hey mom welcome to the our thousands show the show. Can you hear me, boss?
I can hear you, my friend.
goes with the post with the artwork.
And the artwork's coming up right now.
So, yeah, just make sure you include that link
because that's everyone's proof of attendance claim link.
So I should put that up instead, right?
No, I would put that with the photo.
Okay. All right. Got it. Yeah, no. With the artwork. Okay.
I see where you're in the same post.
But what I would do is I would do the artwork and whatever you want to say about the artwork.
And then right below that, put the link in the second post.
Let's see if I get it together, right?
Well, you can get it together.
You can do it during the intro.
It doesn't have to be this minute.
Yeah, let me bounce out of this
and get started here first.
I get myself into trouble.
Yeah, get the intro started first by all means.
Get the intro started first.
Good morning, Mama Donna.
Good morning, JC. Good morning, Mama Donna. Good morning, JC.
Welcome to the 1000th show.
Just look up on the Tron.
Do you see the new Ten Commandments, Mama Donna?
I want you to remember, you guys remember,

He's getting second breakfast.
He thinks he's a hobbit today.

Lady Rock is shooting to the
with digital art good morning everybody welcome to geezers and crypto my name is crypto bus
and crypto my name is crypto bus and we have an exciting trip a show today because it's our
thousandth one it's going to be exciting mama donna what do you think i think it's pretty
amazing i know when we did 500 i thought that was the milestone oh we have 500 more yeah like whoo can i read you can i read you a little script so today is
a cause for celebration welcome to the show everybody we'll get to jc momentarily but the
script is that um i've got a little write-up here about the geezers and crypto i'd like to share
with you guys this is based on a fax and it's based on public sentiment um and no we're not celebrating
an american skier named michaela sheffern today we are celebrating the geezer so there's that
so let me know yeah i know right uh let me know when you are ready for me to do the reading of
the write-up about the geezers and crypto okay we better say morning to
jc first okay you ready jc good morning everybody and happy thousandth and i remember remember
mama donna a milestone you know we hit a thousand today and a real milestone if every day was a foot our real milestone show would be 5,280
huh yeah follow that the elevation of denver 5280
all right that was a stretch wow that went over my head. Okay, okay. Since JC's operating above the rest of us right now,
let me read this right up from an independent news source, okay?
The Geysers and Crypto is one of the longest-running episodic social audio broadcasts in Web3.
Consistently bringing their audience education, current news,
and the often-term geezer trail, rabbit hole they capture what is possible in web 3 at any age started through the inspiration
of stadler and waldorf characters from the muppets combined with the energy of svu dao
they have evolved to embrace their own unique personas. Featuring CryptoBus,
Mamadonna, and JC, they have inspired a new generation of content creators,
live broadcasters, and community growth managers. On air five days a week, Monday through Friday
at 8 a.m. Pacific is the perfect time slot to tune in to see what they offer.
What do you think about that?
That's just something I found out on the interwebs.
It's just something I found on the interwebs.
You have JC's piece to us.
The only thing I noticed, Mama donna was your name was second
and yours is third but that's okay i like i'm always best that that's in firefighting the guy
at the end is called the cleanup crew oh okay you make sure everybody else does it right well well
let's just say the journalist had to write it from the perspective of what he sees on the screen he always sees bus first and then mama donna and then jc so he or she we don't know
the gender yet so anyway i think i think you will that was really actually that was kind of
flattering wasn't it you know yeah but it's the truth but it's the truth we going today with our thousandth episode
everybody's here jimmy just popped in uh we're gonna have uh how are we gonna start this out
guys well bus is working on a post so let me just set the tone for this the bus is working on a post that's going to be basically you fill out
the event page saying you were here right and by doing that you get an nft sent directly to your
wallet that has the artwork from the thousandth show that bus is working on the post for right now
so and it's only three pieces of information it's's your name. It can be anonymous. We don't care what it is, your wallet address, and then an email address, right? That's it. And then once you hit submit, boom, your NFT gets sent directly to your wallet.
out on the base network just the artwork and then that post will be collectible it'll be a collectible
post of the uh just the banner image we got that we got a few other things up our sleeves but i
don't want to spill the whole bag of beans right now we'll get to that shortly okay let's do it
one bean at a time mama donna what are your primary thoughts of who we are, what we've been doing,
and who we are today? Crazy. All I can say is crazy. Who gets up and gets on a show Monday
through Friday 1,000 times? Tell me. Well, you know, I came up with a definition of crazy a while back.
And, you know, everybody, okay, now, when we meet people on the street and they behave the way they do, they have interior logic that tells them how and what they do, right?
And we can't see that interior logic.
And we can't see that interior logic.
So in essence, everybody we see is crazy because they don't do anything like the way we think.
So our question is, is when we're doing our show, the one thing that we do that's different than others is we don't have any interior logic.
So what do you think about that?
You're there, JC. You're here.
very deep thoughts today.
