A couple of giveaways I'll mention in a little while.
But yeah, it's going to be
a good space. We're going to have a good time.
Hi, Melinaina i'm happy to
have you here i'm glad you could join hey everybody i'm a little jealous like mexy has
little birds chirping behind her i'm like where is mexy right now that's a vibe girl like i'm
yeah they're kind of they're kind of loud i I'm getting in the car, though. I love the birds.
Yeah, I had to go take my son to get his hair cut.
You got the birds chirping.
It's a happy Friday, capital H.
A good Friday with a capital G.
I'm excited to talk about art.
We've got G-Coy here, too. Excited to talk all things art. I see Kat here. I want to tell Kat that I want her to like submit her penguin in our contest. So yeah, excited to talk about all these things. She did. She did?
She submitted it yesterday. I talked to her and I was like, Kat, look, check out the GQIC contest. And she submitted her pudgy.
And I have a lot of other people about to start submitting today, too.
We're going to talk about that contest in a bit.
But, yeah, happy to be here, guys.
I'm going to make a big NFT buy.
I don't want to say what it is yet.
And I'm going to be in this contest as well and yeah
it's going to be a lot of fun i'm getting some good people involved so i have a couple friends
that might come on the space so we'll wait a little bit i kind of it was last minute notice
i kind of gave him so yeah we'll get some people up here in future but any artists in the room
definitely put your art in the comments let us know where we could check it out where we could purchase it tezo solana ethereum everything so just put it in the comments we'll check it out
we'll feature a couple artists here today all our little buying nfts smoking weed and chill
and yeah yeah let's say hi to cat too uh cat how's the morning how's everything oh gm gm i am just
looking at this beautiful background literally bun bunnies. She's got birds.
I got bunnies. I literally have bunnies hopping around in the backyard. Yo, it's so rad.
But oh, girl, Melinda, I'm so happy to see you here. Oh, my gosh. You know, I love you, girl.
You know, I love you. I we I just love that girl so much. And Mexie, thank you. Yes. I submitted and me,
I'm not even joking. I totally stopped what I was doing right in the middle of the day. As soon as
I saw it was a G O G Koi. I was like, I'm, I'm, I literally stopped what I was doing. And I like
submitted my penguin like immediately. So I just love their art. Art is just fire. It's I know.
I can't wait to talk about art too. Like, and that's the thing, you know.
I just feel like, you know, over the last, like, what, let's say, like, five years, you know, we've been seeing, you know, a lot of, a ton of different collections and whatnot.
But I almost feel like for a lot of people, the art or, like, good art is what people were missing.
And so I'm like super pumped you know
Kat like first of all love your PFP obviously but it's fun to also like connect now you know
five years later with like people like the GQA community who just like vibe with artists they
want good artists they want people you know to do, you know, and I think that's hard.
It's so hard to find these things, right?
Well, and it looks, it reminds me of like bringing the past and the future together.
That's what it reminds me of because I look at Jikoi and I literally see like, you know,
like the old Japanese, almost like Kabuki style, like, you know, like really like cool
ass old Japanese artwork.
And so I see a lot of that, like just threaded through this new artwork. And I love that because
I am an art girl, man. I've been to like the Louvre. I've traveled around and I've seen a lot
of beautiful artwork. And I'll tell you what, there are some talented, talented artists out
there that really deserve the spotlight. I mean, there's some,
there's some junk out there too, but man, I love art. I love photography and shout out to everybody
who's, you know what, going for it and living their dreams. And if you're an artist, don't,
don't give up. Don't give up. Especially if you're good. If you know you're good and someone hasn't
recognized you yet, yo, don't give up. don't give up on your dream don't give up
fighting don't give up uh on your craft just find somebody just keep putting art out there keep
making art and uh you know like live your dream man because we all deserve to do that we all
deserve to live our dream that is a vibe right Keith like cat is bringing the vibe today wow i love it
it's getting me motivated yeah i'm like i'm about to go do like five push-ups
jeez you got me stretching now after you said that like what let's go
i felt like i was alone in that one though like the push-ups nobody else was like
yeah me too everyone's like no fuck that everybody's like ready to whip their pens out that's
what's up i i don't even know i thought it was a lot going through my mind i was like
five only five i thought it was a minimum okay okay look at him he's flexing no
no i haven't even done anything yet.
Push-ups are more of a dude thing.
I do some, but I do the girly push-ups sometimes.
I'm like, I don't want to.
Okay, let's get you off your knees.
But let's get this art started.
Ladies, I appreciate all the ladies here.
It's definitely a ladies vibe
I love it all the artists here
Drop your art in the comments retweet the space and we're gonna run a giveaway off this pin tweet up at the top
I don't know what we're gonna do yet. We'll get it figured out. Oh, we just lost next
Oh shit next he went through the wormhole or get her we'll get her back, but okay, so
next he went through the wormhole we'll get her we'll get her back but okay so melina do we want
to talk a little bit about the art contest kind of give people an intro we're probably gonna have
to intro people a couple times on it but um in the meantime i'll get my wallet ready to buy some
stuff in the comments we could talk about it and just kind of yeah it's a this is a chill fun space
we don't have you know any any real big uh rules here but yeah yeah so um well listen
guys um for those of you who are not aware uh gcoy is doing this fun fun like i'm having so much fun
on the back end but we're doing this art contest here with ten thousand dollars in prizes and
basically if you're an artist if you've got skill, because G-Koi is quite selective, you know, you have to have already had some of your art commissioned already.
But basically, we are, you know, asking anyone out there who has NFTs and to drop it in.
Like, so here's the post up on top.
up on top but if you want to comment down your pfps any sort of nft that you have and then we're
going to get our artists to commission and do you know do it in their in their way right their
version of your pfp we've even been asking people if they're um ready to have you know their pfp
fighting with another pfp that could be fun um but yeah if you guys are interested
first of all it's totally free because i keep getting asked oh my god like do i have to put
my pfp do i gotta pay it's really free we really want to bring the vibes back when it comes to nfts
bringing back all the love so if you've got some cool pfps that you're like i want to throw it in
there please drop it in the comments of the post pin up top. And then we're going to get our artists to start drawing.
And then I'm like curious to see too,
like I want to sort of do some like,
once we get the arts coming in,
I want to ask people's opinion if they like it,
and it's going to be fun to kind of see people's creativity back on the
timeline. I feel like we've missed that for a while.
So I'm just having fun. And we're
going to be doing this maybe over the next like week. You know, we posted it earlier this week,
but we do want to give people the time. You know, again, we're so aware, you know, with Twitter and
whatnot, if you guys don't happen, if you didn't happen to see it, you're not too late to submit
your PFPs and your art. So please drop it in the comments. And yeah, we're going to get some artists drawing
and bring back the vibes on the timeline.
Maybe Joshaka wants to come up.
Did want to invite him as well
and talk about the art contest as well.
But as you guys can see too,
we're, you know, how can I put this?
We don't want to discriminate.
Okay. We're going to get some Solana PFPs, some ETH PFPs. We've even got some of those wizards up on Bitcoin.
We're not discriminating, you know, any NFT out there, we would love, love, love to come and for
you guys to participate. And I see Jashaka just came up on stage. So Jashaka, want to add anything
been saying man he has that jamaican internet this morning what's going on what happened
brada not i started just making the weirdest accents i'm the fucking worst i just did a
hawaiian accent like a brother but he's fucking fucking from Jamaica. Like don't even get me going
I was like, are you trying to be Filipino? Like I don't even know who I am
Filipino accent. I am the worst at accents. I try them all the time
I don't like I don't know what it is about me in my life
But I'll randomly do these accents to people like in real life and it's not a good look. And I try to, I think in my head I could do it and I can't.
I, I just, I should stop.
I think that's a thing with adults though.
Cause like, I know we used to do it like as kids, but I'm not joking.
I have had more adults come up and go, I love, or do something, you know,
like come up with like the funny So don't, keep doing it
Who cares if you suck at it?
make fun of the artists, yo
Oh, it's a Jamaican brother of mine
You know, we have 3 million Jamaicans who live in Jamaica
and 3 million who live outside of Jamaica
We're everywhere, you know And we love art you're taking it over
let me hear your american accent just shocker let me hear your american accent real quick
american we call that in jamaica we call it twanging you have to sound like a white person
like a white person you go um yo what's up dude what's going on
you go um yo what's up dude what's going on
oh my god that was like not bad
that was so good yeah we have to practice especially when the police pull you over right
you need to oh my god oh my god not the popo
So, you know, we're here promoting the fan art contest.
It's going to be awesome.
People are dropping amazing pieces.
Big shout out to Keith, to Girl in the Verse, to Mexi for helping to, you know, invite people and get us visibility.
We figure markets are crashing everybody's
depressed um uh no better way than to to polish off your your top nfts and get them some visibility
all right so we're calling it nft lovers because it's for nft lovers right if you love nfts and
you love your nft put it up um we're gonna select you know the top pieces and
then our artists are going to totally kill them so like i just posted um a piece we just posted
up a piece on the gcoy timeline i'll try to get it up so you can see you know the quality of the
stuff that our guys can do this is not going to be just chilling art. It's going to be like banging art,
you know, and we have 30 days that we can, let me see if I can share it. Okay. I think I got it up.
So this is by Mr. Zhang. He's one of our guys. He just won the Kaze art contest. He was first
place and his stuff is awesome. You know, we got lots of amazing artists they're gonna bring nfts to life
like melina was saying you can have like just if you want just your piece alone or if you want to
face off like with another character so we can have azuki against azuki but we can also have like
bored apes versus poji penguins um you know in the clash of battle right so it's gonna be cool
the pieces are gonna be cool we The pieces are going to be cool.
We got 10 grand in prize money given away.
So we're going to have great artists.
And all the artists we're talking to, they love it as well, right?
So we got a lot of new artists coming and saying,
hey, man, we want to be a part of this, right?
The face-off vibe is cool.
Get that Web3 energy out so that when the market comes back next month
hopefully um then everybody will have some some cool shit you know to show for it so you know
jump in promote like share repost the tweet we want to get the best nfts right for our guys to
draw the cool super cool one.
And we have a list of collections. We tried to pick out the top collections.
But if the art is cool, we'll throw it in the mix, right?
We're not exclusive to any collection.
We don't have partnerships with anyone.
So there's going to be no one, you know, to sway the vote.
It's going to be best art wins.
Love it. You posted another one up to the top yeah put mr jango you can check him out he's dope i can put
another cool face off we have a face off as well let me try and post that so i mean the art is you
know a lot of it is asian style but a lot of the artists have their own style. So it's not all going to be Asian fight off, right? It's going to be what the artist thinks is best. You know, um, Azuki's are good for
battle. Um, Pudgy penguins are good maybe for chilling out. Um, Bored Apes are good for scaring
people, I think, and the gods. So we'll see a lot of different styles. We give our artists full
creative freedom. So we say, draw what you different styles. We give our artists full creative freedom.
So we say, draw what you wanna draw.
We know you're good and they love this as well.
I think it's one of the way we're being,
we've been able to build up a great community
So creative freedom is important, right?
Instead of saying, you gotta do this, you gotta do that.
Just stick with the general vibe and do your best.
So that's what we're trying to promote.
We have Mexi back up here.
Looks like we have another artist, Sahar, up here as well.
So if you guys have any questions or anything, always weigh in.
