of Web3, right? Airdrop has been one of the most, one of the hardest thing that people are talking
about recently, and it's kind of saturated at the moment. So how do we create effective Airdrop
campaigns? That's what I want to know for today, guys. So let's dive right in.
Yes, sir. Yes, sir. It's definitely a hot topic and not always for good reasons. There's definitely
been a lot of ill feelings on the timeline as well when it comes to Airdrops. And I know that
most projects are trying to do their best to avoid these kinds of situations, but we're all still so
new in this space and we're all learning from each other's successes. We're learning from each
other's mistakes and we're learning how to better navigate and give the community and the users
more of what they feel is fair, more of what they're excited about. And it's not always the easiest
thing in the world to do, but I do love that we're here talking about it, discussing how can we make
it better and just trying to improve this space overall. All right. So let's go ahead and jump
into some intros. Starting over to my right, at least on my screen here, we have Agenso Meta joining
us. Who do we have joining us today? I'm going to act really shocked and surprised.
I love that you keep asking as if I would ever let anyone take my space on spaces. It's just not
going to happen. Hi, guys. For anyone who hasn't heard of me on the Asian Aid spaces until now,
my name is Nobara and I look after the global communications over at Gensokishi.
I really enjoy joining this panel. It's such a good topic today. And actually, you know what,
today I'm literally joining because we recently rolled out like a leaderboard feature in Gensok
where people who have been really, really active and kind of contributing to the ecosystem could
be getting exclusive airdrops. Sorry, guys, if you can hear my cat meowing. He's hungry. I'm so sorry
about this. So, yeah, so we're trying to implement this in our game because we're seeing that it's so
trendy. But also, I've seen so many bad advocates of this and I've heard a lot of complaints that,
you know, when you're doing airdrops, you're not necessarily retaining real gamers, real users. So
I'm actually quite interested to hear your opinions, what you guys think, because I know that you're so
active in the space. So this is going to be actually really, really useful for me to then implement
in our leaderboard system as well. So really excited to kick it off.
Always awesome to have you here, Nabarra, and really exciting to hear that you guys have kicked
off the leaderboard on your side. And I actually love that you touched on leaderboard because
airdrop doesn't always necessarily mean token launch, right? There's other ways that games now
are implementing the meta of airdrop. And a lot of that can also just be with points that reward
users in other ways and drops of other things. So something really interesting for us to touch more
on, how can we make airdrop something that is consistently available and a tactic that we can
use to build community to, you know, to use as a marketing ploy as we, you know, build out our
ecosystems. Because a lot of us are, you know, trying to think past the actual token drop if that
is what our airdrop campaign is about and try to think into how do we make this something
sustainably exciting, you know, for, for users. So excited to talk more about that. Let's swing
it over to Space3, who do we have joining us from the Space3 squad today?
Hey, man, you're talking like you've never heard my voice, eh?
Sir, I've never heard this voice before. This is a brand new one.
Oh, is it? Yeah, man, thanks for having me. I've been away for a couple of weeks. I missed
the space. I really missed our spaces.
That's why we don't recognize you anymore, bro. You've been gone too long. We forgot what
you sound like.
Oh, come on. Yeah, it's like, it's because I myself was in several other spaces. I have
been like, I mean, I had like two spaces at least every day. And I'm like, I'm done with
spaces for at least one more week. But I'm attending my cousin's wedding next week. So
I'm like, no, no more spaces for a week at least. And then of course, the week after we've
got GM Vietnam, which is like the biggest blockchain week in Vietnam. So I'll be like having a sigh
of relief for the next two weeks with no spaces. I'm very happy about that. Yeah. So for those
of you who do not know me, my name is Ronald. I'm the BD lead at Ancient Egg. And I'm representing
Space 3 as always in our spaces. So Space 3 is like a game publishing platform. I call it a game
publishing platform because that's what we are. And that's how we separate from other platforms
because we don't just do UA campaigns, but we also do in-game quests where we have players coming in
and playing the game and spending some time in game. So that kind of like separates the farmers
from the players, which we're going to talk about later on in this space because we all know for
airdrops that are like 80% of them are farmers. And then, yeah, on Space 3, we currently have
some ongoing campaigns. We're working with Mixmob. We've got Carryverse. That's a really nice game.
You should check it out. We also have our main net mastery campaign ongoing. We onboarded Nakame,
which is like a social fire platform. Yeah, everything is going pretty well. And let's move on to the next
intro. I don't want to take all the time from us.
Appreciate you, Ron. Thank you as always for joining here, man. And we're excited to have you over here
for GM Vietnam and excited to touch a little bit more on how Space 3 is doing kind of a continuous
play to airdrop, if you will. And, you know, how the mechanisms on Space 3 are meant to kind of
filter out some of the bots or the users that might not actually be from the gaming demographic,
which we're always consistently trying to find cool ways to filter through. All right, next up,
we have Beast League. Who do we have joining us from the Beast League today?
What up? What up? It's your boy, Marcello, head of community here at Beast League. Super happy
to be here, guys. I'll keep the intro short. Beast League, we're a mobile sports universe on
mobile and iOS and sorry, mobile and I'm still waking up mobile and Android Play Store and select
regions. We will be available globally very soon. Very excited about that piece. But basically,
you know, I did say mobile sports universe. We're mainly focused on basketball. Think of
basketball, but with a twist, you're our little animal characters. These cool little guys, kind of
like my PFP, get these special abilities on the court and you get to do a lot of cool stuff. So
I'm going to have to challenge Justin very soon. I know he's a big he's a big baller. So we're going
to have to bring you on the court very soon on a live stream. I got something cooking for that.
