Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
I'm not sure if you can hear us.
I just want to give a quick introduction about yourself and everything you guys are building
on a message.
And we got Paris.
giving you a little bit, you know, giving you, you know, giving, you know, giving you, you know,
a core experience, you know,
and you're, you're telling me, you know, every virtual story, you know, and you're all just, you know, you're, you know, and you're, you're a David's, yeah, okay, they're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're running, you're, you're, you're,
telos as well as we'll be launching soon on telos and uh sort of uh like i'll dive deeper into the
game uh but yeah i mean i just want to understand like what sort of uh spot we have for speaking
100 yeah we can we'll dive into that kind of uh you know with each of you guys
talk about the updates and everything upcoming right you know i think one thing that's you know
awesome to look at is if you look at the web3 ecosystem right there's not a lot of games that
have actually reached a point of fruition right a lot of got stuck in development or stuck with
user acquisition and you guys have effectively built around all angles and so that's why it's
exciting to have you guys on because you've all built something tangible right and so looking at
that looking at everything you built on the technology side looking at the communities you
guys have built what has been the biggest challenges you guys have faced so far and we
can start with you know you daniel fusionist um that can be you know community it can be tech
it can be good market strategy what's been you know the biggest challenge and struggle you guys
have faced to get what you've got to this point
okay thank you uh so um uh so let's start from uh when we first started uh to actually develop our
our product our game which is which was uh november october november of 2022 so last year
and uh so it's just been uh seven or eight months so far and then we just we just launched our beta
test uh last month and um i think uh one of the things that you know when we first started out
you know you know of course is to get that buzz and then once we uh started getting some momentum
and uh i think a lot a lot of times we're trying to keep a very uh uh reasonable reasonable pace
so to speak so uh we don't you know uh because we're trying we're actually trying to
build a sustainable and then uh uh uh development and then you know that that will lead me into uh
going into what our game is really about but uh you know what since since we started developing it
and then uh building up a community uh we have about uh 945 000 uh members on our discord now
and then on twitter we have about uh 700k followers so um it all went it all went went by uh really fast
and uh actually that that is something that we didn't really want you know we of course we want
we know we want a lot of followers you know a lot of people to know about our project we also we
also wanted to keep it at a reasonable pace so we don't you know uh keep all of our you know major
news you know our major development you know uh in one short period of time we wanted to you know
uh space them out and then it's been working out for us so far so that was one of the things that
you know uh we when we announced a lot of corporate uh corporations prs uh even uh with our investors
uh so uh this also brings me to uh one of our uh main investors which is finance labs uh we announced
uh their investment in us uh also last month but they actually invested in in us uh last year
and then you know it was it was a lot of back and forth discussions about you know oh when we want to
when do we want to actually release this kind of news uh it's great pr but we don't want it to
release it you know too early because we didn't have a project we didn't have a product yet
and uh we wanted to you know have it be official in the same time you know put uh you know let's say
you know we had we are we had our beta test so last month so you know we wanted it to go with that
uh that time frame and so it's a lot of uh plannings and discussions about you know okay we
want people to constantly you know hear about a project it's not just you know one boom um big
buzz right there and then we go silent uh i i think this is that that's one of the things that you
know sometimes we we see in the industry uh you know it might lead to some negative negative thinking
about oh they're just gonna create a big buzz and then they're gonna be out of here
so that's not that's not what we were trying to do and um you know there's something um i don't i
wouldn't say it's very difficult for us but it was something that we constantly you know think about
because development wise you know we are we are actually quite experienced i would say a veteran
team of developers so you know making our games um i can talk a little bit more about our game so
which is um we are maxing you know uh five on five uh combat uh gameplay type of game but we also we
don't have just one gameplay we have three gameplays so what that means is we have a we have our game
one which is uh you know planet acquisition you know we have planet nfts and then there are moons
around these at these planets so what you do on these moons on these planets is uh you know you buy an
nft or you know you rent a chance to actually excavate on these moons so you build factories you know
assembly lines you mine resources so this is a build simulation type of game right that's game
one and in game two which was uh what our beta test was about was about you know the actual you know
ultra detailed uh graphic wise i would say you know we're you know one of the
