realized how much I've shit on award shows throughout the whole year but uh it's still
it was gonna be like meme awards I was just gonna give like biggest dickhead in Ronin and just
at somebody but you know we're not gonna do that we're gonna go we're gonna go through all the
achievements of this year uh and recap some of your guys' favorite moments throughout 2024.
As we go into 2025, which will be, I am not joking.
I've been here for three and a half years, bro.
Like 2025, I don't even know if I'm ready.
And I've been waiting for this for a long time.

Specifically, I'd probably say like in terms of crypto, right?
Obviously, we went and did the GDC shit.
You know, that's kind of where the where i got involved in ronin radio which i think was like super fun and like an amazing experience and super blessed
to be here um two i think uh working with sm was like huge for me yeah bro have we actually spoken about it like do people know
that like that you were doing that because like project's been holding it down for you like you
know i don't know if you guys know but can we let's let's briefly talk on it because if sm
i don't know the position right now but i think this is a role that you absolutely should have
you know with your experience basis your involvement in this industry as well and the fact that you are a fucking min max cracked goon guy like you
fucking are the geezer when it comes to figuring games out and stuff like that so like i think it's
a career path for sure but let it let people know what you was what you was on this year
yeah yeah yeah bro so um i was like testing out games that were like kind of getting interested in ronin or
we're going into ronin or like current games right that we had and i would like literally analyze
them and write like reports and give feedback and kind of like uh help the team out and help the
the game devs out in terms of what was good and what was bad
and what the solution are and all that stuff.
So that was super fun.
It required a lot at times,
especially if it's games that, like, needed you to deep dive into it.
But, yeah, man, it was a super good experience.
I mean, hopefully we can cook something up again with SM.
We'll see in the new years.

in description about ronin but meritocracy like it's truly going to be an environment where

2,000 followers I think I'm at 6,500 now and I think 2025 is just going to be a lot more. I hope there's
a lot of growth in there. Not only that, with Ronan opening up, and of course, the gates being

it was a surprise to me when it was first announced
earlier on in the year.
I think it was around June or July, something like that.
And it was at that point, like I really started to realize
how kind of blockchain illiterate I actually was at that at that phase
um you know there's people making snarky funny comments in the background I was saying
it was question mark but um we are we really you know we've had so many great experiences here with
like such a focus in on gaming and it's it's going to interesting now to know that it's going to open
out and there's going to be different types of experiences different types of
Ronas coming into the space and and why they're here and and
You know, I'm just excited to open up the doors to welcome all types of community members for for next year
And so we don't know when it's gonna be but Q1 confirmed bro Q1, but that saves that leaves us three months of
speculative opinions or estimations
and when we might actually see the open network and how that is going to go down.

And this started, I guess, when the first announcement around ZKVM was out, right?
Because I felt like that was kind of like a change in mindset for a lot of people.
I started seeing a lot more talks talks about like, oh, how to prepare for that, like how to, you know, keep your assets secured, you know, what games.
And I've been seeing more activity with like gamers or Ronin community members trying to tag their favorite games to build on Ronin, build on Ronin.
So I feel like that could like that's like one of the best uh things because I think that in in effect activated the community uh and like we were rallying towards something
right oh open Ronin oh like it's gonna be great like trying to tag your favorite games on like
freaking avalanche to come to stuff like that uh it's just it's just fun and uh i think ultimately for me when i see the community
having fun uh insert ygg summit insert like all those different like we had events in in japan
like uh some token 24 and axi meet up like every time i see the community have fun and come together
like those are the moments that i i cherish uh the most so yeah it's hard to just pick one but those are like that's my uh highlight
facts bro when we knew we were going over network it was like oh the one reason like that and
people might have their own opinion on it but the one reason we don't really come compare in terms of
um volume like told tvl and like the market cap factors here on ronin is is arguably because
we don't have you know this this bountiful and endless opportunity for creation of of new ways
for consumers to spend their money and also to spend their time right like it is pretty much
like games and it was always factored to how good are the games and how much do people want to
participate in the ecosystems and of course we've shown numbers that are better than entire blockchain
ecosystems on that factor alone so when we realized that we were about to go into an environment where
we add there's an addition of what is already existing out there um you know everybody was excited and i particularly was like oh fuck
this is this is it right like this is the sky mavis motto of like um the the the economic freedom
but starting you know with games right like it it's fucking mad and i'm looking here on the june
analytics over the last year and it was around july june when that announcement
happened and that's when we saw the year's biggest peaks of daily addresses and people
kind of coming over and starting to dive into the narrative and we've we've remained quite
consistent since then um and of course we're probably that will probably be like a a foundational
um activity level as we go into an open network you know just hitting over about
two million um daily active addresses at peak remember we said so fucking huge i i actually
don't have i'm trying to think now that i'm asking the question like you know i haven't even asked
myself this question um like the best moment and it's it's really fucking hard but i'm gonna keep
pressing on these hard questions

