Thank you for coming and thank you for Keith for your time.
How are you?
Hi, good morning.
Good morning.
Just getting organized, you know, getting the day started.
But I've been up for a little bit.
I get up too early.
You get up too early? Why?
Have you been so excited for this space?
Yeah, exactly. You stole the words out of my mouth.
But obviously, I just get up all the time really early.
I'm not sure why. It just happens.
But that's good.
Especially for this space, though.
That's good.
Lately, I've been also waking up after four and a half or five hours of sleep that's crazy i don't know why but um yeah it tells me
to start the day very early i like that yeah timo like you're you're a different animal you're never
sleeping it really seems like you i sleep a lot more than you. That's just a different animal. Yeah, you're just like, you're hardcore.
You're always, you're in here.
You're more active than me.
You're doing these spaces.
You're doing a lot of good stuff.
You're trading live.
It takes a lot of energy to go on live stream, for me at least.
It's like, I don't know how to interact.
I'm kind of antisocial sometimes in person.
So sometimes interacting with the stream and the spaces
the tweets the instagram the this the that it's a lot but uh no you're you're natural so you you
can't imagine how much energy that takes for me and like how many seconds it needs me to fall
asleep after those live streams and like how how awkward i sometimes feel during the streams when i know
like okay i have to entertain the people nobody's going to answer because this is a stream there's
not even a space this is crazy like after normally usually i end the stream and i write fall asleep
i started getting into shower and getting bed ready before those streams so i could just pass out
those streams so I can just pass out that's like super tired super done okay
but this is not about me I have prepared a tons of complicated questions for you
and I need your full focus now on answering that because your answers are
probably changing lives for people who are listening are you ready?
Sounds like a no. Not yet.
Do you have to hit the bomb before you answer?
Oh, no. Maybe I didn't... You didn't hear me. But no, I'm ready.
I got a blunt and I got a coffee and I'm in my office.
And I'm locked in. Locked in. Okay, okay. Okay. Okay. Let's start. Let's start. So
You're performing very successfully from what you've seen lately, right?
And now I have a question for you. Was it all planned exactly as it turned out right now or
Or did it unfold differently than expected?
Did unfold differently than expected?
No, I mean, this wasn't really a plan.
So back in 2019, I worked for a cannabis place, and I've been fighting.
So I'm not like an influencer turned fighter.
I've been a fighter since I was 18.
I had my first pro fight, so I'm more of a fighter turned influencer.
And it was like right before COVID hit, I worked at a weed distribution facility and I was like moving my ranks up there.
I was taking a little time off of fighting and then I just got more into crypto.
I just got more locked in, kind of studying about crypto.
I had a little extra time and then i got into dogecoin so
dogecoin is what really got me on crypto twitter and got me on here more and uh from dogecoin
i just started buying nfts and supporting people and i mean 2021 when nfts were really really
popping that was like a crazy time a lot of people know that that time a lot of people came in and are still here on Twitter from that same time but I think I bought my first crypto in like 2017 and it was
like Raven coin and I was all about all about that for a little bit and yeah I've gone through a lot
of phases with with my crypto and this whole. I see you've been super early.
When I heard first time about crypto, it was 2019 and I entered 2020.
And you were like, you started with 2017?
That's crazy.
So you have a few dinosaurs in your wallet.
Yeah, I really do have dinosaurs.
I got everything in my wallet.
I feel like I've collected so many things over the years.
And yeah, I've collected it all, for real.
Okay, nice, nice.
So you still have your first wallet?
Because I know so many people, they have lost their wallets.
They have lost their keys, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Yeah, I have an old phone.
And I also have an older computer. So I have the keys to it. So I have them on my old phone and i also have an older computer so i have the keys to it so i
have them on my old phone and an old computer so yeah i still have it because i still have like
some dogecoin on there i don't even remember how much but it's a good amount so i'm just
chilling on that but yeah i still i kept everything because like when i started noticing
it was like a weird thing because
when I got into crypto and I started and I was a professional athlete and I knew I could like
you know gain followers from that and also like make money here and there by people just giving
me things or people wanted me to talk on spaces or whatever and that's how I first started in the
beginning and I was like oh wow like
shit I could like make this like a little side fun hustle you know and I got viral a couple times
like tweeting Mike Tyson and I ended up going on Mike Tyson's podcast and I hung out with him all
day we smoked weed and it was like a really cool experience and it was all from Twitter it was all
from spaces and making tweets about Mike.
I used to be a little more crazy on my tweets.
There's a lot of different things that really got me locked in.
Once I noticed you can make some money, and I was a fighter.
Some of my fights, I got paid $1,000.
