Hello everybody, so we're going to start in five to ten minutes. We're waiting for everybody. Thanks for being here.
All right guys, so I gave the speaker and co-host role to Simon and Arruda, so guys you should be able to talk normally if you accept it.

Hey everyone.
Awesome awesome. So yeah, wait for Anna and yeah, I think we can start like in a couple of minutes. Great. Let's do that.
(coughing)
(birds chirping)
[Clears throat]
Hello Sarkanan Army
Hello Sarukanya Army. Yes, hello.
kind of action equation.
Yeah, absolutely. Let's get started, guys.
So wait a second. I think Anna. Okay. Yeah, I mean, we can we can start it. We want guys. Yeah, maybe we start with some quick intro so everybody knows kind of who's on the call from the Zebix side.
Yeah, of course
Yeah, I'll go ahead. So yeah, I mean, thanks everybody for being here. Yeah, I'm going to host the space. We're going to try to do it in 45 minutes more or less. And yes, we have three
members of the ZEVAC team and yeah we're going to use this space to basically explain and present one of the latest initiatives that we've been pushing at ZEVAC and yeah we're very proud of it.
So my name is Lorenzo, I'm Senior BD at Zebeck and we have Simon, Anna, and Aruda and Anna from the Zebeck team. So yeah, if you want I'll let you guys introduce yourself.
Simon, do you want to start?
Okay, so Simon is having a bit of connection issues.
And yeah, so let's wait a second.
Okay, we're gonna wait a second for the team members. They're having a bit of connection trouble.
Hey guys, we're waiting for Simon to come back and we can get this going.
- Hey Simon, can you hear us?
(sniffing)
[clattering]
Okay, um, seven can can anyone hear me?
Okay guys, so I send the cohost to Simon again. So we're gonna wait a second. He should be able to talk.
Okay, so we're having a bit of trouble with this, a bit of patients people. I think we're going to sort it out.
All right, so if so many should be able to talk.
[Clapping]
The silent...
[Coughing]
[CLEARS THROAT]
Okay guys, so it seems we're having some problems with the roles
All right, so I said we have it working. Oh, I know. 10 times the choke. So let's get into this in the interest of time.
Okay, so yeah, let's get started. So Simon, you want to introduce yourself and yeah, I mean we'll we'll take it from there. I guess like Anna and Anna Ruda. Yeah, it's going to be a bit complicated to get them to speak. Absolutely. So I'm Simon Baba-Kani. I'm one of the founding members
of Zebic and our current head of growth. I oversee all things related to our card program, which we proudly just launched in the UK and Europe. So we want to use today's session to answer questions from the audience about the card and explain kind of what makes the Zebic card different to our competitors in the crypto card space.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. So before we get into the details for, I guess people in the audience that haven't been following Zebeck from the start, and obviously we're going to present the Zebeck card, we're going to get into it. Let's just spend like a few minutes to revisit the big
picture, why we launched this product, and how does it fit like in the overall plan, and what's the big picture for Zebeck in general. So yeah, I mean very simple, what is Zebeck, what does Zebeck do, and what are we building?
Thanks Lorenzo. So we launched Zebic about a year and a half ago to solve the issue of payroll. So payroll has typically been processed on a monthly or biweekly basis. And Zebic protocol has developed a technology that allows people to be paid in real time. So we launched that
product a year and a half ago, but our vision was always to connect it to real-world connectivity. And that's where the Zebic card comes in. The Zebic card is the very first pay card where users can receive their paycheck in real-time in crypto and then seamlessly convert it to Fiat to make purchases or withdraw cash from banking partners.
