Good morning and welcome to the Lucky Lead. Today is Monday, April 3rd. It's Monday, what a weekend it was. We got through April Fools'
They are the most annoying day of the year on Twitter. On topics of things that are annoying, if you are annoyed by knock and me goes, then today is going to be a very bad day for you. Because that is all we're talking about and all that most of NFT Twitter is talking about. They have taken the market by storm
As we speak, they have been just absolutely surging on a run. We're going to break it all down why it's all happening, what the team has done, and what you can expect from here. I see some friendly faces out there. You know, on a CFT shark bill, Jay, thanks for joining us here. As a reminder for any new listeners out there,
there. We run the show every weekday Monday to Friday at 10 a.m. Eastern. It's a 30-minute show covering all the major news and crypto web 3 and NFTs. This show was meant for those interested in discovering the space, those actively buying and selling in the crypto and NFT markets and those here just doing research. I'm your host Tyler D. I'm joined by my
amazing co-host. We've got Emily loves crypto, a web 3 security expert and co-founder of the foolproof app ghost content star over a lucky trader deep in the so rare streets, quietly a whale NFT trader. We've also got Logan Hitchcock reppin the lucky trader account. We're going to try to get him up on stage while we do that ghost. Good morning, how
What was your week? Happy Migos Monday, Tyler. It was great as a Migos supporter here. It was a very fun one. We're having fun again at NFTs, at least briefly, which is a great change from the long-term bear market vibes that were happening for a while here. Very fun weekend.
holders are having fun. I'm not so sure about the rest of the market out there, but we will see how this week goes. All right folks, we've got a pretty packed show. I'm the docket for today. Knock Amigos are soaring. What the hell is going on? We're going to talk about the meme land ecosystem leading the mid-tier's, D-guides,
and then following along with all the headlines before we get into it goes if you want to take us through today's listener question. Yeah, we've talked about it a lot already. We're going to talk we're going to ask a question about the Nakamea's here. So we want to know from our listeners, do you feel like the Nakamea's have staying power or are they just a fad? So we'll be interested
to see the results of that poll there. A lot of cope on the timeline, a lot of excitement, very polarizing collection there. And as always, a bit of housekeeping. If you enjoyed these shows, Tyler does a great recap every morning in his morning minute newsletter. So we'll pin that to the top of the spaces as well. Give that a subscribe if you haven't already. Go. Thank you for that. Let's get right into
it. Top story of the day. It's not Camigo, Mania. Unless you've been living under a rock or just off in a T Twitter completely, you have seen these things flying around popping up as P.F.P.s and then memes. But what at first was just a fun project the community members were vibing with has turned into a real force. We saw the 20k
supply collection reaches 0.7 ETH for overnight. It is now sitting over 0.8 ETH after some recent news from people. We'll get into that here in a bit. It's up a whopping 400% on the week. It's now an 80X from its 0.01 ETH mint price for the public. In fact,
for EOS holders. A few key numbers as I was digging into this yesterday, we just hit the mint price. It's been 11 days since the mint. They've already seen about 14,000 eighths in lifetime volume. Over 59,000 sales, almost 3X the collection. Right over 5800 owners, current all-time high sales.
$20.5% royalty and then the ranking and global reach number one. So if you reactions to those numbers, again, just in 11 days since the meant the floor is up 80x, we've seen almost the entire collection turn over three times, approaching 60,000 sales, and maybe the most impressive
And maybe one of the most important aspects of this is according to NFT inspect, the Nakamegos Twitter page has already reached the number one rank in global reach for all Twitter accounts. And then when you rank the PFP collections, it ranks seven. So, you know, after looking at this collection being involved in the community over the past
a few factors that have jumped out to me about what this team has done right to set this up for success. A low-minit price, some great pixelated art, solid distribution of mid-tier and high-end traits, leveraging and existing community in the MFRS, some sharp honorearies for Wales and artists, and then the royalty and
So I'm going to briefly talk through each of these. I think the low mint price with that Dutch auction ending is 0.01 and then the free mint for industry holders kind of allowed this to be an every man type project that anyone had a chance to get into if they are around and saw this. No one was priced out and it was a
of course in line with this brutal bear market. I think the pixelated art folks had been responding well to anecdotally I've heard from some top artists that they I've heard people calling to some of the best pixelated art they've ever seen for P.F.E. collections. So that has definitely given this some legs additionally there aren't real
a lot of what people would call floor traits, which has led to a constant churn and nothing really anchoring the floor down. Those mid tier and high end sales have certainly been a huge part of this. Anyone who's seen kind of the dot plot sales chart of this collection is not just floor volume going up on this. It's constant and steady volume.
