Good morning, good evening, good afternoon everyone, welcome to Flick's Talk 105, we've
got two special guests for our space this week, we've got Sentinel team and Alex Sander
from Solar DBPN, as soon as I have a mirror of all of course kickstart the space, but
before that a quick hello to everyone, see a lot of familiar faces, Sandy, fantastical
animals, snails, Abram, creators, super, hi, hi Nemus, great, first of all a big thanks

check out all the interesting updates that we drop, big thanks to our validators, host,

been a great week so far, not only do we have two proposals ready for upgrade but I think
this week, this month will be really exciting in terms of many things, one being that this
is, we have our anniversary of Omnifix going live on mainnet which is 22nd February, so
we will definitely be bringing a very exciting update that you know, something that will
upgrade that's super important for going forward with our mission to build the Interchain
Media Hub, so I think please watch out for all the updates that are coming this week,
slowly proposal by proposal and discussion by discussion, we are building the Flick's
first, so this is how the flow of the space will be going, we have a quick and actually
very exciting discussion with Sentinel and Alexander here, followed by a quick chat with
our creators, would like to share their updates, I see a lot of you here and I'm excited to
have more of, more creators join in and we'll also share updates from our side in terms of
new channel launches, new exciting videos on Omnifix TV, followed by updates from Super,
from Fanatics and a few important updates from like engineering side and development side,
so really excited, first a quick hello to Sentinel and Alexander, how are you guys doing?
Hello, thank you, yeah thanks for getting this organised, a good big shout out to
Ab who kind of arranged a lot of this in the scenes on Telegram.
Definitely, who do I have here from the Sentinel handle just so that I can...
Yeah, my name's Seventh or my human name Tom, so I kind of head up a lot of the comms within
Sentinel and kind of that bridge with the Sentinel Growth Tower as well, the kind of
creation of the Sentinel Growth Tower is why I'm here speaking on the main Sentinel handle really.
Amazing, amazing, welcome to the space town and hi Alexander, how are you?
Yeah, good morning, just fine, well yeah thank you for inviting and yeah my name is Alex,
we're Alexander, how are you like it to be? I'm CEO and founder at Sol Labs, we are the company
building on top of Sentinel, one of the core contributors, so yeah I'm glad to looking
forward for a great talk today. Amazing, amazing, I think of course like you know Sentinel in
cosmos doesn't need that much of an introduction, this is also a great wave in terms of deep end
that is going on, I'm very excited to see so many cosmos projects doing well, but for those who
have brushed up with Sentinels, have seen some other means, but would like to know what exactly
it is for Sentinel and for Solar-DVPN, I think a brief intro, just like an ELFI version of
what the project is doing would be would be great to start with. Tom if you would like to?
Yeah of course, yeah basically the TLDR on Sentinel is forget kind of centralized VPNs like
Nord and Express, think of Sentinel as like a bandwidth marketplace of which VPNs and other
web3 services can come to us and build, that's essentially the very high level version of it,
so currently we've got quite a few different teams who are building on Sentinel, interestingly
we've got a couple of kind of it's a bit disparaging to say but say web2 kind of tech apps who are kind
of wanting to integrate VPN into their own apps but using Sentinel's network, so there's one
company called Breadcrumbs who they came to us probably mid-2023 and we're going to be launching
something with them probably in the next kind of few weeks into March maybe, so that's that's kind
of like the kind of high level what Sentinel is and what's kind of happening day-to-day at the
moment, yeah. That's great, Alexander would you like to share about solar dvpn and I saw that
you've been representing and talking about a lot of like privacy summits, so yeah sure, so we got
in touch with the Sentinel team around in the beginning of 2021 I believe and previously I
was running my own centralized VPN company which meant to help countries from post-Soviet era
area to combat online censorship and we learned about Sentinel by this time by January 2021 and
we understood that this web 3.0 solution for a VPN is something that is basically a game changer
in terms of online censorship convention, so we started building on top of Sentinel and first we
came out with our own product which is solar dvpn which is pretty much a dvpn application wrapped
up in the way that it feels and works the same way as any other VPN service does so it does not
require you any additional skills or knowledge to use it so like meant it for mass adoption as
we used to say and then when we understood that our joint efforts with the Sentinel team
are bringing a lot to the table we started working together and today we not only developing
and supporting our own application but we are also making tools for other developers to build
on top of a sentinel one of our main major products is the white label SDK which allows
many companies and teams to build their very own dvpn applications using sentinel blockchain
sentinel network and get all the benefits out of it so yeah so far so good we we have several