And we don't usually go that deep on this show.
Well, that's because it's the thousandth.
And with the thousandth show, we just want you to know what is our main job.
You know, for those of you who aren't here all the time, but you're here to greet with us, is our job is education at the most basic
levels. You know, what we do, how do you work as a banker, a DeFi banker with your own wallet?
If you don't have a wallet, we need to help you with that. If you do have a wallet and you don't
know how to look at what your philosophy of what you want to do with that wallet,
No, JC, we help them with their wallet.
They give us their seed phrase.
Or JC, in the case of a community member that reached out to me yesterday,
what happens when their wallet completely disappears from their phone?
Oh, that's kind of scary isn't it yeah but we still help them out with that right yeah so so anyway uh just okay we had to get that out of the way just so you guys know who we are if you're
brand new you see we're having a thousand we do this stuff stuff every day, and we're willing to help as we can.
And I think Jimmy has something to say about that.
We have our friend Jimmy here.
And Jimmy, you started out listening to a show, and what happened to you?
After we bailed you out of jail, your life turned around, didn't it?
Guys, I would not even be this active in Web3 if it weren't for you guys.
You're my onboarding hub.
Even before, this was like geese than crypto on a standalone, right?
So I have a massive debt of gratitude.
I just want to say huge congratulations.
1,000 episodes is no small feat at all. It's a very, very tiny fraction of
the people who do these shows are able to really stay consistent. So I want to ask you guys,
you know, what keeps you going? What inspires you to keep pushing, you know, past 1,000 episodes?
And yeah, I want to get into some highlights too, if you're happy to share that. But first of all,
if you could share just like like, what keeps you going?
You know, what inspires you to do these shows and be so consistent?
Because it's very unique, and I admire it a lot.
Well, you know, I think, I don't know if I would use the word keeps me going.
I think that this show, I know that when I first started,
I was ignorant of a lot of what crypto meant.
When I first started, I was ignorant of why would I want my own wallet?
Why don't I just say, put my money in a bank with,
I think at that time it was,
the interest in the banks in 2008, Mama Donna,
was absolutely zero, wasn't it?
You just had your money in a bank
and then you ate the inflation.
Unless you put it under your mattress.
Yeah, and then at least you can let the moths eat the paper.
So, you know, we looked at this in 2019.
And remember, geysers keep a lot of memories.
What seems like yesterday to us was about the time that your little baby brother or sister was born.
that your little baby brother or sister was born. And so we have a way of looking at the past,
which allows us to talk about what seems to us recent events, but they're events that
a lot of our family, a lot of our community haven't lived through. We looked at from the 60s, the 70s, the 50s, the 80s,
and we're able to see connections. And so when I do this show, originally I would just have a rant hour and my partner in crime, Dan Crypto Dan, said, well, I got to go.
I'm working on video and YouTube, but you need a couple of people to tie you down just
so you don't end up running off the page.
And so he got bused because bused knew how to get in and host the show.
And I can't do, you know, I am a geezer.
I'm a good monotasker, sort of.
And so bus could get the show.
He could look at people coming in and going out.
If I took the time to get people in and out of the show to come to speak, I would probably be about Timnass the Dead's Silence in the air, and then it wouldn't be that much fun.
And then we decided what we need is we'll get Mama Donna, because at that time, Mama Donna, how much did you know about crypto?
Yeah, I knew enough to fumble around, I guess.
I had watched things change radically from the first day we started.
I was growing with the program.
And that was, you know, exactly what we were looking for is that,
is, you know, a preschool to third grade.
I was about first or second grade bus.
What grade were you in when we picked you up?
Oh, you think he was Anna?
There's another word for that.
We call that knowing enough to be dangerous.
Yeah, that is exactly how it was.
And we did make mistakes.
And we did find out how easy it is to be compromised.
I mean, several of us have gone through one thing or another.
And it was a very devastating experience.
But it was priceless because we learned.
And then we were able to share it with other people.
And hopefully they don't have to go through the same thing.
And if they did, we were there being able to understand them, you know.
And so, Jimmy, this, you know, for me, that's what this is about.
It's not a matter of, getting up and going, Oh,
I got to do a show today. You know, it's like brushing teeth and combing your hair.
And, uh, you know, the, the show, you know, I, I get on the computer, I get to look at what's
happening in the world today. I share that with, with, with you guys. And, you know, it makes harmony to me.
So it's a part of my living existence.
So it's not really what keeps me going.
It's just a part of what I am.
So, Buzz, Mama Donna, Will, what keeps you going?
let's go ahead well i was gonna say that uh you know there's many days that i don't want
to do this stupid show and and uh there's still there's a commitment to what our commitment has
been is about education and i really feel that as a a geezer, one of the things that we have a
responsibility to do is to teach the younger generation what we know. And, and I, that's one
of the reasons I always come back to the show and trust me, there's days I don't want to be here because I don't feel good or I just have
a bad attitude. And everybody has those days. But we all three have made a real strong commitment
that we're going to help the younger generation because that's part of our responsibility.
