hey everyone let's give about a few minutes for all the speakers to come in
hey everybody looking forward to today's space thanks B&B chain for having us on and get a
great listeners it's great hang on oh I think we will need one or two more
minutes for one more speaker nice having you guys
what time have we got for everyone for all the speakers today we're about to
for me it's around South Asian time I guess we have people from all over the
world let's hang on we need one more speaker on board marble X is on the way
all right great we have everyone so once again good morning good afternoon great
evening depending on which part of the world you're listening in from this is K
from B&B chain very happy to be here for another EMA gaming EMA is are always
very exciting so today's title is from casual clicks to competitive clashes
exploring the gaming spectrum so as we know in the wet tree space gaming is
really growing a lot and we have many different genres from casual games all
the way to highly competitive stop games like FPS and so on so we have
interesting guests with us today but first of all we will have to highlight
that this is information discussion so that there's none of it is financial
advice and please do your research in the wet tree space so yeah without further
ado let's introduce our guests so let's start with marble X could you
introduce yourself please hi this is Hannah from marble X I'm the global
marketing director here it's a pleasure to be here with all of you I'm so
excited so some of the people that haven't heard of marble X marble X is a
blockchain game ecosystem that is built around exceptional games from Korea or
originating from top 10 global game publishers named net marble it's curious
number one mobile game as well so moblex was established by our HQ net marble and
we build blockchain ecosystems specialized just specialized just for
games that's about it thank you guys for having me here thank you great to have
you guys man it's awesome to see studios like marble X in the wet tree space in
BNB chains area of a blockchain welcome on board next up gaming could you
introduce yourself please yeah hi my name is Blake I'm the head of web 3
marketing for gaming what we are is effectively the world's largest source
of decentralized GPUs making us the world's biggest deep in for GPUs what we
do is we merge three big narratives gaming AI and deep in by allowing gamers
to monetize their despair or unused GPU power while they're playing games on the
PC we then go ahead and monetize it for them powering AI tech rendering and
powering blockchains we also own the third best eSports organization in the
world called the gaming gladiators that's us awesome welcome on board to be
a me chain you guys are number one for eSports welcome to the ear me last but
not least all right my last but not least let's welcome play bucks to
introduce themselves hi guys nice to meet you again water thank you so much
for hosting thank you so much for having play bucks my name is siren I'm the
co-founder and CEO of play bucks so play bugs we're the largest web free
entertainment platform in the whole world we have 16 million users in the
past 12 months this month we grew you know social media by 100% so now
Twitter's grew from 200 K to 420 K followers this month alone and yeah we
have a lot of casual games that people love like walk to earn we have like
shopping I'm not sure if you can consider shopping as a game but for some
ladies they call it a game so we have shop to earn so we have play to earn we
have a stamp to earn we have all of these X to earn in one place so yeah
that's a little bit about pay bucks thank you thank you so much play bucks
I guess that's the interesting thing like gaming is such a unique thing that
you can give me find anything so even you're shopping right you spin the wheel
and stuff I think all these are gaming too so welcome on board that is the the
idea of this conversation today awesome all right if not let's start this
exciting topic with question one so like we all know like where three gaming
suddenly happened and it hit hot into the space and there is so much more room
to go so maybe a question to all is how do you see you at three reshaping the
existing gaming landscape because gaming industry is already a very big industry
so yeah how does it reshape and how does this offers both the casual and
competitive experiences like how does it affect these areas of gaming so maybe we
can start off with mobile X sure there are so many different ways that the
gaming landscape will change by web 3 gaming speaking in terms of Korea there
are still people that view blockchain games in a very negative aspect however
not a lot of people know the bright side of using blockchain technology was
games so integrating blockchain technology into games has the potential
to eliminate or greatly reduce the black markets for in-game items and
currency and actually the black markets in Korea has been a big issue in the
industry for ages as Korea is probably one of the top one gaming countries in
the world so blockchain technology provides immutable records of ownership
for in-game assets this means that the ownership ownership history of an item
is transparent and cannot be altered as a result there is less incentive for
players to engage in horrible activities such as selling stolen account
out accounts or items on black markets because of ownership and everything can