We got some stuff coming out very soon. I'm really excited to announce it later this week as we got
some more stuff coming. And that's all I can say for now. But super happy to be here. Excited to be
here amongst some legends and some friends up on the stage. So thanks for having us. And I'm excited
for today's topic. Always a pleasure to have the legendary Marcello in the building. And yes,
I need to get in there and try out beast league. I've been seeing clips come across the timeline and
the FOMO is real because I love basketball. And there's no better time to be playing basketball
games than when the NBA playoffs is live and going on because I'm watching the games every morning to
get my day started while I get the work started. So definitely in the basketball mood. So let's make
that happen soon. Marcello looking forward to it. In the meantime, let's swing things over to earth
from another sun who is joining us today from the earth from another sun team.
Hello, guys. How's it going? My name is Shiv Singh Janeja and I'm the head of business development at
EFAS. And for those of you that do not know, earth from another sun is an open galaxy MMORPG
shooter game. And we are backed by Solana Ventures and Lightspeed.
Awesome. Yeah. For those of you guys who have not checked out earth from another sun,
it is a game not to miss. We've actually had campaigns collaboratively together on space3.gg and
it's a game that our community is always really pumped about. So definitely go check out earth
from another sun and a pleasure to have you guys joining us today. Can't wait to hear your thoughts
on this topic. Let's go ahead and swing things over to Devamon. Who do we have joining us?
Hello, hello, hello. It's Miz, one of the co-founders and managing partner at Devamon.
Thank you for having us on. And always a decent familiar faces. Always a pleasure to be here.
So for those of you that don't know about Devamon, it's just, it's an anime brand, ultimately.
You know, it's a brand that fits into anime, entertainment, web-free and gaming. The very
first thing that we've got out for everyone to try out is our game Kaliso. It's a mobile
game built on Unreal Engine 5. Available on App Store and Play Store. Really, really cool,
really colorful, really vibrant. Lots of players playing it, enjoying it. So those of you who
enjoy gaming, enjoy anime, or want to check out something cool in Web3, come check us out.
Super, super exciting to hear. I love anime. I love gaming. So you're talking my language
1000%. I definitely got to get my eyes over on what's going on in Devamon. But thank you so much
for joining us. Can't wait to hear a little bit more about what's cooking on your guy's
side. Just a quick hello before we get over to our next guest. I just want to do some quick
shout outs to some faces I see down in the crowd. I see we got Nyan heroes in the building.
What's going on, Nyan? I see our creator, exclusive creator, Zyric down there as well joining us.
I also see my man, the Kunta MC. He is an absolute legend in this space. So we got some familiar
faces here. Thank you to all you guys who came to join us for today's chat. And yeah,
just wanted to say some quick hellos. All right. So let's go ahead and swing it over to our next
guest joining us from Coin Games. Who do we have joining us today?
Hi, Justin. I'm Michele from Coin Games. I'm the product marketing director and founder.
So like Coin Games is the first decentralized casino and sports book. So we are live from a couple of
months and we have more than 30,000 users on our platform. So we are going to launch our NFT
collection on MagicKid on the 5th of June. And there will be like a dedicated airdrop for the
holders. So I'm excited to give you much more details later.
Absolutely. Looking forward to it. Always good to have teams that are in the airdrop phase
in this conversation as we very much are over at Ancient8 as well. So it will be great to hear
some insights from you. Michaela, thank you so much for joining. Who do we have joining us today
from the OBS team, OBS World? GM, GM, Justin. Super happy to be on today's space. Definitely
seeing some familiar faces here. And for those who do not know my voice or can recognize it,
my name is Jonathan. I'm head of community over here at OBS World. And we are the ecosystem for
petrolheads, for car enthusiasts, connecting them worldwide. We have already quite some events that
we've been hosting in the past, both online and real world. And speaking about airdrops, we will be
doing airdrops throughout the summer. Similarly, if you want to have a track experience, possibly you
might want to tune in. But I'm super excited to speak on today's topic and also just kind of
learn a bit more. So let's get into it.
Always a pleasure to have you, Jonathan, joining us from OBS World. Man, you're always cooking.
I can't wait to hear a little bit more about the plans for the airdrop. Real life experiences
and airdrops together. Throw in some fast cars. You got my interest for sure. So looking forward to
hearing more about that. Last but not least, who do we have joining us? Lord Wadsworth.
GMGM, pleasure to be here. I'm Levi. I'm the BD lead for Curvance. Curvance is a DeFi protocol,
building on top of your other favorite DeFi protocols like GMX, Curve, Convex, Balancer,
et cetera. Backed by Wormhole Foundation, Offchain Labs, and many more. Pleasure to be here and excited
to talk with you guys. Pleasure to have you joining us today, Levi, for the first time.
Always great to have some new faces. So yeah, thank you so much for the brief intro there for
Curvance. All right, guys, before we kick things off with our first question, if we can just go ahead
and massage the algorithm a little bit by throwing up some hearts. Just click on that emoji button,
throw up a heart, throw up a thumbs up, throw up some claps, some waves, any emojis that you guys want
to throw out there. Let's warm up the algorithm. Let the Twitter gods know that we want more people
to come in here and listen to today's topic. And if you can, it would always be great if you guys can
share the space out onto the timeline and drop a comment down in the comment box. Give us a GM.
