man it's been a beautiful week it's been it's been one of them weeks like boy that b y c train

time i love what i'm seeing on the top a lot of a lot of uh people organizing a lot of apes getting
together right you seeing that too man yes sir hey you know
what i saw today too that made me feel a little goose pimply a little happy uh vibe jeff bozos
we got door flipping back their uh their board 8 pfp you know so we're having a lot of return
to monkey a lot of super ogs uh putting their board 8 back on today and got a nice little
copy pasta going on whoa
so uh return to monkey man it's it's been a vibe everyone's feeling it this week i love it
yeah you know i never left the monkey so it's great to see everybody else returning and the other thing i've been seeing is holy there are a lot of new apes there are a lot of new eight i can't say that about no shade
to anybody else because you know i'm not a person to throw shade but it just seems like more and
more people have been waiting for that they you know i guess people a
lot of people had their price that they're like yo i'm if apes get to this price i'm getting one
and i guess a lot of those prices have been triggering man because there's been a ton of
people on that timeline like yo yo i finally got my finally got my mute finally got my music finally got my music so i love that and they they're fit and once they get it they don't stop there they noticing
that that's that still rings true like eight follow eight they go on the timeline they get
that that crazy engagement booth they go to to the welcome eight space they feel that love
booth they go to to welcome ape space they feel that love they join the different channels on on
on in the in the group chats so the community is real man the community superpower is real
yo and and one of the the things welcome apes have been doing well is they got quests now so
welcome if you're new you can you can do some quests and and get a welcome kit one of them is hanging out here at me to the clubhouse so if you're new and that's part of your quest welcome
you know this may be some people's first time so that's always nice to see and we got a ton of old
school uh homies love seeing vanguard and memo and mm walk and coco and so many other friends
hanging out and so many new faces at the same time like i see a lot of new apes every week joining us here that is amazing because there's one thing on the timeline it's
another thing to speak with them you know and now you said we've seen a lot of apes activating
see a lot of apes on the timeline hey we got something popping off in this city in this city
i saw 22 apes are going to be meeting in nyc next week for a nice steak dinner
at a ape-owned venue you know like love hearing that kind of stuff
yeah if i was in ny i would definitely be pulling up and yeah that that's the that's
what the club is about you know all these apes around the world and yo it felt so crazy to go to tokyo and have
all those apes show up then we went to lisbon all those apes showing up we went to vegas all the
apes showed up you know from around the world so i love it i love it we went on an actual um eight fest world tour there is no other community that's why you
know maybe not even maybe that's for sure why you see people joining like now that it's hit
it's hit their prices whatever price they had in their mind because they're like man man that
that shit looks dope but maybe they're like damn i can't afford a ten thousand dollar asset like

because we we showed improve for four five five years now that we ain't going nowhere and the

believe that five years for many of us we've been here the whole time for so many of us we've been
here throughout different periods and five years that's pretty incredible man that's that's fucking
kind of sick and and kind of amazing because a lot of us have talked about the club in five, 10-year increments, and we actually are at five years just around the corner.
So that's still kind of unreal, man, and there's still so much further to go.

