Thank you. Thank you. GM, GM, hey folks.
I'm going to do a quick tech check.
Keep my fingers crossed that everyone can hear me okay?
Yeah, perfect.
It's just always a sigh of relief when Spaces goes with us.
So let's kick things off at about two minutes past nine, just allow everyone to roll in.
I hope everybody's caffeine-fueled and ready for this chat. Thank you. Thank you. because I saw Ant ID as a speaker and then not as a speaker. And I know you've had issues with this account before.
So are you OK this morning?
I am here and good to go. Thank you very much.
OK, OK, awesome. OK, let's kick things off.
So happy Friday, Ant Anots.
I see some of our harbingers here.
Appreciate everybody joining today.
Yeah, I'm fairly delighted, to be honest, because I have some of my team here today.
It's always nice to have other people to chat to for anybody that joins.
I mean, sometimes these calls are just me laughing on my own jokes, which can get a little bit weird.
So I will try to be super efficient.
As everybody knows, you know, I do like to be structured and I prefer to keep these calls short and sweet.
We don't need to rush, but I think it's good to be efficient.
So I think we should be OK for about 30 minutes.
If not, we can obviously go a little bit over, but let's see what we can do.
So we have Jeff, our head of community from Ontology,
who's joining us from our Ont ID Spaces account.
Please go follow.
It's going to be full of everything around decentralized identity.
Jeff's doing a great job of pumping out content there.
We have Dave, CMO from Orange Protocol, and William from Onto Wallet.
So we have a bunch of activations around our seventh anniversary.
It's our birthday, so this is our main launch anniversary.
It's really exciting stuff.
There's a lot of stuff happening.
So I'm going to give you guys a quick intro and then let everybody else go into more detail.
Let's go into more detail.
So we've got a trading campaign.
We also have Staking Raffle, a wide world AI campaign,
which is probably one of my more favorite elements.
Also, we have an OG trader search with Orange Protocol.
Sounds really interesting.
So we'll hear from Dave on that.
But yeah, first up, Jeff, I'm going to bully you again.
First up this morning is yourself.
As I mentioned earlier, I hope you have plenty of caffeine.
I know it's very early, but it makes sense to you again. First up this morning is yourself. As I mentioned earlier, I hope you have plenty of caffeine.
I know it's very early, but it makes sense to just kick off with you this morning.
Yeah, no, no, I'm okay.
I'm coffeed up.
I'm under a little bit of pressure.
I feel like I'm under pressure to laugh at your jokes now. So I'm going to try and spot them and make sure I interact with them.
No, that just makes me sound so sad.
No, no, look, so, I mean, seven years of mainnet is huge in web three and crypto terms, you
know, when we exist in a very exciting space where projects come and go and pivot and do
new things.
And that's all great.
I love it.
But I also think it's really cool to have a project that's been here on mainnet for
such a long time, building out identity, building out staking, all these different things.
So I think that consistency is really important, especially when you're doing foundational things like we do at Ontology for, you know, those packages that enable other projects to build upon.
I think that's really cool. So always excited to see our birthdays roll around. That's excellent.
In terms of the campaigns coming up, some really cool stuff,
right? I mean, I got into Ontology, oh, maybe five years ago. And it was staking that got me
into Ontology. I was looking, I just discovered crypto. I thought I was a super smart person on
investments. And so I was going to do staking instead of just holding tokens and tried lots
of different things. I was baking on Tezos and doing different things and then eventually
settled on Ontology. And they've been very stable in terms of rewards and stable staking structure
for a long time. We've seen lots of improvements in terms of quality of life improvements in terms
of the Explorer for the node staking and information
around APRs and things like this.
And so it's great that we're rewarding people coming into the next round for staking.
So if you start staking when the next round starts, keep an eye on that.
You can then get extra rewards and extra ONG for your efforts on staking.
So that's really cool.