Okay, super cool. So yeah, it's getting to into the Zebic card and I mean I guess one of the one of the questions is obviously around like the different traders. I mean there have been like other
other debit or crypto cards obviously in the market. Some very big exchanges from smaller players. So yeah, I'm in cruise to know the details a bit around that. Yeah, so that's a great question. There's definitely
A few key aspects of the car that make it very compelling and unique in the critical car space. So the first is this is the world's first Salona based debit card. So this is built on the Salona network, which means high transaction speeds, low transaction costs. So it works very well for small
small transactions that you typically run on a debit card is the fees are incredibly low. It allows spend in Fiat and it's live in 27 countries, which means the UK plus almost all of the European Union. And we are in the process of launching a card in Asia and the US
in the coming months. So please keep an eye out for that. As I mentioned, the introduction, this is also the very first payment card that's directly linked to real-time payroll. And it's all processed through a mastercard network. Well, from a user standpoint, what really stands out is our fees.
So most crypto cars are charging fees and 1 to 3% which is typical. Across all of our countries that we serve, whether it's in the same currency or a foreign exchange, 1% or below is our standard for transaction fees which make us the lowest in the market.
So it's crypto-offer-app fees that includes foreign exchange fees. So if you add it all up, you're looking at 1% or less. And then on the other side, we offer rewards of up to 7% cash back, which make this a really, really compelling card for users that hold and stake-sevic.
Cool, very cool. I mean, yeah, let's get into the rewards. He's actually one of the questions that we get a lot, especially for comments.
and how it involves the native token or not. So yeah, can you tell us a bit more about the reward structure and maybe like an example, like concretely, how would this work?
Absolutely. So as I mentioned, we offer cashback rewards up to 7% on a user's spent. Right. So in terms of cashback, that's a very, very high level of cashback.
The way we calculate the cashback rate is based on the user's wallet. So the amount of ZBC, which is our native utility token, that a user holds in their wallet. There's different tiers of this. So what's work on an example? So assuming you hold
70,000 ZBC in your wallet over the course of a month. So that would be the monthly average. That would put you in the reward tier two. So that's our second lowest reward tier and you're going to get 1% cash back on your spent.
So if you spend $1,000 in a month, you get 1% of that back. So $10 worth of ZVC would be deposited into your wallet at the end of the month automatically. Of course, it scales up from there so you can check our website to see all the different rewards here as they get you up to the 7%.
Okay, super clear and yeah, very cool. I guess for I mean very practically if someone you know after the
the space wants to get the card. Where do you get it? How do you sign up? What is the KYC process? Can you tell us a bit more about that?
Yeah, Ana Ruda, would you like to cover that given that you are managing that part of the card program?
So I try to give cohost invite to Anoruda but I'm not sure if it's working to be honest.
The war is so salmon can you hear me? Oh, okay. Yeah, we can give you an Aruda. Oh, finally. Okay. Yeah, sure. Simon, I'll take this one. So, you know, the whole idea was to keep the sign up process simple.
And you know, as an user, you can sign up into the website by just, you know, launching the application, the Zebic application from the Zebic card page. And it's very easy. The registration process is very simple. You know, it's just going to
prompt you to verify a few things like your email and you'll be taken to the card app right where once you're in the card app you need to basically do two things one connect your Solana based wallet like a phantom wallet
And the other thing is, you know, once you are connected, you just need to, you know, move your phone from the phantom wallet or the Zeybeq wallet. Next is the KYC process, the KYC verification, and again, this is
very simple it's you know we just need to verify that you are who you are right which means it just needs a proof of address it can be like your passport your your driving license whatever right and an ID card there is no credit check on
there is nothing else involved in the KYC process so it's pretty simple and once your KYC is approved and you're being go right I mean you can you know instantly show your virtual card and and start using it for all the your word purchases. The card that we have it's a it's a master
card. So from an acceptance perspective, this card is accepted anywhere and everywhere where master card is accepted, right, which gives us like a wider range in terms of types of merchant geographies and everything. So your card travels with you and your
your coins, your money travels with you. Regarding funding the card, I already mentioned like it's funded to the ZEBEC wallet and if you don't have a ZEBEC wallet setup that's also pretty easy. You can log into the ZEBEC app and
from the card app or you can go directly to the ZBAC app as well, app.zbac.io and all you need to do is just you collect your Solana based wallet and then you can add funds to the ZBAC wallet from the Solana based wallet. Right now the crypt
currencies that we support, the ones that you can load your card with are Solanas, DBC and USDC. But as Simon was mentioning, our plan is to expand the choices of cryptocurrencies to many more in the coming days.