Feel free to pin something down there, whatever you guys have cooking up in your ecosystems that we
should be on the lookout for. Go ahead and pin those things down in the comment box as well.
And that'll be a great place for people to scroll through as we have this conversation
and just see what you guys got cooking over there. All right. So we're going to go ahead and just kind
of kick things off right on fire here. And usually the way that I like to do our spaces is just throw
a question out there. And if nobody has the hand up and nobody has jumped in, feel free to just go ahead
and jump straight in there. Also, if somebody is chatting, feel free to just throw a hand up and
we'll try to go in as much of a chronological order as we can. All right. So first question is,
which airdrop tokens has or have been on your watch recently and why? And I implore you guys as well to
throw your own token airdrop out there. I'm not going to be one of those co-hosts that tells you
you're not allowed to talk about your own thing. No, tell us about your thing as well,
because we want to hear what's going on in the space. We want to know what we should be on the
lookout for. And we don't know what everybody's cooking up here. So share your own thing, share
other things you're seeing in the space and let us know why we should be paying attention. Let's
start there. I'll throw it over first to Earth from Another Sun and then we'll go over to Space 3.
Definitely. Thank you. So I will start with what you said later. For us over at Earth from
Another Sun, we currently have a gamified format going on called the Kepler Citizenship Program.
So 13 days ago, we had our eFast Passport NFT Mint that sold out in under one minute during its FCFS
phase. And the season two of our Kepler Citizenship Program is currently live. And that does bring
eligibility for future airdrops for tokens and whitelists for NFTs. And I think it's a good
indicator because our Passport NFT has been doing super well. So for anyone listening in here today,
you guys can check out my comment that I've dropped below. And you guys have a code with which you can
start earning points. You can get on our leaderboard and super bullish there. So that is a lucky surprise.
Now to get to other airdrops that I've personally been looking at, just a few market insights.
I think one of the best airdrops that happened recently was definitely denser. I'm sure everyone
building on Solana is, of course, aware. I think overall, what we've been noticing is, of course,
airdrops reaching a saturation point. I think all of us miss when it was 2021, 2022, where you could
just go on Aptos' website, spend 10 minutes and get $1,000. But today we are in a point where we have
millions of people participating in airdrops. And the biggest name probably out there on Galaxy is
Berochain right now. And they have over, I think, five or eight million people who participated.
So I just think while Berochain, Tyco, MindNetwork, a lot of these have been big names,
to really find the right airdrop, you need to see where you can actually add the most value onto their
testnet and participate the best. But the ones which I think have been doing the best in terms of the
best, I'd say denser and maybe data ownership protocol are my top two.
Nice bit of alpha right there. For those who didn't catch it, definitely be on the lookout for
what Earth from Another Sun is cooking up, but couldn't agree more. Definitely miss some of the
old days where you just had to go on, click a couple buttons just to participate. And then a few weeks
later, something would just get dropped in your wallet. I don't know if we can even really call them
airdrops anymore. Because these days, you got to go through so many claims to actually get your
airdrop. You really got to work for it. The days of it just dropping in your wallet are far, far
behind us. You got to work for these drops now. It does force the user to be, I would say, much more
of an active participant. So I understand why the evolution is happening this way. And I don't
necessarily think that it's the wrong direction. But for us lazy people, it would be nice to kind
of go back and not have to claim all of these things. Because it can be hard to remember what
you've even clicked around on and what you should even be on the lookout for. But yeah,
tensor is a big one, big time. Solana, probably going to be the biggest drop that we see on Solana
for this year, unless something comes in and dethrones it. But I'm not sure we'll see that
in this year. But yeah, really interesting. I'd love to swing it over to Ron now. Ron,
what do you got for us? And then we'll swing it over to Coin Games.
Hey, man. Yeah, I'm not sure just yet if I'm supposed to drop some big alphas. But I guess
I'm going to do that. So for those of you who don't know, we just recently minted our like,
we had our first Genesis NFT collection of Harry the Bennett. And we just we even minted out like
the FCFS in less than five minutes. And we also had like, I think, 3000 guaranteed spots or something,
if I remember correctly. And then of course, coming back to the utility, we are looking at
like, it is acting, it's going to act as the PFP or a passport of ancient age citizenship to unlock,
you know, exclusive benefits within our ecosystem. Let's say token airdrops or like NFTs,
whitelist spots and early access privileges. So yeah, this is going to be huge for those of who
are holding the NFT. And of course, coming back to space three, we've had the main net mastery campaign,
we've had the onchain gacha campaign. And for those of you who actively took part in those and who have
been early contributors to space three, there's something tasty waiting for you guys. I can't just
give all the details yet. But but yeah, you have you have something waiting for you very, very soon.
And so yeah, about like going back to the airdrops that I'm looking forward to. And of course, that has been,
you know, talking points for the past couple of months, one of them is blast. I think all of us know about that.
And this is something I personally feel like, you know, what separates them from the other airdrops is like the
business model, which is like the native yield for ETH and stable coins. And of course, they have the
gamified airdrops, which I'm certainly, I'm definitely bullish on. They have this layered staking system.
Also, speaking of gamified, you know, airdrops, I also want to introduce another one that I'm really
bullish on, which is called Lingo. It's like a gamified powered rewards ecosystem. And it's something
like if you're, if you're a travel enthusiast, you should check it out as well. They have like a
very different model, where you have where you unlock a boarding pass, and then you go to the
islands. And the islands like, well, after you complete those quests, you upgrade to the other
island, like to the the island for the next year. And then it's like the names are also pretty funny.