clients from all over the world small and big tech companies also some startups which are
which are planning on launching their own dvpn applications and yeah we we are assisting all
of them and we're trying to put as much effort into not only promoting and expanding our own
product but also to bring more and more companies and teams building on sentinel because
it's beneficial for network and if it's beneficial for network it's beneficial for us as well
definitely definitely makes sense i think uh a follow-up question so i have is uh um i've
personally used solar dvpn and i know that like uh it's it's a really cool um application uh i know
that you can use it both uh using uh dvpn tokens as well as like for retail users who
don't know how to go about the route they can like you know uh buy gems on the app using in-app
purchases on the app store or the play store is that one of your models in terms of expanding
the reach for uh like you know to retail web to users as well and how did that come about
how did you plan that you just don't want to stick it to you know dvpn this thing models and
what's on the road map right now for solar dvpn
sure so it's a great question uh as you correctly mentioned this web 2.0 uh means of payments are
there because uh our main idea was like let's just distract ourselves a little bit from this topic
if we talk about web 3.0 products in general and services uh most of them are made in such a way
that is quite compact for like regular people who are not much aware of technologists and so on
to to use that product for example no one like asked my grandma she has no clue what is mnemonic
what is a wallet what is uh blockchain and etc but yeah she would definitely like to use
the vpn service and benefit from uh from this web 3.0 technologist to let's say watch youtube
in russia or or something else and that's where we come uh at this point and uh claim that hey
we made the web 3.0 service which is meant for people who don't give a single you know what
about web 3.0 uh so we pack it in the way that it looks like a normal product uh that they used to
used to have but it also has all the benefits of web 3.0 under the hood so what are the road map
that you asked about is uh first of all we would like to go for a further expansion as we launched
this multiple ways for people to pay for dvpn service including web 3.0 and web 2.0
means of payments we would like also to encourage people to share the product with others so we're
planning on launching a referral program which will also allow you to share uh your uh dvpn
application with your friends and family and if they install it then uh the person who invited
them will also get some benefits out of it for example some period of free dvpn service
subscription or something like that uh we expect that to be huge to be honest because this this
way is one of the most common ways for vpn services to to promote online and the other thing
one another thing which is quite popular on the vpn market if we're talking about all vpns out
there is affiliate program for example we know such big companies in the centralized
old school vpn markets they're using affiliate programs such as north vpn uh express vpn
private internet access i believe uses that to surf shark um they collaborate with online
influencers from uh from absolutely different area of uh human endeavors and uh for example
i believe north vpn is being promoted by pewdiepie at some point was being promoted and uh
basically he had this uh his own very special uh affiliate link which he offered his subscribers
to use uh in order to subscribe to north vpn and get a discount uh we're planning this uh
on doing this uh for web 3.0 products which probably will be one of the first cases
when uh that's gonna happen in such a big scale uh so um yeah we're launching both of those
both of these programs uh by the end of the next month by the end of the march and we expect our
user brace to grow significantly uh due to these two programs definitely i think that sounds
really interesting i think vpn is the one category that's also very open-ended especially because as
you mentioned like popular content creators and influencers and even people who are in
privacy privacy tech space have um like started dabbling in this but a lot of them especially
like streaming of content for example uh you'll see that uh there is so much gating of content
and that's one of the top applications like indian viewers for example uh of content when they want
to access it in another countries as they can amend their expats or immigrants they want to
watch that content that's one of the reasons why people always were like you know banking on free
vpn services but not knowing the consequences of you know how much data is blocked and especially
like you know when countries have very strict censorship laws and uh they they would implement
laws to like you know keep store data for a few years i think that's something that has happened
recently in in lot of countries like i think on your on your platform also mentioned about like
you know countries like russia china i think recently india has also had change in data
protection policies so i think that's one of the reasons why vpn has like a growing demand
i think my next question is for sentinel um i i was going through the uh plan that you've
mentioned about like you know at one point the app on ethereum had around one million downloads
and now it's on test light mode on uh on the app store what's the uh plan right now i think i saw a