That's the reason I do this.
What do you have to say for yourself, Mama Donna?
You know, it's everything Buzz said,
plus it keeps me learning.
And I think that's one of the most important things,
especially for people in the aging process, like geezers. We need to keep our brains working and we need to stay up with what's happening in the world. And this is one way that
happens for me. And then also being able to pass it on to others. It's pretty cool.
Well, you know, I would say for me real quick, JC, if I can chime in here real quick.
We've been assigned a mission, right? And so with
my former military training, we don't amend the mission until the mission is complete. And our
mission is to be part of the process to bring adoption of blockchain technology to mainstream
and commonality and to popularize it so that other people can participate in the amazing
goodness that it has to offer. Well, you know, guys, I think, I think, Mama Donna, when you're
talking about as you were growing, you know, like we always have those one special days that happens
and, you know, I'm trying to get you to talk for like six months.
And meanwhile, you're going, I never get a chance to talk.
And, you know, in order to talk when I'm talking, what do you got to do?
And you were trained from life.
But with me, what do you got to do?
You got to butt in but with me what do you got to do you gotta butt in you gotta by the way because this is how this is i worked around a bunch of animals called wildland firefighters
and everybody you know when it was important when it was critical when it's a life safety issue
everybody shuts up but if everybody's just talking and, you know, if you want somebody
to hear something, you got to speak louder, you butt in. Now, the day that you once butted in
and you were very timidly said, I don't think what you're saying is right.
And I can feel the tension and fear in your voice. and I went, well, what do you mean?
And all of a sudden you had this wide open audience
to be able to explain your thought.
And I thought that was the most successful day
of the show of the early years.
Okay, now JC, I'm going to butt in real quick.
He's the one responsible for the Geezer song.
Now, remember what we said yesterday.
If you can sing the whole Geezer song.
I just want to congratulate you guys for the show.
And I'm happy to be here.
And it's always nice to see you because I've seen throughout the whole spaces and the community, they come and go.
But you guys stayed. And I feel the legacy that you guys bring.
And I'm really happy that you guys play my song every day because because I mean, I made a lot of art and other stuff,
but it doesn't get seen, but you guys play it every day.
I'm really grateful and I'm really, I'm here to support you guys
and I don't know what else to say.
I'm just happy that you guys keep on doing this
and we can become friends because uh i remember back in the day with uh mr my green
miners and uh also hummingbird warriors and the bees and everybody's like uh it's been a long road
and you still you're still here and they already like went came and go and i'm just happy to be
part of it and that you guys play the song every day And it's like you guys see me
And I'm really appreciating
Thank you for playing the song
I recite it all the way because I get nervous
Because I thought you were going to play it once and that's it
But you kept on playing it every day
So that's what I'm here for
And I really appreciate you guys Well and now Robertz too your song is part of web3 history because you know
it was it was such a catchy tune and it inspired me to take it a step further and mirror the song
and the lyrics and bus's artwork into one experience for people to be able to collect it if they want to.
So I want to, I want to truly give you appreciation and gratitude.
Hold on a second, Lady Rocket.
But, but I mean, Robert, I want to just my, my warmest, deepest appreciation, gratitude
because it's absolutely amazing.
It inspired me to do more, to be a higher level participant
and engage with the show.
And by the way, Robert, you know,
I've been a fan of reggae and ska ever since the 60s.
And your song sticks in my head. The tune is absolutely perfect.
I've been matching up other songs with it, singing other songs to your tune. So you peg
something deep inside of me that makes me happy every day. And if that helps at all, I know it
doesn't bring in money. but to have something that brings
joy, you're, you know, I talk with Buss a lot about what an artist is. And I see his art, I see
your art, and your song is integral to who we are. And I appreciate you very much.
Okay, one quick thing here, JC, just to alert the audience.
And then we'll flip it over to Lady Rocket because I saw her hand up.
The claim page is posted in the Jumbotron.
So follow that link on Unlock Protocol.
It is the event page, the official event page, the only official event page for the Geysers and Crypto, 1,000th episode.
You fill out three pieces of information, not intrusive at all,
and then that NFT will be minted safely to your wallet to say that you were
here and you participated in the show.
Even if you're just a listener.
Well, I'm doing very well.
I promised that I will celebrate your 1000th show, which is congratulations, in an extraordinary way.
So I'm coming to you from Munich, Bavaria, beautiful Munich,
and I promised you a fantastic special guest.
You might remember Zelimir Illich, who is also our top participant in the Moon mission,
and he's going to address you.
So together, and using our American terminology, Zelimir is a very young geezer as well.
Okay, so here we are together. Zelimir is a very young geezer as well. Okay.
Zelimir is sitting next to me and I am at his beautiful residence
that he will tell you briefly about
that actually went to the moon
So I think this is a beautiful way
to celebrate your 1000th anniversary
and congratulate you on that.
