We're gonna jump into Fun Ape, let's get some more people in here
Let's click that bottom right corner, that blue button
Let's go, one second
Okay, cool, it's quite cool times getting to my cats, sub to my ducks
We got Fun Ape on the stage right now, Fun Ape, what's up
What's up, what's up, I hope you're doing well, I hope everyone in the space is doing well as well
It's a pleasure to finally be able to speak with you at cool times
I've been following you for a very long time on the YouTube side as well
and some amazing content that you put out
What's up everyone, I want to see some hearts in the space
I see so many amazing PFPs down there from some amazing projects
So nice to see you all in here
Make sure to retweet the room guys, let's get some more people in here
But yeah, I'm doing good, did you want me to dive into the project?
Let's dive into it man, we've seen a lot of Ape projects
What makes this one fun?
Yeah, we really have seen a lot of Ape projects in the past year and a half
But you know, we've done something super unique
And I can't wait to tell every single one of you about what we're actually about
So Fun Ape is something that we've been working on for the last eight months
You know, it may seem as if the YAR is not animated
It is animated, every single one of them
There's also seven legendaries in the collection which are also animated
And they've sold for upwards of around 4 ETH for some of them
And bear in mind, we minted about 10 days ago
We've achieved so much already
And we're on track to achieve so much more
We've built one of the most organic communities in this space in such a short period of time
And I'm sure you guys are going to love exactly what Fun Ape is
Fun Ape is an animated Ape inspired by candy and the desire for sweets
So, we have four different people, more different artists on our team
One of them being Goose, who's the creator
He's worked for amazing brands in the space such as Trap Monkey
He's also worked for some incredible Web2 companies
And currently handles a budget of over $500,000 every single, I believe it's either month or year
Now, we also have a traits animator called Moe, who's super well known in the Middle East
With over 180,000 followers, guys
And he handles the animation side for the traits
We also do have Crypto-Keezy, who's super well known in the ball date
The Yacht Club community, he's produced some amazing animations
You guys can check it all out on our website
Or in our media multiple links in our bio
Lastly, we do have Marcus, who is our musician
And at the end, I would love to play our anthem for you guys
But essentially, I've been around in space for over a year and a half
I'm also part of the Mutant Ape community
And I've seen a lot of projects launch
And then they just disappear over a few months or weeks
We wanted to build something long term
I'm well established in the space
I've got some amazing connections with people from all over the world
And we decided to create something that was missing from the market
Now, every single person in here is wearing some form of a PFP
And you use these tweets out about that project
Or you contribute to the growth of that project
Now, with FunApes, what it allows you to do, the system that we've developed is
It allows you to be rewarded for things such as wearing your PFP
Tweeting out about the project
Put in something as your pinned tweet
Put in something in your bio
And we're tracking all of this on the back end using Twitter's API
Now, it is tweaked and essentially for completing missions on our website
You will be able to earn 8 coins
Now, that is going to be released within the next, I'd say about 7 to 10 days
And holders will get access to something called The Lab
Now, that is where all these missions will happen
And on a biweekly basis, our holders will be rewarded in 8 coins
Now, they can choose to withdraw it if they want to
But we highly recommend that it's used within our ecosystem that we're developing
So that essentially, they receive 3 mints from anything that we launch in the future
Now, the other cool aspects to tweak to earn is that
Where did you guys get the 8 coin from?
You guys are buying 8 coin and then giving it to your holders
Where did the 8 coin come from?
Yeah, great question
So, from the mint revenue, we minted out in about 30 minutes, right?
From the mint revenue, we've already purchased 25 ETH worth of 8 coin
It's currently being staked
And the emissions coming from that is being rewarded back to the holders
So, at the moment, we're generating around 638 coins every single month
Which I think is around $3000 to $4000 every single month
Now, the system that we've developed is split into different tiers
So, you know, if you are a super engaged member of a community
For example, Fun 8, you will be rewarded a lot more 8 coin
Depending on the tier that you end up in
So there's 4 different tiers
Top 100, 101 to 500, 501 to 1.5k
And anyone over 1.5k is essentially anyone that doesn't really contribute to the project
They're busy IRL or just busy in the space in general
So, anyone in that tier, they will be put into a raffle to win some 8 coin that we put aside for that group
So, you know, even if you don't want to take part in all the missions, etc.
There is still a possibility we need to win some 8 coins
Now, we minted out about .011 ETH
And, you know, when we did the calculations initially
You could make that initial investment back within about a month to 2 months
Of course, it could be a lot faster depending on the price of 8 coin
And depending on the rewards that we do give out
So, we do have further plans in the future to utilize this
When did you mint? I'm sorry, let me jump in here
When did you mint?
We minted about 10 days ago
Nice to kind of coincide with everything Yuga related going on
8 coin, you know, Dookie Dash, Superpasses, all that
I saw somebody, somebody tweeted at me yesterday
They called you a scam project in my mentions
Why would somebody say that?
I did see that someone put that tweet out
You know, there's a bunch of people that will just hate on projects and try to fight them
There is nothing that is not alright about this project
I'm completely doxed, the whole team is doxed
I am the founder of another project
Yeah, I thought that was very strange
I usually don't get those types of comments
You'd think I'd get a lot more of those comments
But someone's like scammer and I was like, what?
So, okay, all good
I gotta say, I love when projects reward their communities
Too often projects are like, hey, let's do marketing
Let's pay a bunch of influencers who don't care about our project
Who aren't even a holder, don't know anything about the project
And, you know, in a week's time after they collect their ETH, they're long gone
And I think amplifying your community for having profile pictures
For sending out tweets is really smart
How have you seen the community respond?
I mean, we got a bunch of fun apes in the crowd
You guys definitely rated the tweet, you're rating this space right now
So, you know, how united is the community so far? Ten days in?
Yeah, I mean, the community is probably one of the strongest that I've seen
Right off the lawn children are mint, right?
And believe it or not, we haven't even released any of this utility yet
Once everything is organized and we can raid or take part in increasing the engagement about the community
This is going to be, you know, this is going to be huge
And I truly believe that
So, you know, going back to the other points was the fact that we want to open this up to other communities in the future as well
And this will be super beneficial to our holders because we'll be providing the front-end UI and the back-end
Setting that all up for other communities to utilize this as well
And if they, you know, buy, let's say 25 ETH worth of 8 coin and stake it
Our holders will actually receive about 10 to 15% from these partnerships
So the rewards are just going to keep on getting bigger and bigger
Imagine if we partner with, you know, 10, 20, 30, 50 plus communities
You know, the 8 coin rewards for our holders are going to be incredible
And not only that, combining this with the community, right, and I always say community is the utility
We can do incredible things because
OpenSea sales, for example, 70% of the traffic on OpenSea is directly related to Twitter
Just think about how huge that fact is, 70% guys
And we saw the huge run-up of these NFTs in the last few weeks
And believe it or not, that was all directly related to Twitter
Because people were tweeting about these projects
And once words start to get around into all these alpha groups, it all starts on Twitter
And that is why we see such a huge increase in sales and activity on OpenSea
It's because of Twitter
Twitter is the main social media platform of Web3
Now, one of the other things that we did do as well was
Something which is super unique called Tweet to Reveal
So this hasn't been done by anyone yet in this space
We were the first ones to do this
With the tweet to earn as well, we are one of the first to do this
So with the tweet to reveal, what happened was that
We wanted to reveal the one-of-ones in the collection book
And we were tracking all of the live tweets on our website
And we were tracking the number of hashtags used, for example
Now, within the first three hours, we managed to get 10,000 tweets about funnecks, guys
In three hours, not many people or projects or celebrities do those sort of numbers
We were trending, I think, number eight in the States
And all over the world
And that's just the power of what we're utilizing
And that's just a small percentage that we've shown to everyone
So the stuff that we've got coming up is going to be incredible
We have been working on it for a very long time
And we can't wait to present it to the community
Because once this starts going, we're going to be all over Twitter, guys
And it's super powerful, you get animated
Yeah, let's talk about that
The animated aspect of it
Because you mentioned a couple notable animators at the beginning of this Twitter space
I'm with you
I don't know what the fuck Elon Musk is doing with Twitter
Bro is, like, losing all of his net worth
Twitter Blue is horrible
When really, just give us GIF profile pictures
Let us have GIF, you know, Twitter banners
Why are you betting on, you know, animating PFPs, animating, you know, bringing in animators
Why are you kind of betting on that?
Yeah, good question
So one of the main reasons is because, you know, we've seen so many eight projects in the space
But there isn't a single one that's animated
If there is, it's usually pixelated
And, you know, animated work takes a very long time to produce
And that's why I said, you know, our artist has been working on it for around eight months
So that's one aspect to it
And of course, if you're going to, for example, Discord, right?
And you have the subscription services they offer
You can actually animate your profile
Now, who knows what Elon might do in the future or Twitter or whatever
With the animated side, right?
But we would be one of the first, you know, eight projects here
That's animated that you would be able to display on Twitter as well
And if it comes to the banners, that's going to be even more incredible
You know, it is super cool artwork
You guys can check us out on OpenSea
But yeah, I hope that answered the question, by the way
So you're saying a lot of things coming up
That's great
You got to leak some alpha, though
Because you're on the Cool Times Twitter space
We got over a hundred people in here
Shout out to everyone
Let me just real quickly shout out some people in here
We're going to try to leak some alpha or pull some alpha out of you
But let me just shout out some of the homies real quick
We got Philosopher in the crowd always showing love
Mickey from Real Ones
What's up, Mickey?
We got my guy Odeka repping the plague
Philly Snow Kid
Damn, I'm not even following Philly Snow Kid back
Philly Snow Kid just shot you a follow, my dude
We got a bunch of cool dogs in the crowd
I see my guy Shiba King throwing some love
Love all the reactions
God, we got a lot of fangang in here
We got a bunch of cool dogs in here
And of course, the fun apes
Pretty strong community, bro
We got the drafts showing love as well
Yeah, you got to leak some alpha, man
You cannot go on a space with a hundred people
And not leak some alpha
Give us one thing that you could share
In the next couple months that you think will be cool
For fun apes holders
Well, I really think that increasing the reward
In some sort of way is going to be a huge factor
For not only our holders
But anyone else that might be looking into fun apes, for example
And we do have something coming up within the next week or so
I don't want to give too much away
Because, you know, one thing I stand by is under-promising
And over-delivering, right?
And I never put my words to any reason
You don't want to say that
Come on, everyone's
Don't say under-promise, over-deliver, bro
Come on, it's
You got to find a different way to say that, you know
That's been said a billion times
Let's workshop this right now
Under-promise, over-deliver
How can we say? We can say
Say a little, do a lot
I don't know
We got to think of another thing
But I'm with you, man
And I definitely think
Rewarding your community with ape coin
That's fucking serious
That's pretty nice
I mean, hopefully you have enough runway
Where you can sustain that
And increase rewards, like you said
But right now, I think that's awesome
And I think kind of leveraging your community
To be your biggest marketers and cheerleaders
And proponents on Twitter
Is the best thing to do
So hats off to you, man
And thanks for coming on today
To talk about fun apes
Yeah, any time, it's a pleasure
And thank you for the kind words
And guys, if you want to check us out
Check out the community
And see what's upcoming in the next few weeks
Just, you know, follow us
If you want to get into the community
You can always buy one up of OpenSea
And once again, thank you all for being in this space
And make sure to retweet, guys
Let's get some more people in here
For some reason, your voice sounds super quiet to me
So I'm going to drop down to listeners
And then see if I can hear you properly
But I appreciate you so much
Fangang Paka, is my voice super low right now?