Well, I know Mexi you don't, but I meant more for Sahar.
But, yeah, if anyone wants to request up, come up, say what's up. And, yeah, back to you, Mexi you don't but I meant more for Sahar but yeah if anyone wants to request up
come up say what's up and yeah back to you Mexi I don't know how I was supposed to take that but
I'm just gonna take it like I know a lot about G-Coy so I really don't have questions um I like
I like that I like that just talk I like. G-Coy highlights the collector and the artists like together because a lot of people are
collecting for art, but also for like the NFT status as well, especially with like
Azuki's and doodles and all those different things.
But I really think like it's a way to activate the community as a whole.
And so I really love what G-Coy is doing with it.
So what we're trying to do, you know, show the love, get the art out there, right?
Get banging art out there.
So many amazing artists, so much amazing art.
I put up another art style and we got even one guy who does like unbelievable pixel art.
He did a piece called The Lovers Pixel Art.
And that piece just blows me away because, you know, you can do amazing pixel art as well.
I know Keith's a big fan of pixel art.
I was just messaging my buddy, JC.
He has a really cool D-God.
I'm like, he should get in the competition too. He has a lot of N-R-T
so I'm messaging him right now. Get him
in here. But no, I agree.
We support the collections that
Got myself a D- with a mohawk
i love it it's a great time yo to buy nfts man i could never afford a d god before the crash
i mean this is like an epic crash you know but um it's not like you know take advantage of it
right a couple months my d god will go up like 5x and then I can, you know, if I want I can always cash in and
No, don't get rid of the donkey.
That's how we get it wrong
I was also going to say, please don't remind me of what
my bags are you know how down my bags are i'm happily not looking don't look don't look you
know buy some buy some nfts man great opportunity totally yeah just see the opportunity that's the
best part that's the best part and the best part is is when it's low it's it's exciting if it goes up
just a little bit so it's like it builds up the excitement a little bit if you're patient and you
can you know hang on and i mean obviously don't invest what you can't afford to lose but man what
a good time to ape into something right now that you've been waiting on y'all y'all can get a board
a mutant ape a mutant ape right now for like two ETH, y'all.
I dreamed of having one for a long time.
I'm like, man, I need one of these.
I could never afford it. So, yeah, man, totally one of these but the price the price was crazy could never afford it
so yeah man totally great time to show the love you know expensive pieces they're so worth getting
because they go up in value incrementally right um you know cheap pieces are cool if you're like
keith and you also want to share the love and support a lot of artists. So it's great. I get small pieces as well.
Like I think I just bought the, what was it? The Mutant Dogs collection by Unruggable.
They were just like 50 bucks and they're cute, right? The art is great. So, but them big pieces,
them opportunities come across once in a lifetime, you know, to afford them.
All right. I got my baron coming in here to listen
when he gets in here we'll have to give him a breakdown of the contest one more time i was
telling him just like the in layman's terms what it was but but yeah that's what's up
so basically this is a fan art contest for your featured like big pfp right so if we were going to do one of
baron we would do maybe of his pfp and we get a bunch of artists to come together and they'll win
if they do the best one for him yeah so a couple of artists will compete for each piece you know
we want your pfps the pieces that you love the most right because it's like you know you're
gonna give about wicked fan art of your pfp so then you can totally promote it it's your pfp it's
your ip we don't own the rights to it right so you know the pfp owner is the winner all the pfps
that go up um they were technically the fan art belongs to them. We're working with a new platform called Singular.
So Singular will allow the art, the PFPs to be linked back on the blockchain.
I need to ask HomeClubHero if he drops on to explain it, but it basically links the
fan art to the original NFT and links it to the project.
So if you go pull up the project and you pull up
the nft you can see all the fan art done for that nft which is also cool right because when you buy
an nft now you're not just getting the nft the fan art kind of moves with it right so you know
normally you buy an nft it's hot it's got a cool trade but if you can then look up an nft and you
see like 50 pieces of amazing fan art that um
are connected to that nft that kind of move with it from bar to bar then that's cool you know because
i will say a lot of the time you know the fan art blows the nft away right i mean the nft is a
status symbol but the artist doing the fan art sometimes they're just in such a different league. But technically, IP is IP, right?
So if it's your NFT or you buy that NFT, that fan art moves with it, right?
If you bought, say, an NFT with one of the characters we just posted, that fan art then moves with the NFT.
You can totally print that and stick it up on the wall, you know?
The piece I just put up by Mr. Zhang, if you check it out, he won
the Kaze Art Contest. I mean, that piece is mind-blowing. Totally, if you're into Asian
art, but even if you look at the lovers that we posted, a lot of this art, it's totally
the caliber where you can print it and put it on your wall. I mean, how many people print
their PFP and put it on the wall? But this type of art, you totally can.
Yeah, I think that was a good breakdown.
Yeah, he's listening right now.
He's in a meeting, but I'm sure, yeah,
I'm sure he'll definitely like to get involved.
But he says he's never heard of you guys before.
I was like, yeah, well, they're kind of newish,
but they've been building for a long time.
We're like four months, right?
I'll reach out to him too.
I've been like that weird person in the DMs,
like reaching out to people like, hey, I would really love for you to participate.
And they're like, did you get hacked?
And I'm like, no, no, no.
I've been doing the same thing, Melina.
You got to craft it right.
I think it's just because people are like, what is she doing?
She's never asked me for my PMP, right?
So, yeah, it's been fun, though.
It's been fun in the DMs, too, you know.
So, yeah, I'll reach out to you, Baron.
He's got a sick PFP, and it's pink, you know.
I think the artist could do some cool shit
Yeah, we're going to do cool shit with everything, right?
And at the end of the day, it's no cost to the pft owner you know
technically their ip so the fan art you know it's there they can take it afterwards they can pimp it
they can promote it they can use it for their banner they can do whatever they want you know so
but um yeah gaining exposure not just for the nfts but the holders as well you know some of these people own some amazing nfts
and you would never know right i mean you see the pfp it's tiny but i mean some of these guys have
some mind-blowing nfts with amazing traits right so it's gonna give some great exposure to to those
pieces and to the owners some of them are shy but i mean mean, if you're pimping it as your PFP on X,
then I mean, how shy are you, right?
Don't be shy. Don't cry. Sorry, I'm just going to grab a coffee and be right back.
All right, cool. Let's say hi to Sahar. I know she she's an artist she's been up here for a little bit
good morning good morning how are you what do you think about this art contest how's your day
um good evening nft kids girl and joshua uh i'm good i'm good and i'm very happy, glad to be in this space and very exciting for me to hear about this contest.
And I just have a question about the contest.
Yeah, yeah, let's hear it.
The PFB, should the PFB that we design, inspired by G-Coy and minted in a special platform?
Basically, you would be recreating in your own art style a certain PFP, correct, Malena?
uh melena right so yeah yeah exactly yeah basically if you look at the the comments
on the the post you'll see a whole bunch of um pfps going on people are posting their pfps
so essentially you choose one that you like and then you draw that you draw that in your own
style you draw it as a character you can do whatever you know if it's um however you you
you know coolest form we're gonna have two style of art submission submissions one they'll be you
know we're not going to ask artists to go crazy it's going to be 30 days the actual contest we'll
announce that in about a week once we have enough pieces um you can do one character in a great
environment um like the piece we posted of mr zhang upon the jumbotron um or you can do one character in a great environment, like the piece we posted of Mr. Zhang up on the Jumbotron.
Or you can do two characters in a face-off.
So you can choose any two that you want to draw and then put them in a face-off against each other.
So if you want to do something beautiful and touching, then you can just put a single character like in a pond or in the
forest. If you want to do some exciting and energetic, then you can do two characters,
you know, doing anything. They could be back to back or they could be against each other.
You know, whatever vibes you feel like. So you've got creative freedom. Do it in your style. You
know, try to do it in the style of the piece that you're doing.
So if you're doing an Azuki, then definitely you want that Asian influence.
If you're doing a Pudgy Penguin, then you probably want that American-style Walgreens influence.
Yeah, they got them in Walgreens.
So if you appeal to American people who love Walgreens... It's not Walgreens. What is it called? It's Walmart. Yeah, they got them in Walgreens. So if you appeal to American people who love Walgreens,
it's not Walgreens, what is it called?
It's like France and Italy, you know?
So yeah, you do whatever style you want to appeal
to who you think is going to love the piece the most.
Thank you so much for the explanation.
I think it's a very cool contest and very exciting.
Yeah, if you want to join up, just drop a comment on the thread,
and you can send us a DM.
I mean, the art contest, we're going to host it on Raid.
So it will be hosted on a contest platform. We're going to have a social vote. So, you know,
your friends, your family, they can help to vote on the pieces. The PFP owner, they'll vote on the
piece as well. And then right now to try and make the contest as fair as possible because a lot of these contests
they're loaded right so like some big millionaire dude has a pfp you know you people want to tend
to make his piece win so we're gonna basically we're trying to recruit two or three very very
high-end digital artists not necessarily from the nft space um like i would love to have shelby keith
as one of the judges to judge the pieces so
that the pieces are being judged you know really based on quality of the art not what's behind it
yeah i talked to shelby yesterday so i'll have to head her up. I actually, I invited her to a space,
but she said she just moved to some crazy cabin.
She gets like no service.
So I said, okay, yeah, whenever you can.
But yeah, it should be cool for a judge.
When would all this judging take place?
When does the whole contest?
So we'll probably announce the act, the contest, the rules,
and so on in about a week's time.
So it'll kick off in a week.
So we're giving it a week to get as many pieces as possible.
We're going to need to have some rules as far as which pieces.
So we've told artists pieces they like.
Go and drop a comment on them so we can help to tag you.
Because we don't want everybody drawing the same one because it's like some millionaire dudes thing, right? We want to try and get equal attention to everything. So we're
trying to figure that out. So in about a week, we'll kick it off and then it'll be 30 days.
And then normally it takes a week to pull everything together and do the judging, right?
So, I mean, a month is fair, especially for this type of contest, right? Artists can create amazing piece in a week to two weeks, but they got to eat, right?
So we figure a month gives them time to put time into the contest because not everybody's a winner.
We're trying to be fair with the prize money as well to make sure that, you know, everybody gets something. And the deal we have with Singular, if the PFP owners approve,
then we'll be able to actually sell the fan art on Singular
and like 50% of the sale goes to the artist.
So it means that artists can make a little bit extra on the side,
even if they weren't like, they didn't win the big prizes.
So trying to be as fair as possible and make everyone happy,
which, you know, this is Web3.
but, you know, you got to do your best, right?
I love that you're giving such an opportunity.
I mean, because honestly, think of back in the day.
I mean, like, you know, like, we're kids.
Like, we're playing video games.
And, like, we're drawing.
And I remember drawing and sketching stuff, like, all the time.
And it's like, now we're adults.
And now everything that we did as a kid is monetizable.
Like if you want to be a video game gamer, if you just want to play video games all day, you get paid for it.
If you want to develop video games, you can get paid for it.
If you want to draw pictures all day long, you can get paid for it.
If you want to color all day long, you can get paid for it.
It's incredible. It's incredible.
Our world and our life it. It's incredible. It's incredible. Our world
is incredible. I'm such a Web3
about Web3. I do. I don't like
the scamming. I don't like the scamming. It pisses me off.
But that's in all worlds.
