Hello, hello, super excited to be here, a lot of familiar faces, a lot of new faces.
Shiv, how are you doing?
I'm doing fantastic man, how are you doing?
I'm good, getting ready for the next run of events coming up with NFT NYC next week in Dubai.
Exciting time, especially with the bull right now, hopefully I didn't jinx everyone.
Fingers crossed.
Yes, Eddie, how are you doing?
Uncle Eddie.
Dude, magical, magical.
Yeah, I became Uncle Eddie by accident.
Anselm took my Twitter and changed my stuff when I was sleeping.
I was so damaged by the blue check mark being gone, I didn't know if I could handle going through that again.
So I'm now Uncle Eddie, I'm very happy.
I woke up and all my billionaire friends were talking about Sui and just having a good day man.
Love that.
Rohan, how are you doing?
GMGM guys, doing well.
Crazy got up to Sui over $2, airdrop season popping, everyone's talking about Sui, Uncle Eddie confirming that, validating that.
It's a good day for a day.
Let's go.
So before I jump in, just for all the new people here joining in, I'd love to introduce and set the stage.
One inspect is to whoever doesn't know what it is.
And also the whole premise of today's space is to discuss how we partner with Sui and we'll be integrating their ecosystem into our platform to give them the spotlight and give their ecosystem the spotlight that they deserve.
So on inspect side, we have two main tools, a web app and a browser extension.
Both are powered by advanced AI tech that gives you the lowdown on market trends for NFTs, crypto and DeFi.
Firstly, our web app, think of it as your go to for keeping tabs on what's buzzing in the NFT world.
We analyze social sentiments, focusing on which NFT collections and Twitter profiles are gaining traction, where our global reach metric ranks these, helping you quickly spot the major influencers and top collections across all the chains.
Then there's our Chrome extension, which is really what we're known for and what everyone uses this for mainly, which is this is the game changer for Twitter users.
It's like having a mini trading station right in your Twitter feed.
You get all the important information from token news, token info and more without ever having to leave Twitter.
We're adding a lot more trading features soon.
Just hit the inspect button on any Twitter page once you have the extension downloaded and you'll see what I mean.
Just to summarize, our platform provides a centralized, accurate source for evaluating projects and market trends and to overall help people navigate the cryptocurrency market and make informed decisions.
So now leading into our integration with SUI, I'd love to kind of just start off and Rohan, if you can kind of just take people through what you guys have been building, how it's been going and to people from our community who might not be familiar with your ecosystem,
just to give them the context that they need.
Yeah, absolutely.
And good to meet you all just as a quick introduction.
So I had the strategic investments and partnerships here at Mr. Labs.
And Mr. Labs is the launch contributor for the SUI protocol and the associated SUI token.
We went live on mainnet a little less than a year ago in May.
So it's coming up.
The one year anniversary is coming up quick.
And for folks who have not heard about SUI, we are a non-EVM L1 blockchain that is primarily focused on bringing in the next hundred million billion users on board into the blockchain ecosystem.
And one of the core things that the team noticed was how fragmented the entire experience of getting users into Web3 is.
So our focus from day one has been how do we make it possible, leveraging the existing user experiences in Web2 and providing that onboarding experience to users without them having to think about NAMIC wallets, the clutter onboarding aspects,
because the layman would not be using all the tools that are created that only make the user experience hard.
So we have been hyper focused on how do we build the right ecosystem, right community, right products that leverage the Web3's power of scalability, security, privacy, but at the same time provide that seamless user experience that every one of us have gotten used to.
So behind the scenes, we have been taking a very strategic approach around bringing in liquidity into our ecosystem.
So TVL, that's just popping, it's over 700 million in TVL this morning.
I'll be one of the top 10 chains by that metric. Our gaming ecosystem is starting to come alive.
We have a lot of meme coins that are going to be launched to just stay up with the trend.
On the NFT side, we continue to push out new on-chain standards and features that help NFTs evolve beyond just PFPs and the static images that we have gotten so used to.
We have prioritized the dynamic NFTs where everything could be composable.
We have enabled royalty-enforced marketplaces, which are again composable and you can instill your business models right into it.
ZK login making onboarding super easy.
ZK Send, where you can send crypto to your friends, family, whoever, just with a click off the button.
So those are the things that are front and center for us.
And we position ourselves as a technology infrastructure company and that's solving for real problems, real world problems that exist with the power of blockchain tech.
I love that. You guys have a lot going on, a lot of exciting things.