above floor, I posted a tweet yesterday with some of the mid-tier floors I'm pulling it up now. But the crowns, well that crowns actually sold overnight at 10/8 and 14/8. We've got balloons at a 6.5/8 floor, hoodies at 4/8 and very
with yesterday, selling in that three to four-eatth range. We've got the Coby's selling at a 3.5 floor. Wrestlers, right, two to three. Snowman approaching two. We've got Crocodiles approaching two. There's just a lot of different action in the mid-tier. There's a lot of different types of trades
for folks to connect with and go after. So that's been a big part of it. And we're kind of pulling the floor up when we see those mid-tier and high-end sales, the community aspects, leveraging that MFR community who really took this thing in that first week. They ran the spaces. If anyone didn't see it, there's been spaces that have run all night. We've got Ninja training sessions going
going on early and frequent meaming all instrumental in the success. Some of those honoraries, they sent honoraries to artists like Alvacentor Kid, Kath Samard, G Money, Seed Frays, now some of them are even repinting them as their P.F.P.s. We saw Kath make it her P.F.P. yesterday. And then the last factor, the royalties at 5%. So they were
Always 5% blur wasn't enforcing them earlier in the week last week which led to a lot more pure farming. They got them reinforced and that did seem to at least anecdotally trim down on some of the pure farming with that 5% rake on the collection. And we didn't see a whole lot of your typical farmers holding huge bags which has harmed other
collections in their early weeks as of late. So those are some of the factors that I've been watching and tracking what's been different. I feel has kind of propelled this collection to success, but I want to hear from our speakers up on stage. So ghost, maybe I'll start with you. I'm curious if you're still holding and kind of how you're feeling about the collection.
Yeah, I'm still holding pretty much all of mine. I added a bunch yesterday, including a snowman and a frog there. So opening the rarity a little bit. I am still holding. I'm still vibing as you can tell I changed my profile picture to it. It's just nice to have a lot of fun and NFTs again. And this community has really shown that you can still do the
that despite the market conditions of the broader space. And I think that a lot of the people that are kind of coping on the timeline and upset, like I think that you really need to think about the anchoring bias that we see a lot of times. And that was one of the biggest things I think Peter Jennings was the first person I heard bring that up and really resonate with me is like you feel about
initial bias that they had. So I think that this is a very strong sentiment from the community and the broader market. And it's hard to deny at this point. So I'm still very bullish and excited to see where we go with it. But like you said, I mean, obviously everyone's going to say that
hard to do. So I think they've really nailed on the head. I don't know who it is, but clearly it's resonated with the broader space here. No, I think you made a lot of good points there. Certainly, I felt the same way when I first started browsing through the collection, I picked up a couple and then I wanted to go after more and more trades. And then I think they clearly edited
this set down very well. And that's evidence by how there really are not very many bad traits or what appears to be mistakes. It's a very steady, consistent, and solid art across the set. A couple of other factors that we've seen kind of propel this in the last 12 hours. So last night,
people posted his latest piece. It's called "Pray". It's got the character kind of kneeling at the altar of the Nakamegos pictures out there. That sent the 4 up to 0.7. And then just this morning about 40 minutes ago, he tweeted again, "I'm going to read it. LOL. Okay, so how about if
If you crazy mofos can get this to a wanting floor, I will do chapter 2 of the Nakamego saga. And then he goes PSI on zero just a dude sitting in the bleachers joint picks. Well that tweet alone sent this thing all the way up to 0.9. I'm watching the price action now. It has sensory traces holding it about 0.74.
but the floor is a bit thinner there. So people certainly a big part of this goes, you got your hand up reactions to people's involvement here. Well, I think it's crazy to see that. But we've seen him jump on some other trends recently like checks and a few other projects. But still awesome to see. I thought that was a strange post this morning about trying to
I'm trying to pump the floor there. But I also had a question for you Tyler or anyone else, but the supply of the collection at 20,000 I think initially is looked at as like a bad thing and we always like like either the lower supplies or like the standard 10k. But I feel like in this case like one a lot of us have liked collecting a lot of
different traits within the collection. It doesn't feel like you just need one or two, like you like collecting them. And two, it kind of helped have that built in community because a lot of different people can participate. So I'm curious to hear what you think of like the dynamic of the 20,000, which is usually kind of looked at as too high of a supply there. Yeah, I think it's a lot of folks is kind of making the city
and backgames and in generalities. On paper, a 20,000 set in a bear market is less likely to form well. That's why we've seen a lot more of the movement to your 2000 to 4000 range sets. But the reality is, NFTs are much more
a matter of demand then supply. I think that the team to your point has built a collection that holds up across 20,000. Again, I'm going to point you, there are no consistent traits on the floor. I'll challenge anyone to say what they think, the pure floor trait
in this collection is and I've been monitoring this very actively about 16 hours a day for about five days straight and there are no tricks that sit on the floor consistently. I think that's that really goes to show. Well, maybe enough from the fanboys between me and Ghost here. I want to hear from Emily.
