Hello everyone, it's Paul behind Rifai Pangan today and we also have Rifai Tulum as co-host
and I think it's Thunder behind and Lemonade Vision here as well co-founder Rifai Pangan
and we're gonna have a nice talk I think because our nose pretty have some common all right and
it'll be nice to talk on that but we will jump deep on that a little bit later let's wait
maybe people and until a couple of minutes and I just want to announce that we have
today's first episode of Rifai Pangan Spaces and today as I mentioned already we do this with Rifai
Tulum and we're excited about that and next spaces we will want to prepare with other nodes
Rifai nodes to share experience to get more details or local specific situation right maybe to
design or thinking or some solutions right that will be pretty interesting and yeah we don't know
maybe it will be next week most likely it will be next week as well and we will announce that
in advance yeah the small announcement of our activity here on x with spaces because we realize
that we really need some channel some space literally to talk with people to communicate
because we have different like messages on telegram on twitter you know people want to
get some knowledge get some experience or maybe share something on that topic or another topic
and yeah we sometimes pretty busy and sometimes we really want to but we have no time and
capacity to go one on one and to have some calls or whatever like 30 30 minutes for that
and we decide that yeah space is pretty nice that's already called space that space for
for us for everyone here to share to talk to inspire to talk maybe on some difficult thing
uh because we live in real life right yeah so uh actually we can start and send request
to co-host Rifai to room but maybe i need to cancel it and there's one more time let me do it
okay okay this should works yeah so let me invite maybe Sandra if you're ready
maybe you can jump i don't know if you need just let me know raise your hand and i will
share this make a speaker for your personal account
because i still care let me
yeah i recommend i send you requests and it's like requested on my site
but one more time Anastasia can you hear me well everything is all right
yes hi hi everyone uh well actually i see that
send Rifai to room requested but it's nothing happening yeah so i also sent a kind of
speaker invitation to send a personal account it looks like
yeah maybe you can share some details Anastasia on that that we're trying to fix with some
technical issues behind our permissions yes yes hello again hello everyone and thanks for joining
us today in this space it's the first episode hopefully this thing will become regular
we came up to this idea of hosting this kind of space after Rifai DAO forum and after exploring
Rifai local nodes round up 2023 article which was written by Montiana Therese and Maya and it's
available for minting on mirror xyz and we felt like wow the nodes are doing so much of great work
i want to know more and we want to actually make people know more about all of them so we started
with Rifai to loom because i personally believe that Copangan and Tulum have so many similarities
that it was the most logical nodes to start with we are both touristic places and party
destinations and even in climate and landscape i believe we have some similarities so we face
similar changes and i'm very excited to hear the story of Sandra from that perspective too
and yeah how is the technical things yeah looks like looks like we have all sounded behind i'm here
i'm here i'm here yes okay yeah it's an issue with my old iphone that i don't my interface doesn't
allow me to accept the co-host role but i can always be a speaker so thank you so much for
having me on your inaugural episode i feel so honored yeah that's cool i just want to ask
everyone here in the space to comment and share this space to invite more people and yeah we can
start actually maybe it's not that we can share some like points from your side that we kind of
think that common for us and especially just tourist overloading for a record non-ecosystem right
and especially this extractive approach that we purely see in the spaces when people i mean
business owners they purely not purely but mainly focus on kind of money and profit side
and often forgot about let me say that west or shit that produced after that and totally ignore
the long-term consequences and all of that and yeah that's pretty interesting to hear from your
site whatever place that's yes yes yes absolutely i'm i'm based in talum which is in quincanero mexico
it's in the mexican caribbean it's a very very beautiful place that has been coming up in
the world in the scene a lot since covid and the pandemic which attracted a lot of expats here
but even before then talum has always had quite a reputation both for its beautiful beaches
but also for the party scene that has developed here and it is very similar to there in thailand
and the islands and we actually are right now entering our our high season of the tourist season
which is you know new year's eve christmas and then the festival season starts and there's some
very big festivals that happen here zamna is a place where in the jungle where festivals happen
afterlife just happened there we also are working with some of the festivals here we're
working with day zero which is also a very big festival i think something like uh 50,000 well
i think 50,000 people come to afterlife in zamna and i think for day zero it's something like 15,000
20,000 people that go to this festival so yeah huge impact also magnified because this area has
been growing in general and it's also been it's had its eye with the mexican government it's
