hello hello what is up everyone whale it's been a while how you been gm-gm
doing good doing good excited for this all this space got a lot of people in
here already yes something we've been on everybody hello a lot of a lot of new
people in the audience I know this is something that we've been teasing for a
while something that we've been working on behind the scenes for quite some
time so super excited to finally get this going and everyone here is super
excited that's on the stage and we're we're excited to get going but before I
jump in I'd love to just for all the new people joining I'd love to introduce
and set the stage on what InSpec is and how we've partnered with Avax and
Ludi to create an innovative and engaging incentive program we're really
looking to set the tone and I guess go ahead InSpec to count to take you
through exactly what we're doing and how we're doing it hello hello can you guys
hear me yes sir awesome so yeah thank you everybody for joining and thank you
to our amazing partners for joining us today before I jump into the wider
discussion like like Mike said just want to give people a quick overview of what
InSpec is and how we've partnered with Avax with Ludi to really create a
innovative and engaging incentive campaign so for all the newcomers first
InSpec is two things we have a web app and we have a browser extension both are
powered by advanced AI and it gives you a lowdown on all market trends so for
the sake of today we're gonna be focusing on the web app because that's
where the new platform feature is think of the web app as your go-to for keeping
tabs on everything that's going on in the NFT world so we analyze social
sentiment we focus on different collections as well as profiles that are
getting traction and our global reach metric is what really is the most
popular and unique metric on our website that's shaped the leaderboard that
people are always checking out and it became one of the most notable leaderboards
for people actually keeping tab on what's relevant in the space so global
reach will play a really crucial role for this entire campaign but I'll dive a
little bit deeper into that later so for those of you who didn't see yesterday we
announced a brand new feature for a web app called InSpec rewards so for
everyone listening in if you go on our website right now InSpec.xyz app and
you go on the main tabs you'll see that there's a new edition called rewards
right so InSpec rewards it is a brand new reward system that we built where we
will be using our unique data all the social data to design new and engaging
incentive systems to reward different communities based on different metrics
that we decide to track so it's fully customizable towards what data we want
to encourage people to do and so for season one this one is going to be all
about rewarding InSpec users who actively engage and contribute to the
Avax ecosystem it's going to be based on specific rules and metrics that we set
in place and they're going to be very important for our listeners so I'll
quickly go over some of these rules and some of these metrics just so for all
the listeners who want to participate in this new campaign have a little bit more
insight on how to actually join and participate so we designed this first
season to be as simple as possible so if you go on our rewards page you'll see
that all you need to do is get an Avax PFP all you need is an X account and an
InSpec account so literally anyone in the NFT space all you have to do is just
get an Avax PFP and switch it on your X account this should not take more than
one minute now the way we rank these people is based on one single metric
it's called global reach and like I said in the beginning it's been a very unique
and important metric that everyone is always checking and so the exact
definition of what global reach is on our website so that percentage that you
guys see it's your estimated average exposure to different NFT accounts so
if for example you guys see five or ten percent this means that your profile is
exposed to ten percent of the entire crypto space NFT crypto space is what I
meant and so for example we have whale here which I believe whale I think you
have like 18 or 20 percent that was one of the all-time highs last year but
we'll circle back to that and then another important thing is does your
ranking actually matter and yes it absolutely does and we'll get on about
that later a little bit and then the last important thing is now that you
guys understand how to rank and how to participate is how do you get rewarded
and this is something that would be passing to Lutie. Lutie is another
partner that we have and Lutie is going to be the one actually adding an extra
layer of gamification and engagement to the actual rewarding experience and
before I jump into Lutie and everything else and the wider discussion just to
zoom out even further at the end of the day this is a brand new experiment that
InSpec is doing we've always wanted to find an engaging way to reward different
community members and this is the first time that we're doing it and I'm really
curious to see with the way we designed it how different community members and
different ecosystems are going to be reacting to this and on that note Dom I
would love to pass it to you because you have a lot of experience with different
incentive programs and you've done this in the past so really curious to see what
you think and how this is going to go. Yeah so I think it might make sense to
start with like why we did this and like what was our rationale and reasoning
