Three drinks in the house
How you getting in the camera?
How you getting in the camera?
How you getting in the camera?
How you getting in the camera?
How you getting in the camera?
Swing the bat on you like the devil himself
Put it on in sickness to health
Nigga, you can only breathe with help
You don't wanna hear what you're saying yourself
Hit the street with incredible beats
We renowned for tearing it down
Never have you heard a similar sound
Like a drop off when shit pop off
Side scorching from a hot gun
Niggas get lost in the buildings
With money and the children
Not the type to talk too much
Dominican flag over the bed
Protect everything I've read
You acting like if we don't chew
Niggas try to change my plans
I'ma beat you till I break my hands
Do the jump in every place I stand
In a convertible gray porch
I'm three miles ahead of you
It's a music group massive
The driver and the passer
Just another climb in the street
Ain't nothing about to climb
I'm so pumped for today's episode
Two more minutes of intro
This cut goes out to all y'all
The son is the center of the earth
In the middle of the universe
Coming six times rehearse
But I'll write him like such
Controlled by the screams
Sign of a local nigga unraveling
More than your eye can see
It might sound a little something
It might sound a little something
If it ain't saying nothing
Ray's scared of his shadow
Got a plan with the population
It might sound a little something
Still a thousand and one ways
God takes care of old folks and fools
While the devil takes care of making all the rules
Folks don't even own themselves
One out of one million residents
The politics of chains and whips
Got the sick missing chips
And all the championships
What's love got to do with what you got
Don't let a weight get to your head
It might sound a little something
Where's the game in life?
It might sound a little something
If it ain't saying nothing
Aquamarine backgrounds here
Submitted all my paperwork
You're going to Hong Kong
That's what it's all about
You guys got a cruise ship
A good marketing strategy
The aquamarine background
Originally I just thought
People were spitting it out
Something about chocolate
It's already in Hong Kong
So you will have a chance
You sell it in the US too
Like what are you building
Like what's the wine about
What do you want to create
And like having a business
And like pushing community
We have the Sonoma County
Which is like a really fancy
We're hoping to have something
Imagine if we have a wine
We wanna have like a party
In like a villa somewhere
That you're gonna be able
To get the members only NFT
To claim the physical rosé
But there's only a thousand
But yeah, we're hoping to have parties in Italy, if that's the case, if people are willing to show up.
Plus, we have to see where the majority of our members are located, which is going to be a big thing.
If we have a lot of members in Los Angeles, then we could potentially throw a Los Angeles party or in Sonoma County or San Francisco.
But we got our eye on Italy right now.
I think that would be the most fun.
Man, that sounds amazing.
Can you tell a little bit more about that?
Because that's definitely the part that everyone in the NFT space, when you say something like that, everyone is like, hey, like...
If I say that it's going to be worth more, then I'm deemed as a security or something like that.
And wine is supposed to increase in value.
And the kind of wine that we're going to get, it's very rare.
So we'll be getting wine that will only be like one barrel of from like a certain type of year.
So that's what we're trying to focus on.
So when we get that bottle, the red wines age.
They become more valuable.
And if you have the voucher, then your voucher might become more valuable.
So it really depends on the type of wine that we get in the future.
But that's our goal, to get like the rarest, best wines that people are sought after and looking for.
One of our challenges is that right now, Web3 is all over ApeLine.
We're talking to a bunch of wineries and everything, but it's so hard explaining to them
of what, like Web3 and authentication and how it works.
Just because a lot of the systems there are very archaic.
So that's one of our challenges.
But once we get a good idea, like I think our first round with the Rosé, once we're able to show them,
look, you get the voucher.
You have a chip on the back.
You can prove authenticity.
I think once they see it for their own eyes, they're going to be like, okay, let's go.
I think already there are a few examples that are doing it, you know.
So I created a pitch deck for chocolate like that.
So, you know, you can take, you can also show them the 90cc, how they do it, right?
Like you have an example so they can see it, how it works.
And I put into the pitch deck like A-Border, Board Brewing Company, Dr. Bombay and some other stuff from like food area.
And it makes, it actually makes my life much easier when I try to explain something.
You mean in a pitch deck?
I basically created something like a pitch deck for people because it's so, you know, you, it's so hard to explain all the time.
Like you start talking to someone and it's all over again, right?
So I basically, I have a pitch deck.
I just show it to them and say, hey, Snoop Dogg does this.
And it's so much easier to show them like visual, like PDF or PowerPoint presentation, right?
We're working on an explainer video, but we want it to be like animated and like have quality.
So it's taking a little bit longer than we're hoping for, but we'll probably have like a quick PDF, like, like drawing, just explaining the voucher and, you know, what you're claiming and when it becomes physical, you know, because all that stuff.
When I talk to people about it, you can see their eyes glaze over unless they're on Web 3, like pretty, pretty quickly.
So I want to get, I want to make sure that like I have one, at least one piece of paper or like one PDF that shows this is how it works.
So, yeah, we're working on that as well.
Just trying to make things as user friendly as possible.
Yeah, that makes so much sense.
And we also hosted actually Chantal from Metabrew, right?