They've got a prog, hodl haven, and degen island. It's called I think diamond, I think the
last one is called whale island. So yeah, it's something very interesting. I'm currently checking
that out. Like, it was, it's been like, three days since I started farming there. So yeah,
you shouldn't you guys should also check it out. So these are the ones and I definitely feel like
gamified experience is really crucial to a successful airdrop campaign.
Yeah, absolutely. And there's not too many doing it as good as blast is I would I would have to give
them props on their way of just grabbing the attention and really, you know, creating a platform
where there is so much to engage with that is somehow tied back to the airdrop of blast and
through farming gold. And they have really built out a really fascinating ecosystem. And I just love
the way that they've tapped into the social fire aspects and just combine these two huge narratives of
both airdrop and social fi to just create this, you know, this attention wheel that just continues to
spin and really has just been dominating the space for for weeks and months at a time. And in terms of
like some of the most fascinating airdrops I've seen, I think Pac Moon would definitely have to be one
of those. Just the way that they've been able to gamify, you know, content creation from both their
community of holders and also people that have never even engaged with their ecosystem,
I think has been a fascinating thing to watch in terms of like marketing schemes that we've seen
around airdrops in this year. So definitely something that I would say, you know, something that makes
spotting a worthy airdrop, something that can really, you know, target the attention the way that
they have is definitely one of those green flags in my book. I'll swing it over to Coin Games.
Yeah, so before I mention like a airdrop, I would like to share with you what I'm monitoring at the
moment. So I'm really looking forward to see the Ethermail airdrop. Ethermail is like an email
services where they introduce like the possibility to return. So when you want to receive some ads, or if you
want to receive some important email or communication, you can earn from doing this action, or you can
send payment through the email. I think that is like an amazing project. I don't have any business
related to them. But I'm really bullish on that on this project is really interesting. Then on Coin Games, we are
going to have our airdrop at the end of June. And there will be dedicated 11% to our total supply. Of this 11%, the 8%, so like the 70% of the airdrop will be dedicated to our user.
So our idea is that we need to rewards all our community that support us in like in these strategic months.
And then of course, it's connected with the NFT launch as well that will happen on the 5th of June. So there is like an amount dedicated to them.
And as something new for us, we are working really well with CD quest. So we are dedicated to, we are dedicated to, on the quest like percentage of it, just because it's like, it's really good to attract new users as well with this kind of marketing mechanics. So I think that every one of us is like agree that the
The airdrop is like a full marketing acquisition channel. So we are really excited about like, we have a really intense roadmap for the next two months. So if someone wants, of course, much more info, we can provide like into the details.
Love that. I'd love to kick a question back over your way, like when it came to planning out your airdrop for Coin Games.
What did you guys feel like in terms of a list of, you know, actionables of what makes a airdrop the most worthy of the community paying attention to? Like, what were you guys feeling was the top priority on that list? Was it the total overall allocation? Was that like the key metric that you guys wanted to focus on? Was it the mechanics of how the airdrop was going to be earned? Could you give us any insights into your thought process there?
Yeah, sure. So like, we are not doing like the airdrop as a start of the project. So as was mentioned, we are live from a couple of months. So we have more than 30,000 users that are playing on our casino. So we know exactly like, for example, how much they spend on average. So we did some calculation in terms of like, the
ratio between the best amount that, for example, they are doing on our casino and the points that they are going to earn to like to rank the leaderboard. So we create a leaderboard for all our users. They would, they are compete to each other.
And of course, it's like based on the position. They are going to receive the part of the allocation.
Of course, they can participate in the quest as well. So all our users on a daily basis, stay on Zilli. We are on Zilli on quest 10 on task on on Galzzi. Of course, just an insight on our side that Zilli is working way better than on the other one.
And it's much easier to do collabs with other community. For example, if I can mention like our case was really easy to do partnership with community about sport, for example, I'm a huge NBA fan.
So I'm following NBA, all my free time. Don't tell like, so my wife is hating me for this. But by the way, we were in touch with a lot of sports fan or collectible as well to do partnership because it's like we have on our sports book, we have all the NBA match where you can bet on it.
So it was like easier for us to do this kind of mechanics on Zilli rather than on the other channel.
And then for the NFT as well. So we are going to launch our NFT on the 5th of June.
And one of the biggest utilities that you are going to receive some, not only the airdrop, but you are going to receive the cash back when you are playing on the casino.
So everything is like really well connected. So we we did like all the possible to create a system that works each other.
Love that. And I have the same problem that you have, which is not being able to stop watching the NBA, especially during the playoffs.
But I appreciate those insights there. I also appreciate those those insights in terms of what questing platforms you guys feel are working best for you for this type of campaign.
So that's really interesting info there for for those who might be still considering what quest platforms to take a look at.
And I agree. Zilli is definitely a great platform, especially for doing things collaboratively across other communities.
So some additional alpha there. I'd love to kick it over to Nobara Genzo and hear a little bit more about your guys leaderboard mechanics.
How are you guys utilizing leaderboard to tie into to tie into airdrops, if you will, if there are any airdrops tied to that or or tell us a little bit more just about the leaderboard in general?
What is how are you guys using this to really, you know, pull players activity in?
Thank you. Well, you know, I think it's we have the leaderboards in place as of last week.
And I think the idea behind it was we have so many good partners and everyone is doing something.
Everyone is up to something. So what is the best way that we can support our partners and also provide some kind of benefit to the people in our community and make sure that, you know,
they're feeling seen and rewarded for participating in the ecosystem, for playing the game or for the very specific activity that they're performing in the game.