Guys, fine for me
Fine for me
Alright, yeah, well, let's round out fun apes
Go give them a follow
Honestly, shot them the invite to today's space
Because I saw them all over Twitter
And it's really cool when a project comes out
And they're excited
And it's fun
And that's what Web3's all about
Getting a Discord, going on Twitter
Repping your PFPs, having fun with it
So shout out to fun apes
Thanks again
Without further ado, yeah, we got my guy Paka on stage
What's up, Paka?
So, times, how are you?
Nice to finally be here
I've been following you for a while
And your spaces are always super interesting
And a lot of people that I haven't heard before
Up on stages and share new stuff
So it's a learning process for me, actually, to be here
It's super nice to have this opportunity
To share a bit more about what we've been doing with Fangang
Absolutely, it's been a long time coming
I don't know what the hell
I think I've been sleeping under a rock
Like Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants
Because I don't know why I haven't had the Fang Gang
On the Twitter space
Some of my favorite people on Twitter are repping the Fang Gang
What is it, Chris? I think
Yeah, he's everywhere with the Fang Gang
Give us the little 101 for Fang Gang
You guys have been around for a minute
You guys are kind of OGs in the space
Give us a little 101 for the people who are not baptized with Fang Gang
Yeah, we'll do
Actually, we've been around for a year and a half now
So we're not the shiny new toy anymore
So it kind of gets way more challenging along the way, you know
Because you did all that you could have done for, I would say, in the first year or so
And then you need to keep on adding new stuff
You need to keep people entertained and excited about what you're building
And that has been like our journey for the past year and a half
We minted out in August 2021
And it was crazy
It was during the bull time
So we minted out in less than eight minutes
So we weren't even expecting it, to be honest
We only started communicating the project a week before that
So it was crazy time
So we were actually super pushed to start delivering as soon as we minted out
And we've been doing a lot ever since
Like almost, I would say, I think it was just a month after we released our site collection
The Pixel Fangs, which people can still claim if you find an unclaimed Fangster
Basically, it's a Pixel collection that you can claim for each Fangster
And alongside it, we released a game called Fang Runner
So it was like a couple of crazy weeks when we released that collection and the game
And people could score
You know, a bit like what's happening with Dookie Dash now
But on a smaller scale for us at the time
And people were basically beating scores to get super rare Pixel Fangsters
Which we reserved the first four spots for
So it was kind of a crazy week
And then we started building like ever since
We created our own Microverse called New Fang City
Where you can connect your wallet, check your Fangster
Go to the wardrobe, add new trades to it
You can go to the bank and see what happens with our token
We have a token for small things inside our Microverse
And we actually did a merch release with it in August
And then we have more fun stuff coming out
I mean, it's hard to know all the lists
Because we've been doing a lot for the past year
And now I think we're on a phase that we've proven ourselves
We've done a lot
We have a strong community, a solid community
People that show up every day
You see some of them here in the crowd
You see them on Twitter every day
And now we are starting to branch out the brand
So we've worked a lot on utility for the past year in the house
And now we are trying to establish ourselves
And working our way to become a character brand beyond Webtree
We're not abandoning Webtree, that's not the thing
But we are building beyond it
And we're trying to get more people interested in Webtree
By using some Webtree tricks, I would say
I mean, we released a clothing brand called Wild Fangs
You see Fangsters wearing it, and people can wear it too
We actually released our first physical collection
In Christmas, our Fangster plush
So it's been a super success
And right now we're trying to explore new markets
That's the thing
We are exploring the IP
We have a strong character
Fangsters are recognizable
If you see them on the timeline, you instantly recognize them
And we are basically working on the IP
Establishing ourselves as a character business
And we are giving more power to holders along the next year
So that's basically what we're working on
Giving them more tools to customize their Fangsters
More tools to create content
And more power over their IP
So they can actually make use of it beyond the PFP
Yeah, you know what's been underserved in NFTs is like
What do you guys do with the pixels?
Like, I liked, you know, subducts did this
They gave us a pixelized version of the ducts
They gave us like a 3D
It'd be cool to get some different versions of our PFPs out there
I think that's definitely something more people could do
Like you mentioned a video game
You mentioned merch
What do you fancy?
What does Fangang fancy themselves as?
Like are you guys pushing forward as a branding project
Gaming project, community
Like what's the buzzword that you would call your project?
We like to call ourselves the backbone of creative culture in Webtree
That's what we're going with right now
And it's actually fun that you asked that question
Because for a while, we've been developing on so many levels that
It's hard to define ourselves
So we had to stop at some point and figure out
Well, how are people perceiving us? What are we?
And that's why we are exploring two things that have been super strong
Ever since the beginning on Fangang
One is, I know this is cliche, but the community
And when I'm talking about community
It's about empowering them and empowering their creative side
If you look at some people that came out of Fangang
And created new projects
There's a lot of talented people that started connecting within our Discord
Discords right now are on the low
But back then, it was super active
And that's where people met and did a lot of stuff
So we are kind of supporting creators within our community
We have a lot of artist editions that we are airdrop to our holders
We always do events based on that
During Halloween, during Christmas, during our anniversary
So we usually invite other artists to work with us
To deliver more content to our holders
But at the same time, to give them more exposure
So that's one of the things we are working on
Basically empowering the community on their most creative side
And on the other hand, we have the characters
And we have a super strong IP
I know everyone says this, but we created a character
There's a whole storyline behind it
Fangsters live in New Fang City
Fangsters have a lot of different characteristics
You can see them as characters from an animated series
So that's what we will be working on in the future
Giving them more power as characters
And not just as DFPs, you know
So I would say we are a character brand, as you mentioned
But at the center of it, there's the community
Yeah, you bring up the future
And so I'll let that lead into my next question
What are you excited for in 2023 for Fang Gang?
Any fun new wrinkles you want to implement?
Yeah, well, I think we can talk about two things
One is actually starting to happen on the market
Which is the customization side of your PFP
So basically, you're not stuck with
What you were given on mint or what you bought on secondary
But you will be able to customize your characters
So we are doing that on-chain for Pixel Fangsters
We have been doing that for a while off-chain for Fangsters
Because we don't want to mess with the metadata of those characters
But for Pixel Fangsters, those are kind of our playgrounds
So we are going to do on-chain new traits for them
That's something I'm excited about
And we've been working on it for a while
On the other hand, on the character side
I think the physical items part is what's exciting me the most right now
Because we are working to deliver our plushies
And new physical items that we should be creating soon on new markets
And we are now starting to explore Japan and Korea
To enter the character business through small stores
To create culture instead of just marketing to culture
You have to be one with the people
You have to start small
And then you create a brand that lasts for years
So that's what we're working on right now
It's a bit of behind-the-curtains work
You don't see a lot until it's out
But that's what we've been focusing on right now
Establishing partnerships and getting the brand out there
So we can get more people from web 2 to discover us on web 3
So I want to just take a step back now
I want to pick your brain
You're definitely a long-term builder in this space
Somebody I admire and respect
We actually got kind of connected in the last week or so
Because I reached out to you about a project I'm launching
Something's fishy
And I wanted you to be a part of the community
And we kind of made a bold choice not to do a Discord
You mentioned earlier about Discord
And kind of the difference now in the Discord
Between maybe early on
As just a founder
Why would you say Discord is a must in 2023?
Or is that something you feel like might be phased out of web 3
As we go into 2024, 2025?
Well, what I've been watching is people moving to Twitter
On a daily basis
So you spend way more time on Twitter
And way less time on Discord
Because you have like a ton of service to check
And you don't have time for all of that
So for me, Discord is like your home base
You can drop announcements there
You can do exclusive stuff there
Because you can token gate the channels and all of that
So it's a simple and easy way to do that
But for me, it's getting less and less attention
On a daily basis
I see less people active on Discord
And more people engaging on Twitter
So I don't know
To be honest, I'm hoping in the future
We have a more decentralized tool for that
Like to have your
To be able to communicate your stuff
And to be able to interact with your holders
On a more gate-cap level, per se
Twitter could do so much more
I mean, there's no real like at everyone button on Twitter
There's no way to do mass comms on Twitter
Or just to do lists
I mean lists are
There's a lot of stuff we can do
Before we let you go, I just wanted to sink my teeth
See what I did there?
Sink my teeth a little bit more in a fangang
Because the art is pretty nostalgic
I'm looking through here
We got Arthur Sparks
He's got the clean fangang
A lot of different traits
They all stick out
It's a PFP I've been seeing on the timeline for a long time
As the founder, what are your favorite traits in the collection?
I mean, you look at my PFP and you can see some of those
The fur coat is definitely one of those
Grills are one of the community all-time favorites
And I would say the green, like the iconic green
And let me see, probably the bunny ears
I mean, there's a lot of them
I usually change like every month my favorite traits
But there's some that stick
What are yours?
My favorite?
I mean, I'm honestly not even going to sit up here and pretend like I know the traits that well
Is that rainbow puke? Is that a real trait, the rainbow puke?
That's the one that I might be sending like a wee spit on later
Before I let you go, what else man?
Let's get the word out about fangang
You're a long-term builder here
What else should people know about the project before we head out?
Well, I think as opposed to what I've just said
But if you hop on Discord and you want to ask like some questions
Because there's like a long, long list of the things we've done
And it's kind of hard to catch up with a project in just 15 minutes as we have
I think the most exciting thing that we're working on is empowering our holders
I'm going to share just a bit of what we have planned for New Fang City Next
We want to develop personal ID cards for fangsters
Where you'll be able to name your fangsters, give them a personality
And who knows, maybe they'll become characters that will be used in something else
That's something we have been discussing and that's something I really want to happen
So yeah, we're basically developing the storyline in the character part of the brand
But there's a lot of utility behind
There's a lot of fun features we've developed already that you can still access
There's a lot of partners that we have on board
Like NordVPN, like Bosun for decentralized commerce
We have a lot of partners working with us in a lot of stuff
And yeah, it's hard to share it all in 15 minutes
But hop on Discord and we'll answer all your questions because we're here for that
Yeah, definitely
Okay, cool
Fang Gang, Endurin Brand, Paka, Endurin Founder
Glad we could finally connect
It's been a long time coming
Let's do it again soon
Because we could probably do another like 15 or 20 minutes
But we're going to keep it a tight ship right now
Yep, let's do that
Let's talk again soon my guy
Alright, nice talking to you Cool Times
Go get Paka a follow and then go click on that little Fang Gang PFP
The main account
They got some cool stuff
Just tweeted out their tweet message sticker packs out
Which, you know, why not? Branding, right?
So yeah, go give them a follow
Before we get to Hasbula, I gotta ask my guy, Luke
Luke, yo, how many hours a day do you think you're on Twitter Spaces?
What is up?
Probably, how long am I awake every day?
Six to, or how long am I asleep?
Six to eight hours
So, probably ten to, what, ten to fourteen hours
Yeah, man, you might need some help
It's okay though
I mean, I've been, recently I've been having a lot of fun
Now that the market's kind of getting a little more hot
There's more volume, a lot of different plays to be made
I've been not only trading, but meeting a ton of great people
Like, I didn't meet him
I didn't meet either of them, but today I got to talk to Habula Live
And address him as Habibi
And I got to meet Mr. Rothschild
Behind the Hasbula NFT account
And then, you know, just throughout all the time that I've been in the NFT space
I've met people like you, Jameson, Mfair, Keith
You know, the list goes on, there are a ton of great people to meet
All the heavy hitters, for sure
You know, you know what they say, don't meet your idols
But yeah, no, I see you got the Hasbula
Wait, wait, don't, don't meet your idols because then you're disappointed or what?
No, I don't, I'm just kidding, it's like, you know, I don't know
No one's an idol in Web 3, we're all fucking losers
But yeah, you got the, actually the one person that like Hasbula is actually cool as shit
So I see you got the Hasbula little guy on your PFP
Let's bring in, I think we got Rothschild on the Hasbula account
What's up, Rothschild?