pretty high up there you know graphics uh you know realistic i mean not realistic we try we try to build
it more like a uh very exciting intense mech battles so robots battles and how how you build these robot
teams is you uh you can combine two lower tier you know max into one higher tier max and how and in order
to do that you will need a lot of resources and that's where game one comes in so you know uh the resources
you gather from game one you can actually use them to uh build better max you know stronger teams you
know faster teams and then so you can actually you know build a really solid you know squad in game two
and right now our beta test we only have pv pve pve so just against ai computers but in the future
uh what we're gonna actually build is a e-sports like pvp so actual you know humans against humans you
know uh max battles so that's going to be interesting and this is this is uh a lot of uh what we're what
our ecosystem is built on uh you know you you have these resources in game one and a lot of a lot of
people maybe when they first come into the game they don't want to spend a lot money you know this is also a
player to earn game right so you come in here you don't want to just come in and spend a lot a lot
of money you know you want you don't want to buy all these expensive max so you can actually go to
game one and you can be you know a miner or you know a farmer you know a factory builder all that kind
of stuff and then you can build up you accumulate your resources and you can trade you can sell those
to uh more well-off players and then they can build you know better max or whatever you know
to compete in these e-sports e-sports events and um yeah so this is what our game one and game two is
about uh game one you already have a web web page version that's on our on our website it's called ace.fusionist.io
so it's uh it's uh it's on our mainnet uh endurance mainnet we build it so that it's uh it's um i would
say a game infrastructure layer so it's game and social centric um you know you can actually go in
there and earn our tokens and then you can use those tokens to play to uh buy better max or you know uh
uh there's a lot of process actually in in in how you can earn these earn our tokens but right now
uh you can earn them for free of course if you have our nfts you can you can earn them at a higher
a faster rate higher rate but if you don't want to you can just you know become our member you know
the score member and follow our twitter and you can actually farm them for free so game one game two
and uh leads into game three but game three is a little bit further down the line you know maybe
end of 2024 something like that and it's going to be a major maybe a nation on nation faction versus
faction uh 4x type of game uh explore exploit expand exterminate so it's going to be on a much grander
scale and uh right now we're not talking we're not showing anything about it yet because you know
it's a lot of work we're just focusing on game one game two right now sorry i maybe i went a little too
much into our you know what our project's about but you know this is what we've been doing so far
thank you yeah thanks daniel thanks for walking through all that i mean you guys have been very
methodical in how you've built it and uh and it was actually really cool when we first got on the
phone to think about that because a lot of people come into web three they just want to raise they
just you know have this vision but they end up building the vision according to how they see it
and they fail to realize that it may not be the user's vision right so really following the community
really releasing it at the right times that's very important for the product life cycle and success
yes exactly uh uh that's what uh one of the i guess the main topics uh you know our team or our ceo
talks about you know we don't want to go in here and then just just you know be temporarily is coming
to the space and then be out of here we want to be here we want to be here two years three years four
years down the line and then we're gonna keep expanding on this vision that we have for this
game and then you know uh building the main net so you know you can also not only just play the game
but you also have this closed loop but well maintained ecosystem that you can live on so yeah that's what
we're doing 100 man thanks for walking through all that uh we'll jump over to marwan uh katana inu um
you know i know you guys have kind of looked at uh you know a similar go-to-market and you also
lived in the nft side i just want to share with everybody kind of your experience and what your
biggest challenge has been getting to you know where you guys are at today well um thank you so much
tell us um yeah i also agree with daniel in most of case was he mentioned um also that many many um
projects outside are announcing things too early um so we also have a lot of partnerships we have
not announced it as well however um so regarding the question the biggest challenges um if the project
or a company say they have no challenges or something they have problems with i think they are just lying
um so um in our in our way um we have first of all was the first thing what we has um as challenge was
finding the right people right team members um on the right time and then the right task to to do that
um yeah so but finally we got it um the next thing was also that we are having a lot of challenges
because our game is not just a normal game like outside we are doing a game for multi-chain um we
need to build a multi-chain launch game launcher that we can connect to the game with our engine with our
different kind of um chains like different chains so i don't want to mention the names here um so also