behind it and so I think what we wanted to do is like when I looked at
broader ecosystems right? Ethereum, Solana and I've looked at the way they've
designed incentives I think they've been really good at catering to a very small
number of people and it's mostly people with large amounts of liquidity
understand how to market make at a high level have automated bots right like
that's great and those people are important but they represent such a
small small small minority of the overall space and even the NFT space
right like what I noticed was there's a large portion of NFT users who really
don't like trade NFTs all the time but they buy them and they make it NFT their
personal identity or brand and they make content around them and they tweet and
they're active but they're never gonna push large amounts of capital they're
never gonna market make they're just not them so like you know in looking at my
my guess is in avalanche it's like okay well these people maybe they don't have
money and like the sophistication of market make but a lot of them have time
and they want to produce content and so like well how can we better reward
everybody right how can everyone participate in some form of rewards
right and so it started trying to think of like okay how do you better address
this audience to you know reward them for participating in your ecosystem but
also you don't in turn provide value and so like I think what has made other
ecosystems really strong is they have like such a strong presence on Twitter
people wearing the PFPs of their ecosystem tweeting inside of tweet
threads being present and responsive on Twitter and it shows like you know a lot
of strength in your ecosystem and I think it's a strong onboarding tool so
like okay well it's like let's put two of these things together and
incentivize people who are climbing you know the rankings in an inspect and are
growing their accounts and growing their reach and growing their impression and
like I saw like you know whenever you I mentioned this in other spaces like
whenever you design these incentive programs you you try your best to have
like some structure but there's always like random things that are gonna pop up
right and what's funny is people have been grinding to get on top of this
leaderboard I saw like three people get paid a couple hundred bucks in Twitter
they're like whoa so it's like not only have now like people taking a different
approach their accounts they're getting paid from Twitter they're going to rank
up on the leaderboard and get keys for this which also then rewards them
probably much higher than Twitter will that's a you know at some point if they
win certain prizes and so like it it was in my opinion like a good way to
address the broader space who maybe doesn't have the money but has the time
and can like rock a PFP for Avalanche and can tweet and make threads and start to
grow their own personal brand which then in turn helps the broader ecosystem
because now we're you know we're gaining mindshare we're gaining people tweeting
we're getting people like you know in this space that I think helps helps
Avalanche grow over the next two three years you know and some of the in some
of the motivation behind this was like as markets get better and people you
know join crypto Twitter I remember myself joining crypto Twitter right I
joined and all of a sudden like you follow one person and then the algorithm
starts recommending you a bunch of people and a lot of them have followers
and then like through their followers you kind of find more people and now
you're all of a sudden just into this world right I'm like well if we can help
incentivize that when new people come they'll see our people right and they'll
join our communities and they'll meet our you know they'll meet our other
influencers and so it seemed like a good kind of match and then we also wanted to
make it fun right so we added layers to this right like yeah you get a key but
that keys also gonna be tradable maybe Ludi will talk about this too it's like
so you don't have to redeem that key you can trade that key like what does
that trade for is there a fun like speculative premium that people just
redeem their keys and get their assets like we wanted to add some layers to
make it fun and engaging for for everyday users and then also like what
do people like well a lot of people like blue boxes right like I looked at
counter-strike go and I'm like they like loot boxes they like a loot box
experience it's a fun thing you're kind of like opening up this thing what am I
gonna get and so we wanted to you know also make the experience fund where
people then could create content about their experience like I saw the Azuki
elementals and do their they did their beans right and beans were like half the
fun was people opening them you know people were making videos about them
just like opening their beans I'm like okay well let's add that element in
there it's like not only is it fun and engaging you're getting a fun way of
getting these things and then the way in which you receive the item you can
actually make content for which then should also help you go up the leader
board so I tried to make it as like you know deep as possible and try to make it
all kind of work together and inspects a great partner for that because I think
you guys allow people to you know work to grind their way up that leaderboard
which is important for me
amazing I love the context there and I think that's a great a great time to
kind of introduce ludi and everything that they've been working on and kind of
explain the background on the idea and kind of how they're going to be involved
