What do you think about you?
Don't you want me to do?
You don't want to hurt us.
I don't want you to do that.

We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
We've got Dazed Ducks on this page.
We've got Yaku Corp.
We've got Retro Goons.
We've got Dust City.
We're going to be doing a little Solana action here today, guys.
Because I know what you're thinking.
I know a lot of people think Solana kind of falling off a bit.
We're still riding.
We're still here.
I hit up some projects, some of my favorite projects to hop on spaces with me today.
So you've got to give credit to the projects on stage today.
They're here to show up.
They're here to build in a bear market.
And shout out to all the listeners for showing up.
We've got VANFT.
We've got Brown Hoodie showing love.
Brad, what's good?
Shout out to everybody in the crowd.
Dust City.
PFP is going crazy.
We've got some Retro Goons in the crowd.
Some Dazed Ducks showing love in the crowd.
Appreciate it, y'all.
Okay, we're going to start off today with some Retro Goons, Alpha.
Retro Goons, what it do?
How's it going, mate?
Nice to talk to you, as always.
Yeah, bro.
Thanks for popping on again, man.
What's going on?
Let's talk a little Goons.
You guys have been on the forefront of customizable NFTs, which, you know, makes sense.
I think dynamic NFTs are the future.
I mean, so many people have used Snapchat.
Snapchat, you can customize your avatar.
And we still can't customize our NFTs the way that, you know, we probably should be able to.
So, talk a little bit about Retro Goons and how customization is a big part of what you guys are building.
You'll have to excuse me.
I'm a bit sick right now, but I want to talk for as long as I can here.
But, yeah, the Snapchat thing is interesting you bring up because that's what kind of inspired us from the beginning with Snapchat, like the Bitmoji they have.
If you go to, like, Snapchat and you try to customize, I don't know how much of the NFT demographic would use Snapchat because it's more geared towards, I think, younger generations.
But if you go into the character customization of Snapchat, you can see that you can, like, customize your Bitmoji with different brands.
But it's just, like, it's terrible.
Like, you'll see there'll be, like, Nike, Adidas, like, North Face.
And you can go in and put, like, these branded clothes on your digital avatar.
And that's what kind of inspired us to start out with Digitals as kind of our end goal, a universal avatar platform, which we really haven't talked about yet or getting into.
So, for now, we're just experimenting with Retro Goons.
And we launched the first trait drop on February 28th.
And we did a partnership with Sets.
So, we just essentially allowed people to mint three new traits that were inspired by the Sets on Correct brand with points and the points earned by staking your goon.
And so, that's just kind of our entry into it right now.
We just want people to kind of have fun with the art and, you know, make it mutable.
So, right now, we're just taking user feedback on the experience and seeing what we can kind of fix, make better.
And that's kind of our goal right now.
We just want to patch it up, rework the UI and the user experience.
And then, soon enough, we'll launch another partnership with another exciting brand.
The age-old question, is it Sets on Crack or is it Kets on Crack?
And you went with the hard line, Kets.
I usually have a track record and pronouncing everything wrong.
So, I might have butchered that.
I don't think anyone really knows the answer.
But I like that you just steamed right through that.
Let's just take a – let's zoom out real quick because I know we have some people on here who aren't a part of the goon squad.
You know, real high level, what is Retro Goons?
What are you guys trying to do?
What's the brand all about?
I would say it's a connection with digital is more or less with the idea of expanding into, like, the digital realm of having, like, you know, this experience digitally and physical – on a physical level.
So, right now, it's more or less, you know, we love the art and the characters, but we're more focused on the software and the utilities.
And that's kind of just our focus is building that out the best we can.
You know, Retro Goons on Sol is mostly focused on the whole digital experience, swapping out traits, customizable NFTs.
And that's kind of – it's subject to focus where Fidgetals is now branching into the physical realm, which is buying a physical product, you know, that physical product coming to your doorstep and you being able to mint it on chain and utilize it on your NFTs.
So, that's kind of, like, our main goal and reach right now.
Do you feel like you guys are doing it, like – like, what does the future of Solana look like?
Because, you know, you partnered with Sets slash Kets on Crack.
I saw you guys also do, like, a Mindfolk partnership.
I mean, how do you guys think you can continue to build on Solana?
Like, what's the future of Retro Goons on Solana?
That's a good question.
I think, like, there's a lot of discussions, obviously, going around with Utes and Egos leaving.
And, you know, there's a lot of focus shifting away from them on the new collections.
Like, Klanosaurus has just been absolutely pumping and whatnot.
So, I think Sol is, you know, too big to just go away and, like, be forgotten about, which some people think it's just going to be, like, a dying chain and whatnot.
I think there's possibly still, like, way too many big players in the space for that to happen.
And, you know, obviously, there's low gas fees, which really helps us out with swapping trades and stuff.
Like, we need to utilize that.
Because when people are changing the metadata on their NFTs, like, we can't have that be an expensive, like, transaction.
Otherwise, it kind of defeats the purpose.
Well, not defeats the purpose, but it doesn't really – it de-incentivizes, you know, utilizing what we've built.
So, you know, Solana is great for what we have.
And I think it's still going to be an exciting space.
You know, once Utes and Egos do leave, we still have a bunch of big players, like OK Bears and Teo Pilots, Famous Fox.
So, I'm excited for the future of Solana.
I think it's too big to go anywhere, but only time will tell, right?
So, talk a little bit more about Fidgitals, because that's kind of your parent company.
Yeah, that's the parent company for Goons.
And, yeah, that's –
So, how do they – yeah, talk a little bit about Fidgitals.
Yeah, just what I was briefly mentioning before with the –
I was going to say, Goons, I think you're rugging.
Yeah, you're rugged altogether.
Fucking hate Goons.
Retro Goons.
That's why you can't switch accounts on Spaces.
So, back to –
Yeah, man.
I've done that a few times.
Good thing you weren't hosting the space.
I did that one time hosting the space, and it wasn't great.
Yeah, that would not be good.
I think I almost did that hosting, too.
Fidgitals is just our powerhouse brand.
And it's going to be, you know, mostly a software company that also dives into, like, the physical realm with merchandise, mintable merchandise.
So, right now, we're just kind of – I have an announcement I've got to put out after the spaces.
But right now, we're just – with the physical side of things, what we're looking to ship is the figurine idea, where you buy a physical product, like a physical collectible, such as, like, you know, a figurine.
So, similar to how Cause works and – oh, I'm trying to blink.
Let's just go with Cause.
So, you know, you buy a physical collectible, it comes to your doorstep, and then we want to be able to incorporate, you know, NFT and blockchain tech into that with NFC chips.
So, we'll have a chip embedded in the base of the figurine.
You can put your phone up to it, and then you can mint a digital replication of the 3D file on chain.
So, we're trying to mesh, you know, those two worlds of, like, collectibles, physical collectibles and digital collectibles, you know, utilizing this new tech we're all experiencing in Web3.
And we're excited for it.
I think, you know, there is that podcast with Joe Rogan recently, and he was on there talking to – what's the guy who exposes scams?
The famous guy.
Coffee Zilla.
Yeah, I was on there talking about Coffee Zilla, and, you know, Joe Rogan, someone super influential, was basically, like, pushing that narrative, like, oh, the NFTs, I just don't understand it.
I can right-click and save it.