telos will also will one one of the chains we'll be working with and um so even even though this is
not that we we are not um can get the the challenges done it just takes time to make it so finding the
right guy to help us to find the solution for any any problems what we figured what we have for now
everything is sorted out but previously we also had like a marketplace um we had a sort of team with
all sorts of again um from some some people one by one and the team was not was not um how to tell
so the team was not to train it again so there was every every and we were six people on that and
everyone was in different spaces or different countries you know and um we tried to get them
from remote to work on that and we finally found out that not going to work we spent some money
and lost our money here and then finally we needed to do everything from scratch and hire a real team
who are sitting side by side in the office like a company or whatever and then they did finally the
marketplace finished so we lost there are some months and some money but this is how it is we
learned from our mistakes and but finally everything is fine from now for the game side um we our game is
very heavy you can imagine like final fantasy game or call of duty um and fortnite combination in one game
um if someone have the time they can check or um it's a game like you can run like fortnite and but
the attacks and animations is all unique so you are taking like um sword and also can can shoot fire or
ice or whatever so like final fantasy or like leader of legends you know but it's more like fortnite um
third perspective you know so and the animations and everything need to be
um made for any classes one by one and this kind of things takes time and takes money
and uh also have some issues um if the problem was also that we started one and a half year ago
with the development and the most problem was that unreal engine 5 was not ready or it was in a beta version
um so on unreal engine 4 what you need to do if you have an animation you need to do manually by any
classes or any characters um implement them by by the development one by one on 5 is not like that you can
just click one and if it if it will automatically do on every characters and there's also something sad
sad so we can change everything and go to another engine 5 you know but we need three months of
development time with testing and bugs and so on to go on on engine 5. so right now everything what we're
doing um on energy 4 takes a bit more time but um we decided to make it um that if we are an open beta
everything is working good we will change it to five so that in future we can make everything much
much faster um yeah what else um and challenges i think also finding um we are not in this in this
stage that we can that we are we are still in close beta so we need you need nfts or tokens to play the
game but later and open beta we will have it for free for all um so right now we have not that
challenges that we need 100 000 of players because we are not in the stage right now so i think this
will be next challenges i think to find a lot of players to play the game step by step making the
right marketing like right collaboration with different game publishers and so on so this will
be all i think next challenges and i am ready for that and i love to do that um yeah i think um
this kind of things was some challenges um i hope you answered your question will
it was definitely thanks for walking through all that i think um you know it's funny to think
about how you actually want to onboard people methodically and really build that nurture journey
you know it's something we talked about when we first met is how do we build the desire for someone
to actually want the game and any assets in game right because an nft isn't going to mean anything
unless we actually nurture them and show the usability within that game so i think that that makes a lot of
sense and biggory's on the call i know he uh you know is very methodical and how he likes to roll
things out when we bring on projects uh paris over to you i'd love to hear kind of any of the challenges
you guys have faced on the community side the tech side the blockchain side and getting where you've
gotten today right so you know like most of the part i think uh katana i knew i can resonate with with
him uh basically like for us also like setting up the team and everything was very sort of uh challenging
task uh but we ended up now getting uh everyone in one place and uh then uh like mostly the game
developers because i was closely managing this so i hired like 35 people in my city in my town itself
and uh we set up the team here a couple of the team members are working remotely i am based out of
india and the team of game developers and blockchain developers and uh other uh core team members are
based out of korea australia indonesia and uh singapore so like this was one of one of our challenges
as well uh setting up the team then uh you know considering the pain points of uh users so in that
aspect uh like you know we we build a game first and then you think about nfts and like on a normal
uh process level but uh we think about the games we think about how the user journey will be and how
we can onboard the users but we fail to understand like how we can retain the users and
i think uh that is the biggest challenge of all uh all the games out there in web3 or web2
either case and that we need to retain the users and for that uh you know from the very first day we
have been brainstorming and we came up with a couple of solutions which we incorporated in race racing
so one was uh you know like directly launching a free-to-play version which we have already done
onboarded uh 3500 users till now uh it's a small number but it just happened organically within
