Good afternoon everybody. Hello. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. Okay we're coming through loud and clear. Hi James welcome.
Thank you. We should be having my better half at this point. Mac, are joining us momentarily. All right. Okay, house heads, you have the mic.
Oh, Pallos a little shy sometimes. I don't know if you'll actually be getting up on the mic today. Oh, I'm not wearing that. But we honestly couldn't ask for a better person to be heading that up. Yeah, the Pallos. What is up Drew?
I'm so excited to be kicking things off with like with you guys I mean honestly everything that that we've gotten to do
from behind the scenes with all these conversations and it's just such a fantastic team. It makes me so excited like every day when I'm like looking and going, oh my god, I can't believe that we get the opportunity to partner up with Brave. So, man, we're so excited about that too. I haven't really been on the behind
the scenes conversations up until this point, but I'm excited to learn more about what you all have been discussing together and just super excited to learn more about the project too. I've been diving in, reading your website this morning, learning more about the project, and I'm super impressed, so I can't wait to learn about it from you guys.
And it looks like you have a lot of community members from your side here today, so that's really awesome. Oh, not only that, but I mean, the last couple of days I've been reaching out to a couple of our other partners and saying, "Hey guys, you guys gotta come listen in on this. We're gonna be dropping some really fun stuff today."
Alright, I'm looking forward to having a mic issue there for a second. Alright, let's pick off. The room's pretty full. Welcome everybody. Thank you for being here today. We're back for another back humidity Twitter spaces. Today we are in the back cave with house heads.
Househeads is the first interdimensional digital collectibles collection originating from the parallel world of Eternah. Househeads is a project by Eternah Labs, a blockchain focused technology company that is focused on building more decentralized and inclusive
Internet. That sounds familiar. Founded in 2022, the company has quickly gained traction for its unique approach to building products that leverage blockchain technology. Awesome. So let's move quickly through the intros today so we can dive right into the conversation. Since we have a lot of listeners visiting from outside today,
I'll just give you a quick rundown about us. So we are the that community for anybody unfamiliar. That or BAT is short for basic attention token, which is an Ethereum based rewards token utilized in Brave, a fast and private web browser that blocks YouTube ads and other
invasive third-party ads and trackers right out of the box by default, no extensions required. That works within Brave by fairly pricing user attention and rewarding users in that for choosing to see ads that are privacy-respecting. It also empowers them to pay it forward by supporting their favorite content creators or causing
with that tips or easily programmed bat donations. Brave has a user-first philosophy, so its private bat ads and reward system is totally opt-in. Additionally, the browser eliminates the need for extensions, like I mentioned, by shipping with various privacy features and tools. For example, a shield, that's what keeps you
you in your day to say from third party ads and trackers, private search and AI summarizer, private video conferencing, VPN, multi-chain crypto wallet, and so much more. If you want to learn about Braves, products, and features, please visit Brave.com, but do so after the spaces. In addition, if you want to learn more about basic attention token, the web
site for that is basicattentiontoken.org. Now we'll move on to the team intros. So I'll just quickly do mine. My name is Denny. I'm your host today along with my amazing team who will introduce in just a moment. I am based in Montreal, Canada. I've been working for Batten Brave since
late 2017 just before the bat token launch and today my work focuses on building partnerships and driving the growth adoption and integration of the bat token. During the event, please don't hesitate to request the mic if you have any questions and if you're too excited
get on the mic, you can type your questions into the Twitter thread beneath the link here and we will catch them and we will read them aloud for you. So let's go around and introduce the team, then we'll introduce the house heads and then we'll dive into the questions. Maybe Drew can kick us off. Hey, what's up everybody? I'm Drew.
I've been working with Ray for about a year and a half and during community partnerships, partnership stuff with Jenny. You can usually find me in the Babbage Aid Discord server, which is discord.gg/babbage or here on Twitter. Definitely looking forward to this space.
I've been talking to James and Maka here for a while and excited about the house heads and what they've got going on. So, and looking forward to learning more about it here today with you all. So thanks. It's all I got. Awesome. Thanks Drew. Actually, I wanted to ask you, we have that event going
going on with the export right after this right? Yes we do. We have a gaming event with export right after this space. So you can hop in our discord and get more information on that. There's some prizes in there for that as well. So it's a
a game called Core, I believe, that you can go and check out the download maybe during the space so you can get in after the start. That's right. That's right. Yeah, you do have to install a client. So if you're interested, go check that out, but there are prizes and you can learn more about it in our announcements channels in the Discord. Thank you so much, Drew.