I go down, I do all these things, and then all of a sudden, I got to pay this. I got paid a thousand bucks and like I go down I do all these things and then all
of a sudden I got to pay this I got to pay that you got to pay a new commission you got to do
I don't know there was all these different fees so I'd end up getting paid like a thousand bucks
and I'm like this is crazy I'm like I'm like you know getting my eyes busted and I'm winning these
fights but I'm making like nothing so when I started
getting into crypto and here on Twitter and somebody offered me $100 to come on a space and
emote and I thought like a flip like a switch went off in my head I said well oh my god like I needed
I need to build myself up I need to learn more about crypto If someone's willing to pay me a hundred bucks to literally just emote, I don't even have to talk in some space
and uh, yeah, it was just crazy to me. So
I just really like double down on crypto because
it's kind of a stupid thing to say, but
I say it to my mom and my family
It's like i'm the golden goose and everyone could be their own golden goose.
It sounds funny, but like the golden goose can lay eggs. So it doesn't matter where you go or what you do.
You can produce your own income. You can lay your own eggs and they're golden eggs and you fucking so that that just depends on anything I'm doing.
anything I'm doing, I kind of like figured that out because I do have a good sales background.
I kind of like figured that out because I do have a good sales background.
I mean, I'm a real estate agent in California and I own some property in California. My mom's a
broker. And so I've been involved in business and stocks, but they were so boring to me growing up.
And, and even real estate, I like real estate. I've sold some houses. I've sold some hotels.
I've sold some businesses. I've, I've done some things in real estate but
it's also just boring and it's like watching paint dry and it's just like I just need more
like I just need it to be like I need to be passionate about it you know so I started getting
more passionate about crypto and then I just I went all in I'm gonna change my name to nft kid
I got it legally changed so it's still ko kid on all
my mma and all my fight stuff because that's what i started off as but i changed it on a lot of other
stuff so i just was like you know what nfts are like really community based nfts are something
that like a lot of things get real ruggy in crypto obviously there's a lot of like pump and dumps
there's a lot of people that come in with some big, fancy, cool project with this new technology that's going to change the fucking world.
And then they disappear in two months.
So I didn't want to do that.
So I was like, you know what?
I want to put myself in some, even though people do have a little bit of a bad connotation with nfts because they kind of um put that next to
different things but i think that that'll kind of change and then when i first started i was like
well the catchiest term is nfts so that's what i'm going to go with i want to just change it to nft
kid instead of ko kid it's going to be nft kid and it's not co kid it's ko because it stands for
knockout people are like why is your name kokid i was like it's
ko only girls say that so just so you know all guys know that a ko kid means ko i would have
and then girls always say that other way i would have known just saying you would have known you
wouldn't know you didn't make the mistake i'm not talking about you but just saying in general but yeah i love the i love the story i didn't know that
and um i i think it also takes a specific kind of mindset to go that way especially when you
come from such a background and um i just really love the answer thank you for sharing
so um okay how how do you think you came to that mindset?
How do you make sure you are a winner also outside of the ring across your whole life?
I like this guy, Jim Rome.
And he always says, like, everything, every decision that you make affects everything else.
So, like, everything you're doing affects everything else so like everything you're doing
affects everything that you're going to be doing tomorrow all your future decisions your past
decisions so I kind of really started looking at what I was doing in my life and I've had bouts
like it's kind of hard because as a fighter I have an addictive personality so I go into these bouts
where I'm really really strict and uh you know I'm going I'm training these bouts where I'm really, really strict and, uh, you know, I'm
going, I'm training for a fight and I'm just really clean. I'm eating clean. I'm doing everything
right. And then like for probably like a week after the fight, I'll eat bad. I'll drink a little
bit. Maybe I'll go out, you know, do some things I wouldn't normally do. So it's kind of like a
crash diet. So I started cutting that out. I started just keeping it down
to like a day or two, if I'm really going to celebrate. And a lot of these times I just didn't
celebrate. I just, I celebrated, but I didn't like go overboard and eating really bad and drinking
or doing these other things. So, um, I just noticed that that really helped me a lot. So
started reading more. My family's really into reading. My mom, my sister, they read so much.
My grandma and like all the women in my family, they're just always reading books and all this.
I was never into reading.
I know how to read because, you know, I'm just, I was taught over here.
But so I just got into it more.
I started reading books that like more self-improvement books, books about like things that affected me, me specifically,
you know, things I needed to fix and more just about self-control with, with different things
with eating and just different, um, vices, you know, even smoking, not, not smoking as much
smoking at certain times. I still smoke every day, but it just affects me differently. Sometimes
if I smoke too heavy in the morning before training versus if I don't.
So I just kind of, I just locked down a lot of different things over the last couple of years.
But I need to get back to reading more.
So even just talking about this, like reading books that interest you that maybe could help you or even that you're just interested in, it makes your mind just work better.
You know, you could talk better.
You could do a lot of things better just from reading. You don't think about it, but it's just like working out for your
mind because like our, we're on our phone so much and there's just so many things that we're just
not actually spending like 20 or 30 minutes just to like read and actually intake some new
information and not like I used to date this girl and she's like, yeah, I've been reading all these
books. I was like, yeah, fuck yeah. That's awesome. And I's like, yeah, I've been reading all these books.
