We got featuring two amazing legends, Atabody and Clay Jean.
It's going to be a blast, and I'm excited.
We started this metaverse idea up a couple months ago,
and just getting to work with the COC team and everyone over there,
as well as these two amazing legends down at Zaochella with a lot of what we
did for the first time, meeting and performing together. We thought it'd be really cool to be
able to potentially bring that to the virtual world, bring that to some of the folks that
couldn't be there with us in Miami, see these two amazing legends perform, also be able to grab some
of that content and be able to to share it out a
little bit and showcase what we can do in the virtual world and how many people we can get
together from this um amazing space uh all in one place even though we're we all exist in different
places across the world so um yeah i don't know mickey if you're back in the the telegram we can't
really hear you i think if you go over to spatial um so
if you want to share a few words as well um you're welcome to um and then we will get started

Awesome. Okay, so I am another instrumentalist. I don't do any vocals.

So I'm an instrumentalist as well.
I don't do any vocals, but I do have narrations in the back of my music.
So I'm going to be playing a little bit of that for y'all as well as the Native American flute. I'm a multi-instrumentalist so I play a little bit of like a lot of things but for this
performance I'm gonna be playing my new flute I just got in Colorado in Breckenridge.
I've been loving this thing it has been kicking ass and doing kind of
everything I wanted to do. And then I also have my keyboard here so you guys can see what I'm
doing over there. But yeah, I play, you know, quite a few things. I play the flute, I play the guitar,
I play piano. I was first a composer and that kind of led me into my whole music thing because I
wanted to be a film composer. And so I learned a little bit about everything. I learned about brass instruments, I learned about woodwind instruments, strings, all in an effort to kind of, you know, learn more
and so you can compose better for them. And so I was actually going to school for music and
everything and I got sick, had to drop out of school and on top of that just a lot of things piled up on me
and we found out after five years that I had lupus which for you guys who don't
know it's an autoimmune disorder it's where your antibodies start attacking
your own body it attacks your lungs your kidneys your heart your liver it's it's
pretty brutal but one of the big things about learning about it is like knowing
that you have it and when you know that you have it, it's like a particular set of things that you got to do.
And once you got that down pack, which I've been doing for, well, I was diagnosed in 2016.
So almost 10 years now, I've been learning to live my life and relive my life to live with it and not against it.
And so one of the big things that I picked up while being, you know, and I felt like
the deathbed for me, but you know, it was pretty rough at certain times. And I had to stop playing
a lot of instruments. I was really big into saxophone was another big one that I played a lot.
And it became really hard on my lungs to play it. And so I had to give that one up, as well as a whole slew of other instruments
that I just couldn't play anymore.
And so, yeah, Native American flute, actually,
I picked it up because, one, I fell in love with the sound
as I heard it for the first time.
But then after that, I ended up getting one for myself
and playing it and found out, to my great surprise,
that it's very easy on the lungs to play.
You don't have to put much pressure out at If anything, if you put too much pressure,
you'll make a nasty sound. So it's very, very gentle on the lungs. In fact, many people use it to help repair their lungs. It helps their breathing and everything. So it's a very
healing instrument to play it and to hear the sounds. And so it's like, that's a big part of my
performance is like imparting some of those healing sounds to you everybody
but I also like to get pretty exciting you know I like I like fun music I'm a
product of the internet myself and so I feel fun is a part of medicine too and
how it's a healing thing in itself so I like to do a little bit of everything so
I recently just got back into
live performing too. My first one officially would be like last year in Zalpalooza. And for those
who don't know, I'm one of the founders of the Zal. It stands for Z Talent Artist Organization.
That's part of everyone who's putting everything on here in spatial as well as the COC, the
community of communities. Just wanted to thank everybody so much for you know for our communities coming together and collaborating on this
um so that's one cool thing but not to diverge too much my first like performance getting back
and actually doing something as an artist um was in last year in April of 2023, or excuse me, 2024. Anyways, so now I really started getting my set together this last
December, and since then I've gotten my set up to 40 minutes, and I'm still cranking it up.
I have a lot of music. I've been making music since 2006, and so I have over hundreds of tracks
because it just builds up after time, but not all my tracks were my artistry.
And what you guys are going to hear is more of what I'm trying to do as an artist
because, like I was saying before, I wanted to be a film composer.
So I've done a lot of custom music, a lot of stuff for animations,
a lot of stuff like orchestral music.
But as an artist, I really like to lean in more to EDM
because, you know, who doesn't like some of that stuff?
And it's always been a huge joy of mine.
I also like trap, I like hip hop,
I like a lot of different things.
So you'll hear a lot of those notes
and a little bit of what I do.
And so, yeah, so for those who never heard
the Native American style flute,
I'll give you a little snippet of that now.

