the weekend so um emilien why don't you start off by just giving a high level intro um as always i'd
like to just give an intro to your own you could guess you know personal background as well as
um what gold fever is all about
hey so yeah uh thanks for having me again thanks for allowing us to update the
uh the community of uh who coin and about uh the project well we have a special relationship
with you guys uh i'm very happy about it and uh i'm glad to know that you are uh at each step that
uh in our evolution close to us and allow us to introduce uh our project uh again and again to
your community uh so basically uh gold fever is an mmo it's a mmo blockchain game that has a fully
uh developed uh blockchain economy behind it we work on this project uh since 2020
uh and uh a lot of problems uh have this project had but at this point we are very close to the mainnet and
uh for us it's uh it's an enormous uh accomplishment uh we are um delighted to say that um the game it's uh
uh really appreciated by our internal community and we think that uh the more people will know about it
once we get to mainnet the more people will uh actually enjoy the idea of blockchain gaming of
web3 gaming and uh due to the fact that our business model and the game model it's uh made to fit
entirely uh entirely uh the idea of decentralization uh the idea of ownership that idea of security and
transparency i think people will appreciate the fact that a game took all this time um in order to
implement with uh their economy with the blockchain
awesome i think that's the great uh uh overview of of everything so i'd like to dive deeper into
the token itself uh to start off um looks like you guys were in the top 10 gainers on kucoin a few days
ago um and um last month you know outlook was quite attractive for you guys um can you explain what
happened or if anything has happened uh with uh gold fever since our last talk in april um or share
any announcements that you think would be helpful for the listeners
yeah so basically uh since our last discussions with
our last discussion we managed to do quite a few things uh one of them and probably the most
important of them is the fact that we fully released the tokens to initial token buyers
and at this point we basically have no more tokens to release another thing uh that actually happened
was to was the decision to burn
almost 60 percent of the tokens and why we did this we did this because
all these tokens uh that were to the team uh that were allocated to the team to the advisors
and uh to the mining mining mining fund were staying there and were not actually were scaring people
right people were thinking oh my god you guys are going to dump on the market and so on so we decided to
say this okay let's release the tokens so everyone uh knows that we uh we are a transparent uh project and then let's burn these tokens uh of ours so um i think that after a very small price
uh people took notice of this especially linked to the fact that uh we are about to go to mainnet
so uh yeah i think that the the token uh started organically to increase because people realized due to our announcements that the tokens utility in game is essential
it's essential in the last few uh in the last few uh weeks we also started a few events inside our project where people were able to acquire mining claims or governorships
by burning ngl and we already have for example burnt around 3 million tokens or 2 million tokens and we are planning to burn
more than 3 million by discussing by let's say selling these mining claims and these governorships to people willing to burn their tokens
burn their tokens at this point for example we have uh two uh burnt uh
burnt governorships for each governorship the the users uh the the guys that got them burned 500 000 ngl for each of them
we also have uh another guy that is waiting for something and but he will also burn and we all we are also in discussions
with very uh with very uh very good uh partners that uh we will burn and get these governorships at some point we will also auction some uh one governorship
and it will allow people to get in there and uh buy and uh the starting price for the auction will uh be a bit lower so um
we will also sell these mining claims where people uh burn ngl and they receive double ngl inside the mining claims and
they will require our uh players to go and extract the ngl this process of burning is actually very helpful for the economy
uh it gives a lot uh it gives a lot of meaning to the uh token uh it gives it a lot of utility and by removing uh from the
from the supply i think it's normally that organically the more we are closing to a version of game that it's going to
make that i think it's normally for it to appreciate i can't say uh where it will go how it will go i can't speculate
on that but uh at some point people coming in into the game and playing it to extract the gold i think they
will have a lot of satisfaction when they will be able to uh extract the gold so yeah i think this is
the the reason the token uh appreciating it uh lately
that's the reason why i think it's going to be able to do that um you know i'd like to uh hear your
thoughts about um how you see gold uh fever in this macro landscape obviously it's been quite
choppy um some people think we're about to go back into a bull run some people are more skeptical
about that how do you see gold fever sort of fitting in in this you know in terms of the
macro narrative as well as um or or do you think that's you know does that affect you guys at all
well of course it's a it's a what we i mean we've seen that uh with three gaming it's a narrative that
it's taking over because um nfts collections as the art uh have died a lot in the latest time especially