Like, what's – why would I spend the money when I can just view yours and save it?
And after that, the only thing – the only NFT he understood, he's, like – he referenced Beeple's NFTs.
He's, like, you see, Beeple, like, that's an NFT I like because, you know, I bought this NFT, and it came with a physical product, and I have it sitting there over my desk.
So I understand that.
So for us, that was, like, a big, you know, reinforcement of this ideology that we want to push this idea, you know, get Web3 mainstream into the Web2 world.
And for us, this is a way we can do it by incorporating digital collectibles and physical products.
So – and then the last thing I'll end on is we want to provide that for everyone going forward.
So once we experiment with this process, get it perfected and have the operation, like, solidified, we can go out and white-label this experience for everyone.
I know, you know, Pudgy Penguins recently announced that they want to get into retail stores and do physicals.
A kid called Beast just announced that they want to get into physicals.
So we're talking a kid called Beast because they have a similar vision, I believe.
I think Pudgy Penguins is more doing something mainstream, more along the lines of kind of, like, a toy line.
But, yeah, that's the end goal.
Yeah, that's awesome.
I think, you know, I think to actually onboard more types of people, you have to reach them in different ways than just NFTs.
So totally with you on that.
Specifically for Retro Goons, I know you guys have a staking system that accrues points.
Holders are staking and getting points.
What do the points get you?
Yeah, I agree with you that there's going to be kind of a process, you know, different processes to onboard different kinds of people.
And, yeah, it should be interesting.
With the points, yeah, so we have users staking for points.
That went live about almost two months ago, I want to say.
So we launched it about a month in advance for the first trade drop so people could stake to start earning points.
The points are off-chain, so you can't list them on an exchange.
And, essentially, that's just going to be the way we utilize, like, a type of utility currency in our ecosystem.
So, right now, the main use case for it is minting new traits with them.
So, when we do the trait drops, like the sets on cracker, cats, however you want to pronounce it, they have to mint those traits with points to begin with.
So, they're not minted in Sol or in any other way at the moment.
It's just points.
And then we'll incorporate a few other things with the points, you know, kind of more standardized things like raffles and auctions and allow for burning of points, burning traits for points.
So, that's just going to be kind of the way we can, you know, increase a use case of a type of currency in our ecosystem.
It's a lot like the use points.
Like, that was our main inspiration for it.
What the fuck does use points even do?
Has that even...
I don't think Frank has announced what use points are used for yet.
You just accrue points and you can get a fanny pack, like Moonbirds, something like that.
Yeah, I don't know.
I think a lot of people are speculating that they're going to be used in their...
Because they're launching a launchpad service, I believe.
You know, pretty much...
Providing people with their infrastructure to launch a project.
And I think they're just going to allocate spots for their community to be minted with points.
That's what some of the community consensus is, but I don't really know, to be honest.
Well, hey, man, I appreciate you hopping on.
I know I, you know, put your mind in a blender with the whole sets, cats, pronunciation thing.
And just go full steam ahead with sets.
I mixed you up a little bit there, and I apologize.
But yeah, thanks for coming on, talking a little retro goons.
Hope you feel better.
Always a pleasure talking goons.
Love the art, which we didn't really touch upon today, but love the style of the art, of course.
So we'll talk again soon, man.
Thanks, man.
Thanks for having us.
Yeah, I got to dip out of here, but cheers to all the other projects.
It sounds like you need to sneeze.
Don't be afraid to sneeze.
I'm sick right now.
But I'll have a listen later.
So peace out, everyone.
Have a great day.
All right.
Thanks, goons.
We're going to move on.
We're going to talk a little.
Speaking of Utes, Frank, Dust?
Dust City on the stage right now.
First time guest.
What's up, Dust City?
Yo, what's up?
How's it going?
Yeah, it's going well.
Yeah, I just doubled on your project recently.
Pretty impressed by some of the things you guys are doing.
I'm kind of blown away because Web3 is – it's funny.
Web3 is supposed to be the future, yet we rely on, like, these Web2 apps so much.
Like, Twitter, obviously, is where, like, everything happens for Web3.
Same thing with Discord.
You guys are pretty heavy on Telegram to the point that you've actually – one of your utilities you've built out is four Telegram groups.
We'll get into Dust City in a second.
But just curious, why the bet on Telegram?
Why are you guys building with Telegram?
Yeah, sure.
So we have a different vision of building our community because, as you know, a lot of projects in the NFT space are building their communities on Discord only.
But I think on Telegram, it's great, too, because especially in Eastern European community, we have a lot of people from this area.
And it's really easy to start with – it's easy to navigate on these channels.
And we have really – we have a lot of old people, like, 40 years old, 30 years old.
Don't be mad about it, but I'm just a little young.
That's why I'm calling them old people.
But, yeah, we have our tool, Teleport, it's like a metric, but for Telegram and Teleport helps to verify ownership of NFT collections.
But we are not pushing this tool right now.
We are developing this tool.
We have added support for other chains.
For example, we have added EVM integration.
We have added Polygon, Bitroom, Ethereum, and Optimism.
So, yeah, we are just trying to build our community.
We have our Telegram channels because our founder is a well-known public figure in the Eastern European community.
We have really big Telegram channels, about 100,000 people.
And, yes, this service is really easy to use.
You just need a correction, hash list, or link just to your major hidden.
And that's it.
And currently, our Teleport tool is free to use.
You can set up your Telegram community for free.
Just DM us, contact us, and we will verify your community.
And besides Teleport, actually, we have another utility.
For example, we have NFT Builder.
It's a really beautiful and absolutely free tool for everyone, not only for holders.
And it can help anyone to generate their NFT collection without any technical knowledge.
Any NFT enthusiasts, any artist can create their collection just with rates or with arts.
And that's it.
They can upload it.
And also, we have KURT.
It's like a platform for conducting prediction games, which was successfully tested by us during the FIFA World Cup.
And in the FIFA World Cup, we had a prize pool with about 300 and 400 prizes in NFTs.
And on our platform, we decided to allow predictions only in the NXR token at the moment, because the city holders can earn this token for free through staking or for events.
And in the future, we plan to refine the platform and offer it to other communities like White Label System as a service, integrating any tokens if necessary.
And, yes, we are like a community-based project.
We are an alpha community.
We have really good alpha callers from Robinhood DAO.
We have really good whitelist opportunities.
For example, we had a whitelist for Mid-Madness.
You know, right now, Polygon games are on hype.
And we had a whitelist for The Bastards, The Haste.
So, yeah, that's about us.
You can feel free to ask any questions.
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, every time I go to Europe, everyone always wants to be on Telegram or WhatsApp.
It's always so strange to me, because I'm over here in the States, and we don't use that too much.
And when people ask me if I have WhatsApp and Telegram, it's always like someone asking me if I have trucks.
I'm like, wait, what?
But, yeah, no, that's – I love that you guys are building tools for other projects, because I think B2B streams of revenue, B2B utilities are super important.
What is Dust City exactly?
I mean, I see a lot of people in here rocking the PFPs.
So, there's definitely, like, you know, an art, you know, a style to Dust City.
What exactly is Dust City?
Yeah, it's like Cyberpunk, you know, we are a community-based project, and we are trying to create really good art.
And we had, like, auctions on Monit platform where we were creating, like, 1-1s with updated staking or rewards.