in how it's actually gonna work yeah yeah absolutely take it over from there
the background on on ludi is simple rewards and loyalty programs in web 3
suck I think that we've seen many variations of them just not done well I
think a lot of it is because many LNR platforms are siloed either specifically
to rewarding your project or or your followers or your something and instead
with this like we have no intention to really say ludi NFT we want to really
reward everyone in an ecosystem we want to be utilized by the platforms by the
collections by the community to reward their community to reward everyone kind
of around them and so yeah yeah with with this it's super simple the the first
experience that we're rolling out with is this key and crate model where the
keys are NFTs like Dom explain tradable redeemable they open crates on platform
with the the drops really being tied to the partners the you can expect the keys
to be tiered in any number of ways for this dropper we're really rolling out
with three different tiers silver silver gold and platinum the the tiers
correspond to a percent chance of hitting a certain rarity of reward this
drop there's gonna be 700 keys we have over 3,000 avalanche rewards and in this
coming one so it's it's pretty exciting first release force yeah tip of the
iceberg and that's another thing too to mention about all this is like the assets
inside the crates you know we're buying these out of the market so there's also
that incentive for people who maybe have NFTs and they have a bunch and they want
to sell some like we're kind of stimulating both sides right like we're
buying this time is around 3,000 Avax worth of NFTs out of the market so it's
putting money into the hands of traders and then then those NFTs are reciprocated
back to the broader community which you know a lot of those I think every single
NFT and said that collections eligible for trading points so a lot of them have
liquidity on them so you can actually go and sell them you can keep them and join
the community maybe even borrow against them on a lending platform so we're
kind of incentivizing all sides of the market here in a fun way yeah and I also
just want to add to that in the sense of you know a lot of incentives programs
typically come from foundations and like Dom had mentioned here of course we're
gonna be helping out early on but one thing that I think was overlooked and
one thing that I'm excited about with Ludi is really looking at these external
partnerships that are going to drive kind of the long-term sustainability of
a platform like this and so you know Jake may or may not want to kind of get
into it right now but the first one launched is with exit festival and
that's only kind of the tip of the iceberg in terms of different teams
they're talking to different teams we're talking to to kind of bring in an
audience from their perspective but also offer you know the native Avax
community with different rewards that necessarily aren't solely within the
ecosystem so I think that's one of the really exciting parts and obviously
that's the long-term kind of business plan in terms of where Ludi will be
sustainable so wanted to add that I think that's a very exciting part of
this whole thing as well yeah and it's an excellent point to actually bring up
where where they're not done in web done well in web 3 they're very they're done
very well in web 2 and so how do we bridge that gap for web 2 brands
companies platforms to want to actually start to use this tech and then bring
more of their user base into this kind of web 3 ecosystem growing ecosystems
at large here whether it be avalanche or any chain and so yeah exit festival
being one of the first partners that we have it's been teased on site it's been
teased in some of the things that we've shared we don't really put out huge
drops on it but yeah music festivals this is a really excellent experience
for them to utilize to tackle their fan base tap into the the users within web
3 already and with that it gives us the cool ability to to kind of create new
ways that people will view NFTs entirely so if people look at ticketing right now
I think ticketing also has not been done overly well with this we could have VIP
tickets experiences all tokenized one in creates redeemed on platform that's
where you start to obviously bridge into web 2 again adding your email but I
mean you have to attend these these these events with your body so get over
it but yeah yeah no it's it's it's definitely cool to bring in all of these
external partners now that we have a context on on Ludie and everything that
we're doing here a whale I saw your hand up I have my typical question that I
always ask you on these spaces but I think it's never your answer has never
mattered more than today but before I ask it go ahead yeah I know what the
question is Mike I think every time we're on space together it gets brought
up sooner or later but before you go into that maybe a question for for
Dominic and and show you again what can be because I did a post on kind of your
your call up with inspect yesterday and the question I received the most is kind
of what can people expect when it comes to the comes to rewards within Ludie so
maybe before we get into how Ludie works with with the keys can you give people
a little insight into what I can expect I know you already mentioned like NFTs I
assume it will be NFTs from the AVEX NFT ecosystem anything else you can you can
tease for the people in the audience look at you you're asking the good
questions so right now we're starting with NFTs from the avalanche ecosystem
