all day every day even at work with some very minimalistic design well depending where you

intro uh yeah sure um i mean yeah we work basically with tangible assets uh currently
we're focusing a lot around the dpp which is the digital product passport and we have lined up some
very big clients in europe so we're working in the wine industry industry in the coffee industry
uh we're working in the memorabilia we recently closed that deal with uh a soccer team in serious
a um and yeah man we tokenize pretty much everything like we use different kind of devices
we can do it with simple nfc with the fingerprint we even use qr codes whenever it's food and
beverages and we are blockchain agnostic we're running the currently in four different blockchains
so ethereum polygon the v chain and cardano at the moment and uh yeah we're just having fun you
know we love building and uh we love web 3 obviously we're really trying to bring a utility
with our technology because whenever we tokenize an item yes we do provide the digital passport
which is very important but we also uh give basically the the buyers a way to claim the nft
using social media so brands can actually leverage on these uh on this technology and
you know create a community and so on so yeah it's pretty cool i have to say that's amazing man
absolutely love it uh so dope and also it's amazing that we had a chance guys to meet uh during the
ape fest with with many of you and that's what i love about the club and about this uh utility
right that that connection with other builders with other people in the club and everyone has
different skill set everyone is building different business and i really believe if we work together

it's a squad building experience with weekly missions and uh so far we've integrated a lot
of different collections i think it's now um above 160 almost 170 collections that are enabled
and they can just um you know come and join our missions for free
yep or you can mint the yacht and you can actually uh win some prizes right
yeah that's correct yeah yachts are um our own collection and they are um a vehicle type in the
game so um if you don't own yachts you can still play and because we built this auto chattering
feature and uh there's some kind of um reward sharing involved between the the actually player
and the holder of the yacht so it's not limited to the amount of yachts but um yeah if you buy yachts
you um you know get more rewards and um yeah can build more teams because it's depending on

why did you decide actually to utilize b-a-y-c or mutant ip uh what was behind that and what are
some of your expectations uh from the club for made by apes um oh there's a sailor i forgot about

doing are you also from europe i'm uh no i mean i'm in california i'm in california but i uh
i wanted to come up because i um you know we've been working on in a while
and with a little help from another ape meaningful nonsense we're able to get some of our products
direct to consumer live uh in the uk which is a first step um full disclosure shipping is totally
whack um but you know we're we're here to crack the egg you know we want to we want to be part
of made by apes europe we want to be part of made by apes asia you know the way we're we're building
it you know it's a global global collective so i just wanted to come up and share that you know
not in europe though but uh hopefully hopefully i can sneak into that group chat yeah man i think
this is awesome that you're shipping here and i can imagine that it's it's uh the pain it's a pain
in the ass uh because like for us shipping chocolate from here to to us it's it's not

