to envision other parallels but outside of shroud to be sneaky though like deception just doesn't align
with them when i when i think of all the other factions in the parallels it's like
only shroud comes to mind when when i think of deception but obviously there's not going to be
an entire expansion just dedicated to to one faction hey i mean i'm cool with that shroud
meta incoming shroud meta get out of here with the
shroud meta no one wants to see it yo earthen's not even in the game anymore why is bad guy here

or at least he joined the team mid planetfall um and then i think he had his hands on aftermath for
the most part and now obviously he has like full reign plus the other team members in in deception
but i'm pretty sure deception is gonna be like baby. Because, you know, you guys have changed careers, changed jobs.
And, you know, you can get your feet wet, but you don't really feel comfortable until a certain amount of time.
So I feel like Aftermath was him getting comfortable with the team, with the mechanics, with the game.
You know, just getting used to his surroundings.
And then now Deception, he's like, all right, let me ball.
Let me ball. Let ball let him cook yeah yeah like they they gave him the steering wheel now so it's time for him to drive yeah and i mean as much as i want to dive into to the other titles and stuff i think
they look great um did you know bad guy was the only one who actually got colony access over the weekend
tbk probably not a big fan at the moment oh was it just me yeah it was it was only bad guy out of
us three so shout out hey shout out b-man b-man is the greatest without you know going on for
let's say five or ten minutes just i mean give us just your overview of colony what
you mainly liked about it things that you could see having some improvement oh man
first of all colony was amazing like the shorter list is what didn't I like about it like
just the the endless possibilities of like what you could actually do like like i thought it
was like they label it as a passive game right i don't think a single person from the test put the
game down i think we all played it for 10 hours like yes um i checked it like religiously throughout
the day um but it's but yeah it's literally you're talking to your ai like agent and you're just
having it do tasks and then you, and then it's just like,
whatever you can think of, like, hey, make this or cook this.
Or there's like, there's like objectives and goals
you can do to help level up.
But like the main thing is just,
the main thing is just constantly like growing
and figuring out like what you want want to do the entire time.
I wanted to make weapons.
That's all I wanted to do, to constantly make weapons and prepare for battle.
I made combat drones and I made pistols.
I made a flamethrower and I was close to making a
former rocket launcher and I was trying to make like an Iron Man suit. That was my whole goal.
But you can literally like prompt it, ask it like, hey, what do we, like if you don't even know what to do,
you just ask it like, hey, what should we do here? Like what, it's literally a chat GBT,
like what should we do here? What what is the best course of action like
like my guy was a kane kane one um engineer he was he was a out and core engineer on kane one
so he kept saying like he was like very heavily involved in advanced technology
so like i was like all right what advanced technology can we make that's how we got to like
combat drone i started making drones and stuff but man the game is so fun and just endless just just a weird
question for you actually two two questions one about colony weird question if you had an avatar
from like let's say a kathari you know kathari avatar could you make it an augen core engineer
or you had to stay within like the framework the the ones we the only ones we had were organ core so i don't know
like but there was different like prompts so like like i think someone i saw on twitter asked like
like oh i can't wait to like i wanted to be shroud or whatever and then like the funny thing is is
like one of our like um skills or like backgrounds we if we could say um I'm a Shroud Spy.
That was an interesting sport.
And then it had certain buffs to stats.
So you had every stat or every skill had a certain plus,
but whatever you chose for your background,
that was your added bonuses to your stats.
So a Shroud Spy like very cunning and like could like
have you persuasive and like conversations and then like there's a minor so like you're good at
mining or engineering or like i think lamby and uh who's it lamby and orphan i think had like
they had um like uh depressed poets or whatever so like they had such a tough time because like they didn't
want to do anything like their agents were like rebellious it's kind of like because like we kind
of like picked their personality yeah just that alone was just like funny that that was kind of
in the game all right second thing and then this doesn't require an answer from you because i want
you to actually check your mic source because i feel like it's not coming from the mic you have in front of you i feel like it's coming from a
webcam or something else but while you do that um and then yeah check that in video ninja and then
while you do that for tbk um i know you got to be excited for deception because not only you know
have we got some shroud teasers already but they have promised us more shroud pls or
something similar you know prime variance pls uh than they have in the past because the last
two expansions have not featured a single shroud pl so how do you feel about that i mean they've
been sleeping on the shroud art um are you gonna forgive them if they come through with the fire
let me say shroud probably has one of the most fire art in general but why we were slept on for
pls last set i don't know because i feel like before yeah yeah the set before like we had so
much you know like momentum with the pls where we have some fire art like why not give us a little
something you know what i mean but if we do have those fire pls like the one uh kalos revealed to us then you know all is forgiven but i do feel
like shroud has like the most creativity possible in like their their kind of card art there's so
many different like sneaky and shadows and singularity like so much room for PLs and PVs.
So I hope we get something nice coming up.