GM, GM, cool tons, I appreciate you having me here
Of course, bro
Yo, when is the reveal?
So the reveal is at 7pm Eastern time
So we've got about three, three and a half hours left
So, celebrity NFTs usually get a pretty bad rap
I'm surprised, people seem to kind of fuck with the Hasbula NFTs
So I don't know what you guys like specifically did, but good job
Because celebrity NFTs usually do terrible
But one thing that I really convinced that you guys are in the trenches is
Where is it?
Somebody in the crowd I was looking at earlier had, I don't know if it's something you guys
Oh yeah, somebody named Nickpop420
They have a Hasbula PFP
I don't know if this is something you guys leaked out
But it's literally the, it's like a, like the D-Spy like punk style Hasbula
Like he's got the 3D glasses, the hoodie and the pipe
So that's a total homage to kind of like OG Crypto
So talk about some of the traits
Because it seems like you guys are actually kind of tapped in with Web3 with these traits in mind
Yeah, so we wanted to keep it unique
At the same time, we know we're not the front runners here
We acknowledge everyone that's come before us
So anything that we can really do just to acknowledge that everyone else has paved the way
To be able to create an environment that we can come into and give back to everybody
We were on a space here today with Hasbula and he actually got asked
How he felt about the influencer status with NFT projects and all that
In Russian because he doesn't speak English
But the translation was basically, he wants to change the perception
Because we all know how influencer projects usually go
It's a pump and dump, everyone loses money, the influencer makes it
He came on and said, I don't care about the money
That's why we did .05 mint price
It's all about the image and kind of getting out there
Exposing himself to something that he enjoys
And just taking the market over in that way
It's also like the right type of celebrity project
Like I remember when I first got into space
Like I was like, oh, Floyd Mayweather's dropping an NFT project
Maybe I can like, you know, get them on a Twitter space
Where it's like Floyd, like no one really cares about Floyd
But Hasbula is like when I'm on crypto Twitter
People are memeing or using Hasbula pictures
And it's like, feels like he's very much a part of meme culture
And joking and fun
So what's kind of the approach you guys want to take
You know, this is a quote unquote celebrity NFT
What are you guys, what kind of approach are you guys keeping it fun
Or is there some tokenomics here
Give me a little bit of breakdown of the project
I'm not very familiar
Yeah, so I'll touch on a couple of things
As far as the meme ability
He is, hands down, the funniest person that there is
Just him being himself is pure comedy gold
So he doesn't even have to try
Anything that gets created of him doing is amazing
We actually have a meme contest going on right now
For the next hour and 15 minutes
If you create a Hasbula NFT meme, hashtag it has bullish
The winner is going to get two free airdrop to him
Pre-reveal, just a small alpha there
And then tokenomics, yes, that is in the works as well
Our CEO, Circa, is just an absolute genius
He's working on all this stuff tirelessly in the back end
That will be coming
As well as, we have two games in development right now
One is with Sandbox and the other is self-funded by us
Creating that on Unreal Engine 5
I've seen the screenshots and it's insane
Do you guys think you might be biting off more than you can chew going tokenomics
Don't people just want the memes?
Yeah, and it kind of goes hand in hand with who Hasbula is
And what he stands for is
If you're going to do something, you might as well go all in
We don't want to just put out a half-assed influencer project
If we're going to do it, and it's going to be Hasbula
We're going to go all in for it
Everyone that did mint or watched our mint go through
Or the airdrop that we did today
Just hats off to our dev team, they're absolutely wonderful
Everything that they've done has been top tier
How do you win over Web 3?
Because I see my guy, Luke
He just posted a Hasbula meme up here
He's got the Hasbula PFP on his
Damn, this dude is doing so many crying emojis
Are you really laughing that hard, Luke?
You're not even laughing at all
You have a completely straight face right now and you're sending crying emojis
I do not have a straight face
It's like there are very few times on the Twitter space
Where I feel like you actually laugh
Like you laugh your ass off, excuse me
But right now I am definitely internally laughing
And I just think it's funny that you're internally laughing
I've got to give my hat off to you
You're a grinder, bro
We've got to chop it up in the DM's
You're on every fucking Twitter space
Ross Child, people like Luke
I've seen Twitter threads where people are positively talking about Hasbula NFT
How do you win over Web 3?
I feel like you guys have kind of crushed it
We saw Porsche, very different circumstance
Obviously
But Porsche, textbook, how the fuck do we ruin, you know, a brand
How do we not do a drop
How did you guys kind of massage this thing
And get, you know, people like Luke and myself were like, cool
Hasbula NFT, we're in
Yeah, so it kind of goes back to the meme ability of it
That he just brings joy to everybody
But even further than that, just me coming from the team
Directly interacting with holders with our community
With our members
We paid all our respects to every big project
You can't come in as a corporation like Porsche
Which sucks that that happened to them, but it is what it is
And just try to, like, throw your weight around of who you are
It's all about a respect thing
And we respect the culture and want to provide back to that
Which, in a way, with all the memes and everything
It kind of goes hand in hand
But it's all about
Being humble and grinding it out
And doing the things that we need to do
And giving back to those who have been with us from the start
Alright, so what are we looking at
We're looking at reveal in, like, almost two hours
Leak us some traits
Let's do some, let's do some insider trading
What are we sniping immediately
Is there a gold Hasbula
There is a gold Hasbula
That is a grail
Give me some traits
Throw some out
We got gold Hasbula, what else?
Yeah, what token IDs are the one of ones, bro?
Dude, I wish I knew
Ryan Carson might know
No, but give us some more traits
See, I just tweeted some out
Let me pin those to you
So these are
These are some one of ones that are coming out today
Damn, yo, cool times
That little thing that you just said
Is something that wildly a lot of people don't know about
I actually didn't know that till, like, two days ago
That's crazy stuff, man
See, there's some of the one of ones that are
In our collection, they're not considered one of ones
But something else that I thought was really cool
That Hasbula wanted to incorporate
Most projects, not all, but 99% of them
You get the generic skin tones
From completely white all the way forward
With his condition and kind of being treated differently his whole life
He wanted to incorporate that in some way
And what he came up with was
We actually have a Vililago trait
Which I've personally, I've never seen that, correct me if I'm wrong
But I've never seen
Traits that kind of incorporate everybody
What do you mean? There's, like, a black Hasbula?
It's the Vililago where the skin tone patches
So it's not consistent skin tone across
Let me see if I can find one
That sounds a little weird
Texas Tech, okay
Oh, that's like Patrick, is that supposed to be Patrick Mahomes or something?
Yeah, that's Patrick Mahomes' college jersey
This shit's pretty funny
I'm not gonna lie
Okay, so after reveal
What do you guys crush in some spaces later?
You mentioned the giveaway you guys are doing
What else do you have in store for afterwards?
Yeah, so we actually have our Twitter community
That's headed up by one of our members
We had Hasbula on a space about an hour ago
So we get them on as frequently as possible
Just to interact and let people come up and ask questions
And just kind of engage with them
But further than that, it's just continuing to push on everything that we're doing for the community
And you said it earlier, and I hate to sound cliche, so I'm not even gonna attempt to
But it's just, just because mental's over doesn't mean that we stop working
It's even more dedication and time now
To deliver everything that we're pushing out for everybody
What else have you worked on?
You mentioned your gigabrain dev earlier
Do you guys have a track record?
Can you share what you guys have worked on?
So he actually has his own company
And I don't want to mispronounce it, so let me look it up
So it's Mountway Capital Investment Fund
He's the founder and CEO of that
He's an NYU grad
I graduated from Harvard
May of 21
And that's kind of the connection there
Cool, alright
Yeah, Hasbula NFT
I'm looking at the Twitter banner right now
On the Hasbula NFT account
There's a Walter White Hasbula
So if that's something you thought about before
And you never thought you'd be able to own that NFT
You'll be able to do that
Sweet, okay
Thanks to Ross Child
Good luck on the reveal
And I guess we'll be seeing some Hasbulas
Across the Twitter timeline
Wouldn't be a first, though
We've been seeing Hasbula as a meme for a long time
So I think a lot of people will be having fun with this project
And tell Hasbula I said hello
Absolutely will do
I appreciate you having us
If you guys want, enter that contest for the memes
And we'll be airdropping some Hasbula NFTs soon
Yeah, I think my guy Luke on stage is really gunning for that meme
For that meme contest
I heard there was special utility when you hold five
Of the generative 10k piece collection
But maybe I'm wrong
Yeah, so kind of going into the utility
Not to take up too much time
I'll make it quick
Holding the NFT is your actual access pass
To all Hasbula events
And we're in the early stages of planning his
2023 world tour right now
Fuck yeah, Hasbula
Yeah, world tour
That makes sense
Okay, cool
Thanks again, Ross Child
Hasbula NFT revealing
You know, for all you trainers, flippers out there
Maybe someone to watch out for
We are going to move on now
To a very different type of project
Going from memes to
My guy Jameson Hill over at Shell's orb
Jmo, what's up?
What up, buddy
How's it going, dude?
GM, GM, GM
Great to talk to you, man
I heard some alpha
I don't even know if I'm supposed to think this
But somebody on the Shell's orb account says
You guys have a meeting with OpenSea later
Boom, I probably just broke an NDA or something
What is that all about?
What do you guys mean about it?
So we're doing a drop with OpenSea
We partnered with them
And it's coming up on the 31st
And so we just have a little kind of catch-up call to
bring together the marketing plans
And figure out
We created a schedule
We let them know what our marketing plans were
And we're going to add them into the mix
See if they could join some of our spaces
And then hopefully set up some sort of OpenSea spaces
And tweets and stuff like that
Yeah, not a bad partner to have
Yeah, so you're doing the public mint
January 31st, 840 NFTs
What is this exactly?
I know about the original mint you guys did
What is this second mint?
Yeah, so originally the collection was designed to have 9,000 pieces in it
And we were supposed to be the first project to mint on the Binance decks
Which never actually showed up
So that's why we minted on the day we did
The decks were supposed to launch that day
And so we've been sort of sitting in limbo for the last kind of five months
Like, oh hey, we have all these pieces
All sorts of characters in the collection
And we ended up partnering with OpenSea
And we were like, hey, can we sort of switch our launch pad contracts
To work with you guys and mint the rest of these pieces out
Because the way our contract was designed
We couldn't go back to our normal mint
We had a function inside of the contract called a launch pad function
Which allows us to integrate with a third party provider
Like a third party website
And so we needed to find a partner
OpenSea sort of stepped in
And now we've formed what I'm hoping could be a really big partnership
Hopefully be able to do co-branding
Like co-collab events, IRL, and stuff like that
Yeah, I mean
Is anyone like fighting that at all
That you're kind of adding supply or that's kind of par for course
So we were very vocal at the beginning
And all throughout that the collection was 9,000
And after we minted
We gave out about I guess 260 NFTs to holders
Through various types of giveaways and stuff like that
Those are the unrevealed NFTs that you could see if you went to the collection right now
And people liked that
I think they're really excited
The community in general is really excited to see where this goes
And there's one special thing that
You know, having this extra time allowed us
Is that we were able to design more one of ones to go into the collection
So there's a lot of extra really cool art
That is going to be included in this drop
That if we sort of, you know, did a mint
Or did the public sale right after the pre-sale
It wouldn't have ended up in the collection
So I'm super excited for people to see all of this
You know, all of the kind of new characters and new imaginations
That the artist team came up with over the last five months
Yeah, I think there's so much more to explore
In the shells or projects
I mean you guys are doing a lot of stuff
I am one person who goes on NFT websites
Some people don't
I do because there's usually bits of crumbs of alpha there
One thing I was excited about to see on the shells or website
Which go onto shells
Or the Twitter account just joined the stage here
So go give them a follow
But we're going to be able to retreat and earn orb energy soon
That sounds fun, what does that mean?
