what's up in a second but let's have a little friend uh a little friendly fun with my friend

my dead friends let's go let's go
yo i'm gonna all my friends are dead i'm gonna be honest if i ever meet you uh my
dead friends in real life when we meet i'm gonna ask you to do something like that in real life just because uh it's that's amazing man it's
it's too good everyone how y'all doing happy thursday appreciate everyone coming through
we shared it on the timeline like we said go ahead and share that out let other homies know
we're coming through uh got a lot to talk about today a lot of you guys building really cool stuff
think the homie buddha might come through and talk about what he's cooking up afterwards we're gonna play a
little poker have some fun because the table's right there why the hell not different poker
tables downstairs like we learned last week if uh these ones get a little hard to get on
but as we said let's start with what we were talking about max given or Law was giving us the question about the recent change in the timeline post.
You know, the Nokia kind of just getting a little bit different.
Illa, you want to speak on that?
We definitely are changing the voice of a BAYC, the positioning of the brand, and I think it's something that's
warranted, and it comes from internal conversations and also listening to the community, man.
See, we've seen a lot of the same questions repeated over and over and over and over in
the timeline, and, you know, it's our job to listen to the feedback
and answer those questions.
So it doesn't come out like, hey, let me just DM you
or let me send them to reply.
It's like, all right, what's the action we can do
to actually show where we're going with BAYC?
And like Mac was saying when I first pulled up,
shout out to the other side team,
because they have weathered the storm
and you see the dividends as far as how
the engagement they're getting, the participation,
all these different communities are coming
through the woodworks and posting about
taking their avatars into other um other side and actually doing dope
activations and in our communities they're supporting them so more of that man more of that
but we're gonna do that that over here in byc because you know this is the foundation of the
whole so that's a lot for noticing like the very first you know the very first not even chapter the very first
word in the in the in the on the page like that's what you that's what that's why we got that's why
we do this man the community is very perceptive yeah i think there's a lot of fun to be had and
like i told you guys always cooking behind the scenes uh shout out to the other side team for
building up such a strong uh resilience uh
in the time like let's start with let's give some love to the other uh games team because mac honey
b g spot hype you guys really started something that brought a lot of people into this world mac
i'm gonna throw it to you let's do a little recap man what's it been like over the last few months
doing this because it started from you guys just starting something on your own to now it's almost like weekly activations for all sorts
of stuff you don't mind i'd love to actually just off the top ask you how how is that going what has
it been like how are you feeling in the journey you know uh i'll i'll tell you it's surreal but
it's it's life man it's uh when you have conviction for
something when you believe in something and and like you're not afraid to be who you are and let
your intentions like shine through and move in in a way like i think it's just been really easy
for me just to like you know uh i don't know how would you say like move in this direction you know what i'm saying like Like, I don't know. So it's like I said, it's been a little surreal, but I got it. I got to keep my feet planted on the ground. And it's a day by day. And no matter what, like the road that we're going down, you got to work it every day. You know what I'm saying? Like there's no there's no there's no cheating to what we're doing or where we're going. When you're building in public, you're growing your community in public,
you know what I'm saying?
And everybody's watching.
So it's been a little surreal,
but like I'm very, I feel very blessed.
And I know that, hey, like, you know,
every day I'm just looking for that next way,
that next way to improve myself,
my direction, where we're going with the club,
where we're going with our IPs,
all of these things, you know what I'm saying?
Whether it's storytelling, event hosting,
onboarding, giving tours, whatever it is. Like it's, it's one of those,
you know, when you're in the trenches, it's day by day. So I'm,
I'm in love with it, Baron. Like, like to,
to put it in other words, like people could understand or something,
you know what I'm saying? Because it's life and it's, it's, it's, yo,
this is one that's worth living.
You're so poetic, dude. You really are really are you you got away with words man i love it mac i'm happy to see the journey i see the love that the community gives you guys for all the fun that you bring to
their their time here so appreciate all that you guys do hey it was cool to to meet hype and uh
not meet hype but see hype cg spot see some other la apes for anyone who
made it to the korean barbecue shout out to figgy uh for being there spicy for putting it together
with the homies i think hype put it together but uh it's nice when we do irl it's truly undefeated
man get to see some friends that you play spend some time with i'm saying play with but like i
guess we play with each other in the other side it's a weird phrasing but you know what i mean we do uh and then to see the homies in real life and chop
it up about all different sorts of stuff this club is is quite a eclectic group of folks with
very interesting uh things that they're into yeah i mean at the end of the day um max max couldn't i couldn't have said it better bro like
you have to live a life worth living and i think that's that's part of the ethos of this club
that that we're gonna be you know continuing to build on at the end of the day like
we all we showed up here in 2021 the club was founded in 2021
it's 2026 you ain't going nowhere we're still one of the the biggest voices in the space
and we shipped one of the the best products that web3 has ever seen with other side
that's right step w other side and you know the proof is in the pudding i love that the work that mac did
and and honeybee and then and hype and the entire team and rita like there's so many people there's
too many people to name but you got to give everybody their flowers and you know the proof
is like i said the proof is in the pudding all these projects like shout out to um world of women
they came and did an activation and was posting about it and went on the timeline and was giving
the flowers to the other game team and everyone on how welcoming our community was and how how
dope other side is so more and more like people like jon, man. Lord knows me and Jonah have had our moment.
But he's like, yo, like, other side is where it's at.
We show up every single day.