there's there's been a very big focus on the development of this area with the mayan train
which is actually going to be connecting all of kintanaru and yukatan it's a huge high speed
infrastructure project that's been in development the whole time of this of this president's
presidency amlo and then also more recently the talum airport just opened up so
we already we're seeing a lot of impact of the lack of infrastructure lack of planning
the whole beach zone which is along the beach of talum none of that has any actual infrastructure
or sewage so you actually do see the trucks that go in every day to the beach zone to every single
hotel and take out their dirty water and then also you know bring them potable water to use so
um the the more recently um the the actual landfill which was located near the airport
like the new there was a new landfill that the old landfill had gotten decommissioned
the new landfill was by the airport that actually is now no longer working as well um because of
the airport and because of the mayan train so there we don't even actually have a landfill
in talum anymore everything all of our garbage is getting shipped to playa del carmin so yeah
you know the the this is a very um delicate fragile ecosystem it's um basically we have water
flowing underneath us we're not an island but we're the largest under uh the largest
underground system of fresh water and rivers flows underneath us um that's also part of the
beautiful beauty and appeal and and just you know mysticism of this area um but that
but it's also contributes to how delicate the ecosystem is which is just this porous
rock and everything filters through it so um you know on top of that um you know there's just
it there's garbage everywhere and you know that's something that um really impacted me when i first
moved here um i i was already working um very much in the ocean world um dedicated my life to
starting to save the ocean and promoting technologies and innovation to save the ocean and save the
planet regenerate the ocean and so yeah came here you know with very much uh an intent and a desire
to connect with my ocean tribe and be part of the solution rather than just you know an
additional number that is part of the problem so yeah that's what we've been doing here with
refi to loom have um really been focused on uh refi as a mechanism to accelerate technologies to
gather community to spread the word about solutions um and to create new um economic realities for
ourselves so so much going on and uh yeah it's just exciting i know we have a lot of
notes to compare and and that's what i do love about these spaces i know we wanted to
um just you know share share what we're doing in our respective areas because of all the similarities
and yeah this is a great way to do that i'm curious to hear what you guys are up to as well
yeah thank you so much for sharing this looks like really a lot of for going on around there
and i'm really um personally interesting that's uh all the garbage you said that collected
so it's like there is no landfill they just like ship it to some garbage factory right
yeah it's going to a nearby town called playa del carmin which is about an hour away from here
um so yeah i mean and and you know even a couple of years ago during the um pandemic the the
waters there there's four water treatment plants here in Tulum and none of them were working there
was a one of these trucks as i mentioned that goes and picks up the dirty water from
the hotel zone um was actually caught on video dumping that water into the jungle
and as i mentioned you know it's the the jungle is you know made up of all of this cenotes which are
these sacred water holes that are created because of all the flow um that that was actually caused
when the meteor hit here um 67 million billion years ago i get the big stuff and created this
whole uh territory the cantana rue so um yeah all of that was flowing straight from the cenotes
into the ocean into the caribbean ocean so it's um it's a very you know the living here and i
think probably in a lot of places like the global south um you know as a i guess a westerner coming
from the first world although i was actually born in latin america that grew up in the united
states um those kinds of things were very um impactful for me to see you know that just
that there's um you know so much of the impact of uh climate um but of also these infrastructure
issues um were hidden from me and even though in the west or in the developed world we face the
same things you know recycling is a complete lie it doesn't matter whether you're in the u.s canada
or kenya um only you know 92 of plastic is even recyclable or sorry 92 of plastic is not recyclable
so what's happening to all that in in the in the west we just it's hiding from us because we think
that we are turning in our plastic and it's getting taken care of it's not um so i think here just
seeing these things you know i walk out of my you know sort of you know nice in the nicest
neighborhood of talum and i walk outside and i see garbage and plastics thrown all over this
you know beautiful jungle that i'm surrounded by so um the the issues are the same i think we're
just you know hit with them um more strongly uh living in a place like talum so um yeah i think
that that's sort of really really really lit a fire uh under me and um you know a lot of people
that live here have that same fire and passion and and love for the planet so um it's nice that
we have these you know new tools of web3 to unite us and to share um you know what we're all doing
so we can learn and collaborate and and just accelerate our efforts that much faster yeah