Yeah, so this is actually super exciting
We recently launched our retreating function
So we have moonbirds like soft staking built into the contract
Which if anybody's used, you know
So when you stake, it doesn't leave your wallet
You still get to show off all of your shells inside of your open sea platform
And we just partnered up with the guys over at Island Labs
Who if you don't know them, they built and designed space doodles
So I actually have a call probably right after this with them
To sort of go over the staking platform
And essentially you're going to be able to stake all of your shells
And then earn this orb energy
Which is going to be redeemable for different types of rewards
Access to our future mints
We have a couple of free mints that are coming up over the next couple of months
And you'll be able to claim your spot in those through redeeming this orb energy
And as we move that part of the project forward
We'll add in all sorts of other partner redeemable rewards
And evolve that program
It'll start out pretty simple
But the goal is to really add a bunch of value for holders in there
That just for stake in their shells
They get something back over and over and over again
And they can accumulate this orb energy
And if we turn it into something even incredibly special in the future
They'll be ahead of the game
What you guys are building is pretty impressive
And I know there's a lot of conviction within this project
And I know a lot of projects have conviction
And I'm not just saying a shells orb
Like I know the people who are holders
And they have a ton of conviction
I think right now more people need to know about the project
What's something you could tell us that you think
People don't know about the project or overlooking
That's a really cool element
Yeah, so, okay
Yesterday was a big announcement for Doodles, right?
Doodles purchased an animation lab
And so what is that?
Please don't fud my bags
Dude, no, bro
Don't do this
I am, dude
Okay, good
Listen, I bought my first Doodles
I don't know
A couple weeks ago, super stoked about it
I was on the phone with Varun from Island Labs
Who built Space Doodles
And I launched him into space
And it was a really cool thing
It felt a little popsicle
I know, dude
Trust me, I know, dude
Your $100,000 PFP is giving me a little bit of FOMO here
Not gonna lie
But what does that mean for Doodles?
They're gonna be able to do really freaking cool shit
And so something that we kind of haven't really announced formally
Is that we partnered with the Niece Brothers from Umbrella Academy
Which is a number one hit anime
Or hit is a live action show on Netflix
But they've been working for the past four months
And probably two weeks ago they submitted to us
The first draft of the Shell's kind of TV series pilot lore
And it's freaking dope
So over the course of the next couple months
Every few weeks we're gonna be releasing a new animation
Which is going to be the animation of the pilot
So the first scene is gonna come out in a couple weeks
And the holders are gonna get to see what the actual world is going to be
We're a little bit different than most of the NFT projects on the market
In that we're really trying to build something that can transcend Web 3
And bridge us into Web 2 while bringing people back to Web 3
So in this TV series
The ATM, the bank of the future, is OpenSea
So when the characters go to take out some cash from the bank
It's OpenSea
And so you can imagine what's the blockchain of the future
We're gonna be promoting Web 3 to hopefully as many people as possible
Through this interactive series which hopefully gets picked up on Netflix
Hulu, Amazon, etc.
Who knows? That's to be told
But yeah, that's the special thing that we're really super stoked about
Cool, yeah, so...
What is it? Mint in a week
How do people get involved?
Yeah, so we're doing...
There's a public whitelist raffle on pre-mint
You can go and enter in there
There's also a raffle for holders
So if you own a Shellzorb NFT
Or one of our items collection, which is the Amulets
We dropped that at the beginning of this year
You get one entry
And yeah, those are the two ways to sort of hop on that whitelist
Or I know buckets from our team
And some of the other guys have been partnering up with communities
To get people some whitelist bots
So it's very tough for somebody like me
And I'm sure a lot of people in this space
To keep track of every project that we're interested in
It seems like...
I think we had you on a Twitter space back in August
So apologies that I don't have all the gaps filled in
But I thought one of the cool things when we talked about last time
Was kind of the evolutionary process of actual Shellz
How is that kind of...
How did that kind of transpire?
Because I think it was a Shell
Now I'm seeing cool turtles that looked like Ninja Turtles
How did that whole kind of artwork evolutionary process play out?
Yeah, absolutely
So the Shellz are the main characters that are part of the lore
And we're working on our upcoming collection
Which is a humanoid based collection
The story is that turtles live above ground
And humans live below ground
So that's pretty much all we've released in terms of the lore
And with these animations
The community is slowly going to learn what's really going on
And I'll tell you this
We've told the lore story a bunch of times
It's changed
The Niece Brothers came in
They took our concept
And reworked it
When I read this document
I had goosebumps all over my arms
I was like, holy moly
This is so freaking dope
I'm not a writer
I'm a creative guy, I'm an artist
But I'm not a writer
And these professionals came in
And they are cooking up something
So freaking cool
That I just think that people are going to be drawn to it
To draw into the storylines
The characters that we're building
It's really going to be something cool
A lot of people fade
Storytelling NFTs
Why are you bullish on them?
So there's a couple of things
Inside of NFTs
There's digital identity
There's flipping making money
Holder utility
A good story
Is something you never forget
You could look back at a story
When you were a kid
Maybe one of your dad's friends told you
Some little tiny story
You could remember that story
Stories are things that stick in people's minds
For very long times
And they don't dissipate
Like a lot of other things
Fads and trends
Coolness, etc.
Goes away
But a story doesn't
And I think
People inside of Web3
Communities
They're...
We're all nerds at the base of it
There's a thousand people inside of
NFT collecting
Or something like that
Active sort of people
And you could forget about that one little
Amendment you did five years ago
Look back in your wallet and be like, oh shit
I can't believe I'm into that crap
But when there's a story
Attached to it
It gives you a reason to
Want to share the story
I don't know if you've ever been told a story
And two days later
You went and told your friend about it
But I think that's what
Storytelling NFTs bring to the market
And just like
A serial television show
There is something to fall along with
And I think
I think the core challenge
For NFT projects
In the ever changing climate
Is to retain attention
So if you can do that in an interesting way
Just like a serial television show
That's a great way to do it
Right on, thanks again to
Jameson from Shells
Or go give them a follow
In a week they're doing another mint
They're minting out
Less than a thousand pieces
And apparently some cool one of ones in there
Yeah, and also
One last thing
There is an actual
Public Mint
So at 2pm eastern
The un-minted stuff
From the whitelist
We're not whitelisting the whole thing
There is a chance to pick it up on public
So for anybody
Who doesn't really like the whole whitelisting
Thing, you might be able to mint one
In a public sale
Cool, yeah
Definitely
Definitely want to turn those post-notities on
Follow ShellsOrb
And I'd be really
Excited to see them on the front page of OpenSea in a week
Thanks again, Jameson
Yeah, thanks so much, really appreciate it
Cool, yeah
We're cranking along here, guys
We really are
Not slowing down
Now we got
CoolDogs, we got my guy
Mark Fair
What's up, Mark
Hello, how are you?
I saw the dog you picked
Recently as well, big support
How are you CoolTimes as well?
Good, hey man
I gotta start off with a pretty serious
Question, I've been seeing some stuff
Kind of, you know, just something
I need to get off my chest
Who let the dogs out, alright
You thought I was gonna just
Intro you and be all monotone
And hi, this is Mark Fair
CoolDogs in the house
We got my guy, Mark, let me pull up my
CoolDogs here, let me show everyone I picked up the other day
I sent out one of those tweets
That everyone thinks is just engagement farming
But I actually went through and I was like
Alright, who's riding, who's not
And why not take a bet on a great
Community, got great team
Leaders, and I saw
This fishbowl
Near the floor and I was like, man, I gotta rescue this dog
You know, it's the right way to do it
Just gotta rescue this dog
How excited, Mark, are you to have
Me, CoolTimes
In your community
Surreal, right? It's incredible
To be honest
I'm almost speechless, but
Generally though, it's a huge honor
And I know that we've been
We've been kicking in the DMs, we've been on the timeline
And I've been on the space before
And honestly, it generally just meant a lot
Not to be too sappy, but it meant a lot
And sorry, look at this, Mark
What a banger as well
Look, that's an absolute steal
I have to admit, that's an absolute steal
Near the floor as well, with the wolf t-shirt
Nah, you're killing it, Mark
So, yeah, we got my guy, retired roadman on the stage
What's up, SK, I see that you
You did the right thing, you put a cool dog PFP on
Let's just act like we've been here before, you know
Yeah, you know, I actually got FOMO for a second
Because I saw that listed near the floor
And I was like, alright, cool, like
I'm a big weith guy, so I have weith
And I was like, alright, I'm gonna put a little weith bit on that
Put a little, I think it was like, you know, a little weith bit on it
Five minutes later, I'm like, ah, did they accept that bid?
And I went back and I checked, and I'm like, they didn't
I was like, huh, I'm just gonna fucking buy it
So, yeah, sometimes you just gotta take the plunge, guys
No, but on a serious note, I joined the cool dogs community
As you can see, my pin tweet, and pretty excited, pretty warm welcome
As you can see from the replies there
And that's always fun when you buy an NFT
And you're automatically a part of something
Like I got added to some group chats
So this is kind of my little testimony about what it's like to be a dog holder
But Mark, question for you
How does one become one of these like trendy founders?
I feel like you kind of came out of nowhere, at least for me
Like, you kind of somehow inserted yourself in like, you know
When we talk about Lucanets, and Wob, and Pawns, and ice bags from Compi Pandas
You've somehow wedged yourself into like these trendy new founders
How the hell did that happen?
I mean, I don't think, I don't think I'm anywhere near that level at all
I see Luca with her hands, I'll respect that in a moment
But I don't know, I just, I changed my approach to Twitter
And I didn't really tweet anything different
But I did a lot of studying of how Twitter works and how to
Because it's not about NFTs, it's a double-edged sword
You've got to produce, but you've also got to let people know you're producing
And I feel like we were doing the first part quite well for the position we're in
But we weren't doing, and I wasn't doing the second part as well
So I basically put a load of the top names on notice
I talked to a lot of these founders that you mentioned
And that they were gracious enough to give me their time
I came on spaces such as yourself
You were one of the first people to give me a larger opportunity on the space
And I just grinded hard on Twitter
And basically kept pushing the project, pushing what I believed in
Just tried to be the best me I could, I guess
That was, yeah
Let's go to some hands, Luc
Yo, sorry
I gotta say that I have seen Mr. Mfair around Twitter
Since he was just, I think you were just a community manager at Cool Dogs
And you've stuck around through all the ups and downs of the project
And, you know, you actually had the community's best interest in mind
And while you were doing that, you were just consistently here
Steady doing your thing and making connections
So I do not have any Cool Dogs, but I frickin' love dogs, dude
I have a dog walking and sitting business, for God's sake
So I should definitely get my hands on a Cool Dog
And, you know, like him saying that you're at the likes of said founders
With a lot of attention and pull is probably deserved
Given how long you've been around just doing your thing
No, thank you very much
Yeah, I'm terrible at compliments
It's a good and very bad trait of mine
But, yeah, it's just that I did start as a, I started in the community
And then I went up more to community manager
And then took the reins of the project a bit later on
And I don't want to, like, bore people with the whole story of Cool Dogs
But essentially, you could, some people would have classes as a D,
Row guide classes as a project
Where half of the people who started did not want it to continue
And didn't set it up that way
And the artist and developer who did
Is still working really hard with us
And we're pushing and rebranding the collection to greater heights this year
Yeah, let's go to RR
SK, you're up
Bro said RR, I respect you
Yo, you threw me off, no one has ever called me RR
Retired road man
Yeah, bro, you threw me off
RR, it says SK, but I'm going with my own nickname
You're going with RR
I respect it, yeah
It seems like that's going to be your thing from now
Maybe it's going to catch up
But anyway, I was just really willing to echo the same point you put across Cool Dogs
Which is, you know, you see Mark kind of come out of nowhere
I've known Mark in this space for about a year
Kind of like the same Luke said
He's really kind of cemented himself, wedged his way between these founders
Just by being an active person at the forefront
Sticking around, delivering value over and over again for the community
Listening to the community's needs
And really just being at the forefront
You see kind of like Pons and WAB
Like you said, at the forefront
Kind of building in public and these kind of founders
Who are kind of building in public these days
It's what you want to see from a founder
I think that's why Mark has done such a great job of cementing his name
Like you said, he kind of just came out of nowhere
We were talking about NFT inspects
He was up there in top 50
I was like, bro, he was just non-stop grinding
Big follow after big follow
And yeah, the man really has done an incredible job
In keeping the spirits up of the community and delivering value over and over again
So I know Mark hates it when I'm constantly shoving flowers up his ass
But yeah, it's definitely flowers where flowers are deserved
I see you giving the thumbs down, Mark
But most definitely flowers where flowers are deserved
And he's done a great job and I'm really excited to see what we do in the future as well
So yeah, that's just my little two cents
You're shoving what up his ass?