I was like, yeah, fuck yeah. That's awesome. And I was like, well, what books? And we started
talking and she's like, yeah, I read it. It was quick. It was like an hour. I was like,
you read the book in an hour. Are you serious? She's like, yeah. And then she's like, yeah,
it was the best audio book. I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa. Audio book. No, no, no. You got to
actually get in there and get out a real book, open it up and then read.
And with your actual mind there, not listen to it in the car. So, but there are different types of learning, I guess for sure. But I would say reading actually in a book is, has been something
good. And I've, I've read a lot of books, guys with Grant Cardone. I know, I know, you know,
Grant Cardone, I read books with him because I was really into real estate, the rich dad,
poor dad. So I'd read all these real estate books because that's what I was doing
at the time when I was first getting into crypto in like 2017. And then I started,
I have crypto books now. I have some fighting books about Sun Tzu and The Art of War,
which I think is a great book that actually applies to like things in your real life as well.
that actually applies to like things in your real life as well. You could apply that to,
um, even if you're just like, you know, you work at sales at the BMW dealership, you could apply
certain aspects of Sun Zero. You know, it's just about, you could like turn it into your own mind
and your own structure. So everything could be tailored to you, you know, and especially all
these situations, but a lot of books and things that I read after,
like Jocko Willink, he's like a Marine, like a bit in Iraq, like four or five tours. And he's just like a really influential kind of guy, really just like a man's man kind of guy. So I read books
about him. And then I'll read books with like Elon Musk and different like quantum physicists you
know I try to get different looks from different people and kind of see what I vibe with because
sometimes sometimes you'll you'll hear something that you're like wow this quantum physicist
thinks the same way I do about certain things or the same thing with the Jocko Willink the guy
that's like was the head of the marines and did all these crazy iraq tours i have
similarities with him and and different things but um yeah it's a wide variety of different things you
know i really like the answer like a lot because i do the same and we have also did read the same
books uh think and grow rich and um the one that you mentioned before i forgot what it was
but i i i had to laugh so much when you told the story with the audiobook like she said she was
reading a book that you can just listen to it's super funny um and uh from the question before
from from the answer before did you say you have smoked some weed with mike tyson did i did i hear
that correctly?
Yeah, yeah, from Tony.
I know you know our, I don't know.
Yeah, you know Tony with Doodle Junk.
So I was on his space, and we were talking to his, Mike Tyson's manager,
and they invited me.
They're like, oh, yeah.
I think I was maybe bragging about how I had this viral tweet with Mike Tyson and, and Dogecoin. And I
was like trying to show them the guy's name was Frenchie. So I was like, yeah, Frenchie check out,
you know, I had this viral tweet with Mike Tyson, you know, so he managed Mike and I was,
you know, just trying to like rub, rub shoulders with him, I guess, and, you know, find some common
ground. And then, uh, me and him kind of ended up being friends. And then he's like, yeah,
you want to come meet Mike?
And I was like, is this guy for real?
Like, you know, it was one of the first times I was like meeting somebody big from Twitter. So I was like, okay, I don't know.
I'm not going to get my, like my, my hopes high, you know?
And when I thought, I thought I was going to show up and I was going to be like in a
room watching the podcast, you know what I mean?
Like behind glass and maybe there's some other people in there.
Maybe there's some snacks.
I was like, okay, I could eat some snacks and watch Mike Tyson
and take some pictures and be there for a little bit.
So me and my buddy showed up, and there was no security.
It was in Malibu in L.A.
We just show up, and they're like, no security, nothing.
It was one podcast room, and we just show up and they're like no security nothing it was one podcast room
and we go in we just like meet Mike it was weird because like no one was like
oh there was like oh like here's Mike there's just like oh there he is and he like looks at me and
we kind of like not that I recognize each other but he knew I was coming so he's like hey how's
it going like you've had some fights you're a a fighter. Oh, cool. And you like weed. That's, that's awesome. Uh, he just asked me some small questions. I really don't remember. I like saw red because Mike Tyson's like such a big, uh, he's like my idol growing up. You know, I watched so many of his videos and, uh, I just love Mike Tyson. He's just like, he's a cultural icon and I'm just like in awe with him as a person.
He's done so much.
And yeah, I could just go so much into it.
I know a lot about his life, but it was so cool.
I mean, he had a blunt roller.
So some guy just rolled blunts all day and gave us blunts and we smoked blunts.
And so what he did is he had like 10 episodes in a row.
So he filmed like eight podcasts, like in a podcast in a row
so he filmed like eight in a row so i watched all these different like celebrities and like rappers
come in and um what was one of the rappers they had this this newer rapper in i forgot his name
i mean they had the undertaker they had sidric the entertain. They had Tony Hawk. Uh, they had a couple of football
players, uh, NFL football players. And, uh, I don't know. It was just a wild day. It was a wild
day. And it was all from web three, just being on a space. And I got invited to go meet them. So,
um, I think how many years ago was that? It was like two or three years ago. No,
it was like two years ago. Yeah. It was like 2023. Yeah, it was when it was like a bear market too.