That earned. What's up? Hey, I'm good. How are you? Yeah, I'm bad. I invented the term "bat brigade" by my existing before. I do memes and ambassador stuff and we've got to shoot off right on the air because we do have to do a maze in that game. Thank you. Thanks, veteran. Giaran, what's up?
Hello everyone, my name is Lyram and I am an artist/designer and I specialize in illustration and design for Brave and basic and next communities creating visual-stimulating pieces to help engaging with the community. It's a pleasure having you here and on to Paula.
Hi everyone, I hope that you're having a lovely day. I'm Paula, I'm based in Costa Rica and well I started I started at Brave as an intern last year and I work for the bad community. I manage the bad Costa Rica account on Twitter and
anything Spanish or Latin related. I also make the summaries from our weekly tutors' spaces. You can find them on Discord and Twitter. So yeah, stay tuned for the summer of this special episode. Thank you.
fantastic banks team and of course last but certainly not least we have our wonderful guests from house heads we have James in the house and we have Mecca. What's up y'all? What's up what's up? How are you guys? Nice to meet you. This is my guy nice to meet you too nice to meet you too. Welcome. We're super
happy that you're you're spending the time here with us today. Much appreciate you're here. And James go ahead. Maybe we can kick off by having you both James and Mac I share a little bit about yourselves. You know what your journey into your four into where to three what you did before and now your current role at Househeads.
What do you guys do there? Good job, God. All right. So we'll be here for the next 35 minutes. My personal story. In all seriousness, so my name is James. I'm one of the two co-founders here at Househeads and
My background actually is I'm an attorney, I've done management consulting as well for about 10 years or so better part of a decade and pretty much what my life has been is working with very large organizations to helping grow revenue, optimize business, I've done
and work with venture capital, I work with private equity, I've done M&A work as well. And my journey into crypto actually is an interesting one because about a couple of years ago I was working on an acquisition where one of the companies that we were buying was developing
a blockchain solution. At that point, I had no idea what blockchain even was. The term crypto generated fear into my head. Because we took such interest in it, I had to realize I needed to learn this. Once I started diving into the details, I realized
just how fruitful this space is and just how amazing of an opportunity and an industry in the idea of around decentralized finance and everything else. And so I just decided this is a space I need to learn. And so once we finished up with that, I started looking for kind of what I was going to do next.
And it was I was actually hanging out one day and was trying really hard to get into the sandbox beta test because I'm into gaming. I love love the space and I won one of the first sandbox alpha passes and so I was able to get in I was able to
start seeing more about what this space was about. And then, I mean, the moment that I started seeing digital art hanging on walls in a digital space, recognizing the transferability, the IP ownership rights, I just fell in love with it. And so from there, I ended up going into the Salonah Network and buying into my first
NFT project, which Mac I'll let you talk more about that. But really, from that point, I was hooked. And that's actually where I met Maca was on the first NFT project that I bought into. And him and I came together and we decided to start this journey. So Maca, do you want to take it away?
Well, so James is the business guy. I'm the fuck around guy. You are the most welcome guy I've ever met. Let's be clear on that. Alright, alright James guys, my name is Makka and
And my background actually is in engineering. I'm a mechanical and sound acoustical engineer. I'm a musician of heart, so I took myself to the United States because I'm from Italy. And so I went to the US further in my education into music production. And that was back in 2007, 2007.
I realized I wanted to stay in the US and do it legally. So I had to figure out a way and so basically I started up my own business even though I had no idea what to do but I knew how to do music and so everything started from you know stage to stage bar to bar and then venue to venue and then corporate world and so basically I ended up being an event
producer for the past 15 years in Miami, Florida. And I produce a lot of events, a lot of events and most of them were fun stuff to be honest with you. But you know it was one of those places where creativity still had an output you know you could you know create a
experiences and I had the wonderful opportunity to work with some of the top international brands. So, especially, you know, to do related to the, you know, Italian culture, Italian heritage. So, some of the best brands around the world. And so, I did a lot of really cool
fun stuff and then in 2021, since in Miami you guys know there's our puzzle and so our puzzle is a big week for for the industry Miami because it's it's a week full of events and shows 2020 of course COVID you know the show was canceled the event was canceled
But 2021 came back with a revenge and so everybody booked their Arbasa events which is the first week of December. Everybody was booked already in January, basically February of 2021. And back in September of October, I got a call from a guy and it's
name is Cole and he said, "Hey, got your name from such and such, looking to do an event in Miami during our puzzle. I'm one of the owners of the Padji Penguins and I was like, wow, this is interesting. I had no clue about the Padji Penguins. I was a little bit into crypto but you know, again like
James said a little bit scared and reluctant, but I thought, okay, this could be an interesting thing. And basically ended up producing this very first event for the Badge Penguins in Miami Beach during our bus of 2021. And it really hit me right away, just because the community
I couldn't understand before when we were working on the event and creating the experience which of course it was a really nice very cool event to be honest with you. But it was different, the community, the community, the people, the Qatar, it was such a different vibe, everybody was just genuinely appreciated.