easily be verified on blockchain but um the most important is I think not only do
I see web 3 gaming changing the gaming industry but I personally now think that
gaming is the tipping point for mass adoption of blockchain so cryptocurrency
is just one of many blockchain application and the potential for other
industry has been rolled out so the next runner-up for blockchain usage and mass
adoption is 100% going to be web 3 gaming in my opinion awesome thanks for
sharing I think you are very right about looking at the bright side of blockchain
because like crypto and blockchain is a lot more is a very broad area for
example it is about technology you know back then we when we treat items we have
to meet at landshops and it we treat one off but with blockchain using smart
contracts right open source codes these transactions are allowed globally and
efficiently and you know you don't get scammed through like you know back then
you can transfer me first and I transfer you the money that kind of
transactions going on we're not happen so thanks for that so next up gaming
share your views on this question look I love how blockchain is able to just give
give a little bit back to gamers right so one of the biggest things is DGA's
digital gaming assets and I find that most of the time when people sort of
jump into gaming experiences around the world people are used to sort of like
topping up their in-app purchases through a credit card which is basically
just providing entertainment value for them but they don't really see anything
else other than just that immediate entertainment value and then and then
that's it and like if we want to use the example of FIFA for example right like
you you jump in you buy a FIFA pack you get all these unlocks of cards with new
players you can build out your team and then that that's effectively it right
but with with blockchain what it does is it gives gives the ability to own your
own in-game assets which I think is huge in a number of ways one it creates well
it brings rise to massive creator economies two you can actually have
subsidized gaming in an essence right where if you buy say for example a skin
in a game you can later on decide to sell that for either just like a you
know a subsidized amount for less than what you bought it or for a profit for
more than what you bought it depending on the demand and like the the scarcity
of that asset and I think that sort of brings like a whole new wave of gamers
to to the space right yes you do have speculative gamers or if you will buyers
then but at the same time I think it just makes it a little bit more enjoyable
knowing that you have ownership of something and you can actually like
share that and on sell that at a later date just in-game assets for me are
probably the most exciting thing for web 3 gamers in terms of shaping the new
gaming landscape moving forward yeah absolutely 100% like other than in-game
assets like the assets being on chain opens up a lot of like angle of like
innovations right like like NFTs being assets on chain they can interoperate
across various games right like when you own any collections sometimes different
games create like unique skins specifically for NFT collections in a
game so all these kind of you know arising from owning the NFTs the assets
on chain you have a lot more creative play so that is a very good sharing
thanks for that so lastly um playbooks would you like to share your views on
this question sure I mean yeah these two speakers have given really really
good insights but I think the takeaway is that is in supply incentive this
incentivize a system which web 3 can give all the gamers I think that's
something really really important because you know to play games and to be
able to win small winnings and then sell that small winnings as NFTs digital game
items to the next door you know the next guy I think that's the really fun
part and you know right now we're seeing a huge growth in gaming the great the
gaming market itself is huge right I mean it's bigger than movies and music
combined so in web 3 I think we're gonna we're seeing that definitely we're
seeing some really triple-a games coming along beautiful graphics like you know I
think shrapnel or some this pokemon like similar game to pokemon with guns I
forget the name that that's quite fun right so that's a lot of cool games
coming out on web 3 and I think with the added benefits of incentivize systems
web 3 is definitely the way to go for gaming and as what playbox is doing
right we're launching our very casual gaming platforms and casual games so
users can kind of like start to learn about web 3 so because playbox we're
we're aiming for mass adoption so we don't have like super complicated games
we try to have very casual games so we can adopt and handhold users to teach
them about gas fees and then about NFTs about ownership about sending NFTs from
one place to another so definitely you know web 3 is slowly bringing the next
wave of web 2 users to web 3 and we're just here to help and I think we're
we're all doing a great job at onboarding all these new waves of users
onto BNB ecosystem yeah thanks a lot that definitely great points like you
mentioned we can see the adoption and the quality of the games going up and
and when we say quality just for the highlight that it doesn't mean that it's
just straight talks about triple-a games like in casual games there will be a
