Today our topic will discuss about something of the market review with our Web3 project, CBindex.
Oh yeah, I just noticed you used your personal account instead of CBindex.
Is that okay or should I switch to the official account?
Maybe can you use your official account to join as well?
So my name is JQ from the Oxygen, so I'm excited to host the AMA today.
And I will first give a brief introduction about Oxygen and later on we'll have projects CBindex
to intro, then we will go into our second part, which we will prepare five questions for project
And the last part, we will open the stage to all the audience.
If you have any question, you can raise your hand.
So Oxygen is an ultimate one-stop liquidity aggregator that offers the best shop experience for Web3
Another thing is we are an EV to build SDK and APIs for projects.
So we encourage for those who want to integrate our API to their project, you can drop us a
And then our platform is integrated with Todddex like Scylla, 1H, Matcha, OpenOcean and Jupiter
in order to provide the deepest liquidity.
And currently, Oxygen has covered 19 chains included ETH, BNB, Solana, Arbitrum, Zkacin and
So if you go to our website, Oxygen.io, it's 0xgen.io, then we have some exciting features
such as swap feature, cross-chain swap, trading signal and trade to earn.
So please find out more to visit our website.
Then some of the features will happen in the future.
So some of the features will happen in the future such as like NFT marketplace aggregator,
a referral platform and so on.
So once again, we aim to provide the quickest and easiest swap service between different blockchains.
I'll give an example now how to use our website.
So if you have ETH on BNB chain and you like to make it back to ETH mandate, you can do it
on Oxygen with the cross-chain swap service.
And it is very quick and it's just a click of things and easy.
So Oxygen will help you to find the best rate and the quickest cross-chain solution.
So that means that you don't need to search it on web for yourself.
So we are trying to help a web user shorten their cross-chain swapping time and swap time.
So Oxygen hold many campaigns every week to give away our OG badge.
This OG badge is able to claim our token when we release maybe next year Q1 or Q2.
The user can also interact with Oxygen to accumulate more tokens with your trading fees.
Yes, so now welcome our speaker Ray from the CB Index project.
Yeah, maybe you can hear some different perspective of market review from the project CB Index.
So yes, Ray, please give us a brief introduction of yourself and your project to our audience.
Okay, all right, all right.
I believe it's JQ, right?
Anyways, can you guys hear me?
I'm Ray, the founder of CB Index.
First off, I'd like to express my gratitude to Oxygen for hosting this AMA and giving us the
opportunity to connect with this wonderful community.
I guess there are more people coming.
I got my PhD in the US and have been fortunate enough to establish several successful tech companies,
although in the web tool realm.
And my introduction to the world of cryptocurrency began in 2013, as I remember.
That was during my academic years.
where I first came across Bitcoin.
Though I recognized its potential, I didn't fully grasp the magnitude of its impact at the
Therefore, I, yeah, obviously I failed to see the opportunity to become a BTC Well at that
As I ventured into building my web tool companies, I became increasingly intrigued by the transformative
power of blockchain technologies.
They are changing everything and developing very fast.
This led me to delve deeper into the crypto space, not just as an entrepreneur, but also
Over the years, I've supported various blockchain startups with funding and technology.
And continuously made investments in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other altcoins.
My passion for blockchain technologies led to the inception of the project we are talking
CBindex is a comprehensive toolkit and protocol tailored for on-chain investment and asset management.
Our primary goal is to optimize the crypto investment process, making it accessible and efficient
for both newcomers and seasoned investors.
We've designed a platform that caters to a diverse range of users within the crypto ecosystem,
from those transitioning from traditional finances to the crypto world who can utilize our platform's
simulator to practice crypto investment without real-world risks.
To experience the crypto enthusiasts who can leverage advanced tools to manage and grow their portfolios.
We are proud of the strides we've made so far, and our roadmap is packed with innovative features
that we believe will further enhance the crypto investment landscape.
I'm excited to dive deeper into our offerings and the vision during this AMA.
Thank you for your introduction and thank you for your brief introduction about your project.
So, let's move on to section two.
So, please tell us more about CBindex and how do users use your toolkits in your website?
For the opportunity to share more about CBindex.