And just like Robert was sharing, it's magnificent that others come and go,
but you continue on, not only on Earth, but remember, you are now on the moon.
So with that, I am introducing zelimir who will be
sharing my mic uh we will be showing zelimir a little bit later as geysers we have a right to
have to learn how to use certain features so i will be showing zelimir that so right now he will
be using my microphone so meet geysersers and Wilkom Zelymire.
You met some of them before during our session.
I'm so happy to attend your thousandth show.
Congratulations to all of you.
Let me tell you that Eva has come to Munich not just to attend the Munich traditional security conference, the 64th in a row.
Let me tell you that Eva has come to Munich,
Almost a geyser conference.
Almost a geyser, but she paid to me a visit and had looked at all the arts that are now deposited to the moon.
I'm very happy that this has happened.
It is the first complete collection of 20th century art that is now at the moon.
A place without borders, a place without politics, a place without jealousy and private interests. So with this, what we have achieved,
Copernic Space, Lady Rocket and myself,
I think it is a great achievement.
And we renamed the whole collection
the first European lunar collection.
And we are going to the government of European Union,
to the cultural section, to tell them about it.
This is the first place and the first attempt from Europe to go to the Moon.
Thank you, Zelimir. To make it relevant, it's truly a pleasure.
Zelimir is part of our Copernic Space community. And we've been traveling together for over three years, this entire journey.
And we've done a lot of talks and a lot of presence on Gizr's in crypto.
I am with you guys practically 99% of the time every day.
But something relevant to how to celebrate,
We always have to innovate ourselves
and respond to the new circumstances that surround us.
And this is also relevant.
And I would like to encourage Gizers in Crypto
to take a look at how to celebrate your brand
And what Selimir shared about
rebranding renaming his collection hey hello CKC Cardiano is a very important
celebration message because we have to rename we have to escalate we have to
go faster, higher together
because the world around us changes dramatically.
And I also want to share it with you
as a part of your celebration
because you also have art on the moon.
So I would like to encourage you
to take a look at how to rename a reposition.
And we worked also with AI and some other feedback
and check with AI how they recommend celebrating users
in crypto, but AI and the market research advised us,
Zelimir and I in Copernic Space, to take his collection
and introduce the Museum de Pompidou in Paris.
Because we've been focusing on making it visible here in Bavaria, which is fantastic, and Croatia.
But ultimately, we're reminded that we have a much higher places to go
and this is my wishes and encouragement for gizzer's in crypto a like us aim higher go faster
and go together and it's wonderful if when we do it when we are in giz bridge, age bracket, so to speak.
And I wish you 2,000 geezers in crypto.
And I will be staying here till Saturday.
And if I may, I just want to say I want to thank John Cryptobus for alerting me that I am all over the map with time scheduling of my events.
And I schedule one at 2 a.m. California time because I was scheduling it based. Munich time, which is 9 a.m. California time, where we are going to go live video from Zelimir's Gieser,
Zelimir Gieser Art Collection here from Munich.
So if you are done, if you can, please join us in about half an hour.
Will, hi, nice to see you, and I guess, geezers.
listening to you guys, reminded me
of a great song written by
a true American balladeer.
His name was Weird Al Yankovic,
and he wrote a song called
I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead.
So go ahead bus sorry i'm still laughing on that one because that's what we got to do you know i i want to say you know thank you uh for for uh uh everything that uh lady rocket
and and the foundation and all of the stuff that's been created
for the geezers and around the geezers, I want to say thank you. Because, you know, for the last
three years, you know, I've been doing a lot of artwork for the Lady Foundation. And one of the
great things I've had the opportunity is is the education about being
an artist and and trying to become a a uh an artist that maybe could even sell something along
the way and and learn how to promote my art a complete different way and And, and, uh, uh, I just want to say thank you, both of you,
uh, for putting this together so we could go to the moon because four or six of my pieces of
artwork are on the moon. And, and that is one of those opportunities, uh, that I had. And then of
course the other one is that I've been, I've been in and out of Basil the last two or three years with Lady Rocket.
And of course, your artwork that you've had, I've done some artwork pieces for Lady Rocket with that.
And I've just had a great opportunity and I've had a great time doing it.
I want to say thank you for having that. I have that opportunity.
Well, I appreciate you saying it.
And let me just say that Zelimir and I appreciate you creating beautiful posters.
Lady Rocket and the president.
Yeah, and the president, because we had some presidents here in Munich,
but also beautiful posters that you created
with our community and with Zelimir in it
that you sent it to me while I'm here in Munich.
And we appreciate you, John.
And Mamadona, you are incredible
who are not only geezer but championing.
So Zelimir, here is Mamadonna.
And she's another geezer.
So 70 years plus young, expert in Bitcoin, in games.
And, you know, one of our companies developed
all have some very splendid marketing
and everybody here is wonderful
everybody here is wonderful and the robert
who created also lady rocket's song so well thank you well you know lady rocket you know mama donna
is so young lucky that when she gets to the geezers club she has to show her license to prove she's That's true. Make my day.