that's totally true i agree from my side you know i also have this fire when i noticed that
they burn garbage here we're not so lucky they just burn garbage here like from the collected
municipality and they have three incinerators and so yeah there i know that's like plastic not
golds okay like maybe 10 percent goes to recycle to citation center and then uh to mainland but
you know because like easy because then like majority of this place it's uh this polyethylene
the pink one and you can you know that's pretty hard to recycle it um all technology they like
the kind of laps technology they pretty hard to scale so they wow they need to spend a lot of
kind of money and organize proper um this kind of production chain to recycle them and it's also
kind of not not easy task and that when we as a customer right when kind of users so
that's all this disposables and like name it we should use them less we should buy them less
and next step uh stores or supplying supplying chain in general they also should kind of refresh
a bit stop to sell or provide some alternatives for alternatives more you know that's kind of
pretty from my side as i see it's a systematic approach and yeah i see anastasia
rising hands and when willing to add something please jump on stage
yes i can see i feel your fire uh if your fire started with the garbage burning i started with
this uncontrollable construction and that i see the infrastructure for creating more villas and
bringing more residents to the island is not ready for this how they can think about making
money off this island by bringing more tourists if simply we don't even have the garbage segregation
system so that makes me really stressed and also when i hear people comparing copangan with Ibiza
they say oh this place is going to become Ibiza but i i think in Ibiza at least uh people can
manage the amounts of trash maybe i've never been there to be honest but i'm sure at least
they have garbage separation at least somebody takes this garbage and brings them some brings
it somewhere which doesn't exist in copangan so the investors can't expect to make a lot of money
from the island which will stink from the sewage very soon so yeah i think in our hands also to
work with these investors and builders and try to somehow make them at least contribute back to
the environment yeah i was gonna ask you Sandra the question about your wonderful TF 100 machine
how does it work for you do you actually manage to transform big amounts of plastic or or no
um rip open gun was thinking to uh connect with precious plastic but um we're still considering
and thinking of the budget so please share your wonderful machine story yes um the TF 100
machine which comes from pet gas and uh it's essentially a machine that takes non-recyclable
plastic and transforms it into different objects through a mold function it's it's not um you know
it's called uh thermo formation and um it's very artisanal right now it's it's proof of concept
we have molds that can create a dome we have some decorative objects we can meet make bins
and so yeah we are in the very early stages of getting that machine up and running of getting
a staff to operate it making sure it's operating safely um so that and and yeah you know we've we've
been working um with actually you know it is the the the tourism is it is a double-edged sword
of course um because it brings a lot of money it brings a lot of eyeballs um here in Tulum like in
Ibiza and where you guys are in Pangan there's you know a lot of people that come here for
the parties are influencers and so they're able to shine the spotlight on what we're doing
um but yeah it's still you know very early on for us but we're we're proving the models um
and we're at that point we and one of the festivals that we were working with day zero
we've been working with them now um for three years and um so we we the first festival we
went as our collective the guardians of nature and we picked up trash cigarette butts from the
festival and then the second year um we did the same thing but um with pet gases other technology
which is a thermal cracking uh technology that creates actual combustibles from plastic
um we were actually able to supply them with diesel made from plastic and then this year
we expanded it to be more community activations um and with those activations working with
Tulum coin we rewarded participants with 100 Tulum coins for each activation each action they took
for the planet we had beach cleanups we had a tree planting uh we also had city cleanups and
and we were able to actually prove somebody uh was able to purchase their day zero tickets with
those 500 Tulum coins so we're really like in the phase of wanting to prove the models building
the networks um the ecosystems building the teams bringing people around that can help us
um this it's not you know it's it's a monumental effort and task and and it's overwhelming we go
to the um the center the acopio Tulum circula which is where all of this um recyclables end up
and it's overwhelmed um it's it's just you know coming apart at the seams and so you know for
us our priority um is really to get Tulum circula in a place where we're moving through all the
products in an efficient manner and then we'll be able to um you know have a better system for
transforming those products into other materials um but yeah i mean um you know i i definitely see
that we're going to be there someday there's a lot of interest in what we're doing and we've
actually even had one order already for one of our domes made from this non-recyclable plastic
um they wanted a lot of changes made to it so we'll put that order on hold for now but um
you know there's a lot of interest and desire and and also um you know getting into the eyes of the
