Thank you. Hello, hello, and welcome to Let's Grow Live.
This is a live broadcast.
Sorry, you can't hear me super well over here.
All right, this is a live broadcast where we are growing over all the greatest innovations
in the public goods space
okay so you're going to hear from some of the innovators the grantees of gitcoin and some
amazing performances so stay tuned get locked in and join us on x if you can let's grow
okay one second some kind of white paper especially me, it was work of seven years from the idea stage until now that we are putting all intention.
And the public goods, there is also our one of, you know, pillar of manifesto.
We would love to educate even humans to ostend from other nature.
And we envision with a solution.
Yeah, because we are thinking so much what kind of application for humans we can do it.
Because if we're starting talking about LGBTQ+, there's only sexual or, you know, some identity.
And we with Choice ID at the moment, there is a new kind of solution for the people get a scrolling by AI, get a score and matching with their jobs.
Because in our time, there's definitely more jobs coming digitally and providing these jobs for people. people what this can be a better because I see here there is also was intention by reflecting
on whole situation during 2024 and three and maybe two, their unsustainable ecosystem
because a lot of people working hard and getting small or low paid, there's a not good. We tried to make a change. We will be less proactive, but we will be more into building things.
In the last moment was applied the grant on the Gitcoin for infrastructure, but I think we are too early.
But we see application and I will be achieving enduring these days that if you would like to support our vision, could you please?
More news. We are more tried to be on the web two sides.
We are got by a person in the DAO
representation as a UK entity. We're trying to also would like to share the knowledge that two
also would like to share the knowledge. Web2 are fundraising platforms, they're not working.
But we're applying some out of Web2, like out of Web3, some grants, because the main purpose for
choice at the moment is form treasury and after start any activities and rewarding tokens.
But we're not in rush, we're and we actually yeah for we are starting uh
with a bmd program with a young incubator from uk as well let's see there is a journey but thank you
for very hard support of uh you know gitcoin and let's grow because it's the you know
feelings when you're in the super down you you're working hard, you're feeling that you're paying back much.
Or sometimes community can be like burnout and proactive and make you work more hard.
But it was surviving time for us, but I feel the spring some kind of coming into CHOICE.
And I will be trying to are showing more about the CHOICE ID to you and showing definitely
the community that we have.
Today, I try to really be a present myself, but from tomorrow, the day after tomorrow,
I have a couple of guests that there will be,
you know, catch up. Some of them was present in the previously. Let's Grow Live. Some of them will be present the first time. I would love to show more use cases how we can merge together AI, AI blockchain and XR there is actually an intention of choice ID and
yeah like at I really open to in the conversation thank you Jimmy you have
any questions I'm here for this great to have you here choice sorry about a mic
issue okay yeah great to have you here thank you for shining light so so my
understanding is you're currently on Giveit, is that right?
Yeah, very strange because the Gitcoin, like, what do you mean? Like the program?
Giveit. You're on Giveit.
No, it's very interesting because I'm applying your application by choice and the Gitcoin in the projects projects actually you can find choice id and you
can donate but i think there's a coin yes it's become started this work is a given because we
may be not accepted into uh the program but oh i see out of the program can donate as a choice
oh that's cool so you're still there even though it's not on uh matching around yeah yeah like there is solution
you're saying giveth or bitcoin bitcoin if you're going can be good bitcoin in the projects
in the area grow awesome we will do like some post but it's very interesting but yeah please do post
everyone feel free to plant your grants in the garden and
Anything that grows up there will grow let's engage with the post up there, you know
It costs nothing to leave a comment to type a little let's grow so let's all support one another
Amplify and ultimately grow the movement, baby
That's what it's all about. I also want to recognize we got really by pong on joining us up here on the stage
How you doing my pong on a me grows?
Hello to all friends and make some
I have good news. We got accepted on flow, WTF, and I applied for the Clean
Fun Gun community to receive the salary every month for their cleanups. It's a really good
example of how the funding can support local communities.
and support local communities
i love that for those of you who don't know what she's talking about flows dot wtf that's f-l-o-w-s
dot wtf that is a website which will pay you every second to make an impact i mean what a time to be
alive right you can get paid every second to make an impact whether if that's
planting some trees in your local garden and beautifying your park in your area or picking
up plastics like the amazing pangan regions um we we love we love flows uh tree gens is also a
recipient of flows we've done 50 000 mangrovesves with them and Let's freaking grow. I mean, it's it's it's so
With the flow grow with the flow for sure we grow and with the flow. Yeah, we grow and baby my first ever like
income for the impact work that I do and it
might not be a whole lot but it sure is felt very strongly in my heart and I
super appreciate them and they have a lot of great great people that they're
helping fun to do things all over the world so yeah shout out flows.wtf
what the flow we can play with it so much i know like i see a song of adam in the room i'm not
planning him but actually yesterday we'll at evening he is a naked you know with us lady
rocket and the song of adam he is a part of this movement and he is engaging the
artist community and his song is uh a midi punks in the moon and i see he is getting some requests
by us but maybe aiden you would like to are joined and talk a bit about your art the moon
like to join and talk a bit about your art the moon if not like it no pressure we can joking
around but yeah maybe midi punks are super dope super super dope i gotta actually get i gotta
get on it i'm supposed to uh throw down a little line on on uh on that competition thing too
on that competition thing too this is fantastic i know guys so long they make it already like the
whole album but uh he's explained much better than me hello darling how are you how's sweden
hello hello it's actually uh t-shirt weather today really really nice i'm planning to go out for a jog.
Sorry for you guys who like Fahrenheit.
I don't know what that is in Fahrenheit, but I feel like your t-shirt weather might be my sweatshirt weather.
By the way, did you get the email?
I think I did, yes, yes, I did, I did. I've just been a little bit slammed still.
I'll get to it tomorrow for sure, for sure.
Yeah, no stress stress because the sow actually
passed us here so i'm uh i'm both pissed worried and uh throwing my head to the wall
tell us more give inside we need to understand what is growing on because not everyone know
there is a long journey we was engaged with the lady rocket
she was present yesterday in the space we are running 24 7 for 15 days she was a present and
she's a highlight a bit and the wheel is drive her with a plane copernicus and maybe you were
tell a bit how how you are on the moon like how possible yeah yeah we're actually not on the lady rocket uh payload it's the same
rocket of course but we're with the moon mars team which was uh 47 uh pieces of art and music
that was dropped on the moon surface march 2nd and luckily midi punks was one of them crypto punks
i guess most people know them or one of the 47s i bet
and a few others so yeah that was fun successful landing and uh yeah now it's sitting at with
something called a nano fish with this miniature kind of museum they call it but it's uh actually
only one company in the world who create those, and it's supposed to be resistance to the weather conditions
and for thousands of years on the moon surface.
So it's, yeah, that was kind of crazy,
but happy we landed and happy that we could bring our song to the moon surface.
But what we're talking about is a new kind of competition song.
We're trying to see who can add most voices.
And I thought it would be an easy victory for the midi punks.
But we're competing against the Zao.
And those guys are just nuts.
They're a super supportive community.
So they are actually in the lead at the moment.
The Zao pulls ahead that's that that is uh you know it is
a strong community with a lot of musicians in it so not super surprising but just a little side
note uh I happen to be my my my dad and uh his his wife my stepmom were having dinner and you know
something something came up about blockchain and and so she's she's
always asking me different things about it and so i was explaining different things and i brought up
uh your your song being uh on the moon and that was like she was like what what how so it was it
was a fun point to just like throw out how far uh blockchain has come over the last few years.
Yeah, it was an intense few days.
I was on the national TV here and radio and newspapers.
And yeah, my mom was the same, kind of the same.
She was, no, this is not real.
This is not happening until I was in her local newspaper. Then she, okay, it's in the newspaper.
Yeah, for all fashion people, correctly. newspaper, then she says, okay, it's in the newspaper, then it's true.
Yeah, for all fashion people correctly, but it's very interesting for us, which song on the moon.
Maybe you can play or just to explain about it is very interesting, what the music on the moon is.
Yeah, I can't play it at the moment because we're getting a new broadband here, so I'm waiting for some guy to No puedo tocarlo en el momento porque estamos en una nueva banda de broad, así que estoy esperando a algún tipo de gente que viene a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a ir a people on the song and all are in the midi punks family and yeah super fun super fun and
so yeah we've been over 500 people so far on we think we did seven or eight songs and
maybe we will reach 600 now thanks to the zao and we want to give a shout out to zaal who is
in my opinion he's young he's if you don't know that guy you're missing out because he's just you know
what I'm talking about right he's the guy he's a mover and a shaker man he's he's going to
universities to like pitch the loans token he's going to build-a-thon hackathons um we have a a
fractal meetup every Monday uh it's like what is it it? It's I think 4 p.m. PST. So that'd be like
6, 7 p.m. Oh, sorry. 4 p.m. PST, 7 p.m. EST. And so we get together for like a little bit and
there'll be an intro about the Zao. And then we break off into groups of six so that people can share what they've been working on over the last week.
It's a really cool, I think optimism sort of pioneered the fractal meetups.
But it's been adopted by the Zao.
And then everybody basically gets like some of the Zao respect token, which is soul bound.
But that sort of measures like how much activity you've put in
and how many meetings you've come to.
And it's just a great group of artists and musicians
And so I would definitely suggest to anybody here
to check it out and come join.
I'm super happy that we teamed up.
We're working on a little collab collection
in understanding what is going on
because I would like to know more about the competition because recently yesterday one like a group, I don't know how to say community, they are got a record from the Guinness by mostly people engaging in one song and they made it 182 is by a school of fractions and there's uh people from linkedin
they are top voices there's a davos you know there's a this party and we was in the one event
and maybe if you're you know like it make it more numbers you can beat them because competition in
the stand is open yeah 182 uh different voices in one song and they get to Guinness.
We're at the 112, I think, is our record.
So not far behind, but let's see.
So this is basically we just want to do a fun activity with our friends in the ZOW
and see who can add most voices to the same song. So I did
a chorus, kind of a high school vibe because they're into loans and student loans and that
kind of thing to get kind of that vibe. And yeah, shout out to the females there, Semme, Candy and
Danichi, they added their parts. But yeah, if you want to add something, let me know.
In our case, you need to be in our community, the MidiPunks.
We have two mints happening at the moment, the bass DJ and the new abstract girl.
And if you're smart, you'll get the bass DJ because then you get the abstract girl for free until tomorrow because all members
get to mint the abstract girl for free and so if you get the bass dj you will be in the community
and family and you get the free girl the first female midi punk let's go thank you so much feel
free to ping on top invite or something that people can find and know about more Medipunks.
I go through your links and I don't know what else will be a better to ping. Feel free to do it.
Everything is under medipunks.com if you want to look. Medipunks not with an S but with a C or Z depending on how you like to name that reversed S letter.
It's complicated better than following Song of Eden, and you will find out.
It will be an easy way to go.
I see more people joining.
Today we are talking about the human-centric approach or maybe a
achievement when it's human united together as a president of
midi punks and to be with the song on the moon and think there's
something that is required to be a book of guinness as well but feel free I see
more people I see I met you and Anastasia, sorry I did not say you hi.
Yeah, glad to have you here and if anyone would like to unmute not only
Shil talking about the human centric approach of the technology or humans in general, we are here to talk.
Yeah, hello. here to talk. Okay. Okay. Yeah.
I didn't know you were still continuing.
Let's grow. I hope I don't get
No worries. I think I've't get Grow Police prepared. No worries.
I think I've left my lesson.
Grow Police are only on shift in week
two, so we have a whole week to
practice the Grow Calculary.
Donation. We say Grow, not
We grow-tate. We don't rotate.
I would say garden. Good, good, good, good. I'm grow tail we don't rotate i was a garden good good good good good
i'm i'm making sure i don't i don't make the mistake i don't want to get get policed all right
all right all right it's cool let's go let's go let's go is now yours is now your hosting shift
yeah yeah this is my whole session okay Yeah, we're doing 30 minute slots.
We had more than 40 hosts.
But of course, everyone is welcome to stay here.
It's just a responsibility to facilitate Convo.
But we're all here together as one big fam jam.
So let me do the little grotation here.
Choice that might drop you, but please do feel free to come up as a speaker when that happens oh lord the browser is completely frozen
yeah we're on video right now? Like if I invite some guys who would like to stream?
Yeah, we're on video right now.
So, I shared it in the previous spaces.
Anyone who wants to come on video, please do feel free.
Actually, actually, I think if you go to link.letsgrow.network.
Slash video, It should work.
I'm just a little worried about rugging the spaces right now because the browser is in
I can live myself, but I see I don't have to.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Before you leave, we got to make sure we don't rug this thing.
responding it's responding slowly but surely I'm gonna chill out with all this
bridging I'm trying to do I'm so confused I was so sure I groanated to a bunch of
projects and then I click my groanation history and it's not showing and then
apparently hasn't gone through yet I'm I'm very confused i uh i had uh was it on cello or arbitrum yeah it was cello
so i had some uh in the cart for tree gens on arbitrum and then it just wasn't going through
it kept on catching an error and it said like reach out to support or something and then
i refreshed and then i was just telling me to go to cello. So now I'm trying to bridge over some cello
But yeah, you know, I'll work it out
I think we had the same thing happen
The same thing happened in our community
This is what happens when you try new things and you innovate there's bound to be some hiccups along the way
These are merely bumps on the journey. We are laughing. Yep. Oh
Sorry, I just wanted to to suggest have any of you used the wallet Valora Valora oh this is the cello one
huh it's great yeah it's cello it's really easy to to use cello there
How do you spell that? V a L O R a it's similar to you need swap actually
We used to what happened to the SquidRouter integration into
Gitcoin? They had that last time, didn't they? You could just bridge right within the whole
shebang. Wait, okay, hold up, guys. The funds has definitely left my wallet.
Yes. Oh, yes. Oh, it worked. Oh, we have our stewards at work.
I guess it wasn't me. It wasn't me.
No, I didn't do that. That's great. I'm glad someone did it.
Amazing. We have teamwork. We're happening. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Okay. As you were, Boralus. Carla.
Thank you. Thank you, Jimmy.my thank you thank you so much um all right so a big shout out to gitcoin for the stick And it's something that we haven't Releases before Jimmy
Sorry, what were you saying?
Hey, what you know about building on chains?
Get it Oh Hey, what you know about building on chains? Ho! Let's get it.
This is Carla's song, guys.
No, we can't take a break now. Right. I didn't know that is
Let's grow. Let's grow. Build on chain and grow.
Build the people like you planted trees and grow.
Society of change don't happen by itself.
All right, back to you guys.
I had to do it. I had to do it. All right, it's all right. What did we say? sounds phenomenal okay thank you thank you thank you thank you that was really cool
that was a very good interruption it was it was a very good i did not see that one called me jimmy
thank you thank you that was really great let's grow let's grow let's grow people let's grow
with g23 let's grow thank you thank you so much to me that was that was really cool i'm glad you
guys i'm glad you guys liked the song um we probably will do a remix with artists who
I think we'll talk about that after GG23.
So I'll say thank you before the Let's Grow song came up.
I'll say thank you to Gitkoi, thank you to Awaki, thank you to Selo, thank you to Let's Grow.
It's just been amazing having this synergy from different ecosystems
and we are all building in web 3 and all trying to make impact both on chain and off chain and
that was one of the thing that we wanted to bring to universities in Africa because I got to know, I got to find
out that a lot of young people who are doing onboarding activities and education activities
in the schools and basically being selfless and helping other people understand the economy in the Web3 space, helping developers grow their skills.