And they, their NFT, I think, grant access to beer for the whole year.
So your membership, is there some kind of like, you know, end date or expiration date or how it works?
No, if you have the members only NFT, that you're in the club, one thing that we're hoping for, I mean, one of our needs is going to need,
hopefully Bored Apes bring a marketplace back where royalties are used because then we can really give back to our clients.
Because right now with OpenSea, you know, once you sell out the mint, like people can just put 0% on any royalties, which is hard for builders.
But if Bored Apes actually come out with a marketplace where they especially use made by ape protocols, and then they charge a royalty fee for it just by being like a Bored Ape member, that's going to help us greatly.
And then we can use some of those royalty fees, and we can give it back to the community by buying a better wine, having better parties, and everything like that.
Guys, I think life in the club will be amazing, because imagine you wake up, you have two vodka by Betty, then you drink ape wine, then you drink a little bit of ape water, you know, just to chill.
Then you will have a Bored Brewing beer, then you have Meta Brew beer.
Oh my god, I don't know what's going to happen in the club, but it's wild, it's wild.
And you can have an amazing tea, you know, after that, so you don't have a hangover.
Damn, everyone will join the club after that.
I think once people start seeing, like, oh, you have a built-in community of people that want to buy some of the items that Bored Apes are selling, I think more people will either utilize their IP, or more businesses will buy the IP.
You know, we've seen, like, people like Arizona Ice Tea, I think they own an ape, right?
Like, they haven't really utilized it in a way, but if they just threw a Bored Ape on, like, 5,000 bottles, like, I bet those bottles will sell out faster than any of their bottles at that time.
I think there's 5,000 or nothing, 5,000 Bored Apes that will just want one of those in their kitchen, like, hanging up in the, like, never even open, just hanging up in the fridge.
Yeah, I can imagine that, and maybe it's got to be, like, that, what was the name of the movie?
So, maybe Hector, they will wake up in Bored Kitchen and be like, damn, what are we doing here, you know, what's happening?
I mean, Hector can't sell, right?
But it doesn't mean that he can't drink in the kitchen, I guess.
No, no, no, go ahead, go ahead.
No, I mean, yeah, we can maybe drink in the kitchen.
I need to check with the team there, but, yeah, for sure.
But, hey, are you based in Cali, or?
My partner's up in San Francisco by Napa Valley.
Napa Valley, all right, all right.
He's closer to Napa Valley than me, so he's kind of bouncing back and forth between Sonoma County and Napa.
And I'm in L.A. kind of doing more of the tech and the creative for Apesline.
We have some plans for next year.
Let's see where we end up, but for sure, that Italy party sounds like a plan.
We should do a joint venture over there.
That would be so much fun.
Ship the meat, and then we can cook them.
I need to go back to the kitchen.
We're building here full speed, so I need to go and finalize some stuff.
But good talking to you guys.
See you on Saturday, man.
Sab, do you also think about a digital version of your wine?
Because, you know, you have the NFT.
So I imagine the wine cellar on the other side where you can see your wine that you own.
I don't know, something like that.
Do you also think about it?
I mean, all of our NFTs, like, I can't wait to show the members only NFT.
It's one of my favorite, but I just keep stopping myself from sharing it because I kind of want
there to be, like, a surprise of some sort after the fact.
And so I think people will have that NFT.
And one of the things that I really believe in in the future is digital framing.
So we try and make everything the size of a digital frame, too, so that if you have a
wine, like, wine cellar or something like that, and you have a digital frame in there,
and you just have, like, a push motion of all your NFTs, the Apevine NFT will be there,
and it'll show off the NFT.
It'll show off the wine in, like, this beautiful environment, you know, animated, of course.
And then people ask about it.
You can be like, oh, yeah, I have this wine, and this is what we're doing with it and everything
But, yeah, we're going to stay in the world of fidgetals for a while, which is, I didn't
coin that term, but I don't even know where I heard it.
But, yeah, we're nothing without NFTs.
I think this can be really interesting because actually I was in Berlin testing the Metropolis,
you know, the other side world for the MiBits.
And actually there were kind of drinks, you know, on the ground that you can pick up,
So I think everyone who's doing something, like, NFT and physical, you actually can use
that in the game or on the other side, you know.
Maybe if you drink wine, you relax or, you know, something like that.
Well, we have tons of other Ds.
Like, if we have an other D, then we just have, like, a winery.
We make one, like, a winery.
Like, maybe in one of the acid towns, you know, like, just make it really crazy.
Like, we have to see, like, how the other side works out.
But for sure, like, we want it, like, maybe it can be power-ups or in wine case,
But just some kind of experience.
Like, we don't want to break away from the NFT world or even games.
And there are more games, right?
Like, there is the Pixels.
I know there was a Mutant Beer in that game.
Like, did the Mutant Beer, if you drank it, did you, like…
Or, sorry, it was Energy Drunk.
Sorry, it was not Mutant Beer.
Sorry, it was an Energy Drink.
So when you drank it, you got more energy.
There's, you know, another game by Vora.
I know Nana's Ape and Hound and Koda is there.
Like, digital, physical, you know, you can play with it.
You can use it for marketing, for branding.