so yeah it's a it's very has that haunting dark sound, and so, but it's also gentle
and lovely, and I just love the way it sounds, and I put it in my music all the time.
So this has been my companion for a little bit now, and yeah, so let's just get into

So the first track I got was something that's a bit of a fun one.
And this one is one I just made as part of pulling my setup and getting some cool things doing.
But it's called Atta Body Flying. And you know, because because again a lot of people hear attaboy,
they hear at a bot or something, it's at a body like an at a body experience. So
this track right here is called Atta Body Flying and I hope you guys enjoy it. The start of a journey inside of this town, In rhythms of the city, my soul is unbound.

This one is particularly, it's dedicated to actually when I was in my hardest times, I, you know,
I had to take some altered pathways.
There was things that I couldn't do that I used to do.
And I had to really accept that and do the work inside of myself to, you know, realize
that and to, you know, again, learn how to take it in a different way and use it as a
positive.
And, you know, one of the things
that happened with my illness is that it caused me to really slow down and think of things. It
caused me to do a lot of shadow work. It caused me to look inside of darker spots that I was scared
to look at before. And now it's one of the things that I feel is kind of like my superpower that,
you know, I can look behind the curtain and I can go into those spots. And then I can also accept
all the different parts of life, you know, for the most part, because I haven't lived my whole life.
But there's this sense of that looking behind the curtain, looking into the shadow, is something that I actually have grown to enjoy as it's a new adventure.
And so this one right here is called Altered Pathways, and it's dedicated to the altered pathways that I've had to take because of my illness.

okay before we get into that one just wanted to you know even give a little shout out or you know
just some like if you heard anything in through the song just the for instance like playing the
guitars and all that stuff there was a whole instrumental that i did um you know almost all of that was live tracked and uh whether it's like the guitar
different sounds but um right before then i actually came out of recovery for a tennis elbow
um on my on my uh on my elbows obviously but uh the tennis elbow it took about six months for me to recover so
that track i was able to make it after like six months of my elbows like and doing physical
therapy to get them back in order um because they were just messing up hardcore and i couldn't i
couldn't do it it was just it would mess me up really crazy to play me the guitar so i did a
lot of strengthening to be able to play that and so that was like actually I think not the first or second track that I did after you know
getting back into it and starting to play the guitar again so you know
sometimes I have to take breaks from instruments I can't just like go on it
and get back into it I have to like you know like just right now I got like a
lump under my tongue we don't know where it came from it actually has a lot to do
because I have another type of lupus tube called strojans. It's another big thing, but you get like all kinds of different
infections. And so we think it's an infection of my saliva gland and it's like big old bowl under
my tongue. And so like now I've been having to take it easy with my tongue and it sounds weird,
but it's actually really important to me because like I whistle and I also do a lot of things with the woodwind instruments, and so I have to do different things to not push my tongue too much.
And, you know, it's just always one thing after another, so that's like a little thing with the lupus and everything.
But, yeah, so let me get back on to space. Let's see how everyone's doing over there.

That's part of my new set that I put together, particularly for, it was called The Eternal Rhythms.
And it was a whole show that got me, Clay Jean, Creatress, my wife, and Maximilian.
We were like a whole crew that we got a grant to go out to perform at the Nolcha shows for the opening night of,
opening ceremony, I should say, for ETH Denver.
And it was such an honor and a huge pleasure,
but I had to get quite a bit of music composed out for that.
So that's part of my new track sort of unreleased that, you know,
I've just been, you know, they're all kind of little eternal rhythms.
It's a whole, like, big, long set.
But they're in the midst of having creative things being done to them
because I've been working with some other creatives.
So the track is still under development, but yeah, they're basically all eternal rhythms or part of eternal rhythms.

what's that fire effect it's probably just reverb or if you're talking about
because I do some new techniques that's what I was saying this flute I can push
it a lot more.
So I've been able to do techniques I can do on the saxophone.
The other one's a lot more gentle. It's a very soft flute, so it's sensitive.
But this one I can really hammer into.
One of the things I can do is call it a growl, where I go.
And so there's that, but I can also push it even further and hum as I play
and that kind of gives an extra umph to it um so yeah it just depends on how how aggressive you
want the growl to be so I don't know if that's the effect you're referring to
easy but other than that the only thing I have going on here is just some reverb and yeah just
live into you guys. So I hope it's coming through. Let me check to see if that works. Nice awesome.

you know, just a little troubling and I had to figure out how to get my health in order. I've
been exercising a bunch, I've been exercising a bunch.
I've been doing a bunch of things to get everything together.
And so the live performances have been super fun.