lot of thoughts on creating the gameplays as well how you get people
continuously playing for like five hours and so on is an art itself so it is
general we we have different quality range as well and it's a nice thing to
see that we have a whole range of genre games coming on board BNB chain I think
the next question is perfect for playbox as well so we were talking about
adoption so when we zoom out right I always say when we zoom out the whole
blockchain industry like let's talk about market cap is about 1 trillion
now right but it's like if you talk about traditional companies Microsoft
itself is reaching 3 trillion so we have so much to go and in gaming we have like
we always say we have 3 billion gamers out there so we have a lot to grow so
onboarding and getting new players coming in is quite a strategic and
challenge kind of thing so yeah I would like to ask everyone starting with
playbox what what are the biggest challenges and the best practices for
attracting maybe non-crypto native people into the web 3 gaming experience
yeah thank you this is a very very good question I mean it's one of the toughest
actually tasks that all web 3 companies are facing you know you build a
beautiful product you have like beautiful tech really like sophisticated
tech but then how do you bring all these people from the outside you know web 2
people onto the web 3 system so at playbox what we try to do is we try to
hand hold them so for example when you log in first you have this email option
you know the social logins and then you don't really need to learn anything
about web 3 until you need to for example we try to incentivize everyone by
giving them free items in the beginning like web 2 items like in-game item or
free NFTs in the beginning but it initially is a JPEG until you convert
it from JPEG into NFT but we need to tell them why we need to show them why
should you spend seven cents or five cents on BNB chain gas fee to convert
your JPEG into a on-chain NFT so our task is to educate them and
kind of like gamify them into learning about web 3 by slowly hand holding them
through the journey from onboarding to execution to NFT transfers and sales
you know so it's all very carefully planned at playbox so I think that's why
we have a huge conversion rate and we're doing pretty well in terms of usage yeah
so in general I think it's really this UX UI journey from beginning to end yeah
so that's that's my my thought for this question thank you thanks a lot I fully
agree in like gamifying the learning and also the UI UX we have come a long way
like back then when game fight just happened right the UI UX is it's pretty
rough because of the you know different technologies involved so yeah well if
we hear maybe views from gaming on this yeah I love this question this is like
obviously one of the biggest challenges for web 3 in quotation mark games I
think playbacks definitely hit a couple of points that were solid there the
issue is that we're we're sort of like a community and web 3 full of devs that
don't necessarily have the experience to explain the features of what we do in
layman's terms to the everyday user and this is something that we obviously
specialize in at gaming gaming as a proven track record of successfully
bringing over web 2 users into our platform which is like a web 3 tech based
platform almost like a web 2.5 the way that we do that is we make sure that
everything that's blockchain related is just purely the technology that is
seamless on the back end the UX as and you wise the playbacks are sort of
talked about is super important to like do in a way sorry create in a way that
makes sense for the everyday gamer to just be able to jump in and and not have
to worry about anything to do with web 3 right like I'll give you a perfect
example and this is this is something that I always love to refer to like when
it when you're an everyday shopper and you're you head over to Amazon for
example and you just want to buy some some toothpaste in a toothbrush right
you don't you don't care about what Amazon's CMS that they're running on is
you don't you don't care about how many transactions per second that their
credit card issuer can can do you don't care about what the career company that
they use is you don't care about the e-bank gateway that they use to be able
to like transfer your your your money through to their credit card and then
base systems right you don't care about any of that and most of you in the space
might not know about all that at either what you do care about is being able to
go to a website that's easy to use easy to navigate easy to put your down your
credit card payment details and easy to like select a product and then you're
happy to just receive that product on the same day shipping or next day
shipping and that's all you care about and that's this that whole philosophy
the whole reason why these billion dollar companies exist is because they
understand that they understand people and gaming understands people like more
than most other web 3 companies I would say I'd like to say that the people on
stage obviously share the same experience you know play bucks brought
up a good point but we do it in a way that's so seamless that we already have
really great adoption like we top a number of categories on dap radar for
highest on-chain activity yet 99% of our users are all web 280s that have no clue
that we use web 3 tech and this is this is really the way forward you know I