A lot of them didn't know that there was something
called public goods in Web3.
And a lot of them didn't know that, oh,
this impact you're making actually can be supported
so you could even make more impact.
And that was why I thought if we're going to run a community round,
it should be with three, four universities.
And thankfully, we put out our application,
we put in our matching fund, and we got into the community round,
and Gitcoin is supporting, Cell of Blockchain is supporting,
and Owaiki also himself is supporting, Selo Blockchain is supporting, and Awake also himself is supporting.
So if you are here, you can just put something in the comment section, thanking Awake, thanking
Gitcoin, thanking Selo Network, and thanking Bottleless also for the Web3 for universities
coming around because this is a sort of like a group effort.
It's not just part of this.
And so we have lots, we had 50 persons who,
50 projects, some projects, some individuals
who have been accepted into this round.
And the projects has just been amazing.
We did it sweet and I think I shared it in the garden.
I'm never saying jumbotrons.
I shared it in the garden and you could just see it.
I think it's the second one here.
You could just take a look at it
and go through all the projects that are in the round
and pick the various ones to donate to.
Some of the project builders are here
and I'm going to bring them up on stage to talk about their project. Now if you're just joining
and you have a project in the round, you can also request for the mic to speak so um you could talk about your your project so we have um let's see
who is here already well it seems like nobody from if you guys are trying to request for the mic
um i'm actually cool okay yeah okay cool cool cool okay so the the purpose of this is for them to talk about the projects
and then you grow native to them oh i'm doing well i am not i am not going to be policed
i'm doing well good good good and then you grow native to uh this project now these are whoever it is you're going to hear
are really young people in the universities maybe this year or last year some of them haven't even
gone for their nyc um yet some are just finishing their nyc nigeria is national youth service called
it's young people who graduate on universities do sort
of like you know a one-year-long community service so anybody you're hearing talk about
their project um their their primary um impact area is in the universities because they're
conversing with students some of them are in universities, some of them are just entering universities. And the common
thing between a lot of them is you can see the impact that they have had on developer
education, web3 onboarding education for students, for young people in the communities. So we're trying to let people know that to go global, you also need
to provide local impact. And a lot of these people, a lot of these young people who are
coming to speak have provided local impact in their community and also in the public
community and university ecosystems. So we have first Elisha Sunday and after Elisha Sunday we have Praise
Of Odiosa and I'll bring up the other people as they come. I see KVisuals, I see Dev Rapture,
I see Sol IB, I see Mark, I see with David, I see Black Dab, I see Designed by OG um i see black dab i see designed by og i see library protocol i see
harry so um as you guys speak it's it's a space that you know we could um there's enough time to
to express and talk about your project as you guys speak uh when you're done you could just leave so
that all the people can join in also all right so
elisha sunday over to you please talk about your project thank you okay uh thank you thank you so
much makala oh feels good to be here time to groan it so yeah my project is basically um about bringing newbies on chain literally over the last two years
i've been up and about onboarding numerous people launching both through my simplified video contents
um value-packed threads and even in real life co-hosted several events and
yes it was a privilege getting into this community around by borderless so uh my project is on the
comment session and makala i've talked to it would appreciate it on the Jumbo throne. By donating to me $5, $3,
you helped me get much to even higher funds
and get to have more value in the ecosystem.
Looking forward to donating to everyone too.
Please donate to Elisha. to everyone too this is granite to elisha's project and um i think he pinned it also in the
in the jumbotron and then you can find it there thank you so much um praise
for what else i see you're still connecting but while you are connecting
let's build down just um came up on stage let's build down
is it is it great adam's behind the mic or someone else let's do that you have to flow
all right gm gm everyone can you hear me gm yeah i can hear you. All right. So excited to be here today and being part of the Web3 for University Grant,
hosted by Baudelis. So a bit about Lesbidao. Lesbidao is a decentralized autonomous organization.
Our main goal is to help grow on-chain transactions, on-chain activity in Africa.
And for the past couple of years, we have contributed to recruiting Web3 education in Africa,
in universities, and in our region.
And joining the grant is also a means of course
of contributing further and helping people understand
what Web3 is and how it can impact lives and students
because the generation and future we're pleased and how it can impact lives and students because the generation and future we are growing
to young people are a big part of the ecosystem.
And that is why Lesbidao is pushing for that group.
So I'm going to be sharing our link on the Jumbotron
so you could vote for Lesbidao. And also, I'm looking forward to putting it to other projects.
I'm glad you talked about donations to other projects.
Just a kind reminder, the work 3 for Universities coming to Iran uses a mix of quadratic funding mechanism and cluster matching
what it essentially means is when you see a project that you want to donate to don't
in the web 3 for investors coming to Iran don't only donate to one project donate to two or three
more because we donate to one project the cluster matching mechanism would get suspicious and think oh this is a
fibula and then you'll be heartened the one project because um they wouldn't get the most
out of the matching pool that they were supposed to get as a result of your donation so when you
come in get us over the project you should donate to donate to bite on chain the xyz but needs to
donate to bite on chain the xyz but needs to um borderless donate to all the projects that are
in the in the in the round thank you thank you so much um let's build down so i have the rapture
next they've wrapped you please omit your mic and tell us about your projects
let's go hello let's go yeah sorry so I think you meant to say grow thank you okay yeah there you go back to you
it's okay girl please is not on duty right now just letting you know all right thank you okay
okay okay thank you thank you um so my name is Rapture. My name is a software engineer. I'll be part of Botherless. And I noticed when I was doing hackathons and also participating in Cypher. to learn with three technologies so i noticed um starting could be a bit difficult especially
when you are creating your dev environment so i created a tool that helps you do all that
in less than two minutes um the name of the two is dev rapi and i applied um it's open source
applied um it's open source uh so i will look forward for donation those don't do it to only
me can donate to other people and i'm also looking at donating at other projects that are
that i find interesting and i make the community grow
okay i think that's all from my end thank you miss color thank you everyone for this
let's grow my guy sorry is this just me okay dev dev you're done i think my internet went off a bit did you face everything you can say yes okay okay thank you while you're here
okay great great guys please share your project in the jump in the garden
that would not you would not catch me
share your project in the garden share a project in the garden so all people could could also take a look at
at it all right thank you so much devrapto and next we have praise or hold yes sir
praise please um come talk to us about your project
okay jim jim. Am I being heard?
Okay, so my name is Praise the World Yasser,
and I'm a content creator who used my content creation skills for onboarding students onto Web 3.
Now, while I was a student, there was little to no, you know,
blockchain activities going on in my school.
And it affected me adopting the, you know, blockchain technology and all of that.
So basically what I am doing is I am providing other people the opportunity
I'm currently on a university onboarding tour where I go
into different universities across Nigeria and onboard students. I basically play fun games with
them and I give out tokens, I give out fiat just to get them excited because they are students you have to you know get them excited for
what you're about to do for them and i don't just on both people and leave them hanging on both them
and i have a community which helps them which take them from where they are and you know i help them
grow you know from being a newbie to understanding the basic, understanding what blockchain technology is, you know, demystifying all the complex concepts.
I'm also a tutor and I try to help people, you know, get started because most of them think, a lot of them feel like,
okay, work 3 is all about trading, buying coins and all of that.
I am, you know, demystifying that concept, that idea, and teaching them different skills that could help them get started.
I teach them graphic design. I teach them how to be right out, right threads, you know, how to create content.
I basically use my skills to enrich students and bring them on chain.
And I am in the Web3 for Universities round, and I need your support.
Because it is with your support or by your support that I'll be able
to do all that I want to do. You know I'm actually planning a conference here I invite students from
various across various universities bring them together and show them tell them the truth about
the blockchain. You know I already have a list of speakers lined out spoken to some of them already
and these speakers were one student some are
actually still students so they'll be able to bring you know you know drive it home and ladies
and students understand that it is possible to be a student and to make impact on shame
so i'll be sharing my um link to on the garden yes in the garden not jumbotron i've learned that already just by being here
so i'll be sharing my link on the garden so you guys should of course vote for me donate to me
and of course donate to all the amazing amazing projects on the round thank you so much for the
opportunity thank you thank you so much praise so um guys if you could just go to the web 3 for universities
I already shared the link in the jumbotron just go to the web 3 for universities
and take a look at these amazing projects now these are young people a lot of them are young people who are in universities so um when you take a look at
somebody's profile and you're seeing the you know really cool things that they've done just
having in the back of your mind that this is somebody who is really young got to learn about
most experienced one that i saw was three years into it. Some of them are one year into the Web3 space, you know, Web3 seriously sort of rounds but um we did we've never had it
where it is tailored to impact in the universities so please go to the um web3 for investors community
round and support us guys and when you do oh please tag us vote um sorry grenade grenade and then post about it on x and tag us would
like to amplify so that all the people also who are you know getting to gg23 can take a look at
this and support this project all right thank you thank you so much who else wants to come on stage
okay so we only have praise on stage at the moment if anyone else wants to come on stage okay so we only have praise on stage at the moment if anyone else wants to
come on stage feel free to request for the mic there's something else i also want to point out
um if you're using paypal if you're using if maybe you you you don't have credit card or probably you
guys talk to people who don't have who don't have crypto sorry but they have credit cards or probably you guys talk to people who don't have who don't have them crypto sorry but they have credit cards or they have people
know me the tech and seller blockchain and cramstack has helped us set up our
no means donation area or just I think we've tweeted it if we haven't let's see
okay we haven't said it yet I'm gonna we're gonna tweet it and then i would send the link i think i'll just do it now so in case you have people who um don't have a
they don't want to do crypto or you know the crypto thing is too difficult for them
um grenade with through paypal or through um credit card Special thanks to Nomi.tech for that.
Big thanks to Grant Stacks for that.
And a really big thank you to Celo Blockchain for that.
The support has just been massive.
So there is no excuse whatsoever
to not support projects in GG23.
No. So if you don't have crypto you can use paypal if you
don't want to use crypto you can use your credit card and numing.tech does this thing where um you
you would be able to at the background it converts the fiat to um cusd or a stable coin or seller blockchain and the grantees
get it directly directly so please do um grenade with paypal if you can or credit cards to web3 for
universities um community around so i'm sharing the post right now in the garden
in case you need to get it just share to um your networks you might have some newbies in your
community in your community who are like oh yeah this is a really good initiative um beacon grants
for different universities and they're like oh i didn't have any crypto fine if they have people they could go in it if they have um um credit cards
and all they could donate and it also works for um certain regions where maybe they're not so good
with with uh crypto yes but they're good with the infrastructure it'll be really great to see people
these projects outside of using crypto thank you guys so much nobody else has requested for the mic
Before I get stuck about my project,
The last time I was on Let's Grow space was when
Baudelaire was in I think I was G22 right yeah this is the community manager
for Baudelaire and I'm right here talking about so my projects I also
remember from the last space then when VLT said guy you need to build something
and since then I've just been thinking a lot, man.
And I've actually shared my Gitcoin cause it project,
but I've actually shared my impact in the ecosystem
in Web3 on this project that I've been donating to.
Well, yeah, just to follow some of my friends,
like VOT have said said i should build something
so i'm i'm working on getting a put a protocol right we i know we are we are talking about i
work with communities a lot and i work with indivis and i was like okay if dave rapture is
building rapi right and then i have Praise who is doing the educational part of stuff.
Let me create a platform, a protocol where they can host their stuff.
Maybe Praise can upload its content.
The Rapp can put up his Rappi and and people are actually going
from press that gets into use and raptors tool and at the long run if you like i need to join a
community they would see a lot of these things just with one click right so i'm working on all
of these things i i wouldn't say it's feasible right now but i know i've actually put a team
together for that so this donation is not just going to be for the impact that i've done it's feasible right now but i know i've actually put a team together for that so this
donation is not just going to be for the impact that i've done it's for the things that i want to
do with everyone that is contributing to web3 to the adoption of blockchain technology so
basically i've done a lot i've managed communities I've helped individuals do a few things in Work3, but it's not enough. I feel like I should do something for them to aid their feasibility too. that you have to learn something and for the time that you are using this getting to know about
communities on this platform you get to win also so it's a used to end platform so you are not just
any uh learning to and then you are getting to know the things and people that you know away
so on this protocol you're going to have the so in its work i put this network right
actually you can get a it's a tab page for that but all of that is in works so all the persons
that are using the protocol grows in its work but you can you can have easy access to them
you can we can have easy access to them so this donation is going to help a lot so yeah let's
just grenade to so i i had i added my link to the garden okay and more time that i get on this page
i think i'll just share more more light on that so thank you to everyone that is grenating to Seoul today and I look forward to
Grenade to a Love project and this collaborative collaborate. I mean that would make so much sense.
It's not just for me. I look out for everyone on here.
All right. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you so much Ivy. Thank you so much Ivy.
Let's grenade to a lot of projects in FG23.
I also have a couple of projects that I have added to my cart, but I haven't signed the, for doing that later today. So just so you guys know, everyone who came up to talk today about their project,
I am personally making a donation to them later today after this space.
So I think our steward time is out.
Yep, I think our steward time is out.
But everyone is welcome to stay and come talk about
your project I mean the Let's Grow Life the reason is 24-7 is because there's always an opportunity
always so even if you didn't come up now to speak even after now you can come up an hour later and
talk again about your project you don't know
who's going to be on stage at that period you don't know who's going to be on their computer
willing to add projects to cart and they hear you talk about your project and they're adding you to
cart so like i said in the video i think i did a video about how to save yourself in digital
I think I did a video about how to shoot yourself in GG23 and I started about how we we had only
eight contributors in GG810 and how we were really terrible at marketing and also I don't think
Let's Grow Live was there in GG810? Will T, Jimmy was that Let's Grow Live in GG810?
we'll see jimmy was that let's go live in gg18 when did we start let's go live during the congrats
let's grow live started in gg20 but before that we had um
and then we were we were partnered with um solar pump guild and they were doing a 24-7 broadcast.
Okay, I didn't know about that in GG18 at all.
So maybe if I did and I would come out to talk about Borderless,
we probably would have gotten more than just eight contributors.
But right now, you know...
What? Is my internet going up? Am I back? You're back. You can tweet about it. She's back. Is my internet going out?
You're back. You're back.
You went out for about 60 seconds.
What's happening with my internet?
Can you guys hear me now?
Internet isn't super strong everywhere, but I think you're solid now.
So I was saying that the opportunity that these live spaces present a lot.
This is the closest to IRL that you can get.
in a key to what Faze was saying about going to schools to onboard them,
I think Gitcoin Grants is also a really good onboarding example, opportunity rather, to show people that the blockchain, blockchain Web3 is more than just crypto trading, especially in regions like 2024, during the Borderless 3.0 event.
We had a booth and we provided funds in Arbitrum tokens where newbies came in, they downloaded the wallet, we sent them ABF, and we told them, oh, go to this this case don't need to sell them projects and some of them
asked oh why and it was a good opportunity to help people understand what gig coin grants is
what public group is what three and a lot and a lot of things so i think that um if you guys are
in your schools in your universities this is a really good time to rally your community and say, hey, guys, you know all the impacts we've been making in this school and with you guys.
Please go get at least two to three dollars and donate to our project and these other projects in this round.
People who are new who probably don't even have anything about
wallets and all this is a good opportunity for them. This is a good
opportunity for them to use you know wallets. It's a good opportunity for them
to understand using tokens you know changing networks, Abitrum network,
Cello network. All of this Geekcoin grant period is also a really big onboarding opportunity.
So if you could rally your community, begin to rally them now and you could use one stone to kill several birds.