and so you can go and look through you know some of the largest collections that
do a lot of the volume things like Dokyo, Steady, Dokhaibi, and several other
collections that we offer so we're starting there and again it's it's a
good way for us to kind of incentivize the NFT ecosystem but we're looking at
adding a lot of things to these you know ideas I thought of our like real world
assets maybe even meme coins so there's a lot that I like we can put into these
things and so it's it's this is an evolving and an ever-evolving program
right but and this what I've kind of been telling my community is like this
is a relatively new thing right like I you know I don't think any ecosystem
I've seen personally do this and so like this is new there's gonna be you know
some bumps with getting the leaderboard down there's gonna be some people might
try to game it right there's gonna be some probably some some gamification
with loot boxes so we want to start in like small get get through like
everything right and so we're gonna start with NFTs and then we'll kind of
you know love level it up as we go I think I think I think I've dropped
enough alpha there for people to kind of start to maybe draw some connections
let's go love it for the people in the audience maybe bring it to to Lutie real
quick to kind of understand how it how it works right because people who
wake up leaderboard they dominate you won't just send them the NFTs but they
will be part of kind of this gamified loot box loot box system so maybe Lutie
you can yeah give us an intro in how it in how it works what we can do with the
keys how your how your loot boxes work and maybe overall kind of what you are
what you're building number three yeah so from the perspective generally of
Lutie we're building L&R systems so loyalty and reward programs for various
platforms communities to utilize so again a loot crate model like a key and
create models just one of many so with to keep it simple and tied to to what
we're discussing right now the keys again are minted on platform
they're NFTs so they're your NFT to do with what you want the you can trade
them on whatever marketplace you can send them to another wallet like the
the wall you minted with does not determine like what you can open the
crate with it's just the key the key if you're looking to redeem and open the
crate great come back to the Lutie platform go to the the corresponding
drop in this case there's only gonna be one so it's gonna be it won't be
confusing for anyone you'll see open open with you can decide which key so
let's say you have one of each you have a silver gold and platinum you can
decide oh I just want to use the silver because the plans trading at a premium
great select silver open with silver the key is then redeemed leaves your wallet
and it's burned so it's this kind of reducing supply towards the silver
towards platinum every time they're they're opened flywheel goes around
reward is presented on screen automatically goes to your wallet
confetti pops on and you win whatever reward is is opened that simple the the
drops themselves will be timed so we'll be looking at I won't put out dates on
the exit kind of giveaway when we're putting this first drop on but you can
expect that from the opening before the next drop or going into the next drop
that will close these crates so there's a time base setting to to the crates to
be aware of but yeah that's that's really about it yeah and odd one thing
there too we talked about like gamification fun things for users and
that keys just represent a better right like like you mentioned a better chance
of winning so you know the best key might increase your odds but still the
person who has like the lowest level key can still win right and so it kind of
creates this thing where it's like okay you can maybe hold a key and if the
rewards pools get low enough where enough people has redeemed but the prizes
are still good your low-level key now becomes kind of valuable right because
your odds of hitting have gone up or it can work in the inverse side where it's
like people redeem really quickly and a lot of them win the higher level prizes
so there's a lot of even like fun games I think to be played around like okay
that you know the basically like the time to redeem is ending and seeing like
how that works out to people redeem really really fast early do they wait
until the end do they do it somewhere in the middle do those do those trade at a
premium like with the lower the lower the supplies total gets so there's a lot
of like fun things I think I'm interested to like watch the market
play out because like you know we can't prepare for it right it's gonna happen
and so it'll be interesting like learning experience to see like how this
stuff works yeah I could add some additional clarity to the keys
themselves again whichever key you have you will win something that's why we made
our motto we only win it's important to understand that so if you have a silver
key which I was pointing out there is that you still have a chance with the
silver key to receive the top reward I believe the rewards within this drop
some of them are over like 200 avalanche so that would be that kind of
example the platinum key on the inverse sites also still has a while a chance a
small chance to win a lower end reward of one avalanche reward let's say so
it's it's simply just reward economics keeps everything very fair across the
keys are very easy to understand and yeah as as less in or I should say as
more and more low-end rewards are claimed the the chance of hitting those