But the big thing that really excites me is because it's been something our community has been asking for for such a long
time uh and it's linked to staking as well but also different things is the the support that
is coming to onto wallet for being able to swap effortlessly between ONG and ONT. So this is, you know, this forms the basis of this trading
campaign. But I think bigger than that, and you can get rewarded for trading and swapping,
and that's brilliant. But I think bigger than that is this is such, again, a quality of life
improvement for people in the ontology ecosystem, just to be able to effortlessly move backwards
and forwards between ONT and ONG within the onto wallet, I think is going to be absolutely brilliant.
Definitely.
And I think, thanks so much for the insight.
And I think just to give everybody a reminder, you know, Jeff has kind of more recently stepped
into our role as head of community, has been kind of leading the charge on a lot of these
community activations and works a lot with our Harbingers who are really there at the
pulse of Ontology to support any new folks or current members of the community to find the guides or find the
information that you you need so jeff what do you think about the wide world campaign
wide world is amazing um we've got our on to naught our friendly on to naught we've been
pushing the on to naught out we've got articles from the on to naught we've got things. I'm currently trying to sort some merchandise for the Ontonaut as well,
which would be really cool. And Wide Worlds really plays nicely into that because it allows our
community to tell stories around the Ontology universe or those different elements of imagery,
that interactivity that is really important in Web3 a lot of the time in the past
i think ontology has been very corporate and very professional and that again is excellent but i
really love the fact that we're just starting to inject a little bit of that web3 humor and fun
and interactivity in there and wide worlds gives us that opportunity to do that and we've seen some
amazing creations from the community some great artwork some great things and I think we can push it further so keep your eyes peeled probably post anniversary stuff
after this next this wide world's um competition that we've got and people can win ONG again for
their artistic endeavors but keep an eye out for what's coming up after that utilizing wide worlds
for a little bit more storytelling a little bit more interactivity and more opportunities to get involved as well in that side of things awesome jeff thank you so much
and yeah rightly so with the ontonaut i mean super friendly i think it just makes ontology seem more
accessible um and it's been really well received from the community so obviously that means we're
doing something great but jeff thank you so much for that and just everybody on the call or that
might tune in later any questions around any of this feel free to reach out to myself, Jeff or Bella. Also, as Jeff mentioned, watch out
for all the content that we're adding to the blog, which is the news section of the website, which we
will be updating to blog. But there's a bunch of content that's just been recently added that Jeff
has created and updated, including staking and also some campaign guides as well. So, yeah, Jeff, thanks so much again for that.
So next we have Dave, who joins us quite a bit to chat about all types of updates around Orange,
including things like reputation and the recent ZKTLS.
So everyone should try and say that super fast.
But Dave is CMO from Orange Protocol.
Dave, what's happening with reputation around this campaign?
Is there anything more you could tell everybody today?
Yeah, I think, first of all, yeah, it's great to be here. Crazy that Ontology has been around
for so long. I joined the space roughly around the same time, 2017, and it was a completely
different landscape at that stage. So to see a project that's, I suppose, not just survived,
but has done really, really well over the kind of constant cycles and bull bear markets and everything we've seen over the last eight years has been pretty crazy.
So, yeah, it's been a lot of fun kind of working in Orange.
We're doing a whole bunch of stuff.
I think probably the big thing we're doing around this, which is a lot of fun, is
helping identify the first ontology trader. At this stage, though, it's questionable whether
they're still alive. It's been such a long time. But we're using Orange's reputation engine,
basically, to figure out who that is, give them a verifiable credential, and then they'll get,
obviously, some rewards that we will share with them at a later date once we've identified that person.
So yeah, it's a small part of the campaign, but definitely quite an interesting one to see if we can find who's the oldest trader, basically, on Ontology, the very first trader.
I feel like that's quite harsh to call it the oldest trader.
to call it the oldest trader.
Okay, cool, Dave.
Thanks so much.
And actually, just so we have you here,
could you just give anybody
that's not 100% familiar with Orange
your usual pitch
or just maybe like a short intro
into Orange Protocol
so everybody knows what's happening?
Yeah, very quick,
very quick intro to Orange.
Yeah, essentially we're the reputation
layer for ontology.
So over the last
kind of i suppose year or so we've been focusing really really hard on building out our data models
for orange so these are like on-chain off-chain actions web 2 web 3 mixed uh that allow people to
generate a humanity score which what we term it which uh measures their reputation how active they
are things that they've done, NFTs they may hold.