I agree because we also met in person during the celebrations.
We can share those beautiful memories of geysers in crypto during the celebration of the anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing on July 20th.
And geezers in crypto who live in Northern California came all the way to Los Angeles.
We met standing next to the Apollo 11 star on a walk of fame in Hollywood,
followed by a celebration at the
W Hotel of the anniversary.
I was just going to ask if it's time for a
commercial break yet or not.
It's wonderful because we need to...
No, you're fine. We're reminiscing here
and it's beautiful. It's a beautiful experience.
Well, he's our very special friend.
And there is a big cryptocurrency conference going on in Denver.
It's a blockchain experience.
They don't like to call it a conference.
So how come it was conference a year ago and this year's experience is smaller than bigger?
Because the DAO had a vote.
The DAO had a vote and they don't want to call it.
The DAO behind ETH Denver had a vote
and they don't want to call it a conference anymore.
So the DAO voted for the experience.
Okay. Guess what,O voted for the experience. Okay.
I'm currently side by side with Will T. He's literally right next to me.
Yeah, and so is Yeramiel.
I see him in the audience.
Some amazing people here have joined.
You guys got to connect with Yeramiel and Block Circle, some of my favorite people in
And guys, if you're just getting to know the geezers, these are some of the most wholesome spaces, hosts, educators.
They break things down very simply and share crypto news.
And it's just like one of my favorite spaces to come to.
So at the same time, weekdays, yeah, definitely walk in with the geezers, guys.
I'll throw it back to will see you for the commercial break great and before we take off let me just mention that zellymir
run half of the universe uh speaking of earth because he was in charge of compact computers
out of munich and i worked for zellymir for about years, eight years as a general manager of Poland here.
So this is a memory about our Gyser's history here.
So we've known each other about 30 years, which I hate to admit, but this makes a particular pleasure to have Zelimir along all of us with his beautiful
art that I am looking at right now, you know, on the moon. And we are reprising the art, we are
increasing the value of the art. This is what I want to tell you. The appreciation and the value
of the art is going up. Zelimir, if you can comment that. It's, yeah, we've been reading about difficulties that some galleries were having in the past
two or three years, finding new customers, finding new interests in the art. And that
was difficult. Now, going to the moon, the first reaction I was having is people calling me and saying,
what do you want for that?
For that piece of art, any money.
So I think it's promising.
I think there is future in it and we should continue.
Yes, and consult with us on the pricing because we are setting a higher price for all of it.
So congratulations one more time.
Happy to be with you from Munich.
We will be having to take off
shortly, but join us if you can in about
half an hour. Congratulations.
Thank you both for sharing your
it's time for that commercial.
Yes. Love you, Lady Rocket.
Thank you, Will. Take care. Love you guys. Bye-bye. That was Jimmy saying. Love you, Lady Rocket. Thank you, Will.
That was Jimmy saying I love you, Lady Rocket.
Have you ever wanted to own a piece of history?
Have you ever imagined what art combined with music could look like?
Well, that's right, ladies and gentlemen,
you now too can own your very own version of the Scrolling with the Visers animated version
available on highlight.xyz. This is combining the musical mastery of Robert Oz and the brilliant
artwork of Crypto Bus and with slight motion animation applied to it.
So what are you going to do?
Well, you're going to follow the post that will soon be up on the Jumbotron.
You're going to follow the link to go to highlight.xyz.
You're going to open up your wallet.
You're going to collect it for 10 USDC.
And by the way, in honoring the geezers today,
And by the way, in honoring the geezers today, KF Media has just made Buss's official artwork collectible and tradable on the base app.
So the show banner for this thousandth show is now tradable on the base app.
So if you're on the base app, just follow Kingfisher's Media and you can trade for the tokens created as a result of that artwork.
Well, we have Vera Mill up, right?
I am present and accounted for, gentlemen and ladies.
My friend, I am so overjoyed.
My cup runneth over, full of energy, full of love.
As you heard my brethren say, I'm literally, I mean, five feet away from Jimmy, ten feet away from Will.
We're sitting downstairs in the lobby area in a nice, comfortable area.
Just enjoying the spaces right now.
Enjoying listening to y'allall I'm looking forward to this a magnificent opportunity of
learning and and I love what the geezers is talking about what you guys are so
focused on is teaching and setting setting a precedence even if you will
for the next generation to do things what you know for lack of a better term
quote-unquote the right way right because we know what a lot of people better term, quote unquote, the right way, right? Because
we know what a lot of people end up doing in the space and various activities. But when you come
from people like, you know, a geezer's age, you know, y'all have structure, you all are, are the,
you're the pillars, if you will, to help the next generation, you know, I'm in my mid 40s.