yeah like uh uh why did you decide it actually to utilize your your uh ape ip to to build brands
you know you have uh you have uh i know you have a sponge but uh don't you have another one don't
you have also uh you also have anything project right like the nanos but i don't know if you
utilize your ape there so why did you decide no i didn't integrate the ape in the nanos this
was a very separate stuff um by actually using the ape here um it's not only like a regular
brand or something like it's deeply rooted in the in the club uh actually uh storyline like
universe let's say and using the ape i'm not putting it like printing it like in being in
front of the t-shirts i'm i'm not a big fan of actually um massive uh prints and all so i really
wanted to to do something very clean and that's why i came with the storyline of actually the
ape is actually the creator of all the clothes etc so you can see it on the original genesis
announcement that was actually on on um in the us in in uh oh what's the name of this place in new
york we saw the big screen i don't remember so time square time square yeah that's where i put
it in august when i was there uh is actually suit on the sewing machine and doing stuff but but yeah
again i think we are in a crucial moment um two years ago when prices were super high everyone was
talking about ip potential four trades monkeys were selling for uh millions and everyone was
talking about building building building and i don't think that all these people they all built
and it's to me it's a crucial moment to show the potential of the apes it's an amazing an amazing
actually ip and bringing it to life through different brands like we can see with with beers
travel even services that is so cool and i'm super excited about that i love the thinking behind
behind that because i think for all of us like the real builders they are building products uh
and and and businesses it's such a great thing for for byc and and you got ecosystem right uh
because we talk about a physic maybe about you know you have a physical like physical products
but you know you can go with those with those product to digital work too right there's going
to be other side and and more things so um i think that potentially is so huge to onboard new people
to actually spread awareness to outside of web 3d right so that's awesome man
yeah definitely and and one thing because you mentioned europe uh it's funny because we are
usually the one that are suffering of the taxes and the shipping cost and now it's actually in
reverse i received messages from is from the us oh man the t-shirt it's like 30 bucks to get the
t-shirt shipped in the us i said oh but to us whenever we order t-shirts like 50 or 60 bucks and
on top of that we do also have a lot of fees uh for the customs and stuff so yeah we are reversing
we are putting europe in the center of the map hundred percent hundred percent and can't wait
to get a t-shirt during the ft paris and and wear it there that's gotta be awesome uh because i'm
not like i'm not dogs on the internet so people can easily recognize me with the t-shirt because
the ape is basically on my chest there so uh love that man uh tik go ahead yeah uh well i mean like
to be honest for me it was just like you know a no-brainer to get the license it's like uh
we're builders we work with web 3 it's just like why wouldn't you do that it's such a beautiful
opportunity actually and as i said before i was super excited when i heard first and in fact
i have one of the first licenses as soon as he went live you know i just went there i'm like i
need to make sure i'm gonna apply and uh this is just the beginning you know the ape community is
really strong it's uh i mean who doesn't know portraits come on guys like are you serious like
with our license we can do so much already if we start cooperating uh you know we can unlock so
many doors together and i'm really bullish about this to be honest uh so yeah that's the
main reason and uh i really see a bright future for us to be honest yeah yeah same and uh i see
also gene in the audience and um when i started going around the people to help me with a chocolate
brand and i i want to definitely do more more made by apes products like the best thing is that
uh you you go for the meeting and you bring them for example example of a border you show it to
them right you you show them board hungry and it's so much easier for people to understand what it
is what is it about so every builder now you can go for the hey uh there there is a there is a
company that is doing like a booking software right or or booking for hotels and uh they are
represented by by uh apes so it's so much easier and i think this is really really dope that uh
you can you can use these examples already and there are so many so uh absolutely love it
guys anyone else would like to add anything why you guys decided brandon yeah for us it made so
much so much sense to bring a travel service to to grow with the ipr by ape because why wouldn't
we want to assist and build with the strongest nft entity brand out there to connect their global
community um within within easier ways of people to be accessing to spend their cryptocurrency and
to see their their friends that they've made within the community so for us again also from that like
web2 perspective why wouldn't we want to grow with the biggest name behind us even if you speak to
people within web2 that aren't really familiar with the world of web3 they won't know much about
cryptocurrencies but would know names like board api club yuga labs and these are the things that
stand out so for us that it really does bring a trust and it's a community as nft maxis that
we would see a long-term relationship of growth within the community and looking forward to
meeting many holders in paris and networking within the community and yeah just the beginning
i also think sharing experiences uh is very valuable uh because you know i think they're
similar we are dealing with similar issues with similar obstacles and similar things so if we
share the experiences uh you know it can be really helpful and um i really think and believe that
there's going to be some platform uh for us for all made by apes that we can interact that we can
chat not only like in a group chat but something bigger i really hope and believe that yuga is
working on something like that uh because that's that's really important part i also see tino uh
join us uh i want to say hi to him i know he has some iRL stuff so uh tino we're just talking about
uh why to utilize uh mutant or biycip so if you want to hop in and start sharing gm guys what's

uh i've been uh we're releasing also a plush toy with our kids brand now this week and
and you know like i've been trying and experimenting with this for a long time and uh and i i think like
the time comes and uh and you know like the kids we actually had a great uh interesting feedback
uh with grateful with our chocolate from our producer uh when he was uh was it norway or sweet
no it was norway right uh and uh and uh so we're doing the chocolate and uh he was at the one of the
some kind of a big food uh for food producers uh or chocolate produce chocolate uh makers
fair and he said like our chocolate was like really children were stopping and taking pictures
of it and mom mom i want this ape i want this monkey thing you know and this this was very
surprising for us because you know like we're not really targeting among kids at like uh at first
so this was this was very interesting and i think there is a big opportunity there as well for
somebody to create like a uh a children brand uh there so yeah if there is one i'm happy to
collaborate love it man love it and yeah the chocolate like the idea behind it was like
everyone loves or most of the people love chocolate right and it's a product that everyone
understands like you don't need to explain anything on blockchain and um we want to spread
b-a-y-c-i-p uh to as many people as possible so we are selling on the biggest online retailer here
but we need to get into the more in like uh to get more in touch with the with the customers
like so you don't you don't just see it online you you see it maybe in the stores so uh we are
working with uh some really cool places here as david horvat say right that he really likes like
museums for his toys so we are also looking for some interesting locations where to place the
chocolate so everyone can see the the b-a-y-c-i-p and when people get used to it and they they
learn more about it you can add another element maybe you you add the the chip or qr code so they
can learn more they there can be some digital things like pudgy uh pudgy penguins are doing
right so uh it's really interesting journey and it's so cool that we are so early to actually
you know be like a pioneers of of uh building ip around uh b-a-y-c-n mutants because it has never
never been done before uh like we have 10 000 apes 20 000 mutants like uh there is there's not
example like that uh in in the past you know you have one mickey mouse uh and and uh you know few
other characters around but there's never been like 10 or 30 000 characters before so really
hyped you know i saw yarminte go ahead it just just one note to that uh so uh i was releasing a
collection within fitorem uh uh end of last year uh it was t-shirts and and there was also like a
chocolate collaboration with my streetwear brand for adults and and we were having a pop-up in a
really cool pop-up store uh in bradislava in slovakia and it's like you know they sell like
these hype brands and a lot of cool stuff so like all these hype uh hype biscuits uh come in uh come
in there all the time and the chocolate uh is being sold there or was and is and it's pretty
funny because you know like these youngsters it's for them you know like there is nothing in the
store that costs less than like i don't know like 50 euros or 70 euros right so chocolate for like
five it's amazing you know like they see it and they just you know put it on there and and i was
i was talking to the store manager and she told me that uh they're actually like the the kids know
of uh of like uh b-a-y-c uh mutants and nfts they're asking about it so that's uh there's
actually very interesting i also uh see the the pink tweet from jeff and i think he had similar
thing on uh his uh daughter's birthday i i believe some kind of experience uh like this and i think
that's the way you know like we need to spread there and and when when the kids grow up you
know like they're and they have money for uh for uh join the team we're ready right
hundred percent man and i remember when we all talking about the pricing right like tino was
like let let's price it as a common uh eat gas fee you know so we started on 50 50 dollars