the fact that they can't give any sort of utility to the nfts uh and i think that uh web3 gaming is
catching up because the projects starting to reach uh maybe not maintenance but uh not much maturity but
they are starting to catch up with the uh the long time with the long programming times and people
finally start to see um some result some results right from the developers uh even with us we maintained
an open kitchen behavior when it came to our project and community was able to
keep in touch with us play the game constantly even now you can play the game on testnet
and uh in this way people saw and knew what to expect and uh now at the mainnet things are not
going to be like a surprise wow these guys actually did the the the fact that we are moving to mainnet it
means that the gameplay systems in our project have been tested with the community they are not of course
they are not bug free they are not going to be exploitable free but uh people know what we to expect
and the fact that we decided to open the the gates for uh people to come and bring ngl inside the game
bring their nfts and so on on mainnet uh this gives people a bit of uh security let's say in terms of hey
these guys they actually managed to to to bring the project to uh to fruition you know many i'm i'm i'm
sure that 2021 uh hype gaming hype uh scared a lot of people especially when they saw that
all these games that uh received funding took sold their tokens and so on didn't
manage to deliver anything uh we focused entirely on building this game because we do not have we do not
have the resources of illuvium or star atlas or other super uh funded games and uh we had we had a minimal
budget and uh with uh 50 people we had what we had to do was to uh actually um
um take very good care about our budgets not waste money on uh on events on on hyping give on
hyping uh the game before having it ready so um yeah i think uh i i think that the coming period
is a bull market even if it's not the greatest bull market of all because you know a bull market can't
start without any good project i mean you need a you need a leadership a leader you need a train
out there that can push all the market in that direction and right now there is absolutely no game
out there that uh you can say for sure that could become the leader uh many of the important games
that uh probably uh people observed the tweets and so on are not ready uh either they are not ready
either they are not very innovative uh and they are trying to solve problems like uh set ownership and
uh problems that made net uh mainstream gamers don't care about right i mean like for example if you go
and make a game that is similar to um to i don't know let's say fortnite but you just put some uh uh
nfts the nft skins out there i don't know how these kind of games can become leadership of the web through
gaming and conquer the world you know because you need the mainstream to bring you money right i mean
you need mainstream to come here to come in this web three games and spend their money on something but
right now everyone hates nfts everyone from outside everyone hates these models our model has been
actually vouched tested by a web mainstream uh mainstream tester mainstream influencer with almost 1 million
twitch followers and many others on other uh he came to us he said guys you actually look very good
you actually have a story to tell here you actually have a good gameplay so i'm willing i want to be your
partner i want to bring your game in front of my followers because my followers are interested
in making money from all sort of uh gaming it doesn't matter how my guys are competitive my guys know how to
play a game well so this thing for us make us realize it doesn't matter if it's a bull market or not
we of course we would enjoy an unwanted growth in the token because uh uh unwanted growth in the token came
in from a bull market came in from a sense of uh uh of flock of people getting back in but for us the bull market is what we will achieve by ourselves
organically with people playing with people playing with people enjoying the game so uh in this context
uh overall a bull market will benefit everyone right even even if you have a little uh a little uh
game out there or a little better you will have increase you will see increases but the true
the true the true growth of these projects will come from people playing these games not from
hype to marketing not from any uh fake bots or fake um uh numbers of daily average users and so on so
yeah this is my opinion on your question i hope i'm not boring anyone with how much i can talk about this
yeah no absolutely i definitely agree with a lot of the points you've said um and mentioned um but
just want to move this conversation forward just wary of time um um you know in in this landscape
perhaps you talked uh a little bit about you know the macro and how that affects um your game as well as
other you know other game five projects with within web3 um perhaps remind i think now's a good
opportunity to remind the listeners what makes gold fever so special um maybe describe in a little
bit more detail how people should play it or where or why people should buy the token what is what is
its utility um etc yeah so basically our uh due to the fact that our game is a fully decentralized economy
where people decide every aspect of the of the uh of the uh of this economy um the token
has a lot of power in there for example
let's say that people will want to get uh on magnet okay uh
uh we will have uh we will have at some point a genesis mask sale we will start it again but on this
point we will no longer try to sell the masks on uh fiat or on uh usdt or something like
we will simply allow anyone who burns 333 ngl tokens to obtain this uh box that contains mask parts