I think running has grown incredibly big. Sometimes i don't even know what's going on
at this point so you know i'm really really excited for what's coming in 2025 and my most
memorable moment i would say it was the beginning of 2024 with pixels okay pixels really really um cemented
uh um run the running network back again like it reignited the running network nothing else
reignited the running network more than pixels yeah that's that's the truth that's when everything
um that's when a lot of people said, oh, Running Network is back.
You know, it really showed how many people were still following the Running Network, right?
There was a lot of dormant users and players and content creators and Pixels brought that back.
and Pixels brought that back.
And I'm happy that I was part of that,
part of that growth,
like, you know, to re-spark the running networks,
you know, to re-spark the running networks community.
It was going to happen one way or another,
but Pixels was the one that brought it back.
So that's my most memorable moment especially
because the pixel token came out of violence too that was huge yeah yeah bro that airdrop was
fucking that was probably my first like meaningful airdrop where you know being involved in an event
being active within the rolling community and in that game specifically,
made a big difference.
It was not no funny money as well.
The thing is, though,
this is what is most impressive about Pixels
is normally after a huge event like that,
it all dies out.
Now the incentive's not there anymore,
but we've seen by the numbers,
by the statistics you follow along
on how Pixels has actually operated,
you know, throughout the year.
And they are still to this day,
the biggest contributor towards,
you know, active addresses
and users across this ecosystem
for surpassing anything else.
You know, even to today,
daily active is still upwards of 250 000 addresses
every single day um so yeah big fucking shout out to the pixels team heidi and luke uh came here and
and really gave us some rocket fuel and yeah i don't think we would have had as big a year if
we didn't start in that in that manner so good times man good times i remember you were streaming
the shit out as well is uh is this is this vacation kagi mode is is uh like what's your plans 2025 what what what is the
mission for someone like kagi um yeah i really don't know right now i'm kind of i'm kind of
seeing what i'm gonna do yeah um you know one of the things that I specialize in is basically kind of, you know, looking at the market and seeing where I can grow the most.
And one of those moves regarding growth, I am moving to the Philippines.

the idea is to help games but you know like i'm gonna charge them for that you know it's
fact yo it's facts it's facts bro yo we gotta eat we have to eat, we have to eat bro, we have to fucking eat 2025, get a full belly.
Yeah, yeah we have to, we have to you know, and I'm not afraid to say it openly, like
that's just kind of how it is, if you build value, if you're a valuable person you should be asking
not necessarily for money, but it could be like things in exchange, it could be NFTs,
it could be tokens, you know, and some of these projects not a running but i mean
in general sometimes they want to take advantage you know and people you know to all creators out
there um you gotta be a little bit more aggressive um and be willing to basically be willing to say
to say no to some of these games you like if they're not giving you what you want you say no to some of these games. If they're not giving you what you want,
you say no, you move on.
There's gonna be hundreds of,
if not thousands of games and projects.
So, but that doesn't mean you sit back and do nothing.
You still have to work and educate.
I mean, 95% of my content has never been paid
and that's fine.
I'm fine with that.
But that 5%, you know, you got to get aggressive.
Yeah.
And ask for where you're worth.
Yo, if you're a creator in this space right now, there's gems, man.
There's gems in it.
It's not easy.
I know I've had conversations with people in this space who are creators.
It's difficult, man.
It's like an environment that you're not used to.
It's like a habit you're not used to.
You might not know your value.
You might not know what's fair.
You might not know what is aggressive and what isn't in terms of seeking out your value.
But this is the journey that you're on and you have to attempt and do what you think is aggressive at first to figure it out.
But take note on that for real, because 95% of content being free,
that's kind of how it goes down.
Like you kind of have to know the value that you're creating and present it first.
It's like a tester, bro.
I want to go back to it, but you used to hand out a little tester
and then the cats was calling.
I'm not going to go into that conversation deeply though,