The scamming is in all worlds. I get it.
I totally get it. And this needs to stop.
to stop. It's time. It needs to stop. Let's not get it. And this needs to stop. I'm just a PSA. It needs to stop. It's time.
Too much hard work is going on.
Let's not get political, okay?
No, scamming is definitely not political.
There's always someone that's got to go reach into someone else's hands
because they want to be up top, right?
know what i mean yeah but i was gonna say um what i find interesting about about crypto and art and
whatnot like i'm still relatively young like i'm not i'm not gen z but i'm young but i don't know
like i want to see like hands in the audience like how many of you were told growing up as a kid like
you know, acting is not like, you know, like I just remember being a kid and like my mom used
to tell me like, this is not a job. Like you, you got to go to school, get to work. Like,
so I just find like low key, I find kids lucky this time around because like we understood that
like you, like I always tell my mom like you know like playing video games made
a lot of kids rich you know what I mean like so it's so interesting to see how like like evolution
you know just in terms of like jobs and like and like what that looks like and like actually being
creative is seen now as a real life skill you know I, I think like back in my day, like it just wasn't, you know?
So I'm like, I'm excited for this contest,
but also for like what this means for a lot of artists,
because I know Joshaka could talk about it too,
but like we're not only, you know,
for us the art contest goes beyond like just like America
and like this is like borderless.
Like we are talking about
artists from all over the world we're talking from you know artists in Vietnam in Thailand
in Jamaica right so like we are trying to get a lot of people who you know for a lot of them just
didn't have these opportunities or just could not have these opportunities if it wasn't for crypto
I don't know just I want to talk about that that no yeah 100 i mean like we have some artists um we have some artists and they post their pieces
and like some of the azuki fans go man that's so amazing you think this is some hardcore japanese
artists and we got they're like one of these dudes he's from kazakhstan right kazakhstan you
know and he's kazakhstan is i don't know if you would say that's first world, right?
It's definitely maybe not as easy living, but, you know, the bringing opportunities to people.
We got artists everywhere.
We got artists in, actually, we got an amazing artist in Nigeria, in France, in a bunch of artists from Thailand, from Korea, Vietnam.
And, I mean, we have actually a collective.
You're going to see some of their work soon that we're working with. We met up with a couple of
really good Vietnamese artists and, you know, they have a very hard time there making money.
So I encourage them to put together a collective. So we've got like 10 artists together and we're
going to help promote them. You know, so we try to help the artists as much as possible and true to what i said you know
my son actually he's into playstation he's on the playstation all day long right and my parents
told me you know it will rot your brain if you do this stuff and we actually put him in game school
in an esports school and he's doing e-sports tournaments.
And some of these e-sports dudes, they make like a million bucks a year, like you're saying.
You can make money off of just about everything nowadays, and especially artists, man.
The blockchain has really changed things.
I think AI is the big enemy, right? But I think people realize that there's a huge difference between
art that's made with a spirit and a soul and art that's made by a machine, right? So, I mean,
if an AI creates a piece of art, the AIs create amazing art, right? But at the end of the day,
if you can do it with a bunch of prompts, I can do it as well. So, it's great. It's pretty, but
it doesn't have the value like when you purchase, when you buy a piece of art and you know that sweat and blood went into it so i don't think we're worried
about that whole side when it comes to art with value you know what what is concerning is you see
people doing ai collections and not telling people it's done by ai i mean we there's a couple of
amazing ai artists have bought their nfts but they're doing solo pieces and they blend it.
You know, so they're using AI as a brush, not just to do something on MidJourney and post it up, right?
But, I mean, even a prompt programmer is not actually a big deal, like you're saying.
You can monetize anything, right?
And that's thanks to Web3 and thanks to the blockchain.
And that's thanks to Web3 and thanks to the blockchain.
I want to add something to Shaka, and then we can go to T-backs because he has his hand up.
But the cool thing, too, and I hope you're OK with me saying this, but GQ is going to be doing a really cool space in the near future, highlighting ways to monetize artists as like like individuals but also in web 3 and so like that's
another reason i'm incredibly bullish on what you guys are doing is because i'm so big about artists
um in general and with the ai wave coming like you said like it's not the same because ai doesn't
have the energy so you know it's it's much different um but teabag hand up
all right gmgm everybody gm good morning to you all nft keith to shaka
galinda vas maxi carts sarah everybody in the listener section, thanks for having me.
Jashaka, it is a big thing you got going on.
I really love what you're building.
I've been following your project for a while now, and I will tell you, I really love what you're doing.
Okay, so I'm a visual artist right so my question is
and i know uh coy has a lot of artists that they work with so my question is
when the quest the competition the art contest when it starts is it going to be for just the artists working on that decoy or it's going to be working for everybody yeah
anybody i mean we're gonna have some barriers right because the last contest we did um we had
a lot of high-end artists who came in and we had a lot of beginner artists who came in as well
and a lot of the beginner artists you know they put their heart and their soul and they worked
terribly hard on their work but when you compare it to the submissions by the
high-end artists it kind of just blows it away so we want to encourage artists
you know and so I felt very bad for a lot of these guys I mean there were some
pieces that I mean I would say they were they were not good but you could tell how much work went into it by
the artist and i feel that with every competition there is a bit of disappointment um you know like
if you went into a race with brian armstrong or whatever right then and you thought you have a
chance of winning you know you got no chance of winning, you know, you got no chance of winning, like fighting Keith, right?
You know, you're not going to win, right?
But if you think you're going to win,
then you're going to be disappointed
when he knocks you out in two seconds, right?
So, you know, we want to try and make sure
to try and figure out how to make it fair, right?
So if you're not an amazing senior art
or you don't have the experience,
then just know you're doing it for fun right um and
we're going to try and figure out ways to to do some awards for you know for good effort right
because you know we don't want to tell you you know you can't compete because you're not grade
a you got grade a you got you know different types of artists and it's more fair if they're judged
based on um on kind of the work done.
The cool thing about NFTs and PFPs is that, you know, you can choose an NFT that fits your style, for instance, right?
I mean, you can draw, we have a wizard up in Ordinal's, for instance, right?
No, you can draw that as a freaking modern day age wizard looking like Gandalf summoning a freaking serpent, right?
But you can also draw it in ordinal style, right?
So if you look at the ordinal style, that's like basic, they're throwback art, right?
So you can do a throwback piece and at the end of the day, the NFT owner's vote is going
So, I mean, if I spent 20 grand on an ordinal, I may not want a piece of art that is so different from the piece itself,
but maybe I do, right? So I think the PFP style art contest opens doors where all art can be
appreciated and the contest will be open to everyone. We just want to make sure that people
know there's going to be some good artists, but in the same token i think we'll have like 20 winners right um based on the prize schedule so a lot of people will win um and we're
going to try and find out more ways to reward people um who just put their put the effort in
our last contest you know we had a dude man i'm going to totally post it up It was a digital art contest, but this dude actually drew with chalk on a
chalkboard some dude from Vietnam with no shoes, no phone, and he actually drew the art on a
chalkboard. And it's amazing the effort that went into it. No, I mean, it's a digital contest and
this guy actually drew the thing. I'm going to find it and post it. It'll blow you away.
Right. So, I mean, it's kind of like, how do you reward that kind of effort if you have rules right so we're gonna try and make sure we
can accommodate everyone and i'm gonna try and find that piece if i could post it up it's so dope
well i love when people use alternative uh mediums to do artwork i knew this dude. I was the vendor coordinator for Seattle Hemp Fest for
over 10 years. And we would do art contests and we would do cool things like that. And there was a
dude, no joke, he would take roaches, like smoking roaches, not the animal, not the, not the
crittle, not the little insect, but like actual roaches. and he literally would create incredible artwork and it was all these
like brown and black tones but like it would be like faces and it would be like it was you know
how people do that like you'll see marbles or you'll see something and you'll see a couple
and they'll pull out and all of a sudden it's this rad face he would do that with literally roaches
amazing there's amazing talent is that crazy
people are brilliant so to answer your question dude anyone can um take part right and i do think
if you look at you know a lot of the pfps that are going up um i think with this contest you
know the idea is more to appeal to the owner so to create something that you think the owner is
going to like because then he's going to help to
if I had an ordinal, I may like
ordinal art. Who knows, right? But I think
it's going to be very interesting and a different
twist on an art contest, right? Because
more true to art and true to the artwork that you're working with.
So, yeah, man, you're in.
Yeah, that's really cool and well detailed.
One thing I understand about projects that has a long time, a long time building is when they think about the community a lot.
And I see that is what you're doing, Mr. Cheshaka.
And then I have one more question.
I'm an artist. I do mural arts. I make doodle art.
So my question is, is this contest only for digital artists or other medium of artists who are really professional?
Yeah, I've seen some of your pieces.
I would say that if you can capture it so it looks as digital as possible. It's a digital submission.
So, I mean, if you do, I mean, actually, if you check my X, I got some wicked.
I'm a big fan of graffiti.
I think we're going to define the rules.
I mean, you know, if it's a digital art contest, then technically it needs to be digital.
But, you know, if you can take a picture of your piece in a way where it looks as digital as possible, you know, make sure you got good light, crop it and submit it.
Then, I mean, I'm sure that that's going to fly.
But I've seen your graffiti, dude.
I would love to see a G-Coy graffiti.
If you can do a graffiti with my death car i do that would be in
heaven i i okay uh not to you know um i have something working in the background i'm i'm
doing something for decoy and i'm gonna be posting a thread real soon it is gonna to be amazing. It's going to be one of the biggest job I've ever done.
I'm priming the world currently.
I didn't want to tell you,
I'm still going to hit you by surprise
are not seeing it coming.
Galen DeVas, everybody in the listener section maxi cards shout out to you uh i'm gonna drop my mic here because you know i have some things to
handle over i'll be in the listener section thanks for having me god bless you all
with me. God bless you all. Thanks for coming up, T-Bags. That's what it's all about. I love graffiti
art too as well. I grew up around a lot of breakdancing b-boys and urban, I guess, neighborhood
with people that did graffiti. So I have a lot of love for graffiti art as well and to see something like that with GKoi will be really dope thank you very much yeah what's the name of that dude that
I mean group people we call it graffiti and there's a bit of a it's kind of like nfts and
metaverse you never know if it's if it's a good word or a bad word at the end of the day I mean
so people call it different things but i think
graffiti is like you know nft is an nft right but you got that famous dude he does graffitis all over
europe and they're worth millions of dollars right what's his name you know that guy he does like
amazing art um and he graffitis puts it on walls i mean they call it murals, but yo, it's graffiti, and he's a million dollar
Keith, are you there? How we doing?
Keith is working it. He working it, yo.
So, who else got their hand hand up We can bring someone else up
I just wanted to hear your voice Keith
I was just trying to hear your voice
Don't start giving me shit
I want to give a shout out
You can be quiet now Keith
I want to give a shout out to some of the people
In the crowd that I love so much so like phoenix crypto is here she is a beautiful person
and she has the most beautiful voice in all of web 3 um and she's always supporting nft artists
and even collections so shout out to phoenix my homie moon um needs no introduction because that's the fucking homie. And then one last person I'm going to call out real quick.
Fucking Bam, get your ass up here.
You haven't been in key space in I don't know how long, Bam.
Bam, I haven't heard your voice in, like, ten years.