I'd love to maybe dive deep into all those different things that you mentioned.
You spoke about gaming, you spoke about marketplaces, you spoke about tokens.
For everyone that's new to the Sui ecosystem, what would you say are the top KOLs that people should be looking out for, the top NFT projects, the top marketplaces?
Where should people be on the lookout for?
Yeah, I'll take them all one at a time.
So for the KOLs, you already have some on the call.
Uncle Eddie right up here, minister of NFTs, we've got Menaces Society and there's so many more that are not here.
I cannot DJ tricks us right here.
They've been amazing support to our ecosystem, helping spread the narrative, being the evangelists and amazing humans that they are.
On the marketplace front, the folks here should definitely check out Tradeport, which is our number one marketplace, Hyperspace.
And those are kind of the two major NFT marketplaces and they've been doing amazing work, leveraging not only what already exists within the NFT space, but whatever on-chain standards that Sui is pushing out.
They have been championing their foot and trying to showcase how dynamic NFTs could look in various marketplaces and working side by side as partners with us.
And on the NFT front, oh man, where do we even start, right?
So we've got the Sui Labs, Fuddies, we have Enforcer Machine, we have Pugs That Fudd that's about to launch soon, Puppy Bear NFTs that's coming alive.
We have DSL on these Sui Labs.
So there's a lot cooking, guys, and the amazing aspect of this would be how these NFT products are going to be V2 from where we were in the previous cycle, connecting your NFTs to real-life data, whether it be your token price or your on-chain activities or your digital activities.
I think that's where the power of it all starts coming to life.
And then goes without saying, like, you know, we are actively looking at various meme coins that are being cooked by communities behind the scene.
And I wish you could drop the alpha and the nuggets all on this call, but it would be unfair to the teams that are really building behind the scenes.
But I'm talking about, you know, leveraging influencers and QL support from folks who are almost the Mr. Beast in their own capacity on VEP2, you know, the folks who have like massive presence in VEP3 who are helping power and champion some of these efforts.
So I can't even wait to reveal all of that.
But to your question long after short, we have those marketplaces, the NFTs are cooking, and the QLs here are jamming side by side with us.
I love that. I'm going to try and hopefully squeeze some alpha out of you. What's coming up? We'll leave that for later.
I'd love to throw a question to Shiv, minister and uncle.
It's typically a question that I ask Will when I'm on here. Unfortunately, he couldn't make it.
But with now it's expanding over to to what to suey.
How would you what advice would you give to up and coming content creators, up and coming thread writers, people who are looking to grow their community and go up the rankings on InSpec on the suey leaderboard?
Man, do you want to go Shiv and then I'll go because Shiv raised his hand. I'd like to respect the hand.
And I respect Uncle Eddie.
Well, you're my brother, so you're going first and then I'll go.
I appreciate it, man. I think for up and coming creators, oftentimes people try to imitate other successful creators.
And often what that leads to is you not being genuine to yourself.
And you can take a look at a lot of top creators in space.
They all have something that's individual to themselves.
And for anyone that's aspiring to climb the ladder, reach the top or however you want to do it, look for a pocket that hasn't been touched yet.
Look for something that other people are not really paying attention to and try and grow that, right?
I think there's a lot of advantages that come to being a fast mover and a lot of growth that comes from it as well.
So if you're someone who wants to come up, look for something that other people are not typically doing and prioritize it.
Make it your top skill set.
For a while, back in the day, there were not many people doing spaces and a lot of key spaces that you see now have been hammering that skill.
Same thing goes for video editing, content writing, etc.
See what you're best at, see what perhaps other people are not doing and really push that heavily and you'll be known for it.
And I think there's a lot of growth that comes from it as well.
Very well said, sir.
I just think there's just so much very simple education to begin with because for me, I was like Mr. Solana,
the first time I grabbed, jumped on a Phantom wallet, I was like, oh my God, the blockchain can go this fast.
I was like, holy shit.
And then fast forward a few years, I downloaded my SWE wallet and jumped on turbos, I think was the first place that I went to,
just from a recommendation of friends just to get some Solana over to SWE and make a swap.
But the front ends and the speed and the comfortability, it was just life changing.
But to me, ETH felt like Windows 95 and Solana felt like Apple.
And I kind of got that similar experience when I first jumped on SWE.
So I can definitely start with a simple SWE wallet.
I wrote a little thread the other day that can give you some speculative direction on upcoming airdrops,
which for creators, that's all people want.
