let's go good morning good morning gamers ready up for today's episode dude it's always so funny
because like i'm trying to like repost your post and i have the song in my ears and it's like oh
it's coming down to an end like i gotta get the repost out gotta do the show opening but good
morning welcome to the episode uh i'm your host icy gaming as always
running duos alongside the wolf of web 3 gaming the canine of the canines the patron of the pooches
doji payton coleva hey uh my guy how are you feeling today we're all tired we were just
talking about it before man i think like my body like with the wolf launch up to GDC, like, I think my body is just like, you need to just pump the brakes super hard. Um, and so
that was, uh, something that I, I've been trying to do for the last week. I've been trying to get
like some eight hours and all that stuff like that. I saw Leon, uh, he posts about like all
of his sleep stuff and it was like eight hours for a whole year. I was just like, geez, I need
to get on his level, especially he's so efficient with his time. So which lead are we talking about? You know,
the 16 year old or Leona Boone? No, Leona Boone. Leona Boone. He's like somebody that I highly
respect in the space. We're kind of like not in the same like circles, but just somebody that I
just kind of look from afar. I'm just like, that guy's pretty freaking cool. I bet you would be
really good friends if we were in the same circles'm just like, that guy's pretty freaking cool. I bet you would be really good friends
if we were in the same circles.
But yeah, so that's about it.
Big shout out to Leon.
He is a G for sure.
I think I met him in Token Singapore.
I think he's like a Dubai guy.
So maybe he is a Dubai guy.
Those Dubai guys.
Matt Defies is now a Dubai guy.
I miss him already.
That's one thing I do have withdrawals from is seeing you, seeing Matt, just anybody that I really care about.
Man, I miss seeing them waking up in the morning, having some bagels.
The post-GVC Wolves Den withdrawals are real.
I'm a little tired too, man.
I'm a little tired too, man.
It's nonstop out here.
It's nonstop out here.
We always say health is wealth, and yet, personally, I know I've been neglecting the gym.
Hopefully, with the new apartment that's coming down the line, we can kind of fix that.
We got to get back in shape, man.
Back in top gamer shape, you know?
Just mentally, it's really good.
I think that's maybe why I'm also tired. Last week, my wife just forced me out to, I just mentally, it's like really good. I actually like, I think that's
maybe why I'm also tired is like last week, my wife just forced me out to the gym and she was
nice. You're going, I was like, all right, cool. Cause I did promise her like after like this huge
sprint of everything that I was just going to be like, all right, you know, I'm coming back and
I'm trying to be more of a, a dad, a father and a husband. So it was one of those things. It's just
like, she wanted me to start getting back in there. gotta get back to it well you look good regardless man you too uh
that gg hoodie always slaps i'm repping my gamified merch yes i have the black one as well too but i
packed it up somewhere yeah it's some dude i bought i bought all three when uh sam watched
them but there was something with with my credit card or whatever.
So the order never fulfilled.
So I got them delayed or whatever.
But I got them last week.
And, dude, I've been loving them, man.
They're so comfortable.
So big shout out to Sammy Steff for that one.
Big shout out to AE.
We're getting a ripped icy before TTA.
That's what I'm talking about, baby.
Well, that means he has seven years.
And La La, of course, I miss you, buddy.
Of course, of course.
La La, I don't know if you heard me say on one of the previous episodes, but one of my
favorite things or like pieces of content that I did was you touring the merch booth
and talking about the merch at the den.
So, big shout out to you, brother.
You already know.
We love you, Lao Lao.
Peyton, we got a big episode today.
Maybe like one of the biggest episodes that we've ever done.
In terms of Web3 Gaming, huge, huge moment off the grid.
Gun Token has launched.
It is live.
It's over like a billion dollars fully diluted value.
I think, you know, because the float is so low, the market cap is like 68, 70 million,
something like that.
We're going to dive into that.
We've been compiling a bunch of takes on the timeline as people react and respond to the
Guns launch.
But we also got, I mean, your boy Gaming Daily over here,
tons of game updates from last week.
I don't know how Web3 Gaming could be dead Peyton
with all of these insane, crazy launches, updates, like shipping.
There's so much happening in the space.
It's wild.
It's beautiful.
It's chaotic.
It's beautiful. It's beautiful. There's, it's beautiful. It's a lot.
No, there is a lot. I would say that like, you know, when it comes down to it, a lot of people
just don't want to also like look in this direction, but that's also where like, you know,
for us, that's where we want to build a business because I think that's why we get motivated so
much. I think a lot of people from a surface level, they see like all these studios shutting
down and that's totally like, you know,
valid in terms of being sad.
And you're like, oh man,
Web3 Gaming is definitely dead.
Like it's definitely not as vibrant as it used to be.
On the, underneath the water,
there's a lot of people kicking.
We saw them a lot at GDC,
but also like their socials are also like,
you know, they probably don't get as much likes
or reactions and all that stuff.
That's why you got to follow Gaming Daily.
Not like every single one of your episodes and you do put them out there daily is literally like
a lot you know when it comes to to the uh stuff and weekly news here for uh ready up is obviously
disgustingly large so yeah dude like i'm like it's it's so tough to cut down because it's like
well how are you not going to talk about forgotten playland launching on, on Epic or, you know, what's going on in Ronin on open C it's
like, there's so much happening. It's, it's crazy, but it's, uh, and it's exciting. Like you said,
I think like part of it is just, you know, the market sentiment just being so down.
Right. Uh, and this just being one of the most difficult cycles that we've ever seen in, in, you know, if you're a Bitcoin, Ethereum, you know, crypto guy,
it's like, you know, fundamentally we've never been in a better place,
but like not many people have gotten rich.
Like we all expected to be rich at this point and we're not.
So it's just, it's a little bit tougher.
Yeah. Proof of work.
You know what I mean? That's what we're doing. We tougher yeah proof of work you know i mean that's what
we're doing we're doing proof of work in a lot of capacity so uh again i want i want to be uh
for this space for a long time so i don't mind it at all 100 well with that said uh let's let's
shout out the comments and then we'll shout out the sponsors and we'll get into the meat and
potatoes of today's show i just want to give a special shout out to jorge the gaming strategist king snooch
ae ae knows about what it takes to make the daily videos he helps me curate the topics every single
day and we just like belabor like you know going through all the research but a big shout out to
you brother um thank you guys for tuning in uh happy happy gun launch day. Big shot to BLEAM.eth. Let's go, let's go.
Speaking of the sponsors that make this show possible,
dude, you see the Peyton's hoodie, man.
Open C, GG.
Dude, almost nobody puts Open C gaming on the map
like Open C does.
So you got to give them a lot of credit
and a lot of love and praise.
Open C 2 beta being live guys if you're not using it you need to because there if you haven't seen what's
happening with these shipments shipments are kind of like their loot boxes and their ability to like
kind of like you know reward you and retrospectively reward too. That was really cool about them. It was just like, they had these people that were, Oh, wait, did I lose Peyton? Is it me? Am I lagging? Is Peyton
lagging? Oh no. What happened? Someone let me know in the comments. Is it me? It might be me.
check check he froze for us too he froze for us okay so i'm here all right well retrospectively
uh we'll wait for peyton to come back uh good thing that we're on the shipment container
um and oh peyton's that's a blue screen of death. One sec. We'll be back. Okay. Well,
let me tell you guys about OpenSea. No, these shipments are really dope. If you bought an NFT
through their beta period and held it, apparently you've got one of these shipments available for
you, which I actually like need to go see if I have that because I bought some Sugartown Aura NFTs
that I've held up until this point. And I think I've got a shipment crate, which is really,
really cool. Let me try to present this screen here, share my screen. And we're going to go to
OpenSea. Time for the collectors. Use the new OpenSea Mint, the collection for GameTalk.