So things were kind of down.
And a lot of people come in and out of crypto.
Because I get it.
It's one of those things.
And it's kind of like high intensity sometimes with like, the charts are up.
The charts are down.
Like, it's very emotional.
And that's what all this stuff is about.
Like trading and even all the futures.
It's a lot of played on emotion. You know, how the people are going to react emotionally to certain things, news that's going on in the world.
And there's a lot of people that know news before we all know news.
So, yeah, there's a lot going on.
So I get it.
I get it how people are in and out.
But since I got on Twitter since like 2017, 2018, I haven't got off.
I've really been locked in and usually here every day if I haven't taken a day off here and there over the years for sure.
But yeah, I've been here a lot.
So it's been a grind.
You know, this is the first time I'm actually like really jealous about someone meeting
a celebrity usually like always people told me like oh i met this person like this musician
this and that person like this is the first time i say okay i really want to do this too like i'm
i i really wish i was there with you this is crazy um sounds uh super super no it was it was so fun i had my friend with me and he was like a
big fan of mike tyson too but he kind of dresses kind of like metro sexually he dresses he's a
stylist from la so everyone always thinks he's gay but he has like a different personality he's
a really cool guy his name is sean and uh so i was with my friend sean and he kept looking at mike in this
and like making eye contact with him and mike was giving him dirty looks and then he starts telling
me he goes hey mike keeps looking at me i go bro don't fuck this up for me dude like don't look at
mike don't be weird i because i could just see him looking at mike for too long being weird and then
mike just being like dude get out who are you who even are you get out of here because there's like no security nothing it was his wife i mean his whole family
i mean not his whole family his wife his brother and then that was it like i think he had one of
his kids there too and then they kept filming the podcast i mean then mike's talking about
getting blowjobs and cadillacs in the in the 1990s and his wife is right there.
And I'm like, whoa, they have a close relationship.
I guess it was a long time ago
and they're on a podcast, but I was like,
whoa, this is crazy. She didn't even bat an eye.
She didn't even care. And they're talking about
this whole blowjob scene
for like 20 minutes. And I'm just
high backstage watching
this happen. It was
wild. It was wild.
This is wild.
If you told me this earlier, I would never believe he is like this.
I've been watching Mike.
I've been watching his fights since I'm three years old.
My dad was so much into boxing.
And Henry Musk, Mike Tyson, I know all these big names.
And I would have never, like, if I would tell my dad what you just told me,
he would not believe me at all.
Not at all.
But yeah, good to know.
Okay, I have a question for you.
This is not about Mike Tyson, this is about you.
So, if you had to quiz one thing, right?
Fighting or crypto, which one would you struggle more to walk away from
I would probably walk away from fighting because it would it would be a struggle for sure because
you're gonna miss it but I'm at the end of my career now I'm like I'm gonna be turning 37 I
mean I got a couple more years I like coaching a lot so I think I'm really the end of my career now. I'm like, I'm going to be turning 37. I mean, I got a couple more years.
I like coaching a lot.
So I think I'm really going to coach more and I'll still work out and train
with the guys,
but not like the whole competitive,
like always have to be like so ready for fights.
And so just like,
I don't know.
I want a little time where I could just not think about fighting.
but I'm not there yet.
I am real motivated, motivated to fighting. So, but I'm not there yet. I I'm real motivated,
motivated to fight. So I think that's, I think I would just lock more into crypto and then I'd be
a coach and I'd still train a lot, but it would, uh, yeah, I was just, I, I want to be into crypto
with, with a collection. Like I do have a collection coming out. So something like that,
that I'm still sticking around with my community and we're doing fun stuff and events so that would be that would be cool that'd be cool
but um yeah yeah so i think it would be hard to walk about fighting but that's the one i would
walk away from but it would be harder to walk away from crypto i think actually that was the question
but uh yeah that would be harder because it's always here. And I'm like, you don't even have to retire ever from crypto.
You could do this shit to your 80, you know?
And you could learn about different things.
You could just be involved in the communities and just see what new things come out and kind of make money off the new meta.
Because every new meta that comes out, there's always money to be made, you know?
You could always make some money and then still reinvest back in because things always start off high and they always dip and
then they kind of re-evaluate and they could pump back up again that's why you can reinvest you
know whatever it is i'm second about nfts a type of crypto like whatever whatever you are you know
kind of assets you're investing in here on crypto crypto twitter i did
not expect this answer but good to know and i think yeah i i kind of like it because like it
shows that you're always open for something new and that we're evolving and that we want to try
out new things and that the career is evolving you know i also had a question before but you kind
of answered that already with one of your other answers um i wanted to know if you have like a
strict plan or if you also let situations decide where you're going but i think you already have
answered that by saying uh that this what you're doing right now was not planned exactly as it is
right now, but that it developed into this way.