post where you mentioned about like you know it having the multi multi routing uh this thing and
even more options for security but do you think it it will also come to a stage where
it will be super flexible when it comes to say streaming content as well
exactly it will be so so currently to kind of give an update on our kind of uh main sentinel
kind of app yes it got um well yeah over um kind of a million unique users on on on ethereum and
it's been obviously a couple of years since we've uh kind of come over to cosmos so it's it's very
much in time to kind of have our kind of own app so when people kind of search for sentinel um it's
not just the kind of the network of all the other kind of um vpns and other web services we offer
we have our kind of our own app so we're currently testing that at the moment uh we've got kind of
like a small group we did kind of push it out save people to come in uh we'll be doing like
further pushes to get more people in to kind of test through to kind of really make sure it's a
very like um a nice app and yes to kind of point towards what you said on on kind of like um
multi-routing is like yes so obviously the more hops you put in uh you can you can get increased
privacy but obviously that that becomes an aspect with um decreased ping so um there's always going
to be a trade-off and a balance between kind of uh um privacy and kind of uh pseudo kind of
anonymity um which is kind of it's always going to be a trade-off with that i mean um
um going back to kind of i mean i think it was in the news quite recently that um um russia um
someone within um russia wants to ban access to vpns which i'm not too sure how they would
actually view that um with things like telegram and networks like telegram who can just get apks
out or websites like us but um again i'm i'm in england's where a few years ago i mean we're in
five ice would be uh which is an intelligence group where countries share intelligence with
with one another um there was a back in 2010 i think it was was one of the first stories of many
and there has been many uh where vpn companies who promised no locks are keeping locks and the
government will go give them that give them that knock on the door and they hand it straight over
it so yeah that was the kind of the the lol sec hackers kind of uh um point there but it's happened
again and again even with um uh pro proton now this is an interesting story of proton
their email uh servers um the government swiss government asked for logs of the emails and they
handed them over but interestingly if you were using a proton vpn then using the email they
wouldn't have been able to see the logs in that kind of respect so they wouldn't have known who's
who's their accident so there's lots of there's lots of contradicting laws um with everything
with kind of privacy and kind of as that regulation kind of comes in um there's a lot of space for
people like um central people especially people like um alex who can come in and kind of innovate
around all of that i mean again just to kind of kind of end on another example is again i'm in
england and on osmosis when you want to go and if you want to use levana we you can't we're directed
to a pdf from the english financial institute um i can't remember the exact name of them but
whichever financial commission saying that they they have to block you
now using the vpn kind of gets around that and that's not uh solely a um privacy issue that's
a case of being able to be free on the internet which is kind of our kind of core thesis like
we believe in like a free internet that anyone will be able to access so that kind of brings
back to our core meaning and that brings back to why we're putting out an app for people to use
definitely i think uh even to proton like uh their encryption and stuff like that they have
VPN service as well and very few VPN service that have enough nodes that they can you know
promise to offer as much services but uh even with like proton the encryption there there are
certain things like you know there are small uh i wouldn't say loopholes but uh points where you
know that you'll be like okay if if it doesn't follow exactly this protocol my privacy is not
super guarded i think that's one reason where dvpn uh like you know is the absolute solution that
you have to use an infrastructure that from you know bottom up is built on that principle rather
than a centralized one that is following policy because policy can change tomorrow and uh yeah
definitely i think uh one interesting question i had was about the blue frog mean community
that sentinel helps which is um how how did that come about and like is it is a good growth though
something that's involved there uh do you do you have uh like like a few designers what is it
because it's it's something super catchy i i love uh the creatives and the comms around it i would
want to know more like what's the secret yeah of course yeah well i'll i'll give you kind of a bit
of a like a bit of an access around the back of the stage of that one yeah so um myself when i
when i joined the sentinel kind of community to begin i was solely just as an investor i saw it
when i was looking for projects during the kind of 2018-2019 bear market of what projects do i
think are going to grow and obviously quite quite an easy project to kind of understand is the
centralized vpm because it's a product that people will everyone can use type of thing um so when we
came along obviously at the time everyone's using everyone's using green pepe's and uh there's a