Absolutely, my guy.
Bear with me as I try and share this here.
But Peyton's like the owner, so I don't know if that is sharing.
I don't think it.
It doesn't look like it's sharing.
I'm a fish out of water without my co-host payton uh mainly because i'm just not logged
into stream yard uh let's see why can't i stop the screen all right we're just gonna go back
to me and there he is i'm sorry no you're brother. Nothing you can do about it. Again, I'll go on my phone.
But that's rough.
It happened in my office had some power outages.
My computer might be fried.
So that's not fun.
But anyways, where are we at, brother?
No, I was still just talking about OpenSea.
Trying to share the screen, but I think I'm not logged into stream yard so i couldn't like change the uh the layout um
i was saying i was like i'm a fish out of water without painting
here let me uh let me remove that and i'll figure it out um sorry about that
you're good you're good uh and other openc news while we get the the layouts uh situated uh ronan
ronan launched on open c open c nfts are now supporting ronan they were the day day one uh
top volume collection which was incredible big shout out to ronan and open c uh for that um
it's a new era.
There was like, I don't know if you guys saw,
there was like a little bit of drama on the timeline over the weekend.
Yeah, about like Beanie and all that stuff in terms of that.
It's hilarious.
I mean, he just aren't completely down.
And he just like, I think he just largely engagement farms.
It did lead to, which like I don't like, but at the same time, it always leads don't like but at the same time it always leads to
really good discussion at the same time i i don't like it because it forces like builders like jiho
to spend their time explaining to beanie why this is amazing uh yeah whenever i talk to him in
singapore he knows that's part of his job like he uh he knows that like you know there needs to be
somebody forward facing in terms of that aspect of things.
And they have a whole bunch of people behind the scenes working on, you know, obviously
Ronin has that luxury to have somebody like Jiho for such a high level person to understand
web three as well as the Ronin ecosystem and be able to engage in a very like intellectual
So definitely, um, understands the assignment, but at the same time, I get your point as well.
Yeah. Yeah, no. And they're fantastic about it. But big shout out to OpenSea. I mean,
just doing everything, right? Speaking of like Gunzilla and the gun launch, right? I think
Guns is like the ninth blockchain that OpenSea is supporting. So all of your off the grid skins
are going to be directly tradable on OpenSea as well.
Very thankful for that.
Absolutely incredible.
I mean, they've just always been forward-thinking and forward-supporting of gaming.
Even last week when Forgotten Rooneyverse launched, OpenSea changed their PFP to a wizard,
like a wizard with the OpenSea logo for like half a day or something.
Yeah, shout out to Hugo in the comments. Yeah. Forgotten Rooneyverse and everything like that just launched. wizard with the i love that open c logo for like you know half a day or something so just yeah
shout out to hugo in the comments yeah uh forgotten rooney reverse and everything like that just
launched uh their open uh beta and yeah i need to play yeah we're definitely gonna talk about that
in the the the later show big shout out to you can forward thinking like these guys uh we also
gotta thank zai the world's first layer three solution for AAA gaming
powered by Offchain Labs' Arbitrum Technology. If you went to the Arbitrum booth at GDC,
half of the games were like Zy games. You absolutely love to see it. They're doing an
amazing job. And Raijin is live with early access. can connect your steam account and start getting uh on-chain
achievements and rewards through the rise in ecosystem this is like their zyplay i don't know
if you guys um uh were familiar but zyplay basically rebranded to rise in and everything
that they're doing uh with the steam account and everything is now officially Ryzen.
At one point, they were going to do a little bit with the AI kind of platform,
but they went all in with Ryzen and the Steam access.
I think it's hard whenever you're competing with XAI.
So when it comes down to it, I love the rebrand and everything like that
and also love the rebrand that they're focusing on purely like games.
And I got a whiff of this from Storming,
even live at the Wolves Den.
He signed up for a Ryzen account.
He got in.
There is a game on Tolan Universe that's going to be coming out,
I think tomorrow.
I don't know if that's alpha.
But when it comes to that aspect of things,
it's kind of like Vampire Survivors.
Well, the one thing about Ryzen has like,
hey, if you play Vampire Survivors,
if you purchase it for $5 or whatever,
you can start getting like this type of like points
and everything like that.
And I kind of like their publishing model
and we'll see if it works out and everything like that.
But it actually is rewarding people
that actually want to play actual games.
And yeah, I enjoy it.
Yeah, King Snooch.
I think they call it just Tollan survivors um you can find it
at tolan universe shout out to michael um fun fact i've known i've known him for almost three years
now yeah it's your award show i met him at your award show yeah yeah and uh really cool to see
their continued work in the space and everything like that so big shout out to them big shout out
to zai and openc for making this show possible uh i don't think we need to cover the markets
because the markets are just yeah the markets are marketing uh but let's get only cover it when it's
good all right guys exactly i don't want i don't want to think about how bad down my bags are.
But let's talk about Guns, man.
Guns is live. It launched at just under $1 billion FDV.
I think it's up 13%, 15% last time I checked on the first hour of trading.
Now, of course, low flow high fdv so there's only six percent
of the supply available right now and that gives it about a market cap of um you know 60 70 million
something like that let me pull up coin market cap and get the exact numbers right now. We are at, yeah, 60 million market cap and 1 billion FDV.
Notably, a lot of the supply went to the Binance launch pool stakers who are totally mercenary,
right? We probably expect them to sell. So, you know, not a ton of supply is
available. Um, but by and large, I mean, I don't think I expected to see gun at a billion dollars
FTV. Um, I think Jesus was talking about over the counter was around 600, yeah, 500 to 600
million market cap, you know, his, uh, assignment. So shout out to, uh, Jesus, uh, Martinez, uh, like he, I think he, uh, recommended like 800 to 1 billion FTV. So it's around that.
Yeah. Well, so yeah, really, really crushed it on that one. Um, I mean, I don't know,
does anyone need an explainer of like what, what gun is? I mean, it's the first AVAX L1 to get a
Binance listing, which is absolutely massive. Uh, it's the first AVAX L1 to get a Binance listing, which is absolutely massive.
It's the first like Web3 gaming token on Binance in quite some time, like maybe over a year.
Of course, this is, you know, the in-game token for off the grid. It's also the currency for
their L1, which is going to be, you know, the guns mainnet. Um, let's talk about that for a second,
Peyton. So mainnet looks to be live. Um, and of course, before we get to mainnet, I mean,
testnet has been live for quite a while. We've covered it. Uh, we've talked about it. Um,
it's massively successful. Almost 15 million wallet addresses have signed up to this point, 14.7
million. 22.8 million blocks have been produced, almost 500 million transactions. They're doing
like 278,000 transactions a day on Testnet. Of course, we're going to hopefully see all of that transition over to
mainnet. You can find the mainnet. It is gunsscan.io. Looks like there's a beta right now.