Well, I do think, cause I'm like, well, look, I do like real estate.
I'm not saying that real estate is not something I not want to do.
So especially with like RWAs and how, you know, real estate isn't getting involved with blockchain and how they're they could let you use the proof of funds for your Bitcoin to approve you to get a mortgage.
I mean, that's huge. So me having some expertise in crypto and Bitcoin and holding Bitcoin myself, I could definitely get new clients and stuff and say, hey, look, we're crypto friendly over here at our brokerage or whatever real estate firm I'm working with.
So I could always use that.
So I've already been thinking about that.
But I want to invest a little on my own before I start trying to get clients like locally.
And, yeah, there's just a lot of things in real estate that you don't have to do.
Yeah, there's just a lot of things in real estate that you don't have to do.
You don't even need money for.
You could buy notes off people and you could use private investor money and you don't even need to raise the money.
There's different, you know, they're not called DAOs, but I guess they would be similar to DAOs in real life.
But there's different like private money groups that you can apply to that are with like the MLS, which is like multi-service listing.
So it's like a listing service for all the real estate. So you could see like all the houses, what's for sale and all the
information. So yeah, there's definitely a lot of ways to incorporate crypto into real estate now
with America being so like pro crypto and them trying to be like the crypto capital of the world.
pro-crypto and them trying to be like the crypto capital of the world so yeah I think it's it's
another part of my plan in the next couple years because you can't fight forever I love fighting
so much it's so fun and I love to compete and it's all really good for you you know like for
me as a person I'm just like that's always been my thing I just like to fight I'm just like to
even if I get my fucking ass beat and then there's so much to learn
from it and what I did wrong.
And, you know, maybe I just wasn't as I've never taken a fight that I didn't think I
was going to win, you know?
So whatever fight I do lose, I have to like really think about like what I did wrong and
I got to think about it from a lot of different perspectives.
So yeah. Yeah. It from a lot of different perspectives so yeah yeah it's a lot
interesting you have done so many things
what's the lesson in your opinion that you think 99% of the people in business would never
understand that you have made this experience because you're doing so many different things and you had the priority to learn from many different fields I say maybe
one of the biggest lessons especially in business it kind of applies to other
things as well is don't rush things because I've been involved in a lot of deals that I just want it to happen fast. That's another
reason that it was hard for me to really get into real estate because it takes time. It takes like,
you know, 30 to 45 days or longer if you're doing like a commercial deal. So I think I've really
been trying to apply that to everything I'm doing now. Don't rush.
It's quality over quantity and a lot of things.
So, yeah, that's what I've been really focusing on.
And that applies to a lot of business things because there's deals that I tried to rush and this happened and that happened.
And, you know, I end up not even getting what I wanted and sometimes almost losing the deal.
So, and that's real stressful as well.
So, yeah, I think just you should take your time.
And I'm not saying take your time like dilly-dally around and like bullshit,
but I'm saying don't rush as in forget things and make mistakes.
It's more like you're definitely fully aware,
but you're watching before you throw the first punch.
You're not just putting your head out there
and throwing a bunch of punches.
I like this one.
That's my fight analogy.
I like this one.
I have made the same experience in trading.
And whenever I'm more calm and more observant and I make my decisions more clear,
that's when I make more money.
And whenever I try to rush into a trade, it was probably most of the time losing trade.
So I like this.
It's so easy to say and it's hard to do do but it's something you got to think about a lot because
there's so much going on and i'm sure you're busy of a thousand things that you're doing maybe not
maybe not a thousand but we all have a lot of things we're doing and we're trying to accomplish
and especially if you're like a go-getter so it's it could be a little uh i guess not
counterproductive but it's just it's almost like it's the counter of everything because you're like, don't rush.
But we want to get a lot done.
We want it to be quality.
But it's one of those things when you're trying to hustle and get a lot done.
But you just have to keep a balance.
Keep a balance.
Emotions also play a big role probably right in in anything that we do especially in crypto i
think in crypto and in fighting also right those are both both hype driven fields and
fields where like money is involved or a reputation is involved i don't know if that
was a part for you too but i think emotions play a big role in that
too. I mean, patience isn't emotion, right? Yeah. Yeah. No, right. When you said that,
you're reminding me of a book, the four agreements. And the second agreement is don't
take anything personally. And I'm Italian and Irish. And like, I think I have some Native American in me too.
And my grandma's actually Hawaiian and Filipino too. So I do have like nice cultures in my blood
too. But I feel like the Italian and Irish, I have like a temper sometimes. And then also,
sometimes I take things personally that I shouldn't, you know? So that's something that
in business and all, even here, all, especially here, I shouldn't, you know, so that's something that in business and all even here all especially here.
I don't really take anything personal on Twitter, but more maybe like maybe somebody that knows me in real life or some bullshit like fight take or something and you take it personal.