Before I came into the clubhouse, Baron, you know, as we all do, we pop in the Nexus.
I see big cuz in there. I see a bunch of people just chopping it up.
And I did, like, a quick run through and then came and jumped into the portal.
I see motherfucking April and span outside talking.
And I come in here and I'm like, yo, this is a total vibe, man.
This is the beginning of something special.
No fucking blowing smoke or blowing air.
Like, it's really something special and undeniable.
I don't give a fuck what nobody said.
Fact. It's really something special and undeniable. I don't give a fuck what nobody said. Facts.
Mac have been grinding forever.
Like, from, uh, what's it?
Kid Beast and all those other communities that you're a staple in.
Y'all do that Sunday, bro.
Listen, it don't stop, bro. We can't stop. The hustle that sunday bro listen it don't stop bro we can't
stop the hustle doesn't stop the grind don't stop bro you know what i'm saying not whenever you're
in the sequel you saying something baron no man i was looking for buddha i know buddha wanted to
come up and talk about something that he's cooking up i see him over on the side so i was looking for buddha i know buddha wanted to come up and talk about something that he's cooking up i see him over on the side so i was looking for his name buddha go ahead and request
so i could bring you up if you're a speaker already just say what's good uh i know if you
guys also ever want to talk about what you're building what you're cooking in the community
and you want to talk about it here this is a perfect place to do is just hit illa up
hit myself up before and then we'll make some time for you yo um i got i got a question because i heard him say some interesting things he said you're
changing the voice um yeah is there any auditions no no i'm messing with you but listen i i noticed
that some of the direction of like this new advertisement like with the nokia phone and
stuff like that the beeper all that like it was very reminiscent of the art style from 8Fest.
Like it almost like carried off like that,
like a presence, like a new direction type shit.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, is it just what it feels like to me?
I'm gonna let it go to you, Illa,
but like, I end up on five years, man.
It's nice to still have freshness in the club, you know?
Yeah, we got to keep reinventing it.
You know what I'm saying?
That's the beauty of Web3 is that, you know,
our community is in the same room with us.
the same room with us you know what i'm saying or right next door so it's not like we're we're
You know what I'm saying?
in some walled garden and some tower on top of the hills ivory tower it's like nah man we
in the trenches every day and that's you know every web3 team whose work they want to wait
has the community theme or have people that's in the trenches and they gotta show up every single day and we do that so when we see somebody maybe may do a threat on the timeline it may not be a
positive red you know what i mean and i'm cool with that because i'm in i read the thread and
i read the comments i'm like all right boom there's something like worth doing a pm for
or just something that we just have a conversation
internally and we work to elevate um or amplify whatever the grievance is on the on the timeline
don't think sometimes people just want to get you know it's having a bad day and want to get it out
you got to let them do that other times especially if the comments is like, the sentiment in the comments is overwhelmingly agreeing with whatever the sentiment in the comments is saying.
Not an easy thing, but hey, it's worth it being in Web3 and showing up every fucking day and showing out every fucking day.
Oh, shit, we got Figgy in here.gie what's up baby going on guys have you started the
singularity yet it was good scene there's good scene a bunch of you folks uh in la on monday that was really good
nice to just get together that's the thing that i kind of miss a lot about those early days in
2021 just people putting together their own meetups like it doesn't need to be something that uh that
is like super coordinated like just wherever even like three or four club members getting together
like a pretty good vibe it was good seeing everybody thank you to hype and putting it together
um yeah there's a lot going man there's we've got a big update next week for other side um march
5th update and we've got big stuff this week too so well actually you know we should get into that the so we're gonna crack open the mml
world and honestly we're gonna do it like today or tomorrow one of the things i've been hearing
though is that like you get kind of technical about it um there's one feature about mml when
people use it it's like causing the world to get stuck at times and so somebody's got to like unstuck it and
i'm just kind of weighing it right now honestly because we could turn it on but it might be a
bad user experience because we have to keep like restarting that mml experimental world and like
whenever we do it your work kind of like doesn't stick right now so we could we could do it but then it'll probably
ruin like james hall and pm's weekend and i kind of don't need to ruin their weekend because like
we've got a big release next week or we could just work on monday so i don't know which way we're
going to go yet but like maybe we do it tomorrow or maybe we do a monday but the point is we're
gonna have a big like coding another side, and it probably will be messy.
I mean, this is just with the testers right now. It's getting crazy.
So when we get everybody in there, who knows what's going to happen?
But I'm looking forward to it, man. It's good to see all this stuff.
I feel positive about it, man.
Some people are like, AI is going to destroy everything.