I don't believe that you have any knock as an outsider. What is your read on this collection as there's definitely a chance that Ghost and I have our blinders on it. I do not have any knock amigos. I think what stands out to me the most about them is how other projects have tried
to overcome the bear market with utility and use for their NFTs using them more to the extent that the technology allows. And that's just not what people want at all. It's, I find it really interesting that
But we have this enormous tech stack with that can do really incredible things that solves a real need in the world. And this is what we keep going back to. So I'm not sure if it's about readiness of the market to accept new technology and new use cases or adjust that.
NFTs are not going to rise to their full potential in the consumer market. It's really going to take B2B business for NFTs to break through and quote unquote onboard the world. I mean, it's nothing I'm not going to go specifically. It's just that that is what this indicates to me.
And it's less than what I expected. I was kind of thinking that the bear market would be ultimately pulled NFTs out of kind of the DGNB ambling that goes on. And I think it's just not meant for that in the hands of consumers.
Well, it's an interesting take and I definitely am with you on a lot of those points. I think a big part of the rallying cry to me here has been kind of it's the anti-utility, you know, mid-tier PSP. It's folks kind of fed up with, you know, some of the anger the bad vibes
And a lot of those collections that have been down only with founders who aren't really doing too much it seems with you know their large treasuries So let's just have fun and buy with a collection that's more just about the art Although you know, I'm in chats with some of the whales behind his project like like moon cat anonymous
some of these other guys, there is some sentiment out there that the team behind this, you know, high foe, high low, I'm blanking on the name of them, that they will do something with this. And the reason is this 5% royalty, right, is a very large
incentive to keep this project at the forefront of attention. I mean, they've done 11,000 volume in the last seven days. That's what, you know, 500, 550 ETH. They've made this week. So certainly, they've got incentives to make sure this thing stays well then.
Yeah, I'm just here at 11-day period goes you had your hand up, you know reactions to Emily or more thoughts Yeah, no, I agree with all that I just wanted to call out the the tweet that I pinned which I thought was really interesting is seeing how many people are truly like in the profit like there's very few people that have taken a loss on this collection so far and that's such a big driver of like of
I'm not a big fan of the time line, but we've seen a lot of these projects that meant for a really high price. And I've still always said, I feel like the biggest projects that go parabolic are the ones that start out super low and let everybody win and have good vibes. And that continues to get redistributed into the community and people end up buying back in with their
profits. So I think that's a huge key here. And I think we've also seen a lot of projects like I see people kind of coping about the art or saying like always not that good, but it's like I think that the first week or so of churn is so important. And like we've seen so many projects that just go to zero immediately or just didn't have that hype. And this is clearly like captured the the this
Space from the beginning like we saw tons of spaces and everything like that And so I think that like once you see that get past the like a couple of days or week Where we usually see projects die after reveal or something like that like I feel like that's like a bullish indicator of like oh this thing actually might be around or have staying power at least in the short term here
Yeah, I think that's a good indicator. So I want to talk on price action and then we'll move on. This will be our last point here. So you mentioned how most folks are in the green. So that that is an important aspect here. It's one I've been tracking closely. I will I will not be surprised at all if we see, you know, a fairly large retrace happen, you know, after this run, you know, clearly#
this people action is a propellant here. We've seen a lot of new entrance. So when I woke up yesterday morning, there was 5,350 owners in this collection. I'm saying 5,900 now. So 550 new unique wallets have joined in the last day. That is a positive sign, certainly. But I think the average price
that most folks are in is probably closer to like 0.4 and I don't have the data. I'm going to try to look it up here. But I think we will see a pullback closer to the average, a likely some more accumulation. And then we'll see where it goes from there. Unless it's this thing that goes straight to one and then the guy's going to have to get
the four oak tattoo and people is going to make number two part of his saga here. Ghost, do you have any short term or medium term price starters that you'd like to share? I don't. I mean, I'm just vibing it along for the ride. I do think it's going to hit one. I think when you when you start to hear things like getting a tattoo on your ass or someone I think said that they were going to eat their own#
I feel like that meme type thing there is kind of program. So I think we do hit one each here eventually. And I'm kind of hoping that the team doesn't do anything for a while. Like I think that there's enough sustained community vibes that like we don't really need utility here. But I'm not sure where this thing goes in the last few days.
long term, but it has definitely reinvigorated the BFF and FT side of things a bit here. Well, fair take. And maybe I'll catch you in one of these Ninja Dojo training spaces here later today. All right, folks. Well, for those of you who don't care about Nakamega, we'll get on to the rest of our show before our next topic. How about the news?