building concentrically around these tokens and i think you know you see zuckerberg for instance is
calling it quits on on his version of things after spending 80 billion dollars and it's like
yeah man you know that that was probably like this full of a lot of things that weren't getting done that's a lot of money to spend and
not not too much to show we have a lot of work to do still too but like i think the team that
we have right now is really cracked i mean people are delivering pretty much every week
so it's good for other side you know we're still eyeing the resource game trying to make sure that
like all of that i think there's there's a bunch of work to do there which I'm not quite ready to talk about yet what's up who's
that I thought somebody was talking um yeah but I also can't do this who is that
one mic one mic hold up on that man it's all good wow he sounds like he's having fun though i don't know
what that's all about um yeah and then also you know i think that there's like i wouldn't be
locked in if i wasn't seeing some of the feedback on the timeline too i think this is meeting at the
clubhouse and i think people are ready to hear kind of like substantive updates on all the stuff that we were saying at Ape Fest, which we are itching to talk about.
But we have to be we have to make sure those announcements are correct, because like the last thing we want to do is like say something for the sake of saying something.
And then, you know, things have to change on on
any one of the components i could say like next month it's the five-year anniversary of board
api club so we want to make sure that everybody is is being presented with you know a really strong
bull case and that we're rolling out with beats that are really that really matter um following
up with some of the news that's i think the club is hungry for so uh have been
seeing that feedback i think you know even it goes all the way back to oh geez you know i was
listening to coffee with captain for instance and i think he had some feedback uh to give to people
but i also think like people in this room people that are showing up every day and are super locked
in you know machiavelli for instance he's like
doing a bunch with other games but everybody was saying hey you know the apes aren't getting
together they're not doing the thing in discord they're not like talking about um you know what
the updates are and I thought Machiavelli had a good point which is like no we're actually meeting
like every week here in the clubhouse and we're talking and Villa and Baron are here
holding it down and all of you are here showing up and they go well that's another side that's
like really hard to get to and so it's like no we're actually like streaming this on the
Board of Yacht Club account like well you know I've got a conflict you know I can't watch it at
that time okay you watch the replay I think there's a lot of reasons to not engage and so it's our job to figure out like okay cool we are actually like laying this out
in the ways that people can get the information but i do think like we need some substantive
updates like that's really good feedback that we are dying to act on like we really want to put the
right information out there but it's it's got to be you know kind of like situated in
the right place for other side yeah i mean the great thing about other sides like there's updates
every week and yeah coco like you may not know about just that one feature which is like the
codacam but there are a ton of features coming out so bathroom blitz just came out with a new
map today based off Dornwood.
This is Von Doom and his team have been absolutely crushing.
One of the things that we're trying to get to with it,
it'll probably take a couple of weeks to set up,
but we're trying to prioritize global queuing,
which means that you could be here in the clubhouse
or anywhere on the other side
and queuing up for a game in bathroom blitz
because I think it's tough when it's like its own separate lobby and you want to be here because the
people are here and you don't want to leave to go to a separate lobby like we are trying to um to
get that updated but there will be tournaments coming up almost daily you'll be able to see
people putting together games and you should try check out the new maps that Von Doom has put together.
And there's even more, there's more builders that have been showing, like,
work in progress of what they're up to.
More new people showing up on the timeline,
showing, like, what they're doing with the other side content kits.
So I think there's more that's going to be showing up every week.
And we're going to keep showing up every week here for you know meet me at the clubhouse and giving updates and as soon as we
have more follow-ups that are like totally locked in and situated the way that we want you'll you

been uh developing in uh crypto for about uh six years i think full time uh happy to be here i've of course i've always known about uh the apes but
it was uh when coco and i started hanging out i really started getting involved with it and uh
had to get myself one still gonna get a board of one of these days but you know i had to rock a
mutant for now uh i love that intro scene man that's that's crazy the whole nexus opening and
everything uh
it was a wild experience i was like i'm trying to get i was like i have to get to the clubhouse
but i had to you know cross dimensions first but uh i made it