higher-end ones obviously increases
perfect now now though everyone gets what we're doing how it's going to
happen I gotta ask my question I was asked whale and it's it this is honestly
the most important time for the community to get your insight into this
because they'll be rewarded to how well they listen to the advice and how well
they can execute on increasing the ranking so whale what's some advice that
you can give to everyone listening and how they can rank up higher on inspect
and just keep on getting more reach get more of the overall community to see
their and gain their their content yeah I think first of all what's important to
to note for the specific campaign is that it's limited to to a vex PFPs right
so if you look at the the leaderboard you can you can filter kind of the the
leaderboard when it comes to comes to the chain of each each PFP and of
course like when you have all change the theory on polygon a vex all of them
activated of course you you will see like people with a lot of with a lot of
global reach and a lot of competition coming the top top 100 but I checked
yesterday I guess it went up a little bit after after the announcement but
when it comes kind of to the a vex rankings if you yeah I have like good
good reach like something around five two to five percent you're already
ranking pretty high so that's maybe the first first important note for the
people in the audience and then when it comes to increasing it I think yeah
doing producing content that people like to like to see when it comes to this
specific campaign I guess producing content kind of around a vex around a
vex PFP or NFT ecosystems that could be interesting because you're kind of
penetrating the key the key a vex a vex audience and then I don't know Mike
maybe you can I don't know if it was already mentioned kind of how long
season one is season one is running but I assume it will be at least a few few
weeks so I think consistency is also important in in putting out condom
because low breach is always flexuring right when it comes to your performance
kind of on the in the NFT community over a longer period of time so having
consistency is probably also good yeah a good point to start two percent over the
entire season is probably worth more than five percent for a week and then
zero percent for for the rest of the season but maybe Mike you can share a
little bit more about how long the season will go on can't touch like like
Lutie Lutie was saying before can't touch too much we're still we want we are
going to be giving more information as time goes on what we will confirm this
is just the beginning and this this is a learning phase for everyone so everyone
in the audience if first season doesn't go as you planned or as you had hoped
there's other seasons that will there's other seasons in the future and there's
a lot of opportunity here and I guess this is a good time of any for for us to
kind of go through some of the common issues and troubleshooting we've seen
everyone's DMS we've seen what people have been saying we devs have been
working to figure everything out and get everything working as smooth as possible
so I'll have inspect account kind of take you through what are some of the
common issues and troubleshooting for that yeah for sure thanks Mike so
I think one of the most important things that all people on their reward
site right now should acknowledge is if you see the available green badge that
means you're automatically qualified for the season one of the things people were
experiencing yesterday which I believe is fixed now is that you may have not
seen a green checkmark on the right which was just a UX bug but if you have
the available badge you're all good feel free to actually revisit the
website and go through the whole process again it should totally work if not I do
have a few steps for you guys to take one of them is please make sure to read
the entire post of our announcement it should have all the details on how to
qualify how to participate and also it links you to an article which really
goes in-depth on different problems different issues and then the last thing
is please open a ticket if something's still not working and we'll make sure to
actually get there but do not worry everything is only up from here and then
I'm gonna add to that open a ticket DM me DM the inspect accounts DM the mods
on on discord where we're here to support so just let us know and in terms
of all the new projects that filled out the the the the onboarding form to get
tracking where we're gonna get we're getting to that right now everyone will
will be highlighted so do not worry yeah and then just to quickly bring it back
here to in terms of content creators obviously we've seen that PFPs have
played a very important role in building your brand so I do understand
what whale means in terms of just how important it is and I've seen you talk
to talk about it will also and so one of the things we're really curious about is
now that there's an incentive program how much are people gonna be more likely
to switch up their entire brand which is their whole web through identity to go
and explore another chain that is actually you know rewarding and
acknowledging their participation compared to other chains so whale on
that note I'm just curious overall what do you think is gonna happen more than
are you gonna do it or not just more your thoughts on the overall program
yeah people ask below my post is a day I'm not gonna change change my PFP any
time soon unless as you get bridging to to a vex and maybe don't they can can