just the opportunity to be together and meet each other. And I was like, wow, this is so interesting. You could see it was almost a revival, like a meeting of all friends, getting back together after a long time. And I was looking around. It was just a bunch of 20 years old. Where do you guys know each other from?
such a passion. And so it really hit me the night, you know, it was enlightening to me. I was like, "Well, you know, this is cool. This is interesting. This is different. I want to learn more about the space. So I dove into it. Literally, I got a chance to meet a lot of people during the night that literally onboard
than me, into Web 3, into NFTs, into Solana as well. And they said, you know, that was, you know, top of the bull run back in December and January, I guess, of 2021, 2022. So they said, you know, what's, you know, try out on Solana, at least
If you're losing money, you're not losing so much money. And beware of scams and beware of this and that. And so they helped me out and they set me up. And after a couple of weeks, they said, hey, I think you're good to go. Just do your own research now based on the information that we gave you and and try it out. And so I did try out into that.
project that James was talking about. And probably like a week later was a rug. So I got my old, so my first experience and my first rug right away. And about me and James started talking about ways that we could do different or kind of revive the project or
or the rugged, there was a bunch of people, it was a very large community, everybody very active. And I was like, wow, this is so interesting. From a business perspective, myself, I was, that was part of the initial conversations with James, we realized what these founders that
drug that project, you know, most likely they didn't really realize the potential of the project just because not only, okay, it was cute art, you know, it was super hybrid derivative of the board aches, but it was the community. Community was there, it was like 15,000,000 people and everybody very active and
you know for a brand to actually have an interaction where you can attach people's feelings to the brand it's extremely costly to create experiences or something where people can identify with the brand and so you know having that background you hit me it's like you know
these guys don't understand that the biggest asset that they had was not the money that they rigged, you know, but rather was the community itself. And so James and myself started talking about whatever, you know, we have ideas, definitely we have business background and a lot of
different understanding of the business. He is very analytical, is very business oriented, I'm more on the marketing activation branding side of things and definitely the creative side. But we realized we could have
of something. So we started laying down some ideas around community, community, community, community, and we're not just saying this is true. And the people in our community can probably witness that we're all about the community. And we started building the projects that now became houses, you know, in
started since what I think end of January 2022 so now we're in May 2023 it's been a long build up and then we went through many faces where first of all we wanted to make sure that we as a project would not be affected by
outside market conditions because again that's thanks to James he's got a very good analytical vision about the market and so he could foresee the market was going down and so we're like okay let's take a very conservative approach beyond the market conditions beyond any metas and
And as a matter of fact, we kept building, it didn't change not even slightly archery, not even the Luna crash or the FDX crash or any of that. So here we are, ramping up for lunch with these fantastic projects, onboarded what now about
30 members in our team, a fantastic core of our community. Many of them are here listening to us today. And thanks to, you know, being transparent and taking the time to literally onboard people one-on-one in calls and explaining who we are.
are and what we're about and where we're going. Everybody that we onboarded, you know, entrusted us with their time, they believed in us, they started seeing that we were working on stuff and delivering some high quality, especially on the art side. And so it really
created a bond that right now I think we can call our friends, like our close friends, especially the elders, the core group of the community. And together with them we built it. We're very proud that everything is super organic. We decided not to buy it, not to do paper
promotion, influencer promotions, and I think we're stating what we stand for with our Twitter account. So I don't know, I can keep going guys, but you've got to stop me at some points. No, this is perfect. This is perfect. This sets the stage for what's coming next.
No, thank you so much for those detailed introductions, the backgrounds, the peep into your web through journeys. It's always super fascinating to learn about how people from diverse and colorful backgrounds come together to create new stuff in the web through space and you both sound incredibly passionate, which I mean, who doesn't love
that. Quick question though, Macca, where are you from in Italy, which part? I'm originally from Rome. Oh nice, Roma, that's awesome. I'm a Sicilian. Oh nice, Sicilian. So you speak a little bit of Siculo or not?
my grandfather's absolute dismay I do not. I bet your grandma doesn't invite you for Sunday anymore because it doesn't speak Italian. Maybe you could teach me a couple words.