tourists and having the tourists really pressure you know the hotel industry the tourism industry
to adopt these practices and to you know work with us to um have a plastic neutrality and to
you know minimize their plastic footprint um you know that's that's what we're moving towards but
it's um still early days and um the machine is really cool and and it makes um you can really
create get creative with it and create different colors of plastic what we're calling plastic
marble um and so yeah we're excited to get that going but first we really have to get organized
well that's pretty excited and let me ask you some question if you can maybe you have some
data on that can you share maybe
amount of money that you spend on that and that's kind of supply chain when you order why
you choose this machine or another and other thing and how your um kind of do you get permission to
work with um garbage at best or um do you like copyright maybe with some um already with some
company that's uh registered there uh some this data details interesting uh for me personally and
for us um to implement um similar yes here everything that we're doing is really a collaborative
and partnership model um with pet gas and with tf 100 um you know that machine is a pet gas machine
it's a shared ownership model where we'll operate it and support actions to get it functional um you
know obviously with our it when we sell um any of the products that come out of the machine you
know we get a piece of that um is also um you know getting uh uh additional help in the functioning
functioning of their um operational center so it's you know uh those those the models are there
we can like so for example the tf 100 if it was to be sold in the market um i believe it goes
for 30 000 we didn't have to pay that um again because we have a shared model with pet gas um
but we did helps to support bringing it to to loom uh and then the products what we're selling right
now um to local businesses and potentially other blockchains that want to be part of what we're
doing is um for them to be part of our plastic neutrality program the plastic neutrality program
takes a lot of different shapes and you know for example like with day zero our plastic
neutrality program involved um you know doing these activations ahead of the event having a team of
guardians going to the event and then the final disposition of the plastic which will be turned
into plastic credits through our relationship with empowered blockchain and that's what what
we're in the process of doing but we can also um work with different companies that want to have
you know set up a regular pickup of their plastic and recyclables and that's something that we've
been developing also in partnership with to them circular circular has really you know the hands
on the ground um the people and the relationships with the local businesses um so we really are just
looking to accelerate those and um put you know more of a formal process behind them where
businesses won't be able to get a plastic neutrality certification which is something that
to them circular already has with the municipality of toloom and so now we want to expand that
program and um you know sell it in a variety of different methods from a weekly pickup of a
business recyclables to specific cleanups that businesses want to do you know some of the things
that are really popular are doing these type of beach cleanups we can support those beach
cleanups with city permits with community activations and then that final disposition of
the plastic and and you know continue to develop these different types of programs that you know
are really customizable for each business and depending on what they want to do and how they
want to work with us we can also do educational workshops with their teams in terms of the
separation in terms of the different types of plastic and you know helping them even you know
activate their customer base so we're all taking an active role in the cleanup of toloom because
it's not just one person and i think that one of the things that has been you know surprising and
also really wonderful is just the amount of desire either is to help from people that are
visiting from a week or you know just a few days to come to a beach cleanup and to connect with
other people that are like-minded it feels really good and especially in a place that's so
beautiful and that is giving you so much in terms of tranquility serenity beauty to you know be able
to you know give yourself of service to mother nature it's a it's something that i don't think
people really realize how rewarding it is you know even when you're on vacation
well that that's exciting and you know that's pleasure to have you as a speaker on space
uh excellent actually uh what i want to say that you mentioned in power and you know i started my
journey from also to find some solutions to reduce um less here right to burn less at least
and the victim a solution for plastic was like it was one of the what i touched first and started to
explore and i have cold ones with empower blockchain because they already like a couple
maybe three years here in thailand they have some pilot projects and a couple different regions
so yes uh that's pretty nice that you mentioned them that you also want to kind of finalize
the circle right that full circle economy and to produce plastic products and also get plastic
tokens or whatever it's in power or different and also get certification so it's like kind of
you on the way to kind of test and finalize this uh let's say uh first full step
approach um that's interesting i mean that's how i see you know what's going on from your side