Have they voted on Snapchat a lot? Do they have PoApps?
All these sort of things can be done.
We're working with a lot of kind of leading projects in the space
to make kind of orange the definitive reputation protocol.
Awesome. Thank you so much for that.
So, yeah, I guess we'll define it as the OG trader.
Calling people old, it's not very nice, especially on a Friday morning.
But yeah, I appreciate your input, Dave.
And as I said, it's always great to have you on the call.
Okay, cool.
So last, but certainly not least, we have William from the Onto Wallet team.
William, it's great to chat to you
again. I would really love for you to tell the community a little bit more about the trading
campaign but if you could just give an intro into Onto Wallet first and then we can we can go into
the trading campaign information. I'm sorry we lost William for a second.
Let's see if we can get him back.
Okay William, are you good to join?
Are you good to speak?
Can you hear me?
Yes, I can.
Okay, cool.
Thank you so much for joining.
If you could just do a quick intro into yourself on The Wallet,
and then we can jump into some details around the trading element of this campaign.
Yeah, of course.
Sorry, I just got offline and just back on.
And so I'm William, I'm the social media manager of The Wallet,
and he's really happy to be here,
and it's always great to chat with Claire and the team.
And so, well, I've also been in this space for quite a long time
and with the project for quite a bit.
So I think I've seen a lot and been through a lot,
and actually I'm quite proud of the project
that has stood the test of time
and has been in this place for so long.
So currently, I think what AntWallet has achieved so far
that we have over 1.5 million registered users
and also more than 30,000 monthly active users.
I think this speaks a lot about how we position ourselves as the gateway to Work3.
And also, we integrate a lot of the services that our users ask for,
and we also listen to what our users want to have.
And so it's really great to celebrate the 7th anniversary.
And we've got a lot of campaigns as Claire and Joff just introduced.
So just a bit of more detail about the upcoming trading campaign within Onto Wallet.
So this will comprise of a total of 10 USDT worth of assets on Ontology,
and you can share a total of 3000 USDT worth of ONG.
So the price pool is divided into two parts. The first part is that the top 50 traders by trading volume
can share a total of 2,500 USDT worth of ONG.
So make sure that you are on the leaderboard by trading volume.
And another part of the prize pool is there will be 100 eligible wallets selected randomly
And another part of the prize pool is
who will win five USDT worth of ONG each through a raffle.
So this is a very simple trading campaign. And all you need to do is to open your Outer Wallet
and find the trade section.
And then in our in-app swap function,
you swap ONG into ONT and vice versa.
So this new supported trading pair will be available before the camp, the anniversary officially kicks off.
So it will be available very soon.
And so this trading campaign will start from June 30th and it will last for four weeks.
So good luck. And also one note is that once the campaign is live, please make sure that
when you trade, you'll only be eligible if you follow the trading rules and meet the threshold,
which is you have to trade at least 10 USDT worth of assets on Ontology. So that's all I want to share. So good luck and happy trading. Thanks.
Awesome William, thank you so much for that. So just to do a quick recap on what we've kind of
chatted about. We have the really fun kind of interactive kind of more branding elements for
the community to get involved if you're a little bit more kind of on the arts or content, on the content side, all those creatives.
So this is our Wide World campaign. So this is kicked off from June 18th. So the $600 prize pool
there. And then obviously we have, as Williams kind of detailed, we have the Trade Smarter. So
this is really what we're focusing, I guess, like one of the more core elements, I think,
kicks off June 30th and will last for four weeks.
So don't forget there's $3,000 in ONG up for grabs.
But there are stages to this.
So I'd recommend for everybody to check out the guide
that Jeff has created.
It's on Twitter, so there'll be a lot of information there.
And also then we've got Stake to Win.
So yeah, if you're not really interested in trading,
then I mean, it makes sense then just to join Staking, right?
So $2,000 in ONG rewards there.
But again, this kicks off on June 28th.
So this is our consensus round 258.
It's all in the guide.
So make sure that you're keeping track of all of these dates.
And just to take a quick look back,
I mean, seeing as it is Ontology's birthday.