No, yeah, definitely got to give Mark his flowers
Let's open up the hood of the car
Let's go a little like inside NFT projects here
So I buy a cool dog
Was that yesterday, two days ago
I think it was on Sunday
Watching some football
I said, fuck it
Let's run up a cool dog real quick
Got to support my boys who let the dogs out
And immediately I get added to a Twitter group
Yeah, there you go
I love that
I get added to a Twitter group with a bunch of dogs
And even when I set up this Twitter space in that Twitter group
People are like, share this, share the space with the tweet
You know, hit the reminder, join, join, join
Mark, you said you kind of took a different approach to Twitter
How are like just leveraging Twitter and Twitter DMs
And rallying the community on Twitter
Where, you know, a lot of this happened on Discord
I'm not in the cool dog's Discord
I probably won't join honestly
I'm more than happy to be a part of the cool dog's Twitter
You know, just because I'm always on Twitter
But how important is Twitter groups, Twitter messaging
All that to just like keeping the community rallied and together
It's honestly what's helped the project and us
Ourself on Twitter and media turning the chin a new leaf
And because we were a 2021 project
So we were heavy Discord project
And to be honest, it is a bit on me
That I was a bit late to really harnessing the Twitter game
Which is probably why I've seemed to have popped out of nowhere
And this is, I'm not going to steal the RR
But this is one of SK's
I can't take all the credit for it
It was a team effort
But SK essentially supported me
And we said, right, we need to create some group chats on Twitter
Because when we were losing half the people
We're not getting half the people
And people are out of the loop on Twitter
When there's Discord announcements and vice versa
So we need to get the dogs on as much media as possible
And also, instead of sharing a Twitter post in Discord
When a new dog joins
We get to post them joining
Encourage them to make a new tweet
It's on the same platform which they've literally just joined on
And also, generally
So you've been added to the fourth group chat
So we've got three completely full group chats
For the 75 dogs who are, to be fair, pretty active
So that's over 200 active dogs all the time
And essentially, we've built that up from pretty much nothing
Back in, I'd say, honestly, October, November time
We had one group chat that we didn't really use and utilise
And I think it's really nice for people to join
Get added to a group, see their tweet being raided
Knowing that that's being raided in groups 3, 2 and 1 also
And in the Discord
And basically, that's some onboarding utility
That we can offer straight away
It's something that the Seals do fantastically
It's something that Play do fantastically
And having that brand and that welcoming and that almost family vibe
That's something that we really wanted to put across
And gives people a really warm feeling when they join the collection
So that was generally the thought process behind it
What do you guys think?
I'm thinking about maybe just adopting a British accent
To just sound smarter
What do you guys think?
Mickey? Let me know in the comments
What do you think guys?
I was trying to persuade you last night
British accents sound a little bit more eloquent
I'm happy to do lessons
I'm sure Mark and SK as well
We're happy to set up a Twitter
It all depends on what kind of accent you're trying to go for
It depends if you're going to go for North, West, South
We've all got different accents up here
But I don't know which one you're feeling the most
I'm feeling Mickey's accent when I'm about to beat somebody up
And then Mark's accent when I'm trying to talk about
Well, we have a ton of utility
And we really believe that this project has a ton of...
I don't know
There's different tones
I don't know
I'm sorry
Mickey, you had your hand up
What did you want to add?
Yeah, I just want to show some love as well
Thanks for coming to the space last night
I hope you enjoyed it
And show some love to the UK homies
SK, my boy there, and Mark as well
I'm a big fan of Mark
Mark's an inspiration to me from
What he's done within the project and where he's come from
You know me call times where I am in my own journey
And it's inspiring to see people like Mark work their way up the ladder
And then turn cool dogs around really
That's what he's done
And I just wanted to touch on
I see someone told me a statistic the other day
That something about
It's either 70% of open sea revenue or open sea interaction comes directly from Twitter
So this whole thing that came into the space about Discord needed and Discord that
I like the approach to people utilizing Twitter group chats
And personally myself, that's how I've built my own community
So I love to see it
And I just wanted to say hats off to the guys
Yeah, I'm with you
Mark, we actually had you on a Twitter space not too long
I want to say maybe a month ago
Brought you back on a lot of momentum
You actually wanted to share maybe some updates
Some breaking news
Some developments
What's going on with cool dogs?
So yeah, because I want to respect Gary and the time
Etcetera as well
So generally we've
I don't know your website guy as well
So we're really working hard on a completely new revamp site
As much as we love the word cool, we love the word good better
Everything and every decision that we've made has been done through a holders voting system
And it can be quite risky
Some may call it a DO
I don't call it that yet
Because we need to settle more infrastructure
But essentially we have taken step-by-step approach to rebranding the dogs, rebranding the projects
Rather than
Air-dropping something new
We want to improve the product that we've got for the people who have bought into the project
Because people have paid good money to join
And so essentially we are going to be
Migrating the contract to a
Upgradable one
Reason being is that
As things go into the future
We want to take back control as a project of
We want to take back control as a project of
Where we're listed, what we do
And it's all going to be run and decided by
Enable by the team
But decided by the community
So we really want to empower that ethos
But if we're going to do that
We need to then offer something new
So we're offering a new name
Which will be good dogs
They'll be offering a new art
So the art will be upgraded into like a shaded look
And also every single dog holder
Through stage one, which will be essentially all the active holders
We'll get to choose one of 10 dog breeds
To then upgrade their dog to
They'll get preview of each
So they can choose exactly what
That will then burn the original cool dog
And then create the good dog, so to speak
We will be doing a brand transition in between
To make sure it's smoothed out, et cetera
Could I say one thing, please, bro
I've got this gem I really want to drop on you
I'm a quite creative sometimes
Just come into my head
You can have this one for free by the
Hashtag for the greater good
Make sure you use that one
SK write it down
Already in the notepad
Already in the notepad mark
No, I love it
And I think that
So essentially after that
We will then turn all the cool dogs
Into a pass
Or a token, let's say
And then we're
We are going to go into a pass
Or a token, let's say
And then we are going to go into
A whitelisting stage with partner
And collaboration projects
I'll say that very loosely
Because some we can call official partners
Others, I want to respect that
They don't want to be called that
Because of their brand inclusivity
So the projects that I can mention
As partners, right?
And then we're going to go into
A whitelisting stage with partner
And collaboration projects
I'll say that very loosely
Because of their brand inclusivity
So the projects that I can mention
As partners right now
As space riders and froggy friends
We've got a lot of others in the pipeline
And I do have quite a
I've managed to get some really good connections
In the space
So I can't officially announce
Too many more now
But there's going to be a lot of big hitters
Who will be either partners
Or collaborators with us
And essentially, as soon as we get
Stage one and stage two
With the good dogs, collection and brand
We go straight into
Staking, renting, doggo coin
Which will be released
And then we have a lot of fun
With breeding mechanics
Into project renting
Yes, correct
Yeah, what do you mean by that?
So let's say
If you want two dogs
You can then combine them
To create a dogs generations
Which will be a subsequent collection
However, if you own one
You can then rent a dog
Off another person in the community
We need to discuss
Whether it will probably be
For either doggo or eath
And then we'll have an internal mechanism
Where the community can basically
Interact with each other
If you have a dog
Which with some traits
That somebody else wants
You can then put the dog up
In the renting pool
They can then rent it off that person
They'll then be a split of the token
And we're going to do a lot of fancy
Development and innovation
With all the tokenomics, et cetera
Another thing
And I'll drop a little bit of alpha
Well, actually, do I say that?
No, I'll say the other thing
So that's one stream
No, you'll say both
We're also going to have breeding
This is a breeding machine
That manages this
And this will come in different parts
These parts will obviously have different perks
And different attributes
So we're not creating a game
But we're gamifying
Like trait manipulation
To basically get people
To create these dog generations
And dog generations will be
A second collection
So let's say
And I prefer to move one step back
Generation one will probably be
Will probably reduce the supply
So the good dog's collection
Will be around 3,333 to 4,000
Depending on how the mint goes
Because I'm very aware in a bear market
And we've got to be very careful
With this
There is a risk involved with this migration
I'm not that oblivious to that
But then we will go across
Three different breeding phases
To get the dog generation's collection
Up to probably about 10,000 to 12,000 units
But there will be ongoing utility
Throughout the whole stream
And the one bit of alpha
I can drop that probably the community doesn't know
Is we are starting to
So that's like our core stream of utility
I call that into project utility
But we are also talking about potential
Brand opportunities
And other external utility options
Which could also yield royalties
Or some sort of revenue streams
Other than the conventional streams as well
Those discussions have started in the last couple of weeks
Yeah, what's the timeline?
Because it seems like there are a couple things
You're not quite sure about
Or seem like there's some more legwork to do
So how far out is all of this?
And as for those who don't know
And there's a medium article out as well
We are basically
We've got a lot of existing infrastructure
We've got poker
We've got a good website
We've got a bones token
Which is Eefless and Gasless
That you can use to enter giveaways
While at the spots
A couple of mini games etc
But we do have a new website
To create revenue
Brand to create
We have to make sure that we can
We've got all the company infrastructure in place
We've got potential partnerships and merges to manage
So there's a lot that goes into just
Migrating the collection
So I would say
We're probably looking at a two to three month time frame
And we're in no rush to get that done
But we're being very transparent
In our Discord with all updates
We're giving updates on financial transparency
Something that I've learnt by working on the plague team
And all this stuff that we really want to
Embody the full spirit of web free
So I'd say two to three months
And we'll be pretty much there
But I don't want to put a set date on it
And I'll be very transparent if anything changes with that
So it sounds like you guys should probably follow Mfair
Should probably follow Cool Dogs
Check out that medium
It sounds like you guys got a lot of homework
You guys got a lot of shit to research up on
Because there's a lot of new developments
A lot of cool stuff coming with Cool Dogs
Or should I say Good Dogs
I pitched last time Good Boys
But you know
It's not like I'm an idea factory
But you know
SK made me think about rebranding to RR
Who knows, maybe I'm going to get a British accent
There are a lot of changes that could be happening in the next couple of months
I think I'm going to mint out something fishy
And then I'm just going to be like Johnny Depp
You know, Johnny Depp like halfway through his career is like I'm European
It's like wait, what? No
No, you're not Johnny Depp
He's like nah, yeah, I got a British accent now
So I might just do that
And I'll have maybe a good dog to go along with it
I got my fishbowl dog, of course, that I bought
And couldn't be more happy to have a leader like Mark
And truly, that's what you want to do
When you're investing in a few projects
It's not what you're investing into
It's who you're investing into
So shout out to Mark
We're going to do this again, man
Hopefully you're a recurring guest every month
You can kind of come on and talk about what's going on
But thanks for explaining why the dogs are let out
Yeah, RR, what's up?
