Just talking about the anniversary of chimpers let's get the game
started um but yeah other side dot xyz him is glued to his um his procreate tablet uh he is
you know designing non-stop um listen one day he's gotta get in here he does he does but like uh he'll be in trouble
i know i know to be fair he just needs to jump in but tempers hasn't shaved in five months
dupes he's not gonna come here yeah that's a good point um seriously he is he is grinding so hard
um but seriously he is he is grinding so hard like he's just working on so much stuff
never stops um yeah he he doesn't stop at all so yeah
he's he's definitely a legend is there anything we should be expecting uh on the horizon from
tempers or chimpers in general or is he just kind of working heads down uh he's done
so many great pieces i mean board eight chronicles so many different art pieces across the board and
uh after you answer that question i do want to touch on the chimpers new art style that i don't
think we touched on in our last bubble uh since we were playing blitz but is there something on
the horizon that we should keep our eyes peeled out for Timpers or maybe Chimpers in general?
Yeah, definitely.
I mean, the interesting thing is, like, it all started with pixels for Timpers.
I'd say in 2023, when we went on that path to, you know, creating our new branding and the Kawaii Chimps, the social media, all of that good stuff.
Ever since then, it's just been him learning that process as well.
He's always been an illustrator as well,
but getting that sort of anime, kawaii style has been something that he's been practicing.
So funnily enough, he's not actually been placing a lot of pixels,
but to be fair, he's just been heads down building
all sorts of stuff from GIFs to our online shop that's launching.
He's designed the full collection of apparel and accessories that's going to be launching here very soon.
And working on the Collector Hub, which is launching also this month,
which is a place for the community to see their holdings
see their collection and getting pins and badges and all sorts of fun stuff and he's been grinding
on that as well so he's working on a bunch of different things but he's sort of shaped into a
creative director role and yeah as i said like not really placing pixels
he does in his spare time but you know for the most part he's just working on the branding you
know brand guides style guides online shop collector hub um social media posts yeah you
know he's doing the full lot so he busy and I think you know loving it more than
ever to be honest because he's very much involved you know you know full full stop so yeah you know
the shop as I said is a coming that's something to stay tuned for the collector hub is you know
something that will be launching this month we're super
hyped for because that's not only going to be um you know a one-stop stop for you know your
collection and just putting nfts first in the whole ecosystem but also a place for rewards so
we'll be having quarterly reward seasons uh chimp holders will be able to participate in those as
well um and it's the sort of part two of what we just launched over last week,
which was our World Hub website.
We've sort of compiled the whole ecosystem, the story, the journey,
all of the brands, activations, the NFTs, everything in one website.
And we've just been meaning to do that for quite a long time
because everything's been sort of all over the place.
And that was part one, and, you know, the Collector Hub is part two.
So, thanks for that.
And, of course, it's a part of, you know, this jigsaw puzzle
that we've been sort of alluding to on our tweets is this year,
we've just been, you know, really heads down on the line in the ecosystem so
why chimps and the launch of that as you said we didn't touch on it last week but that was a big
art upgrade um and you know it's a big change because you know pimpers and chimp has always
been known for the pixel art but as i said you know, since 2023, the infrastructure, the underlying brand across, you know, everywhere else has been, you know, that illustrated Kauai style.
And for us, there's always been a disconnect and we've always been, you know, really struggling to try and bridge that gap.
And Kauai Chimps was the perfect way of doing that because obviously Chimpy is our mascot.
Kauai Chimps are our branding everywhere and what you know the majority of the chimpers
fans know us by um so giving the holders the opportunity to have both styles on open sea
was really important um and the kawaii chimps you know go in front facing it just felt like the
perfect way to build that cohesion build that sort of recognition and also thinking about the long
term as we start to bring in fans into web3 and on board people they need to be met by a cohesive
brand and of course you know they're seeing social media and the kawaii chimps are just the perfect way to, you know, bridge that gap.
So, yeah, it was huge.
And one thing that we got was that people were freaking out thinking that, you know, the pixels are gone forever.
But they're actually in the OpenSea carousel and you can swap between them.
And on the Chimpus Collector Hub that will be launching, you can rock both of them, whichever is your preference.
And I think that's the beauty of it.
There's that option now to rep the Chimpers Kawais
or rep the Chimpers Pixels.
And it just opens up a huge new layer of discoverability,
especially for those who aren't always Pixel Maxis
but love the Chimpers brand.
The Kawaii Chimps open that sort of door
now um and yeah you know it just it feels good to have got a bunch of these big updates you know out
the out the gate and just feeling a lot more aligned and cohesive all together really
i i love to hear it man and big congrats to tempers for stepping into that creative directive role I know it's a you know it has to be somewhat a blessing to be able to step into a position like that for a project that you love so much for something that you've created yourself and I know he's going to continue crushing it as he's been doing on the branding side on the art side and yeah you know you guys have been uh creating this this ecosystem for your community
and i think the collector's hub puts an amazing bow on that like you said the one-stop shop for
people with their nfts and i think you you know kind of alluded to it that there's going to be
other opportunities uh for you maybe to win rewards or you know feel participate feel like
you're participating in a greater thing through that collector's hub um which i think you know is incredible and yeah i mean personally to me i've loved pixel art i think i fell more in love
of through uh with pixel art through the web3 space you know through things like crypto punks
through so many amazing artists and uh to me the the kawaii version or i'm not sure if i'm
pronouncing it right of the of Chimpers specifically, really hits.