I mean, for me, again, my favorite art in parallel is probably from the Ogden Core Faction in terms of, you know, which one.
But a close second would probably be Shroud.
And at first, honestly, that was my least favorite coming into the game.
And then as you just
take a peek into it more because it's so dark like really you miss a lot of details in the parallel
i mean sorry in the shroud art at first because you just don't notice it you have to zoom in like
you have to get full art photos but then once once i looked at it and could appreciate all of
the details and the lore in the art.
Yeah, I mean, Shroud is definitely my either tied for favor or close second.
Yeah, I think that's why I love it so much, too, because like you said, you kind of have to pay attention to the art.
It's not like, hey, someone's shooting someone in this picture, like very clear.
You sometimes got to zoom in in the background and see what's actually going on.

switching the camera for whatever reason yeah marco and shroud as much as i hate it they do have
probably the best stars all right so kind of last thing on colony here before maybe we can get
you know started with you know diving into some of these sneak peeks.

so there's like a bar and then there's like a a cafe not a cafe uh like a like a um a diner or
like a dining facility um but like yeah but like my guy always ate at the bar so i don't know what
that says about my guy like he only wanted to eat at the bar like he never ate at like the actual like
cafeteria we have

I don't know if the monos I don't know if they're actually doing anything. They're just like potions

but like at the end of the test or the trial,
did the avatars die or like what what happened?

So I don't know because my colony made it.
So like I was in the colony with Goldie,
Dragon Spit, Orphan and Dave. So we had all of the lore guys in the colony with Goldie, Dragonspit, Orphan, and Dave.
So we had all the lore guys in the same colony by chance.

I saw Loot Goblins and I joined it and it just happened to be all the lore guys.
But like we were very like I set up a whole separate like group chat and we were like strategizing like what we're going to do.
So we had things like set up so like one of the big
events that happened was a storm so we had to prepare for a storm so like we had to like
literally craft or like get things get the colony ready so like i made um what did i make i made
like shock absorbers or antennas um right and then i think uh dragon spit made like force fields and then like someone else
made some battery packs but like we survived i think lamby and then some of the i think tilt
guys were on the same server but i think they were asleep during the event because the event
was like a three-hour period so like if you weren't actively doing stuff in the three-hour
period like you you weren't gonna make it because it took it took at least like an hour to like get all the stuff that you needed to get done.
But like, but we never we made it.
So like and then they let us like go on for a little longer.
So I'm not I'm not sure what happens to those that didn't make it because like when I was like we were still crafting stuff by by the end and then all of a sudden we just didn't have access to the server and we're just sad yeah
they just rugged you yeah we're not right to the singularity yeah in the singular yeah all right um
so we are going to get started here but i want you guys to help us out a little bit um share
share the stream in the discord on Twitter I feel like
people really need to to see you know that sneak peek of deception they deserve it y'all waited

yes sorry one more thing about colony yes be that it's absolutely correct it was a test so like not
everything we did or talk about was like probably going to be in the main game we had a very small sample size um but it still felt
endless and like i swear we only had like maybe 30 of the game to follow i feel like there are so
many more things we could do um but we just weren't able to do it yet. But even then, there wasn't very many roadblocks from what we were able to do.
So, again, it was a pre-alpha test, and it was amazing.
But, yeah, the game, if that's just part of the game, the full game is going to blow everyone's mind.