this is going to be taught in schools you know one to ten years from now you know probably all

your question one of the biggest struggle that i have is about crypto it's about accepting crypto
um it's it's a big mess um in terms of um for example in the u.s it's very easy you open your
coinbase pro account and you can accept crypto within the hour of giving documents and stuff
but it's not really made for us especially since they ask documents that doesn't even exist
in france so this is in my opinion a big struggle um and and yeah i'm really really
think that we should have like very easy plugins that allows us to to accept ape coin so if you're
a builders and want to build up on a coin just just do it and of course reach out to me about that
but yeah that will be great and about yuga i'm not expecting anything i think what they are doing
is great they're showcasing us um i do think they have a lot of stuff that they are keeping for us
and that they will release i'm sure that the bodega the online bodega is like the v as i said in the
in the chat earlier it's like a very very early version of it and i'm sure that this directory
will really move into something that allows us to connect all the builders in the ba yc ecosystem
to collaborate easily and and and yeah spread the word so that's super cool yeah i i agree here
uh i think the the bodega in hong kong was like uh the the first attempt and spicy and everyone
around did such a great job the the the passion for that like it was insane right like um i think
that's also difference between in in sentiment of people who were there actually and who talked to
the team and who experienced it compared to people that that weren't there because the
the passion and excitement and everything was so so big and uh spicy also helped us a lot of
shipping and everything so it was great and also being in that nft magazine right
that elite apes put together it's another great reference to show to other partners here
that maybe they don't know about uh ba yc they don't know about crypto and you can show them
like other products all from all over the world that's that's absolutely amazing so yeah and i
also agree with the crypto thing because uh it's it's probably impossible as a company to open
coinbase here i i gave up on that because uh they i don't know it was it felt like talking
to fbi probably and uh it didn't work actually oh i wouldn't mind talking to the fbi if actually
what they were asking was possible but here it wasn't even possible they were asking for
documents that doesn't freaking exist in europe and so makes no sense yeah i think it would be dope

things that we can work in the in the future but uh yes with with uh with this kind of group and

to all the questions sure um the main focus for me was to have everything up and running
functioning well testing all the drops all the tech behind um like you mentioned the token gates
when you were ordering your t-shirt etc so these are the very limited edition custom for example
t-shirts and pieces for holders but there is um what i call the timeless collection that are
designs that are more suited for everyone and maybe someone will come across one and
won't know that it's board ape inspired because that's that's the thing about the brand
the goal is to expand this year yes um outside of web 3 um there will be a product launch soon
uh i can say it is it's a skate deck something very very sick very limited etc it's it will be
actually showcased um during um an exhibition can say more about that but um it will be very very
visual and uh it it it will feature frank and bombay uh my mutant and it will be actually
showcased to places where i don't think people are really really into web 3 yet so that's how i
plan to actually spread the words and then yeah the ultimate goal by the end of the year is to be
into uh into physical stores and also doing pop-ups during main events uh main web 3 events
but this in my opinion it's also the strength of a group like nba europe it's like i don't know
we could do this uh pop-up between us like oh there is nft london coming who who wants to do
a pop-up so yeah let's go grateful we feature the chocolate we feature a staunch we can do that with
like a big fridge on the back with a lot of mutants beer we can do that between us because
that's the power of a decentralized brand decentralized brands we can do it we don't

very very odd especially for me that i'm not a good photographer but the view is is stunning and

what's your distribution channel if you want to share so if you are if you are focused mostly on
web 3 audience or if you are aiming for web 2 and what's your distribution how you you know

the acquisition go ahead guys and uh then i would love to hear more about the game syvo
i know there there's there are probably a lot of secrets so um i know that you don't want to share