Awesome. Yeah, I think it's it's interesting. I want to double click on that. So just to be clear for the audience and everyone, this is not a ZBC token, all the crypto card. You can obviously use it with with stay.
So yeah, I just want you can. Yes, yes, you know, you don't need to you know, hold ZBC of course, we want you to hold your ZBC because of the fantastic rewards.
that Simon talked about but even if you don't have it on day one, I'm sure many of us have we use ewezdc which is the most widely used table coin and you can use that to load your card and then eventually take it with you wherever you go.
Okay, perfect. I just want to come back on the KYC. So obviously you talked about that. You have to perform KYC. What does the KYC mean exactly? What does the user have to perform?
Yeah, sure. As I said, like, you know, the idea of KYC is to validate that, you know, you are a real real user who is, you know, who wants to take advantage of the Zebic car and it's not, you know, working with a bot or someone else.
Just making sure that with very minimum documents, that documentation that might be needed, which is a proof of ID and address, and that's it. There is nothing else, no other requirements, pre or post that process.
The good thing is your QIC is completed or is done in just a few minutes, right? A few seconds. It's very, very simple. You get in. We have a two-factor authentication that prompts you with an OTP. You enter the door.
VPN it's done right so it's very very simple there's you know all we want you to you know keep in mind is there is no other thing involved it's just making sure that you are a valid user who has a proof of ID
Perfect. Yeah, makes sense. So I think we can start with the with the audience questions. We've collected
So, I've selected a few of them. So, on Twitter and on the community group. So, okay. So, two seconds.
Okay, Simon should be able to speak again. So yeah, a few of the questions that were asked a lot the past couple of weeks. So one
The first one is when will the Zebic card be launching in the US, LADAM and APEC? So basically the rest of the world. Simon, if you want to take that? Absolutely.
APEC is going to be our very first, the very next region to launch. We're actually currently working with a bank in Hong Kong to issue the Zedic card to over 10 nations in Asia. Second to that will be the
the US. So the US you can expect around Q3. So in the second half of this year and then after that we'll be launching a card in the Brazilian market and then the rest of Latin by the end of the year.
Okay, cool, cool, cool. Yeah, I mean, I guess a question a bit more spicy on the competition. How does it stack up? I mean, compared to the competition, the rest of the other crypto cards.
And a great question. I mean, I think this is the number one factor that makes the Zebacard unique and kind of from the beginning of the founding of our company, the whole point of Zebac was to bring equality to working people and to give them access to their wages at
So we kept that in mind when we launched the Zevikard. So the Zevikard has no sign-up fees. It has no annual fees and the transaction fees are the lowest in the market and they average around 1%. Of course all the
awards, you can earn on top of this card, make that 100% really negligible. But I encourage listeners to read our medium article with a point-by-point comparison with competitor cards. So you can see exactly how our fee stack up.
Okay, perfect. Yeah, so this one was a good, very good question. When will physical cards be available and how do you, how do you order
So the link to order cards are going to be available on the Zedic card page within the next one to two months. So we're targeting having sign up for these cards by the end of May, which means that users would receive
their physical master cards by June at the latest. The same time we're also working on incorporating mobile wallets with this card. So when I say mobile wallets, I mean Apple Pay, Google Pay, that is also in the roadmap for the next quarter.
Okay, so let me see. Okay, one of the questions also that we've been getting a lot is about cash. Can you withdraw cash with?
with the Zebit card. So yeah. Yes, it's as simple as finding an ATM or a bank and using your physical card to withdraw cash. It's really not any more complicated than that.
Okay, perfect. So yeah, on the wallet side, can you connect like multiple wallets to the Zebic card? So maybe this question on the RUDA, I'll kick it to you.