And actually, about our token, about Nektar token, we have a supply of our token 5 million.
And, you know, 0% of these tokens going to team, it's all going to community, through our events, through staking, through all this stuff.
So, we are fully community-oriented project.
We are not trying to push our utilities at the moment, because we are trying to update them.
Because, at the moment, actually, we are creating a white-layable system, as I said, because it's in our plans, but we are already developing this white-layable system.
Actually, I can share some development plan for Dust City, for Teleport, and, yeah, about this, in our plan, Discord integration and access to Telegram groups by hearing specific Discord roles,
access to Telegram groups, access to Telegram groups by holding an NFT with specific traits, combined access, for example, access to Telegram groups by holding five NFTs and having a specific Discord role, plus holding an NFT with a specific trait.
So, yeah, we are really building, like, we are not a well-known project in the NFT space, but we have really good fruit price in the secondary.
You can check it, and we are really, we are really a diamond-hand community, I can say that for sure.
We have our community for a few years because of our founder, because he's, like, crypto-influencers, he has Telegram channels, he's writing about crypto, about NFT projects, about Web3 gaming projects,
because, actually, we have our second project, it's our gaming project, you can check it, we are developing Football Manager, I can tell you more about this Football Manager, but, yeah, actually, right now, it's about Dust City.
Yeah, well, what's, so, you've mentioned a couple times your founder, I'm assuming that is Crypto Demirig, is that, is that him?
Yeah, yes, that's him.
So, he, so he's, like, a big Eastern European Web3 influencer?
Yeah, that's right.
Okay, cool.
Yeah, so you mentioned gaming, I mean, I like the, I like the soccer, you said the soccer prediction game, you know, I, I love, I love doing predictions on Solana NFT floor prices, if you could, if you could build that out, I'll start doing a lot of predictions, because, uh, a lot of them go down.
It's, it's hard to believe, I know, but you guys are holding up strong.
You guys do a lot of prizes for the community, too.
Talk about some of the prizes you guys give out for the community, and how that kind of keeps the community engaged.
Um, you know, I, I saw you guys, um, where was this?
Yeah, you guys do, are doing a ton of raffles, uh, that's always, you know, you know, huge, you guys have worked with, you know, done some raffles on Famous Fox Federation.
Um, how has the raffles, uh, kind of the raffle meta, uh, been integral to your project?
Yeah, not only about the raffles, and not, uh, only on Famous Fox Federation and Monarch Platform, too.
We have held our raffles for youths, for rascals, uh, for other NFTs, for the cities, one of ones, and, uh, about, uh, price pools, actually, at the moment, uh, we are running, uh, UFA Champions League games, so, with a price pool of 150 so, and, uh, yes, as I mentioned before,
we had our, we had our, uh, we had our, uh, price pool for, for FIFA World Cup, uh, and, uh, about this, uh, about this prices, uh, like, it was, uh, 300 so, and, uh, 400, uh, in NFT prices, uh, also.
So, because, uh, at this time, NFTs of the city was trading really high, but, uh, we're dumped right now.
We have only 10 so, uh, or 9 so for price, but it's still a lot, you know?
Yeah, absolutely. Um, and yeah, that, that's a great way to keep the community involved as well. Um, I'm just curious right now, we, we'll, we'll wrap it up in a second, but, like, what is, uh, what's the community like? What's the Dusk City community like?
Because I can't say that I interact too much with, you know, Ukrainian or Eastern European, um, Web3 friends, um, as, as much as maybe some other parts of the world. Uh, how crazy are you fuckers over in, uh, Eastern Europe with, uh, NFTs?
Yeah, we are fucking crazy. And, uh, we are flipping NFTs or minting NFTs every day. Entire community actually is minting everything.
That's really funny, but yeah, we are really high in judgment, uh, and involved, uh, community in our telegram. We have about, uh, thousands of messages per day.
We have our researches on Web3 gaming space, on NFTs, uh, on Savannah, on Ethereum. So we are trying to provide as many opportunities for our community as we can.
And, uh, uh, we are trying to find a white list for them or calling on the secondary market. So we have, like, uh, Legolas for this. So we have our alpha callers, uh, from, uh, Robin Lota now, as I mentioned, and we have our gaming researchers, as I mentioned, Web3 gaming space is growing, uh, fast.
And, uh, you can check, uh, games on Polygon. It's really on hype right now, especially because of Mint Madness on Magic Eden.
So, yeah, we are just trying to, uh, provide as many opportunities for our community as we can. It's, uh, the goal of Dust City. We are fully community-oriented and we are community-based projects.
But also, besides that, we are creating really good utilities. Uh, yep.
Yeah, I saw you guys, uh, at one point had, you know, a liquidity pool open for people to take loans out on, uh, with provided interest.
And, and, you know, obviously we, we talked about, um, you know, Teleport, which I think is a really cool utility for other NFT projects as well.
Um, anything else you guys plan on shipping out for the rest, in the next couple of months? Anything else you guys are working on right now?
Yeah, we are working at this moment, uh, for White Label system, for Kurt, as I mentioned.
And we are working, uh, on Teleport, on adding support of other chains.
And if you want to set up your Telegram community for your project, just let us know, DM us, and we will verify your community.
We are doing this really fast and we are trying to reach whole NFT space because, you know, at this moment, uh, we have really good reputation in the Eastern European community.
But, uh, we want, uh, to, uh, whole space, uh, to let us know about, uh, our project, uh, to the whole space, right?
Sweet. Yeah. Keep cranking out the spaces and, uh, appreciate you coming on mine and, uh, love the community.
And, um, yeah, I love, I love that you at least admitted that you guys are some crazy fuckers over in Eastern Europe because we know you guys are.
Uh, and we are over here in the States as well. We love flipping NFTs, we love buying NFTs, and, uh, we love talking NFTs.
So, uh, thanks for coming on, DustCity.
Yeah, thank you. And, uh, shout out to Chris.
We were, we was on the Twitter space before, so I gotta go, but, uh, it was amazing, Twitter space.
Uh, much love. Take care. Have a great night, day. See you.
See you, King. Thanks for coming on.
All right. Um, you guys know I start off all my Twitter spaces by saying sup to my ducks.
Uh, unspecified what ducks I'm referring to, but for today, uh, I was referring to dazed ducks.
Uh, fuck, man. I think, I think the first ever Solana space I ever did, my first guest on that show was dazed ducks.
We have a long history. This is like, I don't want to say it's my ex-girlfriend, but this is like a lover that I'm reuniting with after a long time.
Dazed ducks. What's up?
Yo, what is going on? Cool times. Long time. No, see, man. I was shocked when I got that DM.
I was like, yo, it's cool. Time really swinging back around. So it's like indulged in on some Solana NFTs.
Yeah. It's been the block, you know, I'm like, he had fucking out here, bro. Like I'm trying to figure out who's still really out here. And I was like, again, that's why I'm, I almost bring up the old flame thing. I was like, yeah, it's like that. I don't want to call you a booty call, but I was like, I, I know I have, this is something consistent.
But we know, we know what we got with each other. We got great chemistry. Let's talk some ducks.
Hell yeah, man. I love it. I love it. Yeah, man. It's been a long time. And sure enough, even throughout that long time, ducks are still here. Hang on one second.