People just want to learn something.
You don't have to recreate the wheel or do anything too crazy.
Let's just educate everyone how to just simply get in.
And I think with my thread that I wrote for under $500, you could participate in these seven to 10 speculated airdrops.
So the information is out there and there's plenty of room to go educate other people.
And I think as a creator, just to answer the question, that's kind of the direction that I'm taking.
It's like, let's get these people some good information.
I mean, you can always have fun buying poo poo moo moo and all the other tokens.
But there's some real protocols here.
And if you miss Jupiter on Solana or you missed Pith or you missed these life-changing airdrops,
I think you have quite some time or at least a little bit of time to get involved over here on this end
and participate in these big protocols early.
And it's not as scary as you think, switching to blockchain or using a different blockchain.
And the last bull was like us versus them.
Now we all get along. We're all using everything.
And I think there's a whole lot of room and a whole lot of space to grow over here.
So I personally started with SWE wallet, just like quote unquote SWE wallet.
This blue logo is an extension you throw on Chrome, jumped on turbos and got some stuff bridged over quick.
Got myself the big meme going and got myself an NFT.
Started playing with some of the DeFi protocols.
And I just literally just went through this little checklist just to know how it works and just see it.
And my experience was that the front ends are so beautiful and the user experience is so clean.
It's just different.
Like every blockchain has its feel.
Like I said, it kind of feels like Windows 95 to me that Solana kind of came like the Apple.
And now we have this new one here.
It's not even new.
It's about to be a year old and all the front ends are smooth and clean.
Like I check in turbos every week.
There's rewards.
We just check in.
I think every Monday like there's these little simple things and I'm assuming I'm farming these airdrops.
This is all speculated.
But again, like there's all these cool little places that you can go to with beautiful front ends that work flawlessly missed.
It's freaking insane.
I just it's just insane how smooth everything is over there.
But yeah, that's kind of like what I have.
Educate people.
Try the basics.
Like, you know, there's a Jupiter equivalent, a radio equivalent, a Camino equivalent, you know, all the stuff.
Liquid staking, lending.
It's all there.
It's all waiting for you.
So yeah, you know, kind of what I got for you there, brother.
I love that.
There's a there's a lot of there's a lot of ways right now to utilizing like an audience and just in general, just there's a lot of money going around in Web 3 right now from like you said, airdrops to a variety of other opportunities.
And I think with Sui and the ecosystem being so early in comparison to others, there's a lot of growth and there's a lot of opportunities for people, especially like once again, like you said, the earlier you are, you have that that first first movers advantage.
I guess I'm got a question, a question to you.
You're speaking a lot about a variety of different things from.
I'm curious, like what you think, like which traditional Web 2 sectors would you say you're particularly excited about transitioning into Web 3?
And have you seen like how Sui is getting involved?
That being that you're you're one of the top kowals there in that in that chain.
I mean, dude, these guys are kicking ass, right?
Like like you hear me reference Solana a lot because they did a lot of things right.
But I'm seeing Sui do a lot of those things right in their own different ways, too, like like the in real life event efforts are crazy.
Like I'm flying out to Paris for their for their big event coming up in the next few weeks, like they're they're building the community and they're there.
And you can meet the foundation and you can meet the people on these teams.
And that was always my favorite thing about about Solana, which I'm feeling over here at Sui now is like, yeah, we have access.
Like like these guys are interested in their community.
They're interested in hearing from us.
Like they work with us.
They want to know what's up, what we want.
And they point us in the right direction.
Like I love a hands on blockchain and the hands on tech team behind it.
So for me, I just felt right at home.
I'm like, yeah, these guys are great.
Like I have a line to them and I know what events are happening.
And and like I said, the front ends, man, like I'm an Adobe guy.
Like I grew up making content with like Adobe Premiere version one and like, you know, everything in between.
So like when I get on a smooth front end and I'm like, bang, swap.
I'm like, oh, nice colors.
And like everything just feels so lovely there.
So yeah, I don't know if that really answers your question, but I really love for the Web 2 stuff, bro.
This is happening and Sui is a great place to do it.
I mean, I come from Web 2, right?
Like I launched the list.
I launched Postmates and I made some serious effects on some of the biggest user apps in the world.
And those people are starting to text me.
Like I just had my buddy who owns like Planet Hollywood hit me up.
And that's a huge, huge chain.
Those guys own Mr. Beast Burger and all this other stuff.
And they're like, dude, all right, we're ready.
