It's been great. No plumbers yet. Still got the stench of unfun water in an apartment

Had some really bad financial advice about seven years ago
process of buying out another company so in order to
Increase my company. I was going to buy another company out
and you know replace their aging fleet take on their

But I had bad financial advice the owner of the other company
Was very flippant and undersized sieve on you know
It was a long drawn-out process. But during the process I was buying extra vehicles in order to replace
ended up getting stuck and
Due to the bad financial advice. I was receiving and obviously bad decisions that were being made
You know following on from that. I ended up personally going bankrupt six years ago and
When was it it was it was 2017 so I basically went bankrupt
Is when I decided to finally a pin to
To blockchain I finally pulled the trigger my fuck. I've been watching this for a couple of years and I've done nothing and
You know business. I mean business was booming for us. We were we were still turning over like half a million year
Had a massive client base everything was great
but the the back-end financials of having to pay for so many extra cars and
They're not having any work and that building up over such a long period of time
Just got to a point where I just had to go bankrupt so I could give the cars back to the the finance companies
They'd sell them off and then you know, obviously
Liquid I'd have to do what he has to do
Was three years ago, so after three years of being bankrupt, I was discharged from bankruptcy
However, because I'd never been bankrupt before
It turned out the liquidator who
Take you know my my share of whatever I owned at the time
as part of the the trustee
He put a cave it on my house my family home
for the last three years been battling to save our family home and
Actually received a letter from the trustee. So this is two years after I was discharged bankrupt
Which just blows my mind that this can even happen that's even allowed within the laws
But anyway, a lot of lessons have been learned
Mid February so, you know getting close to a year ago. I actually received a letter from the trustee
Saying that he wanted a hundred and fifty thousand dollars
Or he was going to sell my family home in order to you know, realize that money
because he thought that was
Fair and what was my share of equity within within our family home
So I then spent months of you know
Trying to you know work out could this guy actually do this?
Went all the way to I think it's
Apra or Afra the Australian body that looks after
Financials and bankruptcies and that sort of stuff
And in the end, they basically told me that he was well within his rights to do this
But the funny thing is and it's not funny, but you know, not ha ha funny, but the funny thing is
During the bankruptcy he sent us a letter saying, you know, if we paid him a couple of thousand dollars
The whatever back end would be finalized and you know, we we just fucking lost
Everything was flipped on its head and had to increase our subcontractor numbers. And so, you know profits
In regards to percentages and the whole business structure just fucking got flip right?
And so I didn't think anything of it
But I didn't pay him the couple of grand that was asking for initially
I just assumed we could pay that at some point turns out that over time
They can just sit on that
Hold that they have on your personal belongings
For as long as they like potentially up to ten years in Australia before they actually turn around go, okay
We want you know, we want to finalize this now. So anyway
From the time of bankruptcy to then last February
He decided that that couple of thousand dollars of that few thousand dollars
He was asking had increased to one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
So I was me and my wife, you know young family two kids
Stay alive and do the usual and build this fucking amazing ecosystem and help reward the people
On the back end while while I've been doing all of that. I've actually been fighting to save our family home
So it hasn't been sold, you know from underneath us and left us homeless
And it was getting to the point where we're actually thinking because we have a truck
Which is I call it the race our racetrack, but it's our it's our
Toy hauler so to speak or our cart hauler
That we use to take our racing carts to and from tracks around Australia
We haven't used it for over a year my kids haven't raced I've spent virtually every dollar I've had on building horror
Their life has been put on hold
But we still have all that equipment sitting in storage and it was at the point where mid last year
You know after months of trying to work out was this even legal what he was doing?
And coming to the realize that realization that it actually was
We got to the point where we're starting to think fuck we may have to actually the four of us may have to live
In the truck and just park it
Caravan park or on the side of a road or next to the beach or something can just you know
Get fuel and fuel the generator and live live out of the truck
if they you know actually sold our family home, so
You know this is I guess there's a bit of backstory into me
I'm always polite and professional and try to be fun and loving and giving and caring
You know creating this amazing thing for the industry to help change and become a more professional positive place to be
But on the back end I've had some really fucking
serious struggles to work with and as a human or individuals we all have our
Mid last year got to the realization point he could do this so then from that point
I then had to start negotiating with this guy
to go well, I don't think you know hundred and fifty thousand is
Realistic or necessary or whatever
After a couple of months of debating we ended up having to agree to pay him a hundred thousand Australian dollars in order to
Know like I said all of the funds that I've had that I've made from
I've just been pushing into aura so no funds from
Anything that I've done since
2017 since joining into you know blockchain has gone towards this
Bankruptcy or trying to save the house. It's just that's separate. You know that's my personal life and
Blockchain is my professional life
We we after agreeing to you know this hundred thousand dollars to save up our home
We then had to try and find a
Bank or a lender that would actually refinance our home so that we could then borrow
That hundred thousand dollars on top of our current mortgage of our home in order to pay this
I've you know use plenty of choice words for him over this time frame
So that you know we actually get control of our family home again
And it can't be threatened to be sold and that was a process you know that that pretty much took four months
Affordability crisis a financial crisis housing shortage
You know all of the bullshit with I think we had 13 interest rates
Increases in a row over the last two years so the cost of living here in Australia is just astronomical
even just a few years ago
December early December we found a lender that was willing to help
So since then you know we've had comms with the these the new lender and the existing lender and the liquidator
Yesterday afternoon and even up until
We still thought that potentially because we're getting close to a year and this this guy was getting pretty fucked off that he hadn't received
His money yet. We actually were still thinking that by you know by sometime next week
Maybe Monday Tuesday Wednesday next week. We're actually going to receive a letter from this guy telling us to get out because he's selling the home
So very late yesterday evening
We actually got advised that
Everything's been approved and settlement is today
You know we're finally able to to move on from from this process or this phase in our life
So I'm actually getting goosebumps talking about it now because and I said this to Andy earlier
Today is the first day in
Over six years actually I said this in the founders chat in about eight years
The I've truly felt happy
You know able to smile and not not it just be
You know putting on your professional face or your happy face to deal or cope with the day like
I'm actually smiling today for the first time in eight years
through just happiness, so
I'm actually nearly in tears talking about

Everything, you know, like you mentioned even things like redeploying the contract giving you complete control over
everything for your project
Was very important right from the start
Um, so yeah, it's been a complete overhaul and it's in in the works. You're building a team
Discords been locked down and all secured by dedicated dad
There's just so much going on
Uh for those who don't know about wolf punks, it's uh, basically an animal rescue project. Um
We you know, there's plans to take this across the u.s. Um
Deadeye himself rescues dogs
or animals, um, and you know helps nurture them back to health and
Find homes and works in with other
animal rescues and shelters
You know the ability to provide
All sorts of things whether it's microchips or transportation between states
There's so much to the project
You know from a utility perspective, um, if you haven't looked into it