uh like 20 30 days uh last 20 30 days and and we are sort of arrived at uh conclusion that okay i mean
we can take this game main it because uh we have already worked with the the mobile version of the
game uh the macbook version of the game ios so we want to make this game live on multiple platforms
and then um access to multiple blockchains is another challenge uh i mean uh being on one chain
restricts uh your uh uh like the web3 users who already you know uh are uh core gamers and uh
want to explore other projects in the same ecosystem and then being on the web2 space uh we have been uh
presenting race racing in a lot of web2 events actually uh like dream hack i've been uh to dream hack
in the asia where uh where all the games like supercell games and uh street fighter tournaments are
there so we organized a tournament free to play tournament three months back and um everything
was so amazing and i still you know have a lot of memories from that event uh dream hack i mean it was
very very good and then uh on the game side uh we launched a free to play version that was the first
part then we thought about how else we can engage the users then we came up with the thought of daily
claimables which are sort of in-game nfts uh that can burn once consumed and uh the same nfts can be
bought inside the game so driving the revenue aspect of the like entire gaming platform and then uh we come
to you know like what is the habit of like gamers or users right so a lot of people are more sort of
you know want to like they are now two branches people who want to play and earn with their um nfts
and uh the web3 ecosystem or someone who wants to bet their money so for that uh both the aspects we have
launched two other variations inside the game one is a tournament mode where uh we we keep some price
pools with the partners and uh in like we can do co-marketing there's advertisements billboards
inside the game and uh the next was uh wager mode which is sort of uh you bet the money you win and
uh you take all the pool so just like poker so these sort of aspects we took into account while you know
developing the game so that we have a long-term uh sustainable model and uh and then of course the
the multi-chain aspect and uh coming to you know like final final thoughts on being multi-chain you
know uh i would say like the game gaming gaming projects should uh incorporate within the game
uh the web 2 experience web 2 and web 3 experience like everything in one place because uh you know nfts
uh like from the web 2 user perspective if i'm seeing a fc project for the very worst time i feel
nfts are on open sea or uh other marketplaces then the game is on uh other platform and then the entire
uh you know sort of uh project variables are on the website so i mean personally like you know as a
gamer or um as a uh someone who is you know a lot into gaming i would not like to travel so much i
would like everything in one place which is what we did in our particular game and making it multi-platform
was another use case we wanted to build around 100 no i think that makes a lot of sense and and
actually even before you said it you know i i saw the synergies kind of between you and uh and you
know my conversations with katana inu and their go-to-market strategy you know you guys touched on
really good points right which is not just building the community but also keeping the community because
this space is so fast the attention span is you know max a week and so you not just have to draw
people in have good nurture journey you really have to make sure that you're keeping them and that
your token utility if you have a token life you have nfts live that that is also keeping people
and it's something that can't be gamified uh no pun intended
all right i think um i want to jump to a question actually that the big gui always likes to ask and i
think it's one of the best because it really you know makes us think about why we're building what
we're building and maybe if there was something you know a favorite game is kids that kind of uh you
know cause that nostalgia and influence to what you guys are building today and i'll actually ask peter
because i know peter always has uh as a good perspective and if big green wants to jump in
they can as well you know when you guys were growing up what was your favorite game are there any
inspirations you see all these web 2 games trying to come to web 3 now and um and obviously you know
those are always top of minds peter as a kid what were you in front of the computer screen playing for
hours a day man yes sir uh i i love this question jeff it's uh one of my favorites and you know just
just to kind of think of it i i kind of came up as a hardcore gamer like you know growing up in in in
the 90s i was i i was born in 89 so you know automatically a lot of the early um entertainment
systems really resonated with me i was big on the super nintendo and i remember one of the first games
that i truly fell in love with and i would spend hours after school hours after studying whenever i had
free time i would turn on this super nintendo and i would spend hours on chrono trigger so this was one
of the early you know japanese rpg um i guess kind of like platformer style games where you know
essentially you had a character you had multiple characters within your party you would level up
you would do quests and things like that and i was one of those people that i would try to 100
everything right that that was my goal whenever i played a game i need to 100 every single thing within
that game and it's the reason i bring that up is because you know a a big part of what we are doing
now in web3 gaming is we're trying to get back to that so everything you know all the projects that