Bro, I just got to give you some flowers
Before we head on over to Gary or someone else
You are a fucking great host, bro
And we need that British accent to come out a lot more
Once it does, I can probably do a little transition
And hit you with the California dude
I mean, I know I switch over from British to American
But sometimes it's just a little bit hard to get it in
So we need to hear that, you know, that British accent, my guy
Let's get it going
My guy sent me
That was...
I've elected not to do the British accent anymore
And just go full calling everyone my guy
Last guy got the COPFP.com for a lot more
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, RR
Make sure to keep the cool dogs for a little bit, man
That's the alpha
All right, we're way over time
And that's just because we're having so much fun
And I also decided to play the song Who Let the Dogs Out
Who Let the Dogs Out for like a minute
So, you know, probably not great time management
But definitely go give these guys a follow
And stay up to date with everything
Thanks again, Mark
Thanks again, RR
Pleasure anytime
Yeah, pleasure, King. Thank you, bro
I just gave someone a new nickname
He's probably like, fuck this guy
Man, okay
We're talking about a project that is going through some changes
Now we're gonna transition to another project
That's coming out with something new here
We got Strangers HQ along with my guy, Ryanis, on the stage
I could say something like, hey, stranger, right?
Something clever like that, right?
Yeah, I think that would fit perfectly
How you doing?
Great, man. Yeah, it's been a minute
I think we ran into each other at NFTNYC
And for those who don't know
This kind of goes back to what I was just saying
It's not about what you're investing into
It's who you're investing into
And Ryan wanted to come out and do this space
And always happy to support
Because this guy has his fingers on a lot of successful things
He is a grinder in this space
And just somebody I've known for a little bit now
And whatever he does is usually pretty successful and cool
So let's talk Strangers HQ, man
Open C Mint, Open C Collab, some big people behind it
Let's get the alpha
Yeah, and we got a couple other people from the team here, too
We have Passion, who's on the Strangers HQ account
Oh my god, what's up?
Do you guys know each other from the Doodles community?
Loosely, yeah, we chatted a couple times offline
I think we've never met up
Yeah, I think I begged him for some whitelist spots
You know, some time ago
And yeah, man, you know, chugging along here
And then we have also Eric Rubins
Who's one of the founders on the project as well
He's listening, I don't know if he requested to come up
Eric's, you know, amazing photographer
Check him out on Instagram
Yeah, huge
So Eric, if you want to request, pop up
But yeah, man, we're excited to talk about Strangers HQ
You can see the PFPs that Passion and I both have on right now
This is, you know, talk about the art real quick
This is the art from the project
Our artist is Nick Kachar
Amazing Hawaii-based artist that has this really cool retro kind of old-school vibe
That I think is really fresh for the PFP space and for NFTs
It's his first venture into NFTs
So just from an art perspective, 6500 pieces in the collection of his art
Which is really unique and we're excited about that
Okay, there we go, we got Eric up here as well
What's up, Eric?
There he is, okay
The man, the myth, the legend
So wait, let me stop you for a second
So we've seen this happen a little bit, correct me if I'm wrong
But I've noticed some projects, you know, most start off with the PFP
But I've seen, you know, like Zeneca and his community, you know
They start off as kind of a membership collective
And then come out with the PFP project after the community's kind of tightened it
Is that kind of what you guys are doing?
You start off with kind of membership past, now you're going PFP?
Yeah, so they're separate
And we don't want to look at it as, you know, first collection, second collection
Because they're definitely really different
But definitely, you know, we built Collective Strangers
Which is a thousand piece membership past photography NFT collection
And we built that, you know, gosh, just about a year ago now
It feels like that community is amazing
And, you know, if you're interested in photography
I think it's really the hub for some of the best photographers in the world
That are into NFTs like Eric and many others
But also just if you're wanting to become a better photographer
Grow your skills and get access to NFT photography drops
That's really what that project's for
And then Strangers HQ completely separate
Focused on travel and experiential
An untapped, I think a couple of untapped industries
That really haven't gotten into Web3 and NFTs yet
But, you know, that's where we're building this project
Focused on is entering those spaces
And being, you know, kind of that trusted resource for a lot of brands
That I think are interested in getting into NFTs
But don't really know how
And I think, you know, we're finding out how that can benefit our community
And the exciting part is, you know, there's a lot of ways we can do that
Yeah, I love experiential NFTs
I mean, you know, going to a Doodle's events
Like the best experience of my life
And kind of experiential events and activations
You guys are looking to engage the community with
So I keep talking about this, thinking of it like a travel itinerary, right
And so for us, you know, we first and foremost are focused on building a community
That is passionate about the same stuff, right
As IRL travel, whether that's local to you, going somewhere else
Or just going to things like festivals, concerts, sporting events
And so we want to build a community that can kind of provide those insights to people
As you're looking to do things
Because one thing we know is if you're going to an event
You're taking a trip, it's always better
If you have that inside knowledge, right
The local kind of tips for what to do
So from a community standpoint, excited about building a group of people
Together that love that
But then from, you know, from a development side of BizDev side
You know, we have a really vast network
You know, Eric is one of the kind of the main photographers
For brands like United Airlines and many, many others
He was just shooting in Deer Valley, a major hotel chain
And, you know, so we're excited to bring them into the mix as well
Because we really feel like we can add value across that itinerary
So everything from airfare to accommodations
To the activities you do when you're there
You know, think of it like out AMEX Platinum, right
Can really impact everything that you do
With the benefits and rewards they offer
In a similar way, but, you know, we're not focused on 10%
You know, off a flight or something
We have some tech we're building out as well
That's going to allow us to, you know, really reward
The most engaged and active people in our community
We're super excited about that as well
And passion can chat on that
Yeah, I mean, I want to give you guys some advice
I think you guys are doing way too much
I think you guys are too ambitious
And I think you guys just need to go back to
We're going to be a big merch brand
Or we're building a metaverse
Like you guys are trying to do too much cool stuff, you know
You're trying to do too much different stuff
No, I'm kidding, though
Yeah, I haven't heard of this type of PF, you know, like a project before
And that's like a really tough sentence to say in this NFT space
But it seems like every time you guys are a part of something
It's very groundbreaking
What's the thing that excites you like the most?
And what is like, give us like an actual like example of an itinerary
Yeah, Eric, maybe I feel like you can jump in on this one
Be a big great kind of add to some of the brain conversations you're having
Obviously short term and there's long term goals
I think in the short term thinking back on some of the more impactful travel I've had in my life
It's often been the times when I've connected with locals
You know, like I went to South Africa and I was able to connect with a couple local photographers
And just single-handedly they were able to shape my itinerary in my trip
And just make it such a more impactful experience that I was able to memorize
Sorry, I was able to experience it kind of like remember forever
And so I think for us really just kind of digging into those experiences
And what kind of I guess ups your level of travel and the experience you're having when you do decide to take that trip
I know a lot of people in this industry are, you know, just really consuming
Kind of just grinding and really focused on the NFT side of things
And might just not have experiences to travel quite as frequently as they'd like to
So if you're only going to take a trip once a year, once every 18 months
You know, you really got to maximize that experience
So I think that's kind of the short-term goal is to really help people connect with others locally
Or just other places around the world long-term
You know, in talking with a lot of the brands I work with like Sony and United one
Both signed for long-term partnerships with
You know, I've really been in their ear about trying to get involved in web 3 for quite some time now
And I'm sure you can envision with some of these larger companies
You know, they're not quite as quick to take a leap into something as you know
A lot of us would like them to, there's probably what, maybe 10 or 15 brands that have really jumped in
I would have thought at this point in time there'd be 50 to 100 brands in this space
So I think in really building a kind of vibrant and passionate travel community
And then going to those brands and showcasing what we have and kind of bringing the opportunities downstream
To the people who have kind of been invested in the vision that we're building from the get-go
That's what excites me the most
Building that community and then kind of trickling down some of those rewards with the technology that we've really been focused on developing
I think passion probably a good time to maybe talk a little bit about kind of that seeking technology that we've been developing
Yeah, sure, happy to jump in
So we're really focused on that loyalty model
Like it's been such a major presence within the travel rewards program
Like within web 2
And we kind of want to, you know, introduce that into web 3
And expand on kind of what's been done with some of the loyalty models we've seen with PFP today
So we're introducing a new soft staking model that we're calling boarding
Essentially what happens is when you board your stranger's HQ PFP
You'll start accruing points on a daily basis
We've added a couple new changes to most non-custodial staking models that are already out there
So the big one is that you will be able to list your token even while it's being staked
The example I always give is, you know, Justin Bieber wants to come along and buy your 8 for 500E
Like that's amazing, that's a lot of changing money and an awesome opportunity
And, you know, a massive win for the community
So we're not going to prevent anything like that from happening
All that happens is once that token actually sells, you'll stop accruing points
The other big change we're making is instead of accruing points directly to the token
You'll accrue points to the wallet
Which allows us to really create a rewards model with the user rather than the token itself
And for us this is big because I know personally I kind of hate when I go into secondary markets
I want to buy into a collection
And there's this weird, like, you know, third trait which is like some form of score attached to it
I want to be able to buy art because I love the art, I love the aesthetics, or, you know, I love the rarity
And our artist has put in like over a year's worth of work on developing this collection
And so we really want to encourage people to buy what they like based on, you know, how it appears
Rather than some loyalty score
And that loyalty score will really just between us and the user as they adopt our model
The third big aspect that we're introducing is probably the most important metric for us that we're looking at
When we're developing a PFP project is actual adoption of the PFP on social platforms, primarily Twitter
And so what we built in is a way for us to check on a daily basis whether or not our holders are actually using their PFP on Twitter
And if they are, they'll get an additional point accrual to that staking model that we built out
And for us this is big because, you know, it allows us to incentivize, you know, our community members to actually be our brand ambassadors, right?
We haven't really seen any projects reward their holders for actually using the PFPs
And so we want to be kind of, you know, the leaders in this pioneer, this model
And we think a ton of other PFP projects will add it as well
Yeah, that's pretty important
We rock these PFPs and projects are like, like I was talking to, you guys know
I know people, you guys on the stage know cozy Wyatt
And we were actually talking today and I was like, you know, why don't you have a doodles PFP anymore?
He's like, why, you know, like if I had, you know, I don't know
It's like, you know, people like that were just kind of told like kick rocks bozo, like who cares, you know
And you lose your core, you know, core community by not acknowledging them, rewarding them
So I think PFPs, there's just tons of free advertisement, like me hosting this space right now
I'm the only doodle in here, doodles like, hey, bro, you know, we're not going to tweet for six months
So, you know, there should be a little bit of a two way street, you know, when it comes to PFP usage and rewarding that
So I think you guys are ahead of the curve
I think that's probably an upcoming meta this year that you guys are ahead of
Before I let you go, I think the I'd be remiss if I don't kind of tap on like who you guys are
Because I had like everyone come out the woodwork being like, do a Twitter space with strangers
Like I had thrown from Doodles Alpha, OG Doodles Alpha guy, thrown him up
He's like, hey, can you do an AMA with strangers?
I was like, holy shit, we got the fucking all stars aligning for this project
So talk a little bit about the team and why everyone's a part of it
And why like everyone that I like is a part of it, I mean
Yeah, sure, happy to give a background about myself
I mean, I will quickly say that if you're if you've been around the Doodles community
We have a ton of the Doodles OG involved on this project
From Throne, Nitti, Varun who helped build Space Doodles, me, Eric, and Ryan all like OG doodle
Wait, I'm sorry, are Nitti and Varun, are they your devs?
