and yes guys we are live here over on metaverse show episode 147 it's darren srs here and slightly
late but we are still roughly on time uh with today's stream pretty pretty uh big one today because we are kicking off what is probably the most important season in the
memes by 6529.
I think if you've sort of been following what's been going on with the memes by 6529, you
probably be aware how much this has changed uh how much things have changed uh for this particular
season here uh just a second here friends just posting the stream to some of our chats
okay so uh yeah so just sorry about that just making sure that we get the word out
to our friends out there and friends if you are listening and be sure to repost the uh stream uh for more people to join in and witness I guess the kickoff of season 11 of the means by
six five two nine over here I do have with me of course uh the creator of the uh first drop in the
season seven of the collection and that is arsenic he's with me right here as you can see over here live on the street

I think you're really taking the spotlight today with a drop happening for the first ever drop for season 11 here.
But just a little bit off topic.
I noticed that you won a CryptoPunk yesterday.
That is insane yeah yeah
it's been crazy week for me this week i've won the uh the punk from uh infinite objects uh they had
that uh contest going on and i've been the lucky one so super stoked about that wow wow everything is going super well this week for you i do have to
say and i think having the privilege uh of uh you know uh kicking off season 11 probably i would say
in my opinion might be the more amazing uh thing uh here as we uh kick off season 11 of the memes by 6529 here we're definitely going to
be covering way more about this as we go along for today's show metaverse show episode 147 here
and uh friends thank you for joining us here i'm gonna do a little bit of screen share so you guys can see uh gonna be
sharing drop for today's uh 6529 meme card drop meme card number three four three uh titled pepe
x uh the uncensorable anti-hero serge Pepe world. I love it.
Definitely got that vibe.
I guess sort of like a sequel to the initial card.
Folks, if you are aware,
probably one of the more famous 6529 meme cards is, of course,
Sergeant Pepe by Arsenic dropped over in season one.
And right now, 10 seasons later, we're dropping the sequel to it.
Lots to learn more later on in the show.
But as always, friends, we are going to dive a little bit deeper
and learn a little bit more about our featured guest and today of course we do have arsenic here and arsenic uh yeah i think a lot of people probably
know you of course if they are in the 6529 meme card space uh very very much active in the ecosystem
yourself and of course being part of the team that launched the pebbles project as well but i'm just probably
touching the tip of the iceberg here i'm sure there's a lot more that even i may not know about
you uh so why don't we yeah kick it off with a little bit of introduction let our folks listening
here learn a little bit more about yourself so arsenic whysene, why don't you take it away, give us a bit of an intro.
Sure, sure. Let me give a little more about my background. I think the 6529 Collection Twitter
posted a little something about me this morning. My journey in art started in college I did my arts and it was called art arts and arts and media back
then it was one of the first program to have digital media in in in their college classes
that's what totally hooked me up up with digital work I did some physical pieces back then and a little after but i'm not i'm not very
good at that i'm a lot better at digital than than uh physical i would say or maybe i need more
practice who knows uh but yeah i started i started playing with photoshop when i was 14 so it's like
with Photoshop when I was 14. So it's like, I don't know, way too long ago with Photoshop 3.0
back then. And even before that, I did some ASCII and Seahart for those who are old enough to
remember the BBS era. And yeah, in 2015, I would say after running a web agency for a row about what
and 12 years i i i i bought my first bitcoins and three years later in 2018 i i let go the company
the agency to go full-time crypto and i've been full-time crypto