So that's my talk for today. Thank you so much for helping me be a, for the opportunity to be a steward or to co-host at this time i'm really grateful
and please grenade to project in the web three four universities round thank you have a great day
everyone bye hey carla let's grow hey before you dip you dip, let me do some shuffling around on the stage, okay?
And Carla, it was great having you at the Impact concert. Thanks so much for coming and participating.
Oh, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for the opportunity. One moment here.
We are doing some adjustments on the stage. Please stand by.
Sounds like when the pilot comes out. Actually, it sounds better than when the pilot says something in the plane.
when a pilot says something to play.
We've reached growing altitude.
Please buckle your seatbelts.
So, Vastaf, welcome to Let's Grow Live.
First of all, my name is Srivatsaf and i am the founder of Recype Protocol that is
the horizon that and i'm part of the gitcoin grants web3 infrastructure around now and uh i'll before
i start off talking about my project i would first like to you know thank uh let's grow uh
the community and let's go live for giving me this amazing
opportunity i mean i'm not that great in marketing but uh i mean when i got this opportunity i can
speak but i know i don't anything about it but this platform this space gives me a lot to talk
about and uh i just like to thank you guys before i start off so thank you for that thank you for this opportunity so first of all
hello everyone hope you guys are doing all good and let me so my my project is RSI protocol it's
RSI stands for resilient stable infrastructure protocol so and for thank first thank you for the opportunity.
And first of all, the whole Reza protocol is essentially a stablecoin that I'm building
And the reason that I came upon this idea or this motivation to build a stablecoin like
this was actually last year during the banking crisis i mean two years back
in 2023 when you know banks failed and the usdc temporarily like de-pegged there was a lot of uh
frustration there's a lot of stability issues for a lot of uh you know organizations and uh i mean
and that especially for me during i'm not i'm I'm very kind of like a person who likes investing and stuff and both in the traditional space and the DeFi space.
And the whole, I thought the whole point of stable coins was to, you know, stabilizeC de-begged for something that happened in the real world I mean essentially I
felt that it was I mean for me personally I felt that it was not as stable as I thought it would be
and which which made me think about like what stability actually means in the DeFi world like
like how to make something actually stable so that's why uh i am i'm building some something
a bit different it's a bit uh uh x more exploratory and more uh uh like uh innovative so uh
instead of uh pegging my stable coin to the traditional fiat currency like usd or the
coin to the traditional fiat currency like usd or the japanese yen euros or whichever it is uh i'm
i'm creating something called uvu which is a universal universal value unit and uh and it
consists of like two parts uh one is the 60 of it is uh is a crypto native basket, which is essentially like, let me see, I'll explain it.
So it's basically, it's basically, the 60% basket consists of like, you know, it's basically
computational resources, resources in places like archives, render or the graph, you know, storage
spaces like in Filecoin, bandwidth access, like in Helium or NKN, like
security and settlement through like stake DTH or liquid staking tokens and like labor
on the decentralized space like in superfluid or brain trust.
These aren't like actual assets or currencies they they represent actual productive productive capacity
in the in the digital economy so when you so when you're holding my resides table coin token you're
essentially like holding like a claim to the basket of like digital utilities and uh so that
is that and that is my idea and also to make it easy to onboard people to help because uv
you i unite for me personally as well it's a completely new concept as well but and so you
know i want people to like uh to to like uh understand that uh uh uv is also stable so I added a second component in the UVU which is
essentially 40% of like a fiat currency stability basket which is like it
tracks all the major world currencies like USD, Europe, Japanese yen and Great
Britain pound they kind of like how special drawing rights of the IMF works
and this both of these combined give me give me a UVU that I'll take my
resi token to and also so that is the that was one of the main core parts of
my project and the second core part of my project was to like I don't many many
of the like one of the things that I noticed when I was building a lot of my projects, when I was
reiterating, reiterating was, I was depending on static algorithms to react to the market.
You know, and it always reacts in a certain way, even though many times I noticed that
certain way even though some many times I noticed that it it that isn't the way that is supposed to
react so I am now instead trying to I'm making my project AI driven so that the mostly ML models
read the data from the market how the stability of how how the token how the uv is being stable how the usdc
is being stable and like and like use that data to uh set the stability fees the redemption fees
uh the collateral ratios of uh different tokens during the time of deposit so that the so that
i want i'm trying to make the reserve protocol system more proactive
in terms of the like making sure things are stable then being reactive to the market so uh
that that is what that is what i'm looking towards and uh also uh one of the uh one of the third
main thing that i'm trying to solve with my project is uh is uh is privacy so i'm like i'm
trying to uh bake privacy into the base layer of everything like for voting as before using zero
knowledge zk snacks with uh plonk based systems for uh plonk based proof systems for like voting
to for like uh you know collateral deposit collateral withdrawals uh and like
zkml to ensure that uh the ai system that is being used is not only uh uh not is i don't
want people to just trust it for the sake of trusting it so that you know so anything
that is a the ai does does that came a proof associated with it to make sure that uh it's that it's uh
this its decision is valid and uh and all this all these systems can be controlled by
governance or dow uh which um you know can uh can enable or disable the ai at this discretion
you know can and every system has fallback mechanisms that the governance can
make use of they can like disable the zkp verification for specific modules if necessary
they can they also can change the uvu basket composition to whatever they need to depending
on the market uh so like every every single part of the system is allowed to be controlled
by the governance, which also has a hybrid of quadratic and conviction voting and also
privacy. So that is the main idea of my project. And if you guys have any questions, please let me know because
I'm trying to refine my project as much as I can and your input actually helps. Any questions from the speaker panel?
I don't know if it's a question as much as a comment.
I've also always thought it's weird that we base stability on the currencies and things we've, you know,
proclaimed we want to get away from.
Everybody's like, the dollar is terrible.
Why isn't it backed by dollars um i don't know i feel like i like the idea to move away from the idea that
the dollar is is stable because as we all are aware it's not um like that's. So I keep doing what you're doing.
Are you sure that's enough?
No, we got to keep the other people happy too.
On the other side of the fence.
But keep building the thing.
Thanks for making the innovations happen.
Thank you for the input also i i did uh i mean obviously i mean depending on usd
is becoming too much of a risk especially since uh you know last year there have been like many
cases where uh the the country almost defaulted because they didn't raise any funds and that causes panic in the entire financial system
also yeah yeah you're right i mean 60 i'm i mean the entire goal is to move slowly towards 100%
of crypto crypto native utility basket but like like you said uh i want to keep both sides on
both sides of the coin happy and uh you know make sure it's easy to onboard people
like people who understand the crypto or like crypto native basket will be happy with the 60
percent people who understand the fiat currency basket will be happy with the 40 percent and as
uh and like every quarter of like for example quarter four of 2025 like moving from 40 to 35
percent then 35 to 30 and i'll keep going until we get back to 100
percent of crypto native so that's the idea and the governance can control all this and
can decide on that discussion
woohoo fiat sucks i gotta i gotta i gotta jump out because it's like 2 30 a.m for me but i'll
see you all back here tomorrow.
Much love and let's keep growing.
Um... Rivastav. So... its crew um so what i understand you're doing in the construction and the architecture of the stable coin is that you're doing it at the protocol level am i understanding that correctly
oh yes you're right i'm i'm kind of like designing the architecture of the UVU, integrating the ZKPs and the ARML and stuff like that.
Oh my gosh. Alright, cool. That's bent. once this is built i mean will it be since it's at the protocol level would it be necessary to have
reserves that um are basically back in the stable coin oh yeah uh so that's an interesting question
so i'm i'm building this uh the system like in such a way that they'll have an it'll have a hybrid collateral system where
like people can deposit any type of uh cryptocurrency or like you know i'm also
exploring options on like uh are like tokenized rwas like for depositing as collateral and uh
and also uh any any time there's a any time there's a fee like the different ability redemption fees and
any fees they go into an automated stability reserve uh that collects all these funds and
can be used at the discretion of uh the governance and like the doubt and like uh also like the automated stability is always built in such a
way that the the the the m ai constantly monitors it and uh you know and also more constantly
monitors the market and you know lets the governance know i mean uh i mean we want to
trust here but we can't we don't want to trust it with everything you know there's limits on how
i'm limiting on how much ai can do and if the and if no more needs to be done it needs governance
approval so if it needs to deploy the stability reserve the funds from stability reserve it needs
fun it needs approvals in the governance and uh like uh the automated the the yeah they also monitors the collateral pool at any time and also ensures that
the collateral pool is also not heavily dependent on one asset so that you know for example let's
say high politically there's like 60 percent of btc in the collateral pool which is which
let's say is more more than what the system wants it to be so the a the ai like
promotes the use of other collaterals uh while during the time of deposit like first like put
the collateral ratio of bitcoin higher and puts the collateral ratio let's say ethereum and usdc
lower so for that so that people can uh you know use a deposit ethereum and uldc more than btc and bring the level of btc down from 60
percent you know in that way if btc drops uh during uh let's say uh uh bear market
the collateral pool is not heavily dependent on it as well
so it functions very similar to a punning curve then by keeping everything in balance
I'm sorry I didn't get that could you repeat that I said functionality which you just described
functions like a bonding curve then where it keeps all the tokens in the pool in balance
or is there a different mechanism uh
kind of kind of doing that but uh i'm trying to see if there's a more uh like efficient way of
doing it i mean uh like right now i think it's like a simple uh like a like a balance will do good i mean i'm just i'm just trying to explore the
option i mean i know uh as far as i've searched i haven't seen uh anyone trying to do that to
the collateral pool so if you know anything that is similar to this i would like love to explore that
My earbud is going to fail on me.
I just think it might be an interesting use case to kind of have a conversation with
the token engineering commons about.
They may be interested in the work that you're doing.
Really, I'll reach out to them thank you
all right am i still audible yeah yes sir okay i had just switch earbuds cuz my other everybody's gonna die in a camp in case for it right now
Cool, cool. So you guys are in GG 23
Yes, we are we are in the web 3 infrastructure run
Let me see. Do you have a
Do you have I don't see recite protocol in here now that account do you have a your grant pinned on
Your page for a reset okay. Yeah, I mean, I mean, I okay
I'm just gonna share it in the space so everybody knows
I don't think it's a pinch post
this is the value of community I love it
you only got 12 come on everybody in here if you just
loved what you heard from Recyte protocol please give that account a
follow it needs news oh yeah here it is did you find it already James I found a
link to the grant man it just says support yeah I'm looking on his personal page and not his
uh see now I found it from him mm-hmm so um
not to bring other projects in the conversation but there is a stable coin
now that's very heavily used within
the public goods ecosystem are you familiar with the glow dollar
sort of stuff yeah yeah i'm seeing a lot of it everywhere i mean i haven't explored much on that but uh i'm actually on a vacation right now so i'm just finding the time to work on my project and trying to market it, but I want to explore the...
Yeah, so just a little bit about USD GLOW or GLOWDOLLAR.
What they do is they're a stable coin,
and their reserves are backed by TradFi financial products, right?
And so what they do is different than like Circle or Tether,
where those organizations keep the profits from their investments.
I'm going to use air quotes and use the term loosely.
It's not financial advice, but just for context sake,
what GlowDollar does is they take the yields from all their trad fi uh investments
of their reserves and then they put it back out into the ecosystem so i think it's pretty cool
um you may want to think about something like that um in your ecosystem but i know we all still
in here we have to make a living too right so I don't know
maybe it's a percentage-based thing but just wanted to kind of plant that seed in your brain
as you're building that there may be some automated mechanisms in there too there's also new
on-chain allocation methods and methodologies that have developed in the last I don't know
six to eight months or so like like super fluid where you can stream
funds directly to wallets every microsecond um so yeah just curious to kind of follow your story and
see how this develops well interesting uh to so yeah yield bearing stablecoin you say so i mean
that's not something that's very interesting i I can, I'll definitely take a look at what you suggested.
And I know, I'm pretty sure I can make it work.
I mean, because what you said is right.
I would want to as well hold my stablecoin and make some money out of it.
But, yeah, definitely something to look at.
Thank you for giving me that idea
to something to look forward to.
Yeah, yeah, no doubt, no doubt.
I think it's important for builders,
especially early stage builders,
to kind of understand like, you know, what,
what would be, I'm going to, I'm going to use a business term here,
the biggest bang for their buck, right. In terms of usability.
So I know especially about infra, it's primarily about usability.
if you're building something and no one's using it, what good is it? Right.
So at the end of the day.
You have a lot of time left on your balance sheet.
Do you have anything else you want to share with us about the project?
Or how long you've been in Web3?
Or how long you've been open source?
I mean, I can keep going.
I mean, a lot of things like...
I have been in, you know, Web I was just exploring a lot of things. I'm like, what is this? What is this thing that people keep talking about? You know, as I kept exploring, you know, my focus went from just cryptocurrency,
like how blockchain works.
And I didn't really go that deep into it until 2023,
until I was forced to, you know, make some project, you know,
so that I can showcase it on my resume.
I mean, but once I started building it,
I started falling in love and like something different,
something totally unique.
I mean, like getting used to like how it works,
how, and obviously, you know,
there's a lot of communities like on reddit on twitter
crypto twitter like crypto reddit uh you know a lot of places where you know where like
guys read interesting like amazing stuff and uh and that's that's that is where i got into
like the world of blockchain and uh like coming uh like like back to my project i mean the whole the goal
of my project i'm at least i am the way i see it i mean i don't know if it is uh like possible but uh
am i audible i don't know if i can yeah buddy you gucci you gucci oh okay all right so the whole point of the whole
idea of my project you know uh i i don't want uh like though the entire uh entire uh one of the
most stable investments in uh in the traditional finance world is usually the u.s treasury bond
uh and uh especially when it uh started uh when there's a lot of concerns behind usd and you know whether you
the whether the United States could keep paying its depth you know especially like 37 or 38 trillion
dollars or something and you know my in my concern was look at okay there's like trillions of dollars
of debt that needs to be paid back and now it's uh you know it's under risk and people want some place to pack their money you know and and you know some place
to keep it safe and some place to where they can keep it and keep uh keep keep it growing as well
you know one of the ideas that i'm looking at as well i don't know if it's possible but uh you know
kind of like making once the system is like you know grows bigger to make like uh
raise our bonds uh where ice where you know people come and pack their money in resi protocol like
and like it's it comes in automated in automatic stability reserve or in the collateral pool or
like providing liquidity and uh resi pays them uh biannual interest kind of like how the bond works and uh you know but
average uh and like but compared to the traditional for a traditional final bonds uh
none of the anything anything that happens in the world is not if it does not affect the bond so
it keeps it stable keeps the income going i mean I don't know if something like this is possible, but that is my goal that I'm working towards.
They see my system as something that is so stable
that they park their money into it.
And they know, kind of like,
if you want to keep your money safe, keep it in reserve.
Yeah. Maybe he could benefit from a conversation with uh change code because they work on green bots right here jams change code green bots you said green bonds oh do they now yeah i don't know
they're they're one of our hosts right i would love to learn more about what they got cooking. Are they one of our hosts around? Let me get them in here if they're not.
Absolutely. Change code, yeah.
All right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sweet. Yeah, well, I'll delve in deeper. And Shreva Tsev, you know, you got this hosting slot, but you can come in here literally any hour. And I really encourage friends to come through and really try to network, meet other people,
see which of the building blocks, you know, can you connect with, right?
Because we've all got a piece to this beautiful puzzle of a regenerative future that we want
to live in, and we're all playing our own roles in it.
And yeah, I think that'd be really cool
if you connect with them.
And I'm sure there's other people as well
that would be great to connect with.
So love it, love it, love it, love it.