and i'm excited about that uh we will uh let's say we will watch on you i mean that's pretty
interesting to have this experience and uh yeah because as an station mentioned we also want
here because we have already community like klimp and gun or trash here they do
cleanups every week and they have already that plastic that can be used for recyclable by this
method and why not for this next step and also we can connect with some plastic tokens and maybe
then certification that you you prepared for yourself then and super nice because you know we
you're in toloom we here in pangan it's kind of it's also brand places and everything that's
going on here on pangan on intoloom from good impact perspective and action that's always
you know with with our also efforts but it will get more attention you know it's
kind of we should use it i mean the one thing you do it in some remote village and another
thing you do it in some point that whenever scores from different people from different
continent from different classes for different assets it's like a bit different influence
that i i try to see what we have here for example and that's pretty important
yeah i'm excited about that so i want to invite everyone here in space and want to maybe ask
sandra and if i toloom and some details and we of course have from our side questions and
all that but if you want and willing to share something or ask some questions please raise your
hand i will i will make you speakers so let's go next and on a session they have for something
from your side you know we can ask sandra maybe to tell us more you know on some activities what's
going on there on ground or we can share something from our side yeah that's actually
are willing to share something uh yeah well we also had a little topic to mention the
antibiotic because that basically means that you kind of established yourself into loam as
a business entity right so that's quite an impressive step for the startup that actually
didn't start that long ago and congratulations we already saw a lot of
live streams from the antibiotic on bitcoin spaces it's such an amazing space space
one day i wish to visit it for sure and yeah there was something interesting going on there recently
some yeah we always have thank you so much for mentioning that it's uh yeah it's total labor of
love um that um you know we saw early on a need for a physical location where people could
gather and learn about these topics everything it's it's so new and and there was a lot of
curiosity excitement about nfts and and from the beginning we really saw the power of nfts to
you know create the create the kind of behavior we want to see in the world um you know three
three wards um and connect the physical and digital worlds in in new exciting ways and
you know release unlockable content and just you know also just the power of art and storytelling
to connect with hearts and minds so for all of those reasons yeah it really made sense to
have a physical location and and since we've opened we've um been a hub for learning and and
connecting we've been doing uh almost for two years now um weekly meetups for women in web three
that has been evolving now into more of a focus on refi as well with refi toloom and highlighting
different leaders we do talks that happen both in the metaverse as well as irl in our location
we now also have a cafe so we've got drinks and you can buy an nft and get a drink or a coffee at
the nft cafe and one of the things that we've been doing recently we've been working with
an ordinals mint with one of our community members who is also part of the toloom coin dao and
part of you know really moving and promoting these new systems and based on decentralization
and really on freedom and that's dubby benjamin uh and he's got a um they're they're actually
minting right now they're the alanels and they are minted um on the the bitcoin blockchain it's
um you know something that's relatively new um they're actually being inscribed on the bitcoin
blockchain and he's got some really super innovative features so we've been highlighting his
work and also um doing a community a joint community project where we're we're all
contributing different features to a pixelated jaguar that will be minting as a community
or inscribing on the bitcoin blockchain as a community um and then we also have
other artists um we have an artist uh an artist in residence her name is um shahr she goes by
people's sister and she's got some beautiful nfts and she's donating a percentage of her sold nfts
back to refi toloom we also have house of panther which is um a really beautiful collection that
supports um the rehabilitation and preservation of jaguars which are an endangered species
here in this area and have really seen their population reduced greatly with all of the um
growth and and infrastructure projects that are happening um so you know really critical to save
those animals and you know preserve them for the future um yeah that's just uh some of the things
that happen at the nft boutique but we do you know karaoke we do events um we have a lot of fun
and it's um really great to um you know see who can who's going to walk into the nft boutique from
you know who knows where because you know they've heard of us um or you know for the different
collections that you know maybe want to show be showcased there so it's always a lot of fun you
never know what's going to happen well thanks for sharing that's amazing to hear that you have
actual plays that people can interact between each other we're also dreaming of uh fungan hub
and um yeah after um sometime after i get going we're gonna start on um this big project to collect
