yo brother thanks for having me up man thanks so much i appreciate it uh yeah dude uh it's been
great this past a couple of uh weeks have been very interesting um got activated by
spend and loss and the ape chain team to uh you know work with the blitz game so uh i think we
brought a very kind of interesting or unique side to it all so um you know there was uh you know
an opportunity here to kind of reveal a little bit about the developments on blitz and the game
itself so obviously if you've been following the render pool which you know maybe some of you are
familiar with you know we talk about game developments for other sides so basically
working with the odk and unreal engine and uh so we had matthew who is the one of the founders of a
command line and he's sort of an overall lead there team and then so we had him one week interviewing him just kind of getting a real hierarchy
just kind of view about the launch of the new blitz thornwood map and just like how it was
developing leading a team building for other side with the odk and unreal engine and then the
following week we had mappy back again from the command line
team so that was a treat but this time he brought um this time he brought to uh giraffe man uh which
is their art director and also their lead environment artist so it was a real treat to
have him on because he's kind of deep into the development building the environments and just
kind of like leading the art direction of the just the entire aesthetic for the thornwood map the blitz map
the bathroom area i'm referring to so it was awesome to get his take on a more technical view
how they're building for other side using the odk a lot of interesting technical difficulties
that they come across challenges that they they had to
run into and try to figure out so you know while we play the game it was really nice to be able to
kind of like tap into how these people built this game as well so it was a really nice treat to hear
their perspective and you know there's quite a bit of people in the scene here already have access to the odk to build for other side and you know
the only really way to kind of really fully understand everything is to talk with someone
who has built and launched something on this platform the odk and well we have command line
team who's gracious enough to hang out talk to us chat and so you know it was a really cool two
weeks having them on so hopefully we can get
them back maybe a little later for another update or something since we have a door there of
communication with uh matthew from command line so i'm going to keep that open as best as i can
for our community here so i can keep uh bringing them on for interviews on spaces and maybe in the
discord we could have a cool work session one day but but we'll figure that part out. But next up though,
I'm excited to announce, I just made a post just a little bit ago, but I'm going to have Figgy
on the Renderpool show this week. So this Tuesday, 2 PM, I'm going to have another X Spaces and I'm
going to have Figgy on to talk about OtherSide, ODK developments, the moon, Artemis updates,
you know, the Easter egg hunt. So we're just going to chat about other side in general so really really cool to get figgy on
you know figgy's a legend figgy's uh you know the overseer in the you know as far as the design of
the other side as a product as a whole you know the whole thing how we interact with it how we
use it what interesting tools could we had what you know what way can we use other side you know
to empower creators so if there's anyone who has some good knowledge for creators in this space it
would be Figgy so if you have questions that you need answered as far as like you know what you
could do to activate you know what you could do to create and what way can you create or build something on other side.
I think Figgy is, you know, one of the best people to ask and get tapped into to kind
of understand better with the scene and the spaces.
Like I had been doing bubbles for quite a while and I do miss doing bubbles, but I think these X spaces have kind of been a bit revealing to like maybe like call it, kind of see what people are doing. So
it's building, you know, on other on ODK, you know, and other side. So I'm trying to tap into
more people out there, bring them in. And so that way they can have a, you know, find a home inside
other side, bring them in, make them play, convince them to come play and join up the bubbles and
blitz session, stuff like that so
trying to branch out trying to reach out so doing what we can there but all right i'll shut up now
but yeah that's that's all i got but thanks so much uh yeah and uh oh we had a cozy corner event
last week that went really well with the game session man if you were there holy that was
so funny um if you were there i don't know, anybody here was there for Cozy Corner last week in the Blitz session?
I don't know who all was there here in this bubble, but we had MDF come up, provide sound effects and music for our trivia night.
Yeah, MX was there. MX won a prize. We'll get that prize to you soon, boss.

MDF came, brought on some music and some sound effects,
made the game night intro really cool.
We had Dev come in and provide some backup on the kind of the game formats
and, like, just the logic and the technical side of it.
While I hosted with Angie here, we both kind of held it down.
We took notes, found the winners, hosted, talked and everything,
and Dev backed us up and MDF supported with all the sound effects and music.
So it was a really special night.
So we'll probably do something really chill for this cozy corner coming up
because we just kind of want to take it easy.
