Alright, it looks like we've got Merrick and Tin. If folks, good to go.
>> Yes. >> Hey, everyone. >> Ready when you are. >> Right on. Hey, everybody, welcome to our Twitter space is talking about Cellul 2.0 and the 2023 roadmap. We are very excited to talk
with you. I'm Eric from the Cellophondation. We've got Eric, a co-founder of Cello and Tim Morton from CLabs. And we are really excited to kick this off. Tim, Eric, want to share a quick word and then let's go.
Sure, yeah, it's really great to be here starting off this year together with all of you. Yeah, we've been head down over the last few months working on this roadmap, so we're really excited to share it with you and yeah, we're just really excited for the year ahead.
Hey everybody, I'm Tim, Cee Labs. This whole process has been an incredible journey already. We've been talking to, we've had literally hundreds of conversations with developers, builders, both.
in and outside of the cello ecosystem, the Ethereum ecosystem and just people thinking about dipping their toe in Web 3 and trying to figure out what matters to them and what's important and also just looking back and realizing just how much
How much of the original solo vision we've managed to accomplish as a community and really wanting to maximize their opportunity and set the most ambitious roadmap for the next steps.
Right on yeah, I actually agree this this has been a long time coming I'm very exciting to see the recent post that you folks made and you know when I look at the outline of The road map it really kind of what comes to mind to me is an evolution change something new
You know, Sello just had a brand new rebrand. We've got the the bright I don't know what color it is. It's like a yellow green to me. I love it. I love the color. We got a new rebrand for the community and very exciting, you know, new developments and You know where we're at right now. It is an evolution into something
something that's new and what's coming and we're going to talk about that. But maybe we can talk a little bit about the vision of Cello and how we got here and maybe some of the wins along the way. Mary, you want to talk a little bit about, since you were here from the beginning, where we are today and where we're going.
Yeah, absolutely. I took a glance over the white paper again the other day and what really struck me is just how much of that white paper vision has been implemented, kind of five years on. Obviously the white paper focused a lot on
on the ability to exchange stable value really easily with anyone in the world using mobile phones as identifiers. And that's been something that I think since it's mainnet launch two and a half years ago, we've kind of delivered on. But if you look further,
There's elements of community currency being discussed there, which now we're seeing more and more of on the cello platform, you've got a collective, you've got a resource dollar. There's just a, every day I hear of a new, not every day, every week I should say sorry, I hear of a new
you effort that is thinking about trading a new community currency somewhere. And so that's been really rewarding to see. The white paper also talked about some of these currencies being backed by natural capital. And of course now with kind of our really exciting
growing RIFI ecosystem. It's much easier for these currencies, for these either regional currencies or community currencies to be backed by natural capital. And already we're seeing, you know, mental stablecoins backed in part by RIFI assets. And of course, collectivo, the collectivo.
of a builder is also one of these currencies with these natural capital backing. And so that's been just incredibly heartwarming to see. And then finally, we had, if you search for social dividend in the white paper, you'll see that we've been