we're bringing on board um the recent partnership with gamestop for gamestop player the number one
focus is gameplay first we want to focus on building exciting games with exciting game mechanics that
people truly want to play and in my opinion you know that's how we're going to really on board the
next 100 million people into blockchain and and that's the number one goal for for telus right now
as a network um with all the operations that we're doing so that's kind of my touch on it
maybe i'm sorry yeah maybe big gooey i would actually love to hear your thoughts on on on you know your
favorite games and i uh shout out big gooey he recently launched his own project lotr dow if
you guys haven't uh had a chance to take a look at it highly suggest you do it's it's it's definitely
a throwback to one of those early gaming creatives yo what's up fam yeah i i love this question i think
i i mean i wasted what is ostensibly probably years of my you know chubby little youth in front of a tv
screen the old cathode ray tubes um i think the games i really enjoy are like you said uh
corona trigger that's like a huge one for me and the final fantasy series on super nintendo
um i've actually recently just gone back to play them again on emulators and they still hold up in
terms of you need you need a riveting story or a narrative that you know compels people that want
to continue to play but i think just that you know there there are all these types of games that you
could play that you're drawn to whatever it is but um i know for myself and my own project like
we're returning to that spot where you know crypto is kind of the last piece of the puzzle
it enhances it and can enrich the experience but it can't be the thing that like propels any game um
i think we've really seen that not work in a meaningful way so i'm stoked to hear about like
all these projects from you know these these fellows that are up here that i think are doing just that
they they put that gameplay at the forefront and like that's that's really what people like you
can't fake fun um and and it really shows if you do so you know hats off to you guys for building
something that you know looks like a blast to play and can't wait to be uh you know hammering away and
hopefully you know i've got a young little guy myself who's probably going to be playing some video
games so it'll be cool to see him sitting in this new iteration that you know is a different makeup but
still very much in the kind of continuation and lineage of of you know what feels like a super
nintendo or sega genesis kind of experience
thank you sir absolutely definitely love the throwbacks to to the early days um i think we
can all kind of attest you know if you grew up during that generation that's that's a lot of
inspiration a lot of being creatives and things that were kind of drawn to and resonate to come from
that that early time you know that's not to say you know modern games don't don't have the same
appeal they certainly do in a different factor but i think there's there's a level of nostalgia
that comes back when you're thinking of you know the early old school days of gaming um how about you
daniel do do you have any uh favorite games or any inspirations that that you kind of grew up with
that has kind of made its way through fusionists um right so um i've always been a gamer so uh diablo
2 uh the original version and then if you guys are into into the blazer games uh you know diablo 2
resurrected came out two years ago and diablo 4 of course just came out and uh i think about
20 or 30 of our development team is constantly just playing diablo 4 but uh because i'm on the
marketing team i'm not on the development team so my computer my i use the laptop and it's not really
you know the spec is not really high enough to actually actually just play diablo and then also
work at the same time i guess so you know i actually don't play with them that much but uh
you know because i'm i'm actually on a i guess i'm a different time zone than most of you guys so it's
pretty late for me here so just right before this uh twitter space i was actually you know on my ps5
playing god of war ragnarok on the highest difficulty i was trying to finish some of the the trials i
i forgot what the name was names of the trials were but you know you have to you know complete
these trials uh from these like huge glowing swords and then you can get a final reward which is you
have to survive a wave of 99 enemies on highest difficulty i was trying to complete that before
i come on this uh space but i wasn't able to but you know i'm gonna i will probably jump back into it
right after this but uh uh going back to our project so uh it's it's uh you know it's a turn-based
strategy uh type of game so um you know we we take a lot of inspirations uh from a japanese uh title
called armor core uh you know their styles and uh you know their animations uh you know the way their
backs work it's just uh it just looks incredible incredible to us and uh our game is built on unity and uh
we actually we were actually one of the teams that uh unity uh china uh actually uh promoted our our
game because you know uh they were asking us they were actually you know asking asking our team for
advice about you know a lot of technology uh uh questions you know about you know using these ray
tracing a lot of these technical terms i'm sorry i'm not you know that proficient in those terms but uh
you know because they they uh they really appreciated us you know utilizing you know all of the
uh you know capability and uh functions of their engines so uh they actually promoted us as one of the
better uh teams to uh fully utilize uh the possibilities of the unity engine and uh we were really happy about