And actually the past two days or the past day, we've had over 5,000 transactions,
which is up from like, it was averaging about 200 transactions per day
um since they kind of like soft launched it or quietly launched it i guess um so mainnet is is
live and looks like you know there's some transactions going on it which is going to be
crazy yeah i think king snooch says how does it incorporate in the game is same as the guns you
earn in the matches i believe so um as well but they're switching from testnet to mainnet none of that's going to
carry over from like the guns that's why a lot of people are carrying over the assets in which that
they have um so that's something that like a lot of people are doing especially like people that
are doing like the nft or holding the nfts uh like we should act like nodes but like i put nodes in
very hard parentheses um or quotations or whatever it worked the right
term is just for the fact that like the nodes don't act like traditional nodes which is like
you know typical like logmorphic uh type of thing where like you get some of the token like every
few days or a few months or whatever uh it's kind of like more of like bitcoin where like people use
it for like hash and stuff so it's a little weird when it comes down to it but also note that they did this like
four years ago so whenever nodes weren't really established in terms of the definition uh so when
when it comes down to it a lot of the nodes and a lot of the validators that are going to be
currently doing this uh work more of like proof of work but like they're just nfts it's really weird
when it comes down to it but yes uh in terms of like gun and everything like that uh how they earn it in the game i'm not too
sure how they're gonna be able to do it or there's gonna be some type of like vesting mechanism in
which that like you play the game or you can only uh i guess export your token out after a certain
time i don't know uh that that's still kind of to be determined. Yeah. Credit to the team. I think
that they have been very intentional about the amount of information that they've released
around really only releasing what they need to and what people need to know. I think a lot more
of this information will come over time. I did see like Theo, for example, because people had
questions, right? Like, well, what do I have to do with my guns, tokens, and my skins before mainnet launches and before we make this, you know, this
transition? And Theo is like, don't worry, like we'll make announcements ahead of time. You guys
will know what to do, but like, you know, basically not answering the question yet. So, you know,
a lot of this will be released over time. Speaking of the nodes, Peyton, we do have a really good breakdown from
Grail just kind of on the launch. Everyone's kind of reacting. We're reacting to this in real time.
So far, it seems so good, which is great. But one of the things that Grail pointed out
in his post is that none of the gun nodes holders, like, you know,
we didn't get any tokens on TGE.
There's no airdrop as far as I'm aware of.
He is hearing that maybe there's going to be a 1.5 staking rewards,
not counted at the reset. So we'll see how like the value transfers there.
But he says like,
not node buyers didn't benefit today.
Um, he did say that, uh, maybe the kale kale well round had the biggest unlock. I didn't know there
was a kale all around. So I think the only one that out of our KOLs that, that did it was, um,
uh, hustle. I think that's the only one that, that did it did it. And yeah, it's a fairly good valuation
comparatively to where it is now. Nice. Amazing. I did buy a node last year,
so I do have a node. Yeah, same for me. I haven't set it up to be honest. I have no idea.
Dude, you should have been. I've probably faded there. But yeah, this is, again,
really good take from Grail here. He talks about the projections over
the next 24 months, basically saying there's going to be a lot of sell pressure as all the
private sale and no investing comes out. He does suspect that the team will try and control
the supply for the first three to six months to keep the price high. And he mentions this launch being a managed launch in the sense of low float to Binance. And
they're really trying to set themselves up for success here and have a good launch. I mean,
so much of the space is looking to this launch as an indicator for, you know, the health of
Web3 Gaming and, you know, an outlook on future investing into the space. You know, the days
leading up to this launch, everyone had a take on it on the timeline. I know you had a contrary take
to that, Peyton. But like, you know, with this said, right. What are your first kind of
reactions to the launch this morning? I mean, we're still kind of processing it, but seeing
things on the timeline, seeing how it's gone down so far, seeing the $1 billion FTV, you know,
how does that strike you? Yeah, I think when it comes to the 1 billion FTV, like, congratulations,
you know, it's hard because like the fact that there's such low float it's kind of very easy to manipulate to some degree especially when you have binance there's a
lot of uh people that like at least for us uh are like not such big name brands because they got
binance they like shot up on day one right um zai one of our sponsors being one of them like a saga
being another there's a lot of ones that you know know, Binance really had a very big buff, uh, when it came down to it. Uh, and it
being one of the first, like, I think it was the first, I think Coop said the first ever, um,
AVAX, AVAX, AVAX, AVAX, L1, uh, ever launched on, on Binance, uh, I think is like really good.
I think there's like, to be honest like gunzilla has
surprised me in terms of like lining up announcements so i think they have a lot to
be able to have in their treasury uh from announcements like game informer was one
thing that just kind of came out of nowhere right which was like freaking sick uh game informer has
a huge like specific um nostalgic feeling for at least me and I think my demographic
of people as gaming growing up.
And that's the demographic that they're trying to go.
Adult Fortnite type of Apex type of ones that are like Cairo and Inhuman growing up older,
me growing up.
There's a whole bunch of ones and Game Informer is one of those things.
And so they kind of know their target demographic really well.
But when it comes down to the valuation, the $1 billion valuation, you're able to do a few
things like over the counter and everything like that for the next three months to be able to
increase your runway. So when it comes down to it, I think there's a lot of capacities of launching
a token, having a very small valuation. What a lot of people intakes that are not really mentioning is like how tokens work
on the back end uh which is like hey if you have a high fdv uh you can do over the counter based
off of a lower valuation in that with higher with lower all right with more uh vesting right so the
higher your fdv is or the higher your specific token prices uh the better it is for you to be
able to do some like over-the-counter specific ones to increase your runway. So the low float, high FDV works very well for a high burn
rate of like a company like Godzilla, right? And also be able to have leverage over partnerships
as well. So that's one of those things that a lot of people are not really talking about.
In terms of a short term, I get what people are saying in terms of like low float high ftv uh i also get what grail's saying in terms of the
stakers and all that stuff to be honest i think a lot of people that bought these nfts just bought
them just for the fact that there was a lot of hype on the timeline for them never actually
understood it but also like you know gunzilla has not been like super forward on like the all the
nfts that they've had too right so like so when it comes down to it it's like it's probably a little bit of responsibility on both but a lot of these node
node people were just buying it just for the sake of buying it they weren't even probably even if
given the information which i've i was asked a lot of questions to theo and that's where i felt like
hey i'll i'll buy some um a lot of people didn't they just were like hey this game is freaking
fun and looks sick it's like the first AAA game. That's what we'll do.
So I think it's bullish for a team of that caliber having that much leverage over people and be able to sell.
Obviously, they've shown that they can sell well.
They have Delphi Digital.
They have a whole bunch of people in their corner.
I think they did what they needed to do at this launch.
And so I think they're going to execute very well, uh, in the next three months because
of this launch.
Um, I think anything like probably lower than that, it would have been really rough, uh,
for them to be able to go after other specific money.
Um, yeah, all of those points are really well said.
I agree with that.
If they didn't launch at a billion dollars, then it's like it's probably or just like super high. It has to be an impressive number that justifies like maybe their raises and some of the other things that they've done.
I mean, this is hopefully a win for them.
It's definitely a win in the short term, and hopefully it's a win in the long term if they can maintain that.
You mentioned Delphi Digital, and we do have this post from Pierce, one of the founding partners of Delphi Digital, who is a super bull for off the grid.
And here he makes the case for Gunn.
And I think that he lays it out really, really well one of their main thesis is for off the grid is that
And I think that he lays it out really, really well.
it's going to be the next axie um you know not everyone thinks the axie is going to be the next
axie shout out to ronan and everyone and actually they're crushing it also one of their mythic axes
just sold for like 43 000 we'll talk about that in the game updates no shade to axie but uh a lot
of these nft specific sales popping out of nowhere like yeah huge ones yeah one from
yours truly dub so it's we gotta talk about that man you know dub's got it like that but
pierce makes the case for uh gun uh give you just some of the the tldr here right gunzilla's done
the hard thing right they've delivered a world-class game capable of competing in the big
leagues relentless updates that payton just spoke about.
I mean, really, they've shipped so, so much.
Mainstream gamers are seeing the value of on-chain economies in marketplaces for the first time.
Shout out to whoever clipped that shroud clip.
10X subscriber.
10X with I and starts to end with Icy.
You know, he lays out the bull case for like 10x subscriber growth and otg will be a top five
crypto app by on-chain revenues really breaks this down i encourage you guys to read this article
um already saying that you know their top 10 chain by daily active addresses and transaction count
all those hexes baby one by one brother uh battle passes and all kinds of stuff. Well, that's the thing too, right? They've got real revenue from the battle passes.