the funds to purchase the land to build the dream hub and uh yeah some maybe a couple of
rooms for friends who come to visit maybe they would like to stay with us in the jungle and
uh work and have this co-working space classes for teenagers with programming and
all the things like this so yeah i invited uh all the herify notes to speak please
if you have anything to ask or to share um join us in the conversation so sundrum what do you
think was your biggest achievement in 2023 and or i think you're mostly focusing on the circular
economy so what do you think um that if i too long contributed the most to the local environment
let us know yeah i i think that the the community activations that we've been doing
and um they have but both of these events just just recently happened but i feel like they were
a continuation of our work in 2023 obviously um what we were able to do with day zero was really
exciting to actually see that the incentive incentivizations of the tokens um for work
positive planet work for for to loom that then were able to result in a transaction that's one
of the most exciting things i think we we still really haven't celebrated as a community that that
first transaction just happened for to limb coin uh and so so yeah that's i think that's just you
know a highlight i'm still pretty high from that happening you know just about a week ago
uh and because yeah now we're really now that we've got that um we've got the use cases
we can really start to scale the program so i think that you know the i i just put the
finishing touches on a deck i shared a couple slides from it um and i'm just really excited
to go out there and to start to um you know sell these plastic neutrality programs to businesses
that are here or that are um you know even from uh have a global footprint because of the
uniqueness of to loom we've got um so many eyes on us we've got the the best talent from all over
the world and constantly running into you know teams from netflix um founders of companies like
bitso um they're just incredible you know rock stars from you know like that are are visiting
scott page from pink floyd i mean there's the the the people and the caliber of people that are
coming here are just insane and insanely brilliant and so um really connecting with those people to
help us get the word out i think that's you know what we feel so passionate about is that we want to
share that the solutions exist there's solutions that you know that that can every every place is
different in terms of what's going to work for them but there's solutions like pet gas technologies
and innovations that actually can help us do something with something that's just so freaking
obvious that we need to take care of um and in front of so many of our faces all the time
and that's that our our plastic waste solution and you know also the problem of energy and not
being um energy resilient or having to ship our our oil from the middle east to refineries and the
states back to mexico or venezuela or wherever it may be you know that footprint um where we've
got the resources here um we really just need to invest in the technology um accelerate it scale
it be able to bring it to the global market so you know that's what we're really passionate about
is just showing that the technology that those solutions exist we don't have to be and i think
that's very much part of the the solar punk ethos right like we we we the solar punk solar punk
isn't a fantasy it's real it's what we have um and we just need to get creative in terms
of putting these solutions together um all of us that are in these movements um you know this
is part of it connecting with each other supporting each other and just showing that we don't have to
go you know the opposite direction which feels like you know is you know a daunting um obstacle
with way the way the world is going but if we can focus on the solutions if we can focus on
the positivity if we can go out there and touch tree every day and and get those you know amazing
vibes from trees and be in nature and and just show that you know we can come together
as a community the desire is there the technology is there yeah like just let's just you know show
show the world that it's possible because that's what we we just all have to get our hands dirty
and do it yeah well thanks thanks again and thank you for all what you're doing um i also read
a lot of um interesting ideas that you have for the future and one of them i like very much the
right i'm trying to find the name please remind me the name of this interesting project refi rides
yeah yeah yeah thank you so much yeah as part of refi to loom we have um you know the
plastic neutrality program is one of our um monetization channels it's the one that i'm really
sort of leading the charge with you know of course in collaboration with my team
and then we also have a couple other businesses that are kind of you know connected to
the tourism that really is the center of looms and this area's economy and refi rides are electric
bikes that can be purchased with an nft and the nfts each nft is uh 2000 the value of 2800
and that it gives you access to an electric bike that you can use or you can then rent
and then so with the network of bikes you can for each nft that you have you can take part in the
returns and the uh coppery the the commissions from the bike rentals so and we also are planning on
selling those scooters the branding on the scooters as sponsors so you can actually have your logo
on there and they can you know right now we've got some refi rides branded motorcycles
that are cruising through to loom and that's something that is also a benefit to holders