know gaming project um that our core audience currently is um web 3 obviously because we are
you know focused on integrating all those amazing collections out there so it's kind of um you know
it's planned for the long term to you know appeal to web 2 as well and like introduce mechanics for
like web 2 people who don't care about the nfts and the technology behind it to be able to use
like nfts in a game without actually knowing that they are doing it but for now it's it's
yeah mostly web 3 also i think it's the similar like with dookie dash and yuga games right like
you can test what works what doesn't work and then you can go like uh you know like dookie
dash will be uh mobile for uh for everyone i think that's an amazing step uh they figure out
or they try that it works that we love it so why not to scale it to to everyone right so uh that's
uh that's a great approach yeah yeah definitely and then in our case they're also like the the
possibility of like all the the storing telling we're doing so we have a lot of plans to um you
know do more than just um you know browser gaming experience so they're i don't know we can go into
like um you know building comic or creating comics or books um maybe even i don't know that's far
fetched but maybe like movies and tv shows something like that but that's really you know
long term yeah that's great i absolutely love storytelling uh i know american ape is working
on such an amazing not only comic but also animated animated series and he's totally a role
model in this regards and yeah he got you know a lot of connections and really
a lot of experience in that and so it's it's really awesome to see what he's doing

listening to the the accent of our italian friends i'm not mocking you i'm alph italian
and i remember i was passing by at night next to the collisio and there's that this guy who actually
put his hand on my back he was like oh but they put you at the club and it was one of the funny
moment because everyone was tweeting about you know the first time someone recognized the hoodie
and to me it was the very first oh my god that pronunciation was so good tik what do you think

you know our license but yeah i think i think it's still early for us you know
we just started leveraging with on the license and our focus is mainly for web 2 companies so
traditional companies but obviously we are very you know happy to work with web 3 companies and
actually to collaborate i am already in touch with some of you and i really can't wait to you know

products and so basically you bring the items on blockchain is that is that correct

chips for that so the link gets broken if you try and share it which means that no one can actually
claim the ownership if they don't have the link and then we also built a system where we let
basically the person that claimed renounce the ownership of the object so whoever buys it after
can reclaim it and get the ownership of that uh that item so yeah that's what we do it's
it's fun we really like it actually that's awesome that's awesome yeah uh i love how we
can play with those chips i recently wore those clonax shoes or sneakers and i found out there's
also an fc chip that you can use and scan i don't know what it does but the t-shirt does the same
so you know we're gonna have next week actually we have a space with g money and 90cc he utilizes
those chips a lot we had so much fun collecting pull-ups it's really great dim by the way are you
thinking about actually uh you know using those chips too in your in your uh in your t-shirts
and in your clothing yes but very scarcely and it will be on very very limited physical stuff
not t-shirts um well for two simple reason basically uh i do collect stuff i do collect
a lot of stuff from playing cards to to things and and i do use what i collect so for example
when there is this iron brand nft brands doing t-shirts or fashion and i get one of the the
piece i wear it and the thing is that i'm very bad you know with food especially especially
pasta and i eat pasta like once a day at least so whenever i i'm wearing white i always get stained
and uh so that's a big issue because you do have this very expensive t-shirt and you actually
you mess it up so to me the way one of the things that i do with sarge is um the hoodie that has
swappable front patches so basically you have your base hoodie with a velcro patch on the
on the front and you can actually get very limited patches and swap them whenever you want
so the the scarcity of the design and of the the piece of clothes is not in the
in the garment itself is in the patch for example that you can swap and if you're like me you you
get stain uh you do a hole in it or something you just get another hoodie and you can just keep
your patches collection so i will use that but on more like physical items i'm exploring the way
to do it with the skate deck i mentioned earlier and i really want it to to to be like a very very
specific and precious thing again it's not going to be tied to an nft and it's not going to cost
15 just to link uh your t-shirt to to an nft um yeah i can justify that and i'm against this kind
of stuff yeah and again i'm not a dev so i don't have the power to to build like very crazy
platforms um for this kind of stuff but yeah that's my take man those patches that that's
really interesting i think i saw it in in berlin right you you had a uh you had a you had there
it's really dope you can change the design right i like that yeah and there is a new one a glow in
the dark that came out like a few weeks ago and i'm i'm gonna experiment and very very limited
and precious materials too um i don't know like i want to do one with like fake snakeskin or
something like limited to 20 pieces and leather specific very very specific materials and yeah
anything is possible that's awesome i love love all those ideas uh i'm really thinking about
if if we have some some kind of way how to help new apes that are thinking about actually building
around their ip you know maybe something easier that they can start like maybe some kind of
licensing deal i know showbiz uh he got uh he got into the into the mutants or in into the into our
family and you know he's having such a great time he was uh on the ape fest and he was also thinking
about licensing so i think for these people have some kind of you know help give them a give them
a hand and help them uh with ip with the first steps that would be also dope for 2024 but yeah

fun stuff that happened to you related to made by apes or building ip or you know maybe even even

or directory of people what they do would be also dope right like hey i need a website so you have
like these made by apes that can help you with that uh that's that's quite great idea man so