It's going to be Terminator. it's going to be skynet i just think like it's a great point of leverage and it's something we should lean into
on the platform because it's only going to get bigger and bigger and um yeah there's also one
more thing aside from like whether or not to release mml today tomorrow or monday which is
the agent api and i think that that's something that's gonna be a really cool
toy for everybody to play with um so there's a lot there's a lot going on already on top of the
normal releases already on top of the fact that we're like taking a lot of new folks that join
the team from london and having to like merge them into the group like i think we're just going to
keep picking up more steam in the coming month but it is good that like while all this complexity is happening we're still able to do the rituals
that we normally do and we're still able to deliver and kind of not get stuck in the mud in
fact it yeah when I look around it's true what Illa was saying like I talked to Jonah on uh you know
Coffee with Captain last week on the spaces normally i don't join coffee with captain because like i live on the west coast so it would be like 5 a.m for me it's pretty tough
but i joined because i was in london and i gotta say everybody's rooting for other side i think at
the end of the day when you look around you're like yeah that's that's a thing that they're
going for it you know they're really going for it and i think you know as far
as chain narratives go it's a really you need a killer app like any chain without a killer app
doesn't there's not really a purpose for it you look like coinbase the coinbase base isn't the
killer app it's like coinbase is the killer app right like that's their app hyperliquid it's got
hyperliquid and i really do think like what we're building everything around here with other side it's still a lot of work to do i think we've got a big update on the fifth
but um and then i think we're also leaning into like vibe coding and agent api so who knows where
that's gonna lead um but i feel like it is one of the most genuinely exciting things about crypto
like when i meet people right now there's
a lot of stuff happening in la a lot of dinners happening this week because freeze la is happening
there's a lot of like investors in la i want to ask them like what are you keeping your eye on
like what's really interesting a lot of people just say like other side it's like it's such an
interesting thing and we tried to target sorry this is like one long tirade, but last thing, you know, our goal was to target like one release a week.
Or sorry, one release a month just to keep everything going.
But like, I'm pretty proud of the team that they've been releasing something every week for the month of February.
That's kind of like an unheard of release schedule for a project this big.
But I think it's what the community needs.
I think it's not even what our community needs what our space really needs it's just to see that sense
of progress and to give people a place to like unite um okay i lied i said that was the last
thing there's one more thing pretty bullish i'll say you know i was looking at the um
at the active user numbers and what's really cool is in december we were we were pretty solid
but january beat december's numbers and february has already beaten january's numbers and i'm
hoping that in march we could beat february's numbers so just like every month we've been
climbing and climbing with with more communities getting in and part of that yeah is other games
part of that is just like i think we're improving the platform and there's more reasons to be on it and people when they want
to figure out where to spend their time on web 3 like this is one of the premier places that's
growing faster than anywhere else so i'm stoked to be here guys um you know i always try to pop
in and talk at meet me at the clubhouse i think it's really important to give people updates about
other side you guys are all here in other side so i'm happy to you know chime in after any questions that
i think i can answer but i think it's a bullish time and i really encourage everybody like
if you're if you're in a town and you know there's other people that might want to get together just
have dinner with them it's it's the greatest thing like having an in real life event is better than like months of discord so yeah shout out everybody oh there's a london thing
that happened too we had a london event but i'm gonna i've been talking a while so i'm gonna have
the mic back over to you guys i'm gonna jump in and just kind of ramble for a second because i
think we love this like i don't know about i'll speak for everyone else myself i'm enjoying this because you bring so much news and information that we're all craving
so i would love to hear what you thought about that london event we talked about it last week
as well but we know you guys were traveling yeah yeah i was out of pocket last week but you know
one of the things is we so we onboarded like 26 new people in London.
So there's a big part of Yuga that's in London now.
And one of the things that I thought was important was, well, this guy Mark from W1 Curates.
He's like one of the most tap-hitting people into culture in London.
Like that guy is like really working.
He's actually opening up a similar setup in Ibiza in May.
But like the London setup is pretty cool.
It's kind of like, you know, their Times Square.
And the whole building is clad in LED screens.
And he's got a basement that also is a bunch of LED screens too.
And the really cool thing is like in the
middle of us you know giving the orientation setting the goals for other
side with this new team we were able to like take them to a community event and
for this one of the the hard things about Yuga doesn't have a central office
like a bunch of us work remotely but moments like Ape Fest moments like community events where we get people together, it really grounds us.
And so it was really cool for all these new folks to be able to meet all the London Aids
Like there's so many of the London community that came out to visit.
And I think it gives the people working on the project a much better grasp of like what the
profile is in real life like nfc holders are really eclectic like again i think people think
they're gonna like run into a bunch of people that look like traditional gamers like you know
guys that are in their like maybe late teens or early 20s or something like that but then once you
see all of these people in a room you're like whoa the demographic is actually completely different that are in their like maybe late teens or early 20s or something like that but then once you see
all of these people in a room you're like whoa the demographic is actually completely different
it's much more aligned with like collectors and collectors is a big tam there's like big
total address market for collectors and so it like really puts things into perspective when you can
meet with these people have conversations with them they can can ask you questions. They can share what they really care about.
So yeah, the London event was really good for both the community and all the new folks
that were joining and myself, honestly.
Just great to see everybody out there in Europe.
I'm hoping we could do more.
Yeah, that venue was so fucking sick man like if somebody was saying that you um
one of the the new team members or team yeah one of the new team members that just came on said
that he's never seen he's worked and and he's from london he's never seen something like that
on oxford street so it's dope that the other side is doing like first of many for
people who've actually, who are actually from there.