At its essence, CBindex is a pioneering platform that seeks to bridge the gap between traditional
and decentralized finance, making crypto investments more intuitive and accessible, as I mentioned
We've designed a dual components for seamless transition.
CBindex uniquely combines two integral components.
One is a centralized application.
We call it the simulator, and the other one is a decentralized application built on blockchain.
The centralized simulator is designed for newcomers.
It offers a risk-free environment to understand and practice crypto investments.
It's like a sandbox where users, especially newcomers, can experience without reward consequences,
without losing their assets.
All the users, as the users become more confident about their crypto investments, we can transition
to our decentralized platform, which mirrors the simulator's features, but operates entirely
on-chain, decentralized, and harnessing the power and transparency of blockchain technologies.
CBindex isn't just a platform.
It is a comprehensive toolkit and protocol.
Whether you are a novice trying to navigate the crypto spaces or a seasoned investor, CBindex provides
Features like co-investing, on-chain active funds, and index funds are there for all the users.
Our platform serves a wide spectrum of the crypto community.
For beginners, the simulator is their playground to learn and grow.
For experienced investors, they can expand their portfolios, share their strategies, and influence the community.
And as for crypto fund managers, they can create, manage, and promote their funds, drawing a diverse range of investors.
Beyond being an investment platform, CBindex is an education hub as well.
Users can gain insights into crypto investment strategies and market trends, etc.
The collaborative nature of our platform means users can learn from each other.
This hence fostering a vibrant community of informed investors.
So how do users use our platform?
Let's give you an example.
So let's say Jane, we have Jane here, a traditional stock market investor.
She has been hearing a lot about the potential of cryptocurrencies.
However, she's hesitant due to the perceived complexity and risk associated with crypto investments, as everybody knows.
Jane discovered CBindex, and she's intrigued by our CBindex simulator feature.
And she signs up and starts using the simulator, which mimics real world crypto trading without actual monetary stakes.
Within the simulator, Jane creates a virtual portfolio.
She claims virtual USDT from the faucet and allocates it into her fund with different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and some other DeFi tokens, let's say.
And she also experiments with copy investing, where she mirrors the investment strategies for top performing virtual portfolios on the platform.
Over time, Jane becomes comfortable with the platform's tool and the dynamics of crypto investment.
She decided to transition to real world investments using CBindex decentralized features.
She mirrors her virtual portfolio with real funds.
She also starts exploring other advanced tools like active and index fund management.
Jane becomes an active member of the CBindex community.
She shares her investment strategies, learn from others, and even becomes an influencer on the platform, allowing other users to copy her investment strategies.
So in this example, CBindex serves as a bridge for Jane, transitioning her from a traditional investor to a confident crypto investor.
The platform's tool and the community support play a crucial role in her journey, ensuring she makes informed decisions in the decentralized finance world.
Okay, yeah, that's my answer for the question you raised.
Yeah, thank you, Ray, for the explanation.
Yeah, I have saw inside the CBindex website, there's more things like you can dig for more information.
So, yeah, just open the website and then you can find out more information from that.
What do you think about the market movement responding to the market demand now?
So, what do you think about the market movement now?
Okay, before answering the question, yes, our website, thank you for mentioning that, our website is cbindex.finance.
So, welcome everyone to check it out.
Okay, as for the question, what do I think about the market movement?
I think Web3 represents the next evolution of the internet, emphasizing decentralization,
trustless protocols, and user ownership.
The market movement in response to Web3 demands, I suppose, fascinating and indicative of a broader
shift in how we perceive value, ownership, and data.
Traditional centralized systems are increasingly being challenged by decentralized alternatives.
The market is showing a clear preference for platforms and services that prioritize our
autonomy, reduced intermediaries, and decentralized governance.
This is evident in the rise of DeFi platforms, DAOs and DApps, that are gaining traction.
Recently, the concept of tokenization, where real-world assets, also known as RWA, can be represented
as digital tokens on the blockchain.
It is revolutionizing industries.
Everything from art, real estate, to intellectual property is being tokenized, allowing for more fluid
and decentralized markets.
This is the direct response to the demand for more flexible and globalized financial systems.