and with this mask parts people will be able for example to get clear clear advantages clear perks
inside game for example at this point uh in order to uh pan for gold with a normal gold pan it takes you
10 seconds to get into the river and find something right by wearing these masks based on the based on the
rarity of the parts of these masks your your goal penny time will decrease a lot uh even your friends
will be able to benefit from the fact that you have a great mask so angel token goes in the at this point
in obtaining some simple nfts some nfts that will give you first on the other hand you have a lot of rights
inside the game so for example uh you can obtain by burning ngl little amounts of ngl you can obtain discounts
uh but everything that costs uh money inside inside the inside bolshevik because
since we are not the ones who are controlling the prices of anything of any item of any
uh service or any rent or ticket people are able to uh uh to put whatever prices
um they want for the items that their buildings are selling or their uh when they want to rent for
example a horse right so let's say for example you are uh you have a horse a commercial nft a horse and
you put it up for rent for uh one dollar an hour one jewel for an hour by by burning the little amount of
uh ngl you can obtain up to 51 percent on these discounts uh uh on these discounts on these prices
so right now because because you you did this you can come into the game and rent this horse at a cheaper
price other people will have to rent it at the same at the undiscounted
price so ngl has a lot of uh a lot of utility inside again we will have
we will hope we will also have
some staking
me personally when it comes to staking i don't like the idea of staking because i see it as a very
a very uh a very a very unreasonable way to make people uh
to dump on people's heads when they are staking right so i do understand the concept of staking
uh and uh i see it very as a very good option when people are using it to secure like nodes
to do stuff like uh so proof of uh proof of for staking and stuff like that so we will come up with
the version of the version of staking it's going to be a bit of surprise uh for our community in which
they will have absolutely uh incredible apis for their for their staking amounts
uh but they will be connected with this economy of ours
and uh their decision their decisions their way of understanding the game's economy the way of
understanding the amount of people inside the game the the the the dynamics of the mining claims
will help them manage this api and make more or less based on their decision it's not going to be
like i don't know five percent three percent ten percent like you are getting when you're
staking i don't know ethereum or usdt is going to be in the hundreds but you will need to
think smart when it comes to this api so we will have this taking and yield but it's a novel thing i wanted to
surprise everyone with this and uh uh yeah this is just for example just another utility for this
project for the ngl token and uh there are many reasons these are just three of them i hope people
will come to the project and ask and and try to understand it because it offers enormous perspectives
uh when it comes to how the token can be used in a project thank you awesome and just a follow-up
question which is about the nft so last time you mentioned commercial nfts um thought that was super
interesting can you explain how that has evolved as well as how that connects to the uh ngl token
yeah so one of the evolutions that uh that become part of these commercial nfts was the mining uh was
the the new approach on the mining claims right uh mining claims are also commercial nfts we also have
uh commercial nfts like the horses or like the buildings or items like weapons why we are calling
don't calling them commercial nfts because um they give you you can use them inside the game you can
do whatever you want with them inside again but for example when you go sleep you can put them in
custody and and other people can rent them from from you and you can make money passively from these
commercial nfts and uh you can do many other things you can use them as collateral and the obtain
angel in exchange you can use them uh for example you can put them people can um
these nfts can pro can provide people with uh items and services for example you can buy um
a survival building uh or let's say a blacksmith or an airfield and these buildings or of yours
will be selling items necessary for people to necessary for people to uh
to play the game for example you might need a saddle for your horse in order to ride it so if you have a
stable you could be uh you could buy the the the saddle for that from there but you might want to
also train which is a service to train your horse to be more obedient or to let's say uh to follow you
closer and not get stuck so uh these commercial nfts of ours uh have been always like this but for
example the mining claims evolved and became one of the most important sinks token sinks of our game
uh by changing uh by changing the way we are giving them to the people that are interested to become
uh mining claim owners and uh obtaining these mining claims through uh by burning angel you also help the project
help the token and uh you receive a double amount of tokens and in this time due to the fact that people
are forced to burn to in order to obtain these mining claims the value of your mining claim will
automatically increase so uh we are constantly changing the way things work with these commercial nfts
even the staking that i was talking about earlier will have a bit of uh
will be connected with these commercial nfts so we are very flexible we are very um we allow ourselves to evolve
