can take it um at any moment on our page
um it's it's um a very transversal skill conflict management um for both um working um in a in a
dao and also to deal with everyday life and um for this year our goal is to make our second training
that is going to be focused on the topic of leadership we think that um leadership is
something very important and it's something that it's very crucial to the web3 movement
but also we don't speak a lot about it and um we want to make a three-month training
uh that will be hosted in our in our discord server for free for everyone that wants to join
and we invite the polygon community to join um to talk about leadership to learn about uh
leaders experiences to have theoretical and practical um activities and and resources so
that we can make um better leaders in web3 and also um for for for um leading this whole cultural
um revolution that it's also coming through the technology so um we focus on trust creation
and conflict management and and we we are trying to to also um provide educational offerings to
complement um the the human development side of the web3 experience
thank you wonka i'm such a big fan of gravity we use it all the time i think give us and i totally
agree that taking care of the humans is super important um we've got time for just one more
project here i won't remember to pin gravitated at twitter space we got time for one more project
uh patara is up here on stage closing us out for today if you can tell us what your project is all
about hey leren thank you for having us tonight and patara is an first real uh web3 password manager
and which solves the problems of lack of anonymity on the web2 password managers and
solves the wallet account confusions like i store my uh key payers in paper and all of them are
just different keywords right and in the case of web2 uh they are not secure and your anonymity
is uh like you are not anonymous or pseudonymous they have your name they have your image data
they have your everything patara solves this problem with a thing we call zero of your customer
which we don't have any data about the users users are all and so the enemies we get crypto we
get payment as crypto and patara we we say patara is a web3 password manager but in the future we
want to make the patara an identity manager so you will be able to create temp identities you will be
able to verify your government id via zero no zero no kse and you will be able to securely
chat within the patara and you will be able to store your documents via what via patara and securely
sharing them and in this community people all know urgent wallets they will make a
feature that we called angel guard nfd you will be able to recover your master password or we
called seed phrase or high pass via nfd and social social friends or family and to be honest
the patara is actually a identity manager and you will be able to manage all your identities via patara
and as i told it too many future plans but the patara end of the day will be a sign in anchor
like metamask or anything and will support and other projects and ecosystem via sign in anchors
and donating as well thank you guys and you you guys will be able to check what we are
spending on in this quadratic funding via our webpage transparently after the quadratic funding
thank you guys thank you so much patara um amandari pinned your tweet up to the space
um and that's the top of the time that we have today um i i want to just say to everybody that
since we have so many projects that are requesting for the mic uh we we kind of discussed it on the
side here and um and i think we can actually host an extra twitter space so we'll be announcing
another twitter space for more projects to be sharing about their projects we didn't get a chance
to today either thursday or friday this week so stay tuned um for the give us twitter uh stay tuned
on the give us twitter we'll be announcing that later today or tomorrow um so as another
opportunity for projects we really really want to make sure that you guys all get a chance here
in the spotlight it's honestly it's so great to hear about all the projects and put like a voice
behind some of the some of the new projects we're seeing on giveth um so thank you so much for your
time today and um i think we can close out the space here unless there's unless marco do you
have any last words that you want to say for the round no just thank you everyone for being here
to listen to everyone and see you soon in the next space perfect well thank you so so much
please remember to check out give us dot i o slash q f and donate to some of these amazing
projects that we heard from today and even more projects that are on there we've got almost 200
projects already in the round raising funds matching pool of 250 000 maddox so it is a huge
round and a huge opportunity to really get support to the projects that you love um so we'll see
you guys all in the next Twitter space Thursday or Friday stay tuned and um yeah happy happy
Tuesday happy Tuesday
