- Hello everybody. - Yeah, bye, Neil.
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you so be honest, meaningful kind of bars. Hey, Harry, Hey Joel, P Bruno, Thomas, my favorite phone.
I don't, I've never met you, but space rock that pulled. It's got to meet you. Matt. I was not super familiar faces. We'll just.
given the opportunity for people to start to populate in looks like we get good traction. I don't know if we're going to be able to fit everybody in, but we have a fail safe for that. Should people not have the opportunity to to show their
project. Don't worry about it. That'll come soon. So just let it populate a bit. Great turnout and then we'll start to allow you guys to come on up. Talk about your projects, a lot of fantastic projects that have been for grants, I should say.
been put forward for this get coin beta dcy cornerstone round. Actually just it's the dcy round really awesome projects. Very exciting to see you with the next year that's going to yield in terms of dcy projects and cool tech and communities that are going to be spun up
very, very interesting. So we're just going to wait on our co-host MoonDow, their official Twitter to come on up and then we'll open this up and allow people to start talking
talking about their stuff. So just bear with me. Unfortunately, Twitter turns off the music when I start talking. So a little bit of silence, then we'll get going.
For those of you who can and are willing to just feel free to refweet this out, just ping those might have forgotten to come in and show you know slow process. But the engagement will help it, it will help the communities that are looking to raise funding for their awesome
and projects. So this is a communal event that decides about community, web groups, about community. So help us, help ourselves and we'll make this space a much better space. Mind you all, I don't know if you can, you have an ETA on when Lucas or Ryan will be coming in with the Moon Dial
Yeah, the thing is I was already in touch with them and they told me that they were joined. But maybe there was something unclear about the time across the last
time we started at 4pm, Central European time, but it was all in the calendar. So let's give it a couple of more minutes and then I think we are good to go.
Awesome. Sounds good. By the way, for those projects that were present last week to SHILD, you guys are more than welcome to come back up and talk more about what you are building. There are ample opportunities to show your projects over the coming two weeks. There is another opportunity
to do so later on today with Labdow, Jocelyn, and Back Crew is putting together a show session. So if you don't make it up here now, you'll be up to you go there. And even if you did make it up here now, never hurts to put in more marketing efforts to get those funds raised. So don't worry about it. It will be cool.
So in the interest of time and to respect people's time, we can get started. So just brief intro. This is the SHILL session, still just number two, for the get going desi round, the applications for those who put in grants started on the 14th end of the
April, this actual fundraising period goes from the 25th of April to the 9th of May, so you have a good two-ish week to get that community engagement and that support in. Remind your participant that it doesn't matter what they donate.
It's simply the fact that they do donate. This quadratic funding puts a lot more emphasis on the community that you can bring forth and less so on how much they can individually put in. So the funding raised currently is I believe 85,000
I could be a little bit off with that, but there's the opportunity for funders to come in and provide more funding. So if you do also know people interested in investing in design, investing in the prospect of design, you can let them know that there's still opportunity. The total cat per project is 13
So that's how much you can be matched. Anything above that will not be matched for you. And so yeah, the description of the round, the Deceir Online includes grants that fall into the domain of decentralized science. This includes research projects, following the
principles of open science and projects building public infrastructure for funding, creating, reviewing, crediting, storing and disseminating scientific knowledge fairly equitably and using the Web through stack. Now that last piece is not 100% true. We have great entrance like side to side that are currently not building out leveraging Web through stacks, but they