The one thing I love about ducks while, while we wait on him. The one thing I love about ducks is, um, I still interact with people on a daily basis who rock duck PFPs. So, I mean, they've been around for a while now, but the community is still there. It's, it's not like any of you guys are going anywhere and it seems like the team is still out there building. So.
Yeah, man, we're, we're, we're still here, uh, you know, quacking proudly. I mean, we've been real active on the socials recently, just taking a new, um, sort of marketing approach.
Obviously a couple of the ventures that, you know, we were hyping up ever since mint finally coming into fruition, full circle clothes on some of those most anticipated that everyone was seeing.
And what recently got the most traction was soul games. Obviously, um, we basically finally got our license or fully legal with the curse, our license. Um, you know, that's expected to renew every six months.
Um, but soul games in and of itself, it's, it's set to launch very soon here. Very shortly. Um, soul bids has been around for a couple months now.
We've, we've really just been pushing that drive in like basically the best raffle system you could possibly think of. Uh, there's rake back systems embedded into that.
So if you're not winning on raffles and you don't want to spend more money to get more bids, uh, the more ducks you hold, the more raffles you're entitled to get back.
But there's, there's just a lot of cool things going on. Um, I'm very excited to still be here within the space.
Um, I see Solana Chris up here, a long time OG player as well.
Been a big fan of him for a long time and following to see what he's doing as well.
But, um, yeah, man, just, just love being up here.
And you also, you also doxed as, as Bill Gates recently.
Uh, I saw that in your pin tweet, which I don't know, didn't, didn't Bill, wasn't Bill Gates like best friends with Jeff Epstein?
No comment. Smart.
Um, I think that was Bill Clinton, dude.
You know, if your name is Bill, I'm glad it's not Solana Bill and it's Solana Chris.
Cause bills don't seem, don't seem like the most trustworthy guys these days.
Who knows?
Philanthropy didn't work out, man.
I, I just, I wanted to get into NFTs.
They, they reached out to me.
I was like, yo, like I'm not really doing anything with my time.
I got billions of dollars and they gave up a good offer.
So I was like, all right, screw it.
Might as well.
So here we are.
Let's do, you mentioned soul games.
Let's dive a little bit more into that.
Um, but people love, why, I don't, why does Solana love casinos and gaming so much and gambling?
Um, what, what's, what's the response been?
I know it's, it hasn't launched yet, right?
No, there, there is a beta, um, that that's, we're probably going to let people play around
with the beta within the next two weeks or so, but soul games, the launch is very soon,
but I won't want to address your point behind the whole thing.
I think that narrative in and of itself, that's very broad.
Um, I just think like everyone loves to write, we're DJs and nature.
And so, you know, the whole idea about online gaming platforms and gambling platforms has
always been in existence.
Um, for us, it's not like we're following any sort of bandwagon or train.
Um, we actually retweeted it from our main account, but our co-founder, our co-founder,
Sean tweeted way back.
Um, we actually bought the domain for soul games back early in September of 2021, um,
before there was ever even a whole push behind this whole online casino or gambling platform.
So it's not like we were following any sort of like bandwagon.
This has always been something within the works.
I will say soul games in and of itself, although the casino aspect or the platform aspect, that
is the number one driving revenue for soul games in and of itself.
It's, it's meant to be more than just that.
Um, you know, when we originally brought out this idea, the idea was a full on arcade system,
So within that, you know, there's games, there's casinos.
We actually even built six in-house games that are going to be launching with soul games.
So there's a bunch of cool things embedded within the platform.
That's not entirely in and of itself meant to be that.
However, it is going to be fueling the main revenue source or driving factor within that
ecosystem.
Um, another thing about it is, you know, I know, I understand there's a lot of
people that have a negative outlook on it because they view these sort of platforms
as liquidity suckers.
And, um, to be quite frank with you, that is the case, right?
Because at the end of the day, I'm not going to get up here and say, expect to win hundreds
of thousand dollars or a hundred X year investment.
It's just a gaming site, right?
You're expected to lose.
You're expected to come out in a loss.
Like that's the whole point of it.
However, for us, it was never taking liquidity out and just putting it into our own pockets.
Um, it was always, how can we put this money back into the ecosystem?
And that's where we kind of devised this whole sort of breakdown where it's essentially comes
out to roughly 80% of the revenue that's generated from the platform gets funneled right back
into the ecosystem, whether it's rewarding our holders, whether it's hosting those daily,
um, or weekly, uh, lotteries with the orbs, um, and as well as soul bids.
So those raffles that you go on, you bid on for, they're very inexpensive.
I mean, you can bid on raffles for as little as 0.1 Solana.
Um, I think we have even Klainos is on there, so on and so forth.
But the idea behind it is to increase the level of prizes offered there in well too.
Um, before we go into our next set of ventures, right?
So there's also soul ads, which is coming up.
Um, that would probably be our next tackle after we fully launched soul game.
So a lot of things in the works, the idea behind soul games in and of itself was just
to have been a, obviously for one and foremost, it's a revenue generating platform that's supposed
to give us enough runway, um, to continue to build and bring you new, exciting tech.
But then ideally it's also meant to, uh, give back to the holders and the ecosystem in and
of itself.
Um, but yeah.
So you mentioned you had the domain soul games since, uh, like some,
September, 2021, that's a long ass time.
September, 2021.
Our guy, our co-founder Sean bought it for a measly 5,500 bucks way back then.
I mean, that's so long ago.
I was still a virgin then.
Um, and, and now I'm, yeah, I, I actually, wait, I'm still a virgin.
Nevermind.
Um, it's a hard to keep the community engaged for a while.
Like if, if you're promising something, people are saying when, when, when, when, when, um,
you got a lot of riders for you.
You got a lot of ducks still riding.
How, how'd you keep the community, uh, so tight through, you know, through the building
Um, I mean, if, if we're being completely transparent, yes, there was a point in time
where ducks were basically like in and of itself gone from existence.
But the core community, one of the things about the OG holders is they always stuck around.
And I think the biggest things in my opinion, right.
When I look at it as a former OG holder turned now heading up the communication, heading up
the communications and all that stuff was that transition to it.
And I think one of the biggest things is, you know, we did things right way, right.
We never really had any sort of like negative FUD.
There was never really any sort of like, uh, drama within the industry in and of itself.
It was always build transparency, build the product and the revenue and the people will
come and that in and of itself, that model it's, it's good and bad.
So the fact that we took that route and went that transparent route, it allowed us to build
a very strong, strong, strong, by strong.
I mean, like these, these are diamond handers I've never seen before.
Um, core community that's always going to stick with us through thick and thin because
they understand the amount of work, effort, and transparency that was put into building
the brand.
Um, but it also did kind of, and we did kind of like pivot how we, you know, market our
things with like this quote unquote, having transparent roadmaps and deadlines, because
you are right within this community, if you set yourself to certain deadlines and expectations
to a community specifically with dates and you don't enact upon them, um, you know, quote
unquote, that's where like the whole delays things came from, from the D guys community.
It's you begin to garner sort of negative sentiment within the community.
So the idea behind it now, it's just, uh, you know, continuously show that you're there,
Don't just not be non-existent.
So increase your presence, continue to build, uh, continue to hype the community and drop
the products accordingly.
And, uh, the rest will follow suit.
What are your favorite dog traits?