I'm like, well, I've been hitting you up for seven years.
Remember you were laughing at me for the last six and like, you know, I give them a big work warm welcome hug.
And you know, if they need a line to a direct foundation like like Sui's got open arms.
So I think I think there's a big bridge to be had there and conversations like that to be had.
I'm out here in Hollywood and all these people are just ready.
Like I got these guys from Instagram hit me up.
I got these guys from TikTok hit me up.
I got the companies hit me up.
I mean, it's here, guys.
They're just learning how to buy crypto.
They don't even have Coinbase yet.
Most of these people are waiting for their seven days for their deposits to clear.
I mean, it's just beginning.
So I think there's so much room for gaming, for DeFi, for creators on Sui.
I think there's room for everybody.
And, you know, again, like I said, I think what users want is a clean experience and a clean front end.
And that's what I've gotten from, you know, 99.9% of the products I've tested and played with.
So plenty more learning for me to do, plenty more growth.
But I'm definitely going to, you know, when these phone calls happen,
like I feel comfortable putting them in contact with Rohan.
Like I feel comfortable putting these lifelong contacts in position with people at the Sui Foundation and Mist and Lab.
So I mean, I'm just bullish.
Like, you know, simply put, I'm bullish.
I use the products every day.
I'm telling my friends about it.
And, you know, when these retail and Web2 guys come through, you know, there's three places I'm pointing them.
And it's Bitcoin, Sui, and Solana, like straight up.
That's where I spend my time, you know, and again, having the support and connection to the actual companies themselves is priceless.
And having these big in real life conferences and big in real life events, like even what we did in Paris was for NFT NYC relatively small.
It was exquisite.
And we had some amazing people there.
And it was such a good time.
And I have lifelong relationships.
I'm talking to these people daily now.
So the last time I caught that was, you know, in Solana hacker houses when they started.
On Spaces, you guys say Sui, I'm there, bro.
Like, I'm very excited.
And I would encourage everyone to, wherever you are in the world, pay attention to Sui's Twitters and Mistin's Twitters because they have events popping up.
And you can go meet these guys and you can go make your dream job or make your dream product.
Like, I literally did it by going to one hacker house one time.
And these in real life events are so key and educating your community and moving up on InSpec.
It's all part of it.
So, you know, my advice to everybody is to just get involved.
The more you show up, the more you get.
That goes for everything in life.
But these guys are giving you, like, free events and, like, free education.
And we are, like, pouring information at you.
So I would just ask that everybody receive it and give it a little fucking whirl, you know?
I'm going to chime in.
And, Eddie, we said it's true.
RL is the alpha.
That being said, am I going to see you in NFT NYC next week?
Of course.
And I'm turning 35 there.
So it's going to be a big blowout.
And I'm going to New York to pass this to Sui, baby.
We love to see it.
Love to see it.
Dude, I love everything you're saying about Sui.
It comes from a place of law conviction.
That being said, what measures is Sui taking to increase its visibility and adoption among potential users?
Like you said, it's a year old.
What are the next four steps to kind of really put it on the radar?
Yeah, quite a lot, right?
To your point, being a year old is it never is an excuse, like, where we at?
Our ecosystem is growing tremendously fast.
Sometimes it's scary to me, right?
I've been in this space long enough to realize I haven't seen this kind of bombastic growth, so to speak.
But as far as the visibility piece is concerned, right?
So for us, it's important to look internally in terms of what's our north star, right?
What are we trying to achieve?
And for us, everything is driven by how do we create an amazing user experience for people,
and providing them the power of Web3 without them even having to know about it, right?
So that's always where it is, right?
That's what brings users into the ecosystem when they're interacting with applications,
when they're interacting with tools without having to think that I have to do XYZ steps in order to get incentivized
or log in or whatever that case may be.
So our marketing team is really going in all in, pumping on all cylinders.
I know I have Christina here from the SWE Foundation.
The SWE Foundation themselves are here, right?
So we've started with the hackathons, build their houses across the globe.
If you haven't already subscribed to that, definitely look into it.
We have an active RFP, the Equivalent Grants Program, that the Foundation is launching as well.
We have, you know, we partner with Trifoint to launch our Thing SWE program,
which was, again, to incentivize the creators and the builders on SWE blockchain.
We have our flagship conference coming out, which Eddie was alluding to earlier
during the Press Blockchain Week on April 10 and 11.