Because, you know, you might just be a passive player that just logs on for a few minutes each day and you're not really contributing to the system.
So what we're doing with the leaderboard is we're looking at multiple actions on the blockchain that our players and users have performed.
And that means whether it's NFT creation, NFT trading, imports, exports, playing time, how many wins they've had, maybe in a tournament, maybe when they've done Dragon Towers, online time spent.
And so we're just taking all kinds of different KPIs into consideration to have these leaderboards in place and kind of really recognize the people that spend the most time, assets and kind of attention on the game.
Because these people end up being kind of the leaders of the community and the people that inspire others to join.
So I feel like the way we've started it off now, because the feature has been live since the 17th, so it's very much still experimental and we're still doing it manually.
So at the moment, it only lives as a spreadsheet just because we want to perfect the mechanism and then have it automated, you know, down the line, maybe in the next couple of weeks.
So what we're doing is essentially we're just staying in touch with our partners, asking them, you know, have you got anything coming up?
Can we do anything to support? Because we've got this feature now where we can actually feature you and that is beneficial for both the partner, our community and our team as well.
So I'm very much kind of open to feedback and seeing how this plays out, you know, if those rewards seem, you know, appealing to the players, if they're finding it fair, if it seems like a good idea.
So it's even though it's very much it's still in the in the experimental stage, I feel like it's a really interesting way to see if that's going to change the engagement in any way, because you guys know that I'm kind of looking after the majority of stuff over again.
So I've got my eyes on the social channels. I've got my eyes on the community. I'm seeing online engagement across our SNS channel.
So I'm going to spend the next few weeks kind of closely monitoring this and making small tweaks on the go.
Just see if that's a feasible system, essentially, because so many games did it and for for months on end, I felt like we're really missing out and we're kind of missing out on the hype.
And you should always try to join the narrative or at least kind of be able to demonstrate that you're you're catching up with the current agenda, the current narratives.
So it was important for me that we've rolled this out, even though it might be a little bit experimental, but just show to the community that a we're paying attention to, you know, what the guys are doing, how they're getting on in the game and how active and how much they're contributing.
But also to see that, you know, we're trying to stay in line with the current narratives and provide as much benefit to everyone who's participating at the moment.
Love that. Thank you so much for sharing more insights there, Nobara.
And I personally, as both a community member and a builder, I really appreciate teams that are experimental in this way and aren't willing to just miss out on the narrative completely.
They are willing to try things out, even if those things aren't, you know, aren't going to stick around if the community doesn't feel that it's, you know, that it's working in a way or you guys just based on the data can see that it's not working in a way that's progressive for the game and for the community.
But you give it a shot, you give it a go and you try to find, you know, what kind of mechanisms really get people engaged.
And we very much have been doing a lot of that type of experiments in the H&A community as well.
Before the days of these kind of play to airdrops, you know, we really tried to find ways to gamify our discord and even create almost a weekly airdrop, if you will, based on, you know, a lot of different mechanisms of engagements.
And yeah, I feel like a lot of teams have been doing these kind of things and experimenting with these kind of things.
But of course, it does change a lot once you're, you know, talking about, you know, an official token and an on-chain asset that the community is going to participate in.
It definitely changes the sentiment and how you have to approach it.
But I love that teams are still finding ways to experiment with this in a lot of different ways.
Would like to hear from anybody else that's got airdrops going on within their community.
I almost feel like we need to change the title of this chat to how to create worthy airdrops, because that's what I think a lot of us up on this panel are trying to do and trying to find clever ways to do.
And hearing from each and every one of you guys is giving me some great ideas here.
So, yeah, maybe we can pass it over to Jonathan, OBS World.
And then we'll pass it over.
Or we can start with Devmon and then pass it over to Jonathan right after.
If that's all right, please.
Thank you, Jonathan.
So I think, you know, the whole point of airdrops are that they're effectively an onboarding tool.
That's fundamentally what they are for us, you know, for us as projects and, you know, as businesses.
So it's and when you onboard, you want people to be to be engaged and to be retained.
Ultimately, that's, you know, the kind of what we're trying to achieve when you when you're asked, what are you trying to achieve with an airdrop?
That's typically what we're trying to do.
So, you know, you've got to make your airdrop in your design in such a way that it's engaging.
And, you know, if you can get people to take part in your game, you know, Devmon, we have a couple of airdrops going on right now for our Evo token.
We're going to ramp them up and kind of do a variety, you know, whether that's leaderboard associated with a telegram game where you complete certain tasks, have a bit of fun, see what the game's around.
But that's, you know, if you can, as a business, if you're doing it, doing these airdrops and running them, it's really down to finding a way that's, you know, what you're trying to bring them to allows them to see what you're showcasing.
So, you know, take part, participate, and ultimately be retained.
And that, for me, is what I'll take on it.
And, you know, how we're doing it, you know, at Devmon, we're doing it in a variety of ways.
And, you know, you know how it is with marketing.
You know, you see which way works the best for your community and for your crowd.
So, yeah, I just want to keep talking, but hopefully you've kind of followed my point.
Absolutely, absolutely do, and couldn't be any more true.
I think it's one of the most powerful onboarding mechanisms that we have in this space in terms of, you know, gaining user interest and having users to come take a look at what's going on in these ecosystems.
It's a really powerful way to do so.
But I couldn't agree with you more here.
I think finding the ways to make it a bit more sustainable and something that can go past the initial phase is what so many teams are trying to figure out.