one of my life missions right now, really,
is to find a way to make, you know, creating content on Ronin really rewarding for all creators right
and uh Nexus like that partnership with Nexus was just like a tip of the iceberg and I just
realized we haven't even announced the prize the prize pool for that yet uh yeah people are just
yeah people are doing like nothing but yo, it's actually beta season. There's actually nothing much there like it's just like a whatever but like season one there's gonna be like
Like serious incentives and like that's just one piece of it, right? That's just one piece of it
we're also like thinking about ways to
Compensate or like, you know, people uh based on like their their videos or their
streams right so there's a bunch of these things happening and like the only thing you you know i
ask of creators is like yeah just um yeah do your best work and uh opportunities will come like
with more games coming in more partners being more aggressive and trying to you know position
themselves and um because ronin's gonna get noisy right and a lot of these games will want you know uh attention or the
spotlight on them at all times so they're gonna be starting to be more aggressive paying creators
so yeah that's one of the things that i really uh i'm focused on and i i just want like to
to put that in you know uh on the table yeah if you're a creator it's gonna be an exciting year
vocalize it bro vocalize it's it's real it's real bro axi is a ladder ronin is a ladder
i you know we can i can say that having climbed you know this ladder that we speak of metaphorically
um it it's it's it the time is fucking now i will keep saying it i said it all throughout 2024 as
well um and i'll continue to say it for 2025 it is a ladder you got to really think about it like
something that's fired in my brain it's not even that important to stick around for too long but
like imagine open open network ronin is there's even the possibility for creative design work
around these channels of smart contract distribution for your content. I think Zentry are a fucking
incredible team. I've been speaking with them over the last few days. We're definitely setting
something up here. We will be having them on the road and radio pretty soon. Jaren is cool as fuck.
So yeah, it's going to be exciting to share with you guys as well some of the things that they
might be cooking up. I don't know full detail of short of course otherwise you know um i probably would or wouldn't share with you depending if
there was an nda there or whatever but uh but yeah just think about it man the things that can
be created and an open network well i'm thinking like yo if i was actually a base dev because
instead of like just prompting ais and getting stuck at a lot of different areas of code i would
be creating something that's pretty fucking cool like a like a streaming platform that is you know natively on
Ronin distributes run based on like stream viewership and and contribution and engagement
and those times like all these things are really fucking possible we're gonna get into really
creative cool and incentivized consumer layer applications in 2025 that is a fact you heard it

tribally in ygg been building in the rolling community for a long long long long time
and uh very timely that ronin has just got an added base support into the wallet today you can
now see your tribal tokens in the Ronin
wallet. We've been chatting to Gabby at YGG
about doing some stuff on their
on-chain guilds tech. It's
really, really cool tech. I love what they're doing
over there and I think we'll be
seeing some sort of announcement on that.
In the new year,
we're really excited to be working with those guys because
we've been around for a long time and
we've just never spoken.
We have never spoken until YGG Play Summit.

I had 33 families that were all teachers, actually, at the same school.
And that's where we started, started with Ax so yeah big moment i think my favorite moment of that event was watching you
eat balut um ah well you must have a shit time because it was fucking horrible
oh yo i listen i don't recommend anybody eating balut but you know if you do it you do it whatever
but that video never surfaced i think it's just gonna it's always the archives. Um, I show, I probably should have recorded it myself.
I took photos and stuff, but like, yeah, I think some people do actually have some footage like,
uh, gun lock and, and maybe Xanatos or something, but, um, my God, why did you remind me, bro?
My stomach has, has been absolutely fine since that day and starting to do a few somersaults,
but now listen listen that's definitely
my worst moment of 2024 so i'm glad it was your best moment um keep it fucking moving but yes

My best moment,
Ronin, actually I'm really new
to the Web3 gaming space. I came in
about a month ago.
I think
basically my favorite moment was
I fell in love with
Pixel Heroes Adventure.
Nice.
For three days straight, I was on that shit
and I was visiting my girlfriend and just planning
because all I was doing was just farming
and trying to get over the Bluemints, the first stage.
It pissed me off so much.
Yeah.
But that game took a lot of us Ronins away
from other experiences in that time and you know
on top of that you had the passive grind and kind of having to manage that on as well i don't think
i actually got one of my old phones and reactivated it so it became a pixel heroes adventures device
at that point um so yeah a great game experience a lot of fun for that arguably one of the games on
ronin that hasn't fully plugged into the um the web three aspects yet yes of course we have nfts
yes of course they have an ecosystem of course we know there's a token and um you know the events
that are occurring right now are contributing towards the airdrop but we haven't actually
like fully seen that on the flip side like the on-chain um elements to it as much as maybe other experiences so it's cool to know that
like you're coming into the ronin ecosystem that was an experience that grabbed you i do wonder
if that um is it it have you been in web3 games before have you been in crypto gaming before
are you in the broader crypto industry in terms of
interests and involvement and activity and like did coming here and playing pixel heroes adventure
open your eyes to ronin um in in a different light in a different way yeah for sure i mean firstly
um my crypto experience is i mean i used to be a degenerate in 2020.
And then I got into some pretty bad, pretty bad red seas.
And so I decided to take a step back.
But this year, I'm just a gamer in general.
And so when I found this game, it made me realize that I love grinding games.
Like, Pixel Heroes is all about grinding.
Like this game, like, I need to spend hours on it it and i think that's why i loved it so much and um frankly i i think i'm staying i don't know i i think i think
the ronin network i'm not fucking leaving i'm not fucking leaving the judge is not fucking leaving
bro yo that makes me that makes me wonder does that make uh something like ragnarok land of us
um like does that spike your interest is that uh
because if you're talking about grinding you know there's similar elements the passive grind is
going to exist on on land verse but also one of the biggest mmos ever to grace you know this earth
being here on and having that creative crypto aspect to it we've seen it on the bmb chain this
year 50 million in revenue nfts
within the game like is that something that you're looking for and if you haven't even acknowledged