she's working on this ice cream and i guess it's not easy to get like in europe uh you know from
the states and start starting also here so i think it's also like the the super powerful
things that we can actually help with oh 100 and that's one of the goals i think you know
creating like european made by apes it's not like we are here against us that's not 100 not that
it's about hey we can establish uh some things for you guys and if you need any help here
uh you know we can help you with the lawyers we can help you uh to get here on the on the market
and also we can use that we are really close to each other here you know for example uh when there
was uh uh the the demo the other side demo in berlin you know there can be board kitchen maybe
as a catering there can be some other things i don't know but we can we can unite and cooperate
and uh build something build something epic i oh my god i i had a ringstone ready because genos
yeah gene that's gene yeah gene's calling he he want to get into european market but
yeah gene um send some eat first and we can talk later uh vicki how you doing welcome here
gm gm a fantastic space as always guys um i think yeah there's been a lot of conversations in the
last 24 hours reignited a few fires lit a few fires and other people's arses etc um and i think
that the common theme is that everyone obviously wants everyone to succeed but it when you start
breaking it down it is a really mammoth task it's not as easy as yes you can start a space and go
welcome you apes you know congratulations you know you've bought this this monkey where next
but when you logistically start to break down i've been looking at everyone's comments and
work and i already said to myself a welcome space for example let alone the made by apes
they've just bought a monkey jpeg where do they start oh they come to a welcome space
then you go well hang on a minute it can't be necessarily the same host and co-host you need
at least three to four different time zones you need at least probably three or four different
languages to ensure as well that obviously people don't get left behind and there's already someone
there that they can reach out to so um i kind of understand why when you try and do it as well
because everyone's so passionate and everyone's like yeah we should do this we should do that
and i'm always a big proponent of not using discord because everybody wants to what i say
everybody quite a lot of apes want to use discord but for me that is just another form of token
gating everybody i would much rather see everybody build publicly and support each other publicly
so that when the masses eventually do come or even or even they don't come but people want to
join they have an idea of they don't need to be some kind of discord freak when you know maybe
they're over 50 but they can enjoy everything the club has to bring because they've seen it on the
timeline so um i think things will evolve in the next kind of week or so we can get the ball rolling
and even if it doesn't stay the same host or co-host it's some people are louder than others
and that's great and sometimes i have to be louder than others to make sure that basically
the women are included as well and uh that's the part that i dislike the most because it should
just be naturally everybody fucking included regardless of of gender or country so um that's
something that we can all work towards in our own timelines as well so great space today and i just
my difficulty is that with all these beautiful products coming out i'm like hmm i'm in florida
can i get that can i buy that can i afford it will it get shipped like that's my daily battle
of trying to work out again because some of the food products i could potentially use in our ice
cream and obviously the normies as well as obviously web3 people get to try it out so
all great ideas are welcome yeah that's that's the thing especially with the physical physical
products right it's like the chocolate it's it's probably impossible to ship it to florida like
from here right so you you 100 need to find some distributor that's why i mentioned ceo now you've
got to fly out you'll have to fly out grateful it's like you're going to come to miami at some point
and i'm about four hours drive so you and beast will have to do like a road trip a live road trip
of delivering chocolate to me i'm i'm here for it i love miami i'm in i'm in also i'm a hundred
percent in uh you know miami i actually you know back in the day long long time ago in different
galaxy uh i was in in miami uh there was like my first time uh to be first time in um in like
what's the name of that it's not like a like a school to learn english yeah so my accent is
basically from miami you know uh a lot of people they are wondering if it's like uh l.a or miami
you know jean is of course not sure if it's l.a where he's from but yeah uh so miami uh that
that's your fault that i have this east coast accent but the advocate 100 degree um i also think
that to onboard new people uh they should have and and that's why i love a new website right
like new website talks about the history of apes right uh talks about what happened with the
mutant mint and and and doggos etc because if you buy ape right now you you don't know maybe
that there are other collections right there's the other side too so uh maybe it can be like uh
onboarding to a new company you know i i know it sounds terrible but uh you have a materials to
learn more in a fun way uh to get like onboard it into the community uh many many great ideas
and also with spaces um you know i'm talking to to captain also uh how to put this together
so we can go you know maybe week one is like european spaces which is not token gated to people
only from europe but the topic is like european made by apes and and things what we can do together
next week can be uh america you know canada uh usa and you know there i know there are
builders also uh in brazil and other countries in south south america so and then we can go asia
but it's very hard to put these time zones together like two spaces asia us and europe together is uh
it's very challenging you know so but i think this is a great first step and it doesn't have to be
that i'm the host right like we can rotate you know the next time dim can be host and and sivo
and tick and and brendan and uh you know uh gene etc so we can rotate and we can keep going i think
i think it has a huge potential actually to uh for me spaces are i i i listen and and watch the
the the masterclass with richard branson and when he started his magazine back in the day in uk
he was like i learned so much by doing interviews with entrepreneurs because i could ask whatever i
want and they gave me the the know-how and the knowledge and i feel the same about the spaces
you know we have amazing guests here uh amazing community members and i learned so much from you
so i think it can be really beneficial for everyone too because for us if you have more
builders and more people pushing ip it's it's amazing so yeah uh so many great ideas uh yeah
maybe i'll try to uh you know summarize everything and share it with you guys somehow uh you know
through chat gpt i don't know i'll try to do something because there are many great ideas today