I mean, normally he does like a lot of art stuff and brings in digital artists,
but also brings in like, you know, really kind of street wear trend brands,
trendy brands. And like, it was great to be in
that crowd like that was one of the number one things people said when we when they came up to
us the venue they were like damn to put the other side on this venue is a big deal in london like
that's that's a really cool place to get featured so yeah it's it is uh we haven't really pushed for
like user acquisition on other side yet and like part
of the reason i know i've said this in previous meet me at the clubhouses but it bears repeating
like we could we could spend a lot of money on user acquisition right now but i think the cost
to acquire a customer would be like pretty high like on a customer basis and then i think the
churn would be higher than it would if we started you know
later like if we just built and built and built and built and then did it then there would be a
lot more things to do and it would keep people in the ecosystem kind of organically but right now i
think as if we were to like you know start advertising super hardcore i think it wouldn't
be an efficient spend of money we should be spending that money
on the product instead for for a while to be honest but once you see that strategy like i
guess the downside of that is like you don't get to see other side out in the world as much
like you might think well normies aren't getting exposed to it like when is you going to do
something i think it is part of the strategy to just like focus on building as much product as possible here as many tools here as possible
many experiences as possible and then when you start doing that you know i don't actually think
we've seen something like that display on oxford street or other side like we haven't gone publicly
that loud with it but like that's a good teaser of like yo when we do get loud
it's going to look like that everywhere you know like signage on the sides of building like we're
gonna we do have to win people at their keyboards like i don't want to do like a you know you guys
have probably seen like friend.com for instance friend.com was doing these like super insane like
let's take over all five boroughs of new York. That, doing that is like $10 million.
And it's like, well, how many customers
did they actually convert with all of those ads?
Like, do you know anybody with a friend.com pendant?
So like, we do have to be wise about where we target people
and we have to win them as close to the keyboard as possible.
But I also think it's a good teaser for like,
yo, other side looks great on the side of a building and like i'm looking forward to when we actually do spend on that user acquisition
and we do get other side kind of like more public facing that we're gonna be in a position to win a
lot of eyeballs i mean just from what you said when you first got here
Figgy that month after month
more and more people we keep breaking the record
and it's all done you know insider baseball
we have something that's called building in public that became
like a marketing term in web3 and i don't know any other
team that's really building in public like we are and the poop is in the pudding because like i was
saying earlier teams like world of women are coming in and and shouting it out and saying how amazing
this community is and how they held an event they're going to do more events. And, you know, shout out to all the Apes,
shout out to Mac and everybody that welcomes everybody.
But the fact that we're pressure testing this thing with our community
and the other communities that are native to Web3,
I think that's 100% to play because once the floodgates open,
motherfuckers are going to rush in here and be like,
damn, who are all these people
and feel like they're late to something.
And there's nothing better than that feeling
as when you're first discovering something
and then you already feel like you're late.
So I feel like that's a huge part
of like genius marketing as well.
Yeah, I'm really thankful, you know,
with the growth that we've had on the platform
you know that there's a lot of people who would really like to have a place where you know this
many people show up and it's not lost on me that like we're really building for everybody in this
room first and foremost you know like again i was somebody that spent a lot of money on other
deeds before I got to Yuga like I understand the responsibility that we're trying to like
put out there but like there are so many people that would absolutely like like so many platform
startups that would want several thousand people coming in every month, right? And we've got that.
So now it's just a matter of like making sure
that everybody is aligned on what that goal is,
that they're aware of the progress.
And like, yeah, I'll keep coming to these, you know,
meet me at the clubhouse moments
and keep sharing what the progress is.
And with that, like, I think we can all be more coordinated
With that, I think we can all be more coordinated and work towards that common goal.
and work towards that common goal.
Exciting, exciting, exciting times ahead, guys.
As the team keeps cooking, I can't wait to see it on the side of a building.
Like a mega coda as tall as a building.
Could you imagine how beautiful that'll look?
Well, thank you, Figgy, for coming and hanging out and uh dropping some news for us some
information we always appreciate it we got buddha here who wants to jump up and talk about something
he's cooking uh trade boba so we're gonna talk about that in a second and then after that we're
gonna jump over to spend and loss for the ape chain ape co uh segment that we do every week
i want to hear about the me bits and what they're
cooking up with their football stuff because they're they're going hard right now on the
other side also so buddha come on up to the speaking rug my guy how you doing welcome up happy thursday
oh there it goes gmgm what's up everybody
moody in the building uh appreciate y'all you know um we've been cooking this for a hot minute
right now um you know obviously it's no secret that we got some love and support from Apeco some time ago.
And, you know, we've been out here grinding and kind of, you know, focused on trying to build what we have as a vision around the sweetest place to trade, which is boba.xyz.
Hope you guys have been checking out the timeline, too, in terms of at trade boba on X.
We try to go hard with our ip we
do that all in-house those animations those motion stuff um so many many late nights as a team um
with our with our favorite mascot taro the cat so yeah um if you haven't checked it out yet
definitely go check out Tradeboba.
There's a few elements that kind of make it what I think is like the future.
You know, I've been in crypto since like 2016.
It was literally right after like I had left like this, like, you know, banking and consulting.
And I was like super burnt out and I became a Buddhist monk for a while.
Hence why I'm Buddha. And there's like so many stories of that time, you know, you live in with
like wearing no underwear. When they first made me a monk, they shaved my eyebrows. All the monks
were like laughing at me. But yeah, I mean, trade boba itself is something like that I've been
But yeah, I mean, Trade Boba itself is something like that I've been thinking and cooking,
you know, working and advising a lot of projects from like a strategic and technical perspective.
But, you know, our vision combines a lot of different things together.
Like it's basically where you can trade spot, perps, predictions.