But I think taking things personal is like the biggest way to like fuck a lot of things up because so many people
have a lot of things going on and a lot of times they say things or do things because of how they're
feeling and what they're doing inside and it's not really about you but you're just like the
the character that's in front of them they're not always thinking about you as as a person and
you know whatever feelings if they're nice or not you know so i'm always like you know what i'm just
that's one of my biggest rules don't be be emotional, but don't take anything personal.
That's like more specific to me. So don't just don't, don't be a bitch. Don't take it personal.
Everyone has opinions and everyone has thoughts about things. And, you know, people change their
thoughts and opinions with, you know, circumstances and with what you're doing or what you're doing
in your life. So things just change.
So I try to just really not take anything personally,
no matter what,
and move on,
especially in business,
business relationships,
because I am like a nice guy.
I try to like befriend people and try to be cool with people.
I'm real friendly with people and I,
I become friends with a lot of people I do business with.
it's lagging.
I have to take a loop.
Are you there?
I got coffee. I'm talking well. Hey, are you here?
I didn't hear the last 20 seconds.
I don't even know where I left off.
I just like, it's like a whole train wreck in my head.
It's okay.
We're talking about emotions.
And I totally agree with your answer 100%.
No, I was just saying with the book, The Four Agreements,
don't take anything personally.
I think it's not good to be emotional, especially in business,
you know, business ventures, business relationships.
Because I like to be friends with everyone, but, you know,
you can still be friends with everyone but you know you you can
still be friends with everyone but you have to be like professional and business sensed when things
are happening it's not like oh i can't believe this or that no no no it just is what it is we're
working through it and um you know got a compromise in business as well sometimes too
i like that i mean um that that's it, that's a great learning that you just described. And I had to
learn that also like very late. I had to struggle with taking things personally. But I think it
decreased a lot when I did read books about psychology. I think that helps a lot. Like,
about psychology I think that helps a lot like if you learn about psychology in my opinion that
fixes everything it fixes you it fixes the way you talk to people who are talking to you it fixes
the way how you see other people like you can you can just see through so many things you're getting
better in sales there are so many benefits just about learning Bob psychology,
I think is one of the most important things to learn in life.
No, I agree.
I'd agree with that because I've read a lot of different psychology books.
Even, I don't know if you've read this book,
it's called The Marshmallow Test because it'll talk about, like,
different things that happen to you in your life.
And basically, you're very impressionable and very malleable when you're seven and below.
So they do these tests with these kids and they see they could predict from this marshmallow test if they want the marshmallow now or if they wait 10 minutes they could have two marshmallows so i'm kind of simplifying it but they call it the marshmallow test and then
they study the kids like which one takes it which one doesn't and um they're in like this room by
themselves and they'll see if they lie about it they'll like all the tendencies from these kids
and they could do a lot of background and like predict where they're at like 20 years from now. So I thought that was really interesting. And yeah, there's a lot of
psychology books. I think that's a life hack. I think that's what a lot of people should look into
is a psychology books and like Sun Tzu. I mean, that's a war psychology book for your life.
So it's, um, it's very helpful, I think. But, and then even I love
Buddhists, the Buddhist type of books, cause I'm really into Buddhism. And, uh, so I go all over
the place. I try to cover some areas, but I'm actually things I'm, I'm fascinated about things.
I'm really like interest me and keep me me intrigued and locked in these books.
Oh, my God.
My dog just screamed at me.
We heard it.
Yeah, interesting.
Okay, I could talk for a few hours about books, but I don't know how much time you have.
So I would just say move on.
But you can send me the books that you were just talking about
please yeah no worries yeah for sure i'll send you the the cool psychology books i have
we could trade some books and we'll look them up and now you mentioned you have read books about
buddhism i think i didn't expect that and i think it's crazy but if you did maybe you also want to
read um the quran because i have realized that everything that has been mentioned in there
is things that people are trying to teach us right now through social media.
Like the right things to eat, the right things to behave,
the right movements to do and stuff.
Like everything that is written in there as we should do it is something
that um people are teaching us right now on social media about um about psychological health
and about um physical health so um there were a lot of connections and i think that's very
interesting just if you want if you don't then don't I mean, who am I? I can't control it.
But I have another question for you.
So do you think that pain is a necessary currency for growth?
Or do you think you can grow without suffering?
No, that's an easy question. It necessary for sure pain is necessary pain in all different
types of ways is necessary for whatever you're going through because just like anything hard
it's not going to be easy it's never easy if like i used to think that as a kid too
i i was so gullible like i was on ebay one time i think i was like 10 or 11 and i saw
this like toyota supra and it looks so nice and just so souped up and i like i was trying to send
this guy three thousand dollars for this like car that was probably worth over a hundred thousand
dollars and then i just realized like you can't you can't trust everyone it's like what am I doing like yeah you can't be like that so yeah
yeah it's a lot there's a lot happening I agree 100% I have mentored many people
students and I also realized the ones that came the most far, they were the ones that
had the worst pain, and the ones that were comfortable were the ones that didn't have
enough motivation to do something, and now when I see someone, and I see that they're not at the
spot where they want to be, but they are still not doing enough to be out of the
place you just know they're still too comfortable but you you they're still doing too well something
something even worse has to happen to them until they are going to learn until they're changing
something and i really wish this to no one but life will give you those lessons it will give
you that pain until you learn.