But all right, so let's dive right in because there's a lot to unpack here. So can you guys start by telling us a little bit about the inspiration behind the project, how's heads, in particular the name, where did that come from? Are we pronouncing it correctly?
the aesthetic, the vibe. Oh, you're doing a fantastic job in the pronunciation. As a matter of fact, I'm going to ask Brave, if we can officially onboard you for our Twitter spaces, because you sound awesome and you say everything well. Oh, that's awesome. You know, when I was reading about the project, I was like, is it paid like the way I get on the
So yeah, give us some background about the inspiration, the aesthetic, the vibe, the name, where did it all come from?
James please take it Come on man. I think I think given how close that you work I mean I can talk about the the inspiration actually I'll talk about that first you could talk about the artistic side of things cuz my god the creative team is just truly something else What I'll say about the just the concept in general
It's something that since the very beginning Mac and I wanted to have something that was completely original from just from the ground up from an IP like creative standpoint that was kind of step one and then second Mac appointed out earlier how important community
ideas to us. And when we were going through different ideas of what we wanted to create, one of the first images that we came up with was the idea of creating something with a building. But we didn't want it just to be generic buildings. We wanted to add personalities to it. And so we talked about adding faces.
And really, a lot of this came because the entire crypto market is extremely volatile. And we wanted to create a community that was stable, something that would actually be a center place for Web 3. And so by using the imagery of the building in the house, we thought that
That would be a good way to kind of indicate to everybody that we want to be a community that shelters everybody. We want to be a community that no matter what part of the Web 3 ecosystem that you're in, you can come be with us. And so that's since those early days that's actually created throughout how
we do things as an organization, as a community, as a company, because now what we've been doing is going out and talking with lots of different partners across multiple blockchains because we truly want to be a central location that people want to come hang out with us. Sorry, I start to go off Maccath.
You said it very well. You said it of course very well and that's why I let you go ahead because at least you know you give me the track otherwise I derailed the time. But yeah and I think the next step for us was well the naming you know the name comes from you know
a lot of research because we've changed name probably like five to ten times even though always was something related to building to houses and stuff like that and at some point we started onboarding the actual team
with the creative directors that actually are creative directors for one of the major communication agencies here in Europe with Acquires in Milan. And so they've been taking care of some of the top top top brands in the world and literally they interviewed us for like a week straight and
They went deep into exactly what we wanted to do long-term as a business because James and I put together back then already like a three or business plan something like that and so they were like okay Let us understand where you go in and from there we can extrapolate the values and the pillars so that we can create the image that
visual of the brand. After that, I think they took like two to three weeks and then they came back to us with a A.D. page presentation, two and a half hours presentation. And they gave us a bunch of different options and opportunities, explaining well, if we take these routes,
and you know, these could be the artists that we can work with and then these could be the follow-up in terms of, you know, how can you explore further the brand? And really from there, you know, we saw the continuation of that idea with the house, with the expressions and personal
And there was these artists that they just mentioned it. It was David Sosella, who were like, "Wow, what can we do to actually have him on board?" And they said, "Well, you have to apply to him." And then wait until he actually gets back to you because he's one of the top illustrators in the world. And so you got to see his about it.
If it's interesting or not, and so we took some time and applied to him and then he got back to us and you know the whole process and so basically this core of the team. Yeah. I'm gonna cut you off right there. Please. I know you.
- No, not trying to be rude, but I'm gonna make this story real short and say David Sassell is in this space here. If you scroll through, you can find his profile and just check out his background.
That answers where that story went to. Absolutely. Thank you. Thank you. Ciao, David. Welcome around. And yeah, and you really actually, you know, him and the creative team together, you know, we worked together and try and figure out what we could do. And David came back to us.
with a rough idea, a rough concept, and we're like, "Okay, that's it. We now know exactly what we're doing and what we're going." So then they started developing it. We worked together with them all the time, especially me because the entire team is Italian. So it was easy for time zone, for language.
And nothing, we just literally, I'm impressed because basically David created 19 different collections and we're consolidating it into one. So it's just out of this word the amount of work that he has done that the creative directors have done. But on top of that there's also the right
of the team, not only the visual team from the branding side, they did a fantastic job, but also the marketing team and the community team, so the deaf team. It's a big effort that literally spans from California, Canada all the way to Tokyo.
Australia but it's worth it. A lot of sleepless nights for me at least but it's very much worth it and especially seeing how well received this from our community it just makes it worth it again. Oh beautiful thank you so much
I just want to hop back quickly to something that James said about how the house is sort of conceptually represent a sort of refuge for your community members. I love that metaphor. I think that's really beautiful. And welcome, David Sassela, who's in the audience. The househead's artwork is outstanding. And to your point, Maka, hats off to the
the team to help develop the branding, the visuals, who have done the marketing. Obviously this was a big team effort here. But just visually the project really stands out from others we've seen. I wanted to shout that out. Just a quick question, and I'm not sure if you addressed it, but why is heads spelt the way that it is? The A and the E are flipped.