Yeah. Um, and yeah, just saying that gun lies at the heart of the industry's, uh, clearest
mainstream onboarding prospect. Um, I want to ask you Peyton, like, you know, it really feels like
off the grid has laid one of the, one of the best blueprints for how to go to market, uh, and how to,
yeah, plan out their marketing beats and have a great game and a great thesis and, and, and like
a good economic design, right. With how the token is used, how the hexeses work how the on-chain economy is designed um how do you feel
about that like is this the playbook that other people should be taking inspiration from although
like we all know it's really hard to do it's hard to it's very expensive right over a hundred
million dollars has gone into development and launch of this game. Uh,
we don't have the exact numbers of course, but like, can anyone do, can anyone else do this?
And I don't know if this is, but if this proves to be like the successful way to do it, you know,
should, shouldn't other people be doing this? How do you think about that?
I think, uh, you know, off the grid, I think I just hear a lot of builders kind of screaming
out through the screen saying, say this is like, it's, they just have a lot of money.
So when it comes down to it, like they have a lot of money, they have a lot of staff,
uh, that they're able to, to do this.
Um, I know they might seem a little bit smaller because like, you know, Theo is kind of the
only guy that touch touches web three, but they're, you know, they seem a little bit smaller because like you know Theo is kind of the only guy that touch touches web 3 but they're you know they're 100 plus employees in building this like
world-class game so not everyone has the luxury of doing so not everyone has the luxury of paying
like these very expensive streamers to do so too like theirs is very expensive what I did like what
you said though I see is like, you know, should they wait?
Because I think one thing that OTG did do
was wait until their game was ready, right?
And that was like five, six years.
And we were kind of seeing that
with Raven Quest as well, too.
And so Raven Quest is just
probably going to be launching their TGE
here soon this week, too.
And it's kind of quite the opposite.
It's more of a cult-like following
that has happened with Raven Dawn
transferred over to Raven Quest. But like off the grid
really made some massive noise right on the scene. And so I think it's very difficult to
replicate what they have. The things that are replicatable, which is like what you said about
like having a game that's very fun and very attractive to be able to play and have that ready first,
to then be able to launch a token into it. I think that's a very fantastic way to be able to,
I guess, mature the industry when it comes to a lot of ways. In terms of that, I agree. But I
think everything that they've done, very hard to duplicate from another typical business.
How about yourself? What do you think? No, I'm inclined to agree. Yeah. I don't want to be unfair to teams that don't have the budget of
off the grid, right? I think to Sovereign's point, he echoes what you're saying. Quest from Raven
Quest will show us a different way that TGEs can find success. We have on-chain heroes doing a ton of great work in that space. So I
think this is not the end-all be-all. However, when it comes to this whole triple A narrative
and the high investments, all these games that have raised and teams that have raised a ton of
money, I mean, I think of Illuvium, which may be an unfair comparison because in their defense, they were first-time game developers.
But I also think of Bored Apes and Other Side.
They were valued at $4 billion at one point.
So they had all the money in the world to do something like this.
to do something like this. And clearly I think, you know, the, the design decisions
in some of their thesis, um, so far has proven, uh, not to be correct. Uh, so I do think credit
to the off the grid team in, in their thinking, in their approach. Um, I really think that they've
maybe have a little bit of lightning in a bottle in the sense of designing this so intentionally well and thoughtfully and, um, yeah, take it, taking
a really impressive, impressive approach.
So like, you know, I was one of the people that just bought a node because I'm like,
Oh, these guys seem, seem to seem to get it and, uh, and seem to be a team to bet on.
I also think that with their level of... I think people are so focused on OTG, right?
And that's totally fair.
But I've known a couple builders as well
that have been approached by the gun team.
So when it comes down to it,
there is also other specific capacities and other
things that like they're not just purely focused on otg um which you know hey if the shoe fits it's
really it's a really fun game right yeah but you know does one game have we witnessed the one game
can carry uh one billion ftv it's very very hard to do right um you know with the money that they
have and so again i think that they have other
things in which that they can do. If they can be a L1 in which that attracts the level of quality
for it, they obviously probably have the network of people to be able to come and bring people
to build on their chain and everything like that. And so there's also the tech stack of like, how easy is it to duplicate their marketplace?
That is really cool to have,
bring indie games and all that stuff.
So I don't know yet.
You know, so if that's,
if that is the case though,
then in people are using gun token
as their ecosystem token
for more of a publishing type of way.
They have gaming for now, right?
So like, there's a lot of aspects in my opinion
that they are probably going to have different angles for
that they're just kind of keeping close to their chest.
But if I'm them, you know, hypothetically speaking,
I have Game Informer,
which is like a very huge publishing specific arm.
They'll probably do something with that IP,
with, you know, PR and all that kind of stuff.
Maybe bring other games that are probably
not in Web3, probably put like Web2 and put them into the mechanism of like what their, you know,
I guess their infrastructure is that they use to OTG. Because I will say their marketplace is
pretty freaking smooth, right? Now you're also connected to one of the biggest OpenSea marketplaces
in the world, NFT marketplaces. So now you don't have to really worry about, you know, marketplace specific, uh, type of things. It's already integrated into guns
chain. So they're very compelling from a BD standpoint. And we have learned that they're
fricking good at BD feel my boy. Um, and they're very well connected. So I just, I just don't,
I think a lot of people are seeing it through the lens of OTG um yeah and
I'm somewhat kind of like I definitely think it's great but I think it's like I think it's just a
magnet for excellence um so um and then uh King Snooch I do you think the big push with Ninja
when the game was not optimized was the right move Peyton I think it's how you look at it if
you look at it through my capacity I think it's another magnet for excellence is like oh shoot
these guys can actually get these have all the connections, right? So I've been working as a connector now
for two years in the space, like a very heavy connector, that specific things like you just
can connect to the right people. And them being able to get to ninja, be able to get to all these
streamers that are very hard to get to very difficult to be able to purchase
game informer to be able to do all this specific stuff it's very difficult task i don't think a
lot of people understand it it's just like oh yeah well you just offer them enough money i know
there's a lot of people that probably pursued game informer um to be able to purchase that ip
but there's only one person that got it and that was gunzilla it might have been a lot of money
but they also had to you know sell that ip that IP. Um, so I don't know.
Ladies and gentlemen, that is why Peyton is the wolf of web three gaming. Such great points,
man. Um, I, I love so much of what you said. Um, cause yeah, two things stick out to me,
what you just said and, and they contrast each other. Right correct like a billion dollars for one game even though it is like an incredible game like that's such a high valuation like what other kind of comps do
we have there and i think of like parallel um like parallel has you know wayfinder and colony
and you know sanctuary and is like building out this whole ecosystem where it's like, we don't have that yet with Godzilla. Um, but to your point, I never even thought of them being a
potential publisher in that realm, which is really, really interesting and compelling. Uh, so
as always, I think, you know, time, time we'll have to wait and see. I think, um, uh, the question
that I have, right. And a lot of people had on the timeline is like
so much weight was being put onto Off The Grid's launch as this kind of being a make
or break moment for Web3 Gaming, investing, and the space.
And to your point, and I'd like to hear your take, and I'm sure like inside you're like,
yeah, the builders are screaming out like, you know, dude, it's not about one game.
And the tech is inevitable regardless of the success of one or two games or some investments or whatnot.
But yeah, I'm just curious, you know, now that the launch has happened, you put a take out over the weekend saying like, you know, short term, like it just doesn't matter.