And how to turn these from, you know, just good old airdrops to, you know, maybe something more frequent.
We can call them play drops or we can call them something else.
But, you know, something that's going to consistently keep the user engaged and activated over time.
And there are so many fun mechanics in Web3 that allow us to be able to, you know, to experiment and find some of these interesting ways.
I'd love to kick it over to Jonathan because I heard you say early in the call on your intro that you guys might be tying in a real life experience with the Airdrop campaign.
So tell us a little bit more about that because that's really interesting.
That's something I've seen done in the space as of yet.
Cheers, man.
First of all, thanks a lot to all of the speakers because I think that, you know, a lot of value is already being thrown around within the space.
So everybody down in the audience, definitely, you know, go check out these speakers, give them a follow, share the space.
And yeah, let's grow.
Let's grow in general.
Super stoked to be here.
In general, I do indeed hear, you know, a lot about airdrops.
From our site, we do have, you know, our token coming, our TGE is planned for Q3.
So stay tuned for that.
But we are, we have done, you know, already a massive kind of early airdrop on that and that kind of, you know, build the base of our Web3 audience in our community.
As we do come mainly from the automotive world.
We started originally about 15 years ago as a real world car club.
So that's mainly, you know, where all of our audience is.
And just building over the last two and a half years has, you know, kind of taught us a lot.
And also, you know, learned us because I personally have been in crypto space since 2017.
But seeing, you know, that people have been going through these different cycles and, you know, indeed, there are so many bots sometimes, you know, participating or whatnot.
Or just certain airdrops are completely not worth it.
And we are kind of right now playing around with two things.
I would say, first of all, not just any more, you know, hyping up our token, but also playing around with NFTs.
We have our own curated marketplace.
But I believe that any kind of project, you know, can play around with NFTs and, you know, give people, you know, specific kind of roles.
Is that in Discord or, you know, is that additional features that they unlock within their respective platforms itself?
I think those are very interesting things because, like, through gating, people kind of, you know, feel one level higher included, right?
Or they might have access to, like, speak somebody of the core team or all of these kind of things definitely, you know, make people feel way more included.
And then coming back to what you said in terms of real-world experience, like, we have been doing, like, real-world automotive events for many, many years now.
We have taken people to the track, you know, we let them drive in our own cars.
We've been huge in sim racing.
And now, basically, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to pin up a tweet, but recently, this is kind of like a huge alpha.
You're the first space I'm going to be sharing this on.
But we did a huge new partnership, if you allow me to pin it up, with BitDegree.
Now, so why is this important to us is because BitDegree is kind of known as, like, you know, a big educational platform within the Web3 space.
And we ourselves know that, like, a lot of people might have zero idea even, you know, what's a wallet, what's a seed phrase, you know.
How would they even know how to participate, for God's sake, like, in, you know, airdrops that are actually worth it.
So with them, we're actually going to do an exclusive airdrop where obviously something is going to be in stables or some kind of coin.
And the other thing is going to be an actual invite.
So we're going to take one winner with us to the Nürburgring to join us this summer.
That's it.
Hope that's enough alpha.
I'm going to leave it at that.
I was probably not allowed to say that.
But cheers.
All the love.
Don't worry, Jonathan.
We're not going to.
Nobody up on this panel is going to snitch.
We appreciate you dropping that alpha.
And that is super cool.
You guys are essentially airdropping an IRL experience for fans of the sport that is racing.
So that's an incredible experience and a way for, you know, for people to really remember this campaign and activation, which is really cool.
And I love to see teams experimenting with these kind of ideas like how do we make these on-chain experiences, but how do we also make these IRL experiences that really, you know, bring people something that they can remember.
I'd love to toss it over to our man, Marcelo.
What's going on with Beast League?
How are you guys approaching this airdrop meta?
Is there anything that you guys are cooking on your side through leaderboards or through a token airdrop to really engage users as you guys are kicking things off over on your side?
Yeah, absolutely.
I just want to say I've been vibing out over here appreciating what everyone is saying.
Lots of great insights and lots of great information.
As for Beast League, you know, I'll drop a bit of alpha here.
We're going to be cooking up a big tournament very soon.
It's been what we've been working on behind the scenes.
I'll leave it at that.
But definitely, you know, I love what Nabera from Genzo Meadow was saying in terms of the leaderboards.
I think that's definitely an incredible way to encourage players and keep them motivated.
And, you know, having a bit of a healthy competition is always a good thing, I think.
So we're definitely going to have leaderboards.
We're going to be giving away prizes.
We're going to be giving away a bunch of stuff.
And it'll be for our utility token, Beast Coins.
So a lot of players are going to be able to compete with each other.
We're going to have some custom matches.
A lot of cool stuff coming over the next few weeks.
So I'll be rolling out more info around that.
I'm really excited.
And, you know, just to add to the conversation, you know, observing and seeing what's going on, you know, I know some different airdrops and different projects were mentioned here.
You know, something that I think that's caught my attention is definitely, you know, the whole SocialFi campaigns, I think, have been really interesting.
You had mentioned PacMoon earlier, Justin.
They're doing a really, really incredible job just kind of gamifying the whole SocialFi thing and getting content creators to talk about it, create memes, and that whole thing.
I think it's really smart.
You know, I think everything lives on Twitter, right?
And when you're on your timeline and you see people sharing stuff, any way to kind of get people to share information and share content, especially if you have gameplay content, I think is definitely a really interesting way to get people to share the word and to kind of spread everything.