So that's my, I'm a little bit quirky that way. So the reason is we want to always do something that is very unique yet familiar. That's the bottom line of like our tagline and everything that
we do as specific intentions all the time. We like Easter eggs and David is a master in that and the AE is basically a way to make a simple word like heads being more distinct
But at the same time, again, since everything we do is very intentional, it's got the reference of the diphtong for the mother company which is eternal with a diphtong. So, that's just a little bit of a tip. Why? Okay, that's right. That makes sense. Yeah. So the name Harkinsback to a turno, which is the pan
and company and then also for distinguishability and for creating something that was different yet familiar and recognizable. That makes a ton of sense. That makes a great answer. Okay, so the collection is not yet launched, correct? Not yet, not yet. We're rumping up, but not yet. So where and when can we expect the launch?
and what potential buyers know ahead of the launch. May I? Yes, please, I was just gonna say that's James. He gets them comfortable questions. No, let's say we let Maka add to it so he spills it. I can't have this man.
You're a lucky partner, Drew. So where I'd say everywhere and when we are constantly watching everything, but we are getting closer. Every day we're getting closer in this and Mack and I've had a statement since the beginning is that we'll launch when we're ready.
And one of the things that I'll just share with everybody here is that our approach since the beginning has to do more of a, well, first community building and second organic growth, meaning that it's important to us to build connections, partnerships with amazing companies like Brave,
that truly understand the value and the vision of what we all want to do and see in this space. And so that process takes quite some time versus if you try to rush things. And so what's been amazing is that for both Mac and myself,
we've had the opportunity as we've grown the brand of house heads to really push the boundaries of partnerships, of relationship building because we take this very seriously and bringing people within the community. One of the core aspects of it is our elder group which truly are a fantastic group of individuals.
that we've met with individually on one-on-one basis. And we do our best to make sure that we are never requiring anything from them. We want to try to do our best to provide value to them. And in turn, we have gotten more value from the community than I think either Maca or I ever thought was humanly possible.
We thought of original yes, I'm just gonna add to that because it gives it back to the elders especially but You know originally when we first started were like okay, but where do we start with you know what will be the marketing plan? You know kind of putting together go-to-market strategy and with okay, maybe insane
organization, you know, could work, you know, people were seeing the grinding attitude and then we realized that we didn't want our project to be a meaningless relationship with our community because what happened at least during the last border and you will see a lot of communities where
numbers will go grind literally with nonsense comments in the discord or in Twitter just to grind just to level up and we're like you know what? No, this is not going to work for us and therefore we decided that anything that we would do was not going to be let's say
push by any incentive to reach any threshold or anything. And so what James just said is absolutely right. You know, we were at the point where like, okay, hopefully it's going to be where received and hopefully they'll understand what we're doing, that we're serious about it, and hopefully they'll support us. But what actually
turn out happening is that they outrun any of our best ideas and hopes even if we were running an incentive program. So it's it's truly thanks to the community why we're here and why we're about to launch and and that is just more
fuel to our drive really because we're still the same people the same with the same attitude in building and trying to do things with top quality innovation trying to be trans-setters and spark creativity around Web 3 and you know the elders and then the rest of the community follow
and that's where we're at. I think that's beautifully put and I mean it's evident that you're very very serious and dedicated to this project and that you want to provide your community with the best conceivable experience and from the sounds of it it'll be worth it whenever it drops so we're really looking forward to that
Now, I want to dive into the project lore a little bit because another distinguishing aspect about your project is certainly the lore. So I was reading it this morning and got into it and you know it talks about a primordial fish and a permanent encounter with an underwater cave.
So can you explain about this, you know, beginning and how it sort of sets the stage for the rest of the story? James, here's the ball. Oh, you do not, you do not turn this one. You're the one that worked with her doll foe on it. You're the one that we had to censor the more adult
version I think which was what came about of it and what I'll say is that the whole inspiration really came from something that we all love which is Rick and Morty and and Mac at please by all means talk about the relationship
with a cave because it really does, I think, set the stage for what Househeads is all about. And that is bringing together people from different areas to form wonderful, meaningful relationships. Definitely, definitely interesting concept in the lore.
Again, you'll see this thread going on and on and on and whatever we do is completely different, yeah, familiar. It's kind of natural for two people to like each other and then have a relationship, right? Or two animals or whatever it is. Well, then we took it a little bit of a step further.