Like we can have takes and be talking heads on,
on the timeline all we want. I love being a talking head, but, um, but yeah, just curious,
no, now that we have the token launch, you know, do you still feel that same way? And what do you,
what do you say to the people that are like, man if if guns isn't a success then the space is
cooked yeah i just think that like gun and i try to be a little bit more tactful in my last answer
i'll be very forward on this one it's like a gun is gun right like otg is otg like no one can
duplicate what they did like in a lot of capacities, it is very difficult.
Maybe Supervive if they come over to Web3,
where their game is almost fully done.
I just don't really see another specific game being able to duplicate what they can do,
which means that the playbook isn't really a playbook.
It's like, hey, I'll take some notes here and there,
but I don't have a lot of money to spend on ninja ninja probably would never like do this it's also
probably what that was my kind of like my end point on the last one is just like there is a
lot of capacities in which that like gun if i'm a person that has a game and like i look at gun
and i can see like possibly a publishing route then yeah for sure i'm looking at gun is possibly
the avenue in which that they can get all these people from me but like i'm actually looking at like raven
quest i'm actually looking at bornless i'm actually looking at all like bear a snake in terms of like
forgotten rooney i'm looking at all these specific ones that like have a more duplicatable playbook
that can this work right can this like web three specific one work
and so like it's so weird for me that like a lot of my friends um and people that i respect on the
timeline say like this is make or break because it's like well it's not even duplicatable anyways
so like why are we why are we putting so much like stock into like this one game it's not
duplicatable because we still want them to win so it gives us
more attention but i think once that attention comes they're just like oh wait there's no one
like otg other than otg yeah there's no one like otg you know what i mean so it's just like makes
it makes no sense to me um but i totally get it i get like in terms of like attention and all that
stuff that what that ended up happening to axie and that's what got me in is like axie blew up and then there was like this super big attention and then people like started
to do stuff and then vcs started to go in um so if anything though i don't see the vcs being like
hey i'm going to point at people that are currently building in web3 and give them money i'm going to
give like these super gigantic like web2 people that have published something in the past more
money which we've already seen how that works, right? Like it doesn't really work very well, at least from the short term.
And so I just don't really understand that specific point. I just, I don't know, maybe I
just like have been not been on the timeline and been through the blender enough to get everyone's
specific thoughts on it. But like my very individual opinion being kind of separated
from everybody on the timeline for a while because of wolves den and wolf and everything just like i just don't i don't get it um there's a lot of
specific ones and i i kind of outlined that as well too like you still have maple story and e
frontier who have like like combined between between them like they have like 50 years of
experience of like working on in real game economies um and like they have yet to like
launch and they're taking their sweet-ass time
because they have money.
And that's their own money, not anybody else's.
So I don't know. I just see that.
I see Raven Quest fully launching
their specific MRPG, and they
are fully owned by the studio.
That's dangerous.
You know what I mean?
To have a fully-owned studio that
can do whatever the frick they want.
I don't know.
I don't know, Peyton.
I think you're on one today.
Whatever you put in your coffee or water this morning.
Yeah, I did a Celsius today.
Yeah, the Celsius is working, man.
Big shout out to Bear Snake in the comments.
Love you showing some love.
Big Oliver Maroney stopping by.
Appreciate you saying, yeah, fair points.
And Peyton was over here in
conversations. No, man. I mean, it's so well and good. I think how I take what you said, Peyton,
is as someone who is chronically online and on the timeline, it's so easy to get caught up in
all of the takes and all of the noise. But this is why you are who you are and why i love working with you so much and and have so much respect for you you're able to kind of see the
forest through the trees and and tune out a lot of that noise uh and have your your unique uh
perspective and and and you know i don't know stay stay calm and game on, but like from a, from a thesis driven
standpoint.
So, um, that's amazing.
Hot take Peyton, although very sharp, it makes a good point.
Um, the last thing I, we can kind of close out the OTG topic here.
We've been going for almost 30 minutes.
I've been yapping.
I want your, I want your take to be honest, you know, in terms of like OTG and everything.
No, I, I mean, I'm a, I'm a super fan boy.
I love it. I think i'm cheering for them uh i it makes me super proud super proud as a web3 gamer uh i think
this was my take like six eight months ago when they started making noise i didn't think that we
would get to this point so soon in web3 gaming um i'm you know a perma bull in that web three gaming. Um, I'm, you know, a perma bull in that web three gaming is inevitable.
And I always foresaw things like this happening, right? The super smart people, the well-funded
people, uh, putting web three gaming on their back and driving it forward in the ways that it needed
to be forward, uh, uh, uh, pushed forward. Um, so I, I thank all, all uh you know oliver and open c and off the grid and theodore
and uh and delphi digital and bear snake and the builders who are doing the the hard work right i
just i have an easy job where i just talk about the news and and you know post on the timeline
um but like i'm proud i'm proud to be here at this point i'm proud that we have a game
that i can show my friends and be like yo jump in here let's play yeah like oh hey do you know that
you know you know nfts that you're like not a big fan of well hey you know that gun that you got
that you're like you know that hex that you worked hard for that you love like that's these are on
i can get it to my node and more people being on chain is is um is the goal
yeah and i think that like off the grid and guns the main net and test net are bringing more people
on chain which is super sick so i'm rooting for them uh but like really i'm just like a bystander
kind of just watching uh and taking notes um now payton the big question is do you think we get an airdrop
do you think like how do you how do you think how do you think they navigate the web three
side of things over the next 12 months i don't think anything happens in the short term i don't think they do and preferably i don't like
to does otg pro get like you know more guns that's already happening right maybe in terms of that
aspect of things of like active specific participation in the specific ecosystem gets
you like a higher amount or like gives you a multiplier if like you played quite a bit or
like you know you know try to facilitate like ecosystem rewards by like,
hey, if you play with this set or whatever, you know, you get like bonus specific ones
or challenges like daily quests or whatever being like a tie to financialization.
I think there's a lot of cool things that you could do, right? But I don't think we get an
airdrop in my opinion. And personally, I don't know if like we airdrop, in my opinion.
And personally, I don't know if we want to.
Because if it is, it's a clean break.
It's a clean break to the norm,
and it's being done by such a major party that other people could be like,
well, if OTG doesn't do it, I'm not going to do it.
You know what I mean?
So yeah, do we do our dailies?
Not yet, Jaxie.
I need to right after this.
Probably my computer broke down because i was updating otg uh but he's a real gamer on this show
payton was like are we playing and i'm like no i want to talk about it like let's look at tweets
let's look at this like dude let's get in and play let's let's let's stream so maybe the stream
will come a little bit later my game uh i don't know i gotta update something like yeah i know you're having issues with it too
though right like yeah but from uh that standpoint last i guess last point is that like uh there's a
lot of gamers such as kyra and all that stuff that talked about optimization that got really
a huge update um so i'm excited also not, you know, optimization means also I get crushed more.
So, yeah, I mean, yeah, dude, we didn't even talk about their new content pack that they
West Cole.
They're just doing so much.
It's so impressive.
The Game Informer purchase, like we could do a whole, you know, hour deep dive into that,
what that means, why they did it, how they did it.
So great to have game informer back i mean they brought
the you know full original editorial team back uh game you know and they're like i'm i'm in there's
there's so much there um but we do i've got a bunch of game updates that if we have time i want
to speed run through yeah let's get it we do have have time. But yeah, I mean, just congratulations off the grid.
Thank you, Theodore. Thank you, everyone that's doing it.
I know that Jonah is going to be working on his thoughts and he's going to post something before Simplified.
Surely they'll be talking about it on Simplified later today.
They'll have more time to kind of process the launch.
We'll see how things go.