core of it there's about a core of about 20 to 30 of us and um someone banned around the image of uh
making someone started making a couple of memes where pepe was blue and it just kind of exploded
from there really um so then we got then we've changed his name to bepe because on the copyright
rules if you check you can change you can change the intellectual property or something just enough
by about 10 20 and you can get away with it um which is blue and it's called bepe now to kind of
evolve from that further yeah we've we've got lots of people who just like um i mean myself in like
2021 2022 um i was churning out loads of kind of blue friend memes because they're just so much
fun to do um we still got people doing it today i mean we've got a um um like a uh meme warfare
channel on telegram where people are just posting them up and that's always good for a good chuckle
um one of my kind of commitments to kind of as we kind of mature as a brand we we kind of have to
evolve from blue frogs which while i'd never want to give them up we kind of as i said evolved them
so we've come up with like a new character who's um currently on our profile he's still a blue frog
but you can see he's got a suit on and a jacket he's he's had to grow up now and we kind of took
like inspiration from kind of say like uh michelin so currently our work our working title for our
name of uh this frog is called mitch but we're gonna go out and we're gonna we're gonna ask
and to go get get him renamed um i don't know if we're gonna have a bit of a poll with with the
names already chosen so it doesn't get too spicy but um in um in cosmo verse um 2024 we definitely
mitch or whatever it's called then he's definitely going to be making appearance so he's going to be
walking around and um we're gonna it depends how it's set up if we've got booths or anything we'll
have a bit of a photo opportunity um but one of the things that mitch is kind of uh um looking
out for is this evil character called the grab law and he's out there to like kind of grab your
personal data so he'll hopefully be at cosmo verse uh that'll be fun that'll be fun yeah i think uh
yeah because that's that's really fun and uh uh what better way to use something that's i mean
memes are uh by law like sort of an open source space like there is there is like a free usage
term to it but of course you don't want to get into copyright issues because you know uh but yeah
sounds super interesting i think that that's a great idea for cosmo i think a lot of people will
be looking forward to that um yeah mitch okay so uh yeah that that is one thing um uh thank you i
mean both of you guys gave really good alphas in terms of the referrals and this thing but uh and
i also see that central is uh quite on a good role in terms of like you know uh i like great
increase in like weekly active users amount of data being being um like accessed using this thing
so all in all doing great on the metrics uh and i also saw that you have recently put out uh an
omics tv channel so is is that like one of your um start to bringing content over to decentralize
deep and infra as well and i will you be will you guys be rolling out like more tutorials because
i'm pretty sure for solar dvpn and for sentinel there's an importance for people to really figure
out that they need to uh to access it in the best way possible and also the cheapest it's very
important to learn a little bit in terms of how they can get hands on on dvpn token because i
saw the retail packages that are there and they're comparatively more expensive and like you know
rightly so but i think ghost tutorials are something that can really make a difference
they're not just enough for them to understand like what the web3 site is like and i know ui
wise it's like really fluid so what are the efforts in terms of uh really growing central now
to web 3 users as well yeah so definitely um we're basically through from from the growth
now we're going to be putting out kind of more kind of calls for uh tutorials and kind of have
kind of competitions for who can kind of um do specific things like um downloading to a specific
node or one of the one of the current ones that i put out is we're offering a bounty on who can
host a first node in the country of chad um which is proving quite a lot difficult then
i'd imagine but i'd love to be able to connect to a node in chad um but yes we're gonna we're
gonna be going out and just basically contacting a few designers so we can put out like a few kind of
very polished um tutorials out um both live stream but also kind of like kind of short
um um kind of short way of kind of digesting media as well like 30 seconds of do x with
sentinel but but we're currently concentrating on on on the back and just making sure the apps are
working making sure they're like fluid making sure that they're speedy i mean stuff like uh
what alex and the team are working on with like the node health checker where it like scrubs through
the network every um so often to make sure all the nodes are doing saying what they're doing
what they're saying they should be and they have minimum speeds uh and stuff like that yeah so
there's lots of stuff in terms of growth i mean again like the growth now and we've put out um
numerous um proposals to start spending with the community fund um which is going very well um any
kind of white label who's working um on sentinel we're going to be putting grants out so we'll be
publishing kind of news stories on dvpn.news that's kind of our like unofficial type uh news