that and uh and and and our and so for our beta test for our beta test we actually uh we we launched it
at the beginning of june and uh we only uh it's actually launched on steam so our game is actually
on steam now uh but it's not on now because the server has been shut down beta test has ended it lasted
about a week 10 days and then we only uh generated uh about 300 beta test keys and um there were there were
about uh 80 000 to 100 000 people you know uh participating in our pre-beta test event it was
called a pause points pause event you know in order to get these beta test keys and then you come into
our game and then you have a lot of these achievements that you can accomplish you know within the beta test
and then if you accomplish those those achievements you'd be the first three or the first five or first
ten to actually get these achievements then you win uh whether either either are tokens or you know
some of the other you know rewards rewards on our uh mainnet so uh uh there were about uh 28 000
battles played throughout our beta test and uh the medium time that a player spent uh in our beta test
is about 17 hours and 20 minutes so we we made the beta test uh really quite challenging i i personally
i didn't even beat it once and um so you kind of generated a little bit of buzz uh among the players you
know about a strategy you know what you need to because we have these classes uh you know the tank
class the warrior class the main class uh we have we have specific specific names for them but i'll just
uh classify them as that it's easier to understand so you have to use these uh different classes uh
strategically and then the turn-based battle and then you know one and we didn't just have one wave of
enemies we had uh actually three waves waves of enemies so uh uh when when i first play it it was
actually really surprising for me because i didn't know how hard they made it and then you created such
a buzz among players you know the uh they want to they talk about it in the community you know how to
beat it but once somebody publish a video about how you can beat the game in 20 minutes i mean in 12 minutes
15 minutes then everybody saw it and then suddenly the game it became easy i think that's how it is
right you know because uh socially if you see it and then you know somebody shows you how to play it
and then you you get the hang of it and then it became it became something else and then so we want
to try to try to create more challenges uh for the players and then of course our our developers
they're they're you know much hardcore you know gamer than i think i am uh i i i try to find time to
play whenever i can but nowadays i really don't play as often but these guys that i work with they just
play whenever they can so yeah i i hope we we really hope to bring that you know into the web 3 space
uh since not just game two the you know that which was what the bid that has was about it's also game
one which we're going to make it not into just you know a web page game it's going to be you know you're
going to see the universe you're going to see the planets uh you know if you don't want to uh so our nfts
are also uh uh you know supplementary to to our gameplay so we have mac nft collections so you should
so you buy these uh specialized macs and you can use them in our game and they will have different
special uh attributes unique attributes they will give you advantages and then we also have an nft
collection called alpha prestige and that's more or less like a vip pass so you know whenever there's
a competition a contest going on uh you want to you know win more tokens or you want to win a better
max you know if you have these infinite vip passes there's a higher possibility for you to win them
and then we're not we haven't uh released any of any of the planet nfts yet because uh we're uh
you know the order is supposed to be game one game two game three but we are but game two is where
you know 90 80 80 90 of our development is focused on so we're making max so that's what our nft
has been about so far but a little bit down further down the line uh planet nfts is also going to come
out and then for the uh for the players that want to actually you know buy them they they can they
have the ability to but for the players that don't want to spend much uh a lot of money on nfts you
know uh like i mentioned before so there's going to be moons uh surrounding these planets that players
can actually rent you know you rent them and then so you'll be able to uh enter the game and play
without having to pay the full price of nft so stuff like that you know right now everything so
far besides nfts you know the farming of tokens everything is free we want to try to you know
uh get this uh to reach as many people as possible uh without putting a burden on them
but then but then if they actually you know try it for themselves and they really like it you know
they want to uh put money in there you know of course they are more than welcome to
and then if they do they're going to be become a value uh member of our community and then
they will win more you know from doing that and uh yeah that's what what our game or game
experience the project is about for me thank you
amazing thank you for that daniel that's very uh very in depth very very great to see what you guys
are building over there and how it kind of touches on the core mechanics of gameplay um over to you
marvin what was your kind of inspiration for gaming growing up and how have you guys kind of implemented
that within katana in you well a good question as well i love that um honestly um i started also
everyone like us as a child um with tetris and other games pokemon then in playstation 1 with