In a good way like you know when we show here like early and then i come back and i go with i come back with good news that's the whole thing yeah you stay grinding for the how the
fuck have you guys been i've been good i've i've been trying to you know hop in some different
spaces and and network with you
know a bunch of different people in web 3 um but i'm always keeping up with the neighbors and you
know the chat you guys are always just y'all never stop it's crazy but that's how you get to the top
right i'm sorry that we're a little extra apologies yeah definitely you you are the probably the most
extra of the big neighbor community but
that's why we all love you of course see cat put the blame on me see keith
it's all good i'll be the i'll be the target practice don't worry about it yeah when bam's
here like i won't even throw shots at keith it all go to bam so like we want to have bam here
more often right yeah that escalated quickly.
Well, if you knew the history,
I've been hitting Bam up for like a month or two and he doesn't respond,
so it's actually fucking crazy.
Oh, so she's already got it locked and loaded for you, bro.
It literally, the slingshot's already pulled back,
so she's just waiting for the target.
Kat, this is why I came in
with full protective gear.
I had a fucking ballistic
who's going to fight the shilling villain.
Honestly, I'm waiting for this Paris fight.
And then that'd be insane.
It's not in Paris anymore.
Oh my god, this just got sexy.
Yeah, he's sponsored by G-Coy too.
And they're working on some sick stuff for him
yeah it's gonna be sick what i missed out on yeah bam like get dressed in here and you know
chat with us more listen my love support i'm a social fighter i'm trying to get around everywhere
as i can there's only little bits of me and... Listen. That's such a good name for you, social art.
I'm like, I felt like it was a little spicy,
so I'm like, all right, I feel like that was another question.
I'm like, all right, where is she at?
So, Bam, any cool P&Ps you have?
Not your profile pic, I'm sorry,
but do you have any like cooler ones that
we can get in this art contest no i feel like you have like a knockoff ape i don't know like i'm
sorry i just like i'm lena i'm gonna need you to i'm gonna need you to just hold up hold on a second
why oh it's on solana okay okay that no it's even that. That is one of the best communities I have joined ever in this space.
And, Bam, can you just put her on, like, give her a good one-minute show real quick, please?
What you're looking at is a 10,000-piece collection that was half of a half a penny to mint.
All you needed to hold was
big and then that collection is a 1500 piece MPL 404 collection with RWA backed it's a beautiful
thing that was only a two and a half soul at price evaluation of pre-sale everyone got dollar for
dollar cost basis which never happens in a pre-sale in the last three and a half months near two and a half sol is now 38 and a half sol after
liquidating into tokens after paying the 15 tax that goes into the rwa wallet which will be there
to keep the project sustaining also to then prop initially purchase said property what you're
wondering is like the rWA itself is the five
cabins planned on being built upstate New York and the five cabins itself. 300 days for the MPL
4-4 holders are there for your booking, for your pleasure. One cabin per MPL 4-4, so that's for the
cabin, not per person. And the other 65 days is going to be for the five cabins to book Airbnb,
Vrbo, or private listings. Also added revenue for the project itself to keep it self-sustaining
without needing to, for instance, sell its position in the chart, which every other dev
does, for instance. The multiple streams of revenue that have been planned to keep the project going along
is um what sets us apart um project's been built on chain for over three years
uh pre-seller has never been in a negative pnl in three and a half months
not a dollar has ever been sold out of the project every wallet has an sns id wallet
so you can audit me instead of me just making claims because that's
fucking childish. Are you guys gonna invest any of the money into actually finding the big MF-er?
Like somebody to find them? What's cool is I don't reveal much but we've always left footprints for
that reason. For those that... That would be cool content, bro. Well, look at this.
Yeah, I mean, you want to giggle, to be honest with you.
Just look at the traits and tell me where the traits come from.
And then you could do your own, you can make your own assumptions from there.
I want to say where they come from
They come from the different lore
Of all the different stories told of Bigfoot
I've always been a believer
I don't care what anybody thinks
And I think little details like that matter
That's speaking on the art
But you guys got a lot going on behind it
the gentleman who he created all that rwa stuff what's his name mc yeah you know so suppose like
for specific reasons which i cannot disclose i'm unable to travel to the united states right
so what do i do with my cabin i'm'm so glad you asked, my brother. Why
wouldn't you rent them out? That's for you to earn, for your income to acquire, not for us to touch.
That is your day, completely up to you with that cabin, and to which you do is up to you again.
So that's also the, I would like to call the arbitrage opportunity for those that don't plan
on traveling, but want to strictly see it as an additional revenue income base. As an added bonus, we plan on building with PawChain,
to which the conversation has started at one point. We haven't signed anything yet,
haven't started building yet, but that would be where our ROI base would come forward.
The holders, it would be an airdrop token essentially built on Paul chain.
So what you could sell at any time,
because it would then protect you for that case
because it's strictly an airdrop ROI based token
to where, again, you strictly are there to sell
to which we're playing on adding for the holders.
So yeah, definitely not fucking around.
Definitely not always saying anyone's time, not anyone's money uh we got our llc and our eim number through the
state of new york uh a little over three weeks ago and i want to say just going on we are now
going on our eighth day being funded by victus um capital a vc um with over 10 billion in assets
so it's that's been a really cool pleasure as of like you're
pimping it yeah bro and i'll tell you what so these nfts they're they're they're pixel art i'm
looking at the art here they're pixel art ns no not pixel no uh these are not technically pixelized
art there's um just fan-made art that would be produced by the community and we just like
supporting other artists to be honest with you for their talents just one of those things that we've always been doing
but and the collections on south correct the mpl 404 is bigfoot again on magic eden soul sniper
or tensor and then what you're looking at my pfp that's just an nft itself that's a big neighbor
and right now we're at a 0.1 a 0.35. 0.135, sorry.
And again, that was a half of a half a penny.
And not to mention, it's the only reason my phantom wallet is not bleeding right now. Like, straight up, when MC said bye not not financial advice but kind of when he
said bye oh shit did i mute her yeah on purpose yeah thank you definitely on accident sorry about
that maxi okay back to mute okay anyways i got this d god there. I have a face-off with Jashaka.
You're a Zuki versus my D-God.
Did you put it in the Jumbotron?
So I was just like, is this the one?
There's actually one that I wanted, and Then somebody sniped it within like a minute.
And I got Becky over here in the background barking at him. He's so cool.
I looked at it like it would be cool to see an artist kind of recreate it.
So I was like, this has a lot of detail.
I have to say something relaxing hearing like two men compare their D-God.
Like, I don't know what it is.
My mohawk against your wings, dude.
I think my mohawk will take him down with a headbutt.
I'm a little bit of a devil.
So just like it's apparent. It's very up front.
Like, I'm not full of fear.
Art is going to love him, man.
They can blow him up totally.
Yeah, there's a the high-resolution
version I could send it over so
Yeah, I'm gonna totally this piece is dope so you need to drop it in the comments you drop it in the comments
Will right now yeah, it is drop drop a picture of the image in the comments and say
And then I'm sure you're going to get some face-offs.
They got some amazing D-Gods, man.
I saw this dude posted a D-God with like a snake wrapped around him.
I mean, I didn't realize they got so deep in the accessories and so on with the D the D guys Now I mean before I had one I was like what's that some dude some old-looking dude
But they some of the art is mind-blowing like check out the wings on this. It's so cool
This is why NFTs are priceless, you know
Well done well done sir well done
alright I just put it in the comments
drip dragons come up here and say what's up
he's an aspiring young artist
there's actually a lot of artists in the audience so like if anybody's like wants to come up speak talk um just share your art share your pieces like please feel free to do so because i i'm
looking around and there's a lot of you but not many i'm coming up so it's an open panel everyone's
nice keith will be nice um yeah be. I actually do want to ask artists.
And if you guys are timid, you know, scared to come up, which is totally understandable.
There is a purple pill at the bottom. You can ask your questions or, you know, I do have a question for artists.
You know, we've been talking about how the market is is doing what the market is doing right now.
How are artists doing right now um how are artists um feeling right now do you
are you guys like feeling like you need to sort of like pivot your ways are you guys trying
different chains like i'm wondering how artists are putting themselves out there right now
i don't know if anybody wants to comment on that yeah
Well, while we wait, I mean, I will say that the artists we work with, they're making money on ETH, they're not making money on other chains.
You know, quite a few artists, I mean, unless there's a big community behind that chain, you know, and usually big communities don't buy solo pieces.
You know, and usually big communities don't buy solo pieces.
So I've seen a lot of artists like who sell on foundation, for instance, and they tried selling on bass and they couldn't give their stuff away.
And so, you know, for a while, foundation was pushing bass hard.
I saw a couple of collections that launched on bass, same problem.
So I know a lot of the artists we work with are are doing quite well
um on foundation on eat with solo pieces right but it'll be good to hear from some other artists
out there who are selling um keith you put up your hand you're not an artist i don't know what
i'm doing here look i i wanted to just tell you about this story back in the day. I never, everyone has
their like little rug story, but last year I got hacked and I just saw a memory of it. So I just
thought it was funny. And I had some of my D gods in this one wallet that I never give anyone. And
then I got hacked, blah, blah, blah. So my mom like was coming over to my house one day and it was like
right when it happened and i was in my like computer room and i was like no not my d god
and i said it like just like such a little bitch and my mom heard me and she's like what happened
did somebody die what happened and i was like no my d my D God, he got hacked. He got stolen. And then she just
looked at me with this face, like, like, wow, I created this guy. Like what's happened? Like,
it was like this weird turnaround moment. But now like I bought another one today. I got to just
tell her I thought it was hilarious. Like mom, I got another D God. And she's going to start
laughing. She just thinks it's funny. She thought it was just like the biggest little bitch in the world biggest little bitch wow i'm great with words i'm really great at making
sense too just so you know and yeah i'll be here the rest of this space if you need pointers on
life you know i could probably steer you in the wrong direction great anyways i just thought that
was funny i was like no not my d god my D-God. Oh, my God.
Yeah, that actually happened, but in a different way in my house one day.
And my kids were over when I moved to Madrid.
And they were doing all, you know, I'm like, help me unpack.
They wouldn't help me with nothing.
So I went and I switched off the Wi-Fi.
My God, you'd have thought like I blew up the world. They were like, you turned off the Wi-Fi. My God, you'd have thought like I blew up the world.
They were like, you turned off the Wi-Fi?
It was like the worst thing I could have ever done was turn off the freaking Wi-Fi, man.
I thought of my kids with that all the time.
I'm like, act up. I'm going to unplug it right now
I couldn't talk on the phone
I couldn't call my boyfriends
I had to like either use the internet or get on the phone
What was life like when it was black and white
Yeah it was like the most evil thing
i could do unplug our atari she literally was like she didn't plug our atari like she would
leave for work and we would literally go and plug it right back in like plug it right back we think
kids are stupid parents yeah don't do that don't don't don't unplug it and then leave take that
shit with you i know them plugs come off.
Yeah, they used to take the plug off my TV. They used to take the plug off my TV growing up when I was proud.
You got to. They know too many tricks. I mean, back in the day, I mean, we were ruthless.
We were anything to get to our video game. I mean, you guys want to hear something really bad.
This is so bad. This is like probably so bad. As a kid, we knew my mom got us the latest video game, my sister and I.
And we saw the box under the Christmas tree.
I swear this is so bad, you guys.