And we have already live Boba MCP. So if you're one of these vibe coders and you're
building stuff or vibe traders, we have a lot of the rails that you need to kind of all in one
place. So you're not focused wasting time trying to like, Hey, how do I make sure this this
transaction lands and more focused on like alpha strategy and complex strategies that could kind of cut across all
these different markets so yeah i mean we're live now apes get in there no fees hey a lot of them
were like you had me at no fees um but yeah we've been cooking it it's live on chain i think it's
one of the the coolest things that like the, especially for like those eight chain users,
it's like the best way I think to kind of use native eight coin, you know, eight on
different chains, because essentially within the, within the trading platform itself, it's
like the most efficient and most cost efficient and speed in terms of cross chain swaps and
spot trading. So you could finally take your, you know, your Ape and DCA into stuff, right?
And I think I've always had this vision of like, how can I help Ape Chain build out a
lot of the infrastructure to make trading and all these things possible?
So again, if you're building on Ape Chain or of the nine now ten chains that we support like this is
I'm the one you can hit me on the DMs anytime young Buddha
on X, but yeah, it's just been a
It's been a crazy ride and now we're here and we're ready to share these beautiful things
I really hope you guys like perps too. It's like a really sauced up from like a simple and advanced mode
um i love that it says on your uh post we retweeted on the byc page earlier so you guys can find it easier uh march 16th is uh when the spot fees end so for apes and mutants you have till
the march 16th to around and have some fun eat the fees for us boot
up man i want to hear this story about you getting your eyebrows shaved i had no idea about that but
maybe we'll save that for a dude yeah there's too many stories i mean uh i mean i used to be in a
rap game too i was a battle rapper in chicago back in the day a lot too many stories i always tell
these stories to apes in person uh usually you know kind of
remain a shadowy figure online but hey all the bags are down now so i'm happy to be completely
you back in the round now too i love it you gotta yeah i gotta get back in the red even though we're
banking no but uh no yeah and then um you know we have have some really cool IRL activations coming up kind of around that timing of when this be stuff ends
But there's gonna be a reason why it makes sense for the fees to end there's gonna be like some cool stuff
some XP other things that you can earn as well as some
In real life stuff and you know, he was talking about just getting you know each together
That's what I used to love too like just going to random cities blasting out hey i'm in japan right now somebody want to hang out okay
let's go we're going to shibuya tonight or something right um so we're going to do something
really fun that's kind of like a maybe a month long um that you know hopefully appes can come out, and we'll show some love for that too. But, yeah, check out boba.xyz.
Appreciate you coming up, hanging out, and sharing that with us, Buddha.
Same goes for everyone out there.
If you guys ever want to tell us what you're building, what you're working on,
DM me and Illa, and we'll make time for you because it's important for us
to all support each other, man.
I appreciate what you do, Buddha.
As an OG club member, always happy to connect with you again.
Illa, you have any thoughts or questions?
Otherwise, I'm going to throw it over to Spin.
I think somebody in the one of the eights may have a question.
I just have a quick question about the meetup in L.A.
I know last week or the week before we were
talking and you guys were gonna let me know about it but i i don't know where you guys post or or
how i can find out about the meetup if we're gonna have another one or something like that
there's a group chat i think that's like a la apes uh group chat so dm me and i'll do my best to add you after this okay okay thank you for sure man i
know i i think a few other apes uh realized that they missed out as well so maybe we got to run
it back soon enough uh because there's a lot of la apes out there for sure it's always nice to
see the homies spin where you at let's talk Ape Chain. Shane, sorry, I put my mic up there, new mic setup. You know, if you haven't been paying attention,
I mean, if you have bags from the top five communities
who brought home a black beard placement,
they've been getting swept.
They've been getting hit by the Ape Chain intern,
He is relentless pumping your bags.
I say that to say, stay tuned.
Season one wrapped up last week.
Intern is hitting the floors
this week. Individual prizes will be out soon as well. And sooner than later, season two will be
hitting other side with a nice little twist. So if you didn't participate in season one, please
be sure to participate in season two. We have some fun changes for everyone.
And yeah, you know, if you have any have any questions any concerns anything regarding blackbeard's bounty other side don't hesitate
to hop in that apecoin discord open that ticket uh and we'll get you squared away uh outside of
that you know big shout out to budo uh rolling out the bayc mpyc perks uh for boba you know if
you haven't hopped into that discord go ahead do it
quick super simple grab your code and get signed up and you're ready to go so big shout out to
them you know i'm excited to watch them roll out next month fully um and yeah you know it's always
had some great events in other side uh we wrote out our chimpers event this week um that time
will likely be pivoting one hour later so it usually kicks off
around 3 p.m we'll likely be kicking it off now at 4 p.m eastern uh to give the render pool folks
a little bit more time you know our um events were kind of over overlapping there and tropical
in the render pool community are doing something very very dope on the other side so if you haven't
tapped into that yet please make sure you do um and yeah this week
we'll be rolling out an event starting on fridays fridays 4 p.m eastern as well with poppy and the
quarkies fam so they've came into other side i believe over a month ago two-ish ago have some
really slick uh models and avatars in here and we'll be activating community starting this friday
at 4 p.m eastern so please
come join us keep your eyes peeled on the timeline for those events and those posts in the timeline
um and yeah i do want to give a big shout out to ape whale and boring merch as well um you know
this is happening in the bag channel so if you are a community from those top five teams ape whale
and boring merch are providing a merch box it
will be raffled off it will be distributed by the community team uh that won those spots so stay
tuned to those discord to those twitters and big shout out to ape whale for providing that merch
it's gonna be some dope stuff nice little t-shirt um stay tuned and yeah i mean you know i really
want to touch on some of the things that Figgy mentioned with the MML world.