just have alpha alpha there but yeah I think on your point we've seen a lot of
people change the PFPs in the past few in the past few months and I think it
kind of became the consensus that your personal brand is more than just your
your PFP it's what you do in the space it's maybe your your name so it's not
just your your PFP so I can certainly see a lot of people people switching
their their PFPs another thing that I heard yesterday though kind of from the
replies to the post I did that a lot of people maybe that's a it's an
opportunity for for kind of content creators now that the campaign is
campaign is going to do some education on what are the top collections on on a
vex what are the top communities on on a max like whether you want to join
which are good good PFPs to use so that's probably the next the next step
there just some some more education around around that part and I'll have
one thing there too because when when I was starting to create this I I wanted
to speak to a lot of the content creators I know that you know I respect
and I know you're you're pretty close with men and and a few others and I was
talking to him about this and he's like he's like you know like something like
this he's like will you know all the top biggest people switch he's like probably
not no he's like but when he's like when I was putting myself in my in my in my
shoes and he was talking to me about his growth in the space he's like when I
joined all the thought leaders were people who were wearing poor tapes he's
like and when I've been to the Zuki he's like I talked to Z and I said I'm gonna
like do that for a Zuki like that's what I'm gonna do I'm gonna wear one and
I'm gonna like become a thought leader for for that he's like he's like so he's
like if I was putting myself in my shoes of kind of someone who's up and coming and
like still trying to find their footing he's like this seems like something I
would have definitely done and that like in that like I could join one of these
communities understand what these projects are about see if I align and
then you know make that part of my brand and my growth right and I think
your your your statements really valid in that like I think a good content
thread around like what are some of the top communities what are the PFPs you
know who are the founders why do they matter can be a very good you know
intro thread for for people in those situations that are like this interests
me I'm on that cusp of like not at the top not at the bottom but I'm still
trying to find my footing I think these are great opportunities for those people
yeah I think one thing I would just add to that too is when you're exploring
something new for the first time whether it's a community whether it's a chain
it makes content creation a lot easier because really you're just going through
it firsthand and it's just you're creating whatever that's coming to your
mind rather than something that you've kind of been in for a while and you have
to put together ideas and it takes some time so I think that's an intriguing
factor as well and I think it also aligns with obviously for us on the
avalanche side like contact creation is really big to kind of spread the word
of what's going on what's happening etc and aligning those goals with rewarding
folks for doing so I think really is just the full the full scope and picture
here so it's gonna be really exciting to kind of see how that continues to play
out on the content side of things
I'm excited to see how this this all plays out and I'm Dom I'm curious in
your opinion everyone who's maybe getting new to to the Avax community
everyone who's maybe getting new to content creation and this might give
them the push that they need who who would you say they should watch out for
who should they look at inspo from within the community honestly right now I think
stupid has been doing a really good job in terms of like grinding in terms of
like long-form content like the stuff I see that like whale and others do
whether it's like long-form like threads or videos I still think that is like
that crown I don't think has been like given yet to be honest some of the best
like video based content I see is from Avery who I see in the crowd and he
works at avalanche so I do think there's a an opportunity right now for someone
to kind of take that mantle and I think with that comes tremendous upside right
like if you look at avalanche as a chain that's here to stay and you and you look
at its long-term potential growth you're the person who assumes that role really
is gonna share in a ton of that upside and growth if they can kind of you know
take that crown and so I wouldn't say there's like a long-form content or a
video person yet but I'm hopeful that this can kind of start to establish that
amazing so yeah just for everyone in the audience I'm gonna quickly recap
everything that we're doing and I know some of us already might need to go so
for everyone here who's listening in we've launched a new platform feature on
our website called inspect rewards go on inspect XYZ app and find rewards there
you'll see season one which is a collaboration between Avax and Lutie
all you need to do this is a very simple two-step process is you have to have an
Avax PFP and you need to be connected on our website which validates that you
actually have the Avax and FT and then you're qualified to be eligible for
season one so please go check it out another note that we already mentioned
we're troubleshooting a few issues make sure to visit the medium article that we
put out and if something's still not working feel free to open a ticket we