So it's really interesting.
Like, imagine one day down the line, you can do Grand Theft Auto with your ape.
And, you know, if you're members only, you can, like, carry around an ape mine with you.
You can just drink it while you're walking around.
Like, I think there's so many use cases down in the future.
But we got a little bit to go until we find out exactly how all of these NFTs are going
to merge into the metaverse.
And you can own your digital identity.
But yeah, like, we're, that's one of the things that I'm really passionate about.
Like, I want to keep, I want to keep this going, like, wherever NFTs go.
Like, whether it's gaming or just some sort of digital, like, town or world or, you know,
like, we love the idea of just keeping it all together.
But after, after what I saw in Berlin, I, I'm 100% sure that we will be able to use,
you know, these kind of digital products there.
There was the name, it was Bitfist or something like that.
So, you know, you can drink wine, you can drink beer, you can drink serum.
That's going to be so interesting.
You know, maybe you can buy it there actually, right?
So, but I have to shut up because this is the topic for Outer Space FM.
Our sponsor in 10 minutes and one hour.
That means in 70 minutes, you can go there.
You can discuss others, other side and everything in gaming.
Now I'm waiting for that eat, you know, I'm waiting for that eat.
Everyone's confused right now what's happening, but it's okay.
I thought you were breaking to commercial, man.
Yeah, that was pre-recorded.
I know, Beast, you unmuted.
You have more questions, but I see SSP also here, right?
He's always here on inspection and he's always curious if he asks about ApeCoin.
Will we be able to buy your wine with ApeCoin?
I know, I'm so ashamed that I have to say this, but our contract makers and the way our
contract works, we can't accept ApeCoin at this point.
So, we have to take Ethereum, especially with the amount of ApeCoin that was just fluctuating
So, I'm sorry, no ApeCoin for the initial mint, but that was our plan from the get-go.
But ApeCoin was just too much of a rollercoaster for us to handle.
Yeah, I think I found a solution, guys.
If you want to buy ApeWine with ApeCoin, just buy with ETH and send the amount of ApeCoin
to greatflave.eth and I think everything will be okay.
Yeah, that's a plan, guys.
I'm wondering, like, so you're going to have wine for collectors.
Do you plan for the future maybe to, you know, like be in restaurants or like clubs or some
other sort of distribution?
So, our next wines that we have are going to be too rare to just be selling to restaurants
You only have a thousand bottles of like a certain red wine and you're paying, you're
kind of paying for the authentication and everything like that.
I don't know how we're going to do that with restaurants.
But if we start getting bigger and bigger, then we might just open up our rosé to the
And then we'll have our rosé and then like maybe slowly start bringing in like, you know,
like less expensive bottles to more masses.
But the only ones with authentication will be for the members only and, you know, very special
occasions and stuff like that.
So, you're like Tesla, right?
You're starting with Roadster, then maybe Model X and then you go for like bigger adoption.
And especially if Bored Apes do create their own marketplace and we bring back royalties,
the game will completely change.
I mean, I don't know if you guys know much about my Saints and Sinners project that I
But basically, if you own a Sepsos Genesis token, you got every artwork ever for free from
Like, and I would drop it every once in a while.
But then once royalties crashed, it was impossible to keep up.
And so, that's one thing that we're like banking on is that if we're going to expand to a much
bigger horizon, like create our own wine for different events, like different rosés and
get like a mass amount and have them in restaurants and everything like that.
So, royalties is what makes NFTs tick, you know?
So, we're really hoping for that.
And I just hope that Made by Apes is going to be a big protocol on the next SportApe marketplace.
Is there something from the art side that you would like also to bring?
Because like the animation looks amazing.
I mean, Jacobo is the legend.
And I saw on the website that you were also talking about like mixing the art with innovation,
So, what's the plan in this?
So, every wine that we have, we're going to have a different label.
And so, I'm just going to use a crazy example here.
Like, let's say like Beeple, right?
Like, that's a crazy example I can go out with.
But let's say we have this really rare wine and there's only a hundred of them or something like that.
And they're only open to members-only items.
And we can sell them for a certain amount.
Then, we'll do something like reaching out to Beeple for like a limited edition.
But we have not talked to Beeple.
So, this isn't like any kind of like push for that.
But we're going to have that art from that Web3 artist.
Or maybe even not a Web3 artist.
Maybe this is an artist like on a different scale.
We're going to have that be like the partner to the wine that we give out.
And so, when you do claim the wine, you will also have this limited edition art piece.
So, like someone like Beeple or OSF or, you know, someone that we make a collaboration with.
So, it'll be the same process as the Rosé.
But the voucher will turn from a wine bottle.
And then, once you claim it, you get the art piece of the actual artist that we collaborated with.
Man, this is a fucking great idea.
Like that you can turn the wine bottle to art.
Like thinking about like the Beeple example and all this like collaborating with artists.
Like you can even take it to Christie's or Sotheby's at some point, right?
Like if you think about it this way.
And then, this is another reason for the wine.
So, the art will still be on the voucher.
It will be on the label as the wine label.
But then, once you claim it, it just becomes a static art piece or something you can put inside of a digital frame.