I mean, this is controversial.
I, Hey, I'm only here to ask the hard questions.
That's a hard question.
And there's a lot of different traits to choose from.
If I had to pick, I'm an ape cap OG.
Um, it has to be the ape cap man.
The ape cap has always been my favorite.
Also because I spent like a ton of Solana loading up on ape cap zombies.
I know the camel skin trait is also very highly sought after our head mod literally is the
camel king and all he does.
Right there.
He's throwing up Brad, Brad, right there.
Our head mod camel king, that man is a, as a fiend for camel ducks.
Um, but the most rarest traits and the coolest looking ones have to be some of the zombie
There's I think four different colors.
Um, but yeah, probably zombie cap.
No, no, no.
Ape cap, zombie skin, camel skin, zombie cap.
Um, and then obviously the one, the ones made by our, I mean, the whole entire collection
was made by Guava, but the one, the ones that he put extra time into see stain on their
rock and one, um, also have to be hands down.
Some of my favorites.
How much weed does Guava smoke a day?
Did you, uh, come to our, when we hosted NFT NYC, man, if you, if you stopped in there,
you would have saw there were, there were joints.
Nah, I didn't, I didn't, nah, I didn't come.
I, I, that was last year.
Yeah, man.
We had a whole venue.
Gave out good events.
I didn't get an invite.
We could have got you in, man.
I missed that.
I don't need to get like a DM like, Hey man, like, listen, you might've missed it.
I think, I think at the time you were like heavy in on the ETH stuff.
That's when you like transitioned away from Solana and you were like, you know what?
You know, I've always been ETH.
I just like, Solana is just like my mistress that I come and fornicate with every once in a while.
So I'm actually.
We're just on the roster, right?
No, I got a large roster, um, up here, but you know, days, days ducks is, is no, gee,
that's one of the first, uh, Solana NFTs I ever bought.
And we're here.
One of the most trusted in the space, super transparent.
All founders are docs.
We're always around having conversations.
One of the biggest things that I love about this community, uh, the rest of the team and
the founders is we, we don't really take shots in a negative sentiment towards any other
collections.
I mean, we support all builders in the space, whether it's Yaku, Retro Goons, Death City,
whoever's up and about pushing the space forward.
Um, a lot of these nuances are what's going to help set the new foundations for web three
in and of itself.
Um, and I know you asked it earlier.
Good question.
Just wanted to give our take on it is, um, the state of Solana and collections that
relief Solana.
Um, I definitely think there's, um, a future where NFTs in and of itself just become
multi-blockchain, but I also think that core collections do need sort of like a home base
or a station to where they reside to.
And I think Ducks will always and forever will maintain itself in and of its Solana no
matter the direction NFTs as a whole take.
Obviously, as things begin to transgress and change and new sort of, uh, fundamentals are
set, we'll begin to pivot our motives beyond that.
But I think Solana is here to stay.
No intentions of leaving anytime soon.
Um, however, NFTs is becoming a growing notion that they look to be multi-blockchain, um, or
just blockchain interchangeable.
So when that time comes, we'll pivot to that.
But for now, Ducks are here to stay on Solana.
Uh, it's our home.
Are Ducks still quacking?
Ducks are quacking, quack, quack loud as ever, man.
I know you see us on the, on your feed all around, man.
We, we've been, uh, very much active more so recently, have some exciting things in the
Um, if you want, I know this is an alpha space.
So your alpha for today is, uh, we do have a call scheduled with Magic Eden later today.
I'm gonna leave it at that.
So take that how you will.
Uh, that's your little alpha that you'll get for today.
Um, but yeah, that's not an alpha.
Wait, if, if I, real quick, if I've been stacking up gems, if I've been stacking up tokens,
is that gonna, am I gonna be able to like cash in on that at some point with, uh, with
soul games?
Is there any integration there?
You're asking some, some crazy alpha right now, man.
Listen, listen.
It's a lot.
I'm going to whisper it so no one else can hear it and just see right now you can use
It's chop.daysducks.com.
That's the merch site.
There's some cool merch there.
If you're a holder and you have gems, you can shop for merch and get like basically crazy
discounts, right?
So bids, uh, the leading raffle system on the Solana marketplace offers rateback systems.
Currently right now you can buy bids with Solana, but I heard, overheard in the next update,
uh, there's a gems icon button I saw in an image.
So I don't know.
Maybe you can start getting bids with gems.
Who knows?
And then obviously the biggest kicker is soul games.
Uh, that's our online platform that's coming towards the end of the month here.
maybe I'll just say that maybe not going to give too much away, but yes, there, there's
going to be a large driving factor for gems.
Um, and then one other thing to note here, as we do, uh, begin to pivot and all these
different ventures, our primary concern and priority is always going to be the ducks,
the PFPs that you see in this audience right now.
Um, so everything that we do do is not only to benefit the space, it's also to benefit
our holders.
So with every venture we do take, um, it is to support our core holders, um, whether it
be through gems or their PFP, so on and so forth.
It's always top of mind for us.
All right.
They're teasing me a little bit, but, uh, I like that.
It makes me want to come back for more.
We'll definitely do this again.
Thanks to the quack master himself for, for showing up.
Maybe, maybe just, um, increase the frequency that we're, I know we're on the roster and
we're like, so at the bottom, but like, dude, like, like let's just increase the frequency.
You're back.
Solana Chris is here all the time.
I'm number one on his roster.
Why am I number eight on yours?
I should be top five.
Yeah, man.
I'm, I'm going to level with you, man.
There are some other ducks in my life.
Sup ducks.
Um, there, there's other ducks in my, but trust me, you guys, you guys are up there.
Uh, one of the OGs in this space.
I love y'all.
And, uh, just, you know, still a little upset.
I wasn't at the NFT NYC.
I didn't get like a little note sent to me, but it's okay.
We'll circle back.
Uh, we'll send you a goodie bag of everything that, you know, and trust me, it's not going
to just be a wristband in there.
There'll be more.
Do I get a sticker?
You're going to get a whole little, it's a whole goodie bag, man.
I'll be a little bit of everything.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Uh, days ducks.
If you're not following them already right now, you're fitting yourself.
Appreciate them coming on.
We're going to move on.
And shout out to all the ducks in the crowd.
Um, let's talk squares, squares.
Thanks for inviting us, man.
Cool times.
Uh, really nice to be here.
Great conversation with these ducks.
Yeah, they're all right.
Um, let's talk about you though, because we were just talking about, you know, NFT live
events, NFT NYC.
And, um, whenever I go to these NFT live events, um, I'm known to spend a little too much money
on, on merch.
You know, I'm, I'm known to, to buy a lot of stuff.
Uh, that's one of your core fabrics is, uh, merchandise.
Uh, well, how big is merchandise to the fabric of what the squares are trying to do?
Well, uh, at this point, what I have to say, our brand, the squares brand is in development.
Uh, roughly, uh, this month, uh, or, uh, at the beginning of the next month, we will be
able to release the first, uh, sneak peeks, the first images, uh, from our merch.
Uh, a lot of people, uh, told us as a feedback that the merch is not supposed to be, uh, an
Well, we will try to prove them wrong because one of the, uh, co-founders of the squares,
uh, NoScope, he's involved into the textile industry for more than 18 years.
Uh, he's based in Turkey.