source there which kind of go through kind of what we're doing so we've uh we've hired through there
as well uh a couple of people um but um through there it's basically going to be our main our
main kind of outputs for for information so on there's where everything's going to be happening
and then how we're going to go through and what we're going to grow with yeah that's yeah that's
that's really cool i think i think some of the points that you mentioned about you know
short crisp content for you know like retail users who understand uh you know opening up
i think those those are really solid steps to you know spread the word out i think
the infra is there now you just need to bring the people um yeah i mean one of one of the things
with the growth towers with grants we're giving away currently is kind of like as a minimum um
five thousand dollars uh to anyone who wants to start with um a white label we'll put that
towards be that traditional marketing be that a website um obviously that's not just not just
the growth tower just straight dumping dvpn tokens to get dollars as we're doing it in quite
a sustainable way so in one of our previous proposals we said we'll be um spending uh
selling a small amount of tokens every so often and we built up quite a nice treasury so we can
kind of uh incentivize those things to happen without a negative impact on on the price and
stuff like that so we're kind of we wanted to kind of do it in very much kind of um like a like a very
sustainable way of getting these people on because again we've got teams of like two people
and we've got like massive teams who come on with like 20 30 people so that five thousand dollars
to begin with may not be a lot to some people but others it that gives them a like a reasonably
functioning um website and like a basic comms pack of terms of like logos and things like
just something to kind of get them going and kind of start them on their journey because we're still
kind of in the middle of our journey we want these people to build on them um on sentinel so
we're here to help and we want to grow so it kind of it's like a win-win for us definitely
definitely no i think uh you know the i mean contributors make make a ton of difference say
from all the flicks i can definitely say there are so many great creators a lot of them in the
space shout out um who who make a ton of difference in terms of like not just giving direction but
also that's the that's the right way out i don't think uh using getting just content creators and
influence to put the word out is the most authentic way so even as to what alex said like you know
referral being a great mode of spreading the word of onboarding people and educating is is
is the right way it's it's organic it takes time but uh i think it's it's more uh foolproof
especially for website because you know there's a lot of knowledge and a lot of tasks that needs
to be passed down yeah 100 i mean even even going on from kind of um what alex kind of um said
there through the referral systems like that's going to be like the first kind of port of call
with the referral system but my vision i would love to see um all these different influencers
rather than kind of um sharing a referral link for um a vpn company that isn't theirs they have
their own branded vpn now obviously there's um there's going to be a lot of um issues with that
round branding because some people um if there was that's used alex's example of pewdiepie when
he was using nordvpn if he had a pewdiepie vpn how'd you kind of go around of ensuring to your
own followers that the vpn is actually like legitimate and there's like and it works well
we'll kind of have kind of powered by sentinel so they can have again like standard white label
like with any kind of product as um the the brand and influencer can put their own name on it and
capture um more kind of of that value there while we kind of take care of the back end um and i'm
sure through quite small amounts of conversation they can they can explain that obviously it's
their front end we handle the back end so that kind of is very unique to web3 that kind of way
the way of just kind of breaking everything down kind of um more and more in a in a kind of
to borrow term atomized way definitely no uh makes sense alex do you have anything to add to this uh
i don't know you know while uh having grown both uh as samplized vpn and then now working with
sentiment do you have any insights to add in terms of uh you know pushing the growth for well uh
yeah as the as tom or seven already told um it's it's more it's more like uh a natural process
of of people like it's evolution of the product when we see that uh people are switching from
from centralized to decentralized services not because they want to try something decentralized
but because decentralized type of things just stop working um as we see on the on the example
of different countries such as uh china uh russia or many other countries which has obviously some
problems with freedom of speech especially online uh we see that there is a crackdown on the vpn
services now uh previously they were trying to ban resources itself like free media or something
like that but they never touched vpn services themselves but for now they just like specifically
going after vpn services and um yeah difference between uh centralized and decentralized is that
in centralized vpn you have a legal entity to go after right uh as as as sam mentioned but um
but the decentralization is no longer a thing because you cannot go after a uh a huge large