since since then so it's my seventh year full-time crypto right now um people who know me uh i've been
part of zblocks that's that's what that was my first i would say n NFT drop, real NFT drop with Unigrid back then on Rblocks with the
help of Snowfro, who was already a friend that I met in 2017.
And yeah, after that, I've been hooked up and been playing with John Hart a lot. And I would say more recently, Surgeon Pepe was actually my first drawing art I did.
And the rest is, as you know,
guys have been building Surgeon Pepe World.
I've been trying to build that decentralized brand
that Surgeon Paper Wall is.
Hopefully this year I can push it a little more,
even this market,
but I don't care much about markets.
So yeah, I'm a builder.
I love crypto, I love NFTs.
And yeah, you guys won't get rid of me uh that soon very very cool there there is a lot
you know so that we i guess for us uh in the uh 6520 ecosystem that we know you for of course
as you mentioned earlier sergeant peppy world and also uh the duo behind the duo z blocks which yeah it's probably one of the og uh you know
creators for for art blocks projects right i think you guys dropped one of the earlier projects for
art blocks there so i i guess i i would assume in that case that you you sort of have good experience
with you know algorithmic generative art but at the same time digital art. What is the sort of like, you know, which one do you sort of lean closer towards?
Is it more on the coding art side or more like the digital art side?
or you know do you have a specific one that you sort of leave yeah i'm i'm in the zblocks duo
Or, you know, do you have a specific one that you sort of lean towards?
i'm definitely the visual guy like the one having the crazy ideas and putting up like say the mock
ups of of what i envision it and then uh sabi was with me is really the brain of it.
I'm nowhere close to Sebi.
I know a bit of coding and things like that, but Sebi is the master at that.
So I leave it to him right now.
Yeah, I'm definitely more close to the art side of the things.
Yeah, very, very very to see there uh not sure friends if you're hearing any
background like echoes uh I think I got a little bit of it earlier but hopefully stream is working
fine for you all there uh do you want to actually do you want to give a little bit more uh info on sergeant pepe world maybe you know how
how how you sort of like grown it and maybe a little bit on the background on how it sort of
started of course i know it but for our listeners here because i think that's that's probably
things about you yeah um so yeah sergeant paper will all started after Serge and Pepe took off and become that character
that people could recognize around.
I decided that it will be the figure of an idea I had for a long time.
I really wanted to create a decentralized brand what it means it's
a it's pretty much an ip that that is cco that everyone can use anyone with a product could be
able to use it contact us eventually hopefully we have a big enough following to help everyone using
it to to get exposure so anyone anywhere could use
search and bepe and reach out to us and we'll help them to promote their their products their
services or uh or anything uh and eventually hopefully create a network of network of of
people to uh to do the same.
So right now it's, it's mostly me doing some stuff.
I did some murals around the world.
I did,
there's an ABC,
a little funny ABC book coming up to,
to test some of our infrastructures.
There will be a comic book coming of a couple of collabs coming up as well with with sergeant pepe
and and already uh some discussions with more uh more ambitious project as well so
so we'll see it's been it's been a grind i would say uh market have been uh up and down so attention
up and down so attention attentions for the markets but uh i'm still around still still
pushing it and eventually uh hopefully it starts uh going going well and getting more visibility
all righty sorry i'm just checking over here and i do want to update you guys friends here that we have just gone live yes that's right
we've just gone live with uh meme card number 343 went live about seven minutes ago by the way friends
uh we are now less than 99 editions remaining uh after uh it's just like seven minutes to go.