We wrapped it back up and put it back under the tree.
And so on Christmas Day, my mom literally had no clue.
Like, we had already been playing it for, like, two weeks at least.
And we just acted all surprised.
And I don't think she ever knew.
Y'all are first to know, besides my sister.
Just totally outed my sister.
If you're going to take their stuff, take their stuff.
You can't just unplug that shit.
They're going to walk right back in and plug it back.
I think when you dropped Atari, I think you also just outed yourself.
400 or an 800. Was it Atari 800? Oh, no. I was all in pong the pong. Oh, I was a I'm an Atari girl from way back. I had no shame. No shame zero
zero shame in the game bro. None
Tari does rock bring that shit back. I got I bought one on eBay about an Atari
I bought a whole bunch of um of old stuff
So I got my own little museum. I don't feel that old anymore because the only thing I know is an Atari and I never played it
So I'm I'm chilling up here
Um real quick because I know that Keith mentioned Drip Dragons and he came up, so
I just wanted to go to him real quick. Drip Dragons, what's up? There we go. My connection
is pretty bad. Sorry, guys. I'm having a couple of lags here and there.
I just came out of high school a couple of minutes ago,
and I rushed back home to get on Keith's space here because I knew Jusaku was waiting for me here.
I knew Keith was waiting for me here.
And actually, I'm starting to see these know, see these people at every space.
I was looking down at who's, you know, listening here.
And I see that there are more and more people that I'm starting to know.
So, you know, it's a comfortable place for me here now.
I'm glad you feel welcome.
And, yeah, I mean, everybody's so supportive here, you know.
I gained, like, maybe a couple of hundred followers here from this space, so it's amazing.
And we know we did a giveaway last time.
So, I mean, now I'm always here.
I'm always, you know, running out of school, trying to do my homework as quick as possible
so I can come and talk here, talk about my art, my project,
or even talk about other people's projects, learn and everything.
You're in school, you're learning Web3, doing all this stuff.
Yeah, it's nice when the audience starts to look very familiar
because that means that you're putting in work in work in different spaces networking getting to know people um and and people in this
space show up for you so i'm glad that you're feeling good yeah of course um so i came in late
here so what were you guys talking about i heard that you were talking about maybe like how artists
were managing um like the new trends and everything
or i mean i came in late so what was the main subject before i arrived melina ask him the
question again yeah i was like main subject you forgot what this space is about um you're cute
drip you're young i love it um no i actually I had a legitimate question because we've been talking about how the market is going and whatnot. You're a young artist. How are you maintaining the work? Meaning like,
are you do you feel like right now you're having to change a little of the way you're selling your
art? Like I'm just asking, you know, artists here today on stage and whoever else wants to come up and please request to speak on how you're finding ways to maybe like monetize the art that you're currently doing.
I went to the NFT Paris Salon and I got to interview a lot of people of the space.
And the most famous person I interviewed there and who I'm now friends with is Matt Medved.
So he's from NFT now, right?
I think you guys know him all.
And the thing is that he told me that storytelling, you know, storytelling nowadays is something that was there before, that's there today and that will always be here.
And I think that, you know, now just selling your art isn't like it used to be. something that was there before that's there today and that will always be here and i and i
think that you know now just selling your art isn't um isn't like it used to be back then you
could sell out you know like 10 000 piece collections um in in a couple of days weeks
and um and uh and and now now you can't do that because there's been so many pfp collections that
have been out um people have bought what they had to buy.
And now you have to have something more than just, you know,
So whether it can be the audience following you grow on your journey,
you know, audience following you get, get better at what you're doing,
you know, just develop yourself,
or it can be having an actual product behind your
nft that you're offering um you know just storytelling and being able to to tell people
that there's not only the nfts that you're selling but also an experience and also a a back a background
to it you know all right before mexy calls me out i'm in the comments buying some art from artists okay
so i'm doing things guys let me cook i want to support some individual artists i know sahara
was just up here speaking earlier so i'm collecting some art from her right now so i'll post it up in
the comments so i'm not just collecting d gods and other nfts i'm
collecting from artists too i'm going to do some giveaways but we're chilling we're this is a chill
space we don't have any prerogative well we do have prerogatives but we're just not going to
give a fuck we don't have no beef we don't have no beef i'm staying very far away from all that
beef let me tell you this is a good space um but to go back to drip with
the storytelling i mean yeah i mean i i come from the world of television so storytelling
like it's weird because now it seems like such a buzzword but storytelling is the reason why people buy anything.
You know, I don't know about you, Drip, but I only buy from people I know, like, and trust.
So if you can put yourself out there in a way where people feel like they want to buy because it's you, because it's coming from Drip, because of the mission, because of what you're
doing, then yeah, totally, you'll find success i also think
for you even you know like i'm working with joshaka now too and like he told me about what
you're doing right you should totally totally be showing yourself i mean i don't know how you feel
about being doxxed but i think you being a young guy doing this from the ground he's got video of
himself on his ex yeah so i would I would say like, utilize the fact that
you're young, you know, like some of us are old drip. We're old. So utilize, um, no, but I mean,
just be like, yeah, like just be different. Um, it's interesting. Cause I do want to share this,
you know, when I was in television, so I have like curly, curly hair.
And I remember like growing up, like to be on TV, you know, you had to look a certain
way and be a certain way.
So I used to straighten my hair a lot.
And like one day, I remember like one of my producers was like, cause it was like raining
I was like, oh my God, I can't go on TV.
Like, you know, and, and my producer literally said to me, they're like, oh my God, you should
totally keep your hair curly.
Like this is going to differentiate yourself from everybody else.
So take that as like advice to like find what makes you different.
Hone in on that. And I think like storytelling is also about how you want to share what you're going through.
You know, like I talk a lot about the law.
Age, you know, even as a content creator creator self like there are days where it's gonna
suck but i still talk about those those hardships right because if we're only gonna be like this is
amazing like it's not relatable you know people really people want to feel like they know like
and trust you so if you can tap in on that mad mad dev is a goat with nft now yeah take his word
you know storytelling is the thing but yeah hey I got a question for you actually
I was supposed to he asked me to reach out so he minted out on base and it's very hard for to get
buyers on base unless coinbase gives you a little bump or puts you in their marketplace if anyone
has any you know it's worth talking to him about possibly reminting on ETH on the main chain,
because, you know, we got some really good developers on our team and it wouldn't be hard.
But I told him before, giving up, maybe we can get Coinbase because he's got an amazing story, right?
You know, started his journey at 14, did all the research, created the art, hand drew everything,
you know, started minting two years years later which is normal for a project i mean he's got a whole nft project right
um but i don't know if anyone has any hookups at coinbase that we could um put him in front of
because it would be a shame to have to remint if um we could get some help from coinbase right and
i think he's a times like this when the market is down,
his NFTs are not expensive.
They're like, he dropped the price from 30 bucks to 15
because base is a mission, man.
If you're not using base,
you got to swap funds, bridge funds.
If you're not collecting,
then you're going to have NFTs in your wallet
But if anyone has any hookups with Coinbase,
you know, try to help them out.
I'll give you some free advice.
Let them know you're minting your collection on base.
I would even say, like, a quick Twitter,
like, go into the communities,
figure out who's on base,
and familiarize yourself with the base people. I think what a lot of people misinterpret with crypto and this space is that depending on the chain you're on, it's going to be different people.
So if you're on base, go talk to the people who are building on base.
You know what I mean? Yeah, I found a huge bass account,
and they followed me, and I reached out to them,
and they just totally fucking ignored me,
like the head of the bass, whatever.
I think those guys, they're corporates, man.
I don't really think they're showing a lot of love for their community.
You got to work for it right i mean
before we give up and burn them out um you know do some some work you can also jump on linkedin
i mean i used to do a lot of scraping on linkedin you go on linkedin and scrape people right you go
if you can find everyone who works there scrape scrape them, try and DM them.
You've got to put in some extra work to be seen.
And sometimes it only takes one person to say, hey, wow, this is cool in those big companies. But I think a lot of chains, a lot of projects that mint all time these chains, they're not successful because the project is great, the art is great or anything.
It's because VCs invested $100 million in this chain and they need a success.
So then they heavily pump a project, right?
I mean, no disrespect, but like Baruchin.
I mean, what value do we need in another blockchain?
They launched Baruchin buddies, right?
I mean, it's not amazing art, but it's sold out in no time i mean is there
really 10 000 people on bear chain collecting bear buddies i mean again i'm not trying to be rude or
disrespectful in any way but i just think that you know these these new platforms right the only way
to succeed if you're on eth right then people? Then people, we all collect on ETH.
We all have ETH in our wallets. It's easier for us to buy based on we like you. We think you're cool.
You're doing a cool thing, right? But, you know, to mint out a couple thousand of anything on these
arbitrary chains that keep popping up, then you need to have the project, the chain behind you. Right. So it's probably
worth reaching out to base. I tried. I'll try again. I'll share the account with you that I
found. But, you know, before giving up, I mean, actually, I think giving up will be a great
example to other people. Right. So the only way, you know, if you're going to do anything, do it
on ETH, whether the price goes up or the price goes down, if you're going to do anything do it on eath whether the price goes
up or the price goes down because you're getting one-on-one to real people as opposed to um having
to be vc backed and have your your your stuff pre-bought by a community that's pre-funded
by a vc-backed project i mean this experience. Again, I don't want to burn myself
out because, you know, what I think is the truth. I don't know anyone got any feedback on that.
Bro, I think a lot of people on Ethereum went on base. Like everybody I know is like,
because it was cheaper, you know, the fees were cheaper. So like, they're not, well, no,
they are, they are, they are. It's because right now no one's using ethereum
but like i remember paying 200 for a freaking mint just on gas fees and yeah but they've fixed
that a lot right and i think the next release comes out they didn't fix it they went proof
of stake but the the fees were still always high that's been the joke on ethereum and i'm a big
person you know obviously but what i mean to say is like i don't think he did a bad mistake going on going on base
what i think is you need to figure out how to put your work out into the right eyes you need to go
on stages you need to request to speak more my man you're how old 16 you gotta grind this out
you gotta grind this out that's that's just what it is
right to come back to what you were saying before um so you know you were telling me to show my face
and everything um the thing is that i i do a lot of i do like mini vlogs i do i film myself um i'm
talking about you know my my journey to success um i'm talking about all these things and i actually
show myself i try to market myself you, like I was talking about storytelling.
Like now we call it marketing, we call it personal branding, you know?
And that's exactly what I'm trying to do.
But the thing is that I don't feel like that you have the same content
that you can put out on Twitter and on Instagram.
I feel like, you know, the post that I'm putting out on Instagram,
for example, I put out interviews that I did at the NFT Paris Salon.
I feel like that's not what people are interested in in Twitter.
And that's where, you know, I'm kind of struggling with the marketing part
because I thought it was going to be easier to actually get people to know you.
But then I realized that it's not.
And that even if Twitter is the center of NFT marketing,
that it's really hard to actually market yourself unless you're working with a
But I disagree because I need you to understand that like,
it's not going to be easy.
we'd have everyone up here on stage and everyone be venting.