With increasing concerns about data privacy and surveillance in the Web2 world, Web3 offers a
paradigm where users have ownership of their data.
The market is responding positively to platforms that offer self-sovereign identities and data
monetization opportunities for users rather than cooperations.
As the Web3 ecosystem grows, there is a clear market demand for solutions that allow different
blockchains and platforms to interact seamlessly.
Projects focusing on cross-chain interoperability are gaining significant attention, indicating a desire
for a more interconnected and collaborative Web3 space.
The market is also signaling the need for robust Web3 infrastructure.
As more users and developers enter this space, scalable solutions, efficient consensus mechanisms,
and user-friendly developer tools are in high demand.
So, in essence, I think the market movement in response to Web3 showcases a collective desire
for a more open, decentralized, and user-centric digital future.
It is a testament to the transformative potential of Web3 and its capacity to reshape industries
Yeah, thank you for your answer.
Do you guys join the 2049 events in Singapore?
Because we went to Montenegro for EDCon 2023, and we went to Hong Kong for the Web3 festival.
That was enough events for us for this year, I guess.
But we'll probably go to Shanghai next week for the WANxiang blockchain week.
Yeah, we're missing out the chance for going to Singapore.
I see a lot of my friends in the crypto space.
Yeah, mostly they are taking photos with all those projects, KOLs.
But I heard that from this time, the Singapore to 2049, the event is quite small.
Depends on, I mean, comparing with the last event.
Maybe someone can talk about it.
Maybe next time someone can share more about the events.
That's what I heard as well.
So, what I heard was like, there are even more projects or companies than actual, like,
visitors, something like that.
So, that's understandable, I guess.
I remember last time, the 2049, that time sheet, the FTX issue.
Maybe that time is not a very good memory.
That's probably one of the reasons.
Let's move on to the next question.
So, does CBindex plan to launch a native token?
So, what's your tokenomic design?
In my definition, a native token is for a layer one blockchain.
So, we will not have a native token since we are not a layer one blockchain.
But, CBindex has plans to introduce a token, maybe like ERC type, ERC 20 type of token, to
further enhance our ecosystem and align with the decentralized echoes of Web3.
So, yeah, we definitely will have token sometime, maybe like next year or in two years.
It depends on the development of the project.
So, the token basically, I don't think there are any innovations on the token side of things.
So, basically, they have governance roles and the incentivizations and the payment of fees
and just basically work like that.
So, in our design, token holders will have a lot of projects through this.
Token holders will have a say in the direction and development of the project.
This includes voting, feature proposals, platform updates, and other key decisions.
It ensures that our community is involved and is at the heart of our evolution.
So, that's for governance side of things.
And for incentivization, the token will be used to reward users for their active participation
on the platform, whether it is through copy investing, fund management, or community contributions.
We believe in rewarding those who add value to the CBNX ecosystem.
As for payment and fees, we will be like charging some fees on our platform for the 2K side of features.
So, and also for the protocol side of transactions.
So, the token can be used to pay for various services within the CBNX platform,
potentially at discount rates.
This includes transaction fees, premium features, and other value added to the services, as I can think of.
So, that's about our like.
We will have token and how this, what are the values of token within our ecosystem.
As for the tokenomics, it has not been finalized yet.
So, it is not proper to disclose it at this moment.
But we will update it on our website once it is finalized.
Okay, thank you for the question.
Yeah, thank you for the things you want to share.
So, just one thing, I just want to make sure that, is that the user interact with your website from the MetaMask that can have a chance to get some airdrop in the future?
The answer is yes and no, because, so right now we are operating our centralized application, the simulator.
So, in order for newcomers to use the simulator seamlessly, we did not require users to sign in with MetaMask.
So, basically, they can sign in with Twitter, Google accounts, or email.
So, that makes it impossible for us to connect the user's centralized account to their MetaMask addresses at this moment.
But, we will provide a feature in the simulator to allow users to connect their MetaMask addresses to their centralized account.
So, at that moment, all the users, yes, the users who use our simulator, who interact with our simulators, will automatically participate in our first round of airdrop event.
And they will get rewarded.
And this reward will eventually be, like, redeemed as our token.