believe that like a really big advantage and I'll finish here for web 3
businesses to onboard crypto users to write that that's best practices which
is what I've just described but a really big advantage that we have is tokenization
we can reward users in a way that no other web 2 company can write like
playbacks talked about giving free items right a system that will be able to be
able to use once GMR X goes live is we'll be able to give people platform
credits which is effectively GMR X which they'll use in our NFT marketplace
right like right now they use an off-chain token that's paired with US
DC but that'll obviously will switch to GMR X but that's the that's the key
advantage I think it's like an unfair advantage I don't I don't know what you
think guys as well and what you think hey but I love that we can do that as
web 3 companies yeah definitely I think um yeah the key point I really like is
that we should focus on the product so in this case wet 3 gaming is the game
right so my dream is actually to one day just call this gaming right there's no
wet 2 gaming or wet 3 gaming as long the game is fun users play it and then they
reap the benefits of the technology involved so if you have the option to
mean to NFTs and enjoy the wet 3 benefits so be it is a technology
expansion so I really like the point so next up Marvel X could you share on
this question please sure so on the gaming side I think the biggest
challenge in attracting web 2 gamers to web 3
about the entertainment purpose so we shouldn't reason why are playing games
it's not for financial purposes it's purely for entertainment gaming is more
of like a small small oasis on little life for short amount of time and this
was the reason web 2 gamers started playing games it's something crucial and
it's something that we shouldn't forget about but now many blockchain games have
failed to prioritize playability and entertainment because they placed too
much emphasis on profitability but Marvel X on the other hand can be
described as a company founded by veterans to combine elements of
playability entertainment and blockchain ecosystem so we don't focus on profit
for users we focus on entertainment and AAA quality games no one would know our
games were or is web 3 games if they're playing it there's nothing hard to learn
about it UI is like any other high-quality web 2 game so if you don't
believe us just go ahead and search our games on your mobile app store right now
like go search let's see if you're interested in board game mechanics like
monopoly go ahead and search up meta world my city on your app store if
you're more interested in brand scale MMORPGs then why don't you look up Nino
Kuni crossroads which is a mega hits of our products so after playing the game
for a while please come to our community and let us know what you think because
you wouldn't know it's a web 3 game we'll be waiting for you guys that is
awesome so reinforcing the point I mentioned so like we mentioned earlier
really happy with that as a gamer yeah I can't wait for one day for everything to
be just just caught gaming right and with studios establish studios like
marble X creating games in game machines ecosystem I think we should be good you
know we should be good in the next few years are looking forward to all the
games coming up so before I move on to the other questions I just want to
highlight that everyone feel free to retweet about this this space because I
think there will be a lot to share through the entire like web web 2 and
battery gaming communities feel free to share and next up I will go into
questions perhaps specifically for marble X so my back to you shared that
you have a lot of games ongoing and I think there will be new games coming up
right for the battery space so yeah for new games coming out could you share
maybe a sneak peek on your upcoming wet 3 game and what are your views on the
future of our wet 3 gaming of course so in last year's gaming trends we
witnessed the growth and height potential in idle RPGs in other words
afk so away from keyboards most notably we gained valuable insight into
expanding upon our game genres through through the success of our headquarters
new game called seven nights idle adventure which reached number one and
number two in sales within all of Asia in Google Play Store and also Apple App
Store so we identified a promising synergy between web 3 markets and these
afk games promoting us to focus on developing a blockchain model tilled
tailored for this afk RPG genre game in the second queue this year marble X is
planning to launch an afk RPG game into our ecosystem through it's our first
time we're actually doing this genre but the game is being developed under the
title pocket girl idol RPG we plan to make further announcements as development
progresses so if you're interested please keep an eye out for this new game
other than this specific game we have two more games being prepared to onboard
to our ecosystem one is named RF project online many of you might already know
this IP this game is a space wall themed SF fantasy MMORPG certain super high
quality game this is planned to integrate blockchain in the first
quarter of 2025 this is a game developed by our headquarters net marble and the
next one is Stella fantasy a third-party developed game and we're just onboarding
it to our ecosystem it's a premium quality character collectible action RPG