And like, it can't be easy, you know? And like like i'm going to tell it to you straight as a creator myself it cannot be easy um you need to do more you need to put out more content you need
to be tweeting out way more i'm checking your page the last time you tweeted okay i'm checking right now um you need to do more but also yeah instagram and twitter i don't
know like that whole like that was five years ago put one video slap it on everywhere that's like
that's old marketing bro like that's like not even true anymore you know what i mean first of all
people on instagram don't give a fuck about nfts i've said this on so many shows because they don't need to care, right?
They're not going on Instagram for NFTs.
So if I were you, I would switch it.
Don't waste your time on Instagram unless you have 10K followers.
And you got to – I'll tell you this, Drip.
When I started in crypto, I thought the same thing.
I'm like, I'm going to be everywhere.
I had to full on focus on X because this is where everybody is.
I told that to Jashaka too, right?
Sometimes, you know, everyone can say whatever, but we're in crypto.
It's completely different.
The people here are different.
And I'm sure you've noticed this too.
Like I'll drop a meme on Instagram.
People are like, what is that? Who's Larry Fink you're like okay bro like you don't
get it you know what I mean so like I also think part of building your community is also for you
to figure out where that where those people are they might even be on Reddit I don't fucking know
but that's gonna be on you to figure that out and I would say don't lose hope post keep doing it um but you're gonna have to
keep doing it you know what i mean it's gonna be hard um maybe keith can buy your nft pump it up
you know but uh really i would say um focus on what your main mission is you know is it minting
out nfts or are you doing this for other reasons you know know, and focus on that. Man, we've turned this into a personal branding space, Keith.
Well, I got a question then.
I mean, who here collects NFTs on base?
Just please put up your hand.
I'm just wondering with this small community here,
Does anybody buy stuff on base?
I had people show me ApeCoin this week, so, you know.
Yeah, so I don't think one person put up their hand unless I'm wrong.
So maybe that answers your question.
Well, Jashaka is hating on base.
Jashaka doesn't understand that if America's going to be...
No, I don't hate anything.
I just look out for artists, right?
They tell you, you know, we're going to help you be successful
because why would you spend two years of your life to mint an NFT collection?
Two years of your life, especially, I think, when you're 14.
That's what, like, you know, that's like almost 10, 15% of your life
And then there's zero support.
Right, zero support, right?
And, you know, they have all this misleading information.
i'm vocal about this stuff i see it happen to a lot of our artists a lot of our artists it happens
right at the end of the day who cares if you gotta spend five bucks to mint an nft um as opposed to
five cents if people can actually buy it i think again look there's no blame i would just say people got to do their fucking homework bro
like this is you know part of the do do your own research figure it out figure out which chain you
want to be on i'm like i really don't like coinbase you know i'm in canada i fear that
america is gonna be fucked with the one chain one wallet type of thing that's a whole other topic
but you guys have to do your research you know i don't i don't have i never minted an nft project
i'm just saying if you feel like you messed up then figure out a way to change that and also
drip you're so young i would say it's so good to fail fail and fail fast and learn but move on you know what I mean
yeah a lot of projects remint a lot there's a lot of projects on ETH that are actually looking to
remint to be on 721c but I mean I think you know if we're talking about art and artists then
beware the sales propaganda of the corporate machines right they're selling their stuff
they're shilling their stuff.
You'll see things that are massively successful.
They're massively successful because of what's behind them, not necessarily because they have any real value.
But I think true to what Girl in the First said,
if you need to pivot, pivot.
There's nothing wrong with pivoting.
It's part of startup life.
A lot of startups I've been involved in,
You know, they pivot rapidly.
You know, that startup life.
D-Gods pivoted a fuck ton.
They got so much rate for that.
And Kongs was building a billion dollar brand. I know they're building a gaming community, right? So it projects pivot. I mean, I love Kongs. And Kongs was building a billion-dollar brand.
I know they're building a gaming community, right?
It's not necessarily also changing everything you've done.
Because some people think a pivot means, oh, my God, we've got to change everything.
I think something as easy as reminting on ETH, it's a huge pivot.
But nothing changes fundamentally, right?
You're still doing what you're doing.
And you still need to do what you're doing anyway right i think you know marketing selling promoting
yourself chasing leads you know giving away art building your community this is all all part of
part of the job you know but um yeah i would advise any artist beware um i think if you're
on like somewhere like foundation and they're
pushing base then you're gonna get buyers but you know i buy stuff on foundation all the time and
if i have to switch my wallet and bridge my funds and use my credit card i'm not buying
right uh joshaka i did want to ask you where would you recommend artists like how about raid is that
a good place to start like i'm just trying to see like how can we raid raid is contest so you know raid is just you know they've been through a little
transition because they raid kind of launched azuki they were a big part of the art contest
that built the azuki brand and you know they kind of all what were all in on the launch of anime
coin oh they're just wine test is gonna be on raid but
raise not a platform for selling art not right now um you know I definitely think
I've like I call live is a very cool problem for selling it but found a man
I'm build a page on nation if any art tell any foundation i mean people say seal dot of the
platform you can go i buy shit on i love it no i bind it information who built it how they
built it about the pieces that were ai piece afterwards and wow don't really yeah but the
art was amazing you know um still sell seal is cool, but they inform the artist.
You know, you go there and it's cheap, you know.
So if I was an artist, I would totally be on seal and foundation, right?
Foundation, sure, anyone can.
Foundation, you invite only.
So it was very curated the pieces were like, you know to Ethan up, but now everybody's selling on foundation and
Did we lose him Houston, we have a problem.
Houston, we got a problem.
It's that old Jamaica internet.
Real quick, let's say what up to Moon, because Moon's been up here a little bit.
I'm just hanging out today.
Title says NFTs and chill, so seems like a good place to do that and hang out working on some stuff over here awesome what are you working on do you have any tips for this uh 16 year old are you 16 drip i
don't even know i feel bad aging this kid i just turned 17. awesome moon any any tips for such a
good age dude such a good age dragons um no advice I mean, I don't know him that well.
I mean, it looks like he's in the right place doing the right things.
You know, he's not hanging out on video games or, you know, in the wrong spots on the streets or something like that.
He's trying to learn and get some money. So I don't really have anything to tell him he's doing good.
so I don't really have anything to tell him he's doing good.
All I got to say is if you're a hand artist
and you're drawing for hours and hours
and you're not working for a company,
the company's going to replace you.
So better get with the times
because they're speeding up real quick.
And anything that you're doing,
make sure you're slapping it on whatever you can,
a lunchbox, a towel, cards, anything, everything.
I mean, you're talking about a total rebranding, Disney going down, a lot of these other ones.
Look what Gary V's doing, building a huge brand.
There's going to be a huge gap.
Hollywood's going to be reinvented.
Directors will be able to direct from VR goggles and make movies amazing like you've never seen before. It'll be fantastic. Like you've never seen before
I wonder like are people scared of these robots coming and take our jobs?
They took our job. No, the problem is no the problem is that they're cutting the jobs right now
Nobody knows it look they're they're using government overreach and all this spending stuff. They're using that to get people
out of the government because they're going to replace them with the AI because they'll do a
better job and they won't have any bias and they won't have a hurt back or they won't get sick and
the kids and, you know, there won't be none of that. Like that'll make it more efficient.
People don't understand that.
It'll free up time for families to do other jobs.
I mean, if we're expecting crypto to do what it's going to do,
then that means that, you know, we're all going to have the money to do that.
And we'll be able to find other things and pursue our passions.
You know, that's why I made Web3 boards.
that's why I made web three bullets, web three, pursuing passion is life. You know, these are,
Web3, pursuing passion is life.
you know, real people that I made from web three created by hand. Uh, you know, the storytelling
goes a long ways. I started with a story and never broke from it. And, you know, I've been
working on it for four years and, uh, yeah, it's, it is what you make of it. All systems are changing
right now. You have to remember that.
Finance touches every industry around the world.
We're all trying to make money.
Now we make our own money.
Well, and the government's been talking about too,
being able to use your future savings like your IRAs and stuff in investing and possibly releasing our future.
Because could you imagine if like when we were younger, we could have taken our own Social Security and invested it?
I mean, if we would have taken be able to take our own retirement funds and invest them ourselves.
I mean, I know not everybody can can but i sure would have liked at least
the chance the opportunity to do that and like we're getting that now like they're actually in
talks right now about using our retirement fund letting us use our retirement funds yeah well the
companies the problem is too the companies that we've made popular we've set them a sale i mean
the nikes the apples all this stuff that went around the world you have companies
that siphon it outside the united states imagine a grocery store coming into a neighborhood
and not paving the road in front of it or at least doing some work around where they're going
to be extracting money from the community right i mean it ain't no different it's you know it's the
it's the old wheel and axle principle you know if the fucking axles off the wheel ain't gonna go right but you know i think
also i was gonna say you know what's most personal is most universal it's okay for you to i love that
you're leaning into our and you're telling a little bit about your personal story because
that's where people actually connect that's where people actually connect. That's where people actually, you know, Girl Universal saying that too.
It's like we connect when we realize we're all human
and like we all make mistakes
and we all fail forward and it's okay.
Like it's super okay to F up.
In fact, do it like she said,
because the most successful people
are the ones that took those risks
and that did fail forward.
And it's okay to look like an ass.
It's okay to show, you know, the worst side of yourself if you're willing to correct it and do something about it.
Because we all make mistakes.
But if we're willing to learn and do something about it, that's where the real growth is.
That's where the real humanity is.
You can see what, you know, really is a person's, you know, made up of.
You can see their mettle by how they handle a situation.
Well, being a founder isn't easy neither.
You're letting the people around you into your personal life as well, you know.
And I think that that's why a lot of brands, you know, you're not talking to the CEO of Apple every day.
You're not talking to the CEO of any of these companies that you buy their product from.
And Web3 becomes a very personal space in that sense, and especially for anybody that's trying to build a community.
It's going to happen like that.
It's going to happen like that.
You'll have holders that will hold you to the highest standard.
They'll try to interrogate you and tell you they want thousands of dollars for the NFT back that they bought for 20 bucks.
I've had my discord flooded.
I've had holders try to hack my discord.
It happens like and you can't prevent that because you're interacting with people. And the more you interact with them, you'll understand that, you know, a lot of these projects end up people in that they don't really know the creator at all or doesn't speak.
It's because, you know, you can't be held to that high threshold or be personable with everybody because you just can't.
it doesn't work. I mean, unless you're putting out content, that's you on the YouTube. I mean,
besides chatting, you don't get any personal, you know, time with that content creator or even
games. People have to understand games, man, games are made in studios where they don't even want
you to know what they're working on. We have creators out here that have great ideas that
are putting on OpenSea. You know, I'm on Open'm on open c myself but open c just allows the
company to take your idea you know with no charge i mean that's like great mmos too because mmos
that first start building they have a vision but you know what happens the community takes over
they tell the devs what they want you know and then they get all their ideas and feedback to
create the game even better uh in the vision and the eyes of the beholder.
So, yo, back to what you were saying about, you know, AI and all that.
Don't you think maybe a little bit of the problem there is that we're all kind of drinking the Kool-Aid?
How are we drinking the Kool-Aid when Illustrator already has AI implicated?
And all the video games and everything will be too.
Yeah, we're all using it.
We're using ChatGPT to write our polls.
We're using it for, like, all this shit we're doing while in the background it's stealing jobs.
So it's kind of hard to fight something that helps you at the same time.
Yeah, but if somebody still has to run it and give it a vision, though, it doesn't do anything without us.
