Extends the auction by four minutes and some or four forty five or something like that
It resets the timer to four minutes

So currently we have three minutes and fifty seconds
But if it gets down a little lower and we get another bid then it'll reset it again
So that's one of the interesting things about this show is first of all, we do it every day
But we do it at the end of the nouns auction which moves every day
So i'm sure our friends here from jkb would would uh, you know, understand how difficult it would be if their show moved by
15 to 20 minutes every single day
We started doing this at 6 p.m
Last year we've gone all the way around the entire clock twice and we're back now to almost 6 p.m
EST again, so that's one little challenge
And then the other thing is that we don't actually know when the auction's gonna end because sometimes it gets extended like this
And you know, if you have great guests like jkb, you could just ship post with them for, you know
15 to 20 minutes, no problem
But sometimes with other guests who are not so forthcoming it can sometimes be difficult when you're five minutes

If a noun got enough votes the auction would be automatically settled and that would be the next noun that we would get
Unfortunately some poor somebody with no friends had been botting fomo
And instantly settling the first noun regardless of what it was for a couple months. So
We turned off fomo's ability to settle
And now we play what we call janky fomo
Which is basically the same thing we watch the nouns going by and when we see one we really like
Instead of hitting the thumbs up button. You just yell at toady behind the clock on the noun square account and he uh settles the auction

When you see a noun you like yell about it and we'll try to settle it
Uh and get that noun and that will be the next noun that goes up for auction for the next 24 hours

So I was very excited. It was like the first nft project that really spoke to me
Um, and so like I ate I like that was and it was my first big nft purchase
So like I ate my savings account into my doodle

And then people kept on being like oh whose doodle is going to collab with like what's it going to be?
What brand and they were listing all these like high fashion hype brands?
And then I thought i'd make a joke about like collabing with home depot and then the joke like flopped
And then I decided to lean into the joke because I was like now fuck y'all
This is a sick sick idea and I drew a home depot apron on my doodle
And then I was like y'all sleeping on this collab idea and then that kind of took off because people were like wait
I want a home depot apron on my doodle
So then I started drawing them for everyone
One thing I found a lot is that if your joke doesn't work just lean in I totally agree

In this virtual camp and then all the funds went to like a bunch of different arts organizations that we set up to receive crypto funds

It's just like having fun making weird little jokes and then uh making people laugh

And honestly, like I didn't even realize that it was like the open sea boat
Like the first time that I looked at it and then looking at pictures after I was like wow
Like the attention to detail is just like unparalleled and I I thought that like

Um mostly as a way for honestly the three of us to like talk and shoot the shit
But other people joined in and it was like, you know an open space for anyone to come hang
And I think like we just kind of found ourselves really enjoying each other's company and also finding that other people seem to enjoy it, too
And so we just like kept doing it and trying to make more content and seeing where it went from there
And so now at this point like we're basically still doing the same thing
Like we're just trying to have fun with one another make content and hopefully people enjoy it
Um, and so like most recently we went to something in the water because doodles was having kind of like a active like a little activation
And so we were there kind of acting as like brand ambassadors and also to make make content and also to just like dick around
Um at which we did all three flying colors
uh, and so yeah, it's just been like basically jkb is
We just like hang out have fun gaslight people bully men
Um and try to onboard men more men into web 3 because we're just severely lacking in it