how far it came uh i joined here a couple months ago i swear that nexus thing must be new right
yeah nexus is relatively new um the crazy thing is we get updates like
every week every two weeks so you know the team has been crushing it um super excited i can't
even last or two weeks ago i asked piggy what is it what do you think it looks like in a year and
he's like bro this is moving so fast like what does it look like in three months you know what
i'm saying so the next time y'all y'all pop in like you know don't be a stranger but if you are
next time you pop in there's gonna be some a whole nother world of going so yo fellas for those who don't know what ape church is give a
little you know a little info a little background on a church yeah absolutely uh pilgrim you want
me to go for it yeah yeah go for it bro go for it all right yeah so a church is kind of a first of
its kind in a sense it is a fully, fully on-chain games of chance protocol built exclusively on Ape Chain
Rails. And when I say fully decentralized, I don't mean it's just another, you know, casino where
we're just trying to make everyone lose their money. And we actually flipped the kind of the
whole narrative on its head. So instead of it being a platform where we're trying to take
everyone else's money, it's actually a full DeFi protocol where you can choose to either side with the house or play and try to take the house's money.
The house isn't us, it's a fully open, ownerless liquidity pool in a sense that anyone can just stake their ape into.
And as players lose, the house balance goes up and as players win, the house bounce can go down. So it's a little more volatile than traditional staking, but as with any platform, you make sure that the numbers match up so the house does win over time.
But with ours, we want it to be as fair as possible, so that house edge is actually very, very low.
It's high enough to still get a good yield if you are staking Ape, but it's not so high that it just bankrupts everyone like you see in all these other platforms so the goal here is to build a decentralized liquidity layer through ape chain
that lets anyone make their own casinos make their own casino games uh you know permissionlessly
rev share people uh and just gives a place where for right now with ape church that where people
can just go and play and you know everything's on chain and verifiable and open source.
So if you don't trust us or believe us, you can actually see all the code yourself to know exactly how everything moves.
But it's kind of like a framework for the future as well where you know other communities or their projects can build their own games on top of it. And they can actually get a piece of every single bet placed on the platform.
So there's a lot to it ahead of what i just said but to save it from
being a monologue uh i'll let coco jump in yeah no so i always wanted to like i everybody knows
me i've been a d5 guy for a long time um i was really big into d5 summer and even during the
ico craze in 2017 i did my first ico um and this was like i've been in crypto for a long time and i've been
in crypto for over 10 years now over a decade and um i've always loved i've always loved d5 and i've
always loved um permissionless stuff so when you know me and mark started uh like architecting
the idea to make ape church um in the beginning like this was kind of the idea we had, but over time, like we've been building it for like a year.
And it's only really been out for what or five months now because we had a long beta because we wanted to test everything and make sure everything was was really slick and worked really good.
The user experience was great.
experience was great um but now what we what we've realized is we actually did the best possible
thing was by taking kind of like the slow route and just building this protocol and building like
a really good community and basically doing it on ape chain because while like you some people
might say we're kind of under the radar like in the full grasp of of like, okay, all the stuff that you see on the timeline.
But if you look at the numbers, if you look at the numbers, if you go on DeFi Llama, we're
actually in the top three and top number one in most categories when it comes to luck games,
when it comes to DeFi.
So like a lot of people, you know, there may be some people from outside of ApeChain might
not realize it.
But if you want
to just look at the raw data we're actually beating a lot of protocols out there so that's
just something yeah you know you know go ahead all right i'm getting used to this push to talk
thing my fault uh the everything as well is just built on ape chain rails so every single game
played uh does three transactions to fill up block space. Every single one of those is burning ApeCoin.
Since they went live, their new burning mechanism, the amount of
ape from gas that's gone over there is in excess of 100,000
ape already sent over to be burned just from people playing
on our platform. And the way that we set it all up is you
don't even know you're on ApeChain when you do it, you can
just create a social wallet and you can deposit like Solana,