And it will be just like, you know, without the wine being pushed as number one, it's going to be just the art.
And that's the best thing about, you know, one of the things I love about Web3 and Twitter and everything like that is that everyone's just, everyone's so close.
You know, like if I reach out to Beeple, I may not get, I may not get a yes, but I might get an answer.
You know, like things are way different than they used to be.
So, and that's what excites me the most is like talking about art with artists that I can, that I'm so close to, not personally, but I'm just two friends away from like in Web3 space.
Like, we all know someone who knows someone.
And so, you can talk to people, you can talk to artists that you never would have had the access to in the past and see if they're into it and see what it would cost, you know.
And like, you don't have to go through like all these, all these hoops to find out if they're interested or not.
And it's also, you know, like even when you think about a smaller artist, like let's say less known right now, like we're at the beginning of the digital art.
So, I really believe that some of the people that are already in the space will be the next big names, you know, in the future.
And as you're saying, like you can already talk to them, you know, you can learn from them and you can do like collabs with them and all the stuff.
Yeah, and grow with them and everything.
Like that's one of the things that we did with Saints and Sinners.
It was, I got to talk to so many artists and like, you know, kind of creative direct my vision with their style in mind.
And they always came out so cool.
And it just, it made me closer to the artists and then them knowing who I was, like that alone for me is like really worth it.
And, you know, I love, I love talking with artists and collaborating with them.
So, this is like the perfect position for me in this, like, you know, in this, in Apevine just because I love, I love talking to these people.
Like they're so like creative and it's inspiring.
Man, a lot of premium products is not only about like the taste and, you know, like it's also about a story, right?
And it's kind of crazy that you can bring the story from the yacht club and then from the other side, you can bring the story from like a particular artist.
Let's say, you know, I'm thinking aloud, like you're in Italy, you want to have this Barolo.
Maybe there is an Italian artist who is in digital art and maybe you can work with him or her, right?
And like create even more like meaningful thing than just like a bottle of wine, if I say it this way.
So, man, there is so many opportunities.
So, it's just, it gets me really excited to just even think about just knowing what the parties might look like and, you know, just seeing everyone all together, like they're all into art, all into wine.
And it just seems so exciting.
And we're at the very forefront of it.
Yeah, we definitely really early and I think it's amazing time to start because the community support and community co-ops are actually amazing.
You know, there was an amazing meetup with IP builders in Lion's Milk some time ago.
You know, I see Popil, she was there and many other people.
So, these meetups, that's really special.
Guys, if you have any questions, hop into the comments, you can ask there.
And actually, I got one question already.
How did you get the label passed through the, and I don't know if you pronounce that, Cola, C-O-L-A rules.
So, how this actually worked, if you know it.
So, the question is how your label get passed through the Cola rules or C-O-L-A rules.
I don't know, maybe there are rules on alcohol in the US probably, you know, what you can display there.
Yeah, well, our wine, our label, our labels have to go through a process.
So, it's like, it's kind of a boring story.
They just kind of keep pushing it back until you get it right.
And they tell you, oh, this needs to be a little bit bigger.
You know, the Surgeon General's warning needs to be much bigger.
And you can't put Sonoma County twice.
You have to put, you know, stuff like that, which doesn't really make any sense.
But, you know, we just followed the rules.
And eventually, they're like, okay, it's approved.
I just got an SSP on stage.
So, SSP, if you want to hop in, go ahead.
No, congratulations, Seth, on getting that.
Because I know in the past, and when I say the past, in the last, like, 80 years of certificate of label approval rules for wines and alcohol, it's been extremely difficult to get cartoon characters approved on wine labels purely because of the age connotation.
So, when I did see the Bored Ape finally making it to the label, I went, wow.
My first thought was, how did you get this past cola?
Yeah, that's so interesting.
You know, sometimes when I start doing my, when I start doing the introduction or explainer videos, I start thinking, like, is this legal?
Because it's starting to take on a little Joe Camel, like, feel.
And I'm like, I don't know if this is appropriate, but no one's stopped me yet, you know?
And I don't know whether it's because he's less than 25% of the bottle.
So, I mean, there's also, there's some of the words I was kind of laughing at myself on here because we got LFG in there.
I'm like, I wonder if anyone's going to pick up on some of this stuff.
But, but yeah, so far, so far, so good.
And also, I should point out to my, that my partner has been doing this for a while and same as some of the wine partners that I have.
So, they've actually made it relatively simple for me as if I were just to start this on my own.
Because they just seem like they've, they kind of know the rules and the paths.
But that's a really good question.
I was thinking the same thing myself when we were going with it.
So, first of all, if I can just open up this discussion.
First, let's hope it doesn't turn into a Joe Camel issue.
If people don't remember, Joe Camel was a cartoon camel on cigarettes.
Basically, it got shut down after they, you know, were selling to kids, basically, right?
But, moving to this one, I think the answer from now on, Sepp, is saying, yes, we have the insider track on getting bored apes on wine labels.
So, if you want to get on the inside track, come through us.
Because you're going to have a tough time trying to do this on your own.
I shouldn't be giving away all my secrets.