So that's just the thing that I've been observing.
I know Blast was mentioned as well.
They're doing some really cool stuff as well through Ecosystem, and they've been absolutely crushing it.
But, yeah, that's a little bit about where we're going to be asleep, so we're going to have some tournaments coming very soon.
We're going to be able to compete with each other.
We'll be able to work and win that.
And this is probably going to come to our job, so we're really excited about that.
Love that, Marcelo.
Thank you so much for sharing more there.
Yeah, touching on PacMoon one more time here.
Something that I love about that meta is that it's definitely something more sustainable, right?
That's something that a project can do well after the token has launched, engaging with the community in the timeline, rewarding organic content, and then using the main account of the game or the community to engage directly with community members.
I think it's a really cool, fun, interesting way to keep the community engaged and also to just keep excitement and kind of continue to remind people about the token ecosystem by rewarding them in that token for things that they do socially.
So I really think that there's a new playbook being written in terms of how communities will engage with their users across social channels, and I think that there's so much more that can be done around that.
And I know a lot of us are taking notes there on how we can integrate something similar within our own ecosystems.
I'd now like to kick it over to Nayan.
We didn't get a chance to get an intro, so please do say hello, whoever's joining us from Nayan Heroes, and give us your insights around creating worthy airdrops for the Nayan community.
Do we have the Nayan Heroes team in the building with us?
Are you guys able to hear us?
If you were chatting, your microphone wasn't on.
We'll see if we can get you on here.
Yo, yo, yo, yo, Justin.
Hey, this guy has been quiet, acting like he's got nothing to say over here, huh?
Jorge, I know that voice when I hear it, man.
You are a one-of-one.
Talk to us, brother.
What's cooking?
Oh, man, you know, just, you know, had TG this past week.
You know, it's always a fun.
Is Jorge, has Jorge gone silent for anybody else except me?
Thumbs up if Jorge went silent for you guys.
I can't hear him, yeah.
Yeah, I think Jorge's having some microphone issues.
I was in the love monster space yesterday, and they were like saying he's been under the weather for the past couple of days.
I don't know if it was how he's feeling.
Yeah, he sounded pretty energetic just now.
We'll see if we get him back.
But in the meantime, I guess, all right, there he is.
Yeah, yeah, sorry.
Yeah, I actually had back surgery, so the medicine sometimes kicks in.
So yesterday I was pretty bad, but I'm back in full force now, ready to school you in hoops whenever you're ready.
Finally, finally got my back fixed.
But anyways, yeah, we had TG this past week.
As you all know, it's always a fun time to do these kind of launches in the space.
You know, tremendous, tremendous support from the community, partners and friends, even with a little bit of hiccups.
I think it really shows the strength of our product, the strength that we have and belief in the vision of what we're building.
It's been really, really cool to see everybody kind of react to, you know, like, again, people are laughing.
I think we're talking airdrops here.
And it's like, you know, ours was a play to airdrop.
And I think everybody forgot the first word, play.
And, you know, I think it's funny that, you know, we hear a lot of it.
I mean, playing the game is very, very important.
And I think, like, you know, we were very much wanting to cater to gamers like anybody else in the space.
But we wanted to make sure gamers were enjoying what they were playing with.
And I think, again, the numbers speak a lot for what the game is, right?
I think we're averaging anywhere between 35 to 40, even more right now on DAU.
And it really, again, I think is a great reflection as well on where we are with a token and, you know, and pricing and all that stuff.
And we're just really excited about to keep building.
And we have a lot in the bag right now that we're going to start now leaking out as we've done this part of the roadmap.
So, yeah, again, excited for the future.
Appreciate you popping on and touching on this subject, Jorge.
Hey, I'd love to hear, like, after going through this initial TGE, getting the feedback from the community, also a lot of chatter on the timeline, a lot of people saying, hey, you know, play the airdrop.
This is what it should be.
It should be players enjoying the game and playing a game that they enjoy to play so that anything that happens additionally is just a plus.
But the fact that they're in there enjoying the game is what the players come there for.
So I'm totally on board with the way Nayan has approached this.
And I hope it's the way that a lot of games will continue to approach this, which is go player first.
Go for the audience that truly enjoys your game and is happy with anything that they get in terms of, you know, financial rewards from being skilled players.
So I'd love to hear, like, after you guys have taken in that initial feedback, are there any adjustments that you guys are thinking about making, any tweaks in terms of how you kind of approach this now that you're after the TGE?
Well, I think, like, you know, if you look at the top 100, you know, for the airdrop, for the play to airdrop, it's a lot of players.
And I don't think there's any player right now complaining about their airdrop.
If you didn't see Alex GG, I mean, my man granted and got first place.
But, wow, the reward he got, I was like, you know, to even us, we were like, oh, my God.
Wait, wait, wait. What did he get?
You know, that's awesome.
What did he get?
I think he had a little bit over 50,000 in Nayan.
And so I'll let you do the math.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So, you know, it's impressive.
But, again, play to airdrop, right?
Play the game.
Have fun playing the game.
Grind the hours and enjoy it.
And I think, like, it's a great testament to what we're building.
And I think the changes going forward.
Yeah, I mean, like, you know, we have season, the next season coming out.
Well, we're working on the next season coming out.
I don't think really much will change.
I think now everybody has a great understanding that, like, they need to play the game.
And it's very clear.
And it's not just, like, social campaigns.
And I'm not, I don't think social campaigns are anything bad with it.
Just an FYI.
A lot of, you know, games do social campaigns.