So, but before that happens, obviously, we will make the users, or provide users with the ability of connecting the wallet address and their account.
And also, we'll be having a clear, like, token issuing plan and tokenomics plan.
So, yes, that's a good question.
So, welcome to our, like, try out our simulator.
There will, there are lots of rewards at this stage.
Yeah, thank you for that.
So, do you have any, I mean, index you want to share to the audience for speculating crypto market?
When we speculate in crypto market, is any index important for trading or for, like, short-term investing?
Okay, that's, that's a tricky question.
Yes, I think I have, I have some in mind, but I cannot say that they are, they are good because, you know, different perspectives.
So, yeah, a seed index offer also offers a unique approach to, like, to create crypto indexes.
If anyone wants to try it, we have a tool for crypto index creation.
It's in one of our application platform, which you can find on our website, I mentioned before.
So, there are some crypto indexes already created by our users.
Those indexes, those public indexes are shown on the platform right now.
So, some of those indexes are indicated.
For example, there's index, there's index called Binance 50, as I remember.
That's basically a collection of top 50 tokens in terms of market capitalization on Binance listed on Binance.
So, this, this Binance 50 index basically reveals the overall performance of tokens on Binance.
So, what I'm saying is, like, if you use our crypto index creation tool, you can basically create your own index at your will.
You can, you know, like, make different combinations, use different index creation methods to try to create some meaningful index.
And also, you can check out others.
There are some pretty cool pros.
They made some index on our platform.
So, that's about the CB index index.
That's a little bit hard to say.
But, yeah, besides our index tool, here are some indices and, I would say, or matrix that I believe are crucial for anyone looking to speculate on the crypto market.
So, first of all, it's Bitcoin dominance matrix.
So, this matrix shows Bitcoin's market cap as a percentage of total crypto market cap.
I think everyone knows it.
So, I will, yeah, I will stop here.
So, the second one is TDL, total value locked, especially relevant for DeFi in CSTX.
TDL represents the total amount of assets locked in various DeFi protocols, which is pretty low right now.
But, anyways, it is a good index or indicator for the overall performance of DeFi field, as well as for the crypto space as a whole.
And, the other one comes to my mind is fear and grid index.
I think most of us see it on some websites, maybe, like, for example, CMC, CoinGecko, stuff like that.
So, this index gauges the emotions and sentiments driving the market.
It can be useful, constraint indicators.
So, that's fear and grid index.
And, there's another matrix, on-chain matrix, which is very, very important.
This matrix like active addresses, transaction counts, and token age consumed can provide insights into a particular blockchain or ecosystem or token activity and health.
So, and lastly, exchange inflows, outflows.
Monitoring the amount of cryptocurrency moving in and out of exchange can provide clues about the potential price movements.
Large inflows might indicate potential selling pressure, while outflows can suggest a holding sentiment.
But, remember, these indexes and the metrics can provide valuable insights, probably.
But, it is essential to use them in conjunction with other research tools and not rely solely on any one of those.
So, the crypto market is highly volatile, as we all know, and we need a multifaceted approach to analyze it.
So, yeah, that's my answer. Thank you.
Well, thank you for your sharing.
Yeah, you guys are very professional with those index and data.
So, I hope the audience can get what you are trying to share.
Yeah, so, this is the last question.
So, what is the CB index this year and future development?
What is your planning for this year and the future?
Okay, so, what do we are now and what's going to happen next year?
Okay, so, yeah, that's a great question.
So, I can bring out our roadmap.
So, CB index has had an event for a year, I would say, and our vision for the future is even more ambitious.
So, this year, we've focused, we've been focused on the centralized application, the simulator.
So, we've successfully launched the beta version of our centralized investment simulator.
This platform allows newcomers to familiarize themselves with crypto investments in a risk-free environment,
as I mentioned a couple times before.
So, it's been instrumental in helping users transition from traditional finance to decentralized world.
And we've seen that's happening already.
So, we have, as I recall this morning, that'll be like 2300 users registered in our centralized simulator already.
And that number is increasing every day.
So, yeah, that's the simulator, beta version.
And also, we've been working on user engagement.