SSP, thank you so much for clarifying it.
Because I googled, actually, what COLA is.
And it said, cost of living adjustment.
And I was a little bit confused what's happening here.
And right now, we're all going through a cost of living adjustment thanks to our crypto bags.
Sepp, you mentioned that your wine will be there.
You're going to be there, too?
Unfortunately, I've got to keep my head down and keep building.
We're not quite finished yet.
But there will be an ApeFest in Los Angeles that I know that we're working on.
But I'm going to have my teammates there at ApeFest giving away hats, you know, and stuff like that at the bodega.
And I'll be awake in Los Angeles.
Hopefully, FaceTiming in with some of you guys.
So, I won't be there personally, unfortunately.
But I will be in the Los Angeles one if any of you guys are not going to make it to Hong Kong.
So, your wine will be displayed there.
Have you actually shipped, you know, any of the bottles to, you know, maybe taste it on the site events or somewhere where people can see it?
So, if anyone's aware of the bodega that the NBA is doing, they've been so supportive.
It's just been so easy to chip bottles.
They're going to put it for view in the bodega, like within glass.
And then I sent some extra bottles so that people can sample it.
So, we're going to be at the bodega, which I think is right outside of ApeFest, if I'm not mistaken.
If it's not, then you'll know where it is.
And then every company that has a board Ape that's in NBA that is being supported by the bodega this year,
they're going to have like an hour or something to, an hour and change to show off their product and explain the product and everything like that.
So, our time is right before ApeFest.
So, it's going to be 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 4th.
So, if you're there, I assume people are going to be getting ready to get in line.
So, I figured I'd give them some free wine while they're doing that.
See if you can get a hat.
We're going to come up with some sort of rules where you got to take a photo with a hat or be the first 50 people to buy a bottle or something like that.
So, just pay attention and you can get an ApeLine hat out of it.
A light pink hat matching our fur.
Can't wait actually to do it.
It's going to be so packed.
I really love the idea of bodega, you know, that showcase.
Imagine in like 5, 10 years looking bad.
Like, this is the first ApeFest actually.
Not like presenting the product because I know in NYC that there was Bored Coffee, right?
But this is going to be like, you know, showcase of all the builders there.
And I think that's awesome.
So, how actually Made by Apes treat you?
Like, what do you like about it?
Where do you see the future of this movement?
They have been so supportive.
And I think that they're just trying to avoid the whole Bored Ape is becoming a gaming company kind of like narrative that's happening right now.
I think they really want to push like Bored Apes using their IP.
Like Bored Apes with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Like, they really have been so helpful.
I've been telling some of my friends and family here that we're going to be featured in Made by Apes, you know, in this bodega.
And they can't believe that it's happening for free.
You know, like, all we have to do is send our stuff and like, you know, fill out some Google forms and everything like that.
But they have been so helpful, so supportive.
And they haven't even tried the wine yet.
So, it's just good to have them help us, like, push our brand, you know.
It's really, really helpful to have that when you start a business.
I have to say that I also love it.
And I love that it's so much easier to connect with other builders in the space.
You know, there are a few also Twitter groups or X groups where you can chat.
You can, you know, share experiences.
You can, if you are in the U.S., or, you know, you can do meetups with all the products.
Chocolate is kind of hard to ship overseas, you know, especially in the summer.
Now it's getting easier if you're not shipping to Florida.
So, I think it's absolutely amazing.
It's like a support group and, you know, so many people in the audience here building and having Made by Apes license.
And what's great, too, is that there's room for more than one brand, you know.
Like, I don't feel like there's any kind of struggle between me and another wine brand, for example.
You know, like, I feel like everyone's really supporting each other.
There's more than enough space.
In fact, if one of us does well, all of us do well.
You know, if Ford Apes, if a certain wine brand, like, gets big, then Ape Wine's going to do better.
You know, just going to feel that way.
A certain chocolate brand for you, like, does really well, then your chocolate brand will do better, in my opinion.
You know, like, it just keeps, we just keep lifting each other up.
Like, and that's the Web3 spirit.
And I checked the Borega, and actually, you got a number four.
Number three is Mutant Grape.
So, it's a brand by Joshua.
I'm actually not sure if Baron's Ape wasn't on the bottle.
I'm not 100% sure, but maybe that was half-baked.
But that's really awesome.
How did you get that early?
I just, I remember when they were saying that, hey, let's figure this out.
And I applied, like, immediately, right, when I saw that, because I'm like, that's
This is exactly what we need.
So, I don't know whether they did it just by the first person that applied, you know,
I have it on alerts, of course.
I literally sent it right when they posted it.
So, I don't know if they just did it by first come, first serve.
But that's another thing.
Like, I think Mutant Grapes, I think the developers of that are the ones that pushed the
And they could have put me to number 300, you know, whatever.
But they put me as number four.
That was just, like, that was another way of them kind of being like, yeah, there's more
than enough room for another wine brand, you know?
So, I thought that was really cool.
Man, I can hear that you still have the experiences from the early minting, right?
And you just hit the button.
They're going to do an NBA protocol, like, and push brands that have bored apes on it?