A lot of the ApeCo team, we've been hands on getting in an nitty gritty, crashing the world, making James and PM spin it back up every 10 minutes.
We're so very sorry. But, you know, to be honest, as someone that is not a technical ape, someone that personally, I don't view myself as a creative.
someone that personally I don't view myself as a creative um I have been able to go an idea a
Gemini prompt of a theme of an asset that I want and have it live in that other side as a 3d asset
within five to ten minutes depending on you know the ai rendering time and maybe I type in the
error in my cloud code xyz but um but from what I've seen man it's been
really exciting just to be able to create and play around another side and it's so very easy to do
and as someone that is not technical like I even use my chat to tell me how to talk to my chat
you know to make sure I'm putting in the inputs right making sure i'm asking you know i'm looking at it the right way so i would say if ai isn't something you've tapped
into yet and maybe it's daunting maybe it's something you don't really care about i would
say you know if you love to play around in the other side uh definitely start to get hands-on
with it i mean uh i contribute a lot of what i'm doing with Open Claw, with, you know, the MML to my teammates at
Ape Co. You know, seeing them really push their cooks, seeing them always roll out some dope
stuff, you know, made me kind of dive in a bit more and, you know, look into like, what can I
do with this and realizing it's, if I can do it as a simple eight. Everyone in this room can create anything they want through other side.
So, yeah, definitely check out the tropical virtual video.
He gave a nice breakdown on what you can expect with MML, what to come.
And yeah, I would say stay tuned.
You know, I've been working on a little platform, a little simple game.
So whenever it is live, you know, I have some eight point prizes for whoever can get to the top of my little game.
All that powered by MML, powered by VibeCoding in OtherSide.
I think, you know, there's a lot of things coming down the pipeline that people can get excited about.
Whether it's OtherSide, whether it's ApeCo.
And yeah, just if you aren't tapped in, please do.
Blackbeard's Bounty is right around the corner. And who knows, maybe you might even be chasing some ERC Season 3 right around the corner as well.
So, yeah, as always, we're an open door.
If you're building anything on Ape Chain, building anything for ApeCoin, cooking up in the other side, don't hesitate to reach out.
You know, we'd love to chat and see how we can best support what you got going on.
Excited for the MML world.
Figgy, roll it out on Monday.
Give me the weekend to keep cooking, please.
That's all I have to say.
Yo, appreciate you coming through and dropping that.
I want to throw to Tropical in a second because he posted something really cool about that apartment building that he's building.
I'm not doing it justice.
I want to hear more about it. But before we do that are you around do you have anything to add uh i want to hear about
the me bits things if you guys could talk about that also for a second
oh yeah i can definitely touch on that loss did you want to hop in i can touch on the me bits
thing first i think you may be on the side um cooking up something but yeah go ahead yeah the
me bits all i have to share is
your entities are pumping expeditiously don't fade that they chain that community forget whatever
you heard if there's something that you wanted you better you bet you better figure it out
don't wait the communities are competitive are working hard or building cool stuff and
the rewards are rolling out the rewards are rolling out i'll just say that yeah let them
know and and if you didn't get your book, you're tripping.
It immediately, the floor immediately doubled.
I'm just saying, it doesn't matter.
Big shout out to Meepco, to Meepa Sam.
You know, they're all close to our heart.
They're cooking up something unique with a mix of this digital physical drop.
up something unique with a mix of this digital physical drop they're doing meat bit mini uh
avatars that are inspired by the world cup teams that are in the current world cup running um they
did group one with some of the major names some of the major countries that have already qualified
um that was a twit like a 18 hour drop they're gonna going to have future groups, you know, coming up here in the next month or so as the playoffs finalize
with other groups that end up qualifying.
So if you missed out today, or I'm sorry,
if you missed out yesterday on your Meat Bits Mint,
you know, head over to OpenSea, grab one on secondary
so you can flex up until the next drop.
It's really a unique, it's kind of like a digital card aspect
where um they have five teams inside of those five teams you have different jersey number mebs
um some of them you know may be inspired by some people maybe not who knows but uh you know they're
meant to be traded they're meant to be collected you're meant meant to, you know, have a whole in your wallet now that they're live.
They are going to be redeemable for a physical sculpture, a physical 3D print in the near future.
They're also doing some unique things with the royalties.
So the royalties on the secondary sales are kind of doing a, you know, strategic token approach where they just burned,
they just bought two MiBit avatars
off the floor and burned them
and secondary volume so far.
has said they have a bunch
of other things in the cut,
you know, to do just with,
you know, unique digital,
unique in real life utility
So I would say, you would say tap in, man.
If you haven't grabbed one, please do.
They look super cool on Other Side, and there's going to be a lot more in store.
I think Dupes is over here somewhere.
She's cooking Other Balls on Other Side.
But they might be doing a little Meat Bits Other Balls thing in the future too.
So you might need a Meat Bit avatar to be best dressed in that occasion um but yeah
as always if you have any questions regarding the meat bit stuff you can reach out to me
um but you know the meep co-team is amazing bojango guy uh you know sergito anyone else in their
discord are there to answer your questions um and yeah it's a really unique and
i think novel drop um it's super dope just to see the world cup come to life in the other side and
through me bits and they're just such playable and lovable characters you know you gotta collect them
all man gotta give the flowers where they deserve, man.
Ape Chain Team has been motherfucking cooking every single day, week in, week out,
coming up with new crazy ideas.
And the community is lovely
because they're actually engaging.