I mean, companies are going to set it and forget it, but it's going to create content that has no base value, really.
There's no substance to it.
You have to put the essence into it.
It doesn't matter how you make it.
They used to chisel the art on stone.
Then we went canvas, and then we went this and that.
Art's in every different form.
I mean, the AI is only a tool,
and it's good or as bad as the person who uses it,
True, very true, very true.
My wife just showed me how she could use ai to fix like all these
photos she got and she's like blown away so there's upsides as well right lots well i think
it's gonna be like it's gonna be like it can't beat it join it like the tractor and the farmer
the farmer couldn't keep going with the horses when the tractor came out. Right. Same principle.
I mean, I was just going to say, just shocker.
Your wife utilizes AI like nobody I know.
She's she's got a personal trainer.
She doesn't cut out all expenses.
She's got a chef teaching her to cook, personal trainer, editing her pictures.
Like, I think it's dope because she's looking at all
the different ways to use it um you know just watch out she doesn't replace you no i already
feel replaced sometimes when she's reporting in and then she goes you know but you know i will
give everybody some good news there was a huge study that came out about a month ago where they said 80,000 people in Japan took part in this study.
And they found out that if you drink three and a half cups of alcohol a day, it reduces your bad cholesterol by like 90%.
So regardless of what is happening with AI, make sure you're putting in your time.
Make sure you get your three and a half cups a day.
That's three and a half cups of alcohol, not mixed, right?
Start your day drinking early.
I just smoked weed, Ashaka.
Yeah, you got to check out this study.
There's no cross-fading allowed.
That wasn't on the study.
No, it's life changing this.
I didn't drink. I wasn't on the study. No, it's life-changing this. I don't drink.
You know, when I grew up, my mom always used to tell me, remember, you don't like alcohol?
So I grew up not liking it.
But I saw this study, and I was like, man, I can get my cholesterol down.
You know, I can be healthy.
Just three and a half cups a day.
Everything wipes you straight out.
100% yo. Girl, I'm going to share it. It was by Harvard. I cannot wait to do tequila shots man. Tequila cures it all. Everything wipes you straight out. 100%, yo.
Girl, I'm going to share it.
I cannot wait to do tequila shots with you, Maxie.
Maxie on tequila shots is crazy.
That's all I'm going to say.
You're going to be at NFT NYC, Kat?
No, I'm actually going to be.
I help foster kids in the summer.
And I'm a camp counselor.
And so I am actually going to be in Lake Tahoe that week with one of my foster kids.
The younger kids have camped that week.
So unfortunately, I'm going to be in Lake Tahoe.
But I'm going to miss anything.
Real life fairy godmother.
You got to teach the kiddos about crypto.
And now we just added a team camp.
So we have a team camp and it's 100% sponsored.
Like every single kid gets the entire week of camp totally sponsored, totally covered.
They don't pay for anything.
They get new bedding. They get new clothes. They get a pillow. They get a sleeping bag,
a bedroll. I mean, a lot of these kids don't have food every single day. And so like they
get three meals a day. They get, we have nutritionists that come in and actually teach
them how to do nutrition. We do like fun activities with them. I sit around and we,
you know, talk about meditation and breathing.
And, you know, they have a lot of emotions.
They have a lot going on.
And so we have so much support and so much love.
But none of these kids or their families pay one penny for them to go to camp.
Like because most of these kids have never been to camp, never even seen a lake, never been in the outdoors or gone camping.
And we provide a very safe space for them.
You just want to take all these kids home.
It's hard to leave at the end of the week.
But I just want to take them all.
Talk about fairy godmother.
I'd be like that lady with all the cats, but with all these kids.
I'm the old mother husband in the shoe.
Because I got like about 1,500 kids I need to adopt, y'all.
Trying to get my mom and dad or their grandparents to be more like that.
Yeah, just get all these kids jobs, okay?
At 15, get a fucking job, okay oh you know you know i'm
gonna be running that mill you know i am them kids are gonna be doing artwork they're gonna
be playing video games and getting paid they're gonna be like on basketball teams these kids are
gonna be like oh they're gonna be running the world i did so many little jobs like growing up
just random shit like just so much stuff but it definitely gives you a lot
of life experience it's good to like try out different jobs to see what you like you know
see what's better for your personality type honestly and i think that you know like that
exactly what you're doing um wait, what's your name?
I think that, you know, that's one thing AI can't replace yet, and I'm very grateful for that.
And it's that, you know, that's human kindness and human connection towards others. Because it would be really creepy if AI could do that exactly like we do it, you know.
But I hope that AI will never be able to recreate what we, us humans, feel and our, you know, what we're giving out to other humans.
Because then, I mean, it's the only, I think for me, it's the only boundary, you know, that connection that you have made spiritual or even, you know, physical.
That connection that you have is the only boundary that's potentially going to, you know, separate us from technology, from AI.
So I'm glad that, you know, people are from, from technology, from AI. So I'm glad
that, you know, people are still doing good things out there. I'm still young, but I want
to do good things too. So very grateful for all of that. Don't ever lose that. I know, I know we're
talking a lot to drip about this stuff, but whatever, you know, right. Don't ever lose that
because the world will try to change you um and people
in the world hardships all that shit tries to change you and as long as you can like hold on
to that and you can always like let that be like your anchor then you'll do great in this world
um like one thing about myself that I like I would speak highly of for myself is I've always
been compassionate um and generous and I've been through a lot of things since I turned 18 I mean I've been through a lot
of things my whole life but you know like the biggest thing for me is I always like let that
be my compass and have intentions not expectations that's like my favorite quote to live by so yeah
I mean I think you're gonna kill it out I mean, I love seeing young people get into crypto. I had, I picked up my nephew from school yesterday and he's a senior
and he's like, yeah, my friends are talking about crypto. My friends have been talking about crypto
and I was telling them, y'all don't know about crypto. You know, like my aunt knows about crypto
and I'm like, yeah, you don't even know about it though because you don't listen to me.
But he's like, yeah, they're talking about meme coins and
nfts and i was like all right we're so back like we're getting there like the fact that
that next generation is picking it up um is exciting you know i'm always trying to teach
my nephews and my nieces about it and they're not excited about it but now it's like it's
sparking a little interest because their peers are talking about it you know so uh the next
generation is very important you know especially for what we're leading in web3
i totally agree with you and you know i don't understand who why why people would say that the
i mean only people who don't know anything about nft and crypto would say that um that this space
is dead that web3 is dead because in reality you know i was talking to my friends and same thing
you know people who are close to me, who I talk to every day.
And honestly, like maybe 99% of them, or I'm exaggerating the fact, but maybe like 70% of people have never heard of NFTs and some of them crypto.
And then you have 99% of them who haven't, you know, touched anything related to Web3.
Like they haven't bought anything or haven't traded anything on Web3.
So that's where we have also to play strategically where we have to initiate all of these people to the crypto space.
Because we're only like maybe 10% of the population or I don't know, like 15.
I don't know, just giving out numbers, you know, but who actually are in this space. And if we get like maybe more than, you know, 60% of the population,
then we would all, all become more successful in this space due to the amount of people who
are joining in, you know? So the problem is that we're, we're so many, but also so little in terms
of number, if you're, if we're comparing to the global population that is getting tougher
and tougher to outstand and to you know to sell out or even to just do things when when everybody
has seen um everybody else oh man so much vibrance and innocence and your your voice i could just hear
it you know just to give you a contrast mex, it's like a barren waste field,
and she's been through a lot, like she said,
and her voice has a lot of things behind it.
Yours is just so pure and innocent, bro.
You got a good head on your shoulders.
Stick around here with us.
You know, watch who you listen to,
but definitely hang out, like, man, loving the vibes.
Keith, I could say something right now, but instead, I'm just going to say I love you, Keith.
I'm really proud of you and all your achievements, and you're my favorite fighter.
I'm proud of you for being mature about that.
Literally, my whole insides started vibrating.
He's trying to bait me kill him with
kindness kill him with kindness oh my god what up cam how you doing cam you rolling through the
space tonight yes yes yes gm gm g to the m fam nfts and chill but first you gotta hit that purple
pill like a repost a room tax and friends tag some
frenemies send it to all those group chats that you're in don't ask for a permission don't ask
for forgiveness when they come back and say please keep this group chat group chat related tell them
crypto cam told me to just dm him that's the last you'll hear about because they'll probably kick
you out but it's okay because they will have heard about NFTs and chill.
There's the high part of it.
I don't know if anyone else is collecting.
No one's talking about it.
I have a question, though.
When you guys are collecting, okay. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.'s talking about it. Okay, I have a question, though. When you guys are collecting, okay.
Oh, boy, here's the question.
Do you typically go for, like, I'm asking, like, because I've met some people,
and they're like, I have to color coordinate what's in this wallet.
So, like, if there's something red, they have to have the next red thing.
Do you guys do any of that?
Like, how freaky are you guys when you're collecting?
You're really asking Keith that question?
There's no coordination for Keith.
I'll go through and look for certain traits and stuff like that in all the collections.
I'm like, I got to get that.
Yeah, I'm a little weird about it.
It's like getting dressed and finding that perfect outfit, I feel like.
I have a whole bunch of stuff in my wallet.
Then I go back and look at it.
I'm like, no, not that one.
Let me go back and look at these ones.
Yeah, it gets pretty bad sometimes.
No, we don't do that, Pam.
I just throw it in the bag.
I just throw mine in the card and check them out.
Confirmation confirmed in the wallet.
You could be the oddball.
Pam, do you color coordinate your clothes in your closet?
Yeah, you're an organized motherfucker, bro.
Yep, my shirts are all color coordinated, and then my T-shirts, and then it's collared shirts, and then button up shirts yeah yep yep what you laughing about drip dragon just playing just playing
damn our boy's young and we're just getting after him yo no but yo he is so focused and he's in the
right spot i wish i'd have been here when i was 17 yo he's more mature than a bunch of 44 year
old babies i've heard on fucking crypto Twitter.
Yo, grinding it out, drip-dragging.
My thing to you is that this shit is fucking hard, bro.
This shit's fucking hard.
People make it look easy, but it ain't freaking easy. It's because they're fronting on the back end, buying up their own stuff and all that, whatever.
All you can do is keep grinding meeting more people building up your you
know your surroundings building up your rolodex your community and that's it like you know and
like someone said earlier like what are you here for crypto cam just just to interrupt for a second
so that's what this whole space is about so we're trying to build our art community back we're
supporting big nfts small nfts from small artists to big collections like d gods
here today so just shaka i don't know if you wanted to give them a little quick synopsis about
the art contest it's not coming out for another week but we're building up you know all the big
kols people that we trust in the space dope nfts that we like you know i'm gonna do a me versus
you my d god versus your azuki. That's going to be pretty cool.
And yeah, we're just going to get it all going a week before.
While, you know, things are a little red.
I mean, today things are bouncing, so it's great.
But while things are rocky, I think it's a great time to feature artists
and buy some badass NFTs before things really rip.
Yeah, so the contest is cool, right?