seeing this space um specifically for eu is is awesome it's amazing um and you know i personally

wandering around and trying to meet as many um apes as i can and just uh just a fun story of um
you know how global the club is and specific to mba's um you know we've we've been in talks with
um an mba european ape to help with some production distribution first stuff
um out there um and so it's just another example of how how vast the network is whatever
whatever country whatever continent you're on there's always going to be some apes um that
that are also willing to help out you know it's not just that they're present it's just it's also
that they would love to help out in that sense too right so it's just the quantity and the quality
of the network that that's what makes um this so special and i i just i love building here and
and uh i can't wait to to kind of keep going and seeing what's next man love it and you are one of
the uh not made by apes it's even before made by apes you are one of the ipog's man when i saw
your first time in new york city it was nft nyc 2022 man you got pins you got the best you got the
beanies you got everything there and i was really inspired like you were one of the first people
that i was like wow he's really pushing ip and i want to do that too so uh big shout out to jean uh
if you're also thinking about uh the the byc council and and voting for made by apes i think
jean is uh amazing uh candidate for that uh because he's been working with so many
brands and doing so much stuff so uh absolutely love that
and maybe that's a good question guys anyone here on stage uh uh anyone is going for a byc
council i know sarah sarah is going and somehow she already won it congrats love that uh sarah is
uh amazing pink ape love her love her art love what she's doing for the club and if anyone else
is going uh just share okay yeah i mean um oh this is this probably the first space that i've
come out and and announced but yeah i guess i'm uh i'm planning to to run for council specifically
on the nba side just because um you know building with apes and brands is kind of what i've been
doing even even before uh nba uh was put together um uh and so it's kind of second nature for me at
this point my web 2 background was in building brands and doing strategy for um some big cpg
brands here in the u.s you know they're actually global now obviously bg water i'm wonderful and
a couple other sort of um cpg brands that you might see in the grocery stores and whatnot so
it's it's sort of taking that sort of web 2 experience and bring it to web 3 and specifically
to apes um and in very much a a consultative type of relationship um and that's sort of
where i got started and and i haven't stopped so still here doing this stuff i love i love it i
love building brands i love apes so it it just kind of makes the most sense for me love it man
so you went from fiji water to a border uh i think that's that's amazing let's go let's go and
yeah can't wait to have a water here in europe um that's going to be another uh man i have to i
have to tell you liquid death is like spreading like a plague here so we need to do something
against that actually i love we like intro at ape water we love liquid death because they're
teaching the world that it's okay to drink water out of a can there's that sort of um there's
there's a thing called second mover advantage that you know that i've seen in the space where
the first brand comes in and does all the education and then the next brands just come in
and mop up after that right um there's there's been a few examples like i think like c alice
and biagra like c alice came in and educated the market but then biagra took took i don't know
about that man i don't know about that but i can talk about water
this is the point where somebody else is bringing up old examples if sales are going up up up
exactly well something's going up so but uh anyways we'll we'll leave it there um but yeah so
we we love we love liquid death we love what they're doing they're they're sort of helping to
educate the the enemy is not uh other canned water it's it's sort of plastic and all these
other like non very difficult to recycle type of type of things and so yeah that's where we are
epic epic can't wait man uh are you going for nft powers actually
i'm not unfortunately damn but i know that's a really fun one seeing all the pictures from
last year specifically so i'm i'll i'll miss it this year but uh um hope maybe next year we'll
we'll do a european trip are we gonna see a water in paris jean um no so uh sorry to make
make this a space about a water but uh um we actually ran out of water we ran out of inventory
um we had they had launched vegas um not too long ago and and it sold sort of three times
faster than expected so like it's a it's a problem it's it's a good problem but it's a problem
nonetheless um and so they're in the process of replenishing inventories and you know getting
stuff um back in stock they're they're working on east coast distribution right now and so
um getting out to other countries is tough just because in terms of where you and this is just
advice for anyone in general like nba nba brand's building it's like there's all these cool
opportunities um you know in a lot of places around the world sometimes and sometimes the
best answer is no um in this case it didn't it didn't make sense because let's say we do get
you know nft paris wants to make a water the the the water of the conference right um we spend
you know 30 40 000 to get water out there and whatnot and then let's say people love it and
they drink it and they and then they want to go buy it there's no place for them to actually
convert after that right it's just it's just kind of like wasted marketing spend or it's just not
it's inefficient marketing spend at that point so you've got to kind of um be strategic especially
when you're starting and you know funds are are tight you got to be very very strategic about
where you launch and and where you spend your money and your your time and your efforts too
right this is such a great point you know it happened to us all the time because we are
available only in czech republic right now and you know in hong kong everyone was like oh shit
i love the chocolate where can i buy it i was like oh travel to prac you know i can send you
some here about uh yeah that's uh that's a bummer uh and i also started like oh we need to be
everywhere so i started talking with uh with distributors in europe and u.s etc and i spent
so much time with with with those uh meetings um so uh you know the much better uh much better way
was to actually uh start here and um have a solid distribution here we are in the middle of the
europe and from here maybe go to germany or france you know pick one country and go step by step
because this was really time consuming and it didn't lead where i expected uh so i'm working
on different strategy and it already worked so much better uh because i i see so many so
many more opportunities so it's really exciting um it's uh it's a journey it's gonna takes time
but uh it's so much fun you know to uh to onboard new people into web3 and to to expand the the ip
to actually web2 audience so uh love that love that journey guys i know we were aiming for
for 90 minutes uh so we are already five minutes over so if anyone want to share anything before