And we went into the boundaries of the absurd, but the idea was very simple. Imagine if what you live is a parallel universe. And if it's a parallel universe, it's a parallel universe of another universe that is running parallel to you.
So, but you know, the sliding doors theme, you know, it's always also something that we all been fond about and so the idea is, you know, imagine taking one of those doors back then in the pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra- pra-#
fish just takes a completely different route from all other fishes, you know, or other fish. You guys have very weird terms for singular and plural in English, by the way. And so, yes, that's how it starts, you know, like it's a different route and then, you know, every other, you know, human points are
reference in history now something else happened in this other parallel world and so that's that's how really everything started and you know having houses that have a personality that kind of resemble somehow the human race which is basically what houses are is
is one of those lighting doors that instead of just going from fish to outside the water and then monkeys and then humans, instead we took the other routes, the parallel routes. So a fish instead of following along with another fish is following along with
with a cave. So it's a building, an underwater building, and then it generated a humanoid kind of building style that has personality, that has feelings, that has a history, that has a past and as a future. And of course, expressions. So that's pretty much
much where that comes from. But I agree. It's a very unique way to create lore for a project. All right, all right. No, I love it. So the story begins in a parallel universe where most things are held equal except for a couple of diversions. Cool. I love it.
I think it's super unique, I think it's fun. Now, how would you describe the unique world of eternal? And why might somebody want to become an eternal landlord? - That's a tough question. This is a James question. Come on, you cannot dodge all the bullets. - Yeah, I can, shoot me.
So the question is why would you become an eternal landlord, right? So it's absolutely because what we're doing is creating a cross-dimensional world that is technically multi-dimensional because we've done this sliding door concept that's going to be opening up a lot of relationships with
other communities. And so the idea behind this has always been come into the world of Eternut, become a eternal landlord or a house heads landlord with this symbiotic relationship. And what we'll do is really start creating more of these digital experiences.
which we're going to start to provide more information in the near future that we're going to be taking both our community as well as the house heads on and then interlaced with that and I think this is probably some of the fun and the most fun that I've had is with a lot of the projects out there, the other NFT projects out there that we've had converted.
conversations with, we've looked for ways to build on storytelling experiences. I know I'm getting into more of the technical side, but since the very beginning we've gone to these communities and said, "Post-Mint, we want to be able to do something fun with you guys." And so we've built our entire lore ecosystem
everything that we're doing from the ground up with the idea that we can better form these relationships with other projects out there to create. I mean just amazing fun experiences with rewards. And that's about all I can say without Mac I started to hit me over the head. That's good. You stayed within the boundaries and I
appreciate that man. And what I also cannot is the entire project and the way that we took the approach of building the projects is a built
the first approach. So James is right, right, choosing saying, you know, after Mint, we're going to create, or we're going to give people experiences. Well, those experiences are already built. So we always decided that we didn't want to be another
of those projects that, let's say, after mint, they're like, okay, now we're going to deliver on a roadmap, and it takes three months, six months, or something like that, or then, or maybe never happens. We said, we're going to announce whatever we announce, only after we've done it, so that it's just
ready to go and we'll deploy it at the right time. So that's really all I wanted to add. Okay, all right, I respect the hard lines there. I was going to ask if you could, you know, spill any alpha about the roadmap or, you know, upcoming synergies with neighboring communities, but that's
Okay, I respect that it'll come when it's ready and it sounds like you have a lot of cool stuff in the works. But if I may, can I ask for specifics about the quote, the quest and how how sad owners can participate in it when the time comes? James.
you know where's the stop so you know I'm the king of saying nothing all the time but the quest is going to be something that we have been prepping since day
And I mean, we're talking since the very early days, February March of last year, when Maca came to me and said, "We have to do something that blows, blows holders out of the water that takes them on a multi-stage journey."
The community will get to start that very soon. I'll say close close to the mint date because we wanted it to be something that everybody gets to participate in. We don't want people waiting waiting months and I think the most important thing is that when it comes
to the quest, this is not a, this is not just your traditional, oh, they've created a game or a digital experience or something and then that's the end of it. We truly wanted to create something that is going to evolve over time. It's going to evolve based off of how the community
response to it and yeah, all of that stuff. It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be fun. It's gonna be one of those things where number one, I wanna just expand a little bit on what James just said, which is it is yes, it is something
that we're going to have eventually multiple communities be able to take part on, but we want it to start off with the community. We are all about building our community and giving our community the people that actually supported us since day one, some sort of benefits, right, before anybody
So our community will have the opportunity to join the quest before others, but just really because of the way that it's set up. You know, someone else wants to join, you know, they'll also have a way to do it. But at the end of the day, it's everyone's
The word in experience is something very much different yet familiar one more time. It sounds redundant, but it is. And I know that people with the dynamics and the mechanics of what we put together, I know people will love it and eat it at the same time.