Like, I got a brand with a million followers that's going to repost and retweet and support
Once people find out about that, I think some of these, some floor apes are just going
to be, like, taken by, like, these, by entrepreneurs and big companies that know what to do with
Like, there's so, I mean, there's so many apes and not so many people are using their
Like, if you guys are following, like, American Ape, like, his myth, his mythic quest, what
Like, it's so well done and thought out.
And I think that, you know, and he's putting so much work.
Like, I think he's putting, like, I think he sold an Ape at the beginning to continue
So, I just watch stuff like that and I'm like, this is the kind of, these are the kind
of brands that are going to shoot into the stratosphere when people start feeling it again.
And we're closer than we think, in my opinion.
But, like, you just have to build.
We actually had a first episode about IP with Ramon, you know, the American Ape and
Bored Glint, which is doing also incredible job with Bored and Board of Directors, right?
They are doing crazy, crazy job.
Like, I've seen their last announcement and it's unbelievable.
So, like, a lot of great people to learn from here in this space and do co-ops or so,
So, I think that's really something that we should be grateful for because, you know,
we are in this together and something amazing will happen.
And then something with the Bored Apes, like, every brand, like, I feel the same thing about
the Gentunes and, like, certain IPs that you own.
Like, if you just look at it enough, like, you'll be inspired to start a new company.
And, you know, like, it's just, sometimes it just, it speaks out to you.
It's like, okay, this ape, obviously, you know, let me look at your ape real quick.
Like, your ape, I don't know, maybe, like, a robot yacht club or something.
Maybe that's a bad example.
But, yeah, we're just, just use the ape and we're so blessed to have this really cool
looking ape and a whole community that comes with it.
A hundred percent, and SSP, I just wanted to say, SSP, you are a scientist, so tell us
what you're cooking, man.
Very few people realize I have a lab coat on and I'm a professor and a scientist and always
cooking things up in the lab, usually ideas and strategies.
Sepp, you know, when I saw your bottles, when you first tweeted about them, and I imagine
you've already done this, but have you reached out to the pink ladies?
I think I've reached out, I'm reaching out to anyone who's throwing a party.
But, no, I have not reached out to the pink ladies.
Because, you know, you've got that, you've got the pink fur ape, you've got a rosé, and
if you know the wine industry pretty well, you know that that target market is a certain
And it seems so perfectly fit with the pink ladies, or just even maybe the ladies of
Yeah, I think I may have hit up the ladies of BAYC, but I think I'll hit up the pink apes.
I'm not even sure if I'm following them.
I didn't know that there was a lady pink apes DAO.
I'm sure Sarah Stargirl has something to do with that, right?
Yes, and you know, you are also part of Aquamarine DAO, so, great.
I'm part of the Angel DAO, you know, like, there's lots of DAOs going on with, like, every
attribute to the apes, and, you know, I try and shill when I can without being, like, too
annoying or pushy, because when you're, like, doing, like, head-down building, sometimes
you only come into those chats to, like, shill.
It's like, I don't know, I'm not even reading the room sometimes.
I'm like, let me just, let me just make sure that, you know, no one's crying about, like,
So, Seb, you mentioned that Mint is actually during the, during the Ape Fest, is that correct?
So, it's, like, 3rd of November or something like that?
It'll be, it'll be 4th of November, we're still deciding the time, it might be right when
we open on Apevine, I'm sorry, on the bodega, which will be 4 p.m., or it might be right
after, or, you know, we, we have to come up with a time that we think will be a good
strategy, because we don't want people, like, drunk, you know, clicking links and stuff like
that, so we just want to make sure that everyone's as safe as possible during the minting process.
But, but yeah, we should be ready on November 4th, and then I think 7 hours later is the Los
Angeles Ape Fest party, where I'll be there, and I'll be drinking Apevine and giving out
samples, and hopefully selling more over there, unless we've already sold out.
I love the idea that there's going to be Ape Fest events all over the world, you know,
you mentioned LA, but I know there, there, there's going to be more, so it's going to
be a lot of fun, and also the digital experience that I, you know, I'm really curious how it's
going to look like, so a lot of stuff is happening next week, it will be insane.
I was so happy that someone is doing this, because I was just like, I can't go to Hong
Kong, and I really want to do something, you know, and I was going to think about throwing
a launch party, but, you know, we just want to, we got to focus, and then finally, someone
hit me up on the board ape, Los Angeles board apes, and just said, hey, we're having a party,
would you be interested in, you know, coming, and I was like, not only am I going to come,
I want to bring you guys, like, wine, I want to, I want to show it off, and, and be
there, for representation of Ape Plan.
Beast, I, I saw you unmuted, so if you want to add anything, go ahead.
Man, I'm just vibing now, because I checked the calendar, and I realized that it's really
next week already, because we've been talking about Ape Fest for such a long time, it's been
like, months, or maybe, like, it's been probably, like, since the last Ape Fest, right, and it's
fucking crazy that, like, next week, we're going to be already, you know, going wild and
crazy, and hanging out with all these people, and yeah, hopefully, you know, except tasting
and trying the stuff that you're cooking for us, for everyone.
I hope there's enough for the people that want to taste it.