One thing, man, this community
and all the rest of these communities,
you can build whatever the fuck you want to build.
If the shit ain't, if it ain't it ain't it I'm gonna not participate
I think I don't even gotta give flowers bad the community part this is being
like a motherfucker what they chanting so and you heard spin he got inspired to
get in on the MML and get in on the AI because you've seen his teammates getting busy with it.
Let's believe that once that shit launches,
I know I'm going to be in those tropical virtual spaces
learning how to do this shit
because I got this game that I've been wanting to make since 2021
and I'm going to figure out how to do it
and I don't have to hire somebody.
All I got to do is sit my ass down like I was back in school.
Come on, man. Let's go go thanks for the shout out bro yo come hang out in the discord your love
yo tropical tell us tell us a little bit about what we're talking about and uh break it down
for all the people out there who may not have seen the post that we've seen going around this week
about this apartment building and all the stuff you've been teaching people lately.
Hey, man, just want to say thanks for bringing me up, man.
I've just been activated lately these past few days.
A lot of great ideas, meeting a lot of great people have been so collaborative and helpful.
So yeah, I've been working closely with MD Codes.
So if you haven't seen them or please give please give them a follow give them a look up md codes is amazing guy very humble dude
but a crack dev programmer so uh essentially just started with the idea of like you know i had this
deed right and i wanted to dedicate it to basically a public world and uh you know kind of wanted to
find a way to get everybody to build on
it, you know, in some weird way. And like, you know, maybe somebody could give me some assets
so that they build, I could set them up over here, set them up over there. But suddenly we had
HyphaChill in the chat with us. And he said, Oh, like, maybe you could do like an apartment,
like a capsule apartment, and everybody could get a room. And I was like, Oh, shit, dude,
that's such a great idea. And right after that, me and MD just like took off. And so we have a website now, the
renderpool.com and you can build your room in Blender. And that's all you have to do a little
bit technical, right? You're learning a 3d program, but that's as far as it goes. So we build a
template. So I made a template with walls and a floor. You have a 12 meter by 12 meter room, small space, but just enough to, you know, make
a cool little design and get your feet wet with this 3D stuff.
So you build your room blender, export it as a single GLB file, go to the renderpool.com,
And we have built out a 3D viewport in the website.
So when you're, you're, when you upload your room, you could see it in this 3D viewport and you website so when you're you're when you upload your room you could
see it in this 3d viewport and you can click on it spin it around you know you can click the walls
off toggle the walls on and off and stuff so you can see what you're building but the best part
there's an explore page on the website and you can see what everyone else is building so all of a
sudden our website right now has got several rooms that creators have just been pushing to it.
And now we're just collecting all these rooms, right? We're getting ready, right?
So like the idea is long-term to have this sort of ODK build to build up a hotel kind of experience,
you know, like a Habbo hotel, The Sims kind of a thing, you know, everybody has their own unique space.
But, you know, so we're building up to this long-term thing.
In the meanwhile, when you push your room, this GOB file to the website, you are turning it into an MML and you don't know that,
you know what I'm saying? We're tricking you, you know what I'm saying? We're, we're, we're getting
you to mess with MML and ODK without you even knowing it or realizing it. And that's the cool
part. So, you know, once you upload it, it, it, uh, saves it on the server and it keeps an MML link.
And with that link, I can then go into my ODK experience where the hotel build is,
and I can literally drop it into this custom blueprints that we made.
It's just a gray box, the same size as the room.
But when I drop the URL, the MML link into that gray box and I hit play on the game,
it just replaces all the gray box assets with
your assets that you made. So all of a sudden, we have all these gray boxes built out right in the
space where we put each person's custom MML link to their apartment into those boxes, and they all
populate with unique rooms from each creator. So this is a way to save me to not have to build
everyone's stuff. You can do the building, right? And what's so neat is you way to save me to not have to build everyone's stuff you can do the building right
and what's so neat is you can go to the website and push an update all on your own i don't have
to do anything you go to the site you want to change your room you want to move the chair over
a little bit whatever you hit update room you know i'm saying you up you re-upload the file
it replaces it in the game and it's just been. And so the short-term thing that's going to be really cool is with the MML world kind
of going live, the public world, we could still utilize those MML files that everybody's
been pushing to the website.
So all of a sudden, you could have your apartment in multiple places.
You know what I'm saying?
So you could have something in the public world something in our long-term odk build to kind of make this sort of like sims have a hotel kind of express yourself
in a way decorate your room you know have your homies come hang out all while utilizing mml uh
and the odk together and we're streamlining everything brother so that no one has to even
really think about the mml you don't even have to think about the ODK. So I'm really
excited for our project because like, I feel like a lot of MML stuff has been experimentation and,
you know, trying to bring stuff into the world. And I'm just feeling good about this project that
we're able to kind of put it into other people's hands and not even really have to have them think
about all that stuff. But if they want to get more involved,
they can, right? So we're meeting them in the middle. And we're saying, hey, if you're not
that good with 3d and all this stuff, that's okay, we've streamlined it. But if you know some,
and you're pretty good at this stuff, then you can come in and totally push it further.
You could use, you know, more animations or interactive objects and MML code, that'd be up to you.
But I just feel like the Renderpool Hotel thing was for us just a way to get people to continue
learning because I'm kind of like, I don't know, I've been taking this angle by education and
trying to inform people because it's my opinion that we mess with so much 3D stuff all the time.