It's going to be fun to see the reaction. And like James said, based on user experience and user interpretation and interaction with the quest, the quest will change the path into the next journey.
So it's going to be interesting, very interesting to see the community react to that. Okay, that sounds super cool and it mingamatics. Something that blows the community away that's more than just a game or a digital experience, but that is also a living thing with the potential to evolve based on how the community responds.
I'm hanging tight for it. I'm looking forward to it. I have no questions, but I realize that I haven't given my team a second, even jump in. I'm going to see if they have anything, and then we can hop back in later. Drew, Adam, Garen, Paola, do you guys have any questions?
Yeah, I'll see if the other guys have any questions they can go ahead but if not I can jump in. So I guess I jump in. So first things just want to say I love how you guys your journey kind of started together there in a rug and
And as much as it sucks going through those, some of the good people that have been through some of the rugs that have been through. So I love that aspect of it. You can get a build from there, especially on being rugged together. Yeah.
But yeah, also we only have about 12 minutes left. So I know you guys had some stuff you wanted to share. I don't know if you would do that now or later or and then I forgot to mention that we also do a pull up that VM draws up for us every week and you can get in our discord which is
you guys want to jump in and share some stuff, I'm also open to that. No, I would say go ahead with the questions and then yes, we do have something that we reserved just for this conversation with you guys because we you know ever since Drew and I started talking and then this turn into this partnership, massive partnership
with Brave, I think, you know, we owe it back to you guys to give you something special. So we do have something cooking ready to go. So please go ahead with the questions and then we'll tell you. Okay, awesome, sounds good. So you've mentioned a couple times that community is super central and critical.
to house heads. So are there plans that I don't know if you really know yet or can share about this, but are there plans to connect and engage with your community in person in addition to online? Meetups, events, or I don't know if something special for holders that happens in the physical world or I don't know, have you guys thought about
that yet? Well, okay, just rewind the space and start where I started, you know, which is I've done for 15 years that exactly for other people. Of course, you know, there's plans for that. Of course, there's ideas for that. Now, date, location, and
So, for us, of course, it's not been decided upon, but there will be meetups. We'll definitely make sure that our community and not just our community, the other people in other communities that want to still hang out with us, they'll have a chance to come and meet us and meet our community. That's awesome. I mean, I should have considered that based on
the intro you gave it to. Well come on guys I mean it's a house party. I mean I love that. Okay I think it's Jan from the audience had a question so it's Jan come on up you have the mic.
It's Yen! Okay, it's then if you figure it out, you have the mic. Oh, there he is. Welcome! I think he's too, there's Ruggie. Talking about Ruggie.
Yeah, I can. Oh, yeah. That's okay. If he comes through, we'll give him a mic. But that's okay. That's okay. So I have a couple more. So what role do you see Househeads playing in the broader discussion about digital art and ownership and NFTs at large? I know that's a big one.
That's a big one. Usually James Stakes because he's the one that takes the big questions. Absolutely. So I'll jump in, Maka. The way that we have always viewed ourselves is we want to be a central player at the very top that really empowers artists and creators.
and promotes the idea around the transferability of digital ownership rights. I know this just because my background as a lawyer, but then also because as we brought our team together like this incredible creative team that has worked across all of
Europe and on a global basis. So many of these guys, our project was the first entrance into Web 3. And when they got into this space, the very earliest of days, they instantly fell in love with the idea that they would have the freedom to create and do everything that we're talking about. And so
When we shared with them that our vision is that we post men are going to continue to push those boundaries. We're going to continue to to help promote and grow. They fell in love even further. So I love that. I think that was a beautiful answer. Now I don't
know how long or how much time we need for the little tidbit that you all wanted to share at the end. But since we have about eight minutes, shall I let you take it away now? Yeah, let's go. Let's go. James Paolo, I think, is ready to go, right? And then this is something that we're going
to share on a tweet from the main account. I don't know if a Paulo can actually share it into this space or if you guys have to retrieve it and share it over here so that people can just click on it and see it. But so our collection is made of seven different buildings in which
there's variations for a total of 19 different base characters. We have revealed two base buildings and today we decided that 200 you guys were going to reveal another building. So today we're revealing the next one which is the Japanese house what we call
the Japanese house. And I don't know if Paul was done yet already, if he can share it or if you guys need to go retrieve it. But this way we can be able to pin it up there. Okay. Well, that's so exciting. No, yeah, let's definitely get the
link so we can pin it up here on the spaces. I'm super excited. That's awesome. The Japanese house. Wow. Tell us more. So the Japanese house is going to be, well, you know, David is very much fond of the culture in general. So he wanted to include one house that
was reminiscent of a Japanese house and I think it did a fantastic job. It's going to feature pretty much again one more time. Pretty common traits, very common traits except for one which is a very rare trait and you'll see it is going to be very distinguishable.