He has a lot of connections, uh, over there, so we will be able to create some interesting
merch, starting with hoodies, starting with t-shirts and, uh, hats.
After that, we'll complete with more and more, uh, merch pieces, merch items, depending
on the demand.
The whole thing is, uh, we're gonna do the whole process, uh, of the merch by ourselves,
starting with the, with the fabric, so the hood, we're gonna produce the hoodies as well.
We're not gonna buy some hoodies and imprim on them.
We'll produce them from zero.
Uh, and the, uh, what's the, uh, newest thing is that we saw a lot of merch, okay, with the
simple logo.
So, it's very easy to recognize, but we'll try to take this thing at the next level, bringing
some traits, uh, putting, putting into, uh, different locations on the hoodie.
For example, from, uh, from an NFT collection, we can, uh, get the necklace as a trait and we
can put it into the neck part of the hoodie.
We'll have this kind of stuff with different colors.
We'll create the, uh, the brand guidelines and stuff, you know, so we'll, we'll take care
of the delivery itself.
So, yeah, no, I, I, I agree with your thesis that, you know, that you want to be additive
with, with merchandise, um, instead of dilutive.
But, um, let's just talk high level.
I'm actually not quite that familiar with the, the squares.
Um, the art looks cool.
Community seems to be, you know, chill.
Um, you know, when you're calling home, uh, to your relatives and telling them about, you
know, the squares, how do you explain it to them?
What's, what is the squares?
Well, the squares is an NFT collection and Solana blockchain based on, uh, square
characters.
Um, right now, uh, we have our Gen Zero collection up on Magic Eden with 1,212 pieces.
Uh, they represent the access, uh, key, the access card to, to the squares main collection
through, uh, our Gen Zero collection called, uh, square pieces.
We started to create the squares now, providing to our holders, uh, the staking, reasons to
stake, uh, we will come up in the next short period with some more utilities for the token.
We'll have our, uh, own casino, but it will be, uh, made with, uh, Danger Valley docks, if you know.
The Quackpot, uh, we'll just customize it for the squares.
They will be able to use both a Solana and, uh, and a test token to earn some good prizes.
We'll have a loot box, scratch, and stuff.
That's for the short term to make sure people, uh, will have more reasons to, to hold the square
Uh, we, uh, we continue to build, we continue to, to prepare the things, the marketing campaign
and stuff for the squares main collection.
What's the community like?
Tell us a little bit about the, the community, the holders, uh, what's the sentiment there?
Uh, well, uh, pre-mint, uh, before the square pieces mint, uh, the hype was up, uh, once we
organized the poker night, for example, we had like 300 participants with not, uh, so big
prizes without any Solana in prizes.
Actually, we had, uh, uh, a very big activity, but, uh, post-mint, uh, plus the market conditions,
uh, uh, uh, simply slowly, uh, uh, slow the process, you know, right now we have some, some
really good investors, some really good holders of the NFTs, uh, around 360 people.
Uh, they will, uh, we'll try to, to listen to them.
We'll try to create, uh, a strong base, a strong community, even though it, it will not
be as high as we wanted before the main collection, but we'll make sure, uh, we have this base,
uh, and we'll be able to make some noise into the Solana space.
So talk a little bit about, um, the staking, the token.
I mean, how do you guys, I know you guys are pretty new.
How do you plan on integrating all that?
Well, it's a, it's a very simple system.
It's based on this court for a moment.
We saw, uh, we received some feedback for the, uh, traditional stake.
We'll try to, uh, give them another, uh, alternative, uh, if they want, uh, another option for the
staking, but actually, uh, if you hold at least one NFT, uh, from the, uh, square pieces
collection, you can simply connect on the discord, you connect with Matrika, uh, after that,
you, uh, you simply, uh, type start staking and, uh, you collect after two days, you, uh, you
are able to collect the tokens, which will be, uh, distributed directly to your wallet.
Uh, what about the DAO?
Well, because I know that DAO is a big part of what you guys are building.
Um, what are some of the plans for the squares DAO?
Well, as I said, uh, they will have access to the test token.
Uh, test token will be, will have multiple uses in the May future, even for the, the merge,
but it's too early to discuss about this right now.
The biggest advantages right now for them, uh, we started some rifles.
We have some weekly giveaways, uh, we started to provide them some, uh, decent alpha calls
with some explanations about marketing and stuff.
Uh, we have few experts in, uh, in our server.
Some crypto analysis, uh, we are providing them some, uh, decent, some good widely spots
for the, uh, newest projects.
Um, um, we want to, to make, uh, an EMA show in the main future.
Uh, once we'll have more info, we'll start, uh, doing our own EMAs as well, trying to be
even more, uh, engaged with, with our community.
I saw Irkon, uh, from, you know, DGN Factory, DGN Sweepers, uh, kind of supporting the project
a couple of times, uh, said you guys are friends.
What's the relationship like with, with Irkon, who's pretty big in the Solana community?
We had some great conversations with, uh, work on, we have like two or three calls with
him related to the merge part.
We didn't start the, uh, the marketing campaign for the merge, but, uh, we approached with
Irkon, uh, we delivered to him, uh, the brand guideline.
With some good examples, uh, he told us what he would like to, to have for his community.
Uh, we are still in discussions, in advanced discussions.
It's like 80% done.
Uh, once we'll have a deal done, uh, we'll announce officially the partnership between
us and, uh, uh, and, uh, DGN Sweepers with WorkUp.
He really likes what we are building.
He proposed us and he told us, uh, how fun it will be to have our little squares in, uh,
in their land on, on Sandbox, for example.
So it's cool.
Something about the way you say little squares in particular sounds extremely fun.
We are always talking about the squares here.
It's everything.
The little squares.
It sounds, it sounds fun.
Um, well, so what is the background of your team?
Um, well, as I told you, no scope, uh, the other co-founder, uh, I'm one of them as well.
Um, he has, he's the co-founder as well for, uh, design markets.
They have like five stores in one of the biggest commercial centers in Istanbul, Turkey.
They are, uh, selling a lot of stuff.
They are working with designers with like 5,000 designers for their products.
They, they have something unique.
Uh, uh, uh, at first, uh, I, I told it's something like Zara, you know, because they have
like for, uh, woman, for men, for, uh, for kids, but they have accessories.
They have hats.
They have a lot of things, but it's, uh, it's an expensive one.
Uh, so price starting with, I don't know, $50 or something.
So it's, uh, they are working only with quality, uh, everything they are, they are, they are
It's, uh, it's pretty unique in my, in my opinion through them, uh, as a short alpha, uh, we
will be able to expose our future much products in their, uh, stores, uh, so we'll be able
to generate, uh, passive income through this, uh, operation into the main future, as well
as, uh, uh, we will, uh, have our own marketplace right now.
We are in discussions, uh, it's too early to discuss about this, but I told you I was
going to give you a short alpha.
So, uh, here it is.
We, we love alpha and, and I'm actually a, more of a fan of long alpha rather than a
short alpha.
But, um, yeah, I appreciate you, um, coming on, uh, one final thing to the people listening
right now who don't know about the squares or haven't bought any of the squares.
What's your message to them?
Our message is, um, in general, don't let yourself be affected of this period.
It's a shitty period.
We are in a full bear market with, uh, strong volatility, uh, but don't let this affect yourself
into a short term, uh, zoom out, uh, look at the Solana projects because there are a lot
of builders.