commander conquer 2 and going to pc with every empires 1 and 2 and other strategy games um after that
walking over to more computer games um like 2003 it was with contra strike before it was with
zilk road i think you guys know it it's like what a warcraft game um others game are inspiration me a
lot um especially like both of warcraft games um so if i i'm the founder of katana inu and if i make
a game i will never make a game that i would never play by myself because then it's it's it's not
passion anymore so it's just making money so i don't like that so i like to do something what i would love
to play and what's what's for myself it's inspiring me um even i'm also enemy um lover so watching over 100
enemies since since long time even today if i have time my looking enemies i know i am 34 years old
but you will never be old to old for enemies so if you are lover and then it's it's normal
however um i mean i watched naruto i think it's a japanese game everyone knows it um this also inspired
me a lot because there's also a game like shinobi striker it's a game and also similar not
similar like 35 percentage like katana inu so you can walk and run and um fight others and make some
magic attacks and you know shoot fire and so on but still the game mechanism is not that good than
other than ours um other other combination of what i love even counter strike i'm also big fan i was also
a very good gamer not pro gamer but similar to pro gamers um the the feeling that you play game
that makes you excited to to feel the game itself it's like you are you are in the game itself and
playing this game these kind of things inspirating me a lot um and even with world of warcraft and
then fortnite i've never played fortnite by the way but i just watch it videos and so on i know
already how it's uh feeling apex legend and so on also played and so for for this reason i i did then
decided to make a game but before i wanted to make a game like like uh stylized stylized graphics
but i said if if i if i make a game like stylized then i only get one audience for that you know
but if i think like fortnite apex legend and csgo and so on they have a bit like more semi or like
realistic graphics and if i go to esports but we also will do like one-on-one and maybe six on six
and then battle royale mode will also come soon maybe next year um however i mean this kind of this
kind of style of the game which which fill you that you are in the game itself and run and jump and
shoot and with the sword fighting this give you the game experience itself by the way i'm also did six
years of muay thai and i love jackie chan and so on and um of course it has nothing to do with um
those games but but if i was in the ring then i feel everything you know so you are fighting one
one-on-one and so on and this kind of things um give me the inspiration to make a game
that that will give you the power or the energy to play a game that you can feel by um in real so
because if you jump you jump by yourself with them with a with a thumb thumb whatever or with your mouse
but if you shoot and you need to you need to hide or go left there with dash left and right and
um not get hit it whatever so this gives you the the real power that that it's it's like it's like
you are ending in the game right now you know of course you are not you are not a vr or something in
your in your head but still if you play katana inu i think you guys will understand what i mean um
on contest right you will you cannot feel that honestly so you don't see your body
you just see your um you know just see the the weapon whatever and world of warcraft already you
cannot you are the experience of world warcraft is not that that fast you know it's slow you can just
make one jumping and really like 50 centimeter or something but katana you can double jump and even
double jump and make grab hooking um i think it's hard to explain that um however um yeah i think the
gaming experience um this is like very important to me and also give the the feeling that the people
feel it that feel how they're playing if they play with five on five with three and three like hiding and
hide and seek and camping whatever other things we will implement it for esports as well and yeah so
i'm still i'm not i'm not playing anymore any games so since i don't know three four five years i stopped
to play games because i have children family and work and so on i skipped it and the good thing is that
if i working 12 14 hours a day on katana inu i feel like i am playing a game because it makes fun to do
what i do and this is more important um for myself that i i have a balance for myself because people
are good burn out if they work too much you know then but they do the work because i don't like to
work so and then they get burned out that's why they need to balance like need to go to gym or need
to go to play a game whatever but if i work 14 hours a day i never get burned you know so it's like
it's like the game itself so i feel what i do and it makes fun what i do um yeah um this these are
all things i hope i could answer the question or probably i shift it up a bit more to on the way
however i thank you for listening
that's awesome thank you for that marvin yeah i'm actually a big uh big fan of martial arts myself
that was a big part of my childhood growing up and there's definitely is a very strategic component
into that so i very much aligned with that very cool uh over to you perhaps any any inspirations
for gaming right so you know like growing up in early 90s i was uh i came across pc games uh only
until like mid of 2005 somewhere around that and uh that time uh the game that really you know i was
found up was uh prince of persia signs of time uh a couple of other prince of persia games uh