They're working on some of the components for us
So, like our generation specifically, and some of that PFPG
Go ahead, sorry
So yeah, that part has been super exciting for us
But me, myself, I have a background in consulting, worked in the Deloitte LA office
Primarily focused on emerging tech and entertainment
So it was a perfect fit to kind of see the rise of NFTs
Got really excited by it, started collecting in mid 2020
Really focused on the curated marketplaces
And was playing around with some of the more popular flow products like NBA Top Shot 2
I launched a curated photography collection with a professional big wave surfer at the time
On Maker's Place was just a fun side project
Wanted to get more involved
Ended up joining Rareable, which was the second largest marketplace at the time
Really focused on operations and grant allocation
I currently run strategy for more of a mainstream NFT studio called Unblocked
Which is really focused on big mainstream applications
Working with billboard music, primary wave ventures, which is Jay-Z's venture arm
As well as like Intel
And really their focus has been on very easily attainable NFTs
So you can imagine going to concerts, getting a QR code
And just getting like a nice digital collectible from that experience
So that's kind of been my NFT journey up to this point
And then obviously launched collective strangers with Eric and Ryan around 10 months ago
And yeah, now really excited by the future of Web3 Travel
Yeah, let's get some facts and figures here real quick
Midday, Mint Price, they have one
And then how do people, can people get on white allow us still or what's going on with that
Yeah, so February 7 is the Mint Day
I'm going to be launching it on OpenSea
So we'll be a featured, 50D featured collection on that day on OpenSea on the front page
You can see us on the drop calendar on OpenSea right now
Mint Price still to be officially confirmed, but it will be under under 0.1
Sixty-five hundred piece collection
So definitely more limited
And a handful of those pieces are being airdropped to our collective strangers pass holders
So that's a little bit of like the alpha on how to ensure you get a stranger
Is pass holders, white camera holders get one airdrop
And gold camera holders get two
So you can still grab those, we're doing the opt-in right now for the airdrop starting today
And it runs through February 4th, so opportunity to do that
And then yeah, definitely the tweet you pinned here, cool times
So we're doing a nomination system for the rest of the spots on the flight list, which is our allow list
And anyone can go to our site right now, they can register, it's super easy
It takes two seconds, and then they can nominate people
And people can nominate them, and that'll give you more entries into the raffle
So absolutely still an opportunity
And then we're going to be given spots away as well in our Discord
So you can come join there and on Twitter
Yeah, there you go
Look at Mickey just working the soundboard here
Yeah, all right, cool
Strangers HQ, go give them a follow on Twitter
Thanks, I got the big three to pull up to the Twitter space
What an honor, thanks guys
Thanks for having us, man, I appreciate it
Of course, okay, cool, yeah, go give those, go give Strangers HQ a follow
Minting soon, I know you guys love upcoming projects
I know you guys like the alpha, wait for it
Before the alpha, so that's that
Yeah, let's move on now, we got my guy Gary from Draft Tower
Gary, what's good?
What's up, my guy?
Yo, I'm impressed by you, bro, I don't really even know, I don't even know you
This is the first time we talked, but I, you know, I tend to look at the NFT Inspect rankings
Just to look at, you know, who's out there, who are the new emerging accounts
And, you know, you scroll on the NFT Inspecting which kind of ranks like, you know, NFT Accounts
And it's like mutinate, mutinate, mutinate, you know, azuki, azuki, bordate, you know, it's all the same thing
And I actually stumbled upon you recently, because I was like, what's the Draft Tower?
And you stuck out like a sore thumb because you're like ranked pretty high
And it's not, you don't have the mutant PFP, you don't have the D-God
You're rapping hard for Draft Tower, man, you're out there grinding
Tell me a little bit about yourself, Gary, you seem like a popular guy
Yeah, it's been fun, I've been grinding on Twitter for about three weeks
Right now I'm number 100 on NFT Inspect
So I've just been grinding and showing up
What is that book like?
I build brands, like, I build businesses and brands for personal development
And in industries like Authors and Podcast Hosts
I've made money out of marketing
So I spent December listening on Twitter
And like just really listening and listening and listening
Listening to spaces, watching what people talked about
And then I started to play at the end of December
And now I spend about three hours a day on Twitter
Every morning I show up at 5 a.m. East Coast time
And I have a small group of token holders inside my Discord server, about 20 of us
And we show up and we grind together for an hour
It's almost like a spin class
So if you've ever been to one of those high-energy spin classes
Where they've got loud music and almost one of those Peloton classes
We're running that, but we're doing Instagram engagement
We do it very methodically
We do analyze NFT Inspect quite a bit
As a group, we will go and we will hit certain collections
We will hit certain people in certain collections
We are heavily using TweetDeck
So the new version of TweetDeck
We're very, very, very much leaning into that
And we have some very magic software
That gamifies engagement on Twitter
We do airdrops of crypto
Based on people who come into spaces
People who comment, like, and retweet tweets
And it all happens automatically and seamlessly
So it's an engaged-to-earn platform that we've built
That's live and running on Twitter
Why not, right?
Twitter is where everything happens
Not really Discord anymore
Not Instagrams, not TikTok, not YouTube
As somebody who is big on YouTube
It's Twitter, this is the epicenter of everything
I love engaged-to-earn, I love rewarding your holders
And I think, you know, leveraging your community
To be your biggest marketers makes the most sense
They know the product more than anyone else
So you're speaking my lingo here, Gary
Let's take a step back
Let's talk Draft Tower
I mean, I'm certainly seeing a lot more of you guys
What's the history of the project?
How did it start? All that
Yeah, so we started August of 2021
We minted our first 100 OGs
I had a social token on Rally.io
It was the Gary coin, and we minted them with Gary coin
They sold for a pretty big amount of money
And we were going to eventually go to Ethereum
We decided to progress that a little bit
This was August 2021
I just minted my mutant, the market was going crazy
We're writing our contracts in September 2021
We scheduled our drop for October of 2021
And when we did that, it was amazing
And the market crashed about a week before we dropped
And all the other projects in October started to postpone
And started to say, we're going to postpone our mint
We're going to wait, we're going to wait
We're going to wait, and I didn't
Because I didn't believe in that
So I just pushed the mint
We opened the mint for about two weeks
In that two-week period of time, we minted about 1,200 to 1,300 NFTs
We closed the mint down and we locked the contract
We incentivized our community to hold their NFTs
And we built a lot of the technology that MFAIR was talking about
So we built a rental pool
We built a derivative offspring engine
We produced 530 offspring
We built staking technology
We launched a utility token on Ethereum
We built naming technology
So we believe in emotional connections to NFTs
So you can name your NFT on the blockchain
So my NFT is no longer called like draft tower number 25
It's actually called Gary on the blockchain
So you can name your NFT
So we built all the technology
We launched all that technology January of 2022
We reopened our mint
And in March, we sold out
So we sold the project out March 13th, 2022
And we've been grinding ever since
I stayed on Clubhouse for a long time
I wrote a business book about Clubhouse
It's published here in the U.S.
You can grab it in Barnes and Noble and stuff like that
And I spent a lot of time there
I had a lot of alliance to the platform
I felt very conflicted in
I have an NFT project and NFT communities on Twitter
But I wrote the book on Clubhouse
And my book's not quite a year old
So I should still be here
So I felt a lot of conflict
That almost like what Mfair was talking about
Where he stayed in Discord a little too long
I stayed on Clubhouse a little too long
And then I started to figure out Twitter
So that's where we're at
So you got a token named after yourself
Yeah, it's listed on CoinMarketCap
We're like in the top 25% of all cryptos in the world
It's called Gary coin
That's what we air drop on Twitter
And it powers 40 other social tokens
Throughout the ecosystem right now
We also wrote the community management
We also wrote the community management software
To tie your Twitter to your Instagram
To your Clubhouse to your Discord
To your email address to your wallet
Cross-chain both Solana and Ethereum altogether
We call it social connector
It's what runs everything that we build
Wow, pretty impressive stuff
It seems like you're building a lot of tech
That a lot of people have talked about
But haven't really realized
And you're hitting the nail on the head
About engaged to earn
And leveraging Twitter
Leveraging your community
I don't think Draft Tower gets talked about enough
You know, there are these certain web 3 bubbles
And it seems like there's like the cool kids table
Where it's like, oh, there's these certain founders
That everyone just loves so much
And we talk about I put Mfair in that crowd
He's at the cool kids table right now
How does Draft Tower go like full mainstream
Where everybody knows about this project
Everyone knows Gary
How do you just push this thing even further?
Just doubling down on Twitter?
Yeah, I mean, that's a great question
You know, we've been doing this for three weeks
And we're moving with energy of about 25 people
And I would venture to say that Giraffe is probably
The most recognizable PFP that exists right now on Twitter
We hear it in every single space there's Giraffe
And we get the reputation of showing up
Wait, what do you mean by that?
You just mean the actual artwork itself?
I'm talking about the energy showing up on every single tweet
There's not a tweet that you see without a giraffe on it
The giraffe are everywhere right now on Twitter
Yeah, that's that I'm gonna be honest with you
I don't know about that, but you guys are definitely showing
I mean the reason I reached out to you about this space
Is because Giraffe certainly came across my radar
And you came across my radar
So you're definitely up there
I mean, you know, I would definitely put you in that mix
Which is super impressive
You said did you say like there's just like a core 25 people?
Yeah, it's 25 people moving this energy
Fuck yeah, I love that
So yeah, how do you let's let's get that up to 100 man
How does that happen?
And that's that's the point that I was you know attempting to make there is
What I anticipate will happen and it's speculation and we're seeing if it proves out is we've got a lot of intrigue right now in the industry
And they're saying like does this tech actually work?
Like nobody's really delivered tech like this that works
Does it actually deliver?
Does it does it work?
Does the token work?
Is it is it actual real?
And as people start to see that we get a couple people that say yes
Like we've had MF versus CDS said like wab owns a giraffe now from sappy seals
And he's bullish on Gary and bullish on giraffe
So we start to get this energy moving a little bit and then it'll take time
But every single giraffe gets all the engaged to earn technology
So for example, if you grab the giraffe social connector would unlock for you
And you could start amplifying your tweets you could start air dropping crypto in your spaces
You could start using all the tech it's fully like up and running
So that's the the concept is
One person buys it they like it they they enjoy it
They they enjoy it. They say hey community go get a free social connector account. I'll start giving you crypto
I'll start air dropping you coins for engaging and it's all gated
So you could gate it based on like you could say I only want to give it to the doodles
And only airdrop doodles like in this space right here. I'm only airdropping the giraffe that are here. No one else gets coin
So it's all set up and configurable like that
So then you start to get the community engaged and then one of the community members says well, that's cool
I want to do that too
Well, they have to go buy a giraffe to do that too
And then before you know it it's not Gary the giraffe in the top 100 on NFT inspect
But we're taking over probably 20 30 spots in the top 100 because the technology only exists when you have a giraffe
So what are the main utilities you could say, you know upon everything else you mentioned is
You know, we've seen so many so many people now are like, you know doing the threads building a brand and web3 branding
And it seems like you guys are actually kind of systematizing that you have your own token gated Twitter list
You know you have you'll give people access to you know
Your your tweet your co-working channel the discord and you'll help build tweet deck dashboard
So if I'm gonna go buy a if I'm somebody in the crowd that wants to buy a draft
I can really amplify and learn more about Twitter and growing by purchasing your NFT. It seems like right?