evolve with uh with the project and with with that
awesome and i'd like to uh uh shift the focus to the uh mainland main net launch which is on um
december 7 i believe so can you share a little bit more about this what people listening should
uh pay attention to uh pay attention to as well as um whether you guys are planning any uh partnerships
or events uh in the near future for this uh main net launch for magnet for magnet uh we are going to
uh to make to first make sure that the our servers can handle a limited number of people of course there
will be a bit of connection between uh who can access the the the mainnet server who can play uh and we will
increase the servers uh based on the the feedback based on the amount of people but when it comes to
partnerships i think uh one of the most important partnerships not just for us but for the entire
web 3 gaming space the web 3 gaming space space that is building games that are very complex that are
very uh that very resource intensive when it comes to computers uh i think this partnership of ours that we are
going to announce monday is going to actually uh begin a game changer as they say because uh any player
with this partnership any player doesn't matter the type of computer is having we'll be able to play our
game so up to this point only people with computers that were valued at two thousand three thousand dollars
we're playing the game at maximum potential why because you had the the need for a very good gpu uh you had
the need for a a decent computer and uh of course other people who were able to to to play it with lesser
computers but you still need a dedicated gpu you couldn't play for example with a chrome you couldn't play from
a mac unless you were uh you were doing some uh uh some parallelizations with the windows and so on
and at this point this partnership that is absolutely incredible for the entire industry as i was saying
we are going to be the first web 3 game that is going to uh to do it and uh i already tested i tested
even in the morning the fact that uh our our partners are uh constantly helping us to improve the
conditions people from all over the world and i'm not exaggerating anyone with any sort of computer will
be able to play our game without downloading anything without without having a powerful computer they
will be able to come and play our game and my vision of transforming web 3 gaming especially our game our simulation
transforming it in a in a in a in the in the job place of tomorrow it's coming together so uh stay close to us
us come and ask discord try to learn the project because the game is very hard the game it's not
it's it's not a click clicker game like you are used to when it comes to for example for mobile here you we
need smart people to play the game i mean if you do know yourself that you are a smart guy you are a guy that
uh uh uh is interested not just to click things in order to uh uh to to enjoy something but uh you need
to strategize a bit you need to be uh social um uh socially smart because you need to to make friends you
need to collaborate with others or you have skills when it comes to how you play uh games like shooters
and so on because in our game you have to do that in order to defend yourself then this is the game for
you no other game out there compares to us and i'm not talking about web reveal i'm talking about
mainstream gaming because our game is unique from this point of view there's nothing out there there
is nothing out there that compares to us and i can and i can guarantee anyone that will be touching the
the game that this is not an overstatement this is the truth so stay close to us 7th december it's going
to be important but things don't stop in there this is very important to mention it's not by the
by the rumors sell the news it's not our game it's going to constantly appreciate in value due to the fact
that many pay many people will play and it's not my personal opinion it's the opinion of our current
players who simply enjoy the game i have a very close uh uh community uh player very close to us it's a
i have a very good relationship with him i played we talk all the time in private because he's
he's he invested in commercial nfts he uh and he plays the game a lot and he told me something that
actually made me understand that how to position this game he said to me the following thing mate this game
is incredible the adrenaline the excitement on of being chased with a lot of gold on you is something that beats
every other games out there you know the idea of having to to defend yourself having to run having to uh to
think how to think how to do it this is the fund that we are going to offer so yeah our uh uh uh please
stay to stay close to our game we are something that you will like awesome i i just have one more question
um a million before we do you mind if we have some audience audience members come up as well uh after this
um yeah sure yeah so my last question is just you know what do you attribute to uh gold fever success
and what do you think um will be you know web3 users behavior towards it and i asked this question
as well just uh because i think some of our listeners might be builders so maybe some you can also impart
some advice about um building you know a game five project especially over the the bear market so uh
i i i i think that i generally speaking uh building a game like uh at least like how we we did it it's
it's it's it's it's very hard um i mean starting to build directly an mmo comes with some problems that
general developers uh are never in touch with uh during their life lifetime expectancy during the lifetime
uh as developers because if making a single player game it's uh like x of difficulty making an mmo