found a strike and uh then when i entered my graduation i got found of dota 2 a lot i used to
have uh i used to be in a relationship that time and basically i got so much addicted to dota 2 that i
started playing 18 hours a day and uh till now i have clocked like more than 31 000 hours which is
sort of years of time on my steam for uh dota 2 and that is one strategic game which uh i still
you know fear to download again like i stopped playing in 2019 and uh i mean it was something i
got really addicted to other than that need for speed carbon most wanted underground was some of
the early games i was very fascinated about and i think uh a mixture of all of them have come into
race racing being uh so we have actually some power-ups inside the game race racing where cars
nitros is something you know which almost all racing games have but we also have missiles where
you can shoot your opponents and transform your cars into robots so these are a couple
of uh in-game utilities of nfts uh which is there inside the game and i think they have incorporated
everything uh then you know you can bet on the tokens money and you can free like you have a free
to play option as well so sort of uh that inspiration uh stood there i think and race racing is just a
by-product of it and we are very happy uh to launch race racing tomorrow uh considering uh like how far we
have come in last 15 months and i think uh we're gonna we have a long way to go and onboard uh more
than 100k users uh this year and definitely i think this is something which will be a breakthrough in
the equity space uh being a racing game i think uh like we always took the responsibility to you know
provide uh the best graphics the best ui which is uh plausible for both web 2 and web 3 users
and the connectivity which is through social logins uh wallets web 3 metamask everything is integrated
in the game and uh sort of proud of now proud of it now like from you know what we have built in the
last 15 months this is great stuff guys we are all very excited to see you know what you guys are
going to bring to market in the next couple of months um all kind of moving in the right direction
um and and i think i i i i can say for myself and certainly for our community that you know we're very
much looking forward to seeing you guys on telos and i i think a lot of people are going to be excited
with the products that you're bringing forward uh with that being said i think for the sake of time
we will close this panel today so i want to thank everyone for you know taking the time to come here
and share a little bit of your world and what you've been working on um we do this once a month we host
you know monthly thought leadership panels uh last couple months have been focused you know mainly
primarily on gaming but we do switch it up we do sometimes have you know infrastructure talks we do
sometimes talk about um other related things and when it comes to building in web3 and and and
challenges and and visions and things like that um so we invite you guys to check back we will start
planning out for our next um our next panel discussion at the end of july and for you guys tuning in um
we we will have more information um regarding our gamestop collaboration there is an open call right now
if you are a builder in this space and you have a game that is within open beta we highly recommend
that you visit our website telos.net we do have a a open forum where you submit your game um our team
will review it and and if it's something that you know aligns with with what we want to tell us then
it could potentially be a project that we push forward um on top of that this friday we will also have a
town hall um one of the first town halls uh quite a bit actually and and the need for this uh is is is
it's kind of big you know for for the past month really i i guess we've had the game stop partnership
for about a month and you know a lot of us have had our heads down in it trying to plan trying to
organize for what's coming um and and we want to take this opportunity to to kind of dive into the
partnership kind of break break it down from all different angles from you know operations to bd to
marketing and and give you guys a little bit of an inside scoop on on on kind of kind of what we're
building now and and what you can kind of look forward to as well as you know um how this kind
of all came about so it's going to be a a very interesting discussion uh we have it penciled in for
this friday uh june 30th it will be on use a youtube live stream so highly encourage you guys to come
and check it out um with that being said i'll kick it off to jeff for any last words
yeah thanks for walking through all that peter uh really good to see kind of everybody's uh you
know favorite games and how that's influenced what you feel i don't know if anybody's seen
the super mario's brother but that crash band raccoon golden eye those are also my top ones
and um and you know to kind of bring this all together if you look at what we're doing with
game stop right we're targeting the projects really focus on user acquisition beta we want to build that
retention all the panels we have today they have effectively done that they're in process for that
and we'd love to support anybody you know that has a similar mindset and um you know i'll just give it
over to all the speakers just to share any final call to action in closing statement they all have a
platforms that are coming live are live currently in some sort of beta and so you know feel free to
kind of share how users can get involved today and uh and really appreciate you guys coming on today

so thanks jim oh man thank you guys thank you guys not just coming on today but really building