where players can become adventurers who travel through the mystic land with
anime styled characters using their NFTs these are all available on our
multi chain which means we're also supporting BNB chain awesome thank you
so much this is a very good example of why we love to have studios like marble
X on board so you have all the way the whole spectrum right like you have
casual games and all the way to action RPGs so I think this is great definitely
look forward to your new games coming up it is always awesome to be able to game
as part of my work so yeah I look forward to that next up I have a
question for gaming so gaming I think you guys are really cool in the sense
that you are involved in like truly industry changing things so like other
than eSports and gaming what trees was in gaming you guys are involved in AI as
well so perhaps we could ask how do you envision AI impacting the future of
competitive gaming within the battery ecosystem it's interesting you say that
we've actually had a couple of spaces recently we've talked about this and AI
has kind of come up a couple of times in both having a positive and a negative
impact the positives are like that AI can just can do so much right like AI can
basically craft you your own player profiles AI can basically help you
complete tasks and give you the most likely I guess best recommendations it
can effectively profile you in a way and improve gaming experiences like in a
number of different ways right AI can also in web 3 have more of like a trust
environment right we're like where web 3 actually kind of acts as like the the I
would say handrails on a bowling alley while like as a trust environment while
AI is the bowling ball down the middle either being destructive or collecting a
strike and this is this is something that I think web 3 pairs so well with
when it comes to AI however the negatives of AI are things like cheating
this is something that is obviously a problem like people can actually go
ahead and put mods in their controls to assist them with assist them with like
a different FPS is right if they're trying to like improve or yeah improve
on accuracy get better shots like do different things like different tasks
that will that would allow them to like completely get a quicker for our rate
than they would otherwise be able to do just from their normal human brain alone
so like I don't know I think that web 3 really does sort of bring bring more of
like I guess like a trusted infrastructure to help AI kind of come
into gaming but at the same time yeah like definitely some pros and cons I
could probably talk all day on this but I'll end it there very nice like
personally like in the space of web 3 yeah we have more and more AI narratives
and some some cool things that I have heard is that you know AI can sort of
mimic pro players play style and then those AI agents can be minted as maybe
NFTs and these can be used to either study or practice against or or even
fans who wants to like play with their favorite esports play they can play
against this like so-called avatar so yeah I think the sky's the limit looking
forward to see how AI web 3 and gaming can expand further so I have a next
question for Playbox so Playbox you guys have huge growth so you can kind of
represent social fight well on dmb chain so social fight and casual gaming
synergies about this how does Playbox leverage on social elements to enhance
the casual gaming experience in the web 3 world thank you for the question so we
you're right you know we're a very casual platform we have very casual gaming we
have things like shopping gaming and what very simple games like walk to earn
in the digital world where you don't need to get sweaty in in real life you
just pick a keyboard and you can walk and the more the more you walk the more
full NFTs digital assets you earn so at Playbox you know we love social we love
casual and I think social is why people actually play games right because you're
lonely you're bored there's nothing to do at home so you want to be whoever you
want to be in your dream that's the fun part and then you you you meet up with
other people and you talk so this is what we're aiming for for you know just to
bring fun to bring interaction to people at home so they can they can be anywhere
in the world and come log into Playbox and dress funny dress silly and be whoever
you want to be and and do everyday things like shopping like
listening to music watching movies we have like the biggest watch to earn in
the world we have the biggest shop to earn in the world we have like a lot of
just fun casual games like we're about to launch
something similar to I'm not sure if if you guys remember this game on reddit
about about replays you know just pixel games where you can where you can just
draw anything you want with your friends like a thousand other friends and it's
like a community drawing so that's something we're launching that should be fun I think
and yeah so in general I think social being social is the whole point of well not the
whole point but the big part of the fun of being on web 3 right because I mean
walking alone is lonely but if you walk like with a couple of two
couple of your friends you don't even have to meet them in real real life but you can
consider them friends because you met online that's the fun part I think so and and that's
what we're really stressing with our next product launch the alpha around early March