is like 5x in terms of difficulty it's very hard to it's very hard to understand unless you are a
developer developer why making all these problems replicating all this networking for all the other
players inside the game to to to see it i strongly suggest if anyone is a builder out there i strongly suggest
to to to start small uh and try to come up with uh with gaming models that do not require a lot of people
our people for example not many of them had not mmos experience but they didn't uh uh even have uh networking
experience of course we had the leaders that uh teach the others and in this way we managed to create our key to
to create our team and uh with a lot of dedication for uh from all of them we managed to reach this uh to reach this
um uh step in our evolution but it's quite complex and uh if you allow can you please repeat the first
part of the question i simply forgot it sorry uh it's basically the same question right so just what do you
attribute to your success oh man it's a lot of dedication and it's a lot of uh i mean
uh we are not the the the greatest developers in the world we are not uh we didn't have a lot of
uh experience i i personally as a founder as ceo it's my first game but i'm gonna tell you something
it's is the fact that i managed to do it uh with this team gives them a lot of credit
uh and uh maybe i can get some credit too if you look around because you see other people with millions
of dollars tens of millions of dollars and they can't uh deliver anything so uh our dedication beat
beat everything our desire to actually because if you look at our mission statement you realize that our game is not just a game
we are here to actually bring some changes into the world the ai is taking over
many many people are are becoming uh without jobs uh you even have pandemics from time to time
and we can transform the web3 gaming the blockchain gaming in a place where people don't come just for
for for for uh for uh for uh fun they can come uh and actually make money like in a job our
and i want to add something else that i think it's important uh and i didn't talk about it many people
these days during this uh so-called uh little bull market marketing were pushing out about all this uh
infrastructure chains like avax like uh many others uh our game is also an infrastructure but it's a
different one it's a it brings a totally different idea uh on the market and i hope people will
will stay close and try to understand what i'm talking here the fact that you have a fully decentralized
economy allows anyone to behave allows our project to behave like any other chain out there you have for
example ethereum right where people have a uh have these depths uh where the tokens are used and so on
even our game is functioning like that in our project the depths are the commercial nfts so if you come close
and try to understand why i'm pushing this idea of economic infrastructure blockchain economic
infrastructure you will realize that we are actually the next generation of infrastructures that people
should be pushing we are quite small the project is still not on the need still not demonstrated but in the
coming year in 2024 we will push with a lot of moves the education part where people need to understand
why economic decentralized economic infrastructures in games are the next big thing because it allows the
little player and the little player the vc the investor it allows all of them to be in the same ecosystem and thrive based on their skills of course
so yeah thank you for allowing me to push with this so a few a few cash questions from the from the
um audience yeah um okay unfortunately we actually only have time for one question from the audience
before i gotta wrap this up but um we have zeus up here zeus uh go ahead and please go ahead and ask a question
oh yeah uh thanks so much for the opportunity uh so my question for god favor um i just want to know in terms of
that sustainability because i've seen a lot of gaming projects come along days and you know uh you know
like sustainable in the long term so can you just like tell us what lines you have in terms of sustainability
and also in terms of generating revenue i'm sorry can you speak a bit more rare i i didn't understand the
question or if uh yeah i'll let me repeat so so um he's asking about the sustainability of the project
because uh a lot of game five projects have come and gone so uh more about the sustainability and
the revenue side of things so basically uh when it comes to revenue and the stability financial stability
of the project at this point we managed to uh to to optimize the team in such a way that
it could uh stay up and running for at least six to eight months and uh the fact that
we verified our let's say business model a few months ago with just a few people by selling some
commercial nfts we sold to four people around 50 000 u.s worth of commercial nfts uh give gives us
the strength to believe that um we are on this good we are on a good path okay we are solid because
people actually uh actually find value in our project and uh just so uh i can uh finish about this and wrap up
we we we stopped selling them because we wanted to make sure these commercial nfts
were not producing bugs that's why we call we sold them to close people that actually helped us so
helped us solve the bugs uh are patient enough to understand that they are having issues and so on and for
that i am again really appreciating them so uh yeah i think we are on a good path and uh uh we will also
be expanding our uh our reach uh very soon uh we are also going to be uh uh we are moving uh very
very powerful in the apoc area uh and uh so i think it's going to be okay yeah great uh amelian i
think that's a an awesome way to wrap up the spaces um just uh a final word for you um yeah i really