that have multiple nfts and that's another one of our business models and then the other one
that we have is also on the regenerative tourism because there are so many projects that are
happening here and loom is such a hub for travel we know that there's a lot of regen leaders that
are coming here we actually have a very big week-long event that's coming here we'll give a little
plug to which is regen week it's happening in the third week of march and yeah so we we want to
be able to showcase what's happening with these different projects that are in the area i know
alucious i saw in the crowd would love to include alucious in a road trip
to learn about what they're doing in terms of regenerating the land in this area we also have
relationships with a company or a group called restore coral which does coral planting
and so there's just a lot of different things that are happening and ability to really see
these regenerative projects in action mangrove planting you have the ability to come here and
take these actions and so we're seeing a lot of interest in these kinds of regenerative tourism
experiences and that's something that we'll be also building out this year more so as well
yes yes regenerative tourism is one of our focuses this year as well because apparently
we don't have the term low season anymore looks like all over the year we can have tourists
and a lot of experts living here and yeah the population is growing but the solutions are
not coming recently we came across a group on facebook it was about like 25 people there
who actually planning to make the full montage plastic tree they already started to take steps
we had a meeting with them recently and yeah very young perspective people from from sweden i think
and they have this big plan to save force to save cocongan from destructive full moon party
and create from it something at least sustainable it's not regenerative but at least sustainable so
i'm not sure about the actual solution but they're going to start and implement something already on
this party and we're going to do a big report about what happens we will see as from our side
we're also focusing on on different kind of organizing events because we don't want to
organize extra event where people are going to use plastic cups and straws so in this particular
month we're going to test the small scale solution in in the venue called somersault
and we're going to just bring them additional glasses and additional reusable straws
so maybe they don't need to use the plastic at all and the next month we are planning to organize
completely our event it will be psychedelic party in remote location without alcohol
without plastic cups at all and there will be like cacao corner and tea ceremony and
maybe kratom juice you know this weird
opeotic drink made from the root they love to drink it here in thailand
so yeah let's see how it grows that's that's all and anybody have any question or no
can i share something from my side please yeah sorry i was on my bike to write a little bit and
uh but i listen all that you share here and actually excited that sisandra you have a lot of
mechanics behind and i thinking about business approach and i think about sustainability and
all that thing that's really important and i you know i'm not tired to repeat it all and all
again for all notes for like all import creator think about that and not only think about
but on the also create it create something uh like different uh nft mechanics uf mechanics
uh yeah so if there is nothing for you create this for yourself and that we just mentioned that before
we now in a global um like modern global world we have internet we have a nice community we have
we have infrastructure to finance import creators we have ideas we have people
so i'm excited about that that's that's that's that's successful that's what we're going
and yeah we just we're really from from our side i also want to mention that nft
experiment we're also going to deliver it here and we have a couple different with
regent one gun member next year that provide some status uh the member and we also have planned to
write um party nft is more like four first party second party but this will be tickets um for
for party and also the big one is to deliver the input and the t collection that um would
do the decades intersex and uh we onboard local angel community into web3 blockchain
to all that's that's important that we think that's important for modern info creators
and that's interesting uh that's uh yeah really really interesting and excited
about what's going on a global thing a global state so we have uh like 10 nine minutes and
sunday if you want to share something or maybe ask something from your side and you want to
maybe to ask us something about about something i don't know we're also ready to um yeah to
reply and provide some details um yeah i mean um i i've been putting some slides up um
that i've been working on from you know the the approaches that we're taking and um yeah i'm
happy to share with other people you know i definitely am focused on monetization models and
people that want to support us and be part of what we're doing um you know if there's
any sponsors out there that want to have visibility or um you know want to be part
of what we're doing you know definitely please get in touch um and um yeah you know this i think it's
what what you said is that um you know exactly what we've been doing is just really about
taking action you know so i'm not really asking for a lot of permission although we are lucky we
have very good relationships with the municipality um and you know not saying you know go and
undertake a a cleaning on the freeway without like you know proper guidance from you know the