community of blue frogs all around the world uh who are running nodes and hosting servers
because it's not one legal entity it's not one physical person you can go after and like
charge them with fines or or whatsoever it's dozens uh it's thousands actually uh of servers
all over the globe and there is no single way possible even in technical means to prevent
these things from working so yeah i guess this decentralization for vpn is uh not uh it's not
something uh for marketing purposes i would say but it's rather the um logical next step of the
evolution of the networks itself and uh we eventually we all will be there in the vpns
and uh these vpn services which do not adopt decentralization they eventually will
cease to exist uh as as they fail to evolve
i definitely agree i mean right now even i look at the stats uh there are i think 10k plus
nodes that are online um having a decentralized definitely makes it more censorship proof
uh so you know i hate definitely on your point yeah you can tell from uh one country as we love
to mention as an example turk ministan it's uh one of the countries on the post soviet area
uh essentially speaking uh sentinel is the only literally only vpn solution does that works in
hundred percent of times in turk ministan no single other vpn service does so that's a real
showcase uh real use case uh that displays it's clearly that decentralization is the key
so yeah i guess so we call we all can just agree on that yeah no that's that's super
insightful i would like to open the floor for uh any creators or audience in the space who would
like to come uh ask questions uh with the sentinel team uh just send me a request i think i have sandy
here sandy please go ahead thank you sentinel you my you speak my language freedom don't cut me off
from the internet uh you guys can hear me okay all right i see 100 signed 100 percent signs okay
first of all congratulations thank you omniflex this is a really important month there's a lot
going on um there's you guys did all the important technical talk uh you told us what you've done
to do all this i'm going to tell you the fun talk chris and i have teamed up because for good reason
there's been a big division between the crypto maxis and the nft artists realm you know these
crypto maxis came over they bought nft projects these pfp's they got rugged they lost money they
got scared they're like forget it and the nft people the artists are like oh my god you know i
just want to admit my art and take my money out and go buy food i'm scared i don't want to get
scammed i don't know what is staking i don't know what is b5 and and it's really kind of bizarre
that these two important communities need each other you know the crypto maxis need us to create
these platforms so there's transactions and there's activity and people coming and uh and we need the
crypto maxis to come over with their staking rewards and keep us afloat and i've just kind of
been watching in the middle here for a while and i feel like i've been getting beat with a stick
from both sides i understand the suffering from both sides because i'm an artist and i'm an
investor in crypto so chris and i have been talking and we just thought we we kind of missed our
friday spaces for omniflix so we saw uh this spot to jump in there and and bring these two communities
together so that's what we're doing and i'm happy to say that while you guys are doing the technical
stuff and providing the vpn my iranian artist friends and crypto people in iran will need to
use that so they can get to omniflix learn do play whatever they want so the combination of us
is fantastic please check out my um my first omniflix video i had to do one where you could
see who i am so you could see my face i think authenticity is important we've got a situation
where people want to be anonymous because it's scary but then we also need to have trust in each
other like who is this person so i want you to know who i am that i'm legitimate that i've
established in the real world fixing cars and and to have legitimacy and standing in the real world
like that coming into web 3 i plan on doing the same i've spent my entire life i come from
generations of people that are respectable and my name means something to me so now that i'm here
and i love you and i know what you're doing i found the best place with the best technology
and we've all been working hard building this this year we're just going to blow it up
have fun the artists are going to find it they don't understand what is omniflix they don't
understand stream paid they don't understand these things they have no idea the grandness
that is waiting for them it is up to me and my community to bring this information to them
so they can slowly start embracing the crypto maxis and what they have to offer and at the
same time provide a place for the crypto maxis to find legitimate projects and things and i know
it's hard because my nft's got stolen as far as like the art lucid and i created fantastical
animals and somebody was off making thousands of dollars we didn't even make like a thousand
dollars and i got messages that somebody was selling our art on another platform so i feel
sorry for the people who buy fake art so we need systems in place to assure that we're not ripped
off you know we're not rugged and and so i deal with real artists photographers people who have
their work on the blockchain and i'm trying to encourage them to come into the cosmos ecosystem
and check out uh just the amazing thing that's here so that is my monologue please check out my