Like, he feels like a cartoon character, a, you know, something I can make memes with, something I can create content with.
While I think the Pixel Chimpies is great, and you can do that too, the Kawhi version just, I think, feels so aesthetically pleasing to me personally.
So, you guys are definitely correct. Yeah, it's exactly that.
I forgot to mention, I think that was another reason why it was so important.
Creators especially, it makes it so much easier, especially in the age of AI content.
It's so much easier to utilize your Kawaii Chimp and create fun assets, build story.
chimp and create you know fun assets build story um and yeah you know one of the the big updates
especially on the world hub now is that every single chimp is nft as well as the kawaii and
pixel it actually has its own backstory its own name and you know all 5555 chimps have their own
music track as well and all of that has been made possible by the
underlying story the ancient chronicles and the genesis chimpers who are like the
heroes and villains of our world they have their own backstory and it sort of coalesced into this
sort of uh story that underpins the whole world and we was able to with the ai uh you know look at each
individual chimp their traits you know picture how they sort of melded into that story and now you
know the the nfts themselves are no longer just static jpegs they have a name they have a story
they have music and it's all very special and unique to your individual nfts so again like just
a huge new layer of content and ways to connect with your with your chimp as well which is really
cool i love it man i love it um i'm guessing i'm assuming tempers did the art for that, right? Or was it someone else? That's Tempers art as well.
So the Kawaii Chimps was actually from Katis and Lulu.
They're the artists who are on our team, and they were originally community members.
They created fan art, so they created trailers and fun stuff back in 2022.
And we loved it so much that we brought them on to create more,
especially for announcements, for big much that we brought them on um to create more like especially for
like announcements for you know big news that we was launching they'd help create stuff with us
um and from there uh obviously um huge sort of reason for why we went down the kawaii path
they're from south korea they created chimpy mascot. And, you know, they were the sort of the guys to help us start creating social media content.
And, yeah, that's sort of where it all began from Cataston Lulu.
And from that sort of came the idea over the time that, you know, we need to build this
time that you know we need to build this for the full collection um and yeah they're you know at
for the full collection.
the very top with timpers like you know collaborating creating but um yeah they're they're the dream
team and they're responsible for the traits so they created all you know a couple hundred traits
i think 300 or so for the full collection um and yeah sort of put it all together and generated it all for
all the chimps um so yeah timpers has been playing catch up since then as i said it's just been like a
real learning curve for him like he's always been quite versatile like he illustrated prior to pixel
art but you know picking up catis and l Lulu's style has been like his sort of mission
and now he's you know uh completely proficient in that and is you know creating all sorts with them
together but yeah funnily enough those kawaii traits that you know we see now in the collection
they've been in the process for maybe two years, like just on and off, because we always thought that we'd, you know, get around to it,
but things come up and it, you know,
gets pushed down the priority ladder.
But yeah, they've been, you know,
picking it up and, you know, on and off for the past two years.
So been in the process for a while.
I love it, man.
And, you know, I love that you guys brought in, you brought in members of the community to work on that art.
I think something pretty magical in Web3 when you're able to bring in community members that truly care about the brand, are passionate about something, to kind of work on that thing that they're passionate about.
I think you can unlock and tap tap on to some you know incredible work
incredible energies there uh so super beautiful to hear um and yeah i tried to send chimpers to
the moon so that was the plan the chimpers were going to the moon we're going to still go to the
moon today uh but i tried to go with the bubble and it does not look like we can get any higher so
uh we'll get there soon uh insight i appreciate the deep breakdown you
know love to hear the updates from the you know chimpers ecosystem and all the dope things you
guys are working on uh while we have insight here is there anyone as the speaker in the audience that

is the the new site and yeah i mean the arcade games are there um it's just a whole bunch of
stuff like they'll be treating it as like a community hub that like outlines the history
it's like the perfect onboarding vehicle for anybody that joins. But at the same time, highly iterative as well.
Like, Artist is just constantly adding new updates.
Over the weekend, we added a quiz so that you can actually answer some questions,
and it shares what your forever chimpers might potentially be, if you were to pick one up.
And a whole music sort of section as well
for all of the chimpers you can see like the the rankings of chimps what's the most viewed chimp
the the highest rarity all sorts of fun stuff so yeah world.chimpers.com is where it's all
happening and if you're interested in going down that rabbit hole
you know that is the the perfect place to go to because it's um
absolutely everything that you could possibly think of
yeah no it's it's an awesome website with lots of like really good content um
and uh yeah there's just so much for you know in terms of chimpers for people to go
and explore i mean it would take you days and days just to even go and go through all this stuff
