If you heard that, I'm just doing some...
voodoo magic to try and restore order to the crypto universe. But
before we do that. We've got some wonderful guests on today's AMA. So let's kick it off. GMG, A-G-N, G, whatever. So if you'd like to throw on the end of that, thank you all so much for joining us here today. We have the wonderful team.
from CITLAB NFT. They are going to tell us all about how we can stop getting rogued every single time we go on a certain website which I may or may not be allowed to mention to buy our favorite concert tickets to the next Weird Out concert or to
glass and debris or whatever concept you want to go to and end up getting too drunk and just not remembering it anywhere. So we have the wonderful seat lab I believe is Ryan and we have RSK1.near which I believe is
Jack from Sea Love NFT. Guys, let me know if I got that right away. We're going to introduce ourselves. It's the wrong way, but we'll let you off. I'm on the official account. Ryan is RSK1, which is the director. Great to be with you.
How's it going David? I'm doing good. Well, all right. I'm not gonna lie. You're a bit better. All right. I've been better. Yeah, so what a week is. Yeah. Yeah, there's no words for it. But thank you for the
intro there. I think we can all agree with Tick-O-Gay and RIPF off with Ticket Fees. Hopefully we're here today to shed some light on how we plan to stop that, yes? Yeah, 100% guys. Just before we dive into it, I just want to say, despite everything that's going on,
People like you, Ryan, Jack, people like every single person listening, everybody developing in the near ecosystem and beyond. But we're still here because we still have conviction, right? And we are 100% sure of the future that we all want to see.
and CLAB NFT is going to play a part of that no doubt because I'm sick of getting ripped off. Why don't you guys go ahead and give us a quick intro about yourselves, about the project, and then we can talk in detail about NFT ticketing and what it means for the average consumer.
Sounds good. So yeah, I've started a bit of background on Jack and I in the team. So Jack and I first started working together a number of years ago now. Well, it feels like forever, but probably about seven years. We started in the digital marketing field. We were working quite heavily in the event sector, so we were responsible for
marketing campaigns and website software development for events clients among others, but we quite enjoyed working the events industry. It turns out we knew a thing or two about how to sell tickets. So yeah, we just got quite popular in that sector and then of course off the back of that we were using all the big dominant ticket and players that you've all heard of.
And yeah, obviously we saw these issues, you know, even back then. It was just, yeah, it was nothing was nothing was perfect. You know, it was either the fees were too high or you couldn't customize it or you know, for whatever reason we just thought there wasn't like a good, there was there's good solutions, but there wasn't a perfect solution that sort of fit, everyone's needs. So about five
years ago now or maybe going before and a half, Jack and I decided to build our own ticket and platform. Today we call C-Lab, so we have the C-Lab and C-Lab NFT. It's very, it's opposite to what we're building now really, it's very much a white label ticketing infrastructure products rather than a marketplace. But yeah, we're
We grew that to a decent size, work with clients all over the world in different sectors. We were just sort of trying to chip away at the industry that we loved, but we're also, yeah, sort of under attack from bad players, really, and high fees, and it's a lack of innovation, I suppose. Yeah, and fast forward to now, I think.
I think Jack and I both, I guess you could call us semi-blockchain fanatics really, we've always had a big love for, yeah, certainly cryptocurrency, more recently, NFT technology. And we just thought, do you know what, this technology, the pictures are monkeys are cool, but this text actually, you know, it can solve some real, real big problems in the ticket industry.
So yeah, we merged all our sort of knowledge and passion together and yeah, here we are today building C-lab NFT. Yeah, we sort of gone from this like web to ticket and come to more this like web 3 immersive fan engagement platform and because all obviously you get all this functionality with an fts like and the air drops
function and the royalty splits and everything. It's like, we're creating a platform for the fans now, not just for the artists, so it's like everyone's a winner, I think. So yeah, just makes table sense to sort of take a bit of the web to, take a bit of the web through and just make more of a co-easy platform, really.
Really guys, you know, I never knew that you started well before all the bloodshed of that. That's so interesting. Just before we dive into, into all the NFTs and the Paris