sort of rewards and i need you because all that money is going to go back into the ecosystem

about the potential for referral links and white labels and you were talking about how
influencers are a good way to kind of get your your brand out and your service out and uh i
really like that so for me my creation and my uh collection here on omni flicks is sports related
uh it's a dowel based uh staking rewards game where the outcome of the the ufc fights determine
which nft holders are the winners obviously sports is a huge driver and will be kind of
a little bit immune to the bull bear cycles hopefully and we we chose ufc specifically
because they have a sports cycle that runs all year long unlike baseball or basketball or football
where you have seasons so my question to you is is if you're a creator not necessarily like a big
crypto influencer but if you have an nft collection or an nft platform that could be used to promote
dvpm and sentinel or do the white label like where's the best resources for us to go look
as far as that and then how does the five thousand dollar grant work is that something
where you apply to the dow or are you applying to you the team uh can we get some more information
on those things uh chris i think sentinel sort of dropped off uh i don't know if it's a tank glitch
or um something i'm just gonna wait and see if we can check internally and follow up

like well what do you want to align yourself with and for me being a more freedom-minded

it just makes sense as far as like where you're going to choose to align with okay chris i think

through the money so what we're looking for at the moment in in terms of like
starters of 10 is teams who want to come on have like a like a um an idea in a direction and can
kind of um basically um deliver on what they want to do but but saying that we're going to have kind
of like a wide range of of grants i mean even going down to things like translating web pages
and tutorials into your own native um um language so best bet right now is send us a dm on on x or

it and we can get talking then that's the best way to kind of do it it's interesting with um
with um ufc and a lot of mma stuff because um places i've been have always like um banned it out
especially with um football um as or as we call it in well we call it football in england but i

at three p.m when like the premiere league plays like um the the thinking behind it was
if everyone watches it on tv no one will actually go and attend the games so in the past couple of
years um they kind of structured it so some games are played on the friday or on saturday
morning type things so you can broadcast them but um lots of kind of traditional vpn usage for
that is people just connect to like spain tv channels and watch it back through on there and
even like uh the bbc worldwide service is actually banned in england yeah it's a paid service that
goes out to the world but i can't as like a taxpayer who pay for the bbc can't see that
content which seems a bit odd um the kind of uh i like to derail conversations when people
answer big questions i i don't mean to do it but yeah send it send us a message on on twitter

get back to you and start talking for sure we want to we've got um we've got limited funds to go out
but we want to spend and grow the network and that's um if we end to do that is done through