You'll hear from people from the volleys of the world to the Formula One racing team
and everyone else who is leveraging or looking at SWE or Web3 at large participating
and talking about not just the technological aspects that SWE has been able to champion,
but also how we are actively engaging with our community,
which is small compared to some of the bigger ones, but we are, you know, stronger together.
And the goal is to keep increasing that quality inflow of people, community members,
because we know at heart that's where it all starts.
We need to have the champions who will not only bring in quality folks like themselves,
but also build quality applications leveraging the tech, which can only be done on SWE and nowhere else.
So all, and to say that there are a lot of small steps that are being taken,
starting this year and late last year, which is really going to position SWE
amongst some of the biggest, fastest ecosystems in the crypto ecosystem.
And we can't wait to do all of that with folks who are already involved,
but also here on this call who would want to come along on that journey with us.
I love that.
And one of the most important aspects in general,
like of chain or just companies building at your scale,
is how do they support the founders and the people building on their chain, right?
Like if you don't have the builders on your chain,
you won't really have that mass adoption and the growth that you need
to be successful at the scale that you'd like to be.
So I'd love to like, I'd love to understand more,
how are you supporting the builders, whether it's the NFT projects,
whether it's the token launches, the platforms, et cetera?
Yeah, and I think that's an amazing question.
And this was kind of kudos to the founding team
and the people who have been here from the very get-go.
You know, so just to give you a little more historical context
around where the SWE team and the Meston team comes from.
So if you've heard of the Libra, the Facebook's DM project,
that was essentially where the entire SWE executive team really met,
came together, right?
When Facebook was trying to launch the DM, the Libra project,
Sam Blackshear, who's our CTO,
is essentially the creator of the MOVE programming language,
or the MBM, at this point.
And he's one of the most exceptional minds,
the ego brains within the space,
who's continuing to leverage technology as a way to do good in the world
and champion all the effort that SWE and Mr. Labs is doing.
And all of that is not just theoretical.
These guys have seen how to scale companies,
how to build quality products,
how to take it to market, go to market strategy, and so forth.
So we were very cognizant of this fact.
I mean, obviously, it was prior to my time
because I've been relatively new
compared to all of the folks that have been building here for a while.
But what I saw was really differentiating,
was the team understood the need
of providing that white glove service, right?
That hand-in-hand, we are in this battle,
we are in this war with you to win and capture
as many minds, attention, wallets that there really needs to be.
So we are working with all of our creators, all of our builders.
I mean, as Eddie and Minister and Brian and everyone else,
I'm available to help problem solve, to help find new solutions,
to help unblock as many roadblocks
these NFT projects our creators may have.
Or on the DeFi side, amazing team with Alyssa and Jerry and Luisa
who are constantly bringing in new protocols and products being built on top.
They're constantly 24-7 monitoring what our builders need,
what our teams need.
And one of the things that often gets missing,
and I see our hair quite a bit
compared to some of the other blockchains,
is post-unboating experience, right?
So once an application or a team or developer
decide that they want to come on,
oftentimes those teams struggle to get the right documentation
or get the promise support that they were supposed to get
on the tech front or on the go-to-market side
or just business operations at large.
Our team had made sure that we could provide that bite-love service.
So we have close to 25 solutions engineers
that help problem solve, work on new use cases,
work on engineering problems, tech problems with you.
Our foundation team and our marketing team
provide that handheld support to projects
as they are about to announce or on their PR needs, right?
The same thing goes on the business front
as far as like closing a deal on the legal front.
Working with projects who are looking to launch
but they have no idea where to start.
We have developer relations team
that provides that bite-love service as well.
And all in all, we want to bring all of these creators,
these communities together to experience
and know who they're working with in real life.
Hence, we have all of these hacker houses
and we have this conference coming up in Paris.
And we want to know who we are working with as a whole, right?
At the end of the day, that's the beauty of it all.
We all have been behind the screens
working virtually and everything.
And we want to make sure we provide you the right home,
the right home base where you can not only launch projects,
meet new friends and kind of go and create new unicorns
in battery or wherever you guys are.
So we've taken all of that into account
and provide that extra mile support that's needed
for a lot of these projects to succeed.
Well then, I know we're speaking a lot
on the overall SUI ecosystem,
but I'm curious, Rohan, you personally,
what are you most excited about
that SUI and Miss Center building?
A lot. A lot of it, obviously, I would say is alpha.
But I would say I'll answer that with kind of the vertical
that I'm really seeing.
We are really excited about, right?