And if it wasn't for the structure from my grandparents, who helped raise me would not be the man that I am today. And I believe that
that's a very formula of that structure, if you will, if you were to create that into a formula
applies even into Web3 and on. And when we have people like you all, that are expressing yourself,
even having a quote, unquote, lack of knowledge of certain things, like I heard one of the the ladies speak, you know, I'm one of those people. I don't know a lot about
Web3 and the fact that we're okay with admitting that no one's judging. That is a beautiful,
beautiful thing because it shows more that many people are looking to learn. And when we have the
energy right way in a room where people are willing to educate, willing to teach so that
We're setting the world up for something substantial.
There's an amazing shift that's happening in this world.
I think that's why we're all involved into this.
I am truly in awe to know that there is,
with y'all, even your age bracket,
because you call yourselves the geezers,
assuming the age bracket,
I am in freaking awe because my grandparents, they won't even have a mobile device.
They still use flip phones.
So to know that y'all are so deep into this
and providing education, getting involved in NFTs,
doing something so much far beyond of what,
I mean, you guys grew up in,
I mean, the rotary phones prior to that,
just to see that y'all are even involved in this,
man, it sparks this fire in me like
nobody's business thank you so much for what you all are doing for this space for i don't even want
to say passing the torch i'm saying for stoking that fire and keeping that going and being the
pillars that help support what the future is going to be able to stand upon and a firm foundation
much love to all of you and thank you for allowing me to speak this morning.
You know, thank you so much for that statement
because, you know, along the world of being a geezer,
you know, a lot of people don't recognize
that we are important too with creating a program and a community.
And a lot of people just go, guys that are that old, they don't have any idea.
Most people don't realize in my first college classes,
college classes, one of my things I had to learn was how to operate my slide rule for my computer.
All right, guys, that's how old I am. Only a geezer would understand that.
Absolutely. And that's what's amazing is that I've had the opportunity to come from a slide rule
to what we're doing today.
And what an exciting time to be able to be alive.
Well, one thing real quick I can add in.
I remember the day that JC came on here
and he started talking about remembering,
talking on party lines, trying to talk to one of his family members.
So that's how old the geezer.
So, yeah, thank you, brother.
I wanted to acknowledge something, you know, just and just to it almost brings tears.
Because I see things that are perspective that most don't comprehend. And I know that you all, I'm going to say something and it's going to resonate with you.
Because for one thing, you know, being in my mid forties, you know, I remember the rotary phones,
but knowing what you all for your age, let's say fifties, sixt, maybe even beyond, the fact of what you have been allowed to be alive and
witness in a transition on this planet, of what the world used to be from when you were children,
before color televisions, crap, maybe even before a television existed, and being able to see this
transition occur and witness this, I know to at least the extent that God allows me to see and to
feel in my heart. I know how much this means to each of you to be involved with what you're doing.
And I think it goes deeper into your soul than just what it is that you all have created with
the geezers, because you literally are the ones that the younger generations should be looking
to, because you have literally seen the transition from one thing to the next and the expedited path,
the, the, the ultimate, almost like a quantum route, if you will, that has just, even just me
looking back from, you know, late seventies, early 80s, to see the transition,
the growth to now into the mid-20s has been substantial. But to know, even listening to
the stories of my grandparents, to know what happened in the 40s and 50s and on to see that
transition, I could only imagine what it is in your hearts to see and to recognize the beauty
that's there when we don't have fear rooted in our system, right?
When we see the growth in a positive aspect versus something negative.
And it's so reassuring to me to know that there are those people that are of that older generation that are able to see the goodness that can come from something that we call Web3, not just the, oh, my goodness, tech is taking over the world.
We see that when we have the right hearts that have become the true foundation, the pillars.
And that's what you all are setting up here.
When you have those people involved and they're spreading their heart and they're sharing their love with the gifts that they have.
I am so grateful just to even be in a room to hear you all speak because I'm one of
those, just like the ancient texts say, to respect your elders. And it's in a sense to know that
they've been around the block, right? You guys have circled the block. You've seen things that
many could never, ever comprehend that they only see on television. So thank you so much for what
you all have chosen to do in this life., and I hope that you all get to see
the next 30 to 50 years of this massive transition of love that occurs. And I like to consider it
like the thousand year reign of Christ, if you will, where pure love literally reigns. The
transition of all the evil stuff that happens in the world gets pushed aside. All negativity goes
away and love fully reigns. And you guys are witnessing it. You are
helping usher it in. You're the guardrails for the generations to come. Thank you so much for
what you all have done. And thank you so much for the lessons you have taught. And I mean that so
sincerely. Well, thank you. Humbly thank you. Mama Donna, I hear you have something to say.
Well, I guess with all of this input that we've had and encouragement and praise, we won't be able to retire for a while.
Won't be able to retire for a while.
That's a profound statement, Mama Donna.
And I love that because I'm right here alongside you guys,
as long as you guys want to do it.
We're thick as thieves, if you will.
And what I wanted to say real quick,
you got about 13 minutes listening audience.
Look at the link on the Jumbotron for the unlock event page.