So I joined the team just will be two years in November and was really involved in the
Decentralized Identity Fund which is still available. I mean I've seen Ontology put a
lot of effort into opening up support just to provide folks with the ability to be able to
build. I mean this is something that we've mentioned quite a lot across the team that
Ontology does try to support builders and support the community as well but we've mentioned quite a lot across the team that Ontology does try to support builders
and support the community as well.
But we've taken a lot of feedback from the community
and, you know, we'll continue to learn and develop.
And we're always open to different types of partnerships.
I think you'll notice over the past year,
the team as well has put a lot of effort
into developing the ecosystem.
So we're always launching different types of campaigns
and we will have more partner campaigns coming up soon.
I'm inviting a bunch of our partners to join me over the next couple of weeks
just to do a reintroduction to some of them.
Some of them will be new as well, so it'll be an introduction.
I'll be sharing more details on that with Jeff on social next week
just to give you guys insights and hopefully we can get more people involved in that.
I just want to circle back to everyone to see if
there's anything else that you guys want to add jeff i'll pick on you first because you kicked us
off yeah i guess just to add like you know as well as everything we're doing online we are
much more active in the physical space than we we were maybe a couple of years ago before you
joined claire we didn't do as much in the physical space and over the last couple years we're doing a lot more so we'll be at ECC you can catch it with me if anybody's in Cannes
the week after next you will find me at events and beach bars and around the beach I will promise
to cover up my budgie smugglers so people don't have to look at me too much but if anybody wants
to catch up and talk about decentralized identity I'll be catching up with some partners down there and seeing people and working on different things we can do in the ecosystem.
We're sponsoring a side event talking about gaming and probably going to be talking about AI agents as well.
So anybody around gaming and AI that wants to catch up and chat or come to our event and grab brunch and listen to what I've got to say
about ontology and that space you're more than welcome to drop me a message and we can figure
something out yeah Jeff thanks so much actually do appreciate you highlighting that so that is
very true I mean we're the team especially Jeff I mean really leads the charge in attending most
events um so if there's anybody that's available, I'm just going to skip that.
One comment, Jeff, a terrible image in my brain.
But yeah, hopefully everybody can meet you in Cannes.
And I've just realized since I'm circling back, Dave,
I totally skipped all your information about the OG campaign.
I just focused on telling people that they weren't old about it.
So we have time, if you don't mind, for me to circle back
and actually give you the opportunity to give some more detail about it. So we have time, if you don't mind, for me to circle back and actually give you the opportunity to give some more detail about this. Just to give you, we can chat a little
bit more maybe about Orange Protocol's role in kind of helping trace the earliest on change.
So I do apologise for that, I moved on far too quick. Thank you. did i lose everybody claire or did we lose dave no sorry i can i know i've lost him as well i
thought it was just me um yeah sorry dave that's it you you had your chance to ask him for more
detail yeah he just unmuted himself and i think he's sitting there not saying anything one thing i would say about that og campaign claire just is just in case we get dave back
so we can share some more yeah of course you know i know so many people in and around the community
that were around for the ont airdrop when it first happened and they're still involved and
they're still actively involved and they still join us for campaigns and do things and i think that's really cool because
in in a place where there's so much competition for attention for web3 users for for people in
there the fact that we've got so many people around who have been around for such a long time
i think is excellent and one thing i would say is for everybody doesn't matter how long you've
been around get involved in that OG campaign.
You can then tweet out.
You can find out when your first transaction was.
You can tweet out and share it.
Do all these things.
I think it'd be a really cool experience
to see when you did get involved.
And even if you're new, do it anyway.
Let's see when you got involved and let's see.
Because it enables us to see who's active, who's involved.
And it helps us to prioritize users and get opportunities for new users as well to make sure they can get involved in new campaigns going forward at the same time.
Yeah, definitely. I mean, this element of a campaign isn't something I've come across before.
As you said, Web3 moves so quickly. There's always new projects.
And I think it's difficult to be really committed to a project or to be there long term because a lot of projects pivot, which is fine.
You know, there's nothing against that, but to have this where we can look back like years
ago and to ensure that we still have connections with the community definitely is great.