but in general, oh I think we actually have it in the pin. So welcome to the Japanese company. Next you know what we wanted to do is before we close
the space, you know, we're definitely happy to give some of our friends in the Bat community a couple of wild spots so maybe we leave it up to you guys to decide who it is or how are we gonna you want to handle it we're definitely down for having more neighbors
We're opening up to new neighbors. Oh my gosh, that's amazing and so generous. Yes, our community would absolutely love that. Thank you so much. And hey, this Japanese house looks really cool. Gairm, I wonder, do you have any thoughts or questions about the art? He's our community artist, so he usually has a lot to say about artwork.
Go DM, have a good one. Let me just say it real quick. I'll say it real quick and then I'll sign in.
Okay, cool, cool. So the rare trade is actually the arm, which is the tentacle. And this is a very rare trade, but the rest of it is a very common trade. So you will find
no difference in rarity from this house to other houses as well as the facial traits or the clothing, the body itself. So this is all pretty common but the hand gives
that difference spin and David thought that this was a very interesting combination you know with the sushi bar. I don't have my glasses on. I'm trying to really see it here but what's the tentacle coming out of like a well what's going on there?
No, it's actually a you see on the other houses. There's there's an arm out with basically so this is just a special hand one of the special hands that we have. Oh, actually that's so cool.
Oh my god, I love it. You may see that pop your knob in another building and another completely unrelated, but that's the beauty of generative collection. We might need to get a brave house in there at some point.
Well, I mean, we've been looking for a brave hours on the internet and we didn't really find an interesting ones, but we gotta have to come up with one. Spoilers, Max, that's spoilers. Come on. Oh, you wanna go spoiler? Okay, go for it. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.
Okay, let's put it that way there may or may not be a brave related house Showing up somehow at some point. Oh, you heard it there first. That'll be interesting. Yes, that'll be I'm interested to see what that is
the other thing like it happens of course. May not be part of the collection just to say may not be part of the collection but at least as a commemorative piece you may come out. Well that's that's currilling I'm excited for whatever it is. Garen did you want to say
I know you only have a couple minutes left and then we have to jump straight to our game with X-Borg, but I want to give you the chance to chime in about the art if you have any thoughts. Yeah, of course. I just want to chime in real quick and say I really appreciate the amount of detail that was input into this. I see a lot of generative art in NFTs that are
usually lacking in detail and it's something that I really think makes art pieces stand out is the attention for detail and this one really is not lacking by the contrary it's full of detail and full of little things to go through. I'm a huge fan of your own spot which is like a 18th century
from the from NatholeMans and he had like very detailed pieces and it also features a little bit of the absurd that you have here and I really like it. It's got the surreal absurd look to it. It's honestly fantastic. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this. I'm sure that David is appreciating. So I wish you guys can connect sometimes, you know, and have more conversation about art in general and illustrations. I'm sure he'd love that. But James, Maka, thank you so, so much for taking the time to do this.
face of this today. I absolutely love the energy, the passion, the dedication, and how you've managed to sort of marry the diversity of skills between all the amazing people on your team to create. What I think is a really unique contribution to the NFT scene. So thanks so much for sharing about it. You're welcome to come back anytime.
If there are big project updates that you want to share, of course if we continue to collaborate, anything new that we want to tease together, we can definitely do more spaces together in the future. In addition to that, I feel like there's so much today that we didn't even get to because we're just as really wonderful and y'all are so easy to talk to. This was so much fun.
Thank you, Jenny. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. Thank you everyone and thank you to the heads community for showing up today. Everyone throw down an emoji react for the speakers for the community who took the time to join. Thank you all. This has been so much fun and I hope we can do it again soon and in the meantime,
Do you want to pick up a couple of people for a wireless bus? Yeah, sure. I'm going to take some screenshots of folks in the room real fast before we hop so that we know who's here. Perfect. And then you're on the tip. Okay. All right. Thank you so much, everybody. This was such a blast.
Thank you for your speed. Thank you. It's all Brady baby. Thank you everyone. Thank you everyone. Bye bye. Thank you guys. See you. Thank you.