It will get stronger and stronger and stronger until you learn.
The pain should be focused, though.
It should be so say you're a young fighter and you're 18 years old
and you're going through the pain of all the training and all the discipline.
It's basically like army because you're training two times pain of all the training and all the discipline and it's basically
like army because you're training two times a day you're doing classes maybe you're teaching as well
because you're so heavily immersed so it's all the pain of that and discipline to not maybe go
out with your friends because they're partying they're really young you know you're 18 or 19
so there's all these like pains of things that you think you're missing out. It's like emotional pain mixed with physical pain. But then at a certain point, if you're super dedicated and
you're this person, maybe you become 10 and 0 and the champion and now you're making millions of
dollars and you're this phenom or something. That's like a perfect picture, right? And it
could happen with a business person too. So say a business person, they're really passionate about mortgages or something,
selling mortgages because they saw some movie about Boiler Room
and they're really pumped about it.
So there's that side of it too.
So you have to go through all the pain of long hours
and putting in the extra paperwork and maybe being more clever,
making more calls.
It goes both ways. With anything
that you're doing, you got to put in a lot of work and there's a lot of pain. I'm sure Elon
Musk, I mean, he's such an easy guy to use as a reference, but some guys like this that are so
successful have these billions of dollars and built these companies. They're doing a lot.
They're going through a lot of pain to get where they want to go. But some people
are going through tons of pain and they're not even doing what they want to do. That's like hell.
That's like the worst thing you could be doing is doing some nine to five and hardly making enough
money to pay your bills. Maybe you have a house, but you're hardly making enough to make your
mortgage. You're just skating by every month and And you're basically a slave to this job.
So something like that, that is the type of pain.
And you don't have enough spite and strength in yourself to make it maybe more painful.
Quit and be unemployed for a month or two.
You find something you're really passionate about and maybe go into a little debt.
And then come back harder than ever. It's easier for me to think about it because I feel like I
do have that like gambler fucking DGN kind of mentality and just like, I'll put it all on black
and let's just ride it out if we don't want to start all over. So I have that mentality. So it's
easier, I think for me mentally, but some people don't have that. And they have this bland.
They have no motivation.
They're a follower.
They might have a good job.
They're getting paid good money, but they're paying a ton of bills.
Everyone takes advantage of them.
And they're going through a ton of pain, and they're not getting anywhere.
So that would be the worst pain.
I think the best pain is pain from something that you're passionate about, that you're working towards.
You're going to what? the worst pain i think the best pain is pain from something that you're passionate about that you're working towards you're gonna you're gonna what oh i think i think you have to take a nap sorry oh no you're back you're back you're good
where did i mix up i don't know i must have hit the mute button on accident
yeah i thought x is uh ragging it in but it's not
no it was just me i think i just hit the mute button on accident
but yeah i was just going on some rant about pain no worries next question
i was i was locked in until you hit the mute
button. I was like, Oh wait, is it ragging? Um, okay. What's the, what's the hardest thing to
let go of when you start leveling up? Is it people habits, identity? What do you think?
what do you think?
I'm trying to get my dog outside.
He's not listening.
All right.
Forgetting you, Doji.
All right.
What's the hardest point about leveling up?
I would say probably just like just getting distracted,
distracted by, you know, outside parties or outside things and just whatever your goals are and whatever you're trying to stay locked in with
like with your health with your your whole your whole life if you're disrupting that and doing
something that i think is like for me it's like partying or going out or drinking.
So I would say those are things like you're making tons of money.
I think when you're leveling up,
there's a lot of opportunities to party and do this and do that.
And when I used to live in LA,
I mean, there was a lot of opportunities to party
and do all these crazy things.
And yeah, it was just too wild.
So I can't imagine just being like a movie star in LA
you're just getting just thrown
into all these parties and all these
different things so I feel like that would be hard
but if you could be dedicated
and focused I think it helps if you have a
good partner behind you you have a good woman
or you have a good man and
it helps because you guys will help each other
through it and
yeah it helps.
It definitely helps.
A hundred percent.
Are you still struggling with going or wanting to go to all the parties?
Is that a thing from the past?
No, I mean, I still think about things. I'm like, oh, that'd be cool to do this or do that.
But yeah, it's dwindled. I think after
this next fight, I'm going to be fighting in Singapore. There's like an F1 race and
there's a lot going on. I'm definitely going to probably at least drink one night after
the fight because I haven't drank in a couple months now. So I think it'll be
fun just to have a night. But yeah, I still think about it.