It's a different take i think on art contest so
you know anyone with a badass nft you put up your nft and then um all the artists or artists other
artists can come on board they choose the the nft they want to draw and then they draw the nft and
the best possible fan art style um so technically anyone anyone can submit pieces, we're probably going to have
to do a little bit of curation and try to make sure everybody doesn't like, you know, draw the
same stuff. But we have amazing artists ready to go. We put up some of the different art styles,
they got different art styles. So it's basically normally people pay like three 400 bucks, right,
for fan art of their NFTs. I mean, high quality fan art is expensive it takes the artist you know sometimes a week to 10 days
but um it's a great way to you know drop some love not just on the the nft projects but the
the owners right because i mean i'm an nft collector i got some dope nfts i submitted some
of my nfts i mean i'm involved but i'd love
them to draw some of mine as well you know um but you know the the collectors they don't get that
much love right i mean i mean you have it as your pfp people kind of know what it is what you can't
really see because it's small um this way it will you know shed some light on people who are you
know we think that the backbone and the foundation of the
ones who support the projects, the ones who go out there and put their money down.
Yeah. So that's the general idea. All you have to do is drop a picture of your NFT in the comments
of the contest. It's going to start in about a week. So we already have the invitation for the
artists. This is more the invitation for collectors to drop their stuff down um it'll run for 30 days and then the the final voting and so
on will take a couple of days we're trying to get some real digital artists as judges because a lot
of these contests are skewed right you get some millionaire collector puts up his stuff everybody
wants to draw it and we want him to be the winner so we're trying to make sure we have real judges uh there will be a social vote which means if
someone does your nft and you love the work they've done then you know help to promote the
work they've done technically you're promoting your nft because the fan art is for your nft
and then on the back end technically it's it's your IP if you own the NFT. So the fan art really belongs to the NFT holders at the end of the day, right?
You can take that fan art back with you.
I mean, if you look upon the Jumbotron, we posted a couple of the different art styles.
If you swipe over, we got pixel art.
We got face-offs, two against, one against one, or single pieces.
So we got a variety of art styles by amazing artists.
And we kind of told them they have creative freedom.
So, I mean, you know, they don't all have to be the same style.
It's not an Asian-style art contest. It's a fan art contest, you know.
And the goal is, you know, contest. And the goal is shine love
on the industry, shine love on the artists,
shine love on the collectors.
A lot of these competitions,
they shine love on the collection.
But a lot of the collections, they've already
got tons of cash and tons of visibility.
hopefully that's a good shill.
Yeah, that's dope right there, for sure, for sure.
I was just checking out the list that you had.
My artist and co-founder down there, Lady, she was blowing me up on that one.
So we kind of picked a list of 20 top collections, right?
Because these are a lot of the owners of these pieces, they're able to, you know, they have a lot of reach to shine art back on the artists.
But, I mean, at the end of the day, if you have a collection that's not on our list, we already have other people putting up stuff, you know, if the artists want to draw it.
And we're going to make sure there's an equal distribution of art to to artists so for instance we got moles those golf balls have you ever seen
them they're so cool um and we got these um gecko lizards we got some some art coming out to the
basement for from collections that you know we've never seen and again it's about shedding light on
the collectors right not the collections so
so to speak so if you got some dope stuff if you got some grails in the closet you know drop them
up you know if we the artists want to draw it or they think they can knock it out of the park
they'll do it is it like any artists that can um just take from these comments and do them? Or do you have specific artists?
It's going to be hosted on Raid.
Any artists can take part.
I mean, all the artists we work with, they'll be taking part.
But there will be some requirements.
I was kind of explaining to a gentleman here who asked about it.
That, you know, ideally you want to be like a commissioned artist, right?
In order to take part. Or someone who, you know, ideally you want to be like a commissioned artist, right? In order to take part
or someone who, you know, not like a junior because it's not a junior art contest, right?
And, you know, we're going to try to get that across that if you're a junior, you can still
take part, right? We're not going to tell anyone, no, there's no restrictions on submitting work.
But, you know, we have in our previous art contest we had juniors and seniors and
the juniors won all the prizes and a lot of the juniors were pissed off because you know a senior
artist could do something amazing in a week it takes a junior artist a month um and they have
to put so much more work into it but um at the end of the day it is a contest just because you
know you're a junior doesn't mean you're going to win because you're a junior, right?
Yeah, not everybody gets the trophy, right?
Best art is going to win.
But, you know, so we're just going to try and advise people that, look, you know, if you're not a senior artist, however, you can still take part.
We're going to try and find some prizes for, you know, people in unique situations or people who, you know, got to figure out how to reward. You can't reward everyone is the problem, you know people in unique situations um or people who you know you got to figure out how to reward
you can't reward everyone is the problem you know but um we're going to figure it out some people
give honorable mentions and so on um but yeah i think it's going to be a dope contest man we have
a lot of cool collectors putting up their collections you know we got lots of different um
nfts already posted and we got another five days to keep
collecting. And then we head into the artists, into the actual drawing, and that's going to be
dope. So we're going to host it on Raid. If you've never been to Raid, check out Raid.xyz.
They're great for contests. They're totally DeFi platform. The artists connect their wallets, they link their Xs so you can see who's doing what. And then the voting is going to be via verified X accounts
to help keep all the spammers out. The last contest we ran there, we just said DeFi voting.
And then we found out that technically in MetaMask, if you're voting DeFi only,
you know, in MetaMask, you can create more wallets, right? So you can actually go in
MetaMask and create a hundred wallets and cast a hundred votes. So one of our artists figured
that out and all of a sudden like went up to, everybody's like 30, 40 votes and they went to
like 400. So we just told all the other artists how to do it to level the
playing field right so but um if it's verified x accounts per wallet then that helps as well
you know so yeah it's gonna be cool i'm very excited some of the pieces um i know there's
gonna be sick art you know and we have some huge collectors in there putting up their entire
collections as well so you know it's dope if you got a you know a kick-ass
nft if you got a grill it doesn't have to be your most expensive it can just be your coolest you
know if you look in there you'll see some dope nfts i thought the gecko um lizard with the
fire coming out of his his next to his head was like so cool yeah I can't wait to see some of these
submissions come in that's gonna be dope and the collections on here already
have some amazing art and like I know like you know some of the collections
I'm in so I've seen the community do fan art of a lot of the pieces and she's
yeah I'm looking forward to this this This is going to be freaking dope.
But I got to hop down real fast.
I got to get knocked down that is kind of leaning from these tornadoes we had the other day.
So I will check back in with y'all.
Cam, I am going to DM you because I know you've got some cool NFTs.
So if you want to drop them for the contest, that would be dope.
Oh, you dropped some NFTs in the contest?
Yeah, I'm going to DM you.
Cam's not introducing me, but I'm-
Lady, just come in, girl.
No, he was like, I got to go.
And I'm like, you know what?
I'm just going to be my crazy Italian me.
I'm just going to talk over him.
I'm just going to introduce myself.
I know you're busy, Cam, and I'm a big girl.
I figured you were about to hop down.
I'm the artist for the NFTs with CryptoCam.
Sorry, I can't even think now.
She is my artist and co-founder of the Vibe Society.
My bestie out here in these meta streets.
Every man should have a strong woman behind them,
beside them, in front of them,
Y'all know I love my queens in the industry.
And I got one that is helping me along.
And girl in the verse, I have a special bond with you already because CryptoCam, so I've been lady, and my handle was CryptoCabalSoul because my original account got suspended and it was an alt account. So I went with that handle for a while. And Cam's like, you've got to rebrand yourself.
Like when they were like looking me up and I like drag, drag my feet forever.
And then I'm like, whatever, I'll do it.
So I'm like, okay, let me think of something like that starts with lady.
So if they type in lady, they'll pull me up.
So I went with lady of the verse or lady in the Verse and or Lady of the Verse.
And then he goes, oh, well, there's a girl in the verse already.
I'm like, well, whatever.
So you're a girl in the verse.
I'm like, well, you know what?
Exactly. Exactly. Welcome. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. No, I can't. I was listening to you speak
and oh my gosh, you're such a special, wonderful person. I so relate to you. I'm a nurse and a
child behavioral specialist. So I actually worked in the elementary school for a
few years with not so like the step, the kids that don't need an IEP, but they like really need a lot
of behavioral support in the classroom. Mostly there's a lot of foster kids, a lot of kids that
go through a lot of trauma. The exact thing that you're probably working with, Kat.
And it takes a special kind of person to really connect through, like break through the walls
and connect with kids that have been through a lot of trauma.
And it's really, really special when you do.
And it's interesting because when kids that have had a lot of trauma find an adult that they feel safe with,
their behavior completely changes. It's quite amazing, actually. You can really make a huge
difference in these kids' lives. All it takes is one adult to actually have a little bit of faith
in them sometimes for them to really be propelled forward. So hats off to you, Kat. It's an amazing
thing that you're doing. Much more, and not the NFT, NYC is not important. I'll be there, but
taking care of those kids is, is more important in my opinion.
I don't even know if she heard any of that. Drop some of those, drop some of, yeah,
I got all of it. Drop some of your pieces in the contest, please, you know, find your,
your favorite one and drop them off.
We'd love to get artists on them.
That would be super cool.
And Keith, I don't think I've met you before,
so thank you for bringing me up here.
It's super nice to meet you.
I feel rude not even saying hi on your stage.
Cam talks about you all the time.
I was just kind of vetting you, just listening,
and I was like, like oh she's cool i
gave you a follow oh thank you yeah yeah everything's good you i looked at your profile
gave you a little check out everything's yeah thanks for being here we want to have artists
people uh different people in the space not our normal crowd you know trying to
when it when other people from other spaces are kind of break out of their little eco chamber
and they come into our space then it notifies the algorithm you're in the space and other people see so even a couple new artists
really change like the whole like you know landscape of this ecosystem with with this
community with artists and nfts so yeah we're collecting today i know you're a legend like a
legit legend out here in these meta streets. But I was working nights for quite
a while. And so my schedule was really screwy. So I've only just started to be like awake during
the day. So like a lot of the daytime people are like, who are you? Like, I'm just nobody knows me
during the day. I've been a night crawler. but I know a lot of people in here. Levels.gasstationsushi.
I could go down the list, but I never got to meet you guys, and I'm really excited.
I'm going to try to be here more often.
Yeah, we're going to do more art spaces and art-focused things, especially with this big contest.
thousand dollars in prizes that joshaka has rigged up a whole thing going on so really cool we bought
some nfts today we actually didn't do any giveaways we said we were going to but that's okay
whatever fuck it we bought some nfts we smoked we hung out we did it for a little over the two hour
mark so joshaka do you have any have any closing statements before we close this one?
Lots of great conversation.
Yeah, I hope we do a lot more of these.
Yo, what up, William? How you doing?
Hey, man. Thanks for having me one more time.
I appreciate all the talking and the messages.
I just wanted to say to you guys that we are learning and we are teaching,
and that's what makes this Web3 great.
Because we are about the decentralized finance, you know.
We are talking about not being broken anymore.
And it's a door to all artists and collectors who have seen an opportunity in Web3,
but we don't have the actual money to start it.
But you know, any dollar, any pen can make an artist happy these days.
And I have no words to express myself right here,
but I want to thank you guys for all the work that you are doing,

Yeah, Phoenix is a huge collector.
So I'd like to do something special for her and feature her like a little bit before the contest.
Because a lot of people were like, yeah, you've collected so much. But I think Phoenix has literally collected twice as much as me.
So especially the last six months.
So definitely want to do something special for Phoenix.
She's definitely a big pillar in the community with collecting small artists,
big artists all over the place.
So Phoenix, if you could hear us, hope you're having a great day.