Do you want to share a little bit more deep background about this? Yeah. I had that crazy idea
show the world
a bit what we are trying to do
and send
the message of freedom to transact
around the world to
commission artists to do
some murals around the world.
if you are an artist and can do murals feel free to
send a dm i've been commissioning them i want that as much as possible as many as possible
and hopefully the trend pick up and we can have people drawing sergeant pepe all over
all over the world in different locations.
That will be amazing.
We have that one, I think that one in Mumbai,
if I remember correctly, we have one in Wynwood in Miami.
We have another one in Argentina.
So yeah, this is the kind of stuff I really want to push and to send and teach
the people about the freedom to transact. I think that's what brought me in crypto,
the decentralized way of Bitcoin was what hooked me up around and that's what I'm still
working around. I think I'm a dreamer and I got a world without borders
and without politics, religion.
I think that would be amazing, but it is what it is.

background on this i think i i of course what we're seeing here is that you know uh pepe x is
the anti-hero of sergeant pepe world. You want to give us a little background,
like how you came up with this character?
You know, what inspired you?
Interesting fit for our listeners here.
Of course.
So, yeah, I'll give a little background.
With Sergeant Pepe World, I've created Sergeant Pepe,
but I also have created other characters like El Fafel, like Rina Rana,
which is Sergeant Pepe's girlfriend.
So Williams, Pepe, and other characters I'll be using around either comic books
or other stuff I will be doing with
with surgeon paperwell so i think i think since we are changing the way and launching a new
a new era in the uh six five two nine memes and the way it's decentralized voting and everything that you guys know i really wanted to
create um not a new beginning but something new to bring into the surgeon paper world
so i decided to create the uh i'm entire entire role of sergeant pepe called pepe x
entire role of Sergeant Pepe called Pepe X. I wanted him to be rebellious, to be all the
opposite of Sergeant Pepe, which is the nice guys, thumbs up. They're both fighting for
the same cause. They want freedom to transact. They want to bring decentralizations but pepe's will do it in a different manner i would say that that
surgeon pepe is doing so the character is based on one of my favorite singer when i was a teenager
and still up to date called iggy pop most of you know him uh is probably the legend of unsensorable i would say uh at least for myself so i rebase him
on that that's why you can see him sitting on the amplifier uh in the image with uh the double
the double finger in the air so that that's the background the idea behind it and uh i'm of course i made it purple so we can
see is really the uh opposite or the uh anti-hero of uh of certain pepe and what i really like about
that one to be honest and make me smile every time is people people uh cheering about all the new tech and everything and retweeting about all the good
things of the platform and all you can see is two fingers in the air so I'm laughing every time I
can see those and I think it really gets people's eyes to read more about what's happening over there with the 6529s.
I love this particular thread by you that you dropped a couple of days ago.
That was just when you were just getting the voting started, right, to get the TBH votes.
And of course, friends, if you are listening in
and you have no idea what we're talking about right now,
and probably our thing also led to the fact that, you know,
this season of the 6529 Mean Cards is, of course, super, super special
because we have sort of uh decentralized the entire process of selection
and curation of 6529 meme cards uh it's all done over on 6529.io and the key resource here is tdh
and that's why there's this uh cute little tdh war uh thing that you saw that peppy x has got right on his jacket here
and uh tdh is what what you're supposed to use to vote uh for uh meme cards uh to be dropped

over there and uh one of the key decentralized decision making that is being sort of highlighted
right now is uh selection of the meme cards for season seven season 11 onwards so of course uh peppy x is the first ever 6529 me card ever ever to be selected in
the decentralized way through decentralized voting and we can see over here I'm just here on the
6i209.io uh website here and this is sort of like the main wave or group uh where we're sort of
voting for the next meme card actually which actually takes place in just an hour.

I think it's very likely to take the first place here,
meaning that his artwork right here that we see

Really, really cool, because all this stuff
is based on voting.

I said really really landmark uh moment for the beans by 6529 and probably super super uh great
feeling for you arsenic to be uh the first one to drop in season 11 so yeah as we sort of like uh finish
which is the first hour of the drop uh tell me how you're feeling uh arsenic
i mean it's it's actually i'm actually super super grateful i i actually didn't plan to launch him at first in the first round just because
I don't know I didn't want to steal the attention I would say uh but but yeah so so I dropped it late. I think on Saturday, only one day before the voting close.
Rakesh was killing it and is now killing it, of course, with his card.

But I mean, I felt kind of bad to drop in late and and and take his place but
but yeah i'm super grateful to be here and for all all the uh the attention i got from from the
community i mean it's it's what keep art is going i would say like it's not well for me it's not
money is always something people need but when you see people
appreciate you appreciate your heart I think that's that's that's what keeps you going and
and you showed you showed the um the meme wave for for for the drops and for posting your uh
your heart I just want to have there, if you're an artist
and you're wondering if you should do it or not,
just go for it.
Like, first case scenario people, well, best case scenario
people see your heart, have to learn who you are,
and you get some exposure from it.