Sonny Vastoff, I've got another question for you
now that I'm thinking about it.
What was the attractant to you
with Zero Knowledge Proofs?
I'm sorry, wait why what was the attractant to zero knowledge proofs what what got you excited about them oh zero knowledge proofs uh i mean i'll i'll
i'll i mean the whole concept itself is something that i i kind of like when i first i mean have you guys uh like heard about
the the alibaba cave analogy of zero knowledge proof yeah i mean i mean that's that's my first
introduction to it i mean i when i was like actually like last year when i was trying when
i was going through like you know different uh innovations in like, in the blockchain space, they, it was something like zero knowledge proofs. And, and I was like, I just, you know, put it in a chat GPT. And I'm like, explain me what this is. I mean, and it, and it gave me something like some advanced thing that I didn't even understand. So I was like, give me something that, that, that you know something like a child could understand
what what you what you're talking about because i didn't understand anything and then it gave me
like uh it gave me like two options for like the alibaba alibaba kv energy and the and the
score snore protocols national uh squall i i keep getting confused uh but uh anyway uh once i heard that uh i'm like whoa this is something interesting like you
know you can prove that you know the I mean just for the sake of isn't it's not if anybody here
doesn't know the Alibaba cave analogy please of zero knowledge proves please go read about it
it's it's a very interesting concept I mean and uh once i once i read that i'm like oh this is
something very interesting i mean like you're saying me that i can like kind of like share
the password without sharing the password and uh kind of like log in do everything do whatever i
want and i'm like okay cool let me let me start experimenting with that and uh i was just uh
experimenting with that and I was just out there making like I was trying to make voting
like a zero knowledge circuit using Circom and like Snark.js with the GROT16 proof setup
and then I'm like okay and I mean thanks to chatpd though because it explained me a lot of things about
zero knowledge i mean that's where i that technically became a teacher of the entire
thing and and i was doing that and i was trying to prove i was trying to prove nft ownership using
zero knowledge circuits and uh and then the reason why i chose uh like-SNARK for my project was that I'm technically first building and deploying on Arbitrum.
And the zero-nullage proofs, especially zero-nullage stocks, proofs are very big.
And gas prices will be a lot.
So ZK-SNARK gives more succinct proof. prices will be a lot so zero zk snarks kind of like gives uh gives a more like like susan proof
like it's in the name succinct uh interactive like arguments of knowledge i think snark says
uh and uh and i to use the plan system because for the growth 16 like you have to use uh like
a truster setup for each and every circuit but i like i i didn't see i
didn't feel the need for i mean plus it's uh i'm creating a lot of circuits for my project and i
want to use trust to search a setup for each uh circuit and the planck is more like hash friendly
so it's kind of like more technically more uh uh or quantum safe than uh growth because growth uses like the bn
1.28 curve i guess bls or bls 256 like this i'm learning a lot as well so sometimes i get confused
and uh yeah i mean that that uh this exploration like made me realize that uh you know like especially like you know in
voting and stuff like that i everything's public on the blockchain because it's being recorded on
the chain and i'm like okay i mean if this was happening in real world money people would not
agree agree i like agree like to to this i'm like okay you know what i will i'm i'll make sure that
where it's necessary i'll implement a zero
knowledge part so that people can do whatever they need and like be happy that their information or
whatever they're voting for their their collateral amount or how much they're mending and stuff that
can be can it's not public information technically yeah and they can just validate people can they
can just support the proof like people can validate their proof and that's and that's good enough for uh uh zero
knowledge part and they can be happy and they can you know kind of like go about their uh like uh
day without uh thinking like oh my god everyone knows my my now kind of like my info information
my my now kind of like my info information yeah i love using zkps as a privacy layer
it's really cool really cool how it works and i guess um according to daniel at Inu Initiative, which, by the way,
they're in the regen coordination round.
so you guys can learn more
about what Inu Initiative is doing.
ZKPs are not new technology,
but it is new to the Web3 ecosystem
loves it all the integrations we need this to happen by the way by the way we
have a thing which we do sometimes at 52 or sometimes 42.
But it is called the Green Pill of the Hour.
So this is where we pick someone from the audience to come up and get green-pilled.
Someone who may not be 100% familiar with the regen ecosystem or what we've got cooking, you know,
in the general vicinity about Gitcoin and things like this. We also want to learn about you and
get you a little bit of a spotlight, right? A little bit of a spotlight. So if you're in the
audience and you're not 100% sure about Green Pill or Gitcoin or the regen movement, please
give us a heart and let's uh let's call upon
someone and there's a bit of a delay otherwise i will pick someone at random all right at the
random okay so hmm mr yugo dev i just shot you a follow and invited you to speak if you're able
to come up here would love to green pill you just in case
you're not already green pill. And if you are, then then we'll just do a little spotlight
regardless. So come up, Mr. Uyugodev, if you can. Otherwise, we will keep on jamming. Friends,
in 20, no, in 14 minutes, I got a meeting with the leader of the Ethiopian One Day Initiative and Guinness World Records.
We're trying to create a new title that can allow for multiple locations to break tree planting world records.
So I'm going to be tuning out from 9 for about half hour.
But until then, friends. Oh wait, did somebody put a heart was it davis hold on oh davis is into
refi he must know about the green pill clean things um okay never mind well we try we try at least
once an hour to green someone come up then that's all man all right get up you know enough yo don't
make us don't make us play les brown uh james you. OK, because we will do it. We will do it.
Yo, I'm trying to check out a grow nation right now.
And it's just it's just approved checkout contract.
I guess they got a bunch of a bunch of experiments happening.
So there's bound to be some hiccups along the way.
Hopefully I can get this next batch of grow nations in.
I see we got a bunch of people from the space in here,
but yeah, Srivantav, it's great to have you here, my friends.
And it's good to, are you familiar with Green Pill
and the whole regen ecosystem? I assume yes, but maybe not Hondo?
I mean, if you would have asked me like, you know, six months ago, I would be like, no,
because I was new to the Gitcoin and Grand ecosystem at that time.
But now I'm like, i'm grateful enough to start
learning and understanding all the things so and also like before i go i need to go have some lunch
i'm very hungry so before i go thank you for all the support thank you for all the questions and
thank you for all the ideas that about everything about the from the yield to uh like everything that is there and uh
also uh happy granating yeah happy groaning friends let's grow let's grow by the way shameless
chill because usually i'm not this shameless about it but tree gens was we got we got we're one day
behind we only just got in uh There was a bit of a delayed acceptance
So if y'all could please please give a grow nation to tree gens
If you want to live in a world where anyone can plant trees and earn a living
That is the future that we are building towards we are tokenizing mangroves with a proof of tree protocol
where 95% of the tree token rewards go directly to the planters on
Their ground so I just planted something up in the garden click see more click the link
please give us a dollar a dark dollar if you're if your heart desires to support
a regenerative future we would really appreciate it really really from the
bottom of my heart we would we would love to get a little bit of support
because we didn't miss the first day, but we're getting a comeback, baby
Every setback is a setup for a comeback and we are coming back to
To create a regenerations future baby. Let's freakin grow. So I also want to recognize we got Valentine joining us up here
He did it. I don't Valentine
Yo, yo, yo feeling good today man how you doing
that's what i like to hear that's what i like to hear i'm feeling good too man
grateful yeah bro i've been i've been playing with ai right i but i see a lot of people posting
ai will take your jobs you know AI will make our kids dumb.
AI is freaking smart, man.
I gave AI, like, I gave AI last night, like, three lines, three rap lines, and AI completed that.
It got so poetic with the lines.
You guys want to hear it? Hell man yo do share yeah if you promise not to laugh by the way i'm knowing i'm knowing me i'm not snoop dogg
yeah well ai is so cool man i okay okay okay okay check it check it stacked up the grants with applause a slave to
the cause humble and praying to the lord still like smart with the laws bear market hit yeah we
saw running through the storms never floored cold in my veins are in pause pushing for change no
remorse web through the waves at the course cheers to geek coin can you imagine that ai wrote that man
it's so freaking cool what llms can do these days
yo how's everyone doing how's awesome yeah yeah yeah it is it is cool it's so cool yeah and then
you can also take that and put it into something like suno just put your own lyrics in and then
it'll give you like a rap
with a rapper and like the music in the background they'll do the whole thing really yeah um what do
you call as suno is that a platform i don't know about it yeah it's a it's a website you get you
can use so many free tokens a month uh as long as you're not using it for commercial purposes
but if you want to like use it to try
to make money you got to pay for the service but if you just want to have fun you get some free
tokens every month oh wow that's quite i don't i'm checking it out now i've seen it ai for creators
that's actually cool do you think some of our top musicians in the current space actually use that
or do you think everyone's like still going old school because i feel like ai
ai might actually have something to do with some of our pop songs our hit songs right now in the
space i have a feeling about that because it's it's just it's that intelligent at the moment
no way i mean it very well could it's um well there people have had access to the technology
earlier just in a general sense um and now that anybody can use it for anything i make
me believe they've been using it for something for a while oh yeah yeah yeah but i i was having
some beers with my friend the other day and he he was talking about how cool AI is, right?
Probably like one of the best technologies
that have ever graced humanity.
But then he said that there's a chance
that AI might make our kids dumber
because our kids might end up having to rely too much on AI as to actually thinking solutions up for themselves.
So the idea is that if it's not used the right way, it would affect the way we think in the future in terms of the new people coming into AI.
And what do you think about that?
Personally, I don't think that's the truth.
about how how it's being used you know because a tool is just a tool right so how it's a knife can
cut it a knife can cut an ingredient it can it can cut a potato but it can also kill someone
right so it's all about how it's being used so like when when i hear that kind of thing i'm like yo like if you want
your kids to to not be dumb you know then teach them how to think and you tell them that ai is a
tool and not their brains right ai shouldn't feel like my brain ai should feel like it too
for what i'm already thinking about right so it's like like there's no need to be scared about that
there's no need to be like yo just it's's no need to be like, you know, just it's all about how we train ourselves with the things that we use.
Like, that's how I see it, by the way.
Well, what do you guys think?
Do you think you think I do think we are in a very, very bad spot with it?
Like you said, people got to learn to use it.
It's not going anywhere, whether we like it or not.
They've always been Luddites. People were afraid of the cotton gin, you know
Oh, no, we're gonna make too much fabric people gonna lose jobs
Those jobs don't exist anymore
But we have other jobs cooler jobs and we have better social movement because people got time to do things other than be slaves and work and die.
They're like, holy crap, we're being treated very poorly. Let's unionize.
It's super quick, it's obviously a tool and it's clearly making us way more capable, but does it make us a little bit dumber?
Like, it depends how you're measuring intelligence, you know, is it in terms of capability or
is it in terms of what you can do without the tool?
Because yeah, like, like just writing, I don't know.
Maybe I was a better writer because like, it's such a crutch, like to, to constantly
with it. I mean, I think it's important to still kind of flex the muscle a little bit of creativity,
of writing and these different things, because, you know, there's some situations obviously where
you're not going to use it. Like, you know, like, yeah, if you're like, if you're commenting,
you're applying, if you're right, if you want to do, you know,
or write a thoughtful message, right, to someone. I don't know if I do want to live in the future
where like every single written response is purely just what an AI says. Then it's just
going to be AIs talking to each other, you know what I mean? Right?
It feels like a computer is talking back to you. I'm not a real human being.
It is, bro. It's mostly's mostly like yeah it's kind of crazy
like company emails are like mostly ai's talking to each other at this point you know yeah you can
put the intention behind it but are you really writing it and then is there going to be a
situation where you know when you when you read the message and you know it's ai it doesn't really
it doesn't give you that feeling as a human being you know it doesn't feel like you know your fellow your fellow man or woman is
talking back to you feels like a robot is talking back to you even if the the text sounds emotional
you know ai can be really smart to generate some emotional looking text but when you know it's from
from a computer and not a human being it kind of feels different so it's like it's all in how it's being used by the way you know me you want to say something shoot man yeah i was just gonna
say i know from my experience with like using ai for writing it seems to want to tell me stories
even when i'm like i'm gonna tell a story and like have you rewrite it it's always like here's all
this extra stuff or these things that didn't happen trying to make things cheery and happy sometimes and i'm like no no we're in a dark dank cavern
and everybody is scared to death because they are dying there's no light at the end of the
tunnel stop stop writing the story damn it it goes overboard with the whole thing right like it just doesn't stop yeah i mean as a programmer i use um i use ai i use ai
a lot and from the days when i didn't i find that it's not it's not that i don't know how to solve
the problem it's that using ai does that faster okay it's like but then i also know that i shouldn't i can't trust ai 100 because you know
as good as you are as good as it is it's still flawed right it still has flaws so i always have
to review what ai does so i tell it okay you um set up this script to perform this particular you
know function or implementation or whatever and generates that, especially when you're using Courser with Cloud Sonnet.
It's so freaking cool when you're using Courser.
But then it might generate something, but it's not 100% perfect.
So that is in no way a threat to me when someone says AI will take your jobs.
Like, yo, anything you build with AI has to be verified by someone who has the expertise in what you're actually doing.
AI doesn't just, it's not an input output type of thing.
It always has to go through processing.
Yo, Mim, your hand's raised up also.
Mim, what's your hand raised?
I didn't actually raise it up this time.
I'll try to put it down. I was out busy
memeing for trees. If you're not aware, tear memes, fun trees. That's what I do.
Yeah. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Good initiative. Good initiative. I think it's just it's just the social media hype and all that i see it i've it's but then there is
um god i i've been looking through applications on gitcoin i there's this one that's really really
interesting that really i'm still looking into it's kiwi i don't know if one of the the managers
are in here but that is a really really good initiative because initiative because the goal for Kiwi is to extract everything that isn't Web3 related from Twitter and kind of isolate that.
That way, if you're a Twitter junkie like I am, you have your own specialized state of content, which is actually very, very cool.
for still looking into it though i like the motive it's it's very nice because you know out here on
twitter is like you want to come in and hear some recent news or updates on on ethereum or
arbitram or whatever and then it's like it's loaded with the meme culture like lots of meme cultures
like i'm trying not to engage with this meme culture i don't know why twitter does that really
because i'm trying not to engage with the mean cultures so i can see the
actual content and reasonable news i need to be seen but then somehow the algorithm just keeps
spamming my timeline with all those and having a tool that can actually clear out down my eyes is
really really cool so shout out to kiwi by the way if you guys are here, big shout out to you. Loving your project, loving the initiative.
By the way, I did find Anu Initiative, and they are in two rounds.
They are in the Good Dollar Builders round, and they are in OSS apps and dApps. So I did give them a shout out on my timeline
and pin their link to their Explorer profiles.
You guys can go check them out too.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
And we're looking for ETH Mobile.
So this is your hosting slot.
I don't have to come in and talk about mine 100%.
I admire a whole lot of other projects in the space.
I see what they are doing.
I'm definitely donating to them as well.
So I figured I'd just give them a big shout out because it's not easy what they are doing. I'm definitely donating to them as well. So I figured I'd just give them a big shout out
because it's not easy what they do.
The effort is very, very admirable.
I've seen some cool projects in the space, man.
There's this project called Varianz.
I think they've gotten the idea that I'm working on,
which is bringing in Web3 into the mobile space.
It's so important due to all the benefits you get
from using your mobile devices as opposed to using desktop.
And then when you really think of the affordability of both,
then you know that mobile will be the way to go.
And having variants, variants.space, by the way, those guys, they are using Flutter to set that up,
make sure that the integration of Web3 into the mobile space is as smooth as possible.