Today's top headlines powered by a lucky trader. Trading volume is spiked over 31,000 teeth on Sunday to highest levels since March 16th and up almost 50% from recent trading levels. The D-Gaad's officially migrated to ETH with 76%. Migrated to floor is a
at 7.97 ETH this morning, down about 25% from local highs over the weekend, around 11 ETH, the UTS hit 2.4 and then fell about 15% to 2.1. Euglabs News CEO Daniel Allegra has officially started at the helm of Eugla after leaving Activision Blizzard on Friday.
The meme land ecosystem surged on Sunday with captains reaching 6/8 and potatoes eclipsing 3, and then 87 punks were sold in a single transaction on Saturday, totaling 5,261/8 or 9.6 million dollars, sending the floor briefly down to 58.5/8.
We have three in crypto news crypto was boring chopped over the weekend Bitcoin minus 0.3% of 28,300 each down a half percent at 1810 the Arbitrum Foundation posted last night clarifying a recent governance vote and some token sales from the team based on some recent community feedback
And then Argentinian low cost airline fly bond is partnering with travel I X to offer flight tickets as entities on the algorithm blockchain and third time games is partnered with NBC sports to provide a 3D simulation of the iconic Kentucky Derby for the second year in a row. Then somewhat breaking I see a tweet here that Emily sent across from Jack but sure
It says be zero dot one incoming and it says O pep in AI So that isn't interesting. Well me before we get into our topic, let's make a react to that You know ghost or Emily. I know Certainly Jack has recently shared some more info on our
Oh, Peppins seems like he's going to go this AI route and then he's been kind of talking a little bit about having it more in the community hands. A lot of folks to kind of do what they want with the IP. I don't have a total command on I'm curious. If either of you have a read on where Jack is going,
Yeah, I was in Jack's space last night where he was kind of talking about the journey a little bit and he was saying how with all these advancements in AI, he felt like what they were shipping initially with the Opeps didn't really like further any conversations or anything and he felt like by pivoting kind of to AI
and bringing in this new element that he can really have a better command of and just an artistic journey, which I thought was interesting. And some of the teasers that he's shown on Twitter over the last couple days here are pretty awesome of how he's kind of remixing the older art
I don't even know what you would call that. I can't think of it at the moment. But there's some cool stuff there. And I think he said that checks original as they revealed ones would have a role to play in the Opeps. But he said that all you would need to participate is an Opepn.
just in a watch here. But it sounds like sometime this week we'll hear a lot more about what's going on. Oh, thank you for extra info here. And maybe I'll tell you about I'm curious. So you know, you gave us your read on, you know, knock amigos and the PIP projects. I'm curious for your reaction to kind of how Jack Butcher has taken his
ecosystem over the last two months in the NFT art space, launching several projects, but not just leaving them out there, he's continuing to drive them forward via his ongoing tweets, his ongoing
updates of the art and then now this integration with AI. So I'm curious if you have any reactions or take on Jack. I definitely did not expect an open edition to take a turn like that. It was capturing the attention for a very long time.
And I think it's really interesting that that is where he chose to go. I think Jack, which are more than anyone else recently, has proven what you can do with a little bit of success. It can be a lot.
I don't know. You never know what's coming next in NFTs, I guess. I'm right there with you. I'm going to be very interested to see how he's able to maintain this attention. I feel like we've seen some mixed reactions from folks. The market does look like it's up about 10% since that tweet
here at 0.46E. So we'll see what Jack has in store. All right, quickly, I want to talk a little bit about the mid tier PFP market here. It was a big weekend for mainland. So captains are now at 6E. They're up 10% on the day up 20% on the week. And then potatoes are coming right along with them.