We are trying to be builders as well.
Uh, you will hear about the squares.
Uh, I have nothing more to say.
The word squares, uh, it will be more common in Solana space.
That's what we, we are trying to do.
Every questions, every curiosities you have, uh, we are open to answer.
We are trying to be as transparent as possible.
Uh, we are not that type, uh, who are gonna overpromise her stuff.
We just want to keep it decent.
Some of the people understand this.
Some of the people ask us.
Some of the people avoid us because of this.
But, uh, in, uh, in, in the final, I think, uh, for the long run, uh, this project will,
will look great.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, the transparency comes through with you agreeing to come on the show today.
So I appreciate that.
Yeah, for sure.
Thank you so much.
Okay, cool.
The squares, uh, recently minted Solana project.
Um, you gotta show support to the new Solana project guys.
I know we just had an OG on Dave's ducks, but yeah, so some, uh, support to, to the new
guys as well.
But, uh, we're gonna head back in time, uh, we're gonna go back to another OG project
that's been building a long time in this space right now.
Uh, still building in the bear market.
Yaku Corp, what's up?
What's up, my man?
It is good to be here today.
Glad to see people are still hanging out and jumping into these things on this fucking
nuts Monday we have here.
Yeah, I mean, and it looked like the world was literally ending this past weekend, but,
um, yeah, the world might be, you know, we might have super-
glued it back together a little bit.
So, dude, we were, we were talking earlier, like, imagine even if this, if what happened
on Friday had happened on a Monday, we would be fucked.
Like, the fact that it happened on a Friday leading into a weekend where people had time
to, like, get their shit together by Monday morning, that alone was the difference maker
potentially in, uh, all of us having a significantly bigger headache this week.
That's actually a fact.
Um, that's a good point.
Um, we've obviously seen some SVB announcements made about consumer funds, um, but I don't
Who cares?
Because Twitter's telling me ETH and Solana are ripping, so is Bitcoin, so we're back.
We're so back.
Um, let's talk a little Yaku Corp, though, because, um, you know, you guys have been around
for a little bit now.
Um, tell me, just start, for the people who don't know Yaku Corp, what are you guys working
All right.
Do you want me to give you the full elevator pitch feeling here?
I mean, for the people in the audience, let's, let's see some thumbs up emojis, uh, reactions
if you are not familiar with Yaku Corp.
And I'll give it to you.
I'll hit you with the pitch if you're really into that.
I'm not seeing, I'm not seeing a lot of reactions.
Everyone already knows.
All right.
All right.
Let me hit you with the thumb record.
There are, let me hit you with the elevator.
There are a couple thumbs up.
Um, I don't know.
It seems like an oxymoron to say a full elevator pitch.
Like elevator pitch should be kind of short because it's like elevator ride.
So let's just, let's go.
It's a full elevator pitch.
Let's give like medium elevator pitch for Yaku Corp.
Well, by, by full, you know what I mean?
Like, like the one that's like practice, right?
Like the thing that if, if I'm really, uh, held down to it, I'm like, okay, what's, what's
the, what's the thing that I've done before, uh, that's prepped and ready.
I'll hit you with one of those.
So for everyone out there, imagine a world, right?
The digital world where the only limitation of what you can do is your imagination.
What a concept, right?
Uh, Yaku is the company that develops the Yakuverse.
So the Yakuverse is a cyberpunk world and we facilitate a multiverse of game modes to
attract a variety of users.
Everything from battle royales to racing modes are on the roadmap and our sort of focus and
principle driver behind what we do is giving power back to the people who bring life to
that world, uh, to create the experience that they want.
So it's power over your assets, obviously as NFTs to trade them, sell them, gift them,
whatever you're feeling power to design and cultivate your own experiences, whether that's
developing your own real estate, whether that's developing your own assets to sell within
the Yaku store, power to contribute to the Yaku brand, uh, through creating DAOs and subgroups
and things and power, of course, to build and monetize your own brand.
So above and beyond the game, the Yakuverse, we also have our sort of companion or showcase
application at Yaku.ai that I highly suggest everyone go check it out, create your profile.
You can manage your entire web three life there as an individual or a company.
So you can manage your portfolio. We've got a bunch of random applications for you to use
that just make your life easy, uh, like multiple send NFTs, multiple burn. Uh, we have some more
complex stuff like an automated payment system if you're a company. So if you want to set up like
ACH payments for your employees, utilizing USDC or Solana, you can set that up, customize the
frequencies with which people are paid. There's a ton of stuff. It's all 100% free. The nothing
is a gated via cost. It's just there for whoever wants to use it. You can. And we build sort of
everything on this new tool that we've been developing for the last few months called the
Yaku API. So the goal for the Yaku API is we're constantly gathering and sorting through
blockchain transactions on Solana and Ethereum and gathering data on web three users on Twitter
and discord to sort of create these anonymous user profiles to better understand what are people
in the space interested in? How are they spending their time? What are they trading? Uh, and all of
this is stuff that we've developed fully in-house ourselves over, you know, the last year, year and
a half. And, uh, our new motto, we went through and did some rebranding is, uh, build your reality
because that's the goal, man. Go into this, uh, virtual world and make it your own.
That was an amazing elevator ride. Um, yeah, love, love the pitch there. Um, quick question on the API.
So you're, you're, you're building out these user profiles and is that for your benefit for
holder's benefit? How is that actually used? So primary use cases for us internally, as we build
out like new applications for free to use within a Yaku.ai, as we build out new games or functionality
within the virtual world, we can sort of get a better idea of what are the things people are
actually taking part in, like what drives their interest rather than just guessing and creating
things that maybe there's not a need for in the market. So in generating these user profiles,
I'll ideally it's to figure out like, what are the activities, uh, and habits of users that are
out there and how can we let that sort of guide our development path?
Dave's ducks.
When ducks in Yaku world, bro, do you have 3d ducks? Cause we can get those things in like
immediately. Um, okay. We'll connect in the DMs. Okay. Interesting. Well, I mean, so that sounds
like alpha not to shill, but, um, so we've only ever incubated one project and, uh, it's cha-cha vans.
If you're not familiar with them, they're the first ever vehicle to be driven in the sandbox
and, uh, they're a Solana project. They're literally awesome. They're all, uh, like industrial
designers, all that to say, uh, they're like whole business model is they're like a metaverse
studio. And so they do 3d asset creation and they will do it like immediately based on your 2d art,
like replicating all of your traits, auto generating them so that you can have like an exact version of
your 2d one. So if that's of interest to you, anyone who's out there listening, uh, give those
guys a holler. They're literally awesome. Uh, I'm going to be next week at the game development
concert in San Francisco with one of their founders, Manchez. Uh, so we're going to be down
there hanging out, meeting some other game people, metaverse people. And, uh, they're,
they're great. They're some of my favorite people to work with.
Days docs. As can you saw receive 3d file has been located and confirmed.
Okay. Well now we got to jump into discord and get some stuff working.
This is the collaboration I didn't know I needed, but I, I, now I do. Um, and now I'll be asking you
guys when, when, when, when, when, uh, but speaking of when, uh, open alpha for, you know,
for Yakuverse, um, when is that?