Since the launch of the simulator beta version, we've been closely monitoring various metrics, like the counts of simulated funds in the simulator,
and deleting and copy investors, and the number of registered users, simulated fund investments, false claims, and swap transactions, all this data.
And this data helps us refine our offerings and better cater to our user base.
And we've been keep optimizing our simulator based on these feedbacks and data.
And also, for community building, we've focused on building a robust community around CP index through educational content, AMAs, such as this one, and interactive sessions.
We've fostered a space where users can learn, share, and grow together.
So, yeah, that's pretty much about it for this year.
And for the rest of the quarter, we'll probably keep working on the things I mentioned earlier.
So, for next year, yeah, the big movement would be like the decentralization of beta's features.
So, building on the success of our simulator, we are gearing up to launch the decentralized components of BD index.
This will mirror the simulator's features, but will operate entirely on chain, offering a transparent and secure environment for real investments for all the investors.
And we're also planning to introduce a few features like on-chain index fund, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights.
These tools will empower users to make more informed investment decisions.
So, more tools going to be integrated into our both simulator and the decentralized application.
And also, recognizing the vast potential of the developer community, we are making CB index underlying protocol open when it is ready.
This will allow developers to contribute additional tools or integrate existing ones, further enhancing our platform's capabilities.
And the last but not least, about global expansion.
While we've made significant inroads in certain markets, our vision is global.
So, we plan to expand our reach, catering our offerings to cater to various regions and their unique needs, and open up to more collaborators, partners.
For example, oxygen here.
In essence, CB index journey is all about evolution.
We started with a simple idea, and as the crypto landscape evolves, so do we.
Our commitment is to provide the best tools, resources, and environment for anyone looking to venture into the world of crypto investments.
So, once again, I want to give a brief introduction about CB index.
So, CB index is one-stop, two-keys, and a protocol for decentralized investment and crypto access management with the vision of powering better crypto investment.
So, oxygen is doing, like, one-stop liquidity aggregator, yeah, for swap and cross-chain swap.
Here is all our questions that we want to ask CB index.
So, now we turn to the last section, which is we open the stage for all the audience.
So, if you guys have any questions, you can raise your hand.
So, I will pull you up, and then you can ask any question about market movement, CB index, or oxygen.
We will count out from one minute.
There is a small question for CB index.
What stands for CB index?
I mean, do you have any idea?
I do have the idea because I'm the founder.
Yeah, CB index is obvious, right?
Because at the beginning, we were trying to learn from the index methodology in the traditional finance world and optimize it, innovate it into Web3 world.
So, that's why it's index.
And for CB, CB represents Cypher Babel.
So, Cypher without further explanation, everyone knows Cypher.
Cypherpunk is also Cypher.
I think some of us know it.
I think some of us know it.
It's like a story in, I would say, I think it's in part of the Bible.
So, I'm not familiar with that story.
But I know this concept and I know the meaning of Babel.
So, I, along with the team members, we coined the name Cypher Babel, which in short is CB.
So, that's where it comes from.
So, it's hard for people to remember Cypher Babel and hard to pronounce it.
So, I think CB is better.
That's really interesting.
I thought it's, so it's Cypher Bible, right?
I thought it's Cypher Babel.
So, it is hard to pronounce, even for me.
Yeah, CB is better to understand.
That's good to, like, yeah.
Good for people to, like, make connections and then realize, okay, it's a Cypher project,
and they remember our name, right?
So, I guess there is no question from the audience.
So, before we end up, Ray, do you have anything to add on before we close the Twitter space?
I guess it's just the timing.
You know, everyone is basically Everest in 2049, and they are having fun there.
Some of us are having fun here.
And I think you guys know more about CB-leds after this.
So, I think we will definitely have some, like, cooperation in terms of product and also communities in future.
That's basically what I want to express today.
Thank you, Ray, for here and sharing with us.
And then, okay, we will wrap up this AMA.
So, guys, please do not forget to follow OxygenCBindex for sharing this AMA.
And then, hope you guys enjoy.
And then, have a great Friday for me here, Friday night.
And for everyone, maybe Friday morning, Friday afternoon.
Thank you for having here.