Oliver looks like they're playing on avalanche
on thursday which is amazing oh i'm down so oliver call me brother i'm ready to go uh i'm
definitely i'm definitely down yeah it sounds like off the grid's never been in a better place
which is really exciting oh they got like real players and stuff like that too it's like if you
you should have saw i was like playing i was like a couple weekends ago or something like that right before uh the hyper x arena uh where we won uh
sixth place i'm not gonna lie um you know out of 20 guys out of 20 uh and it was uh really cool to
to see one of the people that were like on my team was like dude what the frick are these roadrunners
i was like oh yeah on my wake and then they're like what the frick yeah dude there's a lot of
like oh wow moments and everything like that and there's new players in the game too the game is just so cool man and
like uh yeah credit to them cairo just posted a clip over the weekend of him being the terminator
with the maxi gun arm thing yeah and like the bicep for the arm is um uh a large um uh ammo gun yeah cartridge yeah yeah uh which is just so cool man so cool uh drum mag
that's what i'm looking for it's an extra large drum mag as like the bicep it just looks insane
uh so the game is so cool we could talk about it forever uh but we have like 20 game updates
massive things that happened in the space last week uh that i just want to cover
for anyone that missed it you know maybe didn't tune into gaming daily or you know didn't see
this on the timeline x's timeline's been a little weird lately so uh let's speed run through this
speed run let's go you guys might have uh not seen it forgotten playland big shout out to
forgotten playland they're officially live on epic games you can go download the game now uh jump in there support them this is off of beam
um and i saw some game nights over the weekend uh happening so shout out there castile uh big
game on aptos uh been driving like a million dollars in revenue from like their play tests
and whatnot they've been absolutely crushing it they just partnered with uh open loot uh massive distribution platform obviously behind big time and
other games like boss fighters so uh i hope to see like great things come from this i've had my eye
on castile um they seem to find product market fit and traction uh we mentioned it earlier axes
triple mystic sold for 22 eth uh which is not
as much money as it used to be but it's still 45 000 and uh big shout out to axi i mean they
dude axi like not only is their game and economy thriving but like they also have that provenance
of like being like the crypto punks of like web3 gaming uh like i just don't think that they'll
ever go anywhere
they're uh they're um and they're gonna keep moving forward which is amazing so shout out to
them um this was an update i wasn't expecting payton did officially left proof of play and
pirate nation we love him this is a great history of uh proof of play and his work at pirate nation
absolutely crushed it he was the bd and had a growth over there. And he's setting sales on his own now, probably working mostly on Gigaverse.
Yeah. He said something about, somebody said like, what's next? And he's like,
pretty much full time. I think actually in human, I think it's actually in this one.
Somebody said like, yeah, confused what it means for means for gigaverse means gets 12 hours of time each day instead of
And like in human, I think commented like, oh my goodness, uh, let's go.
So like, you know, I think there's a lot of like, um, people really excited about it.
You know, I kind of, I don't know, kind of had this feeling too.
Like death was just being very kind of like open out there just about like, man, like
this is like a really like hard person.
I've had to deal with that in terms of like, you know, wolves versus the company
that I worked at, like, what does that kind of look like? Uh, and he did a really good job at
it, but he was like being very, very vocal about gigaverse. I was like, man, you know, there's
probably either going to be a separation or dip has to calm down a little bit on the timeline.
Well, we, uh, we love and support regardless support regardless uh next up game seven is offering to
buy back all of their staked tokens um there's a deeper dive there i don't know what that means
um you know in terms of like their performance but i mean that's kind of a chad move a lot of the
supporters are really happy about that um i think that's cool wish them all the best i'm curious you know how how it's going to play out i haven't seen any updates uh since but no i think after their
launch they definitely went internal and they're trying to figure out some things that like you
know you know you get a launch like that it kind of like shakes things up you're just like okay
yeah we obviously misinterpreted uh what the community was like so let's let's go back to
the drawing board so kudos to them not not quitting they're just buying back and going back stronger so i'm excited i love that i love that um love that
you're here giving that extra context uh animoka brands uh the mocha network is partnering with
sodium uh i like covering sodium news because it's you know sony playstation you know you know
you know uh they're partnering together to use Mocha's, uh, identity layer,
basically their, their SDK for their reputation system. So digital identity, you know, infrastructure
and decentralization and all that stuff. Um, they're working together on that. So that could
be a win for Sonium, you know, getting that, that SDK in there. Uh, San Fran Tokyo is going to be
the first game to, to kind of use some of that tech with uh
their anime id so yeah we covered our gaming daily there's a whole blog post go check that out
of course we talked about this massively at the open of the show ronin is officially live on open
c they uh day one they were the top gaming nft by volume absolutely crushing huge shout out to oliver
huge shout out to jiho ronan openc just making this happen like again i can't i love this picture
so much yeah yeah so good dude i mean the the storied past man and the history and what i love
about it is like the um just the consistency in the space man like that's
that's just real yeah both of them just being like hey congratulations 2018 that's so cool man
anyways yeah the bill you know support the builders who have been here for years and years
and years and years um next up immutable getting a huge win the investigation from the sec is officially
closed no wrongdoing was found immutable can move forward um without that hanging over them so
i don't know how many uh are left to close out from the sec i'm excited about it uh well don't
we have cyber conks that one's that one's a little that was recently given so hopefully uh hopefully it gets resolved here quickly yeah um but massive win for uh immutable congrats guys yumio uh of course
formerly today the game yumio staking is live for limbo um you can stake limbo on on their site
20 of the token was staked uh in the 24 hours. So big congrats to them.
Of course, this is like you can stake
and basically get their stars points.
It's like their staking rewards point system
that will lead to future ecosystem rewards
and more stuff in their space.
So big congrats over there.
I love to see that go live.
Fableborn over the weekend had a play test.
I haven't checked in on the stats yet but i assume
that they were really good uh fableborn also always publishes their play test stats so i'm
looking forward to that i did see a bunch of um you know gameplay and uh you know people playing
the game over the weekend so that was awesome to see uh it was also awesome to see wild cards
third exhibition go down last
week. If you guys aren't tuning into these exhibitions, they're awesome. They're a ton of
fun. Uh, if you're able to get in, you know, you're earning the WC token, there's airdrops going
just like how they've designed the thousands platform Peyton. We've talked about it so much.
You worked with them on this a bit for a short stint.
It's cool to see it all come to fruition.
Big shout out to our boys, Mr. House and Dragoon from the 100X community, taking down the win over there.
Man, these exhibition series are just so fun.
I love how they're doing it.
Also, the wild card exhibition featuring Wolves Den went so hard.
We did go pretty freaking hard.
I'm watching back.
I'm just like, why am I being so toxic?
It was just the spirit of the den.
And also it was very late.
It was Friday.
So I got a lot of toxicity beamed up to me.
No, dude, you are a one of one, Peyton.
And it's so awesome.
And like, oh, man, I just love seeing you in your zone.
Shout out to Bear Snake.
The Forgotten Rooniverse early access is now live.
There's Quanta airdrops left and right.
There's so much going on in this ecosystem.
Anyone and everyone who ever meets Bear Snake is like, I love you.
I just love you.
I love your passion for your game. I love your vision for Web3 gaming and the space. These are builders and teams and games that you just fall in love with that you want to support that you want to be a part of in any way, shape, form or possible. I watched Shout Out to Storming, Bora Bora from Tempest Gaming Guild, talked to Bear
Snake for like two hours.
And I was talking to Storming afterwards and he's like, dude, I don't even care.
I'll work for free.
I just want to be a part of what they're doing.
And yeah, Early Access is now live.
They've published a bunch of deep articles explaining their vision, their thesis, their
plans, massive moment just kind
of like raven quest and a lot of these mmorpgs in the space that are kind of coming out now
uh forgotten rooney versus one of the ones leading the charge so uh check out the game guys give them
give them support i love it you absolutely love it it's beautiful beautiful. Content rich. And next we got spot zero raising $4.5
million from Bitcraft. Big money coming in to spot zero. Congrats to them. You'll love to see it.