And that is exactly what we are doing at ETH Mobile as well. We are not just, you know,
because when I started this project early last year,
my goal was to actually bring in the DABs,
the popular DABs that we have currently,
that are only supported on the web,
And not just as using the in in-depth browser in your wallet,
but the native mobile experience that you get,
where you get all the sweet benefits of it, right?
But then over time I started thinking,
what if we could be more?
What if ETH Mobile wasn't just a dev tool
that just, that is just being used by developers
What if we serve a greater purpose
of onboarding Web2 developers into Web3?
That way we have more crowd,
we have more creativity in Web3.
And that's what we are focusing on from this point on since um we've already
gone i've gotten an alpha release and we intend to go beyond that a whole lot like far beyond that
to achieve this goal yeah i mean for trees what's up yo meme your your hand your hand is being raised. Is that a bot tap?
Is it down now? I tried to put it down.
No, it's cool. It's cool. It's okay.
Well, yeah, that's basically the idea of what we are doing. We're in the developers, we're in the dev tooling grand round you guys can check
us out scaffold if mobile um yeah we're awesome we're doing we're doing well for ourselves but
yeah um man it's been it's been so great man i always appreciate this these moments we spent
together yo jimmy jimmy are you still up do we still have our meditation rounds when when should i he's in a meeting jimmy's in a meeting
right now oh yeah yeah okay okay it's like nine o'clock where he's at so he's still awake okay
okay cool cool it's like 11 in the morning you're asking about uh meditation sessions
yeah i love those in the last one i mean we can't have them now but you know usually i'd wake up
around like 8 a.m or 7 and i would i'd hop on and he'd always be here most times he'd be alone
because i think he'd be like maybe four or five where he is in the morning so but we'd like put
up like a meditation session be chill it's it's it's it's actually quite it's quite relaxing
to experience i like that but it's good vibes though but um enough about me and eeth mobile
and all that um i'd love to hear about let's grow live because um the the initiative i feel like
there is a like how did it start how How, what was the motive behind it?
How did you guys grow to this point?
Yeah, I'll field this initially, and then other people that have been part of the experience
can kind of weigh in and share their perspective so um back during gg18 there was this uh effort that was put
on by a lot of community members in the bitcoin ecosystem called get coin radio but officially
they couldn't call it get coin radio because it wasn't um it wasn't sponsored by Gitcoin, right? But yeah, it was 24-7 broadcast inspired by my first community of Web3 called the Social Bees DAO.
And what we did as a community effort after we minted our first generative collection of NFTs.
We went to the Spaces Airwaves
and did a 24, 7, 15 day space
as a community growth mechanism
and looking for innovators and collaborators
to join and be part of our community
that we could partner with,
that we had synergy with and things of that nature.
Then we kind of took a break, but there were some of us
that we were using that environment to hone our skills
for public speaking, for what is now social broadcasting,
So there was at least, I believe, nine or ten of us who spun out our own brands in the Web3 universe.
And to this day, only two that I know of, well, no, I'll tell you that three of those brands are still active, right, that are hosting their own shows.
They have their own content.
One of those is the one that I run
called Kingfisher's Corner,
which has been running spaces for over three years now.
And another one is called Geezers and Crypto.
You'll probably hear about them later on today.
And then another one is Wellness Wednesdays
with Sendijan, who was in here last
night she owes that one but anyways that was the inspiration part right so let's grow live
specifically we're in our fourth iteration starting with gg20 and um yeah it's just a way that you
know we can get to learn about all the amazing work that's being done in the
get coin ecosystem but more importantly we can connect we can make real meaningful connections
we can identify synergies between different uh efforts that people are doing and it really is
just like this beautiful online networking social um experience that people can tap into anytime, anywhere around the world.
Yeah, and Gitcoin Radio would have been a really good name, by the way.
Yeah, it was a good name, but unfortunately, yeah, you got to get permission first before you start mentioning other people's brands.
Yeah, true, true, true, true.
But so far, so good, right?
Like everything's been amazing since then.
We've got a massive community now still growing, right?
Yeah, and thank you for your feedback
because every iteration right um and we're still kind of experimenting with it but every iteration
we like throw a new little wrinkle into the mix to see you know how like to basically test our
skill sets i guess is the best way to do it. But also because it is the flagship service from Let's Grow Dow,
and Let's Grow Dow was spun up by nine of us, myself, Jimmy,
I believe Guru is in here under Regen Build,
Utkarsh from Earth, Pranav, who's part of CCN.
I guess it's called the Coconut Ecosystem now.
So there's nine of us came together.
I saw Jerry earlier in the space.
Jerry WTF. But, but yeah none of us got
together and said hey let's spin up a dow and let's make the mission of the dow to grow the
refi and the regen movement so here we are yeah here we are yeah it's so cool man like the the
journey to like to build something to build a community it's it's it's never
an easy one because um you know in the beginning it's like oh did you guys have it easy yeah was
it easier for you because you are directly connected to gitcoin or did you well at some
point we're not directly connected to gitcoin but we have done some work on behalf of get coin like
the gg23 onboarding education program um yeah but we're supportive and we're all
the majority of us have had some skin in the game at some point or another with the
get coin ecosystem right um so there there's that connectivity um so I don't say that it was easy for us.
We did see some very explosive growth right off the bat.
But we have had to kind of, you know, identify, like, the inner workings of the DAO and how it can be more efficient in our workflows, right?
Because understand, we all are working on this async, and it's on a, you know, it's
on an on-demand time basis, right?
So we all have our own initiatives. We have our own projects.
We have other communities we're connected to.
And so, yeah, it's when the time is available
and it's, you know, what the workflow is.
We do have a weekly sync meeting that we do.
So anybody who holds the voting governance token,
is invited to those meetings.
And we just discussed, you know,
what does the path forward look like for Let's Grow Now?
And how can we continue to grow the community right now?
If you count the mints on our manifesto,
our manifest grow now, a new vocabulary word.
Yep, you guys better learn that
because next week when the growth yeah they're gonna start yeah yeah yeah but
anyways so the manifest grow if you look at those minutes it's over 600 in terms
of community sizing right but people that are actually actively working in
the Dow doing things on behalf of the
DAO it's a lot smaller than that but but we are putting together a onboarding handbook so everybody
once that's published everybody can understand how they can participate in the DAO if they want
to right and another mechanism that we're experimenting with, too,
is because we're in Charmverse for our community gathering place.
Well, we got probably too many different Telegram groups to manage effectively.
We probably should trim those up.
But after, you know, Let's Grow Live, this edition's over with.
We'll take a look at that
but another thing we're doing is we're doing um we're experimenting with the bounty program
inside the dow where community members who are community contributors can pick up an item like
a task right that's related to a to-do that's related to an overall goal and if they complete that task on behalf
of the DAO then they can apply for a reward in the growth tokens which is the
utility token of the DAO but it also has some influence in who has access to
certain voting rights inside of Charmverse so
voting rates inside of chambers so
oh nice the grow tokens yeah we have the grow token and then we have the lgd or the let's grow
now token yeah like managers and stuff to restrict meeting attention like for the managers the the
the people who like make the main decisions the DAO managers and stuff
the LGV LGD is a voting governance token yeah and our DAO is a Moloch DAO and we are um our voting
governance platform for like proposals that are going to access the treasury that's where the LGD
token comes in with its influence is in the voting of those
proposals and that's all done on dow house
there's a whole lot of setup to make this work and you and at which point did you decide that
it had to be 24 hours or like did you decide yo we are chat we are chunking down this coffee for two so for two down weeks just to keep this here
just to keep this alive well i mean it's it's a community effort and it runs
synchronous with the rounds right so that's the rationale for the 15-day effort
yeah yeah yeah it's it's it's a very very good initiative man it's really cool
i had my idea but like well then you guys you guys do you guys do what you do and you do it
really well because growing a community is it's one thing to have a good idea it's one thing to
have a good product but then having an active community people who are willing to actually
listen to you to even criticize you say yo i'd
prefer i mean i like what you're doing but i prefer you do this better like having that
that space around you having this much people come in and support it's
it's really really good man you guys have you guys have done really well
we're keeping we're keeping itcoin alive just by being here you know
have enough active contributors in the community
um that we can turn this into a full-time like you know regen public goods 24 7 broadcast that
can remain on the air all the time and anybody can tap in at any point in time no matter what it just doesn't
have the around get coin seasons now that's a lot of work to pull off first off i will be one of the
first to admit that um we also have the constraints in the platform that we have to consider as well
um we all know about the stability of x spaces so yeah it'll happen in time but you know that's
maybe more on the two to five year road map rather than the six month road map if you if that makes
sense oh yeah well the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step doesn't it
amen amen man it's a game of patience
but it's cool man it's cool yo i've got 12 minutes left if anyone has any questions on
eath mobile and what we are doing feel free to ask always i'm always here to entertain your
questions and um check us out in gitcoin grand Rounds, DevTooling, ScarfudEeth Mobile, right next to ScarfudEeth.
We exist for the community.
Do you want to plant a link in the garden?
Yeah, I will. I will. Let me pull that up real quick.
And you're in the African continent, yeah?
Yeah, I had a conversation with someone who's close to Nigeria.
I can't remember the name of the country.
It's on the west coast of Africa.
And yeah, he said 20-minute bus ride.
But anyways, I was having a conversation with him last week.
And it's very interesting what he was telling me
that everything pretty much on the African continent,
if you're a builder, you have to think about mobile first rather than web first, because there's a lot more mobile device activity and accessibility on the African continent than pretty much anywhere else in the world.
Because think about it. Nigeria is a third world country.
Now, there are people that are doing so well for themselves that they can afford the best gadgets
to interact with all these platforms that are coming out. But then there are also the others
who are really interested in the space, who hear a lot about it.
They hear people coming out so successful in the space, and they want to hop in on the space.
But then the barrier of entry is steep.
When they have to think of getting a desktop or a laptop to interact with these protocols and you know to make those decisions
it starts to feel like weights and in in a play in africa i will i won't say i won't speak
generally for the old continent but i'm in nigeria so i would say for nigeria to really really get
the best audience like to get the most the most audience would prefer to have a mobile experience because then it's just so much easier to interact.
It's so much easier to engage with anything in the space.
I'm sure I have my Nigerian brothers over here.
If you have something else to say on it, feel free.
But then that's what I saw. I realized that the source of all these amazing tools
seems so comfortable with having it on the desktop.
But then from where I am, I see people who are interested in it,
but then the barrier is just too much for them they just can't get through
so my goal my goal is to come is to just reduce that barriers to make sure that they
they have that onboarding process so smooth and easy they don't have to think too hard about
you know yo how do i save up to get the laptop just to just to freaking open up the wallets and interact with this
protocol you know to engage with this community no no no no just like you get get a phone download
the app and set up your wallet in app you know and then that's it you're in straight up you know you
could tell your friend to fund you you could fund yourself from a centralized exchange but then just
like that just by downloading an app you already set up
your wallet and that's it you're good to go right like congratulations you're in web3 you
know you don't have to download metamask you know
I gave a follow-up from a crypto wallet.
You members, you know, one of the first comments Austin Griffiths said was that the confirm your seed phrase bit of that onboarding process is steep.
When I see my seed phrase and I have to input it back again to confirm,
to confirm that I actually remembered it and I copied it down somewhere.
And he said something really smart too.
I love talking to Austin Griffith. He's a steep process. And he said something really smart too. I love talking to Austin Griffith.
you really only need to know your seed phrase
when you have money in it.
That's when it's important.
When you have money in it,
that's when you need to know your seed phrase.
it's just 12 words sitting on your paper, chilling.
If you could create a model that will alert the owner of that seed phrase
to really think about that seed phrase.
The moment money comes in,
then that's when it's important to go through that.
At that point, it becomes important
to actually confirm your seed phrase and do all that.
And this is just the seed phrase bit of it.
There's a whole lot more, right?
There's a whole lot more.
If you've worked with've if you've worked
with um if you've used a web app like avi or uniswap on mobile with your mobile browser and
you're trying to sign a message or even to connect the wallet right what would happen is you click
on connect and it opens up another app which is your wallet app to connect and then when it opens up another app, which is your wallet app, to connect. And then when it opens up the app, you have to authenticate the app,
and then you have to wait for the connect modal to pop up,
and then it pops up after like, what, five, ten seconds,
depending on the performance, and then you connect,
and then you go through that whole process again for signing.
You know, like, it's not that it doesn't work.
It's that it's not as efficient. The user experience can be improved and we have to work on that. If we are trying to bring more people into this space, we can't think of everybody that is in this space that they want to go through any inconvenience just to get in there
you know we have to simplify the hell out of the process and i believe that that's that's my
initiative that's what i believe would really really foster growth in the web3 space and that's
what i'm aiming at yeah that's why i'm a big fan of your work i'm a big fan of what carl is building
Yeah, that's why I'm a big fan of your work. I'm a big fan of what Carla's building. I'm proud of what we've built through KF Media. Because in partnership now, understand I'm not a dev. I don't push code. I'm a solutions architect. So I find tools and solutions out there and then stitch them together in such fashion that it creates a new solution, right?
Yeah, so what we've done in our partnership with Citizen Wallet, because they already had a wallet that they were working on,
and we kind of got involved in their community and kind of saw on the back end what they're building.
So it allowed them to experiment for the first time with an ERC-11-5, allowed us to kind of hack a bypass to the financial system as the entry point into Web3, right?
So, Tom, by the way, you heard it here on these airwaves, soon to be, and it's already branded, and we have first rights usage in a social setting, Pathways for Global Adoption.
What the user experience is, is they download the Citizen Wallet, they join our community, and then when they join our community, they receive a voucher, right?
And what that voucher is good for is it's redeemable for access to our learning center.
Right now, we do have a token-gated learning center because we're building out the content in there, right?
And we want to protect the user experiences as much as possible and give them a variety of options they can choose from
because the learning center is designed to be
a customizable learning journey, right?
So, yeah, it's pretty cool.
The people that are working on the edge of adoption,
that are working towards simplicity,
that understand the complexities of the adoption process
and are making things really easy for people to get
involved with web 3 for sure
yeah I said so it's that's you call it the system wallets or decoder again so
no citizen citizen wallet citizen wall yeah they're probably in the Dapps and
apps round if I'm not mistaken so what they
did is they did an experimentation at the um common tub in brussels with a project called
brussels pay and what they've been able to accomplish through that life cycle is they have a wristband that has an nfc chip in it and all you do is tap the
tap the nfc to an nfc you know the um the bracelet to a reader and the reader will automatically
debit the wallet through the nfc connectivity um that's stored on like your mobile device right so
that's stored on like your mobile device.
That sounds something I really like to go into.
It is live for experimentation right now.
They're continuing to build of that.
So yeah, it's kind of like if you know about it,
you can get involved with it and have
conversations with the dev team and their community calls, which they hold once a month.
And you can bring forth like, hey, have you guys ever thought about this use case?
Like we kind of did, right?
So I feel at one point here, I don't know, probably the next six months to a year or whatever, it'll become
I'm hoping on now to check those out.
I actually like the idea because anything I can see to improve the web free space and
to even improve the quality of my my product as well i love the i
love the idea it's like um having the bracelet and stuff yeah i mean i can make an intro for you
just get on my dms and i'll let you know when the next community call they hold all their
community calls in discord but sometimes if discord's not working right they'll do a google meet but yeah super easy
to get involved with what they're doing yeah sure will just to jump in about the citizen wallet do
you know if you can make a transaction by doing a handshake with another person wearing a wallet
I don't know that they've gotten that far in the process yet.
i don't know that they've gotten that far in the process yet
Well, I had a question for Valentine.