So those are
things that can kind of get you distracted but not really though because it's it's in like a month
and I'm fully focused on what I'm doing with the training and then yeah I think it would be fun but
I would say if I'm making hundreds of millions of dollars and I'm flying all over the world
and I would be training for like a big fight and misfits or something then that would be distracting if i was getting invited to
these parties in abiza i did get invited to a lot of random parties earlier this year that i did
turn down so and i've been i've been pretty disciplined this year i've been doing good
to always get better good to hear congratulations yeah thank you thank you
you're welcome so um have you ever had to break your own belief system
in order to grow into your next version like did you have to rebuild yourself completely
um i think it's like something that kind of happens gradually with what you're doing
so yeah I would say like at different points in my life I just started doing things it's always
because I'm I just realized I'm like all right I'm just I'm just going against the current against
my own self here like I'm I'm hurting myself you know so I'm it's like I'm a little bit like
standing on one spot and digging a hole versus like going forward so i've noticed that in certain times just trying to be more self-aware
and honest with myself you could lie to everyone you could do whatever you want everyone does
anyway but you can't lie to yourself because if you start lying to yourself it your whole
your whole your whole everything gets fucked up so i try to be honest with myself
and try to like carry myself a certain way and uh yeah yeah just to like be i guess because i don't
have any kids or anything but i do want to like represent my family in a good way and i want to
be a good person to people because just naturally how I am I think people have a natural tendency of how they are naturally and some people are naturally fucking
evil some people naturally want to see you suffer you know some people naturally want to help you
and naturally want to be generous but it's it it's hard because if you're like a natural person
wants to help everyone and be generous then you're easily taken advantage of as well.
And my mom is like that.
She's like so sweet and so nice.
But she's had these friends over her life.
And she's made a lot of money.
And she always is real successful.
But she's always had these fucking loser friends that come in that they need money.
All of a sudden they have some big plan how they're going to change their life.
And they just need 10 grand. And then it's ruined a lot of the relationships that she's had
so another thing i would say is when you start becoming successful and people ask you for
handouts and they just put their money or their handout for money i would say just say fuck you
and don't ignore people because it kind of shows their true colors because a lot of people that i
don't even know and haven't ever interacted with from high school have done that to me randomly like asked me for money
or asked me for some type of big favor or this or that and it's like what the hell i was like
no man i just act like i'm poor like nah man i'm struggling too bro i'm just like nah bro can't
afford it can't anyone could say they can't afford anyone.
Bill Gates could be like, nah, I can't afford it. It's like, you just can't afford it for your own
conscious. It's not like you can't afford it financially, but I can't afford it because I'll
just think about it too much and I'll be pissed that you didn't earn it and you don't deserve it.
So can't afford it. I see. I see. Yeah. I, I, I had to learn that also the heart rate last bull run I just like gave away so
much money and borrowed it to friends and they had so many nice business ideas that was going
to make so much money and somehow none of this came back because of so many different reasons.
So I totally get what you're talking about here.
Do you have a routine that blends your sports with the crypto energy that you're bringing?
Do I have... I mean, not really.
I mean, it's all kind of connected.
I feel like a lot of people on crypto Twitter, they like fighting as well.
So it's not like they're totally synonymous, but I feel like they do go together.
But I train every day, and I do crypto every day so that's just all I
do and I kind of structure things some days I go harder on crypto some days I
go harder on my training and it's kind of like a balance as well you know I'm
putting my shoes on my boxing shoes because I'm gonna go train in like five minutes but
yeah I yeah I keep a balance did you say you have to go train in five minutes
yeah that was my way of telling you I gotta leave in five minutes sorry I have
I have ten more questions but maybe we can do it another day. I also have an important
online meeting in around 30 minutes.
So it's a good time.
Yeah, yeah, no worries.
But thank you for taking the time of your day to do this.
It's fun to actually talk long form
and kind of talk to the people a little bit.
Thank you. I really enjoyed this interview and thank you for your time we should do this again yeah of
course anytime I want I want to be more good some more to your trading talks as
well and learn some more about what you're doing I just been I just been
busy you know there's a lot going on but Look we both have our BC game badge. So we're both with BC game, which is pretty cool
It is cool, but where's your page? I don't see it. Oh, I see it on my screen. I
Don't know you don't shit. I got a badge. That's there. I
Think you gotta refer I see oh no, I see it now. I see it. Oh, now I see it. Now I see it.
I swear it was gone.
Let me know when you're free for trading.
When's your next trading?
I will send me an invite. Let's DM me because I'm out of all my group chats now. I'm getting all like prepared. I'm getting organized. But I always see your DMs. So I'll definitely I'll come in and hang out. Share the room.
Okay. Nice. Cool.
Then I wish you good training and see you tomorrow.
Yes, thank you, Tima.
Thanks for everything.
I appreciate you.
Good afternoon.
Good morning to everyone.

Thank you too.
And thank you for coming to everyone.