It is coming this month. So we have a closed alpha that's available that we released internally
in discord. Basically the goal there being to really sort of strength test it and say, okay,
what is sort of the threshold for multiplayer we can get in here that we see, uh, what are some of
the bugs that like our community can find? And for me, that's like one of the best benefits about
being in web three is you get that two way feedback that is really, really hard to get in web two.
And then I think it's also just super undervalued in web two. And so being able to like include people
in that creative process, being able to have people who are really ingrained in what it is you're
doing and they understand the direction you're trying to take things and get that early feedback
is like, honestly invaluable. So the closed one has been available to our community for a little bit.
The open one is for sure coming out this month. If I had to take a guess, don't hold me to this.
Uh, it's likely that we'll probably have it next week. So my guess is, uh, so one of the things we
built ourselves internally is we built our own wallet connection between unreal engine and phantom.
We've been working on adding other wallets to that connection as well as having it connect directly
to our Yaku application. So whenever you connect, it will pull in like your username, it'll pull in
any badges you've earned on the app, things like that. And it can sort of like affect your gameplay
mechanisms and what you're able to access. So we've been doing some edits on that. My understanding,
knock on wood, please fucking everybody, dear God, is that the updated version of that, uh,
Chrome extension should be approved by the Chrome store tomorrow, which is really the last thing
we're sort of waiting on. Once they get that approved, we, as the team get to spend the next
like week trying to break things and make sure that everything's good. And then hopefully that
means next week we'll be dropping the open alpha for anyone to access. Don't need an NFT. Won't even
need a wallet, uh, which is maybe a little controversial, but I mean, like if we really say we want mass
adoption, we got to get some people in there and if I can get them into play a cool game that entices
them to then figure out how to get a wallet and buy my stuff, that's like the best workflow, I think.
Yeah, that makes sense. Um, and, and a lot of gamers are resistant to what we do and, uh, we want
to onboard those types of people as well. So, um, I don't think that's too controversial, at least for me.
Uh, but what's the sentiment in the community? I mean, you have an open alpha coming out soon and you're a
project that's, I mean, been around, I think for, for over a year now. Um, what's the sentiment like
in the Yaku community? I mean, it's really good right now. Honest to God. Like, I think that what
we are really benefited by is early on, we were very transparent about the complexity of what it is we
were doing. And we've tried to be very transparent in that development process. So like, as an example,
we have, uh, one of our core team members who is like one of the lead designers for the metaverse
will occasionally do, uh, like streams in discord of what he's working on that day and showing
progress. And so giving people that like look behind the curtain, I think one builds a lot of
trust and two also just lets people know that even if I haven't made an announcement for an
announcement for an announcement, which is so common in this space, right? Like attention spans are so
short. Everyone feels like I've got to make announcements for announcements. So I, I think
doing things like that, people feel comfortable not getting that same form of like over communication,
if that makes sense. Uh, and everyone feels really solid. I mean, we've had a couple new,
uh, pretty large holders jump into the community recently. Uh, I think getting good content out of
this alpha that's coming out soon has started to grow the community quite a bit. In addition to the
people who've been in it forever who have been holding and accumulating. So we're really,
I think, primed for takeoff. Like, uh, I think a big hangup with games in particular because games
just in general, like don't get the volume that like profile pick or community centered projects
get is because everyone says win, win, win, and it's takes a lot longer to develop. It is a lot more
difficult to generate like short-term excitement when you don't have like a true MVP ready that you can
sort of facilitate experiences around. So I think that as we get, especially this year closer to so
many of these first versions of these games out, you're going to see that, that switch flip.
What are some of the, the inspirations for what you guys are doing in the NFT world and even
outside the NFT world? Like what, what are you trying to, from, from just a gaming metaverse
standpoint? What do you, do you feel like this is going to be something that, uh, that you're,
you're taking inspiration from, from any particular source?
So I'd say that there's a few things we are inspired by. So one, as far as like the look,
feel, and aesthetic of the brand and the world, uh, we're definitely some like weaves. We're definitely
inspired by like those classic nineties, early two thousands, uh, futuristic cyberpunk animes
like ghost in the shell, Akita, uh, neon Genesis, right? Like definitely that sort of grainy cyberpunk,
almost post-apocalyptic future feel. As far as the actual gameplay goes, I would say that the primary
sort of feel that we are looking at is something similar to like a grand theft auto. So on our first
version of the map that's going to be available, it's going to be from the get go about half the
size of the map on fortnight. And it's going to have more multiplayer functionality as far as like
the capacity than a game of fortnight. We're going to be able to have like probably around 125 people
in a single experience, but then the feel of being on that map, I think is most similar to a grand theft
auto where we will have some early like PVP functionality sort of built in where you can like draw your
weapon and fire it. We'll have motorcycles, uh, drivable initially we'll have like proximity
chat and text chat built in there. You'll be able to like create teams if you want to have a more
private tech text, uh, channel between people. So I think that's sort of the, the feel we're going
for from like a general perspective, but overall this idea that we've really sort of honed in on
is like a multiverse of game modes. So imagine like the same map with layers on it. And on layer one
is, is the core experience to like sort of metaverse experience. I think that most people are familiar
with or have ideated layer two then is the racing game. Layer three is the battle Royale layer four
is like a domination capture the flag style game. That's sort of the future feel that we're going
forward. It all is like the same geography, but the experiences within these multiverses are catered
to like very specific gaming experiences.
You have piqued my interest greatly. When you talk about like late nineties or like two thousands
type games, um, you, you have officially, I have entered the chat room. So, um, very,
very excited to see the open alpha roll out. And so if you guys are also interested, like me,
give Yakku Corp a follow. This is a team and a project that's, that's been building for a long
time now. And they were willing to come on the Twitter spaces show to talk about it today. So
them along with some other speakers on the stage, the projects, um, they're still here. I'm still
here. We're still doing this. So yeah, I appreciate you, Yakku Corp.
Absolutely, man. Thank you for having us excited to be up here. Always stoked to hear from some of the
other homies that are still out here, just knocking stuff out like days, ducks and squares. Uh, it's,
it's not a bad day. I mean, you know, it's going to be bumpy here for a little bit, but, uh, if,
if, if everyone up here can make it through, you know, God, I mean, look at the last year,
right? Like Luna, three euros, capital FTX. Now we've got this SVB situation. Uh, if, if you can
make it through that, I think you can pretty much make it through anything. Yeah. I think we, we
definitely need a veteran discount at the movie theater. I think we're entitled to that at this
point. Uh, we've been through a lot, but, uh, I, I, I see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Crypto is the future. NFTs are the future. And, uh, it looks like we got a, maybe a future where
there'll be a days, ducks, Yakku Corp collaboration. I think that's something we can all get behind.
Um, which is why I love doing these spaces, uh, get to put people together, get, you know,
the communities together and have some fun. So, all right, we're going to wrap up today's space.
I want to thank all the projects. Again, we had, uh, dust city. We had the squares. We had
Yakku Corp retro goons. Thanks to everyone for joining. I'm going to end this space. Like I
start off all my spaces. Yo, it's cool times getting gang to my cats. Sub to my dazed ducks.
It's your boy, the American sniper, AKA the Bradley Cooper of NFTs. Going to be running this thing back
on Wednesday with some Ethereum projects. Make sure to join. Appreciate you guys so much and
have a great rest of your day. Let's go.