This is Regent Avocado speaking on behalf of Refi Mediterranean.
But I know Nigeria is a culturally diverse place.
Where in Nigeria are you?
I'm in the east, actually. i'm in the um i'm in the east actually
yeah i'm in the southeast okay uh is that igbo people yeah the igbos yeah okay i i studied uh
yoruba in in college in uh in the us but never found anybody to speak yoruba with but uh wow
if you have come down to Nigeria go to Lagos
if you go to Lagos you'd speak it a lot man you get tired of speaking it of course of
course but I mean this was years ago so I think uh I'm opening up the horizons but it is interesting
you know mentioning the the mobile first aspect and I you know, the it's almost like a leapfrog moment. And if you go to Asia, Africa,
Latin America, it is mobile first
and it represents, you know,
And here, just to speak briefly
on the ReFi Mediterranean project,
because we are we are bringing together
the local refi nodes within our bio
the biophysical, biological features.
And while we have representation mostly in Southern Europe, Spain, Portugal, Italy,
we have a member in Turkey, and now France, as well as Croatia. So we are, this is like our second iteration. And so figuring out how do we go outside of the European or like European sphere of influence
and find more adoption and partners in Northern Africa.
And so I think that's something that I think a lot about.
And because it is different needs, different environment, but we are connected through, for example,
So yeah, it's interesting to hear other,
like how do we cross that bridge?
How do we make it more inclusive
and easier for people to onboard?
So always excited to hear other insights.
So thank you for sharing.
Yeah, I'm glad you shared the same vision, man. And I respect you though, because you did something really cool right there. Because people who usually say Igbo, they don't pronounce it as well as you
did. And you don't even have a native accent. So that's actually much, it deserves my respect right there. Because people say that.
Well, I mean, we forget how diverse.
You went to a really good school, didn't you?
Which school did you go to?
I went to the University of Florida.
But I'll tell you a funny anecdote
about that class. Because I'm a you a funny anecdote about that because I'm a
Caucasian guy right and so I'm in this Yoruba class and it's all the
African American like football basketball players.
Yeah I don't know I think because they think maybe they have some like nigerian ancestors they can speak it but no it was it was it was really bad i can imagine the atmosphere why it must have been cold
being in there yeah it was interesting because you'd have somebody who was like a national
championship sitting in front of you and uh they wouldn't know the answer to the question and so
i'd have to come in for the layup but uh but beautiful
beautiful thing about this like we are we always accommodate you know different cultures we
accommodate you know we we have no problems with that it's like it's like cool it's just you know
you'd be different because accent and everything well man you did you did it i can already feel
it i already feel it man like can already feel it, man.
It's in the confidence you express yourself with it.
Speaking of localized community efforts,
I do want to welcome our next host to the space.
DeCleanup, organizing decentralized cleanups in their local community.
Yeah, definitely we started as cleanup organizers.
We were incubated in Greentail Van Gaan chapter chapter where basically we were testing this system and
just encouraging people to organize clean-ups around the world and rewarding them with
some log protocol certificates and that's the way we started to build the community.
We were also big supporters of monthly earnstays by our friend Tyler highly artistic. And we still are, we believe that it's important
to bring something constant every month
to support this movement.
I know many people are cleaning up more often or more well,
but this is the minimum we could do once a month.
And that we slowly grew to developing our first step on arbitrary chain
a little bit loud over here okay um yeah an arbitrary thing and it was very in detail people
just submit the photo cleanup wait for verification and receive
at the end this enough input product which is our collection of dynamic nfts growing
level by level clean up by cleanup until 10 level 10. so each NFT basically had tied to it the impact value and the TCU points. So that was about it.
And the verification also was admin based, which we found is a big disadvantage. So now from about January, end of January,
we are working on developing version 2.1
and we grew through the open source building.
We found it very challenging to find a developer
As you know, I'm working with Cole and we were doing a lot of research
and trying to find a developer who will be ready to work with us on a low reward that
was made. And it didn't work. So we came across this wonderful platform called OnlyDust.com, where we started to participate
in a monthly hackathon, where lots of contributors are taking their pictures on GitHub and trying
So far, we accomplished three hackathons and we have heard quite a lot of contributors.
I think at this stage 32 active contributors and 42 PRs were merged during this time. big step in our development process and big step forward because
yeah we were basically stuck we got all the
application system ready but we already managed to actually build it so So, thankfully, thanks to only us, we also found three project maintainers who are coming
with us already for the first time and they're successfully reviewing their full request
and making sure they're developing this point.
And actually they're also all from Nigeria.
I'm very grateful to them.
I don't know if my friend James came.
I was invited him to talk a little bit about how you can actually make money being the open source developer.
Because only this platform rewards the contributors. They can get rewarded from the project that they contributed to,
or from the ecosystem that is interested in developing apps on their chain.
Like recently, Stellar ecosystem rewarded three of our contributors
because we have Stellar on our mind as well.
For the version 2.1, we want to improve the verification. It is
turning from the admin to the theme. I'm guessing all the contributors will become the theme
in the first iteration. And then we're also improving the proof of impact system because before it was based on one picture
one photo of cleanup result which you know can be easily fabricated or i don't know but now we're
asking the people to submit photos before and after the cleanup which already makes it a little bit challenging for the symbols
And then we're keeping the NFT collection for now at the 10 levels, but each of the
NFC now has this new points written in the contract. I don't know how to technically explain it,
but first the users are gathering the points in the system and after the token generation event,
that we have in mind to launch the DCU token pretty soon, after the token generation event,
they will be able to claim the token the tokens will not
have liquidity in the beginning we want to motivate the community not in financial ways first but of
course we are working on the background on how to bring liquidity and how to make it actually profitable to go and do cleanups every day.
And what else we're improving? We developed a dashboard. So now when you access the platform,
you will be able to see all your statistics, you see your current level, and you see how many the viewpoints you've covered and all that. And new gamifying features are on the way, which is great.
So now if a person applies one time during a week,
they automatically are getting additional viewpoints.
And as well, referral system.
Now you can invite all your friends to the cleanup application and cover the additional
We didn't deploy the test version yet.
I think now we are at the state of connecting frontend with the smart contracts and parallel
Exciting, exciting about the future because it was our dream to deliver the apps,
but it was never achievable to find the developer.
And now open source gives us this opportunity to actually build and enough to stuff.
Maybe it's coming slow, but yeah, we have the big roadmap planned
and eventually we are expanding to multi-series.
And in the version 2.2, we will have already the collaborative cleanups called Impact
Surfaces, where people can download their sources at their locations and do their massive
Plus, we have plans for staking and locking features of the CU token, which will automatically allow people to become verifiers in the system.
And later on, you might see some ambassador programs and more of the tools to keep people on board others at this course.
Yeah, just a quick breath. Have you seen before the only task platform?
I highly encourage you, if you're a developer, to register there and participate.
Because you can actually make a living.
I know a few successful stories.
I met a girl Charlotte from Copangana and she came to OnlyDask without even the knowledge of developers.
And she trained herself pretty much within one year
started to collect the issues from the projects and successfully accomplishing them
and that's how she makes her living
It seems like I have to talk alone. Nobody wants to talk to me.
No, it's not good. It's not good. Any questions from the panel?
I'm just kind of looking into the cleanup to get a better idea of it.
Self, could you explain this in depth? Because I kind of lost to what you said.
It says to self-tokenize real-world impact. How does that work internally?
Yeah, basically the users complete the cleanup and they take a picture before and after and
they can submit it to the platform, wait for verification and then receive their tokenized
cleanup effort result, which is our D-cleanup impact product NFT collection. It's growing from
level 1st to the level 10 depending on the amount of cleanups they did and these NFTs have the DCU
points tied to it which will be exchangeable to the DCU token when we launch it.
And you can test now the version one on Arbitrum, but I'm not quite happy with the contract
because it's written in the way that most of the transactions are done by the Admin wallet.
And it's not the way how our ecosystems like to judge the transaction metrics. So we are totally remodeling this.
Now users will have a lot of signing transactions and the gas transactions to mint this dynamic
declina-up impact product.
And in the future, we will have also the fee to create the campaign.
So we are working on the transactions metrics and on the impact metrics as well.
Maybe in this version, they will not be so perfect because, you know, AI is getting better and better in generating images. So we are additionally developing improved impact metrics
So it's real world impact.
So I imagine you have a way to verify the efforts
of each individual that applies.
How would you be certain that this person that submits,
that says that I did this, actually did that?
How would your verification method be?
In this version, we are planning to accept photos with the geotechs.
If the geotechs are not available, the photos will be not accepted.
And the geotechs will also make more sense for the cleanup campaign, because, you know,
the people are saying, okay, we are cleaning up today in Lagos, let's say.
And we are going to check from the submissions if the cleanup photos really belong to Lagos location.
Oh, sorry, I didn't get that.
So did you say Dio? I don't know if it's your mic, I couldn't get that clearly.
I think I heard something about, was it Lagos?
Yeah, I'm bringing Nigeria as a temple. Okay, okay, okay.
I just wanted to be sure.
Oh, it's cool, it's cool.
Does anyone see James in the audience? Because I don't see all the listeners.
I don't see James, but I see Paul.
I can find him up to speak.
Paul wants to speak about us.
I also want to say that Region Bazaar successfully entered the OSS round as well.
And how it makes sense to decline up.
When we integrate with Region BBazaar Input Marketplace, all the owners of the CleanMap Input Product will be able to stake them in RegenBazaar and get the rewards in the native token Reba.
If Paul wants to tell us more about RegenBazaar that will be paid, I will share some links also to the region bazaar application
sorry paul was on stage but i don't know that he is anymore, but we do have James
James is still connecting
And connecting and connecting I
No, we're talking about a different james. Sorry
Oh, hello james you're still here also nice to see you
It's always good to be here. I am busy in real life. I'm gonna make the time to stop in
Yeah, James Victor is having some connection issues, so
It's growing on there James James was our first
Contributor that decided to actually jump on the team.
And he said he was very happy to contribute to the real world impact project.
And now he's managing our content.
That means he actually reviews the contributions from others and make sure everything works in the code.
All right, he finally got connected and Paul's on stage as well.
Yeah, hello everyone. I just have some connection problem. Do you hear me well?
We got you,ul go ahead yeah okay i just i don't know i hear my uh greetings before but nice to see everyone here on space and a long time miss miss a lot so from my side uh yeah we're participating gitcoin in 23 and glad to have this time two
weeks of showing ahead and a lot of projects and we have um let's say startups or new projects
under um open source section and we participate with the region bazaar first time and for us
that's important that's also sign that's uh um our attempt to build open to build proper open source
development for our team it's uh slowly by steady reach the goal so we're glad to participate in
this round and welcome to check our project and support us vote for us and we also have
the clean up as illumina mentioned before uh under that the same
section that also great to have uh and it's a nice milestone for us uh we also as ecosynthesis x as
the webtee public good studio who is uh working on crypto economics and design uh crypto uh
infrastructure to implement on ground to make real world impact and particularly
to build this infrastructure and the impact product concept for non-profits for working on
ground it's our field of scientific approach and the place where we try to put our minds to deliver
the place where we try to put our minds to deliver, we believe in good output for nonprofits as well.
So, one more issue for me.
So, we're also in coordination round with Reply Pangan,
and we're working currently on proposals to announce,
proposals to announce, public announced about funding for
circle economy pilot on Pangan based on precious plastic
way and path. They did a lot. So it basically, to build and have this example of proper regenerative
approach for economy when the West that produced that was that we can use
proper plastic can be recycled and products that people then can buy can be produced from it so
we really want to have it here and we did research about machines about the budget aluminum work on the budget as well
and we have Magnus supporting us here on pangan one month or months and help with this so we
were pretty fully present on Gitcoin 23 welcome to check our, our activity and support us as well.
So, one more time I want to say that it's good to be here and glad to see your faces.
Many people I know from real life, you might visit Pangan or we might meet each other on Defcon in Bangkok or maybe in Chiang Mai whatever I just want to share that
my human soul just glad to be here and glad to be in touch with you whenever it's in real life
or it's online so I'm ready to speak go maybe you have questions or maybe you there is someone next for stage so open whenever jump let's discuss uh
glad to be here and spend some time thank you for this opportunity yeah if james victor is audible i
think uh d cleanup was kind of flipping the mic to them as well so james are you with us james victor
Okay, thanks everyone can hear me.
Okay, thank you for having me.
Thank you, Anastasia, Will, and Paul, I can see you all on stage. Thank you for having me. I've been on this last few hours on this call yesterday throughout listening to amazing speakers talk about what they're building, what they're doing in the open system, and it's really interesting. So just like Anastasia said before I joined, I'm the
front-end lead and the maintainer for the cleanup. So the cleanup is open source project and
my experience with open source projects so far especially with the cleanup has been interesting
and really really amazing because open source it kind of gives you the leverage to work on
other people's idea key into what they think and the problem they're solving so i'm a big user of open source i am a big contributor
of open source and people keep asking me why do i love contributing to open source and i tell them
that open source is one of the easiest way as a uh so this i'm coming from a developer's point of view. Open source is one of the easiest way as a developer,
you can get experience and learn more about projects
and what the Web3 ecosystem is all about.
And learning the clean up,
which is open source for that we're working on,
It's really, really it's it's really it's really really amazing because
it shows goes on to shows uh what are the power of open source yes over the years we've been on i
don't know if uh anesthesia said said it uh we've been on uh only doors which is uh it's an open
source platform where uh contributors get platform where contributors get to
contributors get to contribute to amazing projects.
And we've been in there, we've been able to,
people have been able to contribute to what the cleanup is.
And currently we are at a stage where we're almost done
I just, we just need some final touches
to make everything complete.
So yeah, it's been really amazing, really, really amazing.
And one thing again, I'll say, one thing again
about open source projects, especially, again,
especially in the Web3 ecosystem, it gives you leverage
to learn more and more about what Web3 is all about because
when I first turned into Web3 as a developer there are a lot of things that were clear to me
but when I started contributing and building open source projects and solving on projects okay I worked on projects like I never
knew I never had a year we were impact can be taken nice all I knew was that
yes the condition in on the tree and what tokenization is all about is about
tokenizing real-world asset well open source give me the leverage to understand that yes, in as much as you can tokenize real world assets, you can also tokenize real world impact.
Isn't that amazing and interesting to learn that, okay, I can do something and still tokenize that stuff on chain so I was like I was like when I first came across the
clean of ours I was like oh let me let me just let me check it up what these guys
are doing and check out how can we will be tokenized on when I jumped on the
project and did more research and I find that that aside from tokenizing real world impact you're actually solving one of uh sdg's
uh a problem which is keeping the environment clean because when you tokenize reward impact
when you make people to do stuff that are cleaning up their environment and uh posting these impacts
online you're actually making them solve, knowingly and unknowingly,
solving one of SZG's biggest problem,
which is making the environment
and keeping the environment clean.
So it was really amazing.
And it's been a long, long ride with the cleanup.
with the cleanup and again i can say we we're really happy to be on this uh a gitcoin uh ggd
And I can say we're really happy to be on this
23 round so yeah for all for for open source builders in the room um i'm ready to um i'm willing
and able to collect to connect and i'm open to connecting with anybody who is who is just like me who is who is passionate about open source passionate about um
about making impact through open source projects yeah so uh thank you uh for now i guess i will be
i'll be here listening and anyone if anyone has a question uh i'm waiting to answer. Thank you all.
Yes, thank you. Thank you, James, for coming and sharing your view.
And encouraging people to actually come and contribute
on the VDAS platform, because it's really awesome how
they do these hacks every month and we
move significantly forward with this platform.