yeah thank you so much that is great sharing so for casual games I always feel that it sort of
gives you more time like you can literally play casual games while waiting for the bus
even you know not advised but at work and stuff so unlike maybe like a thousand hours on
Counter Strike those are pure concentrated hours and time span right so that is the cool thing
and yeah I think that pixel game yeah I played it I think I really love it I look forward to
play about having that I think is a very interesting social aspect of gaming
all right thanks for sharing three of our guests so I have one last question so perhaps it's also
like regarding our audiences here so what can our audience do to be involved with the growth of
wet tree gaming on bnb chain so perhaps we can start off with marble x
this is super easy to answer in my opinion easiest options for the listeners here today
is just by engaging with these amazing ama speakers and projects today this can certainly
help with the growth of web 3 gaming on bnb chain easily and all these projects are well-known
projects in the industry partnering with bnb to change the web 3 gaming industry just simply
engage with our communities get to know us try our services out see what we have play just play
with our services and games then you'll be a part of this amazing journey of web 3 gaming
well said well said so you guys heard that next up up gaming um look I want to echo a little bit
of what marble x said like obviously just connecting with projects that are involved
with bnb chain uh you know gaming is proudly launching a token on bnb chain there's a number
of ways that we're remaining evm compatible on our platform um you know like being able to
actually just jump in and connect with each of bnb chains hosts jumping into their twitter spaces
is a super big thing like look guys if you have actually enjoyed this space here's a way you can
get involved and sort of help and spread the message bottom right corner purple button it's
the comment press on it and then just retweet the space if you want to if you want to share this
with your friends you like what you've heard today you want other people to experience what
you've experienced listening to us listen to these great speakers that's how you can get involved
uh very simple way to do it uh and then yeah just keep in keep up to date with all the future
launches that bnb chain have that all of us projects have and yeah thanks for listening
yes definitely retweet the space and just to highlight um the definitely this ama is not
uh financial advice so please do your own research in in this retro space in bnb chain as well so
last but not least um playback so what are your views on this
yeah i think uh marble uh team answered you know something very uh strong so basically there's
nothing like trying i mean you can only imagine a lot of times people just imagine things i'm
going to do this i'm going to take this holiday i'm going to do that and then they something
happen and they never get to do it right because they they they only dream about it but right now
you know we have a trillion dollar market cap bitcoin that's in the bull run i mean things are
going to get crazy within the next month i can tell you we're going to see something nobody in
this room have ever seen before some riches you know we're going to see the biggest bull run in
our lifetimes and the the most money will be in gaming i think one of the highest earnings or
hires like uh what do you call it a profit generating sector in terms of coins tokens or
whatever i think people are just going to be dropping mad money in this sector you don't want
to be on the sidelines and i think bnb chain is like the godfather of the chains right you guys
control like the whole world in terms of crypto you guys are the biggest players so i think to be
involved i think you're in the right place you're in the right you're you're with the right people
you're you're on the right chain so just go out there and try all these airdrop games you know
there's all there's all kinds of crazy airdrops going on you can be earning from spending zero
i've heard people earning like a million dollars like this 13 year old kid you know i'm sure you
guys everyone have heard of him he earned like a crazy airdrop like a million dollars from doing
nothing on on some some some airdrop right so this that's going to be a ton of games doing airdrops
and i think i encourage everyone to study these you know airdrops you can play for free you can
earn for free and and try it otherwise you're just everyone's just going to be wondering two
years from now you know why why is everyone else you know moving up in the world and and you're just
dreaming still so i guess that's my that's my two cents thank you so much
thank you so much payback so once again um let's thank our guests um marble x gaming and playbooks
for sharing uh valuable information about the different uh like spectrum of the whole spectrum
of battery gaming on bnb chain so personally i see a lot of initiatives and development going on for
gaming on uh bnb chain so look forward to that uh keep track of our um tech socials our telegram
our twitter and and of our guests here as well playbox marble x and gaming so look forward to
building more in the gaming space with everyone thank you for tuning in thank you guys good night
thank you bye thanks everyone