Coin for you to start playing with but from what we've seen we've actually brought a couple thousand
people that have never been on Ape Chain before over making wallets on here and just to play the
games and that's kind of the ideal goal and that's what we're doing with it you guys are doing with
the other side as well as you abstract out the chain you know of course you win apecoin from you know like i just got my
apecoin for uh completing the nexus uh uh introduction but in that kind of same realm
you know you want to onboard users for a product and it's easier to do that than to onboard people
to a new chain that they haven't heard of so So abstracting that out and making it the core infrastructure, but not the focal point
has definitely helped a lot because we've gotten a lot of conversions from Solana, BNB,
et cetera.
The whole process is beneficial to ApeCoin in every way.
And that's always been our consensus.
We could have done a USDC or anything else for our house or our gameplay.
And that might have been more what people are used to. but we really wanted it to be ape centric yeah so i guess you know go ahead go
ahead bro yeah no you guys are killing it man i did want to touch on one thing um you guys do
offer the opportunity for if you're a project founder creating you know a community on a chain
for if you're a project founder creating, you know, a community on ApeChain.
You guys do offer the opportunity to create games, correct with your documentation, and
that can lead to a possible revenue split of those games for project founders, right?
Yep, absolutely.
So it's moving more and more trustless as we go.
Eventually you won't have to like vet the game, but for now, the process is if you have a community or anyone on or anything really on ape chain and you want to get your own
custom game on there we'll work with you we'll create the game usually you guys will supply the
art uh part portion of it and uh the game goes live and just like in the model of ape church
you guys don't have to bank on your community losing money to make revenue because that's kind of the whole thing we want to do here is separate the house from the protocol level so the way that it works
is every time someone plays a game of one of your games in real time you get a piece of that buy-in
so if they if they put a thousand eight on a game you would get about 10 eight so about one percent
of every buy-in just coming in as profit whether whether they win or lose. So in your mind, you just want volume. You're not really worried about
the results of it. You actually can root for your guys to win because it all uses that
decentralized liquidity layer, which is the house. Yeah. So anyways, like, I mean, there's a ton of
stuff like we could, like Mark Mark said monologue all here.
That gets kind of boring.
But what we really wanted to come up and talk about is we've spent a lot of time over the past three months.
Well, what is it?
Four, four and a half months now crafting.
And this is a first for me is we have our NFT collection coming out.
I know a lot of you guys have probably seen it.
We've been kind of putting in the art out there and stuff. You know, they're called Gimbos and they were created by Rita.
So like we partnered with him and Inceptive basically kind of like the I would say like
a brother project to G's in a lot of ways because Rita is one of the you know, he created
everything like that because I'm not an NFT creator in that sense. I love NFTs. I've
bought them, I've held them.
I've interacted in that side of the space,
but I've never actually done my own collection, right?
So we put a lot of thought and effort into this,
and we really wanted to look after the people
that is basically like our home base,
which is Ape Chain,
and all the people that are apes and all that.
So yeah, those are coming out at the end of the month and they're gonna like unlock a ton of cool stuff um i mean we've packed so much
into what they can do they're gonna be other side ready day one uh as rita said um we're gonna be
doing the wearables there's gonna i mean mark maybe you can talk about the standard of how the nfts
gonna work a little bit yeah no i mean there's a ton of stuff they can do so if you guys are
familiar with ape church at all there's uh there's a pretty solid game loop. As you play games in the
church, you earn gimbal points, which can be used to mint in game assets that you can sell on the
secondary or you could just convert it back into a feel like loot boxes or scratch cards. But
owning gimbos is going to boost the amount of cash back you earn, which is actually going to
increase the RTP of the platform, like reducing like reducing the house edge, uh, for everyone.
Uh, there's also going to be several ways to put your NFT to work, to earn passive income
for you, whether you're renting the benefits of it out, or you are staking it to earn platform
yield or, uh, you know, using it to boost your referral rate.
Basically everything that the platform does now will be enhanced by owning gimbos and not
just you don't have to just buy them. If you're a gambler, you
could buy them to boost you in the house or you can buy them
for some form of passive income by renting it to gamblers. So
there's there's a lot of different mechanisms built in to
the to the project. And yeah, if you've been on a church and
you've seen, you know, like how it does,
it does get a lot of volume. I think it averages around half a million Ape a day ish since
launch. So having the NFT side of it and baking in utilities for them will is easier than
with a brand new protocol, which is also why I'm glad we waited to roll these out.
Yeah. And then we're also heavily building them towards like the other side and
avatars and we're gonna like partake in all the cool like wearable stuff and i really want them
to be like a cool figure and avatar inside the other side so um that's why we went with rita but
you know we're happy to say that like we're gonna announce it pretty soon but all mutants and apes
will have uh first come first serve um for the for the mint
meaning like your your address will be basically as soon as it goes to the allow list the address
will be on there so obviously we're gonna hook up the apes right um you're gonna have to be fast
though because the demand that we've been getting for collabs is crazy um there are the white lists
that we maybe talk about the whiteitelist a little bit more um yeah
we released the whitelists uh in the loot shop like i was saying before when you play games you
earn gimbo points and you can use those to to kind of mint uh in-game assets this was one of the first
ones they only uh they were selling for 25 ap a piece worth of gimbo points um at the beginning
and you know over the first few months we didn't really announce the date so they were kind of sitting there, but they sold out a little while ago.

centralized control as possible. So if you like the idea of being able to play and know for a fact that
what's happening is verifiable and it kind of sucks because you have no one
to blame if you lose but yourself.
But it really is a cool system being able to be the house or be the player