I also want to say big thanks to Macek who supported our real cleanup in Bangkok during
It was a big start and he's always reposting and sharing our links
Anything else you want the listening audience to know, Anastasia, about the cleanup?
I want to know that we are encouraging Greenfield chapters and the five local nodes to do once
a month cleanup and submit their efforts.
But I will be promoting these initiatives more when we will have working second version.
Yeah, stay tuned for updates.
Thank you very much. Calling RegenBuild to the stage.
RegenBuild, please report to the stage for your hosting slot.
Yeah, I just wanted to say I have to hop off
and go deal with the rest of my daily tasks.
It's been an amazing time with you all
chit-chatting about life, chit-chatting about projects.
And keep growing. Thank you. Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru Guru morning my friend nice to be here friends um yeah it's been uh yeah how how how's the day been so
far it's we're almost at yeah 24 hours since we started i was around for a bit yesterday
but yeah how's the energy looking i think this year I think this year we've already seen a lot more people than what it was last year.
And by the way, this is only the beginning.
We're about to connect three more channel partners that collectively have more than 100,000 followers between them.
And so we're about to grow
It's good man, it's a vibe it's a vibe
And I'm really pushing for this longest continual spaces
We had a bit of hiccups there with the spaces rugs, but we are hopefully gonna get that fixed.
Will T, are you still on your computer from the Let's Grow account?
Are you still in the Let's Grow account?
Yeah, so remember when you came on last night the challenge we
spoke about yeah yeah so evidently we got a good handshake because it did uh it did interrupt
service on my side but you kept it growing and then when i heard your call to action of like
hey the whole computer just froze up on me. I can't do anything right now.
I'm like, okay, let me go log in.
Let me see what's going on.
So we've had two connected for a while now.
I refreshed my page and then reconnected to the space.
a couple hours since you put out that CTA.
So maybe X doesn't mind having so nice yeah and what now a couple hours since you put out that CTA so yeah yeah
so maybe maybe X doesn't mind having two people signed into the same spaces I
think that's the limit right so when we have other stewards rotating in if
they're rotating in behind the LGD account then we just need
to make sure we only have one active session going and we also need to make
sure that multiple people are not trying to access the account simultaneously or
it'll send a bot signal to X and then our account gets suspended and then we
can't do these beautiful conversations like we're doing right now yeah I think
it's just I think suspicious the times is when they try too many times.
I mean, they got the wrong password and then.
Well, I've also made some of them, some delegate accounts and.
Uh, we had to remove your dog at access.
So if you have a need to log into the, LGD account directly you have to get that
with tree gens or me later on today good right yeah I think I'm logged in on one
of my phones so yeah it should be good stewarding is not allowed on phones we're
pretty clear on that in the steward chat. Are you in the steward chat? Yeah, is it why do we have the old one or do we have a
Have a GG 20 we're supposed to wind down last round. This is a we have a new one this round
There's no reason for all the old stewards to be notified every time, right?
Okay, so we'll wind down that TG. Yeah, this is winded down. Feel free to. Are you an admin?
I don't know I can check I
Will check it a check that yo guru. What's what's happening with regen build my guy? What's the latest? What's the greatest? You're building?
Building yeah, yo, I gotta I got a screwdriver on stream. We are building yo anyone who wants to come on video
I'm at link. let's grow dot network
slash video that is linked out let's go to our network slash video everyone is
welcome to come on we are broadcasting everywhere get on up okay sorry back to
you guru yeah give us the latest and greatest yeah so right now with region
build yeah the roadmap the way it's, we're working on a bunch of things.
One is, you know, we're almost ready to finalize the framework.
So that's, that deals with the how of, you know, what to measure and yeah, how to deal with built environment regeneration.
Like what principles do you apply and you know how do
you go about that making it happen in reality um so yeah it's been we've been doing some research
on that um so yeah we're actually i'm very happy that you know it was a very hard problem to solve because you don't want homogeneity in terms of you know
having projects to apply the same rules in different parts of the world we wanted to be
tailored to each region and the local circumstances so yeah but if we also have to build a market
the goal we're not here to you know just get building
certified right like we want to build a regenerative economy and if we have to build a
regenerative economy we have to build a market where you know these assets that represent you
know positive externalities in buildings have a value in the market so it needs to be homogeneous at
the market level but really pluralistic at the local level so yeah like trying to bridge this
cosmo local uh yeah need and like how do you communicate that in the right way so the markets pick it up easily that's been yeah the core challenge of you
know what we've been up to the last yeah one and a half years and yeah i think we're yeah still
have to publish the final article about it we've been like doing it in tranches. So yeah, we've done four until now and then the last one I think is going to conclude it.
And yeah, after that we want to run a pilot.
So yeah, that's just one part of what we've been doing.
But yeah, there's like a few more things.
We want to build a quest.
We want to build a quest we want to build a knowledge base and
yeah there's yeah multiple things if we want to go into that building yeah so
break it down for us what percentage of carbon emissions globally comes from Um, roughly it's about 40%. 40. Yeah.
If you include all the steam and cement and concrete that go into buildings.
Because yeah, the construction, I mean, the manufacturing processes for those use a lot
of coal and non-renewable sources of energy.
So yeah, just those two combined it's roughly like 12% of the 40.
The rest 28 is like the actual operational carbon emissions and
yeah roughly 12% is yeah just steel and cement that's crazy that is crazy but
it's yeah that's an opportunity to make a massive impact you know like question is there mrv for a real estate
developer to get carbon credits by being more sustainable um i would think so carbon credits so
the the construction industry has like traditionally traditionally relied on green building certifications instead of MRV. So that's more been the norm instead of creating carbon credits. But I haven't seen anyone. No, I have actually seen a couple of startups working on this problem of you know creating carbon credits from buildings
maybe Vera has a methodology I'm not exactly sure but yeah we want to be more
holistic right so not just count carbon emissions but also all the other
positive externalities such as saving energy, saving water, minimizing waste, using local materials, optimizing for human health, optimizing for biodiversity.
So, yeah, there are all these facets to built environment that we want to capture.
Yeah, so it's multidimensional that way.
And what we're trying to do is disrupt the traditional green building certification systems
and create a decentralized version of those which are tailored and which are which are
pushing the boundary to pursue regeneration instead of just net zero or sustainable goals
sustainable goals. Hell yeah. I love it. Super cool, man. I mean, because like, dude, if it's 40%
of all carbon emissions globally, let's say optimistically, I don't know if this is a wild
stab in the dark, but we need a better expression, a wild guess. Let's say you could reduce construction emissions by 10%, right?
That's 4% of all global emissions. That is very significant, you know what I mean?
And if they can get carbon credits, like green certifications are great.
I love biodiversity credits, and I really hope that becomes more of a thing over time.
But right now, like, the carbon industry is kind of established, and therefore, it would make a lot of sense if MRV became accessible, right, measuring, reporting, verification,
for those who aren't too familiar,
to then claim carbon credits to become more sustainable.
And then a lot more people will start to switch
to the more sustainable ways of building, right?
So I really hope that it starts to exist.
Now, let's say hypothetically,
I'm trying to build like a apartment complex, right?
What roughly, if you were to guesstimate or approximate,
what percentage of emissions could be optimized, reduced?
Is it even 20 or is it more like five?
What do you think is actually possible by switching over to,
let's say, where you're starting to use like bamboo bamboo or I don't know, more sustainable cement, right?
Like what are we talking about here in terms of let's stick to carbon just for now?
So, yeah, the thing about construction is, you know, the construction methods vary vastly depending on where your project is so in the us it's yeah
the apartments are mostly and not apartments the individual homes are wood based instead of cement
based the majority of it but whereas in india it's carbon i mean it's cement and concrete based
carbon I mean it's cement and concrete based Europe also is mostly concrete based yeah US
also use steel in some of the high rise buildings so yeah it's like quite broad in terms of what is
socially acceptable because it's it's a thing about safety you know even if you want to use
local materials or yeah things that have low carbon
footprint people still are not comfortable uh if you're trying to pitch to a client and try to
convince them let's try this new material that we have which has like way less carbon footprint it's
it still takes time for them to buy into that because you know they need to see real results
of someone else trying this tech and working for a prolonged period of time say five years ten years
because you know they don't want to rebuild something it's costly buildings are costly and
yeah so yeah to answer the question it depends on where the project is.
And, yeah, there's, like, a lot of options for you to reduce your carbon footprint.
I would say, you know, in places where cement is the most prominent one,
you can, you know, reduce it up to 50%, depending on the type of cement you use,
the design, you can optimize the design so you don't like
over design in construction there's a lot of safety factors so sometimes even if you do all
the math and say that okay this is exactly the size of the column or beam you still want to multiply that by say 50 percent extra or like two times over
uh to you know actually make it safe like even though the math checks out um so yeah like those
things kind of depend on the local regulation so you're mandated to you know build with a safety factor of say two yeah at times
so yeah considering all of that I think you can still if you do a good job in
the design process it's yeah you can I think achieve up to like 50% if I'm not
wrong and nowadays if you can afford to spend more money uh your cement or concrete can also be
carbon neutral by injecting carbon into the cement itself so there's this calcination process that
happens in concrete uh and yeah if you uh ingest it with carbon dioxide it reacts and becomes a carbonate so yeah it's a it's possible to you know make
buildings completely carbon neutral uh yeah at least the concrete part of it
see the steel still yeah it will take a while and that you will have to completely eliminate and
create a use different materials,
replace cement with something,
I mean, steel with something else,
but yeah, largely it's possible.
Yeah, there's also methods where, you know,
you can have like, there are buildings
which absorb carbon like throughout their life cycle.
So you can have a coating on
buildings or you can have like some kind of a bacteria which uh you know constantly uh absorbs
carbon from its surrounding and um yeah becomes part of the building itself so yeah there are like
all these frontier tech stuff that's happening yeah but it still needs to like
hit mass market and yeah it needs to get cost effective so yeah that's going to take a while
one question um and i probably in all fairness need to connect you with this gentleman gentleman that I met at the the RSI or
or a DSI hub at East Denver but he's
working on green concrete and I'm not
talking about the color green I'm talking
about eco-friendly concrete what do you
yeah like I said there's different types
Yeah, so eco concrete can mean a bunch of things.
The most basic, I would say, is mixing it with, you know, ad admixture which is like a waste from say a steel factory there's
like specific things that you can mix into concrete that doesn't reduce its strength so
yeah if you let's say replace 10 percent of the cement with this material people
call it like eco concrete or green concrete sometimes they also call it green concrete
if you use some renewable energy in its manufacturing process
yeah like those two are the main things but yeah like i said before it can also be more
advanced in terms of like infusing uh carbon dioxide and like making concrete um yeah absorb
like all of this carbon and make it a carbon sink that can also be called green concrete so yeah it's
it's a broad definition and there's like different technologies that can make it green
It's a broad definition and there's like different technologies that can make it green.
Yeah, hope that answers the question.
Hey, dude, that's amazing.
Like to be able to have carbon 50% reduction.
You're telling me in a utopian world, we could reduce global carbon emissions by 20% through construction optimization alone yeah I mean freaking
deal dude like you spend enough money it can even go to 100% from 50 right cuz
you can inject the carbon into the cement yo that's wild man that's really
wild like so okay all right D cleanups be very patient with a hand go ahead
oh no sorry i think it's just in the pocket i didn't mean to but i'm thinking about region built a lot now since we started to build an outline and the developer had really beautiful
ideas about the building he didn't want to do a digging for the foundation.
We wanted to bring ready houses and everything
is like solar energy and la la la.
But we started to pitch this to local investors
and nobody was interested.
Just like we said, they want to build something
They want to build something with stays for many years and stuff.
But we also have this problem.
So even the concrete houses that they built, they're not really long term.
Our house that we used to live, it was built, I think the upper floor was built six years ago.
And the lower floor floor three years ago.
And it had funboos all over the world.
So I don't think the concrete conditions are also designed for Kofangan.
At the same time, I don't trust the bamboo buildings because they bring these all sorts of thermos and bugs and actually don't look okay.
We had a bamboo building at the Lent that doesn't look like it was made for many years to be honest.
So I understand their confusion and not willing to invest in something equally. But at the same time, that's something that we have to do to kind of support the
local environment and make it look good.
Yeah, that's, I think that's very important to you know understand the local condition really well
and yeah as you know part of the research for the framework we've been studying um yeah the
governance part is really the key in everything um yeah if you don't get locals on board to accept your project and somehow you should also affect
the local community and uplift them and show them, give them inspiration to support this
If you don't bring them on board and like change their perspective about like what a construction
project can do because it has a effect on its surrounding like a project is not just bound by
its you know uh the area in which you build like it also has an effect on the community that it is
part of and that community in turn is part of like a bigger system right so yeah like the way
you uh yeah so it's not it's i think very uh the old way of thinking is to just focus on your
project but the new way is to include everyone who has some kind of an interaction with the project
to be part of this process and designing in
understanding what the local needs are and yeah bringing them into the conversation and yeah
doing what's best for them uh while obviously looking out for your own interests and you know
profits and all of that so yeah that's that's actually the key of um yeah what is actually going to make systemic
difference versus like one of attempts of projects like trying to just focus on their piece of land
and like trying to get a green building certification so this yeah varies quite differently
and we focus more on the process than the technologies that are at play.
Because those are easy and we have all the technical solutions out there.
It's about people and changing their perspectives and mindsets that is going to be more important all right
all right all right all right Yo friends
Resetting the room everyone in the bottom right hand corner. You will see a
Beautiful little chat box, which is purple in color
Okay, I need everyone and I do mean everyone to head there right now and help us get to
222 comments, okay, we're at 205 right now.
we're gonna be doing a Grow Token giveaway.
drop a hashtag, let's grow,
followed by whatever it is that you wanna grow.
If you wanna grow your community,
if you wanna grow your funding, if you to grow your funding if you want to grow your
network if you want to grow your impact type it in the chat box right now right
meow okay and then we're gonna do a random number generator for the comments
and give it away give it away now all right we're at 209 shout out to the four
people who just did the thing all right
hippity hippity come on now we got we got 13 more to grow all right okay we'll get there we'll get
there i believe in us i believe in us oh there's another okay yeah back to you buddy um no i was
just gonna ask how long has the space been on like Like did we have, I think we had one or two rugs until now, right?
Yeah, we had a few ruggy poos.
Seven hours is how long this one's been growing.
We have two people signed into Let's Grow at the same time.
And apparently X is not too displeased with this.
Yeah, even to it at the same time no handshake just holding hands
Let's grow a shout out to tricky tricky is one of our channel partners
We are live on tricky social media accounts much love to you
tricky and we are about to grow live on vala so stay tuned for this because i'm about to be dropping
a form where y'all can be guaranteed a very special nft okay valla loves what we're doing right here
so much that they are actually so so they have a point system.
They're going to be dropping a very hyped up and epic, they're dropping a token and
they're doing an airdrop, right?
So you can get this token by, it's kind of like a Zili style, right?
You get points by doing stuff.
And one of the ways you can get points is by groinating on Gitcoin.
So that's going to be a thing.
And what the utility of this NFT is that you can get
just by filling out this quick little form
is you can get a multiplier on those points,
Not only are they amplifying what we got going on
with, you know, they got like 40,000 social media followers
but they're also incentivizing contributions,
and they are giving you NFTs,
and they're going to be giving an airdrop to people,
which is pretty freaking cool.
By the way, Vala is a Web3 TikTok, basically.