Yeah, you can connect here, you know, whatever Solana based role that you have to your card. Yes, I mean, you have to link it with the Zavek wallet, as I said, and then it's all yours.
Okay, perfect. So another question that we've been getting a lot and yeah, we're not advisors, but obviously people are asking, "What's spending crypto with the Zebra card might mean to my taxes?" So basically, regarding taxes in general.
Good question. It's a question we get a lot.
So the good news is that spending with the Zebacard is not a taxable event, given that there is a corresponding expense for pretty much every dollar you load on the card. So in that sense, there's no direct connection to the tax authority.
Okay, perfect. So, two more questions from the Twitter and community ones that we've collected and then all at the audience just all invite someone to ask like a live question.
So the first one, someone asked yesterday, can I wire Fiat to the card directly and start spending? So basically, yeah, using like a normal debit card.
Okay, yeah, the answer is no, I mean, you cannot wear fat here to the card. I mean, it's think of it as as your regular, you know, debit card, right? You're
You know, it's nothing different, but all you need is a Zebeke account and then for card for your account like simply just like you use your bank account to fund your debit card you are using the Zebeke wallet or the Zebeke account to fund your Zebeke card and that's it and then it's
It's as simple as it can be for your other regular debit cards. Okay, super clear. So last one and then we'll take questions from the floor, the audience. So regarding more
crypto questions. So are you planning, is there a planning to support other cryptos going forward? And yeah, and is there a staking mechanism that goes with the with the card? So two in one question.
So, on the, on the first one, what is the first question? So do we do? Yeah, the next question is for more crypto is going forward and which one? The answer is obviously yes.
earlier in the call, we want to expand to more cryptocurrencies and hopefully more chains as well. So, if state-owned, there are more exciting updates
coming your way like rest of the summer and months to come. And as far as the Staking Mechanism, no, there is no Staking Mechanism right with the card for now. Okay, perfect.
Okay, so we can take a couple of questions from the audience. So yeah, anyone that wants to ask something, just raise your hand and I'll give you the speaker role and you'll be able to ask a question.
Okay, so we have questions from young boy you have the speaker role so I think you should be able to
to talk. You're muted. Just unmute yourself and you should be able to add the question, young boy.
Hello sir, can you hear me? Can I ask my question?
Yeah, of course, of course. Okay. Okay. So my question is, what's your main focus right now? Are you focused on the community or market? Actions the products. This is my question. Thank you.
That's a great question. I think the answer I would give you to that is we're focused on all three. You can't have a great company without all three market, a fit with your product and as well as a vibrant community. The products that we launched at Zebik, we really put a lot of thought into
What how do they fit with our market and how do they fit with the needs of our community? Awesome. So we'll take another one. Let me see.
So stem, Quran, I just gave you the speaker role, should be able to talk, Sam. But I don't know if it's working.
Yeah, I'm not sure it's working.
Yeah, maybe we can wrap it up. What do you think guys? Well, that's all we have for questions. I encourage everyone to check the links that we're going to post at the end of this AMA and one of those links will be our
our media article which gets into the technical details about the card as well as the card sign up page. So anyone here who is based in Europe can go out and apply for our card and we'll keep you posted on when we launch in Asia and other markets. And don't forget the audience
we have still the promotion going on now until May the first. So if you fund the card with $100 worth of crypto, you receive tenured DC for free. And it's still going on until the first of May. So
I spent seven days more days to go. So yeah, please, I mean enjoy the free 10 USDC. And yeah, as Simon said, we'll post all the relevant links in the space comments and
Yeah, anything else to add? And Aruda Simon? That's all from me. Thanks everyone. Yeah, awesome. Thanks all for joining. We'll have more of these AMAs in the future. Looking forward to talk to you guys. Yeah, thanks.
Everyone for coming, obviously we're super happy of the product launch and yeah sure we'll do another another AMA with news and new features in the very near future. Bye bye everyone, have a good day wherever you are. Ciao, ciao.