one question so one idea was that you mentioned this affiliate or partnerships program i guess
you should definitely also talk to krypto if you want i can i can um also yeah tell him about this
because he he recently told me that he definitely wants also to maybe include those things for
example into his channel maybe into the description and just make sure that he also promotes you know
products that are very useful to the community right and where maybe both parties can can get
a deal out of it so if that is interesting for you let me know and the second part was um yeah
why don't you guys have maybe monthly community spaces or something like that or do you organize
them already in discord because i think you have this whole you know blue blue friends um meme going
on and i think this is really also that a culture that could be built out around that you know and
if you have spaces going you will also have more people basically joining you and yeah and the
question now is um how do you ensure um in countries where vpn's are banned let's say russia
china and so on how do you ensure that people still access um dvpn i would imagine that those
websites are probably also banned or are they still accessible and how does the technology
basically behind that work how how do you ensure that it's easy for users to still access vpn
thanks yeah brilliant thank you um uh to answer your second question straight away because it's
still uh fresh in my memory a lot of um vpn's even though they're banned in china are still
everyone still uses a vpn they're still available in most app stores um it's russia who seemed to be
recently wanting to kind of wipe them all off completely but then again what happens on wechat
when people start um sharing around apk files i mean obviously from a security standpoint you
don't just want to be downloading random apk files but you can't just start banning everything i mean
even like like a apparatus like like the chinese government can't just it can't clamp down on it
like there's there's no way for them to stop it other than trying to kind of ban crypto for the
50th time we'll probably see uh for the next time um in terms of community spaces yes they are
coming we're going to be hosting um our own deepin space uh just talking about yeah all things
deeping because um we've got lots of things coming in in terms of that um and also just talking just
again just shooting the s about um just privacy in general just being like kind of rank pundits on
it really that's what we're kind of here for i mean and then to answer the first question that
you asked for yeah i mean at stake cito you guys been around since yeah back on 20 2021
i think it was when you guys spun up a validator a lot of validators have left uh during that time
and shut down and you guys kind of stuck with us um and got a lot of flack as well people
went like this like people are saying like um on i've seen some horrendous comments kind of uh

clear that up kind of really getting a um aligning of what kind of sentinel really means so um

see a apero there they want to use the tools as you know apero is open source and it's also free
for everyone to use there are no charges and we offer offer the services for free you can just
open our discord if you don't know how to use the tutor how to set up one of the utils is that we
have um yeah so uh that's one thing and yeah we just published yesterday a new a proposal an
on-chain proposal for a link for a funding to support the the the implementations of those
utilities and also to help us cover the our ongoing maintenance so yeah the the amount we
are requesting is below 0.007 from the the community pool value so we we always ask for a reasonable
amount so to be to be fair for both of the parties and to not impact everyone so yeah um we just
launched the proposal you celebrate the way just want to mention one thing here but i don't know
because there is some some changes on the expk so omni flex recently upgraded to the to the
sdk v2 so the government proposals they are not they are not reflecting properly on omni flex

then once we have the approval there is a NITA of four weeks to have all those features
in action so people they can use it's okay so you can connect the wild sorta i didn't mention one
one super amazing thank you which is you can link all your wallets once so it's not like the other
token getting boots that we see on solana or i don't know uh other things like you need every
time you need to verify on a desk call you need to go link the wallet to the same process every
time which is super you know super time consumed so you can in appel you can do it only once so if
you did the verification i don't know in a project x and you join the project y and you hold and if
she's from project y you don't need to link again the the wireless and thanks you just click one
button and yeah appel will take will take will take the rest for you so you can link as many
wallets from one chain like let's say you have three omniflex wallets and i don't know you
mentioned like project x uh you have three on wallet one and i don't know five on wallet
x and they are like pulling their rule to her to you must have at least six NFTs from the collection
to get the role i don't know you will appel will combine the NFTs sorry from all your connected
wallets so no need to transfer them to one specific wallet to get the role all you need to
do is link the new wallet or the one that has the NFTs and that's it so you can do the the wallet
connections once like connection all your sagas only flex injective all your work there is no
limitations and yeah then all you need to do after is just click and verify and that's it so

is growing at a great pace we've got more than 250 people who signed up registered and got their
course access nft more than 200 people who have actually finished and gotten a certificate nft
considering that this is a deep in wave it's a great example of a deep in project like akash
using a media deep in project like omniflex to build something totally decentralized free of
cost and actually backed by nft so for both access and course of certification you're using

these projects are going i think getting in there not doing one of these courses will be a great way