are building but you know i wanted to also bring up well two things one about the vayc council
like grateful that's awesome man and i think the uh the amount of people that are kind of there's
only like three spots for these three different roles but that shortlist is going to be
like all winners and i don't think we can go wrong when it comes to people willing to just raise
their hand and step up in a way that they can make it even a bigger impact and i think it lends
itself into my second point of um just the discussion around like as we build and we think
about the community ip infrastructure or the made by apes infrastructure i think one of the biggest
hurdles like gene was kind of calling out too um is is distribution and i think there are there are
definitely some solutions out there and i just kind of popped up here to kind of just ideate out
loud um and see like if people have different connections or ideas or solutions for somewhat of
a distribution center or service where it it sometimes it's tough to uh you know like order a
shirt but then shipping and customs and all that stuff just make the product um way more expensive
if it's going to another country and you know we're a globalized brand decentralized brand and so it
would be great if we did know uh or had the ability to store some of these items in different
countries that is you know subsidized for made by apes brands and i don't know if that is like
us coming up with like a budget you know for made by apes not necessarily a dowel so to speak but
i don't know how that would work uh in fact i'd try and get away from down stuff but if it was
even in partnership with yuga and they wanted to support something like that um i think there's
there could be some really good ideas where if you can imagine getting all the grateful chocolate
um you know over here in the u.s in bulk and then having the ability to distribute
uh over here and i know a lot of brands like you know larger brands um sometimes they do
like releases in different countries at different times um due to this um so it's just something
that i think a lot of us could really benefit from um and even if it starts small and we
come together to figure out like who who would be some of the brands uh that have products that we
could potentially store in the distribution center and when an order comes through they're
able to fulfill it you know versus uh us having to like right now for some products it makes sense
to order in bulk if you're going to pay a certain amount you know but to have like just a couple
chocolates sent over um that could be really expensive you know more than the chocolate it's
kind of like the like we need the l2 type thing you know but um yeah i just wanted to throw that
out there because i know how this community like moves and you know when an idea is planted some
people take it and run with it and just like we all collectively find solutions together but
you know i think when it comes like this space and hearing all of these really awesome made by
brands and products uh you know i'm over here in los angeles and hearing all about all of this
in europe like i can only imagine all the different places in the world where we're
going to need a solution at some point yeah i think this is great point hundred percent and um
i think if we work together to find those distribution centers because i know they are
of course they are in the u.s i already did a little research for chocolate and products like
like food you need uh like the the control temperature and it exists you know so they
basically have a trucks that they are cooled so they can distribute chocolate uh so it's
a hundred percent uh possible you know so i think this is really important that's why when we are
talking as european apes for us it's so easy to ship here because it's basically one market right
and the issue starts when you're shipping abroad to to u.s you know overseas etc and you know dim
if you're doing like a custom one of one t-shirts that's always tricky right so you probably have to
if you want to do it you need to find a partner that prints in in u.s probably right but then you
need to have a quality control etc etc i don't know if it's possible well with the vision that
i have it's not the idea is like everything is there is no like uh drop shipping or anything
it's like fully handmade and and like with great attention to details i definitely don't want to
use any external company for this kind of stuff it's funny because i was shown um nana i was talking
with you earlier um and he mentioned that yeah this shipping is a pain i know it and we know it
for so long in europe because when we want to get some ba yc merch we actually a $45 t-shirt we pay
$50 shipping plus $50 of uh custom fees because in europe we get custom fees on everything that
we import so this is actually a big pain that we go through um short term the id that i came up with
and that will be a live for the net next drop of sange it's called the sange vault so basically
when you order something you are able to put it in the vault so if it's a custom one one one t-shirt
i will produce it and put it like in the storage room um and whenever you want you can just drop
me a message and say oh by the way i have these three orders that i made in the past few months
i'm ready to get them now so let's let's let's do the shipping and let's start that
so this is of course uh until we get uh maybe something better but i do love this idea of
distribution center it definitely works with projects with uh stock etc i do love it but yeah
yeah dim that's oh sorry to interrupt go ahead no no that that was it you know i think that
is a really innovative solution that some people could think about as well you know uh when they
have their made by its brands and as like for instance grateful if you continue to make different
ones you know i can like as they come out you know eventually it can be distributed i don't
know how how long chocolate lasts but um you know if if we think about it holistically as like
everyone that purchases stuff with like made by apes in in europe and we knew there was like
you know um mba loot box coming like we you know are able to ship it all over to the other country
at one time and then distribute those different made by apes products um in you know once it
arrives in that country even though it's like different made by apes brands you know so that's
that's kind of like if there there's probably ways we can work together on this i know it's going
to be tough um to figure out logistics and you know services that would accompany this but
you know dim you what you uh laid out with the vault and you already thinking about that and
not waiting for anyone else to you know find a solution for you i think is genius so
yeah keep up the great work guys i also have an idea uh just don't take the idea seriously
because uh you know we are talking to public so but i'm watching uh documentary on netflix and
they are using speedboats for uh for distribution it's also about uh it's also happening in miami
so dim i don't know maybe that's the way you know how to get your t-shirt into the oh you
uh on speedboats definitely wherever you want i have no idea how do you um yeah but yeah we'll