And, yeah, man, you can trade crypto directly from these videos. it has crypto built in it's got crypto culture it's video and
Yeah, man, you can be trade crypto directly from these videos. It's a pretty cool
I may say so myself. I'm one of the beta users. All right, Paul. Go ahead
Yeah, I just want to confirm that dream on behind region built
Was that a GM to G man, are Oh, you're asking? Is it a G-man?
He's my G. By the way, the G stands for grow, just in case anyone was wondering.
I want to say hi to him and thanks for meeting us in Bangalore.
Paul was here in Bangalore.
Yeah, last month it was fun.
Yeah, it was nice, nice place.
So yeah, really appreciate it.
It's a bit far from what I'd say.
And the traffic jam, the condo was crazy, but it's worth it.
So yeah, thanks you. One more time.
Yeah, we went to this place called Bangalore Creative Circus and yeah, that's the most
region place or hub in Bangalore.
Yeah, that's where we did the first Refi India event and yeah, it's got the vibes and yeah, it's got the vibes and yeah it's got the people so yeah I was glad to
and that day when Paul was coming there was an event happening with you know from
the global eco village network of India were gathering there and they were doing a special event for people to connect with that group and
yeah happened just so happened that Paul was also there I wanted to go for it and
yeah it was cool that we met. Where about are you nowadays Paul? Are you back in Pangaean?
Yeah, I'm back in Pangaean. Less than one month, almost one month back.
Trying to bring back my everyday routine. It's not easy here on the island to be honest.
And we have rains nowadays. But I'm glad, you know, with all of this traveling i live in jerry a lot of course
um but glad to be back home on the island i feel calm um
calm mood here with you know with i just feel that i can settle down and focus uh because we
have a lot of going on around virgin bazaar, around Gcleanup, with our open source development that we try to implement,
because the resources is like, you know what I'm talking about.
We're talking about that in Bangalore.
So we try to use what we have to at least deliver step-by-step,
minimum at least, or whatever we can deliver with contributors,
with only does support, and working on funding, of course, on Gitcoin currently.
And yeah, I'm sure we'll go and vote for RegionBuild to support you, brother.
And yeah, glad to be here.
Glad to be back, but for sure I will come again.
And don't forget to text me if you decide to come on Panga
that I can support you, Kevin.
I'm not participating in any rounds this time.
So, yeah, I didn't see very, very strong alignment
And also taking this opportunity to
like explore other avenues for fundraising because sometimes you know
we can get complacent with the grant funds that we get through get coin
because it can feel a bit easy but yeah now it's not been that easy nowadays so yeah it's i mean yeah it's a good it's a
chance for me to yeah venture out i guess so yeah i'm pretty happy and positive
yeah but looking forward to support you i think you have are you do you have region
bazaar in any of the rounds and obviously the cleanup yeah
we have region bazaar and we came up on the apps and uh get coin open source rounds and we have
a casino specs on dsi community round and we have the pipeline gun on coordination region coordination I got you Paul. I got you. I got refi Pangan. I'm pretty sure. Hold on. Let me check. Let me check.
Why is it showing up 15? Oh, yeah. Yep, I got you. I was your first donor, baby.
Non-fungible tree gen over here.
Hey, where do I find Dcleanup again?
Daps and Ops or something else?
Oh, you shared someone else's stuff.
You're sharing a lot of stuff up here.
That's not even your grant.
You're sharing Regen Bazaar.
Oh, is that you, Regen Bazaar?
Yeah, Regen Bazaar are also our products.
You should work with it as well.
I just used that mechanic
with gtc staking today this morning uh sorry your mic's a little bit scratchy i don't know maybe are
you speaking like too close to it or maybe from a little distance might be a little bit better
might be overwhelmed by your passion please go ahead you know i believe in your professional
You know, I believe in your professional approach.
Yeah, when you said now, it was perfect.
When you said it's good, it was scratchy.
I forgot already what we were talking about.
I'm sorry, bro. yeah, Re... Regen Bazaar.
But where do I find D Cleanup specifically?
There, you can find it nearby.
If you use Explorer search feature with GTC matching filter, we should be on the second line.
Now it's sounding a little alien, my guy.
I don't know why it's sounding like that.
You don't have another device nearby, do you?
Like maybe a computer or something?
I'm sorry to be a shtickler about it.
No, I have my laptop with your phones, by the way.
It's just outside. but... No, I have my laptop with your phones, by the way. Just outside and...
Are you using your phones?
Now I can't hear you at all.
Can you guys hear Paul still?
If you're able to switch it up, we'll be cool.
If not, no worries. Oh, he's doing the old off and on again
let's freaking grow all the trees
um have you have we experimented with the unlock PoEPS?
I don't know what it's called but have we tried that yet or is that something that's planned?
Because I think it would be really cool to give PoEPS to you know allow hosts to you know give PoEPS secret phrases to whoever's in the call and they can
collect it and maybe yeah have a track of that so maybe they can get rewarded
later you know first off they're not called oh apps in the um yes they're
called locks and locks have keys that unlock them pop lock and drop it pop lock and
drop it anyways I tried to spin up an event page yesterday from the multi-sig wallet but it was
giving me issues so I worked back with Julian and he said I would definitely not do it from a multi-sig but what we can do
and i'm planning on doing it a little bit later today is spin up an event page
um with the claim attached to it and um then from my own wallet but then assign
the multi-sig as a manager and that's based on wasabi's recommendation
so that'll be coming later today and we also have since I'm in a
since I'm in a promoting mood we also have Toby from grow the pie joining us
later on today at 1630 he will be live here in spaces and in the video broadcast studio
interviewed by one mr uh wilty from kingfish's corner loves it so for that my guy we're i think
the plan is to not bring the spaces the audio to the video but let's reverse it to optimize the best video quality possible right so
so what i mean by that is we don't talk in the studio right pardon me we don't talk in the studio
we talk i think we should yeah but if you're interviewing him right it's gonna be you and him back and forth, right? So we don't
port the Spaces audio to the video. You just talk in the video. We record it. Great. And
then what I or you could do is we will port that audio, kind of like you did with the
geezers, into the Spaces so people can still listen in if they want or they can watch the
How are we we gonna do that
what which bit port the audio port it here interview into here well that's i could do
that on my roadcaster i could just pull it up on my computer roadcaster you're gonna be in the
studio with that uh i don't need to be in the studio i could just pull up the video broadcast
oh i see yeah because my thing is like you know people aren't going to be listening to our Just pull up the video broadcast. Mm. Oh, I see. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
My thing is like, you know, people aren't going to be listening to our interview if
we're doing it in the studio for half an hour when they're expecting to have conversation
If you want to switch, if you want to do conversation here, then at that point, screen
share, bring the audio into the video.
But the idea is we want to have really high quality content after this.
And there's a chance if you put this, yeah, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, let's go with that.
So I'll interview him in the broadcast studio while you're putting that stream in here.
And then you just give me the, let me know when you want to bring the spaces in and you
can screen share or I can just fix that back up.
Well, it's just going to be an interview an interview so we're gonna be on camera so yeah but
he said at some point you might want to have discussions with the group that's
when we put the spaces oh oh yeah maybe I don't know cue it's only half an hour
so I think we can cover a lot with throw the pie in half an hour.
Okay, are you going to have a coffee between now and then?
Because you sound a little sleepy.
But right now, you got this for the next two hours, right?
Yeah, let me just send some Regenergy to you.
No, I speed off everyone's Reg regenergy of this.
No, but you got this for the next two hours, right?
I don't need to worry about it.
I mean, wait, let me try to click a button on here.
Hey, before it was super glitchy.
Yeah, but that's because I saved it on my end. That's fine.
Okay. Will Tee the Rescue.
Will Tree Gen. I bet you are.
Dude, you know the first thing I'm going to do when I see Will Tee?
What are you going to do? dude you know the first thing or I'm gonna do when I see will T
yeah you gonna laugh and giggle is what's gonna happen here I get a little will digle
we're everyone next time you run into a T at a web 3 conference immediately
jiggle him this must be our trademark will take a nation fantastic what we're gonna see each other where we're uh dev
uh eat ember no no no it's gonna be before that bro yeah where are you you're gonna come to token
2049 you're gonna come to ecc you're gonna come to you i don't think token 2049 is in the cards um
yeah for me right now what's what i'm building but you know you can always come
down to latam you're gonna be in latam well if i can finally raise some funds for a carbon project
i'll be in brazil brazil so that'll be fun i got a meeting with an investor later tonight and let's hope that finally gets off across
So once you get there, it's pretty easy to hop.
Like just domestic Brazil.
It's like cheaper to go to it.
Well, if it's costly in between Brazil, surely Lotham is...
I mean, we'll figure it out. We'll figure it out. I'm saying it's not a hop, skipping a jump.
Well, but I could get a flight fairly. Let's just say it's America.
Well, no. OK, so from America, Merkel, Merkel, Merkel.
Go ahead. So the time is like a domestic flight anywhere in the US, right? Pretty much.
It's up five hundies, four hundies.
About 350, 400, yeah. But once you get to Latam, your flight costs are reduced if you're
just traveling inside of Latam by about 50 to 60 so oh wow okay that seems kind
of reasonable that's what i say but how are we gonna offset this guys we gotta grow some mangroves
we gotta we need some tokenized a few more yeah carbon triple what's it called carbon counting
club turning carbon counting club tokens compost carbon counting clap should be quadruple C
Compost carbon coming crap, but he does more than a car compost because he also does his own biochar. Oh
Yeah, you know how much a ton of biochar goes for as a carbon credit
Now more than a hundred at least.
Regen, you got some insights here?
Yeah, it is in the hundreds.
Some direct... Yeah, hundreds.
Why is the market there for that?
Why would anyone pay hundreds when you could pay like 10?
I guess it sequesters higher.
I mean, it's... No, we're talking per 10. It sequesters the same. No, no, higher. I mean it's...
No, we're talking per ton. It sequesters the same.
Like it's not like biochar has biodiversity benefits?
No, not really. I think it helps really with soil rejuvenation, the soil health part.
Right. If we were measuring from the ecological benefit framework,
the soil component would be lit.
It would be on another level.
Yeah, and also I think that makes the plants more productive.
Mmm, so it has a chain reaction, so to say.
Yeah, a friend of mine was calling it protein powder for
the way by the way we have a kill made some char at KF media from Japan protocol so
there's that option as well have you now it was which one char bct or whatever
sir oh you bought the butt so you paid hundreds of dollars per ton I don't know
what we paid for we just did it as an experiment and okay yeah we've got some
we've got some char tokenized biochar I'm sure in our treasury. But who's supposed to be hosting right now?
Is that spun up by Karma HQ or is that someone different?
That's probably Karma HQ.
Well, they're in this space.
I just throw them a microphone.
Sorry. Wait, where? I don't see. Oh, I see in the space. I just threw them a microphone. Oh, my bad.
Wait, where? I don't see. Oh, I see Karma. Yeah.
Just followed. How was I not following Karma?
No, I did that. Trying to click on Karma's profile picture.
Oh, you know you can't mute me, right?
I know. I unmute everyone.
I am unmutable. I am unmutable.
Just between Jimmy and Will. And nobody can interrupt. I am unmutable! I am unmutable! No, forbidden. I will unmute you every single time.
You will not mute this audience. You will not mute my friends.
I haven't even heard from Regen Bazaar yet.
Paul, are you on a different device?
Oh, you sound like angels making babies.
Whatever that sounds like.
My ears are so happy right now.
Before, they were being salted very rudely.
But now, you sound so great welcome my friend
welcome back so now you can show us regen bazaar is it as bizarre as i think it is so region bazaar
is our infrastructure for impact products right i will try to make it shortly so it's our approach
It's our approach for infrastructure vision and also crypto-economic.
There is part of crypto-economic insight with our impact products and basically it's the kinization of positive impact or actions then done by non-profits and our communities on ground for example okay that might be a little bit noisy let
me try to go outside just a second so yeah yeah um i'm back so yeah it's basically our
infrastructure for input products and the input products it's uh takenized uh real world impact and by this impact
we see tree planting or cleanups or work with animals uh workshops or different different
different it's a pretty wide approach but um yeah it's wide approach but still not for everyone
um because it's only for impact that's already created so from one
side is retro um retroactive so they're basically non-profits who is working on ground they can
apply for the kinization and uh but they can apply for the kinization of those input that's already
created so they they should have some activities already and um that activity should be should have some activities already and that activity should be should have proof
and proof is like some posts on their website or any other social media on x
any place where they share what they're doing so it's not a big not a big proof that we request
but this proof in future will be used by decentralized validators
because we're going to have decentralized governance origin bazaar at one step and
decentralized validators they will be the big part of that and what they do they basically will
verify that this is legit non-profit and they can apply for further processes
there are some processes in this mechanization so that data that non-profit will put
in application will be verified with decentralized validators and they will take a look on the public open proof for that it could
be some posts as i mentioned for quarters and techs so on um on the first step it won't be so strict
because um we we're basically starting to gather the first test cohort for first tokenization test tokenization process and we already have
three application uh from different uh non-profits from africa from our community
uh region community and we will launch a campaign uh it's not a big campaign but we just
we deliver a landing page that allowed to apply so we will publish it and invite non-profits or we'll
ask our our friends from region community to support us to ask their non-profits that they
have on ground that they have some on ground non-profits or activists maybe invite them to apply for first test cohort for region bazaar
and after we get the first test cohort in non-profits um and infrastructure also should be
ready for that as i mentioned we implement open source development and working with only dust to build and the contributors from India from Africa and we deliver
slowly but steady according to our resources that we have and that time we will have that
we have infrastructure ready we need smart contract to develop smart contract it's more
like a factory that will produce this impact products with different characteristics, metadata from different nonprofits, again, so it should be capable to handle all of that.
It could be different categories, so it will be different impact products.
So, yeah, we should have this smart contract.
And in the future version, we also will implement data processing framework.
And the data processing framework, it's the framework to process real world impact data it's basically our approach
how to recognize real world impact because it's hard and it's mostly we want to make it tangible
we want to make it tangible we want to make it uh liquid and tradable on chain so that's the main thing that will provide more funding for
non-profits angels communities who work on ground and do impact on ground as well and
back to that this data processing free work is our approach as i mentioned i'll try for real world data um real world impact data
tokenization to verify it to add impact value we have um currently in in current version we have
a formula um that helps us to weight uh the impact um to add impact weights from different sides from different aspects and also
some multipliers in a future version just multipliers it's like a big city or small town
do they spend a lot of resources or it's it took took nothing for example uh do they need permits or not and so on
so on so different multipliers uh they influence the output in form of impact well as well
so in future versions they will be connected with the api with the databases that will provide data that already confirmed from this
organization so we will outsource this data but it won't be soon i don't think it will be this year
but we aim to have as much object as possible uh tool or approach to verify and verify real-world impact to tokenize it, to make it fair, because
there is, you know, the different projects work on that, different collectives work on that,
try to bring, try to verify proof, verify impact to make it transparent and traceable for public, for donors, for contributors.
And this data processing framework for real world impact could be also seen from this part, from our Ecosynthesix approach.
So after that, they will mint collection of their impact products, right?
And it will be available for buyers
on our marketplace, Region Bazaar.
And then it's a turn for buyers and buyers can come.
It's basically the first implementation, Region Bazaar,
is for retail buyers, but the future layer two that we will start soon
after we finish with first layer it will be for corporates and i know at ecg sdg now it's not in
the favor but it's only just a temporary focus of attention of public and management. So we keep building and looking to that side, looking
to that aspect for the thing that's important. So basically this layer one back to layer
one for retail region bazaar, they can come, they can search, use filters to choose their