ever revealing it too okay i mean i mean i guess it kind of balances it out it would be fun to do
that as many times as you can but i guess that balances it out so what's pretty cool is like
obviously you have the four attack evasive with the potential battle battle ready but it only has
three health so i mean by the time four costs forecast comes along, you might just be insta-trading, right?
Because three health, it's not too sticky at three at that point in the game.
So, B-Vend is one of my favorite cards of the set.

think the unit charge two here really pulls it back down to earth but i don't really i don't
really know if the if the last part is needed though it's like an extra incentive for battle
ready if you attack this turn give another friendly unit plus two like that's where i feel
maybe they went a little bit overboard but also maybe they're tired of
hearing from iracer well i mean the i think the thing is is like it's a forecast right there's
like how many forecasts in earthen like earthen only like the joke is earthen starts to return
on turn three right so it's like three four and five that's all earthen has so like as much as i
wish this was a one cost card and every other earthen means wish it was a one cost card or like we had a better
one cost card i think you gotta give a little bit beef in this one just to like make it worth playing
like there's not many evasive cards in earthen and there's not many battle i don't think there's

um honestly i thought the shroud one was still not going to be believable, but I feel like people are already just used to Shroud being, I don't want to say busted, but it's like a nightmare.
It's like no matter what Shroud card comes out, they're just like, whatever, broken, OP, don't want to see it, don't want to hear it.

100%. It's hated so much that even if it feels busted you're gonna
think it's real yeah exactly you're just already in that mindset like yeah stupid card shouldn't
exist yeah this was a great time if anybody's curious like i saw some people asking about the
art yes the art is technically ai uh what i did was I used some cards as reference. So obviously Kamois Protector,
I had it changed around the composition of this, like the angle, the time of day, obviously,
and a couple of other stuff. And then this one, yes, Ashes to Ashes for the Shroud Legendary.
And then for this one, I used Recon from Alpha to be the reference image for this. And then for this one, I used recon from alpha to be the reference image for this.
And then, yeah, just with some a little bit of prompt engineering, was able to do this and then Photoshop to get it in the card frame.
And yeah, that's about it.
The functions, all that stuff was just us.
Also, too, like I thought to you, like, like literally like editing it or cropping it.
So like it has the legit like bottom
of the card like that i think people are like oh it's like i think if we just have like the picture
and like how we've done reveals in the past where it's like here's the name of it and here's like
the text like then i don't think it'd be as believable you literally had the pl right that's
amazing and then we had this freaking uh like the way that you had you fit it on the
card where you have the text at the bottom like that is like I think we started off we were going
to be so ridiculous where's the flavor oh yeah we could start off we started off yeah we we started
off being so ridiculous and then like throughout like the last two days we were just like like I
think you started designing it like too good and then it was like everything just was like well now
everything just seems believable like I don't see how like these cards might actually work
yeah so just again just wrapping stuff up here for the static stuff so I use the full card art
um and generated it with chat GPT 4-0 for those who are curious and then for the static stuff so i used the full card art um and generated it with chat gpt4o for those

then put it through crea ai because i ran out of credits for runway i would suggest runway especially
with their new model but crea is also killing it so i use crea ai just explained hey it's a black

first half obviously turning into a rose um let's see if I can play it here hold on um and then all
I did was put it in a video editing software where then I just reversed it and just made it smooth
and that's about it so good so good and then for the presentation i'm just literally using canva there's some stuff together
i feel like i'm emotionally tied to these cards now i want i want an mp print out of these yeah
no i feel you but i'm glad to know you know that the people i mean okay maybe we're not worthy of
obviously being on the the team design team but i'm i'm glad that they're a fan of most of the cards.