Yeah, 100% that's my background. You know, I've helped creators make money. So that's I'm very utility driven
So that would be what you would do. You could also buy a draft because you just want one
You could also buy a giraffe because you don't want to learn and you just want to use the tech because you want it to be a little bit easier
Like literally there's a 10-minute video that shows you how to use the tech. It's super simple. You click a couple buttons
So there's a lot of reasons why you may want to you may want to get involved in some of the educational pieces like I have
The New York Times best-selling author to come in and talk about selling stuff. So like sales training is happening in February
So you may want to get involved in some of the education we run it very similar to what a monthly membership would run like in like the professional development of coaching space
But it's tokenized with just owning a giraffe with no extra fees on top
Yeah, guys, it's hard not to be bullish on somebody who has a draft PFP that has their own name Gary on the hat
So, you know definitely definitely don't fade gear. I like earlier before you're like you said Bob owns Gary and you're like
Referring to yourself. You're also referring to your coin. There's a lot of fun stuff
I might just own Gary. I might buy Gary just so I can say I own Gary
Real quick for all the drafts in the crowd
Some pretty cool traits. I mean we got Gino up on the stage here got the kind of the Dalmatian look in cow draft
We got some God red Queen here with the crown
We got Peyton Henderson
Shout-out to you Peyton. I see you followed me appreciate that you got looks like a gold draft
What are some certain utility with traits or what are some of your favorite traits in the collection Gary?
Yeah, that's that's a great question. So we believe in micro communities. So social connector our technology actually bundles people together based on their choice
So when you come into our discord server through all of our segment and marketing we have different what we call towers
We have towers for the crowns the hoodies the headsets the bunny hats the Santa hats the bucket hats the halos the rainbows
The Gary traits so any of the traits that have the Gary coin logos on them the aliens the zombies the cowboy hats the third eyes
Then we have like grills and some fur traits and then we go to gas masks and you know, I
My community is not full of deejans. My community is actually very much full of normies
Like the chief information security officer. The NFL is a token holder
The like we have doctors as token holders. They're very much living and working normal lives. We for most of my community where they're only in FT
So I have a small set. Are you saying web 3m fers aren't normal?
I'm not in my community. They don't have they don't have enough teams. They never
We all live at home. It's fine. Look I've wanted I've I've wanted my community to kind of go explore web 3 for the past like year and a half
And they never did they just stayed at home in our discord and stayed at home in our community
They never really went minted anything or bought anything else
So now you guys are going the opposite there you guys are going full tilt on Twitter
and I even have that's the people right now who are like adding social connector and they're like gifting me Gary because I said
I wanted to own Gary
But like we had to do that because it's where the markets out
But you know that's for me
We we built these little micro communities out so people could connect the gas masks is one that I play in a lot
We do a bunch of DJ and stuff. I'm in a bunch of stuff. I know you had a spool on earlier
I still hold five of those so you know like I'm playing more web 3 DJ and mint stuff
Use your burner wallets all that stuff in a tower with gas masks that
Maintains a very high floor of almost an eath and then we have other collections or like our hoodies are very popular
But the technology runs itself
So when you get a giraffe and if your giraffe has a hoodie you automatically get entered into the hoodie tower
Which is a private channel and discord and a private role and we can do airdrops like for example the other day
Somebody had a halo and they were looking at a giraffe
So I sent all the halos to go and like show off their halo and I airdrop crypto on only the people who had a halo giraffe
So I didn't have to bother the whole community. I could just target a little segment of our community to go be proud of their traits
So you mentioned
Kind of three weeks in on just let's hammer Twitter. I'd say it's been successful
I took notice wanted you guys on my Twitter space
I'm sure you're getting a lot of requests and I think that's very good. Just come on here drop by
I know that these little Twitter spaces we do
I've noticed you on NFT inspect. I was like, wait, he doesn't own a mutant ape and he's in top 100
NFT inspect something's not adding up
Yeah, three weeks in
What I mean when I talked to you a year from now and I say hey man
Wasn't that crazy when we were talking about when I was talking about? Oh, I don't care
You know that stuff back in January 2023
What is January 2024 look like? Like how do you keep this going? Where does this go?
Well, my pin tweets and it's gonna stay there all year is a screenshot from December 31st of last year
And it's a snapshot of where giraffe was and where Gary was at that moment in time
And I know there's a lot of external factors the cost of east and all that stuff
but it's just metrics and I put those screenshots up because
For the past 18 months. I've met with my community and we've talked marketing and business every single morning at 5 a.m
Seven days a week Christmas Thanksgiving. It doesn't matter every day
We're there and we switch that on the 1st of January and now I go and I work on Twitter every morning during that time
And I've been doing that for the last 18 months. So for me, it's I'm just doing something different instead of talking to my community
I'm physically coaching my community and helping them with Twitter and I do it every single morning. So I
Wouldn't imagine I wouldn't be above 50,000. I would imagine I'd be closer to a hundred thousand at the end of the year
I would imagine giraffe is a very established brand in the NFT space
You know, we have the tech that other collections are starting to build it's it's done. It's been done
It's been working for a long time. We have a cross-chain rental pool. We're launching
We have like just so much stuff all of our technology are engaged to earn technology is launching on Instagram in the next couple weeks
So everything's there
It's just a matter of us spending the time and and putting in the reps here on Twitter to build a relationship
So we don't have yet. So we have to be patient we have to take our time
We have to put it into work
We have to go through the rounds of hype and FUD and then eventually we'll get enough collectors that believe in us
Just like we do and I think it'll take off. So this time next year
I think that giraffe will be one of the collections that everyone talks about I would imagine giraffe will be the collection that most of the
Space is hosting wearing as well
Are you connecting with other founders to are you?
The only thing I worry about what you're saying is it seems like you're very much cultivating a cult which is cool
But like are you are you reaching out to other founders and stuff? Are you like can I see Gary on like a Twitter space with like?
Wob from sappy seals soon. Are you oh, I was there yesterday. Oh, okay. Great. I missed. Yeah, I was with wob yesterday
I was with doing everything. Yeah, I was with the the plague. I did their community space. I did totally space
I just did the espresso shot this afternoon. I've been in sappy mornings multiple days
I'll go I'm worried about you, but I'll see you 5 a.m. You're waking up. Is your health? Okay
Look kids haven't left yet or I
Wrote the book on clubhouse. I I spent like social audio that stuff. I grew 90,000 followers on that app very quickly
It's it's not as hard as what it looks
It's very strategic and I have a team of 17 people to work for talk full-time for me
The development all the stuff that most founders do they get paid in Gary
They get paid in crypto. We've paid in Gary before we don't deflate the token now
So we use we have a quite sizable grant from a company. So we use that to pay the salaries of the team
but you know, I
My job as the founder is exactly what I'm doing here. This is work for me
So when I'm done here, all I have to do is go and engage on Twitter
I don't have any other work to do. I don't have to go and like code the stuff
I don't have to go and mod the discord. I don't have to go and build the website
I don't have to go do anything. My job is to grow the brand and lead the vision
We have a full team in place that's been operating or running for the the full time
You know you say cult you say that you know, and I you know, I'm really I struggle and I'll share with you
I've bought a lot of projects. I minted my mutant just so, you know, I just sold it in 19.5
So a couple of days ago if you would have looked at the token holders of mutants that were not wearing the PFP
I was number seven out of all the mutants on NFT inspect
but I minted that and I held it I sold it but
most projects that I've owned
amazing founders
amazing people and it just eventually just stops and
Projects that I've liked and I've been bullish on and I've been excited to be holders in and they just stop
And what I found with our community is whenever I'm close to someone else
Our community just goes and buys it and they just buy it quickly and they buy it easily because they're like Gary's creating
So I've been very careful at who I associate with because our community being new to the blockchain
They're very gullible and they'll go by very quickly and they don't know that
Web 3 a lot of it is by today
But you need to sell next week or you're gonna go to zero and they don't know that cycle and they're not looking for that
They're they're thinking they're buying another giraffe that they can buy and they know if they go away for a month
We're still here and we're not going to zero and we're still building. That's what they're looking for and unfortunately
I mean, there's a few but there's not a lot of those projects out there that exists in the world
And when you find them usually the floor price is a lot higher and it's it's a bigger investment
It's a bigger commitment
So I'm very careful and who I associate with when it comes to other founders with that said our tech is used right now
In 40 other communities in addition towers
Impressive stuff. Yeah, I think
They're stride, you know one year in instead of one day and it's you know
Speaks a lot about longevity in this space and I think you know draft tower
kind of three weeks into this full-blown Twitter amplification and
certainly got my attention and
Sounds like a lot of other people's attentions, too
So it could be it could be the project of 2023 to watch out for we got you know
A hundred people in here right now. So if you don't know about draft tower
You know go go follow Gary and you can definitely admire his output follow draft tower
And I don't know it looks like some people might have just gifted me Gary
So I think I actually own you now, bro. So pretty bullish
Let's go. Look, it's just go like it's it's fun to do this. It's fun to have fun with people
You know, I know I have challenges coming into Twitter
I like I came up on clubhouse with Faroq like Faroq was raising his hand to get on my stages
But I don't have those relationships anymore
So, you know now for me
I'm very very grateful that you invited me onto your stage today very grateful that you gave me an opportunity to share
That's all I want to do is put in the reps and put in the work to let NFT Twitter know that you know
We're here. We've been building for a long time. We've done like three hundred and thirty. I know that's not a thousand or two thousand
But we've been here and we've been consistent and we built the tech that we promised the entire time our token holders that minted originally
They're still here with us. So they rode the entire time with us because they're not just looking for a quick flip
They're here to build their communities. They're here to build their audience. So I know we're different
But I really really appreciate you letting us come and share
Of course my pleasure, I mean if you guys don't think being loud and being on Twitter
Doesn't work. It certainly got my attention
Yeah, alright cool, we'll wrap it up there. Thanks again to my guy Gary for coming on here
I I I actually ordered a quesadilla that just showed up. So I'm gonna go you to quesadilla
I hope everyone else is eating enough drinking enough water and all that stuff
Sometimes we get very wrapped up and you know going from this trade that trade or this space to that Twitter space
So stay hydrated guys eat some food eat some good food, you know have some greens
Maybe even smoke some green. I don't know whatever
Thanks again to Gary
We got mfair up here Mickey show-and-love fangang here as well
Thanks to everybody. This is a pretty good Twitter space, you know, we had a lot of people in here. Yeah fangang. What's up?
Sorry, that was accidental, but I might as well say hello because I had said hello before and I come complete with a British accent
Let's go, but yeah, you sound let's go
Brilliant. I'm after the community get community manager for fangang. I you haven't said anything this whole time
But I might as well say goodbye now. Love you all. Goodbye, but hello tapping brother. Let's connect
Yeah, man
Yeah, it's not a way goodbye. It sounds like you're sending me off to war. Goodbye
Farewell, I gotta that's you know what? I'm gonna stop riffing on the British accent
It's just every every accent sounds completely normal to me except the British accent. I'm just like I am watching
And Guy Ritchie movie right now
I'm surprised by that because I think that when I'm listening to a space is I think the British accent sounds so dull
I think the whole time like God, I wish I was like has an American accent. It could let be really high people
But just like every time I hear a British person speaking like oh my god, is that why I sound that's actually a good point
Yeah, British people don't get hype you guys are just that's it
I know and just like and this space is built on hype. That's the things all the British people turn up
Man all right, I'm pumped up. I'm ready to run through a brick wall. Thanks to everyone Mickey plug something right now
What do you got you got a Twitter space later plugs space every Monday real ones only you can check my pin sweet for yesterday
Show cool times was in there Morgan stones is in there. We're moving up in the world. We've got a great community
Thank you for the platform, brother. I love you, man
Yeah, you had a banger there yesterday, I think you know, I think yeah like 80 90 people in there that was that was pretty good
Just giving a spotlight
Giving a little shine to some creators and I'm selfishly learning from them as well. So it's appreciate it man. Appreciate the space
Yeah, no, thank you for coming on
I'm gonna end this space like I end all my spaces. Yo, it's cool times gang gang to my cats
It's up to my ducks and your boy the american sniper aka the bradley cooper of nft's
Gonna do another one of this soon. Uh, I actually am doing my project something's fishy doing a llama verse ama tomorrow
At this time tomorrow, so definitely check into that until then remember to say get get