We also saw Immortal Rising 2 get $3 million in funding ahead of their TGE. Their TGE had mixed
results last week. We covered it on gaming daily uh but nonetheless
you know three million dollars is a lot of money that hopefully they can you know uh put to good
use so congratulations uh from Spartan and Planetarium cool um next uh Geocrush big shout
out to Charlie Blackstock and the Farcade this was their first game to hit 1 million plays uh super cool to see
i love seeing like the game titles coming out of farcade and uh stats like this is just awesome to
see of course uh sam stefanina the new cmo over there about it and uh and also they just did a
game jam um um ai build-a-thon with uh b3 i think it ends today so that you guys if you're still
fading the farcade that's fine but like you can only fade them for so much longer yeah um i would
get in early because like some of the i think a lot of the things is based off of like derivative
content and everything like that so if you can be one of the first games in a specific new niche
that catches on with a new little shift it'll be really cool what i've loved seeing peyton is like all of the different
little creative games that people can make and like and design and you know and anyone's a game
game designer now yeah it really empowers a lot of people to do it so it's i'm excited for it
there's some really like clever little game loops that I'm seeing come out of, out of Farcade, which is cool. Uh, vibe coding guys. Um, next up 77 bit
finding traction, 173,000 daily active users. And, uh, you know, most importantly, we always
talk about revenue. Their average revenue per paying user is just over $50. So really cool.
They've got some really great retention stats.
So 77-bit is another one that I've got my eye on.
Seem to be finding some good traction there.
Curious to see what their syncs are.
I need to play it.
Yeah, that's a good question.
I think it's still early.
These playtests are kind of closed.
Yeah, I still want to see. Yeah. question uh i think it's still early like these play tests are like kind of closed and yeah i still
want to see yeah i want to i want to see this arpu and how like real it is or like they're
gating it pretty hard which i'm not seeing anything about it i'm just wondering like what
what they're kind of like is it like purchasing nfts yeah you know like i want i'm just curious
about it yeah no great question great question uh fan for on, let us know, uh, in sad news, uh, symbiogenesis is wrapping up over the
summer, July, 2025.
And, uh, they announced that they will be discontinuing the service.
Um, this was the web three, uh, game experiment adventure for square Enix.
uh game experiment adventure for square enix um i actually worked on a campaign with them
back at the owned days and it was really cool i really liked the game it was really cool to me
it was confusing they they talked to me about joining the campaign and i was like i gotta make
a video about this like dude this is confusing as all hell yeah it's like but also like i know
that their stuff was more like it was there was also like some language barrier too so i was trying to ask questions i was just like not getting much
in return i was like okay i think there was a big language barrier i mean credit to them
they did the the game was intended to have six seasons and it looks like they have gotten to
the sixth season and are like finishing up the original story that they wanted to have.
But the sad thing is that it didn't seem to get enough traction for them to continue.
It was heavily IP driven.
And they were trying to build out this whole lore with the characters and the story that was the story of Symbiogenesis.
of symbiogenesis uh it was very confusing pain i i will i will grant you that um i made a video
It was very confusing pain.
I will grant you that.
like once i learned how to play uh which took a little while because you have to like search in
the discord like it's some of the game is in the discord and then you have to go to the website
to be honest it's like it's in some some capacity i think everything is like can become
is a game but like there is like more of like a a social specific stuff which is very popular in like japan and like some of the the eastern specific uh countries but um for the
west it was very hard for me to get to it yeah but nonetheless i mean we'll have to see how square
enix feels about web 3 uh post symbiogenesis i know that they've like they did something with
like what mythical marketplace or something they've invested in or hyperplay.
I think they, they, uh, they, they made some, um, announcements about, but I don't know.
Um, hopefully they continue to see the value of web three and do more in the space.
And, you know, I don't know, maybe the, the symbiogenesis lore and IP and NFTs will live
Uh, but I like this one.
So it's sad to see them discontinue it.
Very true.
What's not sad to see, Peyton,
is the Wolves down,
the Barky Boys,
partnering with Parallel
for Prime League Season 2.
Super pumped about this, man.
In terms of when Fitch reached out to us,
this was after the HyperX,
and that was before Wolves' Den,
and I think Wolves' Den
just really cemented it for them. We just really like doing live events. And I think we
just have the crew, especially you've called them the special forces, descending on things.
So I think just having that specific group of people representing a company that we truly love,
and not just company, but the people behind it, Koji, Kalos, we've had dinners with them.
And we just see their heart about the space and it resembles ours.
And so we're just really excited about that.
Um, 2025 year of the Wolf.
So super excited about it.
Yeah, man, more e-sports related content coming from the Wolves Dow.
Uh, very fun, very excited, uh, to see how that shapes up.
I hit up Sam and Peyton.
I was like, what can I say on the record?
What can I say?
You know, and also off the record, tell me what's going on.
So there will be more stuff around that coming soon, but very, very, very fun.
Next up, MapleStory.
We talked about off the grid, but Peyton, you mentioned it too.
MapleStory Universe, their token could be imminent.
They got a listing on CoinMark coin market cap it's just like the
preview um but yeah things are shaping up over there they're making noise so uh gaming on avax
uh also got to give them credit and a shout out for like their man their rollout right i'm 100%
sure this would be like a binance or something this one will be a day one yeah yeah oh man big stuff happening there and
it's just super cool um next up sugar town sugar town's getting a token the win the ticker is win
uh big shout out to sugar town uh camel the guys over there they came through the den big shout out to acol and tommy they stopped
by real quick they were they were making the the gdc rounds uh i've been playing in their poker
stuff really like it i'm pretty bullish on what they're doing um there i i own some aura nfts of
course they're launching on abstract uh we got that aura um so yeah they're getting a token which um was my thesis i'm like
listen they left zynga they yeah camel is shouting from you know on the timeline every single day
don't fade sugar town finally i was like you know what they might be onto something i bet they're
gonna launch a token i have to assume that maybe that'll do well so i bought some nfts nice and
hopefully it goes well we'll see we will see we will see
i'm rooting for him i like him yeah uh parallel colony is also cooking peyton uh this is a game that you've had your eye on oh i love it so much yeah seems like they invited more people into the
data tests and it's like they invited some people and like some some floors started moving so i'm
just like either they're just like really bullish on what they saw because like how can you not be bullish
on this like it's so cool to see like the gameplay was amazing yeah man i i just looked at like
calluses like timeline um and there's a lot of people that were kind of like talking about like
obviously wayfinder and all that stuff but like you know this one's really funny just
and stuff but like a lot of people, it seems like, you know,
I don't know what they're paid to do.
So maybe, I don't know.
But like, I think everything is just kind of coming together.
And it's just like, I don't know.
It just looks really cool to me.
Very intrigued.
The early reviews are wildly positive and very exciting. Even some of the, some of the skeptics,
uh, I've seen a shout out to, I think his name's Q flux or something like that. I was watching his
video over the weekend and, uh, he is someone that doesn't hold punches and was very skeptical.
And he was like, this game is amazing and so much fun. Yeah. Um um so really excited to see that um that for them i think the
biggest bullish indicator for this was that dub bought my goodness dub bought like a one of one
after after this demo and like because like you see him playing it right here right yeah um and
obviously like dub's one of those people that loves to make stories in his head so like in terms of that aspect of things and like the you know he was like super attracted to colony very early on um
even he was campaigning to to koji on gamified for like my all of last year saying i will walk
a thousand miles to get into the colony yeah seriously um and so like one of that aspect of things is just something oh sorry uh
you know probably led him to the purchase of this decision so um yeah um koji saw jiho's uh
mythic axie tweet and said uh hold my celsius
and uh went and spent 53 000 on a one a one-of-one parallel avatar.