You know, you get into a project, all of a sudden you got 3d files you got an avatar all this stuff wearables and everything so i just think just like learning
the language and like learning the landscape of 3d is just going to help you get by better
you don't have to be a pro it's just going to help you understand it's like um you know cell
phones come out you got young kids now swiping on the phones they know all the secret menus
that hold and press and a menu pops up it's's kind of like that, right? Like we're getting into this new era where like game
development is becoming more streamlined and much easier to do. And with this recent MML activation
with the public world, dude, people are going to be making objects, game objects, like game ideas.
Like it's, it's so bullish to me because like we're we're streamlining
game development right there's like a new era like all of a sudden everyone's gonna have their
own game world their own room their own apartment and the render hotel it's like we're we're we're
streamlining game development and it's just so good to see man and like i'm glad that it's happening
here in our space because we have the amazing tech for it uh the amazing community for it who's dedicated and wants to learn this stuff
i've had so many people who are like oh man i've never done 3d but like i want my own apartment
and the hotel room this and that and uh yeah dude it's it's pretty next level and i'm excited to
share with everybody so i hope it activates people to ask questions and stuff when's your next like
discord session or hangout session so people can come by and hang out and learn with you
yeah absolutely so i do a hangout every tuesday 2 p.m eastern standard time so one week it's a
bubble another site to discuss the work we're doing and then then the following week it's like
uh in the discord hanging out and cooking actual process and working and doing everything in real time so this tuesday is a render pull
session so uh in the discord so i'll be hanging in the discord at 2 p.m eastern standard time
i'll be working with the template file that we have on the render pull website so i'll download
it i'll show you how to work with the room template, how to work on the grid so that, you know,
I'm saying you're, uh, uh, you know, locked in with the rooms and doing everything evenly
Uh, so I'll be building stuff in real time, modeling as well, sharing assets.
So if you need help building up your room, I'll be right there, right behind you to assist.
Um, if you need the assistance, or if you know what you're doing, then I'll, I'll just
put you on the right path to just cook and do your thing man to like lower the barrier of entry on this level is crazy
i know figgy's back there doing the bird man hand rub right now yeah man weird that's it's just i keep thinking about that is like just right like you said that
was beautiful lowering the bar of entry like odk has been really great it's a powerful tool but it's
still you know you got to know what you're doing you know you got to know unreal you got to know
blueprints you know i still think someone could learn. But with this MML public world thing, I think it's going to streamline it even more with
And hey, if we can help facilitate that with like this community art project that gets
people excited, you know, it's not really a game.
It's not really a competitive thing.
But hey, it's a creative thing to do.
And you're doing it alongside your homies and you can express yourself and be online on the metaverse like i think that's a win-win you know to get people
interested active and just like understanding the tools a little better so that one day they
could just take off and do more man bravo from being in the community posting dope on 3D shit on the timeline and us supporting it
say shovel. You picked up the damn
Yo, Matt, send me that Discord
invite, man. i'm pulling up
i got you this is what it is the next iteration of of what the club was supposed to be in 2021
is like this is what we were thinking about this level of like all right who's gonna be the person
who's like the motherfucking the hero that's gonna come in and teach us some shit that can not only have us you know
and enable us to have some fun but shit there's going to be somebody that from our community to
build the next big game inside of other side and when people say when you know we say the
the roadblocks killer this is the type of shit i'm talking about this is the type of shit i'm
talking about so shout out to to the piggy and the whole other side team and shout out to the tropical for grabbing the keys to that bulldozer so you know
the club is like us and come in and and fuck around and find out and shout out spend man for
he was he walked us through some shit yesterday and i'm like well damn and then when he just said
like man i didn't know how to do that shit i was seeing other people not figure it out i'm like well damn and then when he just said like man i didn't know how to do that i was seeing other people and i figured it out i'm like oh yeah it's on it's on one last shout
out to my god buddha man buddha shout out to buddha another person who's another ape in the
community that's being okay purse trading is going is if we enter the bear market perp trading is
going to be not but not financial but you know, you can make
money going up when the market goes up or down. And we always got to support our own
builders. All these other communities support their builders. We got to support our own.
Yo, I saw you guys. Do you mind if I give a picture out?
Yeah, Memo. How you doing doing man? Are you safe out there?
Dude, dude, it got crazy. So big shout out to any apes or anyone in Mexico. We went through some dark days, you know got in in a crossfire with his kids it was the scariest
time ever so it made me think you know the importance of family of friends when the time
matters it's just life changing man and here we are a big family and i'm just proud and happy to
be part of it man so much love to everybody on the hn community on the other side is family right here
web3 man it's just something special man love you all brother glad you guys are all safe man
that was definitely a crazy time living in a crazy world but luckily we get to hang out in
the metaverse together it's a nice little disconnect from reality and and build in here
and have fun i can't wait to get uh the mml access myself like illa i've had
a lot of games in my mind for a minute memo do you have something else you wanted to share right
now no narco is another side for real for real no nothing man nothing man just you know enjoy
tequila in the weekend have fun and see you guys next week i guess yeah let's do this guys let's
jump over to the poker tables.
Like we said earlier, if you knock Illa or I out, just take our chips today.
We'll hit you with the 50% off code for the BYC store.
It's a little something fun just to have some time spent together, guys.
So I'm going to go downstairs and jump on a table.
Illa, jump wherever you feel fit.
And we'll see youall next Thursday, guys. Peace, y'all. Peace.