Gaming, obviously, is one of our bigger verticals
that we've been focusing on.
We're working with a ton of AAA gaming studios,
Web3 gaming companies.
We just had at GDC our own gaming summit,
the SUI Gaming Summit,
and we had to showcase a lot of the games that are in works.
So that's kind of a huge emphasis for us.
I'm looking at more closely on how do we leverage NFTs
to create lower tier reward platform?
How do we bring in brands and Web2 companies,
leverage our tech without their communities
or end users feeling that they have this clunky experience?
Social buy is a huge area of interest,
RWA or real world assets.
And when I say it, it does not apply just to bonds
and financial institution or markets.
I'm talking about art.
I'm talking about artifacts,
any other new utilities that could be fractionalized
or could be placed on blockchain.
It's super valuable.
Cross-section of AI and blockchain
is something we're looking at very deeply.
Just to give an example,
we announced a partnership with the Comic Con equivalent
of the Middle East,
working with an AI hardware tooling,
which essentially rates your Pokemon cards,
gives you a digital experience
where we create a marketplace with the NFT
of that Pokemon card storing on chain.
And as and when the users exchange those cards,
the blockchain updates.
And so I think those are the kind of things
that's super close to us.
We are excited about.
And obviously driving on chain activity with users.
And these are all of those areas where communities exist.
User engagement already is there.
We want to leverage the tech that can power that experience
in its own incentivized and unique manner
using sweet tech.
So those three or four areas, I would say,
are front and center for us.
Okay, amazing.
And I guess going back to the previous question that I asked,
getting maybe a little bit more specific,
because there's one aspect of things
where it's finding new builders,
new founders who have yet to launch their project
to come on and build on Sui.
Before the existing projects,
how are you incentivizing people specifically?
I'm sure you've had a ton of conversations with people,
with founders who are building on Solana, on Ethereum, et cetera.
How are you incentivizing people specifically
to come on and build on Sui?
To anyone in the audience who's maybe looking for a chain
to have the support and build and have a home on?
Yeah, I think there are a few different ways
we are going about that, right?
And a lot of it is not net new, so to speak,
but the mechanics varies across different chains.
But we do have our grants program,
where we incentivize builders,
whether in other ecosystem
or if you're building in Web3 for the first time,
we provide those grants, which are obviously milestone-based,
where, you know, based on the growth of the project
or the product or the platform that's being built,
we unlock those grants for the users.
I'm focused also on the investment side of the house,
so if there are projects that are raising capital
and would be leveraging feature sets within Mistin or Sui,
I should say Sui,
I help provide open up those investment opportunities as well.
And we can figure it out,
like whether it be Saff or Safe or Grants
or a combination of them all.
So we have a few different tools
that we leverage to bring in new creators
and builders into Sui as a whole.
So yeah, and if you're building any project
within NFTs or gaming or sports or Shopify,
please reach out to me.
I think we want to make sure
that we attract the best and the brightest minds
who are creative and are willing to deliver
and execute on the projects
and the promise of the projects and the ideas that they have.
And I can help unblock, you know,
any hurdles that come along the way
from the business perspective,
go-to-market strategy perspective,
on unlocks, et cetera.
And as Eddie and some of the other folks here mentioned as well,
you know, we provide that and have support, so yeah.
I think that's the biggest difference in the world,
you know, just like the straight,
like even the way that I met you guys, it's crazy.
Like that's the way like my crypto journey
went from me working at Lyft
and dealing with Hollywood influencers
to like, yo, I like these people.
I'm going to work here full-time.
You know, it happened at a hacker house
and like I'm so excited to go to Paris
and go to base camp and like meet all the guys
and get like, you know, get my time.
I mean, Rohan, it didn't take much to convince me.
I think it was a one-line text from you yesterday.
You're like, you'd be silly not to come.
I'd be like, okay, I'm there.
Check in with the team, I'm there.
But like, yeah, these people...
Yeah, I mean, I think we're just forming like
real friendship and bonds here, right?
Like I think those are the kind of partnerships
and relationships that last.
You're my boy, Blue.
Yeah, so I mean, you can have fun.
You can understand each other.
You know, it's not just about technology.
We want to build like partnerships in an empathetic
and in a human way possible.
I think that is the broader goal.
For all of us here who's involved,
so yeah, and meet exciting people.
I mean, dude, you can't make this up.
I was literally in Mexico
and there was a gentleman in the lobby
with a sweet shirt on
and I had a 2001 Gently Used Honda Civic shirt on
and he was like, are you that guy from Twitter?