over three eth now up 25% on the week. You know for some comparison to a few others. So we've got Moonbirds holding at 3.6. They're actually up 15% on the week. Let's check on a few others. So doodles are at 3.2. They're even in Clown X is at 3.1. We've got the Pudgy
up a little bit at 4.25 there even on the week. So potatoes are essentially right there with clonics and doodles at this point. I'm not really too deep in this ecosystem of ghosts. I know you are a holder at least. I believe you are. I'm curious. Do you have a quick overview of why you think the
money ecosystem is moving up and maybe leveling up compared to their peers here. Yeah, I think that I still hold two captains and some potatoes here and I've been bullish on meme land for a while. I don't think that there's been any one driver that's kind of bringing it up. I just think people have continued faith
in the nine gag CEO and the team here and they kind of continue to just build community and reinforce that they want to reward holders which I think is is rare in today's market. People are really looking for projects that want to report their holders and feel like they haven't been rewarded by a lot of the other mid-tieres and in a
in a space that we've seen a lack of like people have been abandoning the ideas for tokens or other things. I think that the meme token is like the only one coming up that seems like it might have a lot of value. So I think people are interested in that. And so the captains are currently accruing maps, which we're not sure. They could be like boxes for for blur token
It works for a while and this community is being built slowly over a long period of time. So it's not just something that was kind of a flash in the pan or built up and it all started from mostly free NFTs. So like we talked about with Nakamego's, a lot of people are in the green there and that makes for a better base of the community there. It feels like...
Hard to argue with that and clearly the captain's have some of the most momentum in the mid to your space and with with D. God's having kind of made their move. Unless Frank has another kind of trick up his sleeve here the next few weeks I could see a little bit of rotation now from D. God's on heath maybe down to that to those captains.
Maybe those two get a little bit closer. I want to touch on D-Gods just quickly here. Before we do that, go, let's want you to quickly take us to the top NMT market headlines. Yeah, let's do it here. Some of the top market headlines from the weekend power by Lucky Trader. It was a slow one this weekend. Not too many updates here, but Killer Bears announced a new mint for the Killer Cubs coming#
We saw a massive euthere of a 1/7 euthere. That's an all-time high for the euthere ecosystem and probably an all-time high for the polygon ecosystem there. Euthere currently at a 2.15 euthere for retrace slightly from close to 3 which they were earlier in the weekend there.
content and gear for the upcoming doodles to collection doodles and the other mid caps or former mid caps if you want to call them that are currently holding in the low three range pretty stable there. And finally mocha versus adjusting its staking window starting today at 9 a.m. Eastern the current floor is 0.82 there for that collection. Goose, thank you for that and everyone please
a quick plug, watch out for ghost so rare primer. Coming out later this afternoon for those of you interested in the NBA and so rare. Quickly so ghosts. I'm looking through Frank's Twitter here. I mustn't just miss this air drop rumor or tease where did this come from. I'm seeing that the announcement that
that he's going to be locked away in a remote location until NFT NYC, although he posted that on April 1st. So there is zero chance I would have believed that coming on April Fool's Day anyway. But I guess where do we see the the air drop to you? If you look in the corner of the image where it says that he's locking in,
like very faded out there's like an airdrop logo on the bottom right. I see it now. That's what people are saying is the speculation there. Wow. So Frank has got to trick up his sleeve after all. And folks, NFT NYC is just around the corner. It is coming up next week. So that's
That's going to be a really interesting one to see. And if he doesn't check your wall, it's type move at NFT and why see that one could be one for the books. I'm curious. So what is our take on D gods and you we saw them kind of take they took Friday by storm. We saw, you know, I think G money swept some
you. So you got to about 2.4 the D gods when I woke up Saturday, we're at over 11 now back at back at E if you think Frank is going to be able to kind of keep the attention. We think these go back to 10 settle at eight. Where do you see these kind of playing out next? Maybe next to captain's ghost. I'll tell you up and then we'll close out. Yeah.
I was surprised to see the price drop there. I thought they had a sustained run in them. I think Frank is really great at driving attention and hype. I have no doubt that I think he'll have something for NFC and NYC. I think that'll be for both UTS and the gods.
But I don't know. I thought I was in the camp that it was going to go higher. So to see it below eight now is a bit surprising. So I'm not sure where this goes in the short term. And we did see on the UTC goes as we saw a massive sale yesterday. It's 130,000. I think it was around 70 or 77.
So I think those have been holding up surprisingly well for me. So that's been great to see. All right, folks, we are out at time of a four week close out. What's dropping today? It is a slower day in new drops. We've got that candy digital with their 2023 MLB highlights coming at 1 PM Eastern. Our blocks presents S L slash CE by
Stranger in the queue coming at 11 a.m. Eastern or 1 p.m. Eastern rather. That's a fixed 0.13. He's meant that we've got iron Paul gang coming at 5 p.m. Eastern. It does seem like iron Paul gang is the most hyped mid of the day. So expect some demand and attention on that one.
1000 supply 0.15. All right folks, that is our show for today. The crew will be back tomorrow at 2 a.m. Eastern. Thanks to our listeners for tuning in. Thanks to my ghost. Everyone enjoy your Monday. Let's make it a great day.
Bye everybody.