how you doing today welcome here hello hello i'm doing just great um this was really a fascinating
discussion and i absolutely love the idea of there being like a shipping central for the apes
and um you know who knows maybe somebody has a connection to become like a subsidiary of amazon
or something which already has international shipping so down that they probably you know
something could probably be figured out you know to to make that all work because it is a global
community and we are all uh each other's global customers you know my myself included so you know
i would love a way to be able to get my hands on some of that chocolate and you know all all the
other stuff that's across the pond that being in the east coast usa i i can't reach so i think
that that's a fabulous idea and you know if if if we could get ape coin to to um you know sponsor it
so somebody could build it that would be great anyway i think it's a terrific idea and i think
there are a lot of really awesome um businesses going on and just a little a little shill for my
business i finally have my shop running and navigating correctly so now i'm full time um
on designing the product for for the the board a part of it which is board style and i will be
dm-ing a bunch of you and feel free to dm me if you'd like to collaborate with me um my big
intention is that i i really love this brand and i love the way it's creating a new business paradigm
for the 21st century of an instead of cutthroat competition like hundreds of these businesses
who are all out to support each other and promote each other and i think the more we co-promote the
better off everybody is so what i'm doing is is collaborating with other brands and and creating
designs with their logo and their labels and their their products and and you know putting it out there
and and any profits on the on um you know like like like i'm specializing right now in board socks
so if you're collaborating with me and and your socks sell you know however however many socks
we we split the percentage of not the percentage we we split the profits on the socks that sold of
your brand so like and it doesn't cost anything it's not like i'm saying well you know you know
if you give me such and such an amount of money i'll put your socks on my site you know it's it's
it's just nothing it's it's completely free and it's it's it's cross-pollination and i i think it's
a cool idea and it's what i'm looking to do so um you know feel free to DM me if you're an NBA
because i'm only um you know working with MBAs and i'd love to include yours so that's that's
the story and i want poncho but don't tell i want to make poncho socks but don't tell
so i don't know if it's poncho or uh poncho joe oh lovely lovely i'm after you know i want i
want everybody if i could have all the eight businesses i'd be i'd be you know happy as a
clam to to have everybody up and who knows maybe you know wearing mba socks could become
like the trendiest thing happening all over the place that would be awesome then everybody makes
money and everybody's brand is on everybody's feet i i think that would be kind of hilarious so
that's that's my story love it joe's and also love that you connected all the orange big round
apes youtube screenshot and you posted it i love it guys i loved it uh yeah i think it was it was

journey to build something together and as i mentioned before i'm really really pumped for 2024
and i really feel that we are getting together and building something that you know we really

great things a lot of great ideas definitely we have to do these spaces again uh i think we start
the regular ones after nft paris because the next week uh we're gonna be you know vibing there

have to go to louv to check the mona lisa if it still looks the same i i'm sorry to say to the
people that are coming from abroad and wanted to see the fl tower i just heard on the radio earlier
today that it might be on strike and i'm not kidding so maybe next week because it's holidays
for the children um probably the fl tower will be closed and yes we have a reputation of people
going on strike all the time i won't disagree i don't do it but i won't disagree okay i felt
our will be on strike uh that's crazy probably yes damn that was the highlight for me but uh
we gotta make it anyway uh so yeah beast do you want to add anything before i wrap it up i i pick

we were talking about like the how we can actually use the ip back in 2021 and then suddenly like
few like a year or two later we actually see over how many now like over 500 uh products
for 500 brands being built actually uh from this and i think this is exactly the same what's gonna
happen now so it can be like this space can really be you know like when we look back in a year or two
or five and we listen to it we can be like wow i mean you know we were chatting about it and all
these things happened so really bullish on you guys like uh thanks for joining us today and for