authorities but um you know anyone can do a cleanup of their neighborhood and i think that
um you know for us taking those actions and showing that we are taking the actions you
know little by little those are small ripples that you know will become waves and um you
know will infect other people and we already see that happening so um you know that's that's what
you know keeps us going is that um the positive feedback and the way that people are reacting
so positively to wanting to clean the environment you know it's it's funny to you know think that
people are actually excited about going to a festival and picking up cigarette butts and trash
but but they are because um you know there's um they they recognize how beautiful and precious
these ecosystems are and that um if they don't do it who's going to do it and you know we all
have a responsibility to leave the world a better place um even if that just means you know
taking an action that someone will see and you know may impact them in a way that you you know
don't anticipate in the moment so um yeah action action is is what we're all about
yeah totally agree and you know um i want to invite you for sure to come for cup and gun
and whatever you have time or maybe we're willing to or maybe other resources that's important but
we're going to have regenison first week here after death cone so the phone will be in the middle
of november bancock so then you just jump on fly or jump on train and you shear and that will be
super nice or of course if you have time or willing to come earlier to cup and gun we from outside we
sure will try our best to counter problems but yeah we kind of we're pretty far from each other
but not far we just need to cross also actually just also one one token yes between us
so yeah one yeah would love to come and and also as i mentioned we we also have a region
week that's happening here in the third week of march so um yeah looking forward to welcoming
some regions um i know that there's also um a really beautiful retreat that is taking place
as well um in just a couple weeks here um or sorry in early march um that john um formerly
from refi dao is putting on it's a a diving um uh and um also psychedelic retreat so it should
be really cool um if anyone is interested in that please let me know as well wow so many kind of
first um valid in cross-section within the room and so fun john really excited to hear that but
i remember one thing back usually you you said that you have some shared program with the
that uh manufacturer is this like kind of your local things or it's kind of global solution
i mean maybe like can we negotiate about that shared partnership uh or can you bring some details
on that if you have um yeah we can definitely discuss i can you know i'm obviously very happy
to connect you with the manufacturer and um you know see what kind of details or you know maybe
local partnerships they have with similar technologies um so yeah i mean we're we're
here to help we want you know this technology to get more exposure to get more use um and
to continue to improve well thank you so much thank you for that support excited about that
because we really see this here we have some changes in the head but uh all many people
like that that's what i like and what we're doing is on one side we do some experiment
can't catch things and we cannot say that yeah that for sure will guarantee provide the
impact and that will be huge or that change of work with the knowledge it might be
uh well what work uh that's also okay there's some data for us to change something right to
choose different different proportional different methodical whatever and
yeah to see here look for something for for that plastic that collected on the different
transform to some produce that's there sale here or like for donors and contributors as gifts
and all of that and yeah we see a lot of uh happiness and impact but if you think that you
haven't that so we have three minutes and i kind of uh we can wrap up i think because i see no one
has extra questions because everyone is here is like to hear what's going on uh behind the
room and yeah it's pretty nice deliver all information and spirits
yeah through all this but we modern technology that we utilize to better coordinate
for communication and deliver better impacts right that's important that's why we're here as well
yeah on the stage i see your hands uh fluid from safe yeah i also want to say my thanks for
sandra and for joining us today and uh telling us i think everything about your work
and which is a lot of work and uh yeah i really enjoyed this time and i want to remind everyone
our guests um that um the article that we pinned in the beginning is actually mintable
and you can support three five dao by maintaining it on ethereum and as well they have a little
energy sold over there on optimism chain and yeah let's support three five dao as well for providing
this great material and helping us to learn about each other more i see a lot of nodes are
more technical some nodes are more you know in real life some nodes are more artistic
so yeah it's interesting to learn about each other and then to build the collaborations upon this
yeah thank you everyone and it was great to have you here thank you so much
yeah thank you everyone so that was really nice and so yeah i was excited and i think you want
see you next week we're going to talk more and of course follow and like get updates from
refine out what's going on and we also deliver from outside and remember that that's uh this
space is to talk to share and to make this pretty nice boosting for our coordination and
our inputs from all sides thank you everyone and bye bye see you