And also, yeah, we're always open to feedback.
So as Jeff said, even if you're new, it would be really great to see everybody involved.
So Dave, I've seen you rejoin.
Can you speak?
Can we hear you?
Can you guys hear me now?
So I thought you just unmuted yourself and were sitting there silently.
Thinking about things deeply.
So I assume you heard my question and I do apologize.
I gave you no chance.
So please go ahead.
No, no. I'll be super brief.
Like, as I said, I don't think people are going to be super interested
in kind of diving into the technical side of this too much,
but this is something like Orange has done for other projects in the past,
so it's cool to be doing it for Ontology.
So basically with Orange, what we can do is we can query the block data
on Ontology Network.
And this is something else that we've done as well, which is pull specific smart contract events. So for the projects, we've looked at stuff like when did this first DEX swap occur?
When did they transfer ONT, ONG? When did they stake ONT or whatever it might be?
So all this is going to be fed into this new model that we've
just built and just launched actually and if you're if you're on the orange orange website
definitely generate your orange humanity score and then if you look into your profile you should
be able to click on uh where you can actually enter this and enter this model and figure out
where exactly you rank against a whole bunch of other folks.
And then obviously we're going to take the block timestamp of their first trade that they've done on Ontology.
And then this ranking will determine who wins this prize at the end.
So everyone will get a verifiable credential on where they rank,
when their first trade or first kind of action was on Ontology.
And then, yeah, whoever comes out on top at the end
is the one who's going to win the reward.
Okay, cool.
I hope everybody understood and noted that.
But yeah, if anybody has any questions after this,
don't hesitate to reach out to Dave.
I'm sure he'll be happy to chat.
He won't just pretend he's there. So I do appreciate everybody's time today. I know it's a Friday
morning. It can be a little bit tough to kind of get energized to join a call like this.
But just to recap quite quickly for everybody, so that we have three elements to this campaign.
We have our kind of like our core to this, as I just mentioned, which is the Trade Smarter.
So this is from June
30th then we also have stake to win this kicks off around June well dropping yet June 28th so
make sure that you're you're staying up to date on this so this is around 2.58 then we also have
the wide world campaign so this already started two days ago but we're running this for for some
time I believe um from June 18th so yeah it's been active for a couple of days. And then, you know, don't forget,
I mean, even though there's a lot of creative elements,
like the rewards here are really solid.
So it's $600 prize pool just to get you guys involved
in kind of spreading the word about our branding.
Also, there's a bunch of content that's available
in the news section of the blog,
which I hope everybody's able to navigate to.
It's under guides.
So you'll find more information about staking.
There's an update there on exactly how everything functions here.
I'll be inviting partners to join us over the next few weeks.
I'm not going to give any information yet because we're just finalizing.
We might have some mini campaigns kicking off with those partners.
So I guess it's just more opportunity to get everybody involved
and to get everybody earning some rewards.
And as Jeff said, he'll be in Cannes.
Hopefully he'll be dressed appropriately.
And so if anybody would like to meet him, don't hesitate to reach out.
Yeah, I've appreciated everyone's time today.
If anybody has any more that you'd like to add,
we've done a good job on sticking within our 30 minutes.
I'll just briefly just say look forward to everybody joining in get involved in the wide world that's really easy to get involved in just click on the tweet follow the instructions
generate smart you're in with a good chance of winning something and and honestly just reach
out if anybody's got any confusion or anything you can find me on telegram or discord or anywhere
just you know reach out say hello always happy to chat yep same here i don't mind chatting at all and also just as just as a quick
reminder i'll be adding updates for all of these community calls to the blog so um there'll just
be notes and there'll be a little bit more detail on everything that we cover from every community
call going forward um and i'm always open to hearing more from your feedback um i don't hesitate
to reach out about feedback for this campaign so I hope everybody can get involved and you know I
appreciate the guys joining today it's always nice to have the team involved nobody laughed
at my jokes I don't think I made any so that's fine but I hope everybody has thanks Dave I hope
everybody has a really nice weekend and yeah as Jeff said just get. Let us know if you have any hassle.