I definitely can drink, you know, so I'm good, I'm in.
Yeah, after the last wine tasting, Beast bought a Mutant, so I think, yeah, guys, if you want
You might be right, yeah, you might be right.
If you, if you want to sell NFTs, wait for that moment, and Beast will be on shopping spree.
I want to also welcome our friend, Studio Payman.
Payman, how are you doing today?
GM, GM, or shall I say cheers, everybody?
I'm from, you know, the Bay Area, as most of you all know, proud, fan of Napa and Sonoma,
you know, so lots of great wineries there.
One of my favorites is Dariush Winery.
I don't know, Sepp, if you are familiar with them.
No, but I know the, I know the name.
I'm Persian, Persian background.
I don't speak Parsi, though.
Okay, well, you better learn.
See, there's, there's always a connection.
But yeah, I mean, I see Forever Carious, one of the awesome artists in the space and fellow
Yeah, there's a lot of opportunities with the wine industry.
And I'm excited for you guys.
And can't wait to taste, you know, the wine.
Like you said, it's something else when you taste it first and, you know, when you fall
in love, then you will get a case, probably.
So yeah, congratulations.
Yeah, I appreciate that, man.
Yeah, I appreciate that, man.
And I always love this space.
You guys did such a great job.
And I see a whole bunch of our friends down there.
You know, I think together we can build a better, you know, future for everybody.
I think this is the time to co-create and work with like-minded people.
And just, there's a big umbrella parachute here for us all to succeed.
I'm happy that, you know, you guys are back and hearing you.
I know you took a week off or an episode off, but everybody needs a break.
I want to just sort of, you know, say that if you feel like you need a break and, you know,
this place is 24-7, so unless you take a break and rejuvenate, you can't be of service to
yourself or the community.
So I often take breaks and I really appreciate everybody here.
Thanks a lot for having me on stage and cheers again.
Thank you so much for joining.
Always a pleasure to have you here, man.
Always bringing the supportive energy, the positivity, optimism.
And, man, Max Love, thank you for joining us for such a long time, man.
You guys are like brothers.
I mean, when we met in person in Miami at Art Basel, when you put together that, you know,
brunch, I met so many cool people that I, you know, hadn't met in person.
It's something else when you can look in somebody's eyes that you've met online and, you know,
give them a hug possibly.
And just, yeah, it just brings you closer together.
So I really appreciate you guys.
I appreciate everybody else.
I'm not going to take time out of your spaces.
But, yeah, adventurous ape.
I think I met her at your brunch.
Pleasure being part of this community.
And actually, you mentioned at brunch.
But, you know, if you look at Nana's ape, you wouldn't say that he's, like, the best dancer in this room.
But he actually is, you know.
I saw that with my own eyes.
Actually, speaking of that, I remember that at the Miami Ape Fest, Nana definitely can, you know, move.
Imagine his moves after, like, a few bottles of ape wine.
Like, I think that has to happen, you know.
Yeah, if you record it, I'll get you a free hat.
I think it's going to happen.
Oh, before I leave, I got to jump off.
But before I leave, I wanted to say something else, a suggestion to Sepp that I heard him, you know, sort of allude to.
And I was thinking of it, as you mentioned, you're working on a video.
I would really would love to encourage you to, even if it's, like, a 15, 20-second video, there's so many talented artists in here that you can collab with.
Because I know you probably have a lot on your plate.
But I would definitely love to see you do that before Ape Fest.
And I think it would definitely help a lot with the mint, too.
So, yeah, I just wanted to impart that.
Like, I've talked to some people I've worked with before, like Rida and everyone, like, some really talented video makers.
But the timing is just, because everyone's going to Ape Fest, you know what I mean?
Like, a lot of people are busy.
They're like, the timeline is not going to work for us because we want to get it before mint.
But, yeah, like, if I can, I always choose artists in the Web3 space.
So, if anyone has any artists that they just want to DM me, send me the link to their Twitter, like, these are the kind of connections that I love to make.
And don't feel bad about spamming me with, like, good artists.
I'll send you a couple that I know that could have a quick turnaround, too.
Maybe you can buy them a first class ticket to the Ape Fest.
And on the flight there, they can complete it.
I mean, their portfolio, I'd love to expand my horizon to people that I know on Web3 artists.
I need you to learn a couple of Farsi words right next time I hear you.
You don't want to hear the couple of Farsi words I know.
They're good ones, I mean.
I'll translate it after the show, you know, from the recording.
I'm really curious what you guys said.
Basically, we said hello to each other in seven different ways.
Whenever I teach the bad words to someone, I always say the same, right?
Like, yeah, you can go and say hi and it's something completely different.
But yeah, I love it, guys.
Thank you, Payman, for joining us on stage.
And yeah, next week will be absolutely insane.
I really wish I could go to Ape Fest.
Like, this feels so good to, like, talk and not just tweet at each other.
And, you know, I miss the New York Ape Fest because, like, I got the wrong, like, ticket
and I'm missing my flight.
And then I didn't go to Miami.
So it's been kind of, like, super annoying because, like, I've been trying to dox, you
know, but I just haven't had the opportunity.