And I was like, yo, is that a sweet shirt?
He's like, yeah, my old team's here.
I'm like, I need to meet them now.
Like, you know, we've stayed in touch
and we work together and we're doing exciting things together
and it's just like awesome.
And it's like, you can't make that up.
So it's just like, you know,
you can't schedule a random hotel meeting,
but you can definitely attend the hacker house
and you can definitely attend base camp
and you can find Rohan and you can find me
and you can find the guys who run the DeFi protocols
and you can, like I said, like, you know,
with a little bit of courage,
you can go create your dream job.
You just got to be open to it.
So I think there's a lot of opportunity here
and if you don't want to work full-time in WebSoup,
there's a lot of opportunity for you to spend your free time here
and, you know, farm some stuff and learn some stuff
and before you know it, you're just an expert
and this all makes sense.
So I think these guys are doing it right
and I think the social side is very important.
So it's really cool to see InSpec and SWE get together
and I love seeing big spaces like this happen so early
for me in the morning and it's great, man.
This is just awesome.
And I also think it was a similar conversation
with the NFT InSpec as well.
Like, the biggest way that you guys provide value
is connect the communities, right?
People are present on different kind of social media platforms,
you know, but you don't always know who belongs
to what community, where do I make friends,
like which NFTs, where, what,
and you guys are the undercurrent that kind of drives all of this.
So really excited to be partnering with you guys
and shining more light into SWE NFT community as a whole
and there's a lot more that's in the pipeline.
Yeah, I mean, look what InSpec's doing.
If you scroll down, you can see these PFPs.
I see Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, SWE, SWE, like,
it's pretty cool because about a year and a half ago,
this would never happen.
It was so us versus them and it's cool to have, you know,
I love anything that supports all chains.
I'm very diversified.
And I want to ask InSpec what you guys are up to.
You're asking us a lot of questions.
I want to know what y'all are up to.
You guys have got a killer product over there, man.
What are we expecting from you, dude?
Oh, putting me on the spot, eh?
Yeah, I just turned the table on it, man.
How's the turntable?
Only way to do it.
Yeah, there you go.
So we have a lot of really exciting stuff.
I mean, we've kind of teased a lot of stuff in the past
from InSpec Pro to we launched our badges not too long ago
where you saw we did something with Pudgy communities,
with Forbes, which we're going to be rolling out
a much more deeper relationship and partnership there.
That's going to be going live soon.
We have a very cool Web2 product that we teased
that's really going to open crypto
and just our product to the masses.
We've been able to grow the Chrome extension quite substantially
to when it was first acquired.
I think we had like 30,000 monthly active users on the extension
and now we've been able to grow to over 40,000 daily active.
So just looking like our number one goal
is to get as many users as possible and expand this
while always giving back to the core community,
which is the NFT ecosystem
and the people that have been supporting us from the beginning.
And through that, it's also important to bridge this
to as many chains as possible,
regardless of the adoption that they have,
regardless to are they the most exciting chain?
Are they in the top 10, top 50?
We want to help and give spotlight to the communities
and projects who are building right
and we're using our community as feedback
on where should we put our focus on
and where should we be building.
And honestly, Sue, we probably should have done
a while back.
People have been wanting it for quite some time.
So I'm excited that we're finally getting there.
But going back just specifically to something
you were speaking about before
where you were saying about,
you're looking for these builders
based off the question that I had asked
and you're saying that to reach out to you, if anything.
So I kind of want to like go into what Eddie said
where being present and going to these events
is one of the best ways to actually foster these relationships
and get these partnerships that are needed.
So I'd love to, if you can let us, let the community know,
when are the next events you're doing?
Where can people find you?
I wish I had the entire list of events that we are hosting.
I can have our team kind of spin that up.
But top my head though,
we are going to be very, very, very present
at the Paris Blockchain Week.
If I haven't mentioned already,
April 10th and 11th,
we have our first flagship conference happening in Paris
called SUI Basecamp.
And it's that a lot of everyone,
well, most of folks who have been building
or in the SUI ecosystem or the teams
at Mistin and at SUI are going to be present.
So that's a great opportunity
if you're a builder or a creator to come say hello,
and join us, and if you need help getting access to,
again, we're here.
We can help get you in and kind of get you in on
some of our builder houses, et cetera.
We want to partner and work with some of the best minds
creators build us out there.
So that's one.