You've got about 13 minutes to
claim your attendance badge for this space i do also see mo came up here on stage and jimmy has
his hand up again okay and before you do that uh vera meal i would like to tell you i was seven
years old and my great grandmother got her first dial phone. She used a crank phone.
And it was three longs and seven shorts.
And how you did is you cranked a long one.
And then you cranked half a line, half a line for seven times.
And you could get the operator.
And they would connect you to the other line that you wanted.
She got her dial telephone.
She looked at it and she goes,
well, how do you crank shorts and longs on this? And so, you know, everybody from both ends,
when you show people rotary phones anymore, younger people have a hard time, older people had a hard time, and we happened to hit right in the middle of it and so you know we didn't get to choose
when we were born but we did get to choose what we observed and how we did it uh so jimmy go ahead
well let's go to molecular first ladies first and i'll come through after okay hi molecular how are
you doing i'm doing all right i just want to wish everybody a good morning
and congratulate the geezers in crypto on a thousand episodes.
I mean, that's a huge milestone.
So that's awesome. Thank you.
We're not going to get more praise and wonder and all kinds of stuff?
I want to let Jimmy talk.
So, yes, your eyes are off. I was going to say, Mo, I expected,
you know, a little bit of biology, maybe a little bit of science, you know, some chemistry maybe
from you. I don't know. I'm just correcting my mistakes. We've all got chemistry in here.
Hey, I wanted to ask you guys, you know, reflecting on a thousand episodes,
what have been some of the highlights, like your favorite moments when you look back on those one thousand?
Yeah, that's a great question, Jimmy.
You know, I want to say art wise, I've been going through all of our art that i created for the geezers and by the way
there's more than a couple of them by the way and uh the one that's up on the tron right now
is the one that has given me one of the uh one of the pictures that I created that really makes me emotional.
Because what I see in that picture, you know, I put the ARAP on there
because we are the older generation, and that was the reason i used it and i used the uh i put the logo on it to make sure
that i i'm probably pushing an edge on on on the uh on being able to pull that one off uh but i
but i i don't really uh i really think it's important uh for the artwork because, you know, we have been here for a thousand shows and that's,
you know, we started, the geezer started, uh, in, in, uh, March of 22. And, and we've been doing this
since then. And we've put a commitment into this and I'm really really feels very proud to be able to make this
accomplishment that's one of these things i want to say that piece of artwork is one of the greatest
accomplishments in my lifetime right along with a lot of other things i've done but this is a very, very, very big one. So thank you for the question, Jimmy.
Okay, so Mama Donna, anything left to say or goodbye to get it all?
Keeps us going every day.
I really appreciate everyone who tunes in and keeps us going every day. Well.
Boy, that's reaching back in the memory bank's favorite episode of geezers in the crypto all time.
I'll say one of the pleasures and treats here is listening to Mama Donna's sidebar conversations, which has her mic unmuted.
No, I'm just teasing you, Mama Donna.
It happens. It happens. I would say
the level of trust that you guys have
extended to me to be able to
facilitate something on your behalf, starting with the
500th episode and now carrying it forward
all the way through every 100 episodes. So 5, 6,
7, 8, 9, and now 1,000 episodes.
And being able to provide
you guys with the perspective of this having provenance on the blockchain where, and nobody
can ever take that away from you guys. Right. So I would say that is one of the greatest honors
that I've experienced through the course of this show is the level of trust you guys have extended to me to be able to facilitate that on your behalf. So I have a question for you, Will.
Having to deal with JC for 500 episodes, has your hair turned gray yet?
Oh, my hair was gray long before I met you, JC and every gray hair has a has a female's name on it
how about that jc jc we have we have a hand up a block uh block circle block circles up on stage
how you doing hey jc hey geezer fam It's your boy, BlockCircle.
Welcome back to another episode of Geezers in Crypto.
It's the 1,000th episode extravaganza.
I just wanted to say a big congratulations.
I wish I was here for the previous 999 episodes.
I think I have tuned in before.
I just didn't know it yet.
But I did want to just give a huge congratulations.
for a few dozen minutes and i've been enjoying every second of it um it's hard to to follow up
from from jimmy and your ml and molecular but um i'm i'm doing my best and here i am fumbling and
stumbling well i want you to remember that bus has all of these on tape so you can go back and listen to them.
I was not at my best on that day.
Out of a thousand days, if you're on your best for all the 876, that's pretty good.
And what would the thousandth episode be without our illustrious Night Owl joining the stage?
Hey, Donna Night Owl, how are you doing today?
Well, my manager had this last minute meeting.
I'm like, don't you know I have to get the geezers and say congratulations?
Don't you know I have to get the geezers and say congratulations?
I mean, this is ridiculous.
I mean, this is ridiculous.
So I'm coming in at the end.
But I want to tell you, like, you guys, you know, you're all mentors to me.
And I would have been lost without you and your space, you know, from the day one that I got in.