But hopefully at LA, at the Ape Fest LA, I'll be able to show you guys my mug.
Was this your first space ever?
Yeah, this is my first space ever.
In bull market, I used to have more people in the background, but sorry, guys.
I had just three people clapping here.
They're already in Hong Kong, you know?
It's not because of the bear market.
Was trying to save it, you know?
But, Seb, you wanted to add something, so go ahead, man.
No, I think I said everything I had to say.
If there's any other questions or anything like that about anything that I'm involved
in, I'm happy to take them now.
Or, of course, anyone can hit me in the DMs.
Yeah, that was another question.
What's the best way, actually, to learn more, to connect with you guys?
Yeah, so we have a Discord from my last project.
He's one of the mods in there.
But I can be reached in there.
If we're not following each other, sometimes I check my DMs from unfollowed people and everything,
and I'll follow you as long as you're not some scam or something.
So, I mean, I'm pretty open.
And I try and open up everything I can because I understand that in this space things get
a little overwhelming and kind of confusing.
So, I'm here to clear up anything that you have so that when you mint your Apevine, you're
happy about it, you know it, and then you can also tell other people at ApeFest, you know,
SSP, do you have any more questions?
Do you want to ask something or you just want to send some ApeCoin?
I tell you, brand strategy and go-to market, especially in this hospitality kind of era
with the wines and stuff, to me, it's super interesting.
I have 100 questions, but we'll save that for another time.
And I think it goes around that whole, how do we make one plus one equals three based on
the network effects of the community?
And how can what SEP's learning and doing marry with what Meta Brewing and Board Brewing and
what Chantel is doing and all the different, let's say, alcohol beverage brands are out
How can we all kind of learn from each other to create something even bigger?
And then, while you have an MBA license, how can we do an MBA PBA, which is made by Apes,
powered by ApeCoin kind of program?
How can we kind of put that into effect?
And hopefully, SEP, stay in touch.
You know, we're working on things behind the scenes and hopefully we can all learn from
We'd love to stay in touch.
It just sounds like you're right there with me with trying to grow in the community.
So I'm with that for sure.
I think this is so important to use the network effect, right?
To work together, to share the experience, to help each other.
Because, you know, sometimes it feels like people fighting against each other, but we
Like, we want everyone win in this space because if other people win, we will win too.
So I think this is 100% away, SEP.
So thank you so much for sharing that.
And if I could just quickly point out, this is the most Aquamarines I've seen on a space
We take care of each other.
What are you talking about, bro?
Like, you pick your background when you were.
Do you have any more questions?
Do you want to ask something?
Do you want to share anything?
I will go through the comments if we have questions there or if we have just GMs, GMs, GMs and beautiful photos and beautiful showbiz there with his amazing Hero Machine t-shirt.
Thank you, Sef, for joining us today.
It's absolutely amazing that it's your first Spaces.
I had no idea that it is.
So congrats for that, I guess.
And yeah, it's really, I mean, it's amazing.
It's really interesting, like, what you're actually making, like, how to prove the authenticity of the bottles and create, like, you know, like, the art also and work with artists.
So good luck in building.
I can't wait to taste it when there's going to be the first opportunity.
And yeah, hope to see you soon, man.
Like, whether it is in LA or somewhere in the world, you know, like, the club is still small.
And, you know, we are all around the world.
You guys couldn't have made this easier for my first base.
Your excitement, the music at the beginning, it got me pumped.
So, yeah, thanks for being my first base.
You guys broke my cherry.
Good luck with the building.
You know, guys, if you want to connect with Zeb, DM him.
And yeah, this was Grateful Show 211.
After the, you know, one week break in the nature, it felt really great to be back.
It feels good to touch some grass time to time.
But man, this is much better, to be honest.
But guys, we didn't miss a week because we pre-recorded one episode.
So we're still on the streak.
And talking about the streak.
There's going to be streaking in Hong Kong.
So I think club is not going to be the same after that.
I will bring the images, the videos and everything.
So we'll share it with you.
Give us a quick thumbs up if you're going for a fast to Hong Kong.
So we know we can meet there.
Oh, where are the thumbs up?
Yeah, I know Baron's going.
He better be thumbsing up.
Maybe he's just listening on a car ride or something.
He'll save his dance for the LA party.
But yeah, it's going to be legendary.
Guys, thank you so much for listening today.
Congrats, Seb, for incredible product.
I can't wait to see Beast drinking it and doing crazy stuff after that.
See if you can get a photo of drinking from the bottle.
Yeah, I was thinking about it 100%.
That's the only way how Beast drinks wine.
And good luck with the mint.
Good luck with the production.
And yeah, let's go, guys.
We got to have another episode on Saturday with Bored Kitchen.
Another pink ape in the audience.
You really made my day, guys.
And yeah, Beast, anything else?
Yeah, I'm really looking forward for Saturday, actually.
So yeah, like tune in and hope to see you there, guys.
This was great for show 211.
Let's pump it, you know, for a few minutes.
Especially if you are in the US, you're just waking up.
Have a great Thursday, guys.
Other space FM in 27 minutes.
Let's fucking go, everybody.