Southwest I've met so many incredible people you know like I said
shout out to Third Planet and again shout out so much to the people who put this together COC and
the Zao appreciate you so much thank you so much for providing this platform for me to be able to
tell my story and to you know share all this cool stuff with you guys because yeah it's it's like
so much fun to collaborate so much fun to do all this stuff i mean it's it's great so i'm glad to be here with you guys sharing sharing the story sharing
the music sharing the love um you know it was it's a really cool thing because i actually have
some new stuff to that i've been excited to share about every i can't give away too many details
because we're still figuring them out but you, you know, on my last performance in South
by Southwest, I actually had, you know, it was crazy because the night before I had a pretty
nice crowd. It was popping. We were doing great. For whatever reason, at my time when I performed,
which is actually 12 o'clock, you know, you're expecting, you know, around quite a few more
people to come in. And it was not, you know, it wasn't as big as I, you know, like, especially
like the night
before but there was one person taking footage of me the entire time and showing and like pointing
at me and they were like seemed really interested so i played my heart out to that person and i got
off stage and i gave him a shake of the hand i was you know it's like hey i really appreciate you
enjoying my performance and tuning in and he was like yeah i'd really like to talk with you i think
your music would do really well in europe and would you be interested in a tour long story short he turned
out to be a scouting agent and i totally got scouted in south by southwest and i'm still like
over the moon about it because now we're talking details about me going over to europe and doing
a european tour and you know i just feel so blessed like i said this this started happening
in december and my big goal for this year was to get out and do as
many live performances and just show the world that I'm starting to do this again
I'm in a better spot in my health and then a better spot in many different

and then also i was hoping that we could have uh one of my animations played on the live stream
afterwards because um you know i would have this one set up but you know i got a couple things i'm
still putting my studio together um so this one's not fully, you know, put together where I could perform it. But at the same time,
what's really great about this is that there's an animation that goes with this other song that I
like. It's called Po Reflections. And so for you guys to see the animation, to go along with it,
it's really an audio visual. And I'm actually in the midst of developing a way for us to be able to project this onto a stage prop so that you would always see it every time i perform
because to me it's like the other half of the art you don't see this part you're not seeing it all
and and by the way if you didn't know i'm also a really big into visual art i'm a 3d animator
a 2d animator i'm also a 3d designer and and sculptor so I really heavy into both sides of the art
worlds I work in blender 3d a lot affinity for my graphic design and do a lot of different things
like that so like for Zaocello for instance I did it like over 32 different what was it just me it
was like me with a group of other people we pulled together like 32 different ar activations so i'm really heavy into animation so the main point is that the animation behind this is really
meant to go with the track me and my wife we worked like eight months on it and it's like yeah
really something that is special to me but we're not going to do that one yet we'll do that after
i'm doing my done my live performance um if it's possible, I'd really appreciate that. But this next one is
another unreleased track. It's one that's been going on for about a year. Anybody who's been
in the NFT record shop, you know that like two years ago, they did the spooky sample swap,
which I was a big part of and really enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming together and try to put it into a full track,
but we're still putting the last final touches together, but I'm still performing it live.
It's fun as hell, and just trying to get out the word, because it's seriously one I think
it's so much fun. I haven't done drum and bass in so long, and that's what this is,
and so I hope you guys enjoy this one. It's called, I think it's just called Spooky Sample,
so I don't know what we're going to call it, but it's another cool one. Hope you guys enjoy. I Cause we were deaf from the movie, we were just gin and kick in the bed With no drama, living together in harmony

sharing and also coming together to pull this off i'm super impressed by the stage and everything

upgrading a little bit over here just to make it a little bit more smooth so you can see what's
going on in one camera versus the other so So yeah, more updates, more cool stuff, always building over here.
And again, just to give a little bit more info about the COC and the ZOW,
the ZOW stands for Z Talent Artist Organization.
It's where we help bring profits back to artists and give them opportunities in multiple ways,
whether that's getting them on stage or getting them partnered up
and collaborating with other artists that are on the same realm or
somebody who they could get mentored by. We also do what we can to connect different
agendas or different initiatives. For instance, Wave Wars is another really cool thing that was
started by Hurricane and the Zao got behind him to support him with the different resources that
we have to bring this competition where they put two artists together with like a threes three-on-three
song battle where one artist has three songs the other one has three and then
audience along with judges decides who's the best you know cool initiatives like
that and also can't enough think the CoC for having this together and and and
for us bridging the the gap between our communities to pull this off I think
this is super awesome and fun.
So you see, like, community of communities, you said it.
You know, this is bringing community together, bringing us together, bringing this whole event together.
So I appreciate you all so very much.