We'll also be at token 2049.
We'll be hosting events,
I want to say April 15, 16, 17.
To double check, don't hold me to that.
But those would be the two things
that we'll be hosting very soon.
And I would say follow SUI network
for any sort of information on regional events
in APAC, in Europe,
and a lot of upcoming announcements
that's going to happen,
and especially on the bigger events as well.
So all of that,
I'm also getting thread behind the scenes.
So thank you to my foundation team
to be giving me some of that information.
We really appreciate it.
So we'll quickly just chime in.
I'm a fan of our own events.
For someone who will be attending one of the events,
what kind of vibe should people expect?
Can I hear you, sir?
Well, maybe it's just me.
Can you guys hear me?
Loud and clear, sir.
Maybe Roy can't hear me,
but I don't know if anyone can value this message.
What type of events and what kind of vibe
should people be expecting?
Can you hear him, Rohan?
Is it doing a weird spaces thing?
It's doing a weird spaces thing for sure.
Yeah, he just asked what kind of vibe
to expect at the SUI events.
Like, are you going to SUI?
Or are you going to more educational?
Is it mellow?
You're welcome.
Only good energy is what I could say.
Be your authentic self.
That's what we care the most about.
Come join us, and we will promise
we'll have a jolly good time, a great time.
So we do have an after event
on day one of our conference as well,
an official SUI Base Camp party.
Then on April 11, we also have a VIP guest dinner
and a party at a very planned location in Paris.
Come join us.
So we'll have everything for everyone
who's going to be there.
No one will feel like they don't fit in,
and that's not the kind of environment
they'll be trying to foster as well.
So be your authentic self.
Come join us.
Well then, I can't wait to attend some of these events.
I unfortunately won't be in Paris,
but we'll be in Dubai.
So excited to see what you guys have been cooking up.
Right before we wrap up,
I'd love to just kind of go deeper
into the integration of what we're doing
and give people in the audience a better idea
of how exactly it's going to work
to those who aren't familiar with how InSpec works.
So InSpec has a dedicated ranking system
that will go live for SUI-based NFTs.
The ranking system can be filtered by floor price,
unique PFPs, PFPs for NFT, community reach.
There'll be a select amount of top projects
on SUI launching at first,
and then many more will be integrated as time goes on.
The tracking system will gradually pick up statistics
for current collections through AI
and machine learning systems,
where the data itself is built on weekly and monthly pulls.
So leaderboards will slowly start to populate over time
as the weeks go by.
Projects can also manually add by filling in a form
that will be live on the website soon.
So once that's live, we'll make it clear
to everyone in the SUI ecosystem.
And what the integration will actually mean
for SUI and its users is we highlight three types of people.
First is the founders.
This will allow founders to assess
their community sentiment and growth,
which will provide data that founders can use
to test marketing campaigns and initiatives.
It'll provide an overview of the top KOLs in the space
that founders can leverage within marketing campaigns
based on which are most suited.
InSpec allows project teams to also gather data
on top ecosystem KOLs to leverage within these initiatives,
and it just serves as an additional tool
to attract attention to that specific project.
For individuals, the rankings will allow users
to explore the SUI ecosystem
based on community sentiment.
It'll expose the overall InSpec users to thought leaders
within the SUI ecosystem
and enable them to deeper their understanding of the chain
and also find the top up-and-coming projects
to potentially mint and invest in,
whereas really the goal here is to enhance
the chain accessibility and allow overall InSpec users
to explore a new NFT ecosystem
that they might not have had visibility to.
But right before we close off,
I'd love, Ron, do you have any closing statements,
anything that we maybe didn't cover?
No, it was pretty exhaustive,
and thank you for hosting this for us, with us.
And the only comment I would say is,
keep an eye out for SUI,
and if you want to come work with us
and collaborate, our doors are always open, right?
We are an open decentralized network,
so if there's exciting ideas
that you would like to work on
and help unlock some of those grants or capital
so you can bring that idea to life, we're here to help.
Whether it be an NFT, whether you're building a game,
whether you're working on some art project,
sports project, commerce project,
all of those are an exciting opportunity
for us to kind of collaborate on,
so please do not hesitate.
And yeah, keep an eye out on this integration with NFT InSpec
because I want to make sure all the SUI NFT holders
first and foremost get to know who their community members are
without any issue, and thanks to our partners here at NFT InSpec
for helping us bring that to life.
I appreciate it. Thank you everyone for coming out,
and we'll see you next time.