And it's a great way to build.
For where we were at the stage of our company and our project, it made a lot of sense for us to make sure people were playing the game to get the validation and proof of concept of, like, okay, this game is truly fun.
Get the feedback from people playing.
And listen to the feedback.
When we did the first play test, the alpha demo, last month and a half, a lot of feedback.
And we went to the drawing board and we said, okay, what can we change?
What can we work on?
Of course, you know, like, the things that were appropriate in the time span that we were going to be closed.
And again, like, you know, ranked play was a huge thing.
And so, like, that is exactly what we did.
We went, listened to the community, came back with ranked play, and people loved and enjoyed it.
Now we got more feedback on, like, how to improve.
So I think it's very, very important to do play the airdrop.
I think it's very, very important to learn and there's changes coming, but it's more on the game side.
Love that.
Love that.
Always be testing, be listening to the community, but also stand strong in what you guys believe in, which is player first economies.
I absolutely love that.
I think this is the way.
I'll even speak to a game that I'm grinding right now, which is Wagme Defense, for those of you guys who know the legend.
Scott, the Wagme team is absolutely cooking.
That game right there, I will play that game and feel so rewarded just by being able to win games, kind of open loot boxes, upgrade my cards to be able to have better decks to whoop on people that I then want to troll in the timeline.
Like, that's the reward for me.
Anything else on top of that, like, they're going to drop me some tokens later on down the road because of those tails that I whooped on the timeline.
Like, that's just going to be like Christmas, you know.
But being, you know, enjoying the game first and foremost, that right there is how you build a true player base, I think, in this space.
And then you'll, you know, you'll attract a lot more users that are very happy with any type of rewards that are, you know, that are coming to them through different type of campaigns within these game ecosystems.
So, love that, man, and appreciate you giving us a little bit more insights on how you guys are approaching it now after the TGE.
But also, huge congrats on that, by the way, because it takes so much to even get to the point that you guys have gotten to with a game as flushed out as Nine Heroes is.
So, definitely looking forward to seeing where you guys kind of take things next.
We are kind of a hit.
Yeah, man, absolutely.
We're now running up on our time here today, guys.
We didn't get a chance to do any outros, but I think it's because, you know, there was just so much alpha being dropped here.
Such a good conversation.
This is one that, for sure, Leo, we got to bring this topic back up on a very recent next chat that we have because this topic, I feel like we need a two- or a three-hour chat to really go even deeper layers.
But I want to thank you guys for sharing what you shared.
Insights from other builders is like, man, there's no value you can put on it.
There's so many of us trying to learn in this space.
And hearing what's going good and hearing what's, you know, maybe needs some tweaking, that stuff is super, super valuable for all of us.
So, really appreciate you guys openly sharing these things.
And we'd love to absolutely have you guys come back and share on the next one when we do this again and talk a lot more about creating worthy airdrops in this space.
Any last things anybody wants to get off before we close things out here?
Let's see if we can hang on another minute or two and just get any last important notes that you guys might have for us.
Join our Discord, see what happens.
Join our Kepler citizenship program and have fun.
Check out our airdrops and play Diva Monofilisto on Play Store and App Store.
Absolutely.
I'll be checking out Dev Mon for sure.
And I'm in the OBS world, Discord.
So, show me something, Jonathan.
I'm waiting to see it.
Quick hello to my man, Luke.
The legend himself just came in and popped by.
Another hello to Sahil joining us as well.
Community manager from KJN.
What's going on, my man?
MetaToys in the building.
Hi, MetaToys.
I just want to say some quick hellos to the people joining us down in the box down there.
So, appreciate you guys coming to hang out and listen on this talk.
And we look forward to having you guys back.
If you're not already in the Telegram, by the way, Leo will be reaching out to you guys to send you over an invite to get you into the Telegram so that you guys are aware when we do this weekly show.
And you guys can pop in and pop up onto the stage at any time.
Nobara, what do you got for us?
I've actually got some alpha drops for you guys.
And I think someone earlier said something they weren't meant to.
So, I'm kind of going to join this.
Join the bandwagon and say, we just did a teaser post earlier today.
We've transferred 21 million MV tokens over to Arbitrum 1.
So, something really, really, really big is coming for Genso in the next few days.
So, please keep an eye out because we're going to have a lot of kind of activation events to support what's coming.
And another thing that we teased earlier today.
Not from the official account, but our CEO, Maxi Kuan, actually shared the preview.
We are finally working on a PVP mode for Genso.
And I hope that it's going to be live in the next few weeks.
And it's something that, you know, as an MMO, I'm really happy that we're able to have it in place.
So, keep an eye out for this.
There's so many exciting things coming up.
So, hopefully, we'll be able to discuss them in one of the next episodes.
Thank you so much for having us today.
This was an awesome session.
That's amazing, Nobara.
Ooh, that's a big alpha right there.
And excited to hear about the PVP.
That is going to be fun.
I am looking forward to that.
So, definitely drop the announcements in the Gaming on the Edge channel.
And I implore any of you guys that are inside Gaming on the Edge,
when you guys have something big cooking up, drop it in the chat.
Because there's a lot of builders in there, including myself,
that would love to know when these things are being launched.
The algorithm doesn't always feed it to us the way we want to see it.
So, definitely drop those news articles on us so we can stay in the loop.
With that being said, I want to thank you guys all one last time for joining us today.
And we will catch you guys all on the next one.
Have an amazing day or an amazing evening, wherever you guys are tuning in from.
And we'll catch you all later.
Take care.