It doesn't clean, though, man.
I'm pretty sure he's going to change his PFP.
Like, he'll probably be known for this.
Dude, badass.
Get your money's worth.
That's a tax write-off, right?
Yeah, I don't think so, buddy.
For sure, man.
Hold my matcha.
Yeah, man.
Hold my matcha, dude.
Freaking hilarious. Congratulations to Dub dub you absolutely love to see it hopefully this is enough although he says
it's never enough um 53 000 that's crazy but people are saying like you got it, got it, got a deal. Like, you know, this could, I don't know.
It's crazy to me.
Like I, I'll talk to him a little bit later, but I'm just like, dude, like, what, what
are you doing here, buddy?
Cause as a friend, you got to sometimes check that, but just like, you know, he's not probably
somebody that cares about that money.
I hope, I hope.
Your logic in the building.
What's up, brother? Appreciate you. Where are you guys mainly live at? We're hope. I hope. Yeah. Your logic in the building. What's up,
brother? Appreciate you. Where are you guys mainly live at? We're on YouTube and Twitter.
Yeah. Probably most of the comments are on YouTube though, I would say. Yeah. Well,
yeah, it gets, it gets a little mixed. The nice thing is people will like jump in from, from Twitter and pop in and say hi. But yeah, the, the more active like uh engaged audiences is usually on on youtube um but payton
uh i i think i've mentioned this before uh like whenever i see headlines like that like all 53
thousand dollars on a parallel avatar uh it reminds me of the um john stewart bit on uh
the mark twain award for dave chaappelle, where he has like this really long,
long joke. And the punchline basically is like, like, you have that much money? Like,
oh my God, I never had no idea. It's like the takeaway is like, Dub had $53,000.
The Kett millionaire, brother. The Kett millionaire. i think just like dub is like somebody that is he he did very well off of cat uh and you know he's told me about and everything like that but
he just i think just dub is also just dub and so like you know 53k i bet you if he had 53k like he
would spend still do yeah yeah yeah you would still you love to see man i mean dub is one of
my favorite people in the space i'm there's only one dub i'm happy to see it, man. I mean, Dub is one of my favorite people in the space. I'm happy to see him winning. And, uh, you know what he does and means to web three gaming is so
significant to me. Um, because he's a lot of people just such a, such a, uh, a passionate,
hardcore, true gamer. And he, you know, talk about believing in something dub believes in these games and these
founders in these projects in these nfts in these assets i mean he is one of the the best people if
you're gonna if you can get dub into your ecosystem he is the perfect archetype of who you want in
your ecosystem no one games harder and loves harder and dj is harder um and content's harder than dub man
so 100 no thousand percent talking about content though we got trailers let's talk about it let's
go trailers here guys one watch everyone knows the rules first one up is going to be off the grid
going into west call let's get Yeah, shout out to this gentleman.
I guess he's like one of the top streamers in Colombia.
Yeah, and on kick, yeah.
The day is so expected.
So today we're going to tell you how my skin in Off The Grief.
I swear I never had seen a skin.
Well, there are other characters, obviously. But I see this too realistic. and off the grid hermano otro sueño con of the grip reaccionando aquí con ustedes well this opportunity by anybody else
and that's the best way to do it is showing off the person's like reaction to their own
yeah dude they did the same thing with scum my primera skin in a video game
yeah very very cool man you love to see it man man. I love it. That's so cool.
Yeah, dude, I really like 8.0, man.
Just for the fact that it's a very cool thing to do
that they obviously do it.
And every single time that I watch it off the grid,
I was like, I forgot I have OTG Pro,
so let me go get it, you know?
So yeah, Latam, love it.
Yeah, and just like, you know,
Latam's just been really, really just on my specific heart ever since i've met storming and everything like that
um just honestly amazing big shout out to carrot lover in the chat representing that old school
club shout out to predzor another incredible creator pushing forward uh latin america as well
let's go bora bora all right next up is gonna be a sanctuary
b3 we talked a little bit about uh how parallel is branching out to colony instead of the tcg as
well as uh this one and you always thought like i think i told this to you i see it's just like
very uh maybe i talked to koji at the den i was like you know what i like about
calling as well as sanctuary is like sanctuary they're going after like a pretty well-known genre.
But Colony, they're going after something
that is like new, you know, in my opinion.
So it's an extraction shooter,
third-person extraction shooter.
And so, yeah, let's check it out.
Oops, sorry, guys.
I'll restart.
So this is mostly just like
gameplay type of things. so checking out the new
powers and everything like that for um a little sanctuary a little teaser a little teaser i'm
excited for this because it's like more power-based uh which is like one thing about sanctuary is
like hey what what what is the unique element for you um that's going to be doing it so powers are obviously really cool building out the lore uh as well so excited about
it yeah we we got a little bit of a uh preview in uh las vegas at the parallel prime championship
another reason if you're able to go to events that you should go to events um obviously if you can uh it's really cool to see the world of parallel come to life in sanctuary
right because you have all these cards and like you said abilities and this ip and these designs
and whatnot and the sense that i got was like a lot of that they want to bring into sanctuary
you know starting with the with the avatars themselves you know being rigged and
modeled and ready to go in sanctuary um and and being able to extend the story of uh parallel
because the the lore of parallel is insane absolutely well the after earth and everything
so yeah uh really cool to see sanctuary come come come together. Of course, they're building on B3, the official chain of Game & Daily.
I'd be remiss if I didn't say that.
So big fan of that.
And yeah, stay tuned.
All right.
Next up is going to be Forgotten Rooney-overse Global Early Access Date Announced Trailer.
Very excited about this one, mostly just for the fact that I love the team.
And it's being built by a legit games studio by sonic uh and very excited
to see it yeah i gotta share this with you guys they are live go support them i want to go play it
enter the forgotten rooney verse
who mounts i love the mount look at that

me all right it could be an mmorp yeah yeah you want to tap in. Guys, that's going to do it for today's episode.
Another banger.
I really enjoyed the off the grid conversation, Peyton.
You brought up a ton of points that I hadn't even like ever considered.
So that's why I love it.
Yeah, thanks for asking me questions because like, you know, I didn't really voice them
So I'm excited to see what people think about them.
Yeah, that was really good.
Always fun to cover a bunch of the game updates. I think it was like, dude, it's insane. i'm excited to see what people think about them yeah that was that was really good uh always fun
to cover a bunch of the game updates i think it was like dude it's insane it's insane 22 updates
and we could have gone to 40 to be honest there's a bunch that we missed uh and then you know the
trailer it's like it continues every week um so guys thank you so much everyone k in the audience
logic kobe streams carrot lover matt defies had, what an epic stream.
This is why I love doing the show, Peyton,
because like the people that come through is insane.
We literally had Bear Snake,
you know, the founder of the game trailer
that we just watched in the comments,
showing love, Oliver Maroney from OpenSea, of course,
Sovereign, Shady Shiba, King Snooch,
AE, Bullrunner, Yukin. If you can do it, you can too.
I don't know. Crypto Grit, for much love. Appreciate you. Matt Defies, Jorge, the gaming
strategist. You love to see it. It's going to be another beautiful week in Web3 Gaming. What do

We have our first demo from the devs today.
We had like a couple of pre-alpha demos for the Woof companion app.
Just didn't really meet up to scuff.
So we are going to be doing that today,
later this afternoon.
So stand by on that.
And then, yeah, figuring out the AI agent specific launch date,
which should be sometime in April.
But I'm doing like a update for the community here soon.
That just said to take some time from Wolves Den,
but we're going to be doing it.
Back in the pocket, locked in.