I just want to say thank you.
You've helped us newbies. You know, you've helped us. Now we're OGs, I guess. I don't know.
But you help us every day, right? You help us every day and we learn something new and we laugh and we have a great time with you guys.
So I just want to say congratulations because it's a huge, huge accomplishment.
And I know other than act of God, you know, you guys are here. You're, you're consistent.
And that's like the key, right. To, to longevity. So thank you.
Are we going to have a wellness Wednesday today?
We are. I just, I just posted this face. I'm telling you,
I was like racked up with work. I'm so like,
I'm fragile so I'm going to need it
now. But yes, we will have a wellness
Wednesday. Excellent. Oh, by the
way, family, I just want to let you guys know.
So Mama Donna, you remember that Christmas
Do you remember that, Mama Donna? She's still muted.
She can't find a button. I muted.
Remember the sauce you sent me for my birthday?
And remember how that came in a two-pack?
Well, I just gave Jimmy his very own bottle of the sauce today.
Oh, Jimmy, you're going to love it.
And I think he's setting up for his show, so I think we're going to have both the Tree Gen Space
and a Wellness Wednesday immediately following the show.
And you're going to have Lady Rocket.
But she's later on today, right?
Well, I thought she said at the next hour, so I don't know.
Well, then that's time to break out the computer and two cell phones.
It'll be a three ring circus if it is.
So all you got to do is jump.
So you want to know what's happening today besides all of that?
We got three minutes left, guys.
That's the fifth episode.
Just take your second episode and just take
your minute. I'll shut up here in
One of the things I want to say is
how to work with people on spaces. And, you know, you actually
get to hear people talk. You actually can feel them when they're talking. And, you know,
I have one of the greatest communities around me that I've been able to meet so many great people.
I want to say thank you all for coming by and stopping by and saying thank you for us creating what we did.
but thank you for being here for us
because the big thing I've been having
we've only missed two shows
and one of them was a fire up on the hill
and the other one was that
X wasn't happy with us that day
because JC used the wrong name for the owner, you know, but that's another story.
But I want to say thank you, everybody, for being here today.
And Block Circle, I did see your hand up, so we'll flip it back to you real quick before we go to Mama Donna.
Okay, the question is, it's a question.
For somebody in their mid to early to late 20s or 30s or 40s, what advice do you have?
Not for like making a million billion dollars, not for how to grow an ex, but just life advice.
What would you tell someone?
Maybe your grandkid or kid or someone like that.
I would have them read the Ten Commandments of Crypto Safety.
How about you, Mama Donna?
I got to think about that.
I think just my in general advice to someone, my grandchildren, whatever, is always be kind.
Yeah, that's a very good one, Mom and Donna.
You know, I want to say that for a younger generation,
education is going to be the key.
And that doesn't mean education on one of these cell phones
I'm talking about going out and finding the education
with using your hands and your and meeting people and learning about life in general and the reality
of what life will bring you if you work at it but these phones and sitting on your butt isn't gonna
isn't gonna make it for you, son. You got to
go out and dig the ditch, if you know what I'm saying. And I want to say thank you for that
question, because that excellent question. Will?
Well, you know, I'm in the age range the block circle described, but if I had to give anybody
life advice that was younger than me right now, I would say embrace your surroundings with your childlike curiosity.
Well, Mama Donna, anything happening today?
It's the one to the right. No no she's there she's there hello hold on i was getting a scam call oh did you know that
oh scam likely that's one of my favorite contacts in my phone so what's happening today mama donna
well what is happening today is Web 3.
First off, we're going to have Wellness Wednesday.
And then we will have the Web 3 Wise Guys at 8 p.m. Eastern on YouTube.
And then Lady Rocket has a space at 11 a.m. Pacific.
Is that right? No, I think Lady Rocket had changed that one. a space at 11 a.m. Pacific.
No, I think Lady Rocket had changed that one.
Sorry, I wrote that down too soon.
Jimmy, you got one coming up
Jimmy is on his face right now, yes.
Well, Buzz, it sounds like we're doing the same thing we always do.
We're late getting out of here.
Someone want to make a comment before i push this button
oh all right i want to say thank you everybody and i'm going to close it out with
robert oz's song called the geezers
There's scroll and geezers, rich in every chain.
scroll up in the geezers rich in every chain
Bought the deck with coupons, ain't that insane?
Scroll and geezers, passing all the tests.
They may forget passwords, but they're still the best.
Okay, so the DAO votes on Thursday, and I swapped this token for that one.
Honey I used to program a VCR.
I may be old, but I'm decentralized.
Yeah, and I still use dark mode.
Let's go with the geys. Secret in the non-usiness.
Teaching young bucks how to shake and live.
Ah. Thank you, everybody, for being here at our thousandth show.
And we will be here tomorrow.
And remember, if you get arrested by the song police because you try to sing the Geezer song and you can't remember the words come on back tomorrow and we'll help bail you out thank you everyone and have a great day
